"The other side of the tighten bolts look at chiefs having the ball. This side of the boat really just comes down to like cliches cliches for a reason. Everyone's like welcome. The niners pass rush like get pressure on the homes of four guys and everyone's to talk about that but yeah no actually. Let's talk about but that is in fact I get and there's a reason everyone keep saying it over and over. Deka what do you think. Can they get pressure. I think they can yeah. I don't know how much it will matter. I think moms is just number. One is mobile. He can escape and we stay. We've seen that last couple of games. He's used his legs. Kind of get away from pressure. Does that mean the forty niners. Maybe after spy with somebody will see The other thing that I think is really interesting about the chiefs. Offense is like mahomes can go deep yes so much speed from hill and Hartman and walk ins and whoever That he can drop back at his back foot and get the ball out and still go. Deep doesn't have like sit in the pocket for a few seconds you know so I think the forty niners defense for knives defensive line and his obviously elite and could give him problems for sure but I think that they have enough mechanisms to get the ball out quickly and they don't have to. Just doc can still go deep with the guys that they have with the speed that they have so. I'm not I don't know if it's going to be enough to Kinda slow. Mahomes Down Craig. What he think just to kind of exemplify how mahomes can work outside of the pocket Really anywhere mahomes is throwing this as per Evans Silvana savage. He's done a league-high twenty two touchdown passes on the run runs since the start of the two thousand eighteen season kind of insane. Like if you think about a shortstop grabbing a grounder on his way to the right and he's got a flip it all the way across the first baseman that's essentially what mahomes does on the full right. Yeah yeah and with the with the freakish speed of of the chiefs wide receivers. It means that Mahomes doesn't need as much time in the pocket to hit these guys deeper down the field right right like that that touchdown up to seem to tyreek hill. He just got rid of it. Record just like awesome. He probably had the ball one and a half seconds and tyreek was already thirty yards. Farther than many of the receiver would be down the field which is also a huge bonus for him with a good pass. I like the niners have. Yeah and Andy. Reid is shown time and again that he has the playcalling chops to kind of a gig is isolated. Find the weak link. It's just like what Janon does re is giving me such a good chess match from these to play college because they both know how to manufacture one on one situations whether that's with Kelsey with Hill hardman whoever You know we've seen it time and again and so yet like that. For instance that touchdown last week where like you said Hill scored from out of the slide. They motioned Hartman in inside of him. which changed the way that the defensive play? They had like a single high safety on the topic. That safety Tattoo Honored Hartman's post route up the middle of the field that made that made hill the one on one match up and they manufactured that matchup mahomes knew immediately and he guys on an island. Just drop back it up like it was so easy. So who do you guys think that this is my question for both of you. What can the niners due to take away hill and Kelsey and Kennedy both? We'll so it starts with just the play can't last that long you guys mentioned mom the home scrambling like look no. It's so difficult for defensive back to stop a receiver cover them from within like five seconds. It's so hard but when the chiefs were like the fastest justice players the fastest receiving core in the whole league. It's that much harder. Then you add that mahomes can scramble to make three or four second play into a seven or eight second play. It's impossible it can't be done because he can throw it anywhere on the field and those guys are so fa can't cover that long so the niners the pass rushes job. Everyone's been comparing into like the two thousand seven giants who had stopped the Patriots and the difference is like when the giants are getting pressure with those four guys. They weren't worried about what happens if Tom Brady. Jukes Michael Strahan and like buys another few. You know what I mean. That was not a concern about Tom. Tom Brady scramble. They're GONNA kill you. That's not a thing like right. The difference here is that the niners pass rush isn't just about launching to the pocket they have after contain mahomes. which is this dual job? Chris Long mentioned this on the Ryan Russillo podcast but it's about rushing and staying disciplined and that really just a bunch of guys who kind of have have this like hunter mentality have to stay disciplined quite literally stay in their lane and if they can do that the whole game the second layer that is also getting guests the niners peak defensive of performance that we kind of all think of in our mind when we think about their peak was when they were healthier. We hear all the time about their five first round picks the rallies four. Because Solomon. Solomon Thomas is really like a second stringer for them but it's also like they also have Ronald Blair. They had the mantra more they had. Dj Jones they had. Julian Taylor. This guys are all injured reserve. Those we're