John Zmirak: Pro-Choice Arguments Are Dead, Now We See the Demons

"So last time you and I talked. We just found out about the overturning of roe V wade. And in the new America, that's in the wake of that. I shaved the beard that I had grown protests roe V wade. No, I saved it because it's a hundred. You put the beard in a coffin and is it on your desk? No, I nailed it all to Nancy Pelosi. Oh my God. So we do live in a different America. We have to realize it's also a little bit of scarier America. Just the way I've got a piece of stream dot org called the pro choice arguments are dead. Now we see the demons. John, John, hang on. I saw that you wrote that article. And before I'm glad you wrote it, because that was precisely what I have been thinking. It has never been clearer ever. If you want to really see what is going on, but you of course wrote an article about this, but I've been thinking about this incessantly how it's become so clear. So go ahead. It's that stream dot org. Yes, yes, thank you. If I said that, I spent most of Friday reading Samuel le those majority opinion. First, the summary, and then the whole thing. And then I tried to Robert's concurrence, but so bored, I wanted to pull my own head off and kick it down the field like a soccer ball. Then I read clarence Thomas's concurrence with this great. But what you learn from reading it is there are no arguments for abortion being protected in the constitution. What's more than never work? Roe V wade was garbage. Just total. Total

The Real Reason Companies are Taking a Stand on Abortion Rights

"Sign as Tucker Carlson beautifully put it last evening in his monologue, a woman is less likely to quickly respond to an email about some sort of internal issue happening in the company if she has to put her kids down to sleep, or she has to feed them dinner, or pick them up at soccer practice. Moms do not make as good of corporate loyalists as Goldman Sachs, Nike or Netflix would like them to be. Now, I still think they make phenomenal workers, but they need to be moms first. That's what actually matters for your society and your civilization. Now, one of the kind of circumstances we're seeing is a generation of millennial women that are in their late 20s and early 30s that have pursued their career first. I'll get married later. I'll find a boyfriend or a husband later in life. And that very well might work out for you. Who am I to say differently? But I am one to look at generational trends and trajectory that largely as more of a generalization than a rule that has created a deeply unhappy demographic of hyper successful corporate women. Of women that are in corporate life, I should say, but they're deeply unhappy. Why? It's because they've been told to just get the next paycheck, stick with cats and dogs, get an above Azure part above average apartment, live in a very expensive urban center in metropolis, focus on your career at all costs and do not whatever it takes. Get married or have children. Now, some women get fine fulfillment in that for the rest of their life, fine. Most do not. And so make no mistake that corporate America that is pushing forward these I'm going to pay you to go get an abortion. I'm going to pay you if I'm Amazon to go out of state or even Tesla deeply disappointed to hear that from Elon Musk's company. I'm going to pay you to go out of the state to go basically remain loyal to our company. It's not about abortion, it's about profit

Lance Christensen: Why Do Education Adminstrators Force Medical Decisions on Children

"But I don't mind if a parent wants to make that decision for their child But what we're talking about is parents being stripped of those decisions Here in California we're about to pass a law that it's passed out of committee now It's got one more step to go before it comes law that a child can consent to give the COVID vaccine at school without their parents knowledge or permission Lance your child do your children your children fully aware of your family's medical history or what's in their file No not their own I mean I have kids who do regular medical treatments for asthma and allergies Do we get regular injections for You've got to be very conscientious That's how he thinks mixed with other things And you can't just go out and blindly put things into that bodies Remember to these teachers and administrators at schools that are so in favor of this they're not the ones that will be with the children during the summer or at night when something goes wrong They're not the ones that are going to be rushing into the hospital or trying to schedule an appointment or try to figure out the billing and costs when all these things come full fruition So if a pair wants to make that cost benefit analysis and they decide that this is the direction we go well that's fine It's on them But the second that we start coercing and that's most of these parents are having to sign these forms under duress These their children want to just live a normal life They just want to play soccer and go on activities and field trips But they're being or even in California They just want to walk at graduation They participated fully in class but now they can't walk to graduation because we have people who are dictatorial in their approach And frankly I don't understand why especially a lot of the education administrators feel like they've got to force a medical decision over something that has no impact on these children

How the Women's Soccer Deal Favors Women Over Men

"The women's soccer is the U.S. soccer federation announced that men's and women's teams will be paid equally. And I just want to throw out some facts for you guys because we live in a world of delusion. And to think that you can not add equal value, get the same amount of money. Let me read from a breitbart article. It says, while the agreement is being called equal pay, the deal actually heavily favors the women. Women's soccer has far fewer fans, both watching on TV and going to the stadiums, obviously. The 2019 Women's World Cup for sure reached off a certain, for instance, let me say it that way. I reached a record high of 1.2 or 1.12 billion viewers across the world. And I know a lot of people that are listening are probably saying, man, that's a lot of you is 1.2 or 1.12 billion viewers across the world. But mind you, the man on the other hand had 3.5 billion viewers across the world and they earned $6 billion of profit. The earn and disparity is nothing new because, for example, in 2010, men's cup earned $4 billion in revenue, but the women's cup that year earned only 73 million,

