The Left Wants to Remove Your Right to Raise Your Children
"Been running for a very long time that left wing jurisdictions are going to make it unbelievably difficult to raise your children. That there will come a point where all your kid has to do is mention, for example, that they disagree with you about same sex marriage or about transgenderism. And the process will begin, whereby you're removed from your child. It's going to make it impossible for religious parents to send their kids to religious day school. It's going to be impossible for parents to raise their kids in traditional way. Even in non traditional ways, as it turns out, there's an amazing story by Kelsey bollard from a friend of the program over at the independent women's forum that is well worthy of coverage because this is the direction in which the left would like to see the country move. They've already done this in places like Canada where they've made it illegal for you to tell your boy that he is in fact a boy if your boy says that he is a girl. So here's Kelsey reporting quote Jeanette Cooper never imagined she'd lose custody of her child. The 44 year old lifelong educator always considered herself a loving and responsible mother to her daughter, Sophia. But when at age 12, if he has suddenly claimed to be transgender, Jeanette was skeptical. Sophia had never exhibited signs of gender dysphoria. In fact, Sophia exhibited many more traditionally feminine behaviors and preferences than Jeanette ever had. To Jeanette, it didn't make sense. But Sophia insisted, not only she was trans, but that she was unsafe around Jeanette. What followed was an almost kafkaesque series of court proceedings and therapy sessions in which Jeanette's ex-husband's lawyers therapists and other individuals and institutions, supposedly concerned with Sofia's best interests, worked to erode Jeanne's most basic parenting rights, nearly three years later, Jeanette can't even visit the daughter she loves. She lives less than ten minutes away, but can only communicate with Sofia by the mail. All because she says Sophia is a girl. So what exactly is the story here? Well, it turns out that Jeanette is not exactly a traditional Christian mom. A Jeanette shaves half her hair, but not her legs, often doesn't wear bras, purchases clothing, regardless of whether they're in the men's or women's department. She jokes that if you subscribe to traditional gender stereotypes, she's the one people would think his trans. But that's precisely how Jeanette raised her daughter outside the confines of traditional sex stereotypes, which mistake number one. But she says, quote, I don't think there are any bounds on what it means to be a female other than to exist in a female body. There's nothing I have to do to become female. I simply am. Okay, well, this happens to be biologically accurate. She considers herself a radical feminist as Jeanette. She has voted Democrat in every election since she was 18. When addressing the discrepancy between her political beliefs and her views on sex and gender ideology, she has said, quote, the difference between libertarianism and anarchy is a fine line.
Joe Biden: 'We Have the Fastest Growing Economy in the World'
"12 Here is Joe Biden on the Jim O Kimmel show Kimmel on the Jimmy Kimmel show last night saying how we have the fastest growing economy in the world He really needs better advisers whispered in his ear here check this out Look here we are We have the fastest growing economy in the world The world the world Now that's not a mistake He said the world three times I had a joke Now after that I guess Biden's staff knowing he had screwed up Because as The Wall Street Journal notes U.S. GDP falls 1.4% as economy shrinks for the first time since early in the pandemic The economy is shrinking It's not only not growing it's actually shrinking So I don't know what he's talking about So the Biden team was like how do we take the edge off this This was obviously another Biden ism And someone backstage said I'll bet if we put this thing to a beat we can make kind of a rap song out of it So I'm hearing rumors this may be available on Spotify and iTunes later It's the new Biden song called yes we're lying but we have the fastest growing economy in the world It's going to be a hit You should go on AGT with this check this out Boom Here we are We have the fastest growing economy in the world The world the world the world the world The world the world the world Yeah baby The world Yeah Yeah that's tight That's tight I could hear Simon Oh let me tell you something so that's a wonderful such a gifted way to get your voice out there And then you got Heidi That was great man We love that You're so talented Then you got Sofia and how we don't want to shake anybody's hand Of course how he's got back the germ before

"Exhausting. I don't know what to say. Feelings don't pay the bills. Feelings don't get you your next job. Well, unless you're the guy that Jesse watters interviewed last week where he was saying, he feels like he doesn't want to work full time. So he walks dogs 20 hours a week. That's what he decided to do with his life, right? But you can't get through to these people, and it's so frustrating and irritating. Yeah, it's like it's talking to a brick wall or a record player and a lot of cases. And with a lot of options now, like the dog walker and you have Instacart and DoorDash and people can do these jobs and they're making decent money and just driving around all day. And because it's pain for their gas, it's not equating in their mind, the price of gas is going up. It's just, it's just a cycle of perpetual cycle. And we have to break it and we can't seem to. Perpetual cycle of stupidity, absurdity, whatever. This is like a therapy group. I want to thank both of you today because I'm starting to feel that all right about myself again. Literally, it's like the anxiety just kind of goes away by letting, you know, by all of us speaking about it. My heart's really sad. Yeah, I can't do it. Well, anyway. We'll work on Mike here. Just let's wrap up with a little bit of thoughts on in your kitchen. Why that title, first of all? Well, a woman's place is in the kitchen. So I felt like I had. My location on Twitter. It says the kitchen. I had to keep the theme. I had to keep that theme. So I have my little kitchen set up. And yeah, I just talk about culture. My first episode was about how feminism sucks and all just breaking down that narrative, but that's why I titled that. And I actually get a lot of good responses to it because I joked about it a year ago when I talked about starting the podcast and no one thought I'd actually title it that. And I did. And they were like, oh, you weren't kidding. Good for you. I love it. How did you get into I know we talked a little bit before about high school what happened? How did you get into politics and then obviously into the circles that you're in and social media and all so a 1000% crediting my mom with that? She used to drive me to school with breitbart on the radio. I'd listen to Steve Bannon every day. I listened to her him cousin..

