"Angel in the Church of Smyrna right now, Ladies and gentlemen, does not tell us something when he goes Jesus Christ himself. Singles out these churches and he says, right? It shows us the importance of the written word of God. Price could have said that, John Well, just when you get off this island of Patmos, because that's what's gonna happen to you. Just go share stories. Tell stories of how I delivered you. He said. You're right. That is what is necessary for a local church to really blossom and become what it's supposed to become. It needs a good, healthy dose and understanding of the written word of God. That is why Jesus Christ commands John, You write this the third part to every one of his messages as you have the identification of some specific feature of Jesus Christ, something that's individually connected to him. You get these glimpses of Jesus Christ that are obviously designed to teach us something in connection with that church. The fourth part is the assessment of things positive in the church. The Fifth part is the assessment of things negative in the church. That's what he does. He will assess the things positive in the church will assess the things negative in the church, and he basically says to the church, the shoe fits you put it on. I'm addressing what's wrong with the church that you fix it. I'm addressing what's right with the church. I'm glad of that. But here's the issue you've got to deal with, and I expect you to deal with it. Then the six part is the command for obedience. Christ expects his church to do something about the problem. I expect you to move in the right direction. So the commands obedience the seventh part to these little counts that he gives to the churches. He promises pending judgments for a persistence and disobedience he gives the morning Says, if you want to persist in disobeying me They're going to be some negative repercussions that you will Experience as an individual and uncertain occasions, he says. There are some negative repercussions that you will experience as a church. The eighth part is the message to the believer. US ears. Let him hear..

Halep lays Grand Slam ghosts to rest
"Hello and welcome to our fifteenth and final edition of Roland Garros relived Catherine feeling when I say that. Wistful. I'M GONNA I'm GonNa stop missing the past sort of like A. Double again I will. Note that is. Are You you're right I'm all right I can believe it's the fifteen. Well when I came up with the idea, let's just keep doing the daily podcast. Slams that we promised we would at the start of the, even though there's no tennis by watching lots of action, the past I thought it'd be easy. Turns out then we got lots of ideas about how to do it. Including interviewing everybody, we possibly could find relevant to each match, and that's what we've done again today. for Simona halep against Sloan Stevens 2018 final, and we've got down K. Hilas special guest coach to Simona Halep, and yes, it's been a long and tiring journey to get through today fifteen of these podcasts. We've enjoyed it immensely. I think it's fair to say. So let's get cracking with this one. This match has a lot to it. Doesn't it the whole saga because? Simona. Is it three Grand Slam. She already played. At the to that point and not. Finals yeah, yeah. She played the two, thousand, fourteen and final, and lost in three to Sharapova. She'd played the two thousand, seventeen, French Open final and lost in three Ostapenko, and she played the twenty eighteen Australian Open. Final just a few months before they send those to Wozniacki all three senators. She played well in all of them. She had a lead in all of them and lost all of them. And it was becoming a real. Saga actually. Can help get over the, line. 2018, you say. You want some facts about two thousand eighteen. We. Well, it's not long ago, so you can probably remember most of this Prince Harry and Meghan markle married. Thing right I hosted a semi. Gathering in the garden, did you did you was on the invitation? To, clarify with a few friends and family that I wasn't like a rabid royalist, and it was just an excuse to make some cake and sausage rolls. The I remember seeing the pictures. Wasn't invited that. We can handle it. aretha Franklin and Stephen Hawkins' both died toys. R.. US went bankrupt. Not Quite sure why that to my list, but it is. I'm not sure nothing either. Toys R. US went bankrupt and student Matt's became Grad Matt became Matt. Two thousand eighteen was a big. And formation. Toys R. US, they might. How do you feel about that? No I think it was pressed. Until Lo que, but so I was reading it. I won't saw. Phillips scattered toys R. US In writing when I was about five. States have good stories. Did you speak for? Him! US, thank you I so. Yes, so we have this final on our hands between SMYRNA HALEP and Sloan seems and it was one that. I was I was looking forward to. A tennis match in. It's just in its own right of these two players battling it out because I thought it could be a really good final. And, should he? I think it ended up exceeding all of those expectations and You're quite right Catherine when you talk about the number of finals, the the salmon halibut already been in, and it was similar to play as we