the lesser heralded. Guys that were letting Nick Bosa deformed guys deforest playing like half of the forty niners because he's been dealing with injuries all year. Bosa was at his best. When he was playing three quarters of the snaps game they might be up to eighty five or ninety in this game? I don't even think it's it's not just getting pressure in the first quarter. I'm not necessarily convinced they will be able to sustain that throughout the game but even if they do then the counter is like home all these screens these short passes so the niners have to be able to tackle to make sure like an eight yard. Slant tyreek Hill doesn't become like a twenty eight yard slant so I think it's a lot tougher than I. It's not as simple as like Kennedy. The pressure that no. That's really interesting. Like are they going to have to mush. Rush him a little bit in terms of take their foot off the gas. Like you're saying Danny in on the outside so make sure he doesn't get outside seeing star wars where. It's like the trash compactor. That's actually every play. I'm not even kidding because Kiva Listen Ford. It's my I was talking to Jess Schwartz about this is the brother of Mitchell Schwartz who will be defending the right tackle position for the chiefs and he was explaining. It's it's much more about a bowl rushing with boasts and Ford. You like slowly bring it in and then you also need buck there and Armstead deforest buckner. Eric Armstead collapsing the interior. And you're just trying to crumple mahomes in and isn't as fun or sexy as a defensive end like benzes shoulder and then like tops up and strip sacks of quarterback from behind but it's much harder from a homes to escape escaped pocket and turn a four second play into seven second play when he gets outside the pocket I think the the the strategy for the forty niners and a lot of teams is to what's called plaster and it's find your guy and stick to him like all the rule change at that point you just find a guy and stick with them get in his hip pocket And that's another reason. Why I kinda like the Jason Kelsey pick? Sorry Travis Kelsey pick. I've been saying Jason always do that. person who confuses like the less famous brother for the more AH. I don't think anyone else. No one else thinks of court crash. When they think of Kim I don't know why I don't know why do that but Sorry Right Travis Kelsey That's why I like him. A lot in this game is because you know. If he's roaming around in the middle of Phil. We saw the other game last game when he had those touchdowns a lot of I think at at least two of them were on scrambled. Drill type lays trying to remember the exact place one was like where you're rolling the right. Yes scrambles to him Anyhow you You know when he gets outside Kelsey has the ability to shake like if it's if it's a linebacker in the millfield or whatever you know that's immediately the offense has the advantage there because they know where or they're going it's just you know the defense s kind of like try and keep up with frigging Cheetah or whatever and so I like Kelsey in that scenario just because of the way that he's kind of mahomes outlet slash safety blanket over the field and when he gets outside the pocket. Seems like you both like calcium you guys. Neither of you have hill in your lineup. I I just think calcium were interesting. Well so here's a very specific reason. I like Travis Kelsey Shadow to Matt Bowen at. Espn a former NFL safety. Who pointed this out to me a small mall example of why I think the chiefs could really do a lot of damage in this game so I think I don't WanNa be like famously but Richard Sherman always plays one side of the field? I never know if like twitter. Feud with Durrell Rivas has actually made it to like normal people and not just like nerd football twitter but Richard Sherman plays one side of the field. He's is on the right and then you've got Emmanuel Moseley who's the other niners. cornerback drafted playing the left. One of the chiefs. A thing to look for is when the chiefs go three receivers on one side like trips. They make a little triangle. And then Travis CALC- is on the left. Sometimes it's hell sometimes but when Travis Kelsey that would they do that. They're basically putting the niners defense in a bind because you either have to let three receivers be on one side of the field and you kind of WanNa shift your defense that way right but the the issue is if you do that because you know. Richard Sherman travel. You can put Travis Calcium manual. Mostly I think has got like five inches on them and twenty pounds and he's just as fast probably probably the Ba- he's a better route runner. The George Kettle like that is such a mismatch. Furton Emmanuel Moseley try regarding Travis Kelsey. I mean you're gonNA try to funnel him inside inside whatever you're GONNA do. I think that matchup could be such a problem for the items throughout the game that I really liked Kelsey to get more consistent insistent. Good matchups in this the tyreek Hill. Because I think tyreek Hill. It's the speed against maybe Richard Sherman. But I think Calcium Moseley's a better match up and I like that one I mean to beclere. I like hill in this game too. I think he has a chance. Go off just the way that just the way the line is worked out. That was how I I have a question for you guys you smart cookies. Why is the whole cornerbacks? Only play one side of the