"I will say a couple things about this and then we're going to have to have you back on doctor because I have so many different thoughts. As bad as it is, America's in a better spot thanks to the American founding fathers. I mean that. State based systems, you look at us versus Germany, us versus Austria. We are, we have a little bit more, let's say, access to the truth than most developed countries do, which has been a positive. I think people are starting to wake up. I really do. And I mean, you say you had three deaths out of 7000 people you've treated, is that right? And that's all ages all demographics, right? Well, let me tell you how it works. Two thirds of those patients, I didn't treat I said, your lower risk go home, you'll be fine. And a 100% of them survive. Now, the high risk group, which were all the age of 45, had medical problems, or have been vaccinated. At that time, they had a 7.5% death rate. So if you take two thirds of 7000, it's like two and a half thousand people, a little less. And you would expect a 7.5% death rate. You would expect around 200 or so more dead people. We had three. That settled several orders of magnitude less than what was predicted. So, and my data showed an 84% reduction in hospitalization and death if you didn't. And we put things in perspective. 800,000 dead Americans. We could have prevented $700,000. From even going to the hospital. Well, doctor zelenko, I think I speak for our audience listening. I wish we had more of you and more people as courageous as you. This will be my final final question. Which is there's a lot of people that are still uncertain because they are living in the nonstop propaganda campaign. They can go to Z stack dot Z stack life dot com to get more information on this. Last Charlie. Slash Charlie. That's right. For the special for the special deal for the immune system formula developed by doctors zelenko, I suppose my last question is, I mean, basically what you're saying is that this is a struggle for humanity as we know it. Is that right? This is our, you know, we grew up with some degree of freedom, freedom is previous generations paid for. Question is, will our children be free? It's not certain. And the answer is it depends are we ready to sacrifice? And it's our storming the beaches of Normandy moment. And this is a hill worthy of dying out. Because what's happening is that there's an onslaught on that consciousness. And whether or not our children will have a freedom and liberty and thrive and have the ability to live a God centered existence is at stake. And I think that it's time to all rise up and hopefully in a nonviolent way and civil disobedience say no to the tyrannical government. And honestly, the difference between us and Australia, for example, is that there's 450 million guns in the hands of decent law abiding citizens. And so that's why the demented puppet in The White House didn't send his stormtroopers and high people's houses. I think that's exactly right. And so it's time to, you know, the constitution is a divinely inspired document in my opinion. I agree. And the framers knew that the Second Amendment was there for a reason not to protect me from Charlie, but protect us from tyrannical government. And that's exactly what we have. And so we need to band together with like minded people create cities of refuge of God consciousness. And illuminate the continents of tyranny. That's exactly what's going on. It's a war against God. Amen. Doctor zelenko, incredible. Thank you so much. Z stack life dot com slash Charlie. We got to have you back on soon. Thank you again..

"Slash Charlie. One of the last things that the phenomenal and the great Rush Limbaugh, and who I got to know, personally, and I was really blessed by that. One of the last things that he said on radio was warning us about how the media is going to pivot if Barack Obama gives the green light and gives the go ahead to remove Joe Biden. This is one of the last things Rush Limbaugh ever said on radio. Play cut 95. Until I'm going to take folks, I think we're seeing enough information on the bidens. Now, to safely say that Biden will serve at the pleasure of Barack Obama. If Obama gives the green light to Democrats to take Biden out, there will be ample evidence that Biden has lied about his knowledge as family was selling his name and office with his permission and if that's in fact the case, then there's likely unreported money. That will be found. The fake news media will temporarily become hard news media if the decision is made that Biden has to step down. Until that time, they will be covering for Biden. They'll be making excuses for Biden. They'll be ignoring all the negatives you wait and then watch what happens to their ratings when that happens. Rush Limbaugh. He sought coming before anybody else. They want to remove Joe Biden and job, I believe Barack Obama has given the green light. With this right now on a very important issue, as someone who is leading to have a women's rights advocate type women's Bill of rights passed, which is very important. What is a woman very simple question that our leaders can't answer, it's Jennifer Brice, director from the independent women's law center, and she is encouraging listeners to sign the petition to get people behind this women's Bill of rights, Jennifer, welcome to the Charlie Kirk show. Hi, Charlie. Thanks for having me. All right, so Jennifer, tell us about this project and how our listeners can support. So the women's Bill of rights is a very simple document that if passed into law would codify our common sense understanding of terms like woman and female and male and mother, father, things like that nature. And it would basically also codify current Supreme Court jurisprudence on sex discrimination. And so it wouldn't change anything. It's not a big revolutionary document. It's a common sense document that, frankly, 5 years ago, I didn't think we needed, but apparently there's some confusion today about what some of these basic terms mean, and if we don't codify these terms, people are going to manipulate them and use them in unintended.