"Sort of that dismissiveness. And turning kind of a complex problem by using a very simple solution. We've talked about this over and over. When COVID first hit, it was really scary. Everyone's going, oh my gosh, what's going on? Everyone stay in your homes and shut down businesses. But as it all unfolded, you started to realize, like, okay, there are certain subsets that are going to be worse off, right? More vulnerable. And instead of really handling it right, like in New York with our governor sending people from hospitals with COVID back into nursing homes and assisted living centers instead of being smart about it and having a complex solution, they just said everyone needs to order the paper mask and social distance, right? That was not enough for a lot of people in skilled nursing facilities and assisted living. But it wasn't even necessary for kids in school for God's sake. So we see this all the time. It's so easy to just name call. Do one thing for everybody. It's like punished the entire school for the one little idiot who pulls down the fire alarm, right? Punish everybody. Like we see it all the time, don't we Sofia? Yeah, we really do. And a lot of people like you were saying with the nursing homes, we should have just kind of protected seniors and that's what we should. I have a compromising im system and when people like to argue with me over COVID and say like, well, you're just young, you don't care. I'm like, I've had it twice. And I understand how bad it can be by their time was like great for me. I had to get Regeneron, which I was able to get very easily because of Ron DeSantis. Thank God. Because I couldn't eat or drink water or anything for over 72 hours until I got the Regeneron. The first time I got out I was coughing up blood. COVID is I take it seriously. It can be serious for people who are immunocompromised or who are older or just their bodies react to it differently. But that's no reason to quarantine the world and to put people out of business to ruin their lives to ruin their careers, all of it over something that for most people is asymptomatic or just the syphilis. And I think it gets worse because not only Florida like you said offer certain things that places like New York, it's like voodoo canceled, it can't have it, right? But it gets worse in California, New York and some of these states that just continue to double down no matter what the facts or the data shows. They just continue to double down. They continue to ruin businesses. We have our health department still going into restaurants and businesses, finding them, $300 for not following mask mandate. I mean, it's just getting to the point where you're almost hopeless. We do a lot of things in the community to try and fight this. Our partners have filed lawsuits against the county executives and the health departments. And we've done all these things. It's just until people smarten up and do what Canada's doing, right? I've had enough, I'm not doing it anymore until people fight back to the amp degree. It's just not going to stop because I think there's two things. Politicians are power hungry. We all know that. And I think certain people are just too far gone. They're just, you know, I don't know how you could possibly still be scared to death every day of your life. It's been two years. Yeah. I think it props to the honestly props to the left and those politicians in California and New York and props to the truckers in Canada because they all doubled down..

"And they're like, well, I'm like, no, you don't want to have a discussion with me over anything. You're not, why would you want my opinion on anything where to eat where to go? If you think on this terrible racist human. And that kind of will stop them, but it'll open the conversation up a little bit, but they still, then they're like, well, if I was taught wrong, what do I really know? And then they don't want to have a discussion at all. I think there's so much here. I mean, this is this could go on for two hours, I think our conversation. I think there's so much. What you just described, to me, it's so simple for people to just call you a name. It's the equivalent of having, say, ten people at the middle school, lunch table, and me. I'm the guy that had to sit alone. I walk up to the table and they all kind of spread out. There's no room here, right? There's no room for us to debate. There's no room for any of us to have a contrary opinion. I mean, Joe Rogan experienced it, right? He's got probably the biggest following around, brings on someone who just has contrary opinions to COVID vaccines, mask mandates, different opinion, and that he's getting lamb based. Artists, musical artists are pulling music off of the platform and so forth. There's all sorts of stuff. Which is one of the funniest things. Oh my God. I think it's well, this is to me. It just has a quick aside again. We do this a lot. To me, this is people jealous of Joe Rogan and his popularity and his influence. And so what's the best way to do it? Well, you know, he's more popular than Neil Young right now. So Neil Young says, I'm not going to let my music play on Spotify then. It's just ridiculous. What's absolutely infuriating about it is he's pulling his music for something that Joe Rogan didn't do wrong. He had an interview, right? He's pulling his music, yet every sponsor for ABC's the view will not pull their sponsorship because Whoopi Goldberg said that Jewish folks are not, you know, that was not a racist act that didn't kill them, right? I mean, it's just so outrageous. It's been make it up. It's frustrating. This is the other thing. Go ahead Sofia. I was just going to say that and the thing too, Whoopi Goldberg is her opinion was actually contrary to general belief. Whereas Joe Rogan's guest, the only reason that the COVID opinions were contrary to the narrative is because they've censored every single person that says it. Exactly. We can't help ourselves to talk about COVID, so we're gonna throw it at here. And joy Reid. Well, she's coming up later. So we can't help ourselves with the COVID stuff. But I mean, do you see this?.

"And once again, lots of nonsense out there. We've got all sorts of nonsense folks every single week. One of the things that makes our podcast good in our opinion is the guests we bring on. We bring on people that are in the news, prominent people. People who are making a difference by speaking out and actually I guess speaking about facts and in a common sense way. So we are super pleased right now to bring on the podcast host of in the kitchen Sofia carbone. Sofia, thanks so much for joining us today. Thanks for having me, guys. Yeah, we're excited. You're a Florida resident, formally of Vermont. He said, you know, what about four or 5 years ago? You went down to Florida. Great move. Yes. I grew up in the do not regret it. We're in the northeast and I was joking this morning. Here on Groundhog Day, punxsutawney Phil, stupid little groundhog. And I say he's a stupid little thing. He's a cute little thing, but stupid because every year in western New York, it's never an early spring. It's literally probably 18 more weeks of winter not 6 more like fellow, it says. But anyway, you've avoided most of the snow. You actually got a little bit of a cold front down down in Florida last week. Yeah, it's been freezing. We've all had our winter coats out. We've been laughed at by all the New York transplants that are here this year. But we're happy in our park as we've been trying to stay warm. I was going to say define freezing because I think that's a little bit down to, I believe technically freezing. But we had iguanas falling out of trees. So that's cold. It's not some of those articles. Some things I lied about it. Literally, every week, Mike and I, Mike and the home and auto area property and casualty insurance, I'm at a financial adviser. Literally, probably 5 to ten people every week who are.