field thing a thing you know. How like some quarterbacks late while there are system quarterback and it's like all right well let's Everyone says well who. WHO's not a system quarterback? What team doesn't have a system like it's Kinda the same thing for defense? It's kind of like just because someone's a cornerback. Back doesn't mean you have the same job right like it's not that complicated when idea like in your real life. I don't care what your job is. Your title is not the same like your job isn't the same same as someone else at the same title. Richard Sherman generally plays cover three on one side of the field because the Seattle philosophy they come from believes in fairly indica Seattle than I do. But it's fairly simple stuff on the pass coverage stuff because they believe if ever the rules for the secondary is simple simple and you eliminate gray area if decision the cornerbacks and safeties have to make is black and white players can play faster. Robert Salad leaves the same. Speak Carol that when you eliminate gray area and you players playing faster that is the best defense and then you can do all the exotic cool stuff at the line of scrimmage who the defensive Lineman Terrell Davis was doing which is so good that Rex Ryan would be like you're gonNA literally guard one guy in that side of the field. I don't care it's Calvin Johnson. You're GONNA take Calvin Johnson out of the game and I'm GONNA use my other ten guys to attack his team. And I'm not GonNa even think about Calvin Johnson. It's just a different way of approach. That's interesting so it's just like almost Richard Sherman is is just more comfortable knowing that the sideline on the same side every single time and he knows how to defend. You know. It's just like in basketball. You Force the guy to go baseline because you know you have that exact defender right there. And he just is more comfortable with that. Yeah I think that's a big part of it. I was just thinking. I wonder if it's sort of like playing right left. Tackle and or the footwork is a little bit different and the comfort zone own is similar to what you're saying. Maybe it's the footwork and stuff like that to ever hear about that receivers. She's not receiver that only plays on one side of the field. Right not know there are some some. Do like for instance who we literally Sankei. Danny Kaye. Spock by We he what a moment for this podcast decay. CK right there too many chords everywhere we go chase them down. I think he'd Outrun us. I mean he looked glorious all season Kelsey and actually mean the real Jason. Kelsey the brother of Travis Travis. WHO's the center for the eagles fantastic interview with full of the athletic? I recommend people read it. It's it's amazing. Just talks about how his body felt after every week and the season is Oh yeah Ebel but in that he had a conversation about this and he basically said is about hall of fame and he said there's probably a handful of players in the league. Who could actually played played any system? The resume like those are the hall of famers. The rest of us all have such limitations. We could only play one or two systems and those are the teams we end up on those the seasons..

"He like he doesn't even have a set position right now. Right. Yeah. Because he was a running back and then a wide receiver. And now he's going to be some kind of offense of weapon. Right. And I think ultimately when you what you do with your first three rounds of picks. Is you say what? Do you do really, well, let's go ahead and take that and make that work at the NFL level and the Niners seemed to be especially in and around the third and fourth round and Namur with taking a player and then thinking that they can mold him. They have the quite frankly, arrogance to think that they can completely transform player into doing something that is new at a level that is much higher than they had to do it in college. And so far that has not been successful. And then when ends up happening is that player, unfortunately, get stuck in a loop. They get brought in to transfer to a different position or role. They don't do that. Well, so they moved back to a different role. And then they've only been doing that for your in the NFL, they don't do that. Well, and they keep ping pong and you end up with Jimmy ward or you end up with various more or you end up with these players or you end up with Solomon Solomon Thomas these players that you just don't have a fixed position for you. Don't let them learn their craft, and then you cut them or trade them because they're a bus when in reality. You didn't have a plan for them. And even if you did have a plan. It wasn't a good one because you should have just let them do what they do well and play to their strengths. And instead you thought to yourself with the CBA that limits all this practice time. I'm gonna go ahead and fix them. Look man, I wouldn't have been able to go to sleep at night. If we didn't get CJ Beathard on this roster. All right. I wasn't going to be able to sleep until day three of the draft. Yeah. It's it's it's it's tough. It's this would be a completely different conversation. If this is a player we're talking about taking with one of their two six round picks. Right where he very likely could have been available like this is a a top one hundred pick that you are expecting to take a player here that can come in and be an impact player