"Snohomish County to Pierce County. And also in Oregon last night, nearly a quarter of a million homes and businesses have no power. Well, the trial is over. So what's next? For American politics and the Republican Party? Here's a B C's faith, a boob, a former president Donald Trump, ready to step back into the spotlight Now that the cloud of impeachment has been lifted? Yeah, I spoke to him last night. He was grateful to his lawyers. He appreciated the help it all of us. Provided Senator Lindsey Graham, telling Fox News. The former president is planning his next move in politics. He's ready to move on and rebuild the Republican Party. He's excited about 2022. But as it tries to perfect the art of the comeback, the former president facing legal issues, analysts now believe the impeachment trial, while over might have also left the former president legally exposed. I think that can lead reluctant officials who might be on the fence, even though they believe they believe a crime has been committed to move forward. Officials in Georgia are investigating his attempts to subvert the will of voters in the state after calls to election officials to find him or votes. In New York, a criminal probe into his taxes and finances. Trump also said to be angry after seven Republicans voted to convict him. Those GOP senators now facing backlash, among them, Senator Bill Cassidy, now censured by the Louisiana Republican Party. I'm attempting to hold President Trump accountable. And that is the trust I have from the people that elected me and I am very confident that as time passes, people will move to that position, while some members of the GOP or calling for a new direction for the party away from Trump The overwhelming majority still support him as they look to take back power on Capitol Hill in 2022, a new ABC News It's this poll shows only 14% of Republicans believe Trump should have been convicted in the impeachment trial. However, 83% believe the trial should not have happened. It's a booby. ABC NEWS Washington Legal analysts like ABC is Dan Abrams say that Donald Trump's legal difficulties air on Lee just beginning and Abram spoke with George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America today, Let's talk about the potential trials he faces right now. You heard about that investigation. Fulton County Georgia. Explain what that was about. We also have unaccepted matter. These investigations in New York right there are there are federal and state investigations, and I think the state investigations are much more concerned to him. First of all in Fulton County, you're talking about efforts to overturn the election, solicitation of election fraud, maybe obstruction of justice, and it's not just the conversation with the secretary of state in Georgia. There were other conversations as well. So full India has made it very clear that that is an active investigation. Then in New York, you got a couple inches of investigations. But the most prominent ones certainly coming from the D A in Manhattan has been fighting all the way to the Supreme Court to get access to his tax returns. There. You've got the possibility of bank fraud, insurance fraud. Tax fraud. So there's no question that his legal troubles are not over. And then I'm not New York investigation. The Supreme Court has had a hold on this subpoena for Trump's tax records for several months. Now we have any idea when that might be lifted. What's going on? Yeah, I mean, look, I expected that's that's going to be lifted relatively soon, and that's going to be addressed. I think that the goal has been to put this Beyond the election. But that case is of much, almost more concerned to some degree right because in Georgia, you could make the argument. Oh, it's political. Where's the line? How do you know what it's crossed? In New York? You're talking about documents paperwork from before he was president. If there was insurance fraud or bank fraud, those air cases They're generally pretty easy to prosecute because you have the documents right there, So I think that that's the one. Both are going to be of concern both we're gonna we're gonna have to follow, but that one is a little different even than some of the more political investigations that we've been talking about. That's ABC news legal analyst Dan Abrams. It comes as a new ABC News poll has been released this morning. And it shows that 61% of Americans believe Donald Trump's conduct in office warranted that historic second impeachment come on news.

"Come on come on. Harmonies? If I ever heard this song before I would all it's hard to pick up on. Chris Sullivan joy, this master the morning commute solely Todd. I'm I'm more of a kiss guy than I am this whatever this was that's the weekend. Thank you very much. Whatever weekend is this is like tomorrow and Sunday. Right. Yeah. But I had to teach you that the song Detroit rock cities about a guy getting killed in a car crash. Now that I listened to can't stop hearing that part of the end when I'm running with that on my headphones. So thanks Todd. Nice. So we heard Kinney's traffic report. She's time constrained got a focus in the big things. What else? Do we need to look out there about solid? Well, you know, what's interesting is in the news. Heather's newscast short Hino hearing, some of the snow totals. And I'm actually pretty surprised because where we are in south Snohomish county, which really took the brunt of the storm say Sunday into Monday this week we've gotten just like a dusting, maybe a half inch, which is unusual. We usually get a lot more than that. I mean, it's snowing, but we haven't gotten it is bad here. In south Snohomish county, north king is as I would have anticipated the big thing. I mean, you heard from Rick Johnson there from the state patrol once you get where you're going just hunker down and call it a day. Call it a couple of days. I mean, if you don't need to be out, don't, especially if you don't feel comfortable I noticed that a lot this week, especially Monday, Tuesday or people who they had to get somewhere. But they were nervous as all get out to drive, and they were going twenty thirty miles an hour under what everybody else was doing. And that can be really dangerous as well. Not that I want anybody rolling up on somebody's back in regardless. We all got to be safe. But if you're not comfy in this stuff. Blow off your meeting reschedule? Tell your family you. You'll see him next weekend. Yeah. Because it's it's just as bad to be cavalier and going too fast for conditions as it is to be going too slow for conditions because no one expects that. Yeah. Sully. I'm curious. What is what is the anticipation from traffic standpoint for the weekend? I mean, a lot of people I think are to probably stay home or or at least to some degree reduce their travel. Is there this idea that that were hoping that traffic is actually relatively manageable over the weekend? Or is there not really much hope for that at all? Well, mike. It's it's hard to say because I mean, people are still going to want to go places. However, I could say that a lot of the events for people in my wheelhouse, which would be, you know, parents of teenage kids who have sporting events, you know, we've got basketball playoffs. Wrestling playoffs for high school students right now those have all been postponed or cancelled for the weekend. And they're you know, they're moving forward. So those events are not even happening. So that hopefully, you know, those types of events might keep people from being on the road on necessarily think that's a great call by the W. I a even though I know it sucks for the athletes and their families, but I've seen a lot of different kinds of events being postponed. So hopefully, that means there will be fewer people on the road, and the people that need to be out there. Like those guys you heard in the messages out there working for a year what delivering food or whatnot. They need to have the space on the road to do what they need to do. So Chris Solan from Seattle's morning news joins us. Now. He is our traffic expert come Monday. When do I make the call that I can't come into work? Sully. Well, we have to wait and see what this storm delivers. And then figure out where where it went. I mean, if you look at Monday, we got hit really hard here. Other places didn't really get much. And so you can't really decide. Oh, I'm just gonna blow off Monday. I know my son is like let's have another snow day on Monday. Like you can't make that call till the snow stops. And you kind of figure out what you got. I know the folks in all the municipalities are going to be out there, hustling competent out there. Trying to get everything clear. So I think you have to wait until this snowstorm ends tomorrow morning and go, okay. What are we got? What can get done on the roads? And you probably won't have to make a decision until midday on Sunday about whether or not you need to come in just based on what you have. I mean, if you're over on the peninsula got fourteen inches over there. I think it's a pretty safe bet that that's not going away come Monday, and you could probably start making your plans now for the start of next week. If you're still totals are already there, we call him. Sully traffic. Sully on Twitter. You listen to him every morning, Saturday morning news. Also have the good guy. Chris. Thanks very much for joining us. Sunday came to Mike can touch you. Appreciate it guys. Be safe. Yeah.