"Away is, should you just have any guest and if the answer is no, you want to be more specific on who you have on your show, then who is that? Is it somebody who also serves your avatar? Is it somebody who has done exactly what you do? Is it your direct competition? Is it somebody who has been there and done that through the beginning and they resonate with your avatar? All of these things are great to be considered. And I'll let you know who I have usually as guests on this show. Generally, I want to have half of my episodes these are all the odd numbers, where I have a guest on the show who is a podcaster. Because I'd like you to hear from them, I'd like you to be connected, get the reason why they started what they've done well, what they've done poorly. So that you can learn through their experience. Instead of having just famous podcasters, I have a combination of podcasters that got famous podcasters that are barely into their journey and have learned a few things. And anywhere in between. Because I want you to be able to see on all sides of that. And then I want you to make sure that you're asking the right freaking questions to your guest. So this will be the last thing to share. You've got to ask the right questions to your guess. So you've got this guest. They've spent all this time to be with you. You've learned that they are the right guest, but maybe the questions that you're asking only support you. Or maybe the questions that you're asking only support somebody who has tons of experience. Or has no experience. But the person you want working with you has the opposite of that. For example, you're asking somebody basic questions, but you want to work with somebody who's next level. You're already not serving your avatar. Or vice versa. Your business directly supports people that are brand new into your industry. But the questions that you're asking are high level questions for people that have been doing this for a long time and already have some experience. One way to illustrate that is if you're using all of these certain terminology, that only somebody really experience would understand. If we can go back to real estate investing, there are things in real estate investing called ROI, IRR, and all these other acronyms, and not everybody knows what they are right off the bat. You may not have heard of them since this isn't a podcast on that. But just can you imagine if all I did was use these three letter things, MBR, TDM, LKG, the 5 R process, and you have not heard of any of this stuff. You probably are already thinking, this is not the right podcast for me. Because he's using terminology that I've never understood. And I didn't realize that this thing that he or she is teaching is so complicated. I didn't realize that I had to go and get a thesaurus just to start listening to his or her podcast. So you just want to make absolute sure that instead of trying to sound super smart, just sound relatable just explain the things in the language of your perfect listener. If you are speaking at a very high level with very detailed things and acronyms, you need to understand that the only person that's probably listening to that is somebody who's experienced. And you need to really identify who is it that you're attracting? Is it somebody experienced? Is it somebody with no experience? Does somebody in between? Now, find a way to speak to them, speak their language, speaking words in terms that they understand and help them get to the next level. So that's how I will end this episode as you probably know this is one O four, right? I think this is episode one O four. Episode one O 5 is going to be interview based me and somebody that are going to be just pouring into you. And I think it's Sofia, loreno. I'm excited about that episode. So I'll see you on the next episode. This episode brought to you by grow your show dot com, gross show lets you be the star of your show. A Year on From a Stolen Election, Alexander Lukashenko Remains in Power

There that almost no one trusted but more than a year after that the man often referred to as europe's last dictator alexander lukashenko remains in power and opposition leaders fed lonard seek sky is still in exile in lithuania with top officials in her political party sentenced to prison just yesterday. Even though observers say seeking of sky was the rightful winner of that election. So where do things stand now. And how are christians faring. World's european correspondent jenny lynn schmidt reports in the years since protests filled. "It has not been like that for us as time has gone on. We've just fallen more. And more in love and i life has just gotten rougier and rosier with her with mrs rose land. So that's really what. I wish for everyone out there. And that's why i wrote this book. Don't stick your dick in a blender how to meet a nice girl instead from a tantric husband with a better sex life than he you. 'cause i wish that the decent man of this world could get into meaningful relationships with the kind of women that they deserve and that requires kind of shift in mindset and a shift in behavior. There's all these different layers of mainstream types of mindsets that society imbues us with the the Promiscuity the feminism the nihilism the hedonism all these mainstream type of mindsets. And then there's a bunch of counterculture mindsets that are prevalent in kind of the the pickup artist community. Kind of thing on line. And even some of these counterculture mindsets are preventing you from finding the love joy and meaning that you seek and in my book i break all of this down and it is over one hundred thousand words which is actually quite kind of long for a relationship book most book. Most books about dating and relationships are shorter than that. They're kind of shallow. And i wanted to treat this subject with the thoroughness that i thought it deserved and i wanted to get kind of like granular on some of the techniques and strategies at life hacks and shortcuts. That have made such a big difference for for me at least in having a really fulfilling Beautiful relationship that if uses the rest of my life with a zest and joy and meaning. So i do hope that you check out the book and that you drop me a message if you're here in sofia and you're kind of a guy that's into the personal growth kind of thing. Drop me a line like i said i am not going to be doing a Wing manning but. I might like to make friends with like minded types out there again. I'm jonathan with limitless. "When i was a single guy who was such an improvement for me at least over the hanging out in the wild chaotic clubs. Let's move on to talking about the culture. Bulgaria is one country where not drinking. You really will feel like an outsider. Every time i asked a bartender for a non alcoholic beverage. They looked at me. Like i had just ordered a glass of abortion baby blood or something really terrible like that. When i first arrived in sofia i befriended too young bulgarian guys who could be loosely. Described does hostile employees and they were your typical piece of shit. Dudes who talked. We'd drank beer and smoked cigarettes all day and night yet in the four days. I stayed at the hostel. These two guys must have had about six different cute young ladies over to hang out. They watched really stupid movies and pop music videos. Four hours and hours with these girls and this makes me up suspect that Bulgarian girls are less susceptible to grown man game and respond better to party boy game. You'll have to do a little bit of experimentation there. Bulgarians are fairly ethnocentric..