How to Respond to the Transgenderism Argument

How to Respond to the Transgenderism Argument

"I had a question concerning the transgender argument. What do I ask my peers in order to basically shut down their transgender argument? And what reasons are to shut down the transgender argument? Yes, sir. If they bring it up. Sure. So it's a great question. So at the root of the transgender argument is a belief that you're feelings can dictate your reality. That is the basis of transgenderism. It is also a rejection of the absolute description of actually who you are as a person, right? So in order to properly expose the fraud of transgender movement or transgenderism, we must apply that to other facets of life, right? So if you can choose your gender, can you choose your age? If you could choose your gender, can you choose your species? Now, people might say, well, Charlie, those things are red herring arguments. They don't have anything to do with it. Of course they do. These are certifiable mental conditions that people have where they think they're younger than they actually are. Should a 50 year old who thinks that he's 50 year old should be able to compete in a youth soccer league with 8 year olds just because he feels that way. So at the core of transgenderism and I'm not making light of it, we should have compassion. We want Jesus for all these people. We want help and treatment for these people is a mental condition. Believing you are a separate gender than you are assigned from birth is called gender dysphoria.

Pastor Phil Waldrep: Love Filters Us to See Victories, Not Mistakes

"That. Debbie and I, we have three grandchildren. Our two oldest, two oldest girls, they're now 7. One is she likes to do ballet and dancing and the other one likes to play soccer. And you know what I discovered? I discovered that my grandchild was the best soccer player and the best ballet dancer in town. And I would tell people, and here's what I'd say. I was lying, but I said it. I'd say, I'm not saying this is because it's my granddaughter. But she's the best one on the team. No, I was saying it because she's my granddaughter. You know why? Because love put a filter over my eyes that I could only see her victories and not her mistakes. Acts on my granddaughter, I could only see how she performed perfectly, not when she fell down. And when you put love as a filter, you look for people's good points, not their bad points. So your language is never, well, he's a good fellow, but so you can tell how you really feel. No love looks for people and it brags on people and it affirms people. And if you really want to make people feel love, you bragging on them when they not around. And you say things and we're getting back to them. Mark Twain said and he was right. People can live on a good compliment for 6 months. And when you say things about people and you sincere, you mean it, and they find out, and they feel so affirmed. You know how they feel, they feel loved.

"You're a longtime friend, secretary Pompeo was on yesterday denouncing the fact that we're back in negotiations with the Iranians through Russian proxies. There were Russians at the table speaking on our behalf in Vienna yesterday. Does anyone in the Senate on the other side raise a voice about this? We got to cut them out of everything. And we can't do a deal with the Iranians. Talk about projecting weakness. That would be the ultimate in projecting weakness. It's just another example of why Putin probably thinks he can get away with this in the long run. If we're cutting them off from European airspace and taking their soccer clubs and seasoning their yachts and sanctioning some of their banks, yet we'll sit down with them at the negotiating table at Vienna to try to get a terrible nuclear deal with Iran. He knows that Joe Biden is not serious about fighting this fight for the long run. Just like we've isolated Vladimir Putin, so many other ways. We should not be negotiating a dangerous nuclear deal with his aid with Iran.

"That are on the other especially if the other team has the ball. They're just kind of walking back and hope in their team. Wins it so they'll have to sprint back. The way they should you know to cover that winger on their side and they hope the ball doesn't get down and get crossing that player scores. Okay don't be that player. Be proactive about your defense. Anticipate do you need to start getting back. Get back get in position you can always turn around and go forward better to jog ten or twenty yards and have the sprint ten then to walk and have to spread forty when you like oh balls getting across. I'm in trouble right. Which is really kind of what else going into my next thing on the list about not watching new teammates play defense and hope they save you from playing the defense. You should be playing. Okay that makes sense. I hope that makes a lot of sense. I know alati out there do this. You think soccer is a sport where you can hide and not do the running. You need to do coaches know teammates as you get older. They know okay. Don't be that player. check your shoulder a lot. Soccer's a fast moving sport every second everything changes from the players to dishes to the balls position. You need to know where you are and what's around you at all times so always always always check your shoulder. I've shared a video with my players at times of frank park checking his shoulder. And it's like a sixteen second video and he checks his shoulder out of twenty twenty five times in that amount of time and he's always moving. He's not covering a lot of growl. I guess you could. It's a close of him. But you can tell us team has possession and he's just kind of every time the balls move and you can tell he's taken steps. He's checking his shoulder and see where the space is. So he can give his teammate passing angle and also nobody needs to do with the ball because he knows where the defenders are behind them. Check your shoulder a lot vision. Anticipation awareness kind.