for your team and be somebody that you can actually rely on right now Araj on a roster that is talented vision. And in a draft where there is a glut of talent in the second and third round. I mean, you think of the players that were still available when the Niners drafted this wide receiver. You look at the Cornerbacks. That were available a position of need for the forty Niners. And okay, we know the Niners don't value cornerback position as much as they do their front seven. They put a ton of resources in their front seven. But that doesn't mean that cornerback has a position doesn't exist. And so instead of going for a cornerback or instead of. Going for safety that can challenge Jimmy ward. They instead double down on a wide receiver. I get the position the players still confuses me. Yeah. I think that's that's what you really come back to you. Right. Is again, we bang the drum hard for coverage constantly and pass catchers again effect the passing game. This is better than them drafting a damn off ball linebacker in the third round for sure. And so I think that's why though you you are comfortable with deebo Samuel right while you're okay with that. You can say like, okay. Yeah. Let's let's deebo like I was really happy. That begins. Guests been brought like I'm not in a good place right now. Let's get back to talking about good stuff. Right. Well, I think you know, you look at deebo Samuel. And even though I think we would have argued all things being equal. If you have a cornerback that you like as much as you have deebo Sam as much as you like deebo Samuel there. Like, you take the cornerback. Because that's a thing that you need more direly right now on your roster. But you know, at the end of the day..

"It's a it's a balancing act because. For the long term health of the team. You don't want to be winning these meaningless games and ruining your draft status. But don't you kind of feel a little bit better, though, if you're winning with young guys who are getting better? In our showing that they can be pieces to the puzzle. So that to me that's a better option than just having nothing on your team. And losing these games and losing them with guys that you hoped could be contributors in the future, but are showing that they're simply not capable of it. So. I think this is a pretty good draft for the forty Niners. I mean, they're they're number one. Everybody can see as an edge rusher. And it looks like there's gonna be some options there, and I think number two. Is certainly not a bad spot to be is. There might be a couple of guys, you know, two or three guys in the top five who are who fit that need, you know, they don't need another, you know, run stopping defensive lineman. They don't need it other defensive tackle. They got a really good guy deforest Buckner, but how much better would he be if they had two guys two guys to upgrades edge as address yourself? I know exactly what you're saying. And believe me people within the organization think about it. But the way they're winning or at least the way they're being competitive is the right way because they're not winning with peer gar, sewn and Earl Mitchell and Alfred Morris and they're not winning with cold guys who don't figure to be around much longer. Yeah. A lot of the young guys have stepped up and that that win over the Seahawks draft position be damned that needed to happen. Talking to Matt maiocco are a forty Niners inside on NBC from NBC sports, Barry, by the way, you're listening to Gary and Larry on kmby are San Francisco ASEAN HD, two San Mateo, the sports leader. I saw your your story on NBC sports dot com about Antoine XM and open that maybe he didn't play one, you know, just for charity sake. The other day, the pay stub with pay to the amount of zero dollars and zero sense. Yeah. So, yeah, he, you know, and people we we can go on forever about salaries of NFL players what it actually means. But it was shocking to see the the pay stub of a guy who's basically paying playing for free because of a couple of penalties in fines, the first one was a twenty three thousand dollar fine. The God reduced a five thousand dollars. But the second fine was still considered a second offense. Even though the first one got reduced dramatically. So it's still considered a second offensive down carries with it. A fifty six thousand dollar fine. And for a guy who's baking, you know, before taxes forty one thousand a week which for over the course of seventeen seasons. That's that's not bad money. Of course. But. He he got zero in his paycheck from last week. And he he showed it to me. And I think I don't know if he laughed or not. But if he did it was through a grimace, and he's hoping of course that on appeal that that money gets reduced or he gets some of that put back into his final paycheck at the season. If he had real teammates, Matt. They cast him out. Yeah. You wanna you wanna? Really build divide for next year casts. Your mouth get all his planning on the field. Make sure he didn't play for free. He can get a hundred thousand locker room. Yeah. Unfortunately, there they're probably only a couple of guys who are capable of doing that. Jimmy Garoppolo is what and you know what what's what's the tone accent reached into his backpack? This show me his pay stub. I noticed. Jimmy Jimmy is five by the way. He does. He he got so quick. I haven't seen him pivot that fast in a