Producer Andrew Reacts to the Arrest of Rep. George Santos

"Right, so I want to get into this George Santos thing. Listen, I don't think anybody's denying the fact that George Santos has been caught in life. He's admitted it. I think he is a liar. I'm not going to defend it. But what do you want us to do? We got to slim majority in the House. It's a tricky situation. But what I want to call out is the fact that 6 years to invest in investigate Hunter Biden and we got zilch so far. We are having to beg plead investigate subpoena just to get an inch in that case with Hunter Biden because we're being stonewalled by the Department of Justice. Meanwhile, George Santos is like a hundred, what? Four months? Four months in George Santos gets is now in custody in New York, facing 20 years and the allegations against him are just phenomenal. I mean, this stuff is just, I mean, listen, let me set the stage. Play cut 91 will lay out the charges against him. George Santos is in custody and this indictment has been on sealed. I want to give you some quick details as we're going through the paperwork. He is charged on a 13 count indictment, according to those court documents, the charges include 7 counts of wire fraud, three counts of money laundering, one count of theft of public funds and two counts of making materially false statements to the house of representatives okay, so no clear example of this two tiered system of justice that we have in America, then this case right here. You don't have to like George Santos. You don't have to defend his lying. We're not going to do that here. But they four months and the guys face in 20 years. Meanwhile, Ilhan Omar credible allegations would suggest married her brother. She's been accused of multiple campaign finance violations, Lion up to wazoo, and guess what? She's still serving happily away in Minnesota. In the House of Representatives, Ilhan the ingrate. Saved by America hates America. It doesn't matter. We don't do anything about it. Showtime! UK readies pomp for King Charles III's coronation

"Britain's royal family turns the page on a new chapter with the coronation of King Charles the third. Charles ascended the throne when his mother Queen Elizabeth II died last year, but the coronation on Saturday is a religious ceremony, the provides a more formal confirmation of his role as head of state and titular head of the Church of England. The pomp, pageantry and symbolism of the occasion, date back to the medieval times, when English kings wielded great power, Charles says he wants to slim down the monarchy, and his coronation was planned accordingly, but it will still feature all native regalia and be attended by heads of state and royals from other nations. Poll Shows Joe Biden Trailing Behind Republicans in Upcoming Election

"Joe Biden is definitely not going to win. In a fair election, he will not win, right? I would argue that the poll already says from breitbart said 67% of the nation feels that we're on the wrong track with Joe Biden. There's other reports that says, I've been this very clear. I got to figure out where to report it. I got a bunch of material right here. But the nation, after a poll was taken when Joe Biden made the announcement look very slim. For mister Joe Biden, I got it in here somewhere. I already got to flip through all these pages to find it. I kind of want to wait to find it, but I might have to move on because it's taken too long. I'll figure it out in a minute and I thought I had the paper right here. All right, I think I found this is Biden trail trails generic Republicans by 6 points ahead of the expected 2024 launch. Republican candidates 47% Biden 41 percent. I'm going to find this thing. I have to look for it in a minute. Anyway, Joe Biden is not, you know, it's not favorable. He's not favorable in the Republican side or at least in general republic and it's not favorable to people who have been living through the Biden economy to buy an administration, which I would argue ain't worth a dime.

"Let's get in, let's get back to the subject at hand. And yeah, it just takes them. Let's get back to the subject at hand. Donald Trump getting indicted. Okay, perfect. Donald Trump getting indicted. I think it's going to, let me just say this. If somehow they can indict him, this is what is kind of confusing, right? Because you can be in jail and still run for president. Now your chances of winning, I think, is very slim. Donald Trump is the only one that can pull this off. But you could be in jail and still run for president. So there's nothing that's going to stop him from running for president steel. Now, these blue head monsters probably think that they can, but in reality, there's nothing that's going to stop him. I think that what's going to happen is two things may happen, right? My maga that Donald Trump is going to gain so much momentum, it's not going to even be funny, and he's going to blow everybody out of the water. That's my maga, QAnon side. And then my other side is like, this is not good for Donald Trump because some people are not going to be able to overlook the indictment. Some people are not going to want to support him because of this and they don't care about the policy. Now that's not me or you, because I don't care what you do, bro you can run for president in prison. That can't be no worse than Joe Biden. "slim" Discussed on The Economist: The Intelligence