"Thank you bella. Appreciate it as always. Welcome back to another edition of soccer specialist. Podcasts and today first thing i want to start off with of the conversation i recently had with a apparent. It's something i've talked about. Some people in the past is a reminder of some things. I've heard from players where we talk about one v one play and how let a lot of players would rather be the defender in that situation which is such a shame. Because it's the best part of the game when you've got the ball of defeat and you can take on a defender. Get them to go the wrong direction. Beat them whether it's to get across in a a passer assist. Get a shot off. It's such a fun important part of the game and one of the things. I know a lot of players struggle with is taken. What they're able to do with the ball you know moves that they've learned and actually try them in the game for the first time and what am i. Pieces of advice. Can you get to that point. Where you're comfortable with the move. I i move i always Teaches the lunch fake. You don't even have to touch the ball. It can also be used effectively in conjunction with a lot of other fakes the ability to drop that shoulder. Like you're gonna go one direction and go the other so important watch messy. He's the best at it. And of course you don't even need to touch the ball in terms of actual what we might consider moves. I think the scissors is a fantastic. I move it's pretty simple. It get to do a pretty quickly again. You don't touch the ball right it you can also do. Continuous scissors do more than you know. More than one. Two three florida time and so. Let's say we're gonna take the scissors sometime when you get an opportunity in a game and you get a ball the cubs to you. Say your Out wide or whatever and there's a lot going on in the middle of your team finally gets it they kick the ball out wide. You get the ball throw scissors not to beat a defender just to do it while you have the ball your feet in their space around you know no pressure throw quick sensors around the ball if it makes you.

"Com. See i slip that in there as pretty good right. Remember it's not about whether you can get faster than someone else. It's about improving your own speed so with that proper training. Some with average speak and become above average somewhere with above average speed. Maybe they can become elite and keep in mind all else. Being equal speed is most definitely a game changer. Yes one of the greatest things about soccer's all these other things you can do side. Us lettuce in the help. Make you a great player. Vision awareness all that stuff checking your shoulder but guess what the faster players can do those things to then. We're already right. So you want to also work on improving your speed because speed kills. It's a sports cliche. For a reason it is true. It is true in soccer. And it's really really an important part of the game. Even at the highest levels with the most technically skilled players speed plays a huge huge role with speed. You can win more fifty fifty balls. You can get behind defenses easier. Stretch him out off the ball runs. You can break defense down out wide and get dangerous crosses off or or maybe you're overlapping as a fullback and when a defender knows you a superior speed they're going to back off a little bit they're afraid to get beat they're gonna give you more time and space to make good decisions as a defender you can race mistakes yours and teammates by quickly closing on opponents. You can stop transitional attacks okay you can high press that if you have a condition fast team the thai pressing you put a lot of pressure on ball closing on the ball. Quick right that causes havoc out there. So i talked. I've mentioned getting stronger before we get into that. I want to go a little bit about the other thing which is improving mechanics of course and for me. I like to focus on acceleration mechanics not top end mechanics. Acceleration mechanics first of all can be With improved acceleration mechanics and strike. You can improve acceleration speed via training a lot more than you can't top speed which is awesome for soccer players because you're acceleration speed is much more important.

I wanna do one up coming up about speed about getting faster. We can all say we all talk about their so much more to the game. Make you a great player. You don't have have to be fast. That's true you put you do have to have a certain amount of speed and guess. What if you master all those things we talk about the dealt evolves speed your soccer. Iq your movement off the ball. I touch all that great stuff man. Just think if you get faster and you add some speed to so. We'll talk about that in the next podcast. I know this is getting long again. I'm getting really starting to get these. I got to cut these down right so and they one of the things. I wanna talk about this before. I i have to. You know pat myself on the back this came from. Aj's thanks grapes. The impact soccer performance program. My daughter you eleven has been doing it all season. Her ten yards sprint. Deathly got faster and ten yard shuttle much faster just two months and a half. I noticed in recent soccer camps. It's much more explosive and mentally at preparation right mentally. She is very confident in her body. Mentally much tougher about that as another thing. I noticed the summers competitive fire desire to put the work and effort in on her own. She built confidence by preparing by doing what she needed to do to get ready for her season..