long. Hey, Matt marquees Goodwin. It's been such a tough year for him on the field and off are the forty Niners still feeling like they've got that receiver that came onto the scene and came up just short of a thousand yards in two thousand seventeen I mean, I know for so many guys twenty eighteen was the damage just didn't happen for you this year, but you know, before last season marquees, golden haven't exactly been an elite receiver. So what what do you think the the expectations in the hopes for Goodwin in twenty one thousand nine hundred should be the the hopes are that the forty hours find somebody that can get on the field and not not that the team has to rely on marquees go into out there so much. I mean, he played a lot last season or that the forty hours hoped he would or thought he would and really the same for this season. When it started off, they see marquess Goodwin as a guy who, you know, brings a unique element that very few people league as in this at speed, but they also. See diminishing returns. Whereas if he's out there playing nearly every snap and a game. He's not the same threat. You know, he he's more apt to get injured, you know, all that running slows them down. So they would love to use him like like CNN use Taylor. Gabriel, you know, getting out there kind of spot duty. But when he's out there, there's a purpose. And when he's out there. He strikes fear into the defense because they know his late so fresh and he can run. So, you know, the forty hours to scale back what marquee does in the future with the thought that his production will be increased because of it would you look at what does defense has been able to do over the last few weeks. I remember there were mid way, you know, there were some people call it for solids head. But now you're looking at Fred Warner lead the defense with Buckner upfront. Several guys raved about Harris. After the even a sermon started putting them into mix. We're starting running back starting defense. Acquisition safety position is this legit. Or is this a defense that is playing no pressure football against teams that aren't really bringing their a game. Or I'm kinda torn like they look great the pieces. They look really good. But then the setting is a little bit deceiving. So whatever you think they fall with his defense. Well, I think that it's been throughout the season a pretty solid defense. The thing that they haven't done is they have generated turnovers, and that's what makes a good defense a great defensive. So they've been a good defense. You'll they don't give up big plays the defensive scheme is very sound in over the past three or four games. I've been playing teams that have a lot to play for and that'll continue on Sunday against the Rams. I mean, they played Denver at a time. When Denver was in the midst of the AFC playoff picture, they play Seattle when Seattle had. A chance to to clinch a playoff berth, and you know, ended up they got it the next week. They played the the bears a team that's still has hopes for I don't play up by. So it's not like they're they're playing teams that are just cashing in and have nothing to play for to me. This defense can be this defense can make a significant jump in one season. If they just add to better to better players in their nickel defense to rush on the edges. I mean, they've gotten a little bit from Ronald Blair they've gotten a little bit from caches harsh. But you know, if they get the number two number one number two number three overall pick and that person is a edge rusher. And they're not reaching for him. Well, boom, there's an immediate upgrade. And then if they go out and free agency, and they get Dante Fowler or or somebody like him, boom. There's another there's a there's an upgrade. And I think that will would pay immediate dividends for the team next season. So I think their defense is solid. I think it's sound the right now, they don't have the playmakers to come up with the football and generate those turnovers, and that's something that they've been severely lacking. Something that needs to improve next season in order for the team to make a playoff push a hundred percent. I mean. You know in the NFL it's all catered towards offense can't hit the quarterback all the rules are set up for scoring bend. But don't break get timely turnovers out. What makes a an elite defense, and they're still a little short in that area. And I know I wouldn't want to catch one of those Cassius Marsh round houses to the face. I know that Matt. Let me ask you this. Eric Armstead plan out the final year of his deal. We've seen Solomon Solomon Thomas on the interior of the D line. Maybe I think that's where he's best fit. I think we can clearly see that. Now, also what deforest Buckner is doing there. So they've got a little bit of depth there. What about Eric Armstead? Is you think there there's gonna be a contract offer in the works or is maybe Sunday going to be his last hurrah? Well, so they picked up the fifth year option cheese, but it's not guaranteed. It only becomes guaranteed on the first day of the new year. Okay. Which is March thirteenth. So they do have a decision to make. I'm under the impression that the coaching staff is not even torn on this. They wanna have back. They think he's an elite run-defender. The problem is at nine million dollars. Does John Lynch in the front office in Prague Murata, who does the