"Slash Charlie. In times of mass conflict, new structures, new things of value are not given the oxygen or the platform to be able to create and flourish and grow. One of my great concerns right now is as we go from one mass hysteria event to the other. As we go from Floyd a palooza to the nonstop COVID hysteria to now what can be coined as the Putin variant? There's an article that actually says that on the American mind, the Putin variant quote, the regime is repurposing its COVID-19 propaganda playbook. The very same kind of instruments of outrage, the same sort of descriptors, if you will. The same sort of language has been repackaged, repurposed towards having you be totally outraged show outrage against Vladimir Putin that we have to create a no fly zone over Ukraine that we have to bomb the Russian convoy. And in fact, nuclear conflict just actually might be necessary. Now, I don't know about you, but this is creating an exhausted type of civilization. Where people have had enough. From the gas prices to the inflation to the social decay to the degeneracy all around them, they want you to be exhausted. You see the elites thought that they could knock us out in one or two rounds. Let's use a boxing analogy. They thought that they could blitzkrieg us into submission. And now they are going to a different strategy. They're trying to smoke you out. They're trying to exhaust you. They're trying to bring you into the later rounds of the boxing match and win by decision. They know they are not going to be able to proverbially knock out the American patriot. There's too much will to fight. Instead, they think that they can exhaust you. They can make you say, I am so sick and tired of just being sick and tired. The outrage, the social media, let's say, push notifications that deteriorate human relations. It's not healthy for a civilized nation to always be in this posture of table pounding mass hysteria. Tucker Carlson dived into this even deeper and he said this in cut 40 he said Tucker talks about how many Republicans in Washington D.C. are part of the pro war faction that could be more radical than Joe Biden and how they're not representing their conservative voters and it can hurt them in the midterms. Play cut 40. Now Republicans in Washington to their eternal shame. Have no problem with any of this. In fact, many of them are more for war with Russia than Joe Biden seems to be. That is a disgrace. It will hurt them in the midterms. It will hurt them on some deeper level because it does not serve the interests of this country. A war fought on behalf of democracy that ignores the will of the country fighting it. Republicans are not representing their voters when they move to a position that's way more warlike than Joe Biden's. When they embrace the lunacy that could really hurt this country. Tucker also talked about and cut 39, he highlighted how there's been wars all across the world last 5 years and that no one has heard about them because they're not important enough. Lost in the relentless focus on war in Ukraine, by the way, is any perspective about the world or war, which is always lacking in D.C., but never more so than now. The fighting in Ukraine is terrible, of course you're seeing it happen. No decent person could fail to be moved by the images. But it's not unique. It's not the only war in recent memory or even currently in progress right now. Many thousands died in the 2020 Nagorno Karabakh war. That was between Azerbaijan and Armenia ever heard of it. It ended less than a year and a half ago. No coverage. There's been a gruesome war underway in Ethiopia for a couple of years now. It's again in progress as we speak, tens of thousands of women have been raped by militiamen, many of them intentionally infected with aids can it get worse than that? How many people have died in the war in Ethiopia? We don't really know because no one intermediate cares enough to keep track. It's just Ethiopia. And then he said something that really went viral. He said, quote, all of us are equal in the eyes of God, the death of someone in Yemen is just as important as the death of someone in Ukraine. But unless you run the American security apparatus because according to the American national security apparatus, they want a hyper focus on Ukraine, but not on Yemen, play.

"It. So senator, I got to ask you an unrelated question, but you're more qualified than anyone else to answer it. Where is Doctor Fauci? He seems as if he's just kind of vanished and disappeared. You know, he still for the mandates, he still for centralized planning. He still is a menace to the country. And I can promise you one thing. If we take over in November, I'm going to investigate every piece of paper he's laid his hands on. We're going to find out about the gain of function research and the Wuhan lab in China. We're going to also investigate the cover up of Fauci and doctor Collins to try to make sure nobody knew what was going on in that lab. And we're going to get to the bottom of this, not because I have any sort of dislike for him. I have a dislike for what he stands for, but I want to make sure that we never have this happen again. I think they could create a virus in a lab that could destroy our country. They could destroy the world. I mean, could destroy civilization as we know it. And I'm not alone in saying this. Other scientists who are not politicians who are not partisan are saying the same thing. So I can promise you this. We are going to get to the bottom of it, but I don't have the power to investigate unless we were to take over the Senate, so it is incredibly important. I think that we get people in position of power. Mike Lee, myself, we will be chairman of committee if we can win in November. And we will. If you don't know what ExpressVPN is, well, it's a virtual private network. That's what a VPN is. ExpressVPN is an app that encrypts a 100% of your network data and reroutes it through a secure and encrypted server. This is especially important when you're on public Wi-Fi. Not only can admins see everything you're doing, but hackers connected to the same network, you can also steal your account logins and financial details. Because they engineered their own VPN protocol, all the other major VPNs use the same off the shelf protocol. This level of bespoke technology is exactly what allows ExpressVPN to provide superior speeds and enhanced privacy and protection. It's 2022 and you need a VPN every time you go online. And the reason why it takes so long is you need to vet whether or not it causes long-term consequences. Infertility or other cancers or other complications. And so let me give you some history. In the 1960s, the RSV vaccine was developed, it killed a more children than the virus. And when they investigated it was because of antibody dependent enhancement. In the 70s there was no fever virus vaccine. It was given to adults. It killed more adults than the virus. And when they investigated cos antibody, dependent answering. All the coronavirus vaccines in the past and animal studies, a large percentage of animals that died because of antibody dependent enhancement. Now let's vaccine that's been deployed under human race. Wouldn't you think it's a good idea to exclude antibody dependent enhancement from the human race before you give the vaccine to 7 billion people? Well, that wasn't done. It's hard to believe. Well, I didn't choose COVID. It shows me. I'm a family board certified family physician plus 20 years in an upstate New York community. And in March of 2020, my community got hit and I found myself in the epicenter of the largest most concentrated outpatient code outbreak in the country. And at that time, if you recall, there was no treatment. So all we were telling patients that go home take Tylenol when you get sicker, go to the hospital, get on the respirator and New York area, 80% were dying. That didn't seem like a very good treatment approach.