"Impossible comebacks and stubborn stain as still needs it captures the brilliance of unpredictability. The uncertainty of him heart and human scale of probation and chance in most part of the war. Football issues asked name for the chess of the green socred of the pits. They give you the biggest point of war in the united states and canada however soaker issues are instead of these things from american football a more formal name. Some ventures in association football but in in barbara speed is either football or soccer. Was we already talked about saying that. It's our to make a difference from The american food so you know there's been a lot of information in this tournaments There's just one thing that i really really like so done. it's war. Why because if you think of sports for example baseball american football did Hokey even on day just not part off many countries not many countries played them. So when you wasn't it. It is sugaring on superintendent. But there's dad Lavallee against factor that soccer brings to the table. That other sports don't I used think it's really really great but soccer has eats and will do to the world. I think it's wind. You know it could be the darkest places in the world you know. You have people playing soccer on issues like that either. The of eternal. it's it's a great way of learning about other cultures playing against other countries landing the way they played their countries on. It's really great. It sucks that. He took them so long to figure it out the rules and everything but obviously is not easy to kempton agreement with other countries I think it's really. It's really funny. That england decided not to be part of for for a year. Because you know they created so and they didn't need them on a year to realize that maybe we don't need them but since then you know there's been like so many clubs that have started so many clubs that have made absolutely stunning performance from the book is actually right like i think. "Goat. He pretty much. Uc's head to kick their opponents in the stomach with you completely illegal plate. I probably the wrong thing to do on Dated on he obviously got a red card and he was asked to leave the game but There's been so many Furious about that specific reaction You know seem knitting sudan was probably east. One of the best players have ever played for france so what seen lose his cool. That quickly and dire of nowhere was really really shocking. For everyone there are some people that said that the other player was talking. Really bad things about Cd stems sister or family. Ondon hot enough on. Put it in on the discussion which it was a wrong move for his team. But personally i think i would have not way sooner. If someone says anything with my family i will snap. So i don't eve- got his troops again. I don't think there's been off confirmation against theory of the theory from any side but if eve doubled of would be to I will understand that decision. On definitely italy's players have also been kicked out of the game. Because you know you can dog trust during soccer games. it's really comment to doctrines to your opponents to try to distract them to try to make them insecure or made them trying to get their heads. It's it's just common and data one thing that has been going on for many many years but i think there is a line that no one not no-one acknowledgement one. A one single player shoot grows honest. You know looking families or saying disgusting things about families friends significant all this line that you string cross our new the theory that i said it's it's the truth. Italy's player definitely crossed the line and definitely deserve what he got it. Was you know pretty pretty big impact on you know. We've seen it dan. He did play in the stomach with his head. Which is very impressive. Because you know you wouldn't think that he would use his head out our guest like maybe punt team or slap team. Or i don't know he's head that definitely dies. I feel like that is why these specific sample has been you know. Start my head for many years now. Actually so yeah i think that game i do believe france and a blue seen anita linda going to the next song. Or maybe i think it was the final actually final of the world cup or the european. I'm not sure what specific determine why year but definitely crazy chris. Play the sport of soccer develop. Moros were implement an more historical landmarks set. For example. the on the gate was introduced in eighteen. Ninety one people became a member of the international football association. Board of great britain in nineteen thirteen red and angulo cars were introduced in the ninety seventy walkup finance more. Recent mayor chains include goalkeepers being banned from handling deliberate ba- back passes in nineteen. Ninety two tackles from behind becoming red carpet. These in one thousand nine hundred ninety eight actually breathed advised the bike ducks from behind became legal in nineteen ninety eight. I would've. I would've thought that i would have happen sooner. i just can't even be into mine. Why would you do that like a thing. That's like at the right into this is sometimes. This place rose the fact that they were you know they were introduced so late. It definitely shock me. Some of the top players throughout history include belay from brazil quiz scored six goals in nineteen fifty. Workup on held. "But gaspar do you buy the mc podcast network. I am your host. i know get do they. We are gonna talk a little bit about something w retook in some other podcasts. But i think it's a good that we talk again because something's remainders thing on maybe some of you have already forgotten them. So i think it's important to Don't come at this kind of things. So let's talk about soccer but the history of soccer Honestly if someone asked me before doing the these guys hollow on go was soaking. Ben debt invented. I would have never guessed it. I think i mean it is clear that soaker it's pretty much. It was pretty much in england while it was not the only country died the first countries give me that started playing it. it was deacon. Treat that gossips. that everything would make sense because soccer in england it's fling portent and really popular. It's it makes sense that he was one of the first countries to start. I guess Syria of games or Small league but soaker that we know he had literally nothing nothing to do with this okay that he was you know other than two thousand years ago breakers trace the history of soaker back more than two thousand years ago in places and gatling guns like china. Greece ron and birds of central merrick or soclean too hot day or they claim the have start the third this sport but it was england that transition it soaker of or what debris are many other people are on the will football. This is one thing that i always have gone seasons with my friends in the us. I always like why do you school soccer y not football because you know you keep the bulb with your foot and they're like you know what there is a really great point but you know we call american football football because you can also get more with your foot. Which is it's i know i know during a football game. Only the key care is usually the one that kicks the ball with their foot but their rule say that every year is allowed to do it. So that's why You know it football would make sense for for me. Makes no sense to call soccer football. Because like they are not allowed is for the goalkeeper. The goalie the elevates had not allowed to touch the ball. We've there cans or any other part of their body. Besides legs food Even like your test and your head. I guess but not your arms so i think that was. It's it was a is a great conversation to have. Because you know it's pretty much agree to disagree. But i think it's really really great to have these conversations because he brought it brings on you took pigs and your discussions turn you know. It's nice to know things. The english are credited with recording the first uniform rules for sport in grinning including forbidding tripping appointed and that in the poll with hands Before the official rules were list. Soaker was really violent. Goodbye linking people were allowed to punch their opponent's kick their opponents on in some cases release Gators people died played soccer. Which is insane if we think about it like now. There's been a couple players that hot. Saudi passed away because of playing soccer because of different things like heart conditions or they have a heart attack on the feel or something like that which is really sad. But there's like nine out of cases would insane. Because in england before the rules worst timeless many people were dying blaine soccer because the game was source violin and strong and competitive that some of some kings in europe forbidden forbid soaker to forbid their citizens to play soccer because they needed them to go to war and win You know byles for them. Which if we think about it sense because you know in those two thousand years ago can have you know there was a lot of wars and bottles so it will make sense that the kings were like yeah. I don't really rule like my soldiers to play soccer. Because i don't want to die playing it not fighting for my entree guests who i guess. I can say that issues insane. I cannot imagine game of soccer with a referee or with more than the blazer. I love the feel or even like punch their opponent's the only i only room i remembered these really like i don't think i ever forget this fight. I guess i believe he was the work and it was friends versus easily unseen sedan. Which is currently it's the real madrid.