"Down there y'all on roads, bridges, railroads, dams, power stations, all financed with Chinese money and built by Chinese companies. But suddenly mister C's hallmark foreign policy seems to be undergoing some belt tightening. China is undergoing a massive rethink of its overseas lending program. Kerry and Richmond Jones writes about finance and economics for The Economist. Really, we're in a new era now, one in which poor countries which are already struggling to pay back what they owe will be overlooked. The focus is now on profitable projects richer countries and strategic gain for China. So before we look at where things are headed, let's talk about where they were. What did Chinese lending used to look like? China has a long history of overseas lending and it's gone by lots of different names in that time. There was the going out strategy in 1999, then the community of common destiny. That was in 2011, swiftly overshadowed by Xi Jinping's vision of a Chinese belt and road stretching across the whole world in 2013. Throughout this period, even as the slogans change, one type of project dominated, infrastructure built by Chinese firms funded by Chinese loans. China has given loans for literally everything you can think of all the way from the mega metro. That's a railway in Saudi Arabia. It was built to cost of about $16.5 billion by a construction firm that once actually laid tracks for Mao, all the way to the start of bandar, a shiny new city in the Malaysian state of johor. It's an attempt to establish a rival to Singapore but underground. So all of these big projects all over the world all told come with a big price tag. Massive. According to our estimates, the world owed China's 8 biggest state owned banks at least 1.6 trillion by 2019. That's the equivalent around 2% of global GDP. Because the kind of stuff that China lends for is built by Chinese firms. The money almost never leaves the country. So that should work for everyone, right? And at first it did. State run banks were flush with dollars from rocketing exports and the financial crisis and state run construction giants got more business and a guaranteed profit. The boss of both also score points with officials and the officials, they got huge diplomatic pull over borrowers. Loans flow to Africa in particular, which was home to receptive governments and a wealth of untapped resources. But as you say, in that picture, everybody's a winner, why change the formula? Because there was one big problem. Those construction companies that we were talking about, the bit of the lending system that dealt most with the borrowers because they were doing the building. They had absolutely no skin in the game. If a loan went sour, banks lost money, officials were embarrassed, but the builders still got their cut. It was guaranteed. There was just no reason to check if what they were building was sensible, let alone profitable. So they built big ports, roads, cities for governments that just didn't have a chance of paying them back. Even before coronavirus struck, construction projects got iced. China began to reign in the program, but to do so, they had to stop banks lending because they just couldn't tame the construction companies. Okay, so how to fix that giant expensive loophole that what is the new system? What's the new idea? A new slogan. There are loads of slogans and they're all about sensibleness, sustainability, strategy, officials have told construction firms that future belt and road projects should resemble meticulous drawings. And another one, mister G said. Small is beautiful. So Sino sure, a state run insurer. Now refuses to allow loans to countries that are already heavily indebted to China. I construction firms have to take a stake in the projects that they work on, which gives them skin in the game. And it's already working. According to Boston University, projects are getting physically smaller as in their square footage is contracting. So that's what it's like on the side of the planners and the lenders. What about for the borrowers? Well, how does the scene change? The map of overseas lending is being redrawn. Borrow is a fundamentally changing. They now fall into two camps. There are those with a good chance of repaying, or those for which lost money is a price worth paying in itself for diplomatical military advantage. Banks are going to fresh commodity sources, places from which Chinese firms are able to Dodge western trade tariffs like Malaysia and Indonesia, Latin America is great for minerals. Loans to friendly countries with limited geopolitical use Angola, Venezuela. They've dried up, but the money is still flooding into the China Pakistan economic corridor, a label for a $60 billion of mega projects in a country that already owes more than 30% of its external debt to China. And it's because Pakistan is such a useful ally. It kind of strips away any sort of pretense that it might ever have been held that any of this was just good business. Like in the pure financial sense or goodwill or aid by another means and so on. It's much more nakedly sort of machiavellian in its intent now. Yeah, there's almost like a stratification of borrowers, right? So you get the good business borrowers where it just very clearly is about business for these Chinese firms. And then you get the second underbelly of borrowers. Where they are kept permanently indebted. Places like Pakistan, Djibouti. So yes, you're right. The motivations are becoming much, much clearer, and much more fragmented. So do all of these changes reveal what has been said before about Chinese infrastructure projects like this that it's essentially a debt trap to get nations indebted to them. I think it really depends on what you think a debt trap is, right? A lot of people think that China is a really malignant, big, bad, scary lender that there's something written in its loan contracts that is a trap in itself. So maybe a clause that means that these countries have to keep quiet or not borrow from other people. When you look at how loan contracts work, China's are no less or more scary than the World Bank or the IMF or America. What actually just happened and the crisis of Chinese lending is that there is so much of it and it came on so fast. Some of it was useful, some of it wasn't. So it's not plainly a debt trap, but it's also not strictly about business. How to make sense then of China's new lending policies. It's completely true that Chinese banks previously lent to poor countries for massive useless projects. One unknown is where the China's officials will be able to resist building massive projects once again. But at the same time, China also lent for massive, really useful projects, such as dams and roads in countries that couldn't borrow from anyone else because they couldn't really pay back any one at all. And those countries, which now have no one to finance their big development projects, are going to miss the old way of doing things. Kerry, thank you very much for your time. Thank you very much for having me. Business travel is closer to pre-pandemic levels than leisure travel is. Yet corporate travel policies are shifting in the face of an uncertain economic climate. Supreme Court seems ready to sink student loan forgiveness

"The Supreme Court seems ready to sink President Biden's plan to wipe out or reduce student loans held by millions of Americans. Lower courts have blocked the plan, estimated to cost $400 billion over 30 years. The high court's conservatives appear skeptical of the administration's right to use the COVID-19 emergency to broadly cancel debt from chief justice John Roberts, who several times mentioned the program's cost. Half a $1 trillion to justice Brett Kavanaugh, suggesting the administration simply bypassed Congress's refusal to authorize the program by creating a massive new one. And that seems problematic. The president's only hope for moving forward with the plan appears to be the slim chance that the court rules the individuals and states challenging the program do not have the legal right to sue. "We have so many other producers that have the same story in each one of them are different because they know exactly why they got into it. Thank you. You bet. Slim, I have a question. It's a long similar lines, but first let me just say I'm a huge fan of grass fed beef and your efforts. So good job, what totally appreciate everything you're doing. Myself and a few other bitcoiners have talked about this idea of buying some land, raising some grass fed cattle to secure food supply for ourselves and friends and family. None of us have a ranching background. But have a passion for this kind of food a way for bitcoiners that maybe wanted to come together to invest in a plot of land to partner with farmers that are part of the Bitcoin initiative. That are looking for additional acreage to manage. Yeah, so I think that's a good way to approach this. And thanks, Paul. I appreciate your feedback. One thing that I see really because we do stick pointers were ready to innovate, right? We're ready to innovate in these times and it's the perfect opportunity of a lifetime right now to start feeding our communities again by basically being those producers. One thing that I came up with in the beef initiative and that's going to have a lot of legs for moving forward. It's called the IM Texas slim foundation. What it is, it's a nonprofit trust foundation that a lot's grants to producers and ranchers. The first one that gets this grant, it's a $10,000 grant that Jason Rick of Rick ranchers gets to use this year. It's based on education. What we're doing is we're building an educational apparatus that basically is letting the rancher producer be the educator instead of the institutional. The institutions and academics that got us here that are basically controlled by the multinational chemical and grain companies. But what we do have is plenty of conversations that are going on across the nation right now within the beef initiative. There's so much unused land in the United States that could be leveraged into basically people wanting to go out and basically building a protocol saying, hey, I don't own land, but what we do is we have a group of guys here. We have access. There's plenty of cattle in the United States, folks. You can get cattle anywhere you want. That's never going to be a hard part, especially being part of the beach initiative.