think of that. We've already covered here in this running relived series like even lendl trying to win. A A I slam Andy Murray course. It took him a few guys. Goran Ivanisevic but Simona Halla. Yeah, she already had three. She'd had Darren K Hill by his side for awhile by this point, so let's hear from him about the journey that led to this moments. Together for about three us before she played that particular foreign against flown in two thousand and nineteen and I guess the memory of what happened in two thousand, seventeen, against Ostapenko, as well was brought in the full fun of Amazon so for her to go out and do what she did. And now they say that both of you most destinations. You can't get there unless you go to refund pain a tough road and that was kind of the journey that some had had even before I came along. She might the final. Open and lost Marie shower. Piping, a great match on six four on the third added chances in that one, and then to lose to paint code and then the Knicks Jay come back, an inbetween that of course remember the final that she applied at the open against the Yankee which was another great match, and just even getting to the final at the Australian Open was itself, so I I think that helped a lot. She learned a lot from that particular tournament, and when she got to the final at a French. Against Launch, he had a little extra confidence and belief in a self to finally get it done.

Sometimes her head screwed on straight. You know something that I learned in the past couple of weeks and I would have been talking to it just a ton of people and this is one of the biggest lessons I picked up on everybody. Everybody has a different perspective of what's happening right now. Everybody depending on what job there in. What part of the country they live in some people are are not working at all. Some people are working endless hours. Some people are still getting paid. Exactly what they got before but they're working eighty hours a week and have no time to do anything that will frustrated. Some people just want to get back to work in the can't everybody's in a different spot and yes a lot of people affected by this virus. A lot of people have been lost in this virus so I've really gotten perspective of that just by talking to people all over the world about how were all writing this same storm. Many many different boats together and so people in small boats and some enlarge votes. It's crazy but hopefully God willing. It will settle here soon. I got to explore the possibility this weekend. A friend of ours owns and I'll pack a wrench to and as you said. Hey can you bring your tractor over and help me move some dirt around and you have to put some dirt and some stalls can yell at thought out and get detractors. I've got trigger and I I took my track over there. John Deere and I spent the entire day helping her. But you know what I learned. I explored the possibility of doing dirt work in a neat cool tractor all day long and I. I realized I wasn't going to be something I ever aspired to do. As a living not nothing wrong with it but it wasn't going to happen so I knew my homework. I'M GONNA look at my world and say what do I like about my world? What I don't like about my world and okay do I like to attract or work for my neighbor. Well sort of venue. She asked again. I would help but would I try to avoid it. Heck Yeah it's not really my list right now and that's all we have to do with homework. That's it. We look into our life the things that were doing the things we'd like to do things that we don't like to do things you wanna say yes to things. We want to say no to decide how we're GONNA handle it in the future when you do that when you assess how your life is going to be and you just a few minutes every single day. I like it every single day. You want so if you want to. You'd be surprised what happens if you don't do that. You'll be surprised. Ten Years Fly Pie. And You wonder how you got there. See it every day. So do your homework. If you need help remember get the perfect planner. It's in the resource section of motivation. And WE'VE DOT COM easy to find. They're just click on that and download it and watch the video. It'll explain to you how to how to hold time for yourself. Maybe you got some extra time right now you can use it so let's talk about reinventing. Costano a pretty good time right now. I mean the past month has created a nothing short of a massive disruption in our lives. No doubt about that. So why not take advantage of this journey back to normal and maybe switch things up now? This is a nonstop never ending specialty and expertise. I have done this for a lot of years really being able to go come where I am and just become something different when I want to and helping so many people do it so I have a lot of experience in this world and it's a great chance to do it in fact it's been said you've heard the phrase before never let a crisis go to waste. We got one right now right. There's a disruption right now and when something has been disrupted you have a chance to wiggle and move and shake and bake and do everything you WanNa do. Make a few changes so when he wanted some tweaks as we move ourselves back to what is going to be normal here in the