"I only usually get from the most model esque ladies hanging out in the swankiest of venues. Even got this same kind of blase vibe from the fifteen or so sets that. I did at a drum and bass rave that i went to with friends. And you might think that the the plur chicks would be a little more excited about talking to exotic cross eyed guy like me while rolling their metaphysical balls off the but they they weren't they were not disappointment again. The rave was pretty stark contrast from the electronica festivals of my native denver. Colorado there was no lasers or cool event design. No go go dancers. Nobody dressed up in fabulous. Angel costumes know cuddle piles on the floor of shirtless strangers giving each other massages and while there were some cuties there. They definitely weren't dressing to impress anyone at there was just a loud music very loud music and lots of flashing strobes. I also found important point one opener that does not work. Well here is asking if she speaks english. Don't do that counterintuitive. To the way. I'd like to approach. The sats are more likely to hook if you roll up on them just completely disregarding their mother tongue i mean unless you're learning bulgarian and you're you've got some competence with it. Just roll up in speak english to them. After going out clubbing. About a dozen times. I concluded that mainstream nightclubs were not going to be my niche in sofia. Now that i think about it the ad plus approaches. I've done on the hi fi dance floors sophia. The yielded surprisingly few results. Contrary to a lot of experiences in columbia and denver colorado my most fruitful sets have not occurred in loud raucous nightclubs but in salsa clubs meet ups smoking areas and patios bulgarian. Men and women are just not big fans of touching each other while dancing at least in the mainstream clubs from a pickup artist perspective. The tradeoff four hanging out. For hours and hours in mainstream clubs blasting hip hop boere rated tone. The trade off is the likelihood of rapid keno escalation on the dance floor and in eclater wear girls are opposed to being dry hunt and groped on the dance floor by perfect strangers while shaking their asses to the misogynistic lyrics of the latest. Little wayne club banger. In that kind of culture. I see a whole lot less reason to spend time in mainstream clubs salsa or latin dancing turned out to be where the opportunity was in sofia. And i'll explain to you. Why salsa clubs are a big win for pickups first of all guy to girl proportion. X x chromosomes often outnumbered x. y. in salsa clubs in salsa clubs. There's almost always a free young lady sitting there bobbing her head. Just waiting to be asked to dance. I've never had to wait more than ten minutes in between sets in a salsa club. I've yet to experience a latin club. That is anything resembling a sausage fest. Secondly insults eclipse.

Skinned colombiana intel. She opened her mouth and spoke quite english to a little bit of comparison so most of the eastern european woman. Stereotypes apply here. They are feminine and pleasant relatively submissive and they take extra care of their appearance. But you're not going to. You're not gonna find them. Exploding with a ton of personality. My wife is kind of a rare in this respect. And they also aren't going to be really chatty like a modern western women of anglo extraction are and the bulgarian. Women often are not going to have a lot of money so yeah most of the stereotypes apply here. Stereotypes exist for a reason at least in sofia the women while not nearly as feminist essay german women which are german women. Sorry i just threw up in my in my throat. A little bit. German guys understand so Bulgarian women are Modern women they speak english well. Most of them attend college and are eager to discuss their careers or politics or world events however they are more family oriented all of them come from nuclear families. And that's a really good thing for the guys out there that don't went to hashtag. Don't stick in a blender for the guys who went. Keep their desks away from the blenders. You want those women from nuclear families and they. They seem to respect and love their families. You don't you don't run into a lot of women that are really angry with a patriarchy. I met one single mother that i can think of originally in the article. I said zero single mothers. Since then i did meet one single mother. I'm sure that there are. I'm sure there are more here in a country of six million people but in my social circle. Yeah i think. I think just a single circle Single mother that i've ever met. That's that's a pretty good sign. They are a little religious. They attend eastern Orthodox church service a couple of times a year but most of them are not a pious practicing christians. There are nominally nominally christian. So if you're a christian than it's a than this is a fertile ground for you. I don't meet a lot of married. Young women as i have elsewhere in eastern europe. Yes some other places in eastern europe like a super call Co working space and there was like a twenty one year old guy that worked at the co working space. Twenty one year old ukrainian guy and then there was a young lady of around the same age and they were both married. It like a pretty young age and it seems to me that The bulgarians will get married in their mid twenties. their late twenties. They're getting they're getting married. Not exactly a exactly a good trend. I don't think so. Ukrainians age better. What i wrote at the time. I'm not sure about that Although i will say that you do encounter you will see that. Most bulgarian women over age thirty five are still relatively attractive and skinny. If you're considering a long term investment like if you're considering a long-term relationship or getting married you do want to take a look at her mother or take a look at maybe the other women in her family and the hut will give you kind of like an approximation of what's going to be your bad in twenty years if you end up sticking to gather here in bulgaria something i found from living here..