"Republicans have won a slim majority in the U.S. House I'm Lisa dwyer More than a week after election day Republicans have now secured the 218th seat needed to flip the U.S. House of Representatives that returns the party to power in Washington and gives conservatives leveraged blunt president Joe Biden's agenda It also is likely to spur a flurry of promised investigations However a threadbare majority will pose immediate challenges for GOP leaders and could complicate the party's ability to govern Republicans are now on track to cobble together what could be the party's narrowest majority of the 21st century rivaling 2001 When Republicans had just a 9 seat majority the full scope of the party's majority may not be clear for several more days or weeks as

The Way Forward for Republicans After Midterm Debacle.

"Now, you are a veteran of the house. And you know the house as well as anybody and this house because you are fairly recently a member of this house. 5 years now. 6 years ago. What should the GOP House leadership expect of their members in this run up to an election for leadership? They should expect them to make sure that mentions that. The reason they went there. This is the thing folks lose track of when they just go on Twitter or rant. They lose check if they came for a mission. The mission that everyone talked about was stopping the Biden policies. He's made clear. He's not going to stop them, right? He said, am I going to change? I'm not going to make any change. The mission is to stop Joe Biden's policies and to begin to lay out a forward look, not rare we're looking forward looking vision for America. It's what the candidate two one campaigned on and it's the task that they have in front of them. And that's going to be hard because it's going to be a very slim majority. I have seen this in Congress when you have a slim majority. Everybody thinks they're the deciding vote. They can get exactly what they want. Then we should rally around the traditional American Republican value set, make clear to the American people why Joe Biden has failed them and here is our actual no BS solution to fixing those things. It's what we missed on Tuesday night.

"And then if you don't want to buy from us, then do a search on our producer page. Say, hey, I got these guys in Missouri. I got this person I found. In Idaho, we've got them basically coming in from ever state and say, hey, man, they're right down the road from me. And so what we're doing with the beef initiative, we are, we're building communities. What we're trying to do, we want every community now, that's how we win this game. We don't do it with the 300 or $600 million processing center that's owned by the producers. No, we go through there and we put a establish a processing center in a market demand and a consumer demand on a community based level. And that's what we're having a lot of success and it really is taking shape. Absolutely. Where can we some people to find you if they want to either talk to you more about some of this stuff or they just want to follow along as you keep building them? Well, we have a lot of touch points now. We've created a new media company that we're going to do an audio docuseries on Twitter that's at TX slim media. And then, of course, my substack, which started it all as Texas slam substack dot com. That's where you can read from the very beginning as far as the harvest of deception. I read it twice. Did you, I read the first time and I said hey, I got to go back. There's a lot in there. Your Twitter account? Yeah, it's at modern team man. And then, of course, we have the beef initiative, which is at beef initiative. And one thing I want to point out is doing these I call them a summit now. We're having our next one at wide out pastures that I spoke of in this September 16th through 17th and 18th. We have will Harris himself. We have Adam curry. It's going to be speaking there. We have people have a heritage woman series. We have the ranchers coming in. We have bitcoiners that are going to be speaking mad Odell and several other Bitcoin are spoken. So we're giving education across the board that are interactive conferences that events and now it's basically a food intelligence summit is what it is. So we're only selling a hundred tickets and we want people to show up. And we've had basically that many people and whenever they leave these summits, their lives are changing. And so that's why we're growing is because it's grassroots. And it's happening. So you can go to the beef initiative dot com website and you can look