future or you WANNA total reinvention. The process is very much the same use the same steps. No matter what you WANNA do. Little suffer big stuff ready number one and this is a big deal and it's usually the one that people have already done but don't realize they've done it. You must acknowledge that something needs to change. Doesn't sound like a whole lot but you'd be surprised. Lots of people are trying to fix all kinds of things and not recognize as underlying change. It has to happen so when you recognize. There is something that needs changing. Listen to your gut into crisis. We're in right now. Lives are disrupted and you're thinking wait a second. How did I get here? How did this happen? Whether it's my fault. Non My fall how could I have avoided this? How could I made it easier and that gut feeling might be telling you make a few changes so if and when it happens again you're in a different spot number to be honest your inner thoughts and your feelings are real. We ARE EMOTIONAL BEINGS. And so that's where it's GonNa come from now. We have to transfer that into logic right but they are telling you the truth. They're telling you something has to change so listen to what's in there really reading yourself. An honor what. You're feeling. Translate that into actions. You'll see what happens. So first acknowledging ing that we really need to make a change in order to get the the impact that we want and to be honest with these feelings are yours. A lot of folks will say yea. I don't know it's kind of running around my head. Coaching and work with people one of the biggest things I do is validate that feeling. Validate that thought. I tested and validated. To make sure it's real and often in the process they go out the way you said it back to me. I can see that. It's this right so honored that clearly understand why you want to reinvent something you gotTa know this now. The wise always a very powerful thing but when you understand exactly why you WANNA make some changes and really feel it. It's GonNa get you excited. And that is a power that will move you forward through the journey. You're about ready to take. We should ask yourself a favor question. I think I got this the book the One thing. What one thing can you do or not? Do that will have the most significant impact on your life. It's an extremely powerful question. You're trying to make a reinvention of yourself because if you're trying to move in a certain direction there is something you can do. It may be changing jobs and maybe starting a business may be quitting the job. Who knows what is going to be. I don't know your situation right now but there's got to be one thing maybe it's moving. Maybe it's paying off some bills. I don't know what it's going to be. But there is one thing you can do that or not do. That's going to have a huge impact and immediate instantaneous. Impact on your life. Don't be afraid of that. Go find it. Why take your time looking forward and dabbling around when you just think about it a little bit and figure out what to do? I want you to set a sprint goal. I thought about this when I wrote this down. I typically will say a ninety day goal so the at least ninety days I went to sprint toward at your focus goes in that direction. You WanNa make the change now. Ninety days is something anybody can do but I will recognize ninety days. It's a longtime particularly in the The upheaval we feel these days. So my first thought was well. Let'S CUT BACK THIRTY S. Push everybody for thirty days and do that and I like thirty days. Anybody can do thirty days so I'm going to give you a little bit of leeway here I want you to sprint for at least thirty but a fixture think three months if you can hold on for thirty days and then go ninety you will change. Your Life. I promise you a lot faster than you think it won't be the all-time
"Going to talk about birds scooters which are the electric scooters or a type of scooter that has proliferated just about every major city. At least the United States all around the world I know in markets like Europe and I'm North America the middle the Middle East. They're all over the place You nor I have any real experience with a you know these these electric scooters doing nominal GonNa ride one of those silly. I have I tell you I. I have a lot of knowledge about them. But I've never been on one. And maybe that's GonNa Change soon. I think I think I'm due for a ride here but I I would bet if I had. I thought it was a betting person. I would bet that Ben is somebody that has used these if not just once or twice probably a lot. I hope I'm not giving anything away that he doesn't want but he's he lives sort of nearby. He does drive a vehicle so he might be too far to use. One of these but I would I just have a feeling that getting around town. He did live real close and that was no secret. He lived real close to this building in an old Ford Factory. As a matter of fact it's Kinda cool. He was homeless. I mean they made it into apartments. You know But but I know that you know he was real close to here and if you look outside our window right now from our office we're on the fourth floor and if you look outside I would bet anything that we would be able to spot just on the curbside probably