"Welcome back to the mc soak it but guess before the commercial we were talking about some of the games that Happy going on in the women's soccer women's soccer during the twenty twenty olympics. We took our the netherlands on the us in crazy gracie bennett iran. We also talk about sweden. That beat japan three to one. And then we talk about australia versus england With the end up despite oscar was forty. Three in favor of australia a name. We talk about the craziest of all games canada. Brazil brazil were. Canada ended up winning against brazil. We soup rice brewery much. Everyone weeds aids Obviously accents because canada has not been Greasy good at soccer for a long long time in this olympic proving that they're back on the day can compete with great teams like brazil. Now we're going to talk about the mems Some runs in soccer some of the quarterfinals on. And who's going to the semi-finals on how it's the who do. I am the though. I think it's gonna win. Go in the olympics. So the first The first game. That i wanna talk about eats Friends bursts who's japan. Manson friends looking back in the european. German date got eliminated by Switcher lenny from not mistaken inaccuracy penalty ron. So the fact that they're competing in the olympics. Even if obviously don't have the same thing that they have in the european tournament but it's still They have great tinted of They have played really really good in the military. Six year parents scorer. We'd i'm shocked honestly. I do know that european. It's a great great great Team on the hard. Like many different teams in japan where Usually some retired to replace from europe there to play so i'm not really surprised that this I think they did go was really good I think number eighteen tried to score but the goal keeper was were to You know Saved the goal but then Another play from japan was to score with was lingo on great team effort For japan and this happened twenty six minutes into the game. In the military. Three japan had A score again Number two is score for japan Giving the lead to one. Which i'm i'm actually. I was pretty shocked. Like the way japan just like they have so much. Control the ball. They obviously hot more power. Dan france the or not our more procession either. No their offense was working routed Through the least adversary. Three minutes of the game. I think they were attacking alone and they were not as worry as french Into the defense. I think france defense was definitely really really wake wits obviously shocking and surprising because I will not expect. I expect that for france. Obviously because i thought they were honestly gonna win. A naked stalk. Japan's gives me I i used. I was missing a lot of like offense. Attacks like from friends Either if they were like miscommunication or they were just like not. I guess trying to like i dunno between i mean. It's obviously they were trying to win. But like deers the way you would bring riches. Not because japan's scored a third goal in the minutes. Sixty nine Unlike i do believe that friends gave up i in. They look defeated by demand. Like seventy five thurgau. They look definitely defeated and they jurisprudence defense would use like not good at all like obviously they are trying to give authorised related to the goalkeeper. Pick like if the defendant is not working the goalkeeper doesn't have must to do number eight was the one scored. The third goal for japan on a unity is suing dia game. French was just not playing as good as i know. they can. japan and the game with a fourth goal in the mid ninety one by Also nine on it was years like not it for friends like your brand beat them pretty hotly for two zero on issues. Like i don't know. I use i don. I can not like when i see them Play i again believe. Does the same friends that you know. It was playing the european german of one day. Workup a couple of years ago. And even in european german. There's something missing in that team. And i don't know if it's communiqu miscommunication eats like i honestly the no maybe like. Obviously they're being against teams better than them Japan blade absolutely incredible I do think that it's believable. Huggers the blade and we are going to talk in japan. We are going to talk about the game. That bream happen on saturday and he was. You've been against new sealion. Guess what have been ben naltese years. We love penalties. Why place don't but it's just like it's been gracie how many penalties we had in this termine In honestly like most of the german so far soaker throughout the entire like ninety minutes japan. i believe how More controversial and they have more chances of scoring bad data then the goalkeeper absolutely he was really really good for new zealand on defense. I think nissen a little weak not to week because obviously everyone was not able to score. But i do think offers louis like japan had control of the game. Pretty much I think new zealand had a couple of good changes of taking the lead but depends. Defense or goalkeepers were there did not allow new zealand to score any goals. Same thing goes from ritchie that they didn't allow japan but overall i do think that european had more precision off the ball had more I dunno i guess energy like more island. They created mortiz that new zealand to score a goal But even i think the best player in new zealand's it's definitely. The goalkeeper is not easy coming to a stop every single player in your opponent like in your rival team every two bits because that's Japan voice attacking Is like it really hard for Obviously the goal keeper from ucla zealand but I think he did. I really really really great job. Defending steam on not allowing Japan to score which overall israel hopping in both teams like both goalkeepers were definitely really good And that's why like there was no. It wasn't like a boring game as sometimes happens when in teams don't score. It turns out to be a little boring. I don't think this was the case. Because i think both teams were really active. They were trying really hard to not allow the other team to score and does what. He was really really intense The obviously the game went to extra time and then we went to Vanities both depend on new zealand score both goals in the first penalty round and then number three Floor new zealand Miss more than he mused japan's goalkeeper. Tony was able to stoppable. I think he was a great great great stopped. He just jumping on the right side on the right angle on you know is yours like it is what it is it's It's a great opportunity for to shining penalty. Run japan score the second goal for giving them deleted the point in the moment on two one new zealand Miss the penalty on doukas. Pretty bad because he means because they keep her stoppable he means because he threw the ball so high-near that even closer to you know beginning second. Japan scored the third goal which it was clear that they wanted these victory. And it's it's it's queued for me that they're playing home and they're playing really get that for. It's really really cool. I think he's cool when a comte place as good done. I don't believe european has any gold medals in soccer And if they do. It's been all wild scenes. They seems they want. I think I think this team the team that explain In this soccer in the olympics in three twenty east show. Matt's better done any other team that i've seen like any other job panting that i've seen in any olympic came pretty much so i am unruly. Glad that the playing this And then japan. Japan number five score the fourth final goal giving japan the bigotry Of the game on obviously knicks. They were able to go into the next round We it's the Semifinals if i'm not mistaken Okay next game. I wanted to talk about is the saudi our average. Who's roussel on these hopping. A couple of days ago. i think it was A once they Brazil won the less goal for the India only twenty sixteen and it was really meaningful for them because they will on in real meaning the capital of brazil so they won't home and it was really nice to see the whole audience and everyone. You know weaned the first ever go from brazil. Which i was mistaken. I i really thought they have won before gold medal in olympics but did even the first ever goal for brazil encircling at the olympics. Worse in two thousand sixteen In the minute Thirteen resealed scored go. I got off the game He was how corner full on a day. Number twenty twenty. You don't bush. Just he double are perfect angle on They were able to score against saudi arabia. Which i it. It is not a team that should be a rival for brazil. I think so. I think they're good because obviously they are but.