"Dot com. It was banned on amazon because of the political correctness police. Even though i don't say anything terribly offensive or misogynistic in the book they banned it there so you have to get it direct from me over on limitless mindset dot com and for eight ninety nine you get a pub book the mobile book which you can actually read on a kindle device and you also get the audio book which is a long detailed audiobook their chapters in there that you're definitely going to want to listen to twice okay so with that out of the way. I also have to mention that you are going to want to check out this article. Overrun limitless mindset dot com originally. Put it up on medium and it kind of went viral there but then there's some updates to it. I wanna make my articles accurate. So i keep it accurate. They're unlimited mindset dot com. I've got some photo imagery of the stuff that you're going to want to check out. So yeah you're gonna come to sophia or bulgaria to try to seduce women like i did. Then you wanna be wanna be prepared. Preparation is the the key to luck. What is the same kind of expression on that anyways. So like i said i got paid more got laid more more lessons learned more good memories more friendships in sofia. Aminu tell you why. So as opposed to crediting this to sofia itself were her self or some up unquantifiable metaphysical influence or self-help principal. I know exactly why. My time in sophea was so productive in the way that i wanted it to me. It's because i know. Fab and i know boom used for the majority of my time there. I completed thirty days of no fab. And ninety days of no booze and abstaining from these two vices simultaneously really is a synergistic life hack for productivity and happiness as a man. These two habits really are symbiotic win. i'm no fab ing. I'm way more motivated. Go out Make friends and meet girls but no fab being for along time doing it for like thirty days that requires some serious mental discipline which is all but impossible. If you are even immoderate social drinker. So i do urge the jets out there if you're gonna do a international skirt-chasing mission if you're gonna fly into a country or city for two weeks a month maybe longer with the intention of trying to get a girlfriend there do know fab and no booze for the duration of time there. And you're gonna have just a well of motivation to draw upon which you wouldn't if you were perhaps Fagging and boozing as you would normally trust me trust me gives us a shot. Give it give it at least two weeks. I mean if you're going to spend the time and money to fly to a new place to try to meet women you might as well know fab and no booze anyways. I mean it's gonna save you money right and then with the possible caveat. That like if you're on a date and it's going well then maybe you want to have a drink or two with her but otherwise if it's you and your buddy you're you random guys why why i i don't see the point. Okay so let's move onto discussing the women which is what you're really interested in right. So bulgarian women are aesthetically. A whole lot. Closer to my fantasy girl and i found my fantasy girl. My dream girl here. So we're bulgarian..

"Costa but as a nomadic seducer in sofia bulgaria i got laid bore got paid more established better friendships and left with more good memories and lessons learned then other cities wear. I've spent similar amounts of time and in this video. I'm going to break down. Why but first of all. I'm jonathan roseland with limitless mindset author of don't stick your dick in a blender how to meet a nice girl instead from a tantric husband with a better sex life than you you so. This video is a update to this article. That i wrote years and years and years ago seducing sofia bulgaria and it turned out to be one of my most popular articles. Go figure there's a lot of interest in seduction in this great city. So i'm going to go through the article here there. Some updates to it. There's some things that have changed for the skirt-chasers of sophea and there's some things have changed for me notably as i seduced. Sofia sofia seduced me. I got and have remained married to a a beautiful witty classy intelligent joyful to be around bulgarian girl pretty much every day you can find us. Strolling the center of town walking her little ferocious pomeranian. If you see us you can come up and say hi. I don't mind at all. Just a yeah. Just look for hey guy with a pretty bulgarian girl and a little pomeranian fluffy little dog somewhere around the center of the city. And that'll be us. We wouldn't mind chit chatting with you for just a minute and couple things. I want to run past you first before we get into. This article adds an eat. Your digital no mad pickup artist guy. I encountered dozens if not hundreds of men that traveled to exotic places and then they failed to get girlfriends. They failed to get dates. They failed to get laid. This kind of pathetic really most of those guys out there travel in trying to chase the skirts. They're kinda pathetic and they're not getting. They're not getting what they what they want. they're not getting what. They've traveled such a long way to try to get. And so. that's why if you wanna do things a little bit more intelligently. I wrote a book for you. It's called don't stick your dick in a blender and in that book it's a long book and there's at least one chapter that you really should read and that is a deep dive chapter breaking down. Just what all of these guys are doing wrong. Who travel all the way to other countries. And then don't kick girlfriends don't date don't even get laid. I do a deep dive chapter explaining what they are doing wrong on their international skirt chasing missions. So if you if you are going to spend the time and the money to come to bulgaria or anywhere in eastern europe with the aim of seducing the local ladies you're at least going to want to read the chapter which is entitled dating and marrying exotic foreign women do that. Please save yourself A lot of time a lot of money and at least get that chapter out of the book..