"I still think on balance like people that are rockets qatar. To be you know before Gaza wars and and and you know we have a capacity to help them shoot rockets down. That would kill civilians like that. That seems like the better use of our military i. I'm pro iron dome Couple more things alternativefacts going along so this story about burma are are caught. My ben so a federal judge ordered facebook to release records of facebook accounts connected to anti ryan j violence in in burma. Facebook fought the release saying it violated privacy law. The judge basically laughed at them and that argument. Like oh you guys in privacy got enough so the rangers are a muslim minority group in burma back in two thousand seventeen more than seven hundred. Thirty thousand of them were driven out of mar into bangladesh. There were widespread reports of war crimes and atrocities against their injured by the military. There's an effort underway to prosecute myanmar at the international court of at the hague under the nineteen forty eight convention on genocide. Un human rights. Investigators say facebook played a key role in spreading hate speech that cemented the violence against More broadly you know the military coup in i keep saying them interchangeably burma. Yeah me our our More broadly this military coup is ongoing. You know the crackdown against Regular people is ongoing after. I think eight months the u. n. High commissioner for human rights estimates. That eleven hundred protesters have been killed but the united nations just can't do anything about it. They're paralyzed because russia. And china sell the burmese military bunch of weapons and they block any meaningful action security council so basically wanted to bring the story up. We haven't talked about in a while Vent about facebook for a minute because you know. They are also being accused of allowing incitement on their platform in ethiopia. Yeah wall blocking release of evidence about that. Same kind of deadly rhetoric and behavior in burma. And it's infuriating. So if you wanna dip in the back catalogue The episode four of missing america My pockets of you guys is all about disinformation and hate campaigns in and burma And it was central. I mean basically like there was a massive effort to gin up. Hate of the ranger to kind of conspiracy theories there's fake news about ranjha. Men raping buddhists women things that kind of whip the population of this frenzy. At the same time there's ethnic cleansing happened and facebook. Did nothing really very little to curb this. And when i travelled to myanmar to work on a story. I was writing for the atlantic like that. Facebook had no employees in the country barely. Yeah they had to people who are in in. I think singapore that came like once or twice a year mainly to make sure that the government let facebook be. They're like they're just didn't seem to care. You know that this is happening And to me like the long portend here is like is liability that like essentially. This is an important step towards trying to set a precedent that facebook has some responsibility. And and i think with government regulation. It should be legal responsibility for things like whether or not like an ethnic cleansing campaign is being orchestrated on platform. And i think that you know. The times did a good investigation. That identified that the burmese military was behind A lot of this hate campaign so so yeah it's a positive step forward released. The documents Another update because i'm basically had questions about this subject for you so The washington post reported that the cia recalled its vienna station chief because of inattention cases of so-called havana syndrome syndrome is this mysterious. Illness seems to manifest as headaches nausea like traumatic brain injury in his reportedly afflicted Around two hundred. Us intelligence officers diplomats or other serving abroad. Congress now authorized money for treatment Tony blinken the secretary of state reportedly net with a bunch of department officials who have been suffering from the disease Their reports staffer traveled with. Ci director bill burns a trip to india. Came down with symptoms. That was weird David cohen the cia is deputy director. Said the agency's getting closer to figuring out what's happening but not close enough yet to make a judgment or a public judgement so scarce stuff it is a and it's important checking in because this keeps popping up and i like look they need to You know what. I hope they're doing is like that. There's a clear someone is in charge of this because it kind of felt like definitely the trump years and in the beginning of biden khazar. Just getting their offices like didn't feel like someone own vis in a clear way in the us government like And i think it does. As i've said the we need some answers here like this is a weird thing that just going to be a part of the backdrop. Yeah yeah frequent workout and tell us what you know. And don't know you know i. 'cause i the workforce of these places worried i mean. I talked to diplomats. I talked intelligence. People like people are worried and they they they want some some additional information or some degree of assurance. Yeah they wanna feel listen to and yeah treated like they're you know. These are just symptoms manifesting of stress. I mean look these. Those kinds of things have happened before but so many people are suffering from this syndrome. Now that its own talk you know. Some cases are probably are that you know someone had something else. They had food poisoning but clearly some of these cases are because of something that is being done to just the scale of this suggests that yeah another issue we talk about a couple of times. Is this growing spyware spy software for profit industry so the industry leader is a company called the group good for them. Industry leader Grit yelp reviews. It was started by a bunch of former israeli intelligence people. They claim the softwares used attract bad. Guys that is bullshit. The pegasus spy software that they created keep showing up on devices used by journalists and human rights activists. The story that we wanted to highlight is a woman named ala. Al seek This is according to a great report in the guardian so so she was the executive director of aol. It's a nonprofit. Advocating for human rights in the us in the middle east tragically died in a car accident. June but a recent examination of her phone found that she had been hacked by the government. A government client of the nfl group back in twenty fifteen. So then i know you flag the story you know. Maybe this will come up. And jake sullivan's trip to the is i would hope out. I mean constantly. I because if you if you read the story to like what it speaks to is that she felt like shoes beings prevail and she was and kind of you know paranoid with good reason and some of her friends suggested that that might have contributed her due to what happened to her And look it's a reminder that like the the the the yelp reviews you know would be like five stars via or bonn. Muhammed bin salman nbc. You know ziad like the. Ua puts on a huge. You know show to the west. About how much more kind of modern and and in some ways liberal they are And you know if you travel through abu dhabi that's what you experience but this is a reminder that there's a very dark autocratic undercurrent even harassing female human rights activists outside the country london and and i think any analysis of stuff like pegasus. And so there's a lot of traffic runs through saudi uae. And so to me the stores where flagging both to honor the courage of of activists from those places but also to kind of be the reminder that like there's a nexus here of you know That runs through the gulf in hungary russia. You know the the that is is uncomfortable because it's it's not far away. This is happening in london. It's happening in washington. I'm sure you know it's happening on our country's yeah yeah. Mohammed gave pegasus bone sauce. So let's end with a little more Trump book news. It's given us so much lately bent so the latest book is from stephanie grisham. She worked on the trump campaign than she was milanez. Press person then she was the first white house press secretary in history who never held a white house briefing when they said this book was coming up by the way i didn't remember who she was and it's pretty extraordinary that i forgot the name of someone.