a dozen electric electric scooters on the curb waiting for people to use in probably two or three in motion. You know people on them in bike lanes would yes. I would guess so. And even when it's raining you may even see a few in the roadway that have been washed down down which I have seen that before too window out here. Have you really washed downstream Yeah Yeah Torrential rain down here and then you know with all the hills and everything ends up being like milk. Small rivers running through downtown. If it rains it's A. It's a disaster practically if it rained the more than about an inch. And that's you know. Part of the problem with the scooters is exactly that the fact that they are relatively lightweight and just can be scattered about Willy Nilly. Oh I know we're gonNA talk about that because parking is an issue with these as well but Just for those. That don't know what we're talking about. It and I didn't didn't think that this is really going to be an issue until yesterday when we were talking off. Air About this This program in particular and I said well. We don't really need to describe them because everybody knows what these are right and you said probably not. Yeah most definitely. I mean they're in a lot of larger cities in the United States and around the world but there are plenty of places that do not have these scooters at least owned by these companies kind of dispersed everywhere as a mode of transportation. Yes sure you're in a city like Atlanta where there's close and we're bordering on seven million people now it's about six million I believe and And you're gonNA find a lot of something like this you go to Dallas go to Where was he recently? San Antonio uh-huh Tonio. Yeah San Antonio there you go to Miami you go to you know Los Angeles San Francisco. They're all over the place and some of the bigger cities In fact I've seen just even there's one brand of bird. We'll talk about many different brands but bird in particular. I think they're in something like a hundred and twenty different markets so it means I guess cities they call the markets but What we're talking about in particular here if you're not familiar is a A kick scooter. You know Kinda screwed that you stand up on. It's got a little deck in two small wheels Handlebar that is coming up off of a stem. You know straight stem in front of you. Normally you would put one foot on the deck and then kick like he went on a skateboard to get moving. Put your second foot up coast on right. These have have a wheel or a wheel motor motor in the wheel electric and drives these things and it actually is pretty efficient at moving along. Pretty good you would think that I would have a lot of difficulty here in Atlanta because of the terrain that I just mentioned it's very hilly here even in downtown but these really move people along pretty good you get up to speed pretty quick and I don't know what that speed it is. I want to say it's it's above ten miles per hour. It's probably closer to twelve or even fifteen. Maybe I would say between ten and fifty s somewhere on yeah again no personal experience on it yet. But I'm going to get there so I don't have personal experience on the scooter either but I do have experience being around them list. I don't ride On the beltline often but it is a nice little connector to get from one road to another sal hit it every now and then and the scooters are are outrageous now the beltline is a walking path. That is it's like wasn't an old railroad line. Here yeah they they do this with many old railroad lines across across the country. They turn them into by gas walking past recreational pattern. Tear the tracks off smooth it out. Put some pavement down and they've got some trees nearby a lot of businesses backup to the property so you can walk to and from businesses. That way I I don't know how many miles listen goes but it's big it's a long it's long Walking path that is accessible folded. Just about everybody downtown. They're always lengthening it. On either side you know they. This one here isn't is not continuously very long. It's like maybe two miles of the section. But they have a bunch of different sections throughout the city that they that you can link up with bike paths and sidewalks and there is one that is in Smyrna Georgia that goes it was all the way into Alabama's called the silver comet. Yes then in Alabama its name changes but it does keep going for a few more miles and Alabama Alabama Aniston. Maybe actually good ways in. Yeah that's that's the example of one of these trails. It's very long silver comet trail. Okay so yeah check into that all right well so i. I think a lot of people are familiar with that type of environment in a city. You know they've repurpose some of these These old train tracks are railroad the pathways that they left behind. Once the railroad has goner honor into no longer in use. But yeah we we find a lot of traffic on that area or on that That walking path they're formerly walking path now it's scooters bikes and all kinds of things early on you know you'd find these things on sidewalks. Well it was a little bit dangerous little iffy you know when you walk out of a business and you know scooter. That's running silently just zips pass ask