Na member fdic. we're back with a thank you in a farewell episode for our host modeling kelly safia. It's her last episode. On shortwave today. How we're in full name territory right now. We are so beyond full name territory. Mattie i mean being on this podcast with you has been a total delight. I'm not the only one who feels that way. So here's a recorded message from producer thomas lou. About one of the first stories. He was assigned. when he joined shortwave. How do you. How do you manny one of my favorite memories working with you. Is that when. I first joined the team. You had a big confession. The fact that you do not know what a rainbow. What's so naturally you ass the new kid you the answer and just that simple act and also you push me to be my most authentic self doing a rainbow related queer related it. It just allowed me to be so bad and feel so. Welcome so thank you. So much thomas i love you so much. He literally wrote a question. Emily that i tracked and we kept. That was if you run through a rainbow. Well it make you more queer. We got that in the show so one of the greatest things we've ever settled. I mean if you've been listening to our show for awhile you know that we are a small very collaborative team Just as willing to talk about face mites and rainbows as we are about climate change on the latest cova news with reporters on the science desk like these things exist in the same universe in our show you know true. It's unique i mean. When we were piloting shortwave back in two thousand. Nineteen you know. We wanted our show to capture the diversity of what it means to do science celebrating science while also being critical of it. And its legacy. Yeah i mean. I think the key for me with shortwave is who we choose to book for show The care we put into choosing guests and building those conversations. Yes and two people who know that process intimately are here with me right now. Want to bring in producer brett hansen. Hey mattie hatred and producer rebecca ramirez a torino it. And they've not only reported for shortwave. But along with thomas lou they are the magical makers weaving this whole podcast together. Artists things emily so matty rebecca the episode. That i wanna talk to you about is can you guess cannot. There's been too many. It's the kaley fox episode. Oh yes when you think of resources on earth what do you think of. Maybe you think about water or oil timber. Perhaps what about data. Our data. The information stored in our dna genome sequence. I chose this episode. Because it's so many of the things that i love about you and the show that we built together. No it's you passing the mic to a scientist of color and talking about an actual science but early on in his career. He noticed this research left a lot of people out like the one time he realized none of the participants in a study where polynesian and that made me extremely upset. It was like the boat had left for the future. Predictive and preventive medicine and my people weren't included on the boat. And i remember like and no one from our audience would know this. But it's actually the second draft of an episode that we piloted way before the show even launched yup and because of that it speaks to among other things. Your grit your passion and honestly your stubbornness okay. Okay look talk. it's true. It's true. And i have so much that i will say to you off air but i just want really quickly say that i wouldn't be half the producer i am with even half the confidence that i have this early in my career. If it weren't for you believing in me so wholeheartedly so immediately when you're good you're good dude and so i just love you so so much tutoring out to do and before i get even more sabi. I mean a lot brit. Take it from here. Thanks. you are an artist. do not forget. Do not forget your artist. But i love you. I'm gonna miss you. Hey mattie brett here so there's yeah you. Are you ready so matty. There's one episode that i worked on with you. That was really special to me because it felt particularly intimate and also celebrated one of my favorite science beats queer love. of course of course. I know exactly which episode talking about i think. The episode was a conversation with tam o'shaughnessy about her decades long partnership with sally ride the first american woman in space. Yeah here's a little clip. You know. I almost have a picture of sally in my mind standing in our living room and la hoya and she's got on you know like an old t-shirt this kind of pulled over to one side. Her hair is kinda combed but kind of wild. You know a pair of shorts and barefoot. She'd love going barefoot and she's just you know i just love. I loved looking at her when she was like that when she wasn't intense and working hard or you know but she was like that a lot and i just i loved that you know that she could be there with me in each moment. It's just so sweet. It's just i also knowing that sally ride hates us you know. And she doesn't want to wear them. Yeah you know mattie i've actually re listened to this episode a lot since we aired it and i think it's because it's kind of comforting you know this reminder that behind all of the science we cover are actual people yes people with whole lives full of rich human experiences stuff like falling in love coming out grieving feeling joy just like us. They're just like us. They're scientists are just like us mattie. You're even one of them. And i gotta tell you maddy. I'm so glad that this show brought us together You know to tell some of the more intimate stories which we've gotten to do a lot of together But it's also because it's how we discovered our friendship and that is the most special part of honestly i'm tearing up. I'm crying queer tears over here britt. Listen tears are welcome here. I love you..

Hello terry at. Espn thank you so much for having me today. Oh it's our pleasure. Thank you so much for taking the time to to us. People that have been on the voice. I'm sure lots of people know you from voice talks and we'll get to that shortly but first could you please take a moment and introduce yourself and tell us what you do. Yes okay so scipio. Now i'm from gekas venezuela but i i leave in new york city and i've been working google for the past seven and a half years and then for the past three years. I've been working on the google assistant so currently what i do. I do global product partnerships. So what that means is that we really work with our product team on our engineering team along the product cycle so say that we wanna launch a new product right a i just wanna validated in the market. We wanna see that our partners and developers would be interested in implementing days. So we go to them. We take the prototype or idea and we started collecting feedback. And we'd go to make sure that everything that we're building things that developers really want that our partners are interested in building. So then we move onto the next phase when we wanna do maybe like an alpha or we call it an early access program and we tested with a few partners and then we really launch it. She how it performed in the market and then we can go for scaling so we really aren't. My job. never gets boring. I feel like embry cycle. Every day is a little bit different depending on where we are in the product cycle. Say really been enjoying working in the voice tech environment for the past three years amazing and so what got you excited about voice to begin with so many things okay. So the first one was that. I'm just i like using to engage with technology so for a long time people know me. I use a lot like speech to tax. When i'm texting people or i tend to send a lot of voice notes instead of typing suggest. Voice is always something that i've enjoyed when the first google assistant came out..