"You know this is this is going to sound creepy but growing up. I would have to put Bill Cosby on the on the show. I think we're going to have Bill open and so we can get him the hell out of there. So it doesn't have some. Yeah, yeah, I don't milk have to go cause me David Letterman and Seinfeld very interested in a Seinfeld was the one I would watch as. And I'm like, all right, if this guy seems normal, if he's doing it I can do it. You know, like just regular guy, you know, he wasn't wacky on stage or anything like that, but those are three guys. I mean, they're all, you know, relatively clean comedians. Yeah. What influenced you to be a clean comedians. You know what? When I, when I was watching them and and, and, and then I started in guys, other comedians. Say, if you can walk You can make a living at it. And that was my game leader. Yes. And so I used to and then I started opening for Brian Regan on the road and I'd watch him just blow the place away for an hour, being clean. And so, then in June against another, guy's been pretty good to me. And he's worked very clean. So, so my, my three were Moms Mabley, Penny, Youngman and character character. I gotta have him. We want to hear my Carrot Top stories. Yeah. So, I forget what, Carrot Tops real name is but so I have a college agent years ago and she comes out to dinner and she's very good friends with carrots home. She's like, has been working with him for years and so she's telling this story but using Carrot Tops real name. She's like, oh, he's out in Vegas, and he just got Thompson. Yes, Scott Thompson. Just did the show and then all of a sudden came back in his dressing room. There was a woman in the shower and he didn't know what to do and my wife just goes who is who is this now? She's like, oh well, you know him as Carrot Top and wife goes, oh I hate Carrot Top off. But agents right here, you don't hate, I love that kind of brutal. And that's that's the funniest shitt on earth when it happens, naturally. Like yeah, you know, and she didn't, you know, she didn't know what she was just an actual honesty. I actually my, my three, some on stage would probably be Steve Martin. Yeah, Sam Kinison. George Carlin in that order. Yeah, cuz I don't work clean. You know. I'm yeah, I love. I love dirty comix to, you know what I mean? I love dirty. I'm dirty. I'm and I'm sick of me right now. I'm down. 30000, I Got Dirt coming off the face, everything. Yeah. "Bring home with their families. My wife's like he lived in this house twenty years. You know what? Kind of paper towels we use. Like I'll do you one better. I don't even know where we keep the paper towels. They're not right, but I think I use my t-shirt now. What? What? Release, variety of paper towels? Did she really want you to get a new? Do not remember after having that hard experience know. So behind the scenes of that joke is yeah, my wife just came home and took The third time, buying the wrong kind, she just held him up. She, why do you keep doing this? And I'm like, doing what? Like, you keep buying the wrong kind and I'm like, it doesn't matter. It's a paper towel like, yeah. And then she said, no, I like this kind of, all right? And then you go back and the quicker, picker-upper, you go, you don't let your wife, you go to your notebook and write something down, you know, my wife makes a very specific list and she doesn't just say shouldn't just say cuz I've done the same thing paper towels, she's like, oh, these are the cheap fines, you know, you know, she'd make a list and say, which kind it is and it has a this picture on. I mean she's a very specific. I have her. I have mine send me screenshots of exactly what it is. If I have a question mark about, like, so, what's the difference between the three of them? Which one you want? Just send me a picture of my wife will do the exact same thing with the yogurt. Cuz I have two girls now, one is twenty. And one is, let's say younger than 20, she's probably 18. Yep. And they're very specific into the yogurt. They want a job. And it's it's a nightmare. That's just the wall of yogurt and you have to bring this home if you bring you've ruined their week. You know, when it comes to Yogurt, it's a whole different culture and that's why boys are easier. Cuz boys, really don't care. You can, if they say bring home cheese, you bring home cheese or going to eat whatever you put in for. Yeah, it's Chase. Got damaged. What is that? Jesus ate the cheese? That's generically to. I used to go to the Stop & Shop stores, you know, they had their jobs and, and back in the day, they had their brand and there was a, a thing called Stop & Stop Shop, right? It's at ShopRite beer. Dot said, didn't say lager or pilsner or anything about generic beer? This is how old I am ShopRite beer so I can give me some beer. I don't imagine what that must have seemed like, just a cut below. It was beer. That's this couple of shape. You're in college again and the guy you don't care. If someone brings ShopRite beer, like yeah, throw me one of those. Anybody. Yeah, well I was drinking out of a cave down in Florida with at the fantasy camp, fish was standing next to the the cake literally for three hours and I don't know if he's kept pouring beer into his cup over and over and over again for 3 hours. Finally, he he hits are he opens the thing that goes? He says I guess it's time to go to bed bath. That should have that kind of limit on your life. I'm working a cruise ship down in Tampa and I walked by where the Yankees have their spring training. Yeah. And the gates are open and there's people in this cheering and it's, you know, whatever 10:00 in the morning, and I go home. Walk up, no one stopped me. So I'm like, see what's going on. And there was the Yankee Fantasy Camp was going on and it's one of the funniest things I've ever witnessed in my life. Middle aged fat, man, stuffed into Yankee uniforms with Yankees Legends, just standing out the field, not giving a shit, a coat on and all the campers look like stump Merrill. You know I did that experience. It was it was I did meet a lot of good, good guy but I tell you are so sore. You don't realize what baseball does to your muscles until you try to leg out a an infield hit yeah at age whatever that's a terrible thing at age whatever when you're not doing that anymore. Did you guys happen to see the LeBron James incident where he yelled at the at the announcer the court basketball court? You see that video. Yes it is kids game. Yes his son brownie brownie. Bronny James LeBron has a son named Ronnie Ronnie. Okay, Brandon speaking of the quicker Pig Upper Brownie and he and he screamed at his kid. Well, he was at the end at the announcer. The announcer said, he, there was a foul and the announcer said something like, well, I guess you get those calls when your name is on the arena cuz it was LeBron. James built the arena that they that his son plays in which is a is a good line. I would say the same thing. Sure. Yeah, I hate went over and started yelling at him. He he got up and walked and start yelling at the announcer for saying such a thing. Of course, you know, it's LeBron James the game mind you to do. Yes. Now, if I'm the announcer, you have the microphone and I would say, we need to get LeBron Jame s scores out of the LeBron James gymnasium. Right now, he's scaring me. Yeah. It's, it's charity to kick him out of the gym. He purchased unbelievable. So, I was just wanting me to. I've never been to LeBron off the recent. Yeah, when I was, I guess you could watch it on the radio for for hating on LeBron, and hating on Manny Ramirez. And I, the reason I hated on Manny Ramirez because he's lazy. You know, he never I mean he didn't play defense, he didn't hit triples, he didn't run hard, he just hit and he's great hitter. Oh yeah, yeah. But with LeBron you can get away with being lazy and baseball. Oh sure, you off. Oh yeah, it's especially depending on your position but with LeBron, it's like hello, I won the lottery, the body Lottery, and I'm six foot eight with that with that, unbelievable and all those basketball skills. Sometimes he thinks that he's God. Like and the joke is, you know what's difference between Jesus and LeBron James? Well, Jesus, Jesus doesn't walk around La pretending LeBron James, you know? But you you I don't LeBron. We've been hearing about this kid since he was thirteen. Yeah, that was on covers of Sports Illustrated. So, of course, he's going to be a giant douche bag oil. No, man. It's just, we, we raised them in the press and, and he's gone on to win championships now. So I can only imagine that's makes it worse. Yeah. Yeah. But now he's has to take take on the political and piss off a lot of people by, you know, wage Okay, LeBron and, you know people say shut up and dribble and all that stuff. Well, just pick your spots a little better, you know, especially at, you know, you're being videotaped that game. I'm with, I put basketball any pro athletes along with supermodels. You know what I mean? Like, we don't need to hear you spin. A Christian act, exactly actors and musicians, we don't, you know, we don't need to hear you speak. Just do what you've been trained to do and let's move on when it'd be great. If politicians couldn't speak and had to use sign language all the time. Would that be so unbelievably fabulous and would you watch, have you been watching this? There's no joke at the end, if you watching, you know they always have assigned person at next year. So the press conference is going on with the the condos that collapse down in Florida. Yeah, in the lady, I Can't Take My Eyes Off the lady, who's doing sign language, you think because it's very tragic and she's just really making faces and going back and forth. Yeah, I'm not keep this on. We gotta watch her a little longer. You get a little bugger in the end of your nose and you grab it with your babies finger, you could be dead. An awful World War. Some, you don't know what you're saying these people. You know, it's unbelievable. I'd like to learn sign language. I know this we're doing this on, on the radio. I mean on audio this is work. See what I'm doing with my fists song. That's called work this hand across the chest that means love. Yeah, this means fuck you pretty much that as a middle finger. We all know that one, but I'd like to learn sign language honest to God. I think I would really have no interest. I think I would do pretty well with the hearing impaired women because they then they would have to list me. Yeah, so when I work cruise ships, sometimes they have hearing hearing impaired people off the ship and.