"To focus on score. That goal islet of things can happen ago since can go through You appraise mind. Maybe like do they just like try to ignore a real one. Just focus on the bowl while you was number for from brazil The last the warren that it was against these goalkeeper on the keeper stoppable for going in Giving candidate the victory and for me. One of the most soup racing victories of this whole tournament. I don't i don't know really how they get the they became this good out of nowhere. Pretty much Because they have never. Canada has never have a soccer team. That i will say yes. They are really good like maybe brazil. The us friend even spain that it's been given qualified for these terminator. Believe so so it's definitely shocking for me. I'm i'm really happy. Return the underdog comes on you know wins against such a great great team like brazil It gets like alan. Oh it's just it's just great for me To see on underdog team Weenen against amazing team like brazil. Woman's man's brazil are really good and they've been for many years and i honestly thought the final was going to be the united states versus brazil or are trulia versus brazil but now brazil is of the competition and Paying oh excuse me. Canada has to play the united states and then and blaze australia. Which i am so excited. Now we're going to talk about sudan. Suzanne in the scoring the first six minutes of the game Number six for students core I think scoring so early indicate game. It's like a message to the other team. Like i'm here. I'm not going to lose on. You know i'm not going to give you a break. I am going to do everything again to score And they did. I think he was a great goal. They score line numbers kickable with her head and the gold when in clean clean clean goal. Amazing really really really great. Play japan hop Score in the mid twenty two of the game. Let's remember japan. Eat splaine home is just when you lose. Home is always har- for japan are i. Guess not for sweden. In this case they didn't have any. There is no like parikh allow in this game. So they There's no one that can cheer for one team or another so. It definitely helps the other team because like we said this before in the tournament england was playing home on the final They loose or of the odd. Stay in a losing. Sweden scored the second goal of the game in the minute. Fifty two and it was a great play. I thought the goalkeeper was going to stop the because he was it was not. It was a great goal. But it wasn't something that i could not played. I think they had to like review the play because they felt the number eleven was in the rump. She seemed but was not I believe so as he was in the right position siege. Gora go go when between the The went to the golden japan's goalkeeper right side. It was a critical throughout the game. I would say. Sweden had more control of the ball hot You know. I guess like the precision of the ball. They cut it. They have like a big biggest became presented that japan. Which always means that you don't. They have to in one of japan's player. He the ball with her hand. It was definitely definitely an accident. Like i using now. She was just she john Her hand in the air on sadly for japan See he'd double we her hand on like penalty. Those are the rules of soccer even by accident easily johann any during the area. It's probably going to be a penalty in this sixty seven and sweden was able to score a penalty Giving three three to one anyways number nine the one that score I think i honestly think that moment. It's when the team kind of like break the team. It was more than you know. I'm three to one i date. I don't know they play after to. That was not as good as they were playing before that. I know it's har- on it's not the same loose by like three to one to one because to the one means i only you need one goal to tie the game on going into the semi-finals in this case but three to one. It's a tough tough tough score to beat on. It's not impossible. And we saw in the european tournament with like croatia score in like thirty minutes to goals tying the game going to overtime against spain on over there I think switzerland the to you. Know there's been mcrae. Secrecy moments in soccer were data gaming. The last second of the night in minutes but Suddenly for japan. That did not happen. they they did play really really really really good and i will definitely sit that because they did It was really sad that they were not able to excuse me Scorn bad It is what it is on. i'm. I'm i'm sad every time the home team loses because obviously it's nothing that Not no one wants to see that was in the The home team that is hosting the game on their brain relief Really really good During the whole jermaine but it was definitely student have finally definitely a tough tough tough tough rivals rival unday clearly were better. Like through the entire game they They had pushed the ball way often. That upn did on the way they want three to one The next game in the semifinals. I'm gonna talk about eats a grim great britain bursts out trulia. My my favorite. I think my favorite team. Mona islands in my favorite by the team. I believe it's gonna win goal. It's.