Scott Disick Says Sofia's Relationship Ultimatum Caused Split
"Let's get into the car dash in sofia. Richie had a wild ultimatum. In case you missed it. During the season premiere of keeping up with the kardashians scott revealed that sophia forced him to choose between her. In courtney i thought i would give it a try and make her more of a priority. But then even when doing that. I feel like she just started wanting to like push courtney out and she was like. I don't want to share you as a boyfriend with courtney and then. She literally said with an ultimatum. You have to choose me. Or courtney and courtney is coordination my kids. It's a unit a package deal. And i said i was like. How could you even want that for me. Talk about us ridiculous in which is ridiculous to ask me to choose between me and your ex when the kids connected to the. I'm gonna take advocate it. Because normally i agree with you however one of the i was watching the show last night and it is true that kevin then brought up really good points. And even chris saying it's they're not your usual x.'s. right they take trips together or sofia's on And they do a lot together with each other more often than the average. And if i with the guy for three years not like three months three years and you're still not inviting me to certain family events and i'm not feeling as though i'm welcomed into this family unit that you have. I guess some type of wet. I may not put down ultimate them and say it's her or me but i may say you need to start making me more comfortable and inviting me or more. I know you're just gonna invite me. He just gonna invite me out

How Jenny Lorenzo Became the Internets Favorite Cuban Abuela
"Jenny. I'm almost have to admit not accustomed to seeing you as jenny. nobody else. Is that what you look like. I want to take a listen to the first video that you ever did. Hold up today. Go to pick up one three gilead of better sex for three going on meeting me gomez day metal supplement. Okay iressa on. And off for the love of god. So here's what's interesting. It's the first video that willa was ever featured in for buzzfeed but she insisted prior channel of mine called aggressive comex and a boiler was first introduced as a superhero Because this was a channel that was predominantly white male audience. I talked about video games and comic books and movies. Sifi strictly me being nerd and then at some point i did a movie review of the film kick ass and me and my writing partner for the show was to the cuban well because he knew that i kind of already did that sort of thing and so it was the same terrible wig that you do see in that buzzfeed video i think i through like baby powder on it to make gray and she had like this painted red mask over her eyes with like a fly swatter as were weapon and then eventually it made no sense for the channel. But you can tell that. I yearned to make this sort of content. It is interesting that something that is as big as a bulla takes that many iterations to get there like. I think there's a lesson in there for any creative. That is not necessarily that. The opening gambit is where you land now never being a nerd is as much a part of your identity and culture as being cuban. It seems did you see characters on tv or in media. Who has a latino nerd you identified with not really wasn't until recently that i started seeing that representation especially in a show like no spooky because these are a bunch of latino gods that are into the macab and they're a bunch of nerds and outsiders because that's a big part of me to what most approximated your own experience i would say. A lot of that was in black television. You see urkel you see. Carlton banks a lot of these like nerdy people of color on tv. Maybe sometimes says from that seventies show me. He had like a bit of a nerdy flair to him. I feel like latinos on tina's specifically were usually depicted as like very sensual loud colorful. You know things sofia vergara in modern family that was the typical depiction of what was and. So that's why. I had a hard time in the audition room. I didn't fit any mold of what especially miami casting paint a picture for me of what auditioning in miami looked like. It was a nightmare for me. I would show up and for those who don't know me. I'm like five feet pasty skinny little shits and he but then i have this like deep voice. No one knows what to do with me. So then i shopped to these auditions and they were usually little late sorta lottery or like colgate but then i would be up against women my age but they looked like supermodels and then there was me so then i just never felt like. I was sexy in us to sell toothpaste. I remember my very very first universal casting audition. It was for the florida lottery. And i had to be like this sexy. You're even an award. These like plastic clear stripper heels. I don't know. I don't know what i was thinking but i was nineteen years old. The silver lining of this terrible experience is that emotive issue to become a creator. I was tired of this. I was so tired. And then i did a couple extra work. Gigs was extra on. Burn notice and dexter. And guess what. I was scantily clad and tacky his hell because that's what they thought of people in miami. All of these shows always depicted people from miami in the same way and it always took place in south beaten always involve drugs and sex and violence. Which is another reason why. I'm working so hard today. To eventually sollers show. That depicts miami in a more authentic way so yeah it pushed me to go to school and learn how to do everything else on my own.