"I don't think you wanna where Partouche was the big chip leader and had aces the one where he really got down on himself after the because he had lost loss of the set of eights. So i'm just thinking about how he played that final table. He played it really carefully. Yeah so for example. He three bet with got called and checked called all three streets post flop on really unskilled a pretty on skateboard. Yeah another time. He had queens queen x. On like a queen six six four board and just called the recall the river back. I think i remember that and it was like what are you doing his. I don't know if he's respond or not. The answer is obviously. I can't get worse if i was anyway. So what's the point. If either a few times he has quads. Yeah it's it's terrible but the point is like the money affected him right. So i'm wondering if we sitting there also thinking about not only is vic triple barreling most of his bluffs most of the time but when when vivid actually has real hands he may be a lot tighter with his shoving. And we're giving them credit for because the money so big but he might be a little more. He's got anywhere close to at risk though. That is true like his so many more chips than than chadwick he started with a. Oh my god eighteen point five versus four and a half right. That is he doesn't have to worry about anything. Yeah that's not really. He's so many blinds. Yeah okay right. That doesn't matter for this. That's a really fair point okay. I didn't realize it was that bad. Forgot okay so it's really just if he's triple barreling all the way like this player. Obviously vivid is different. But in this spot. Maybe vivid isn't as different right. Because maybe maybe it's as simple as i'm thinking about when maria limp. Plop prop plop. How have you got. How ramalu lamb propolis. I couldn't get out man. I knew it. i just couldn't get it. I wouldn't names man. It's ridiculous you know. My my head is different than yours. It's okay so when they were on the bubble of that tournament she was just so crazy racking she would raise every hand and triple-barrel every hand and was very effective and it was incredible to watch really good players. Call hall fold. Yeah they would just fall river because they just couldn't handle it and find it. Yeah even though. It's like she's probably blocking but they didn't want to be the guy who call socks right and she was using that so even though it was obvious and it was kind of a very rudimentary planet. Seemed like she was like. I'm going to put in brush on these guys and see if it works in boy it worked perfectly classic because it works. So i'm wondering if in this case vivid is just being you know like. Yeah i'm doing. I'm doing the easy thing very straight through everything that lots of people would do here. I don't have to be more sophisticated. And i'm just gonna do that a lot because of the situation that i wonder all of that i can. I can get behind all at the same point. We just kind of surmise. That this hand that should work has made literally be the bottom of his range for calling to the river with not by rank but for calling. No i isn't that enough to fold. Yes shouldn't it be. We have to have some part of our range. We fold unless we pick up an incredible telling him or something like unless he flipped his cards over maybe were underestimating. Chadwick's willingness to call the turn..

"Obviously he's calling no question. Do we expect that he would have check raised if he made two pair on the queen or do you think he has check calls more more frequently than you might expect. I think he probably saw a bunch of check. Calls actually wanted to let vic continued a barrel especially as the chip leader to vivid absolutely. Has the nuts his chair. Yeah reasonably and really strong hands. I could see him deciding. I guess a check raise all in with two. Let's say he had nine four students or something like that i guess he turned clean four suited. Yeah because a it is a board. Be if we're losing the kingdom. Were probably getting all in on the river anyway. We're not really saving ourselves. Yeah so why. Not shut out the equity. Once i mean actual hand has equity against queen. Four yeah absolutely. So maybe maybe that's the move so so maybe check raises good now that i'm they've talked to through. Maybe actually check is fine instead of not what about if you had the not subic head king. Ten or eight ten great. Do you think that's a check razor. Check call okay so now. We're not really worried about anything. I guess we'd worry about space but whatever we're not gonna fold so it's all good if we had if nothing to protect against my only question. The only way the way it decided is do. I think is going to be triple barreling a lot if i think he is. I'm just calling if i think not. I'm going to just check right now and hope. He has a queen or something. I hope he has something real since spending again on the turn. He often has something and we have draws here. It's a pretty wet board. Yeah so that's that's my thought. What do you think yeah. I think i agree with those thoughts but because of those decisions obviously just as you know what is now second pair and it's very straightforward. It's straightforward. it's not great when the queen comes. No we don't love it. Yeah but we probably just have to call here. We assume vivid is probably not going to bet like most queens on the river anyway right for value with the pots discuss that. Promise cool so after the call the pot is three point. Five million two point nine million remaining. It's such a so much money. The rivers the six of hearts doesn't change the board really at all..