you go in you know twelve fifteen miles an hour. It's a little bit frightening. Yeah because it happened. It happened often the report of Pedestrian Scooter Collisions And unfortunately there have been a lot of You Know Scooter car collisions. That have happened and will not to let the cat of the bag or anything but I mean there's been several deaths here in Atlanta alone That have led to Some some problems with With the city between the city and the scooter companies. So there's a lot to really talk about here. They're they're it's actually. It's not a bad solution for what they intended for. For the micro mobility I think is what they call it. It's like the last mile transportation is what they the virtue. I'm not one hundred percent. Sure that the the scooters are being used in that way I feel like the e bikes have gotten more of a grip on that type of situation they. They're definitely way more organized like they had the stations. Sion's where you put the pikes to charge whatnot. There's more of an infrastructure there whereas the scooters are just Kind of littered about so you're talking about the same thing only a bike form. Yup the electric city bike is one of them. And there's something called Joe. There's one called jump. I don't remember some of the other names of these. I've got a list of operators operators here in the city of Atlanta that include. You know the names and the number of units that they have but I don't have them broken down by a what type of device that they market into the in ear. So there's There's bird bows bolt. Gotcha jump lime. Lift spin wheels. All these are operating within the city limits of just Atlanta and you can multiply apply this by however many large city centers are nationwide and then also worldwide was. We said you know. Just one of those companies Bird I believe operates in something like one hundred twenty different markets or maybe. I'm thinking of lime. I can't remember which because we had some big news recently about lime Lime has just decided this month to pull out of Atlanta they're they're removing themselves from the Atlanta market because of some restrictions have been placed on them. Yeah San Antonio is another place. They're pulling out of which I found surprising because because I felt like they were everywhere in downtown San Antonio. Yeah but you know. Here's the confusing thing. Is that a lot of them. Look the same. These all have the general shape and appearance appearance of each other. They they might have a little bit of Different sticker package or different color combination. That they use you know red and black or purple Black Green and white or whatever it happens to be there all branded handed in a certain way. But maybe we're seeing you know Bird scooters and thinking they were lime scooters and it's easy to confuse very

You don't think about wildfires in the spring of west especially based on the fact that they've, they've had an incredible amount of snowpack during the winter months lot of rain. Even surprising rains in the month of may all the way to southern California. But there is a raging wildfire in central Washington. It is the highway two forty-three fire. That started near the one a poem damn late Monday as the fire continues to grow in spread. It has prompted level, one two and three of accusations in the surrounding area with level three evacuations meeting immediate danger. The grant county sheriff's office posted on their Facebook level three evacuation for Smyrna leave now level, three means you're in immediate danger larger family and pets go now Smyrna is about one hundred sixty miles east of Seattle as of Wednesday morning. Rainfalls been generally close to average in recent weeks in central California. This is this is a dry part of the country in the dry time of year, apparently. There has been a dry air mass in place, and it's been kind of windy, especially during the afternoon and evening hours. So conditions have been favorable for a quick spread of wildfires. Once you get one started. It is a hilly rugged terrain kind of area, which leads to wins kind of swirling around in various features along the terrain conditions in the area remained difficult for firefighting favorable for quick spread of fires. Crews from across the state are battling the steep terrain variable winds about four hundred personnel to fire bosses multiple helicopters. "Is in Smyrna Shane walk into the Mark Arum show. Hey, Mark a job. Well, done on the coverage is always my man. Thank you, brother. What's going on? Hey. Hey, open to chime in on this secretary of state thing. I voted for Brian camping, I'm pleased. He's gonna prevail. But I do wish you would have done himself and our state a no brainer silent and either resigned or recused themselves. You know, even just some of the talking heads around town even plan cranes. Who was just on your show? An objective professor for only love to think that Nathan deal. Call blank, Kim said you are going to step away for this. Right. Because just as you mentioned someone on the national stage listening to this. I mean, it's almost it's kind of like, I think we're gonna look back on this day and say like we did we could use to smoke on airplanes. You remember a time when the