What's the deal with Framing Britney Spears on HBO?
"Framing britney. This documentary had everyone above this weekend. I watched it last night. Kind of inbetween. Basically i'll be honest. I started watching it after the halftime show During the superbowl. 'cause i didn't really care at us home with my family and i wasn't like at a party or betting or anything but i'll get super bowl too but first of all Of course we've all heard about free brittany. Which has been this movement that her fans kinda started. There's been you know articles podcast and everybody talking about it. Of course. I follow her along with twenty seven other million people on instagram. And it's been weird. It's been weird watching her this last year. You gotta watch it. It's on lure fx. But it's just really they kind of just go through her whole career with in two hours which could have been. You know an eight part series. I think and we all remember when she came up. It was the mickey mouse club. And then all of a sudden she was really sexy. I remember when Shawn and marlon wayans were hosting the mtv awards and she came out and she did her sexy that goes with the snake and their joke which they came off came up with on the spot which is a great story is from minnie mouse club to the strip club and it was one of the funniest lines ever but now in watching that you're like wow you know this. This girl was suffering We made her suffer because we did jokes like this. We are obsessed with her sexuality. Diane sawyer was you look back at that interview which they featured and really putting her in the hot seat you know. Jay leno Doing jokes about her. We did jokes better. When chelsea lately started we. It was a great time for late night. Television also. Because right around that time the writers guild strike happened and we weren't writers guild so we were the only Late night show that got to stay on air. Every day was britney spears story. And it i. It just seemed like she was going. You know kinda fun crazy like she disliked to gas stations a lot and walk around barefoot and the paparazzi. Were there at the time. Because at that time there was no instagram. And that is how paparazzi and magazines made money is to get the shots of brittany. Brittany was the highest paid celebrity photos and then of course she married Kevin federal line but it was all just email. I just remember being doing chelsea lately and there was talk. We'll her kids taken away. And i remember sitting there going. There's no way she's going to lose custody of her kids. Come on i mean very few mothers do and she's she's going through a little struggling time but it's mostly because these paparazzi's are falling everywhere. Well you guys probably know this then. The dad got a conservative ship. And a lot of people after watching this special. This documentary said where was the mom. Why wouldn't the mom because parents divorced at that time. Try to get the conservative ship. Jamie her father was in and out of jobs Former drug addict. I believe maybe not drug out excessively alchoholic and So why would he be the person in charge. The thing is is. I think he was the first one to go to lawyers and try to get this into the works. And she was in a fifty one fifty at a mental institution when all this paperwork was done and the judge signed it. And now it's been you know fifteen years or something that this has been going on for and right away after this was done she started doing sitcoms again. Of course shortly after that she got her residency and she was making three hundred and fifty thousand dollars a night doing that show and then she left planet hollywood. And she now she's gonna do another huge residency at this new stage that they built her at the mgm and they do this big livestream thing and she comes up and then she just like and walks off talking to talk to reporters. She's not going to say anything. She's not going to do a song and shortly after that. She did it announcement saying my father is sick. And i'm not going to be performing. I'm going to put this residency off and that was really bizarre. People like is he sick. And i really don't know what the now looking back. I'm like i really don't know if he was sick of that was just her way out because now it looks like she in fact knew that the only way to get out of this conservatorship get her freedom back from her father was to stop working and stop making money and i. I would love to see what happened the day she was like you know what what the hell am i doing. Aren't going to sign up for another two or three year contract with them performing every night making all this money which. I don't get to choose how i want to spend the money. I don't get to get in the car and drive. I don't get to make a reservation and stay in hawaii on a whim without checking with twelve other people. Screw this you know. And she goes to her place in malibu during covert or wherever she is. Jesus been doing these weird instagram posts. Where her voice has changed. It's not the same voice. You're seeing these interviews on the documentary. And she's like ok guys. I've heard that a lot of been wondering what i'm going to do for the new year one. I'm gonna try to finish a pilates class to. I'm gonna try to meditate three. I'm going to try to eat better. And for i'm going to try that ice cream diet. And when she's doing it she's like it. Looks like she's definitely reading it whether it's a cue card but somebody else's there and the fact that she said i heard you guys not having reading your comments and one thing in the new year you guys asked me was Of course photos are weird. The makeup soy's like various mudgee. She's always wearing these crop tops. Sometimes she's dancing and you know i just really hope that I hope the mother gets involved. I hope that that the judge is able to watch this. Because i think when the judge granted this he was watching all the crazy news everyday. Let's just like the rest of us and this weird sam. Lufti was after an eye at the time. I was four the conservative ship. I'm like gosh. I don't want other people to take advantage of it this way. You know the data's there the other people are there to make sure that she stays healthy. No weirdos get around her. She's able to have visitation with her boys. But now after all these years it does seem really wrong and I think that this is going to be the catalyst to make whatever judges involved to open his eyes and maybe reconsider This conservative ship for

On your favorite podcast provider and listen to our hundreds of episodes. Yes so as ron mentioned today we wanted to spend some time talking about our twenty twenty. One a. i. Market predictions and forecasts at the beginning of every year. We always you know. Take a step back and look at what happens over the past year and where we things going moving forward so acog melinda in case this is your podcast or you're just starting to listen to us. We're an ai. Focused research education and advisory firm and we really focus on market intelligence. We cover all over twenty thousand vendors in the space so we have a great pulse of what's going on and we work with both public and private sector companies so we really have a holistic view of the space so we wanted to spend some time today reflecting back on what we're seeing in the market and then making some predictions and forecasts about where the market will go in twenty twenty one so one of the first predictions that we have. These are not in any sort of ranking order. They're just how he laid out this podcast. So we have that worldwide adoption of artificial intelligence and machine learning. We've seen it growing at a very high rate and were predicting that this is not going to stop anytime soon. I mean so. There's a lot of indications that show that we are moving towards much more use of what we call the seven patterns of ai and we will link to them in the show notes but one of the things about is that it is a fairly generic term general term which corresponds to making machines intelligent and doing the things that humans would otherwise. Do you ask people as to what they're specifically doing. It's usually gonna be one or more of these seven pattern so it might be a recognition system or it could be a conversational system or could be something doing predictive analytics or trying to find patterns or anomalies or it could be trying to develop the hyper personal profile. The hyper personalization profile of you. So that it can no to tailor things better for your needs or it could be an autonomous system systems that are meant to operate with little or no human interaction. Or perhaps we're doing something we're trying to have. Machines find the solution to something you goal driven systems and when you talk about it from that perspective it's like yeah chat bots are growing recognition. Systems are growing the use of machine learning for patterns and anomaly detection as well as predictive analytics. that's growing. You know maybe hyper personalization. Maybe that that's been a little bit slower to grow. We are definitely seeing a lot. More autonomous stuff whether or not. They're all entirely successful a whole other story. But we are and we're seeing of course a lot more use of even goal driven systems and part of the reason why we say this is that there is some fud in the market Other analyst firms in particular are saying that they're seeing some large number of data science projects that are failing. You know gardner. Says eighty seven percent of data. Science projects failed to deliver on their for their executive sponsors and seventy percent of machine. Learning models lose relevancy overtime. Well these are. There is some truth to that. Yes models do have what's called drift and then later what we're going to talk about in this. Podcast is the growth of technology area technology market with an ai called l. Ops that specifically addresses this area of models overtime lose their relevancy. But that's just like the thing let's like saying well. I built an app in one thousand nine hundred ninety six therefore i need to update it in the year. Two thousand three two thousand eighteen thousand thirteen two thousand eighteen. Yeah yes. that's what. Technology and technology doesn't standstill. Say all the fact that you have to update it means. It's not like the fact that you have to up it means you're actually using it and the needs for that. Continue to grow. If you didn't care you just throw it away so