"In the middle somewhere before they came but but the questions not just the deuce. Of course it is the whole deck which is different admittedly. I also like hands at the queen doesn't actually hit. We didn't even go through but that definitely not fold. That called the flop. Like nine ten jack ten like no chance of molding those hands. They were calling anyway though for for like five or something right. They're calling it a lotta turn. Probably not all of them but a lot of turns like do. Do you actually feel like this is notably good. Are you only entertaining. This because rennie loose at it in fact what i said was. I'm somewhere in between both right so i'm only entertaining. Because he said it. I don't necessarily agree that it's bad or good card. I think it's somewhere in between. I understand why vivid would continue based on his hand and based on the fact that it's an over card which means saw a lot of the time. When should we in the big blind. He's going to have second and third pair and maybe even a bunch of as high as here. So you're pro continuing. I think i like continuing and repping what. What's the bottom of our repping. Good question can we have ace jack in bet. Let me ask that. I was thinking jack. Maybe okay like that feels about about that. I think if we have king jackets clearly like a bet and then check back the river unless we improve. I think that's right. Yeah but it's reasonable. That on i think with with with the really good jack here and of course any queen anything better. Yeah and maybe are super strong draws if we have with this by like if we have turned the would be a super strong dry here ace. Tennis spades or something like that superstrong. That sounds like a good doesn't have to be that strong. The nut flush draw an open ended. Are we at those. That sounds about right so but we're not really repping the draws right we wanna rep of course of course but those are hands that have equity. I'm just thinking out loud in terms of what we're getting. I'm not. I'm not convinced that it's good to keep betting on this card. I do feel strongly that it's a negative card for us getting to the fold against his range in general really think he has. He's got out of nine. He has he's i think he's got he's stolen. He's calling with a decent amount of them eight nine plus he's calling. I'm probably eight nine. Plus a bunch of other. He has all the nine seven nine. Six is and there's probably got. I don't know if he has all the nine five just five students after that. It's hard to know hard to know. I mean it's always true that you're gonna fold out some of the range. But i just feel like the queen is not a good car. I don't hate the but it doesn't feel like a card that's like auto but this card. It feels like the right. That's that's fair. i think because it's the queen of spades. That makes it a little bit better. Bet when we have the hand. I think based on the situationally with all the money again i. I'm if it's close at all. I wanna lean towards betting if i'm vivek vacuum maybe it's different. That's a good point. The whole money thing but rick genuinely not give shit. It's possible that he really doesn't..

"Man they give it to you ninety minutes or less. Take that money. it's all yours. Yeah joy by something or not or honolulu. It's up to you. Yeah the hoddle. Let's talk like that now. Let's be those guys. Everyone knows what i mean. I know but i hate it. Oh god nitrogen sports. Yeah you can fight with us on there too. If you want to fight about hoddle we'll be there to fight. Sometimes sometimes we'll be there in that tournament. that's for sure. yeah anyway. we'll see you there. Use the link. Get your some poker. Okay get us some more poker analysis. Which is what we're known for the poker guys. We are known for that among some folks. I'm not saying everybody. I mean a lot of people don't know who we are. Damian lillard probably knows who we i think the vast majority of the world has never heard of us and we will never hear of us but not the vast majority of the world that matters right. Oh yeah ninety percent of the people that matter of us temper percenter like on a space mission yet. And they just haven't had time to the podcast. I would guess the last five presidents the united states who we are yeah the last five dead or alive they know who we are absolutely are they all live. They are but even if they weren't vaas five alive. Yeah no george bush one dead oh damn and is that one. Clinton bush obama trump biden. Nope nope sorry. It doesn't qualify. He's he's the sixth fine. Last five biden counts as one of the last five. I win again. Why yes they all know who you are and i know this because we get we get things financial information from them bell. Get chris cards. You may get inside info from all of them. They all love us. We don't live in tampa bay. Yeah in the next two weeks. Just say if you do you have a radiation suit. Yeah i should. I'm asking it's just something that the president's we're talking about okay. All of them anyway. Yeah part is one point. Eight million after the beden. Call on the flop. The turn is not written down in my notes. Because i didn't excellent job. It was the queen of spain spades. Yeah i remember the turn is the queen of spades so obviously not the best card for chadwick not the best card for either. Although randy lou starts talking about how this is not a card that his chadwick very often trae agree with randy lou. Let's talk about it Anyway chadwick see any other options. He's always check. So i guess baked into the question of is this a card that has often is should continue betting right like is there enough old equity to continue batting right. At this point we do have a gut shot. But it's not a good gut shot with our eight we have the got shot we the aces spades which means were to doesn't have not flush draws now we wouldn't have turned not flush draw like if he had x. Speights you really want to call it a lot of flop. Maybe i'm well especially by the smallest we did and he had back doors or at least one. Okay that's nice. I guess that's good but does this card really not hit often as rennie..

"Is one point. Two million flop is jack of clubs. Nine of spades four hearts two checks. Is this for vivica or check jack. Nine for rainbow. I think it's bet there are. I mean jewish is going to have a bunch of calls for sure but you know like the four hearts is kind of an orphan cards so it's slightly less connected. We are playing at these absurdly high numbers. Like the money's this big. I think it affects everybody. Yeah so like i. If i'm the chip i'm looking at put as much pressure as possible and everyone. So i'd like betting this. I think it's this arrange neutral board or maybe even slightly tortured with a little bit. But i i just wanna bet as but this is entirely equity dial right never fully out a better hand obviously never in a million years. We've folding out a better hand. Yeah so that's an argument for maybe checking back. I just wanna win the hand. Though and we check back we may may be much harder to win it and like when we're going to if we can win by being a little bit of a bully like this is a part better time to be a little bit of a yeah. I agree with that. I just want to default towards being aggressive and the types of hands are going to fold. You don't need to charge too much. Like the king three suited hands or just going to fold. Yeah pretty much any amount. That's right and recognizes that in but three hundred km two point two. I like the sizing. Yes that's really cool because you're gonna call with seven eight no matter what right unless he bets. Like one point eight million which is not gonna do and he's gonna fold hands king three pretty much to matter what so might as well sizes three hundred k. to drik has really straightforward decision with top pair. No kicker right just call easy call. Yeah that's what he does. You already like. This could get a little difficult down the road but it's super straightforward. I've definitely been in spots in world series of poker events where i have a hand like chitwood has in the big blind stack. Like he has an a good player is open the button and then my god damn it. Yes i call. Hey what's going to happen. this sucks. Sometimes you get the double though as a result. So just gotta gotta roll with that. I feel like usually they don't go for three streets though. Give up they. They often give them the third barrel comes. It's like wouldn't you have given up. I wish you'd given up. Yeah yeah sometimes you call though. And they don't have it and then you get the big double. It's great. yeah some as you call them. They do have it a lot of time. Default what this money means to me like in the main event it would not feel so good to be calling with jack no kicker against a good player even though it's probably plus i of course it is. Yeah you always..