secretary of state to run for governor responsible as saying, yeah, I mean, it's kind of you know. It's bad. It's bad optically. But as Bill as Bill crane pointed out, you know, it's it's up to the local jurisdictions. It's all on them. But, but you know, if she's voting official. At the end of the day, and that just has a bad ring to it. And I can say that objectively having voted for just if. Listen, I know Brian Kamm personally. He's a good, dude. I I don't know Stacey Abrams that well, she seems very accomplished. I would have I'm not gonna tell you who I voted for. But I would not have been angst ridden if either of them one, I think they're both qualified. They're both fine. But at the end of the day, the secretary of state certifies the election, whether there's any anything nefarious going on probably not, but the optics are bad on the situation. And I I don't know if I was advising secretary cabinet said, listen, I don't know if you have to resign the post, but just say, I'm not gonna have anything to do with the governors election. I'm going to recuse myself much like your buddy Jeff Sessions did in. Let's again, I don't wanna get too political. But yesterday, it was kinda crazy where you here all night. Chuck what? Yeah. What time are you here till three a I think we stop doing stuff about two AM to AM and longer here till three. So I I was off last night, obviously. And I got to sleep in which was fantastic. Were you here last night? No, okay. Good. So I woke up at like seven oh to like right as the polls closed and. I was dipping into the radio watching TV, and it was pretty fascinating. 'cause it was so similar to twenty sixteen. Very so I'm watching CNN. I'm watching FOX. I didn't check out MSNBC. I don't really ever watched them. I did good ABC TV ABC news to do it. And it was it was an interesting thing. Because so on CNN John king is standing in front of the big board or whatever, you know, which I think is pretty cool. He the touch thing. I love that zeroes in. Yeah. Just the gas. Here's whitefish Montana. They have seven hundred people, you know, I love so nerdy. But I love it. And he's like, well, you know, the Florida numbers come in and Gillam. Yes was a big early on the Santa's and John king's like, and I'm like, do you not remember what happened in twenty sixty the exact same thing Hillary Clinton up by thirteen points? And then and then it's like, then the panhandle comes in. It's like all right now, he's down by two, you know, who's like like, I I knew what was going to happen. And the same thing with Texas and Beto Bego better Bilo. Beto beto. I either like he's Mike guys come on. Like, we've been down this road before it's not, you know, we've seen this story unfold before is is laughing about Florida. Somebody said you guys calm down. When one's way ahead or whatever Florida always ends up. You know, fifty point one forty nine point nine and the actual tiny said Florida could be voting on ice cream and a kick in the head. That does it just get so close that down because it's always going to be a matter of like a few thousand votes. I think the question is a because the the the polling whiffed on this one again, and there's a segment of people that are not getting reached by the pollsters or people are lying to the pollsters. Right because they're lying. I think they're not getting reached. So so what segment of this Republican demographic is not getting reached? Because it's it's like a, you know, a four point swing last time in this time where there's they undercount Republicans like four four percentage point heart of the problem is they used they would get it correctly and still be within the margin of error. So they would say Gillam is up Disentis. Yeah. Within the now, it's getting flipped where the guy that's is behind still within the margin of error is somehow missing this like two to three percent where they're still within the mardi words market. Yeah. The poll was right. It was within the margin of error. But they're missing that two to three percent flip that would make it or not getting better sweet part of the bat. Yeah. Exactly hit this week. Where they would they would have had to Santa's lower Gill because Gillam was like it was like a one and a half point lead in the polls going up any one of losing by one point or if so it's definitely within that margin of error. But it was the same thing in the two thousand sixteen presidential race. There's something and I do trust polling because when I went to school with the mayor's poll is it's a big deal. Like, that's and I know how it works in scientific. But it's there's some segment of the Republican population. There the Republican voting block that is not getting represented in this. And it's that three or four percent that they're they're not hitting the sweet spot of the bat. Like, they should have nailed Disentis is when they should have nailed, I guess, they got Ted Cruz when pre- pretty good. I think it was actually tighter than than thought. Anyway, we'll finish up the political talk. I don't wanna get too heavily involved. I wanna talk about your relatives in Texas, though. I wanna know what they thought about that longoria four zero four eight seven zero seven fifty one eight hundred WSB.