"Much even when the talent. Is there a hundred feet in the air. You prefer performance under pressure whether it's pressure from the other team in a game or teammates parents the coach or yourself mentally. Maybe you're a perfectionist. In every mistake weighs on you and you're terrified of making mistakes on the ground that performance when you're confident okay. That makes sense will make it soccer specific. Let's look at in terms of penalty. Kicks you go out and take. Pk's on your own on your own team practices now. Maybe team practices where it's at the end of a practice in your decide who's gonna take him in the game so it compete with your teammates. Now it's in a real game. Maybe you're up six. Nothing w taking a peek. Now maybe it's going to decide a game. Maybe it's gonna decided tournament. Think about how player feels when they're stepping up to take a pk in the world cup final and if they missed out right there's one hundred feet in the air. Maybe there's the thousand feet in the air okay and just but nothing has changed in terms of the physical performance. There's nothing about the penalty kick. there's nothing about walking on the beam that has changed but your mind has changed dramatically. This is why everyone professional soccer as the skilled in l. a. p. pk but only a handful can do it. Consistently during the most pressurized moments look. It can be complicated. It can be many exercises many things that we go through to help develop confidence and put you in the right frame of mind for things like that today. I wanna talk briefly about what i believe is number one. Everything follows from this and that's preparation the more prepared. You are the more confident you are with anything. You do this is why michael jordan. Everyone knows who michael jordan is. I'll use that and sokha's michael jordan as he's don could shoot a free throw a real. Nba game with his eyes closed. Preparation breeds confidence. Michael jordan took so many free throws. He can almost literally in his sleep. Next best thing is is close. The free throws the same right at same distant. Same everything no matter. What the situation whether. It's two minutes into a game that zero zero or it's no time left on the clock and you're shooting the to tie the game and win the game and this now going to preparation and another key. Part of that is what i like to say is. Don't do it until you get it right. do it. until you can't get it wrong..