"G sanjay willing to the podcast. All we ask for right. It's all we ask for of the greats really it it. It's basically that's what it is. It's like you know the biggest stars. Give us these performances. Are you not entertained after that. Fourth quarter after that performance last night by kevin durant. We are entertained. I don't know where it would rank. I don't know how you wanna make it. I don't even wanna make it. I don't care what i do know is if you love basketball that guy put on a show for you and it was special. It was special was great to see and that that's why we have these conversations and debates and everything else because when you're at that level that elite level this is what inspires fans this is. What inspires people this is. What makes you watch alan. Kay and kyrie often referred to themselves as artists as artists and last night. I'm sitting there watching the game. And i'm saying to myself. This is the best single game performance in katie's career. I mean forty nine points. Seventeen rebounds ten assists. And i didn't want to break it down. You know. I love breaking down. I just sat back and said damn watching it. I started thinking about okay. Two thousand and nineteen dropped fifty versus the clippers. All right but this the way he impacted the game the amount of pressure that was on him leading into this game. James harden was out there with one leg kyrie irvings on the silent. I've you know wanted me like it was. I would say the guy stepped up but this game will go down as the moniker for katie's career it really will. Because he has this special tau offensively. He's the greatest score the game has ever seen and last night proved it. It proved discovered a guy basically last night. When i mean by that is not necessarily the points but everything else that he did. The seventeen boards at tennessee's the moving around. That's i hadn't seen katie move around like that. In a long time. In terms of getting away from people he was not just standing still waiting for the ball to company m he was going to get the ball. He actually was not in a situation last night. Where you look at and said oh this is game for this is they're they're all over and pj tucker is not letting you breathe now. He created separation. Many times over is so when you think about. I can't speak to the greatest before. Because i didn't see every single game that he's ever played. I'm not like. Jj covers the nba every single day. But for me. And my is being able as jay said to come into the game with type pressure that must have been placed on him or he might have been filling to noted okay. I'm potentially going to be out here by myself. Although harding did later on joined him but that was i mean he was on. The floor is a cardboard cutout which in the end. It certainly helped. But it wasn't like he was adding any scoring points doing things of that nature horse. Yeah it was there to support him and take some of the pressure off with them. But can you imagine going into the game because the narrative prior to the game is. What is kevin durant going to be. What is he going to do is or are we going to look at a guy after the game and say we'll see here we go. Is that the conversation that's going to be. Is it going to be had that. He isn't lebron james. he's not this. Not that candy kerry team. Oh he needed to go away from okay. See the golden state to win a big game. He had other players around well. He asked the call last night and neck. Deck question should never be brought up again as far as kevin durant never again. It should be brought up whether or not and no. It's not a championship game. But that was the closest thing that you could see to a championship that perform because i felt like it must win for both teams right. It'll game fives. Usually are when it series is tied to two but what we saw is a superstar being exactly that on that level and and for k. d. You know talking about his performance a lot of times. You don't get a lot out of him in interviews but it's you know he even understood the moment where he was what he had to do. Last night. he talked about it. After the game. I know the perception to me is that i could score the basketball. Well but You know any team that i played on. I've been asked to do pretty much. Everything from rebound into defendant initiate him to score might not be a might not do it all the time but a little bit of everything out there so i knew at some point. That coach asked me to screen rebound fan. Raina ball up scores. Shoot three Working everything i can in practice and when the coming around just got gotta be ready to pull me. I'll be ready to do anything. So tonight will learn. It was nice not lost in his also is the fact that kevin durant played the entire game. Forty eight minutes and this is as we've talked about two years. We would from an achilles rupture that for a lot of nba players. He was the best player two years ago in the world and he still has the best today. Forty eight minutes. He scored forty nine points on twenty three shots. Twenty three shots. It's not like kevin durant thirty five forty shots for forty nine points and by the way they were down. Seventeen points in the third quarter like the first half wasn't like katie was popping off and it was a prolific night. You thought bucks. We're going to beat the brakes off them. I mean the bucks defensively put together in a credible first half and then the second half. You just saw the bucks shrink and shrink and shrink. We'll discuss soggy and expand. How is the building. Because i talked about that last night. Too how important it was when you felt like this was a a wounded animal in the nets that was facing a real tough situation. You're asking now one of the stars of the big three to carry the team. Could he do it and in his own building. And i said yesterday to you're gonna need the building you gotta need them and you're gonna need that because the role players jeff green who is great Blake griffin at the end. You know got some got some things done for you as well you needed. You needed the crowd to help the supporting cast kinda rise up a little bit too. I all that together. All of that mattered. all factors. You guys watch the game. So i've been saying israel while if you guys got the same feel. I don't know if you've ever not roker park but we know okay. It's a polished version of rucker park. That is how they play. It is steph curry one of the most entertaining players in basketball. I would pay crazy money to go see him. Play our also pay crazy money. I pay crazy money. Of course i'd say it's because the way those guys play said at the beginning of the year. It's what it feels like. There's a guy on the microphone the same way it is at rucker park yelling behind. You say here comes the middle. Already yanks him like it feels like that type of environment and that was the last night. That's what we witnessed. You were a witness. It was Fourth quarter was special. I mean i was watching it from obviously from television. And you could just tell. They moved the ball around well. No ball stoppage. It was just it was just fluid. Man it was it was flowing. It was floor real. Well yeah he got into he got into it no doubt about and of course the reaction around the league via twitter you saw already on. Espn two at some of the lebron.