contracts? Do they say, you know, nine million? That's a lot to pay for a guy who's you know, really a two down players at this point. So they do have the cap space, plenty of cap space. They can probably create more cap space by getting rid of pure Garcia in the off season. I think they bring him back because I wouldn't you do that. And you could they can try to work of a longer term deal in lower his his annual pay. I don't know that they would do that. Because. Armstead would really have no reason to do that. If you're going to get nine million dollars for for one season. You know, there's no reason to to come down off of that number less the team gives you more. So I don't know what the and to to redo his contract would be. So I think that's where you're at in for the long term planning, you know, it's a one year deal. And so it's not like be dead money. If he's not back on the team in two thousand twenty. So I think he comes back, but at the same time, I don't think it's a fait accompli are great stuff. Matt. A honestly you're one of the good dudes. And thank you so much. You're always good to us on the leader. Thank you for your time. And have a happy new you rather? We'll talk to you. Okay. Ryan Marcus have a great new year. Take care. "Rebound cab Smith breaks back out. Hell stop block. Go to overtime. Currently. Exactly. That's a bad mistake by JR Smith. Oh. Not say my bad. No. They might get his ass. Now. It's Murph and MAC on KNB are six eighty and streaming live at K n B R dot com. Rejoined by Cope's on many levels. First of all we're comparing like getting lucky in sports like that defensive hold on Quadra digs that saved the forty Niners yesterday. I was saying I was making the argument that you gotta you gotta get lucky sometimes in the warriors. Maybe where the ultimate beneficiaries of luck. When JR Smith just didn't know the score of the game. And that's also LeBron James's Instagram sound when Zane Gonzales the kicker for the Browns missed two and two field goals for LeBron's Browns. But as long as you point out, he's a known cowboy fan too. So he has a cowboy fan. I will be there with my guitar all summer start playing around seven are you head to head with the giants game? I mean, it is laughing making a joke. I would love to go. I have a freaking little league opening night fall on YouTube or something we'll fail. We'll set you up live insta-. I gotta figure it out though. I got to start practicing congratulate. Yeah. Let's could be fun. All right back to the forty Niners. We told callers to call in at eight eight can be are they won the game. And everybody's walking around like it's the nineteen nineties when they used to win and Jerry Rice used to be totally p owed after they would win all the time getting flashbacks now. So when the Niners win and everybody's angry. I mean, we do remember these nine last year. Right. See? But I think this is good though. I liked it. There's a standard, and there's an expectation out especially with Richard Sherman Sherman after the game said this win felt like a loss to me. And I liked that lets people know. Oh, this is not good enough Lowell Cohn. Took him on on Twitter and said, that's a bad message. You got to enjoy your wins in the NFL, of course, four zero eight by the way. Thank you looking glass. Covers brandy my life my love, and my lady is the see that's kind of the one a yacht. Rock song of all time. Derek in Fairfield checking in on the forty Niners. Derek morning. Hey, good morning. Murphy MAC, thanks for taking my call sports leader, the sports leader and thanks for being a outlet to the fans for almost thirty years. They can't be are. You guys are great. All right. Thank you guys are really on point this morning. I just want to break it down real quick hurry. But offensively the team did improving improving. Jimmy, Scott down a win is a win and NFL is tough special teams rock-solid as far as I'm concerned defense. That's what I want to talk about with Richard Sherman. I think Richard Sherman. He would shut down that whole right side. And you know, I don't know about the defensive coordinator, you gotta give guys a chance, but there needs to be appropriate. And what what what Mr Brown said five time SuperBowl champion, we know what should be going on as far as offense defense, coordinators coaches everything. And I think Solomon Solomon Thomas should be on the inside. That's where he played at Stanford the entire time again playing in and that's no good. I think you need to put them inside. But I think that with. The linebacker Ruben foster they need to you know, they're getting better. They're getting better. But yes, they need Ruben Derek. They do their linebacking play without Malcolm. Smith Reuben foster all even throwing a Brock coil in that kind of miss Brock coil yesterday, which I don't think they were in zone and Lee were missing some tackles twelve tackles. But sometimes you you run into tackles, but still yet Derek. So Robert solace sort. I mean, they did a decent job. Minnesota though. Yeah. They did. I think that. Going to get set off bitch. I mean, look at you know, I mean they could four touchdowns, you know, yesterday. Minnesota did. But deniers day did against him. I think it's you know on defense, though, we can sure it up. I mean, he's got to either, you know, put out and and say, hey, I'm gonna get picked on Richard Sherman in two days has been thrown out.