"And we're closing in on the end of twenty twenty. I think a lot of people are thankful for that and hopefully heading into a completely different twenty twenty one and i wanted to take this opportunity to go over some things that you can do to kinda help you prepare as we move into a new year so that you can have the best opportunity to make it the best year ever in your soccer your soccer journey and so i wanted to take it through a few things on the initial part of this is something. I did. Send out to everyone who gets the email newsletter. Hopefully that's all of you. Because i definitely want to start connecting more in that way in twenty twenty one so i can be a little bit of an exercise. You're gonna have to take a few minutes. You gonna have to think a little bit. Okay I we're gonna talk about goals and our make this really easy. 'cause i just want you to list three goals for twenty twenty one and we're gonna make them smart goals okay. We'll talk about specific measurable attainable realistic and timely. I did another podcast on this. I will talk about it a little bit more detail coming up here in another minute and just three because i want you to focus. It doesn't mean you're not gonna have other things that you want to accomplish twenty twenty one but if you make a million different goals you kind of spread yourself out. You don't give any of them really the time and attention and effort that they that you need to in order to achieve them and then it kind of becomes overwhelming and nothing good happens so i'll give you a quick example for me in terms of the things that that i'm doing i wanna get back to doing a podcast week consistently. I was doing that last year when i started. This podcast in the fall did from october to march was boom every week. And then the the lockdown stuff happened in the cancel and the.

"If you can't move properly and look, you're an injury waiting to happen in that respect as well and as I've mentioned the private facebook group, which if you haven't joined go do so the soccer specialist look that up you should be able to find it on facebook right now I wanted to focus on two specific movements that can help with overuse injuries, but also improve athletic performance. These are two of my favorite movement pattern for athletes. What again injury prevention and overall athleticism More. In a second but look if you want to become stronger faster quicker, more explosive. Were powerful soccer player. You need to be training these movement patterns. They should be any athletes toolbox locate number. One is the hip hinge. The second movement is the squad. An athlete must be able to perform these movements. Not, only must they be able to perform? They had to train them and train them properly. Okay. There's a third one. I would add to these two. If you WANNA call big three call this bonus info for you would be the lunging we'll talk about that at at another time. But Okay. Let's get into the hip hinge bit. The hips are involved in everything you do. Okay it's. The one muscle that connects the upper lower body. If our hips are not right, we can't function properly we don't move properly wind up getting injuries and other body parts that are really because of issues with our hits are hips have an impact on pretty much everything else the bothered the bottom of the body does whether you want to sit stan sprint. Jump. Stop. Change. Direction twist band whatever your hips play key role in how you perform those activities how you move during those activities. And the hips again to help determine whether or not. You're an injury waiting to happen okay and protect the spine. The hips are a source of everything. "Includes proper nutrition recovery movement mechanics, strength training. At one thing I've noticed in my time coaching training athletes is they really don't know how to move properly. It's it's true. The proper mechanics aren't natural for everyone. and. Like everything else it could definitely be a learned skill. You can improve mechanics and help prevent injury that way at also improved performance. What I have been amazed at House, you athlete can perform certain movements. I look I haven't done a study, but my best guess is that kids don't play anymore the way they used to. Right. They're not out there playing games A. Tag Or Dodge Ball or monkey in the middle or jailbreak whatever other game you can mention. Instead. They're tapping on their phones, right? They're not climate trees riding bikes, they're tapping on their phones. So soccer players, even those athletes only get movement at soccer practice I. Remember one time a few years ago. Team we're we were going out over the summer to to train when they had a bit of a break. A younger team wanted actually do a little conditioning take the time in the summer a little bit of conditioning because I don't like to do that during practice will be on teams when I, it's important to get touches on the ball and the only have him twice a week. So we did do some soccer, but we also did a little condition with its body weight stuff to kind of expose them to it. And it was really amazing to me to see how you players perform something like a proper body weight squat or do a bear crawl or a lunch or even a, and these are the athletes of age I I can only imagine.

"To another edition of the soccer specialist podcast you can. If you can tell bells getting pretty excited, she feel soccer is going to be back soon. I with her I'm hopeful. I. Think we'll be out on the pitch before you know it. In terms of that, we are obviously in a very unique in stressful time right now, there seems if there are many things while there are many things to worry about other than us soccer. The other side of that is a lot to be said for having distractions and having other things to focus on right now. As a stress reliever at the very least for your mental and physical health and wellbeing. And simply to hold the positive thought that everything's going to return to normal soon that there will be soccer again I think that's important not just for the parents but for the the players themselves for the kids, this is obviously a very. Difficult and challenging time for them. The world's been turned upside down and we want our young players sitting around worrying or maybe focused on the fun of their sport so that they become even better players when they when soccer starts up again then they are currently. I think. In of that..

"Thank you as always appreciate it. Welcome back everyone to another edition of the soccer specialist podcast Ano- We've missed a couple of weeks here for obvious reasons that you are all aware of since there is no soccer being played anywhere right now, and the spring seasons are definitely endanger Some Room I. believe already been canceled. Don't know what's going to happen with summer and moving forward after that. So, coincidentally, enough, the podcast I'd wanted to do a couple of weeks ago, but hadn't hadn't gotten to was about overcoming obstacles. So let's get into that a little bit. It seems appropriate right now. Many of you have heard meet probably her say at times that there are no obstacles. There are only opportunities. I. Think this is a great example of that..