I want to ask the question of how aware are the Democrats. How aware is the current regime? Now I had a conversation with some recently where they said Charlie Biden doesn't know what she's doing. Now this is the great debate, isn't it? Does Biden know and when I mean Biden? I don't mean him personally, okay? I mean the machine. Obviously he personally he doesn't know if he's president or the janitor or whatever. We go on endlessly about that. In fact, I think there's an overemphasis on Biden's mental decline. We know he's not suited. People still voted for him. Now, do I think that it was a legitimate election and not interfered with? Of course not. We've been through that in great detail. The point is that some people still voted for a man that mentally should not be president, not the point. The question is, the regime in the machine, the regime slashed the machine, how do they think things are going? How do they think the state of the country is? Now, recent approval ratings show Joe Biden anywhere between 38 to 43% in battleground states even lower. I know what your immediate reaction is, who on earth are those 38% that still support Joe Biden outside of lobbyists insider dealers and try lawyers? Biden is being accused the Biden machine of not knowing what they are doing. Now, I think uncertain issues that could be the case. I think that there could

"Slash Charlie. Buster Douglas, that name might mean something to you, and he was known for one performance at one time that shocked the world. Buster Douglas was one of the let's say, most incredible sports stories of the last 30 years. A heavy underdog. buster Douglas was up against Mike Tyson. At a fight in the Tokyo dome, Mike Dyson bursts, buster, Douglas. It was a professional boxing match that happened on February 11th, 1990. Buster Douglas was a 42 to one underdog. Going into the fight against the great Mike Tyson. Now at the time, Mike Tyson was traveling the world. He was the undisputed heavyweight champion. No one would dare ever even cross the line of Mike Tyson. This was almost an exhibition match. But buster Douglas went all the way out to Tokyo to the Tokyo dome. And shocked the world, not just the boxing world. For a man that was so confident he didn't prepare enough. A 42 to one underdog buster Douglas defeated and beat Mike Tyson. Many of you remember years ago Appalachian states from North Carolina, boom, Boone, North Carolina. Where Appalachian state walked into the big House at the University of Michigan and defeated the Michigan wolverines in one of the most incredible football upsets in history. They hosted the Appalachian state football team in 2007, the wolverines were 27 point favorites. In the big house, an Appalachian state won. Upsets in sports are things that we all enjoy. They are nail biters of the Cinderella 16 seed in the NCAA tournament going up and beating a one seed? All the way from sports upsets in boxing from buster Douglas against Mike Tyson Michigan losing the Appalachian state. But what we saw in New Jersey everybody is greater than any of the sports upsets we have seen in the last 30 years. The equivalent would not be buster Douglas beating Mike Tyson. The equivalent would be Venus Williams or someone that doesn't even box coming in and beating Mike Tyson at the Tokyo dome. Now, I'm of course talking about our new favorite political story. Edward durr. We covered Edward Durer briefly yesterday. Edward durr is far from political heavyweight. Edward durr decided to run because he saw New Jersey becoming a socialist, left wing, cronies, one party dominated unrecognizable state Edward Durer's from the southern part of New Jersey. Edward der did not have political consultants that cut ads for him, Edward durd and not have big donors writing huge checks, Edward durr spent a $153 on his race. And he wasn't just running up against. A random, powerful person in New Jersey, it was up against the New Jersey state Senate president. Who's up against the person who runs the New Jersey state. Senate president, his name is Steve, Sweeney. Now, when asked, Edward der basically says, look, I'm just a normal guy. I ran for office because I felt that my state was falling apart. And he had this incredible quote that I want to read for you. About how, while other people were mocking him, and other people were sitting at home doing nothing. He showed up and knocked on doors. Edward durr was willing. To put in the work. Edward, there is a truck driver. Edward der is someone who put in the clipboard in tennis shoes type of work that is so necessary. And so missing an American politics, here's what he said quote, I walked three to four hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. I walked 6 to 8 hours. We usually had about half a dozen volunteers. I walked 6 to 8 hours. We usually had about half a dozen volunteers. One time we went out and we had 12 to 13 go out with us. He recalled proudly. Trust me, plenty of days I did not feel like walking. It was too hot. My ankles and my feet hurt. I'm not a young man anymore, and I have gout and planter, facile lettuce, and it was a hard thing. Now gout is no joke everybody. And the second most powerful person in New Jersey Steve Sweeney, unseated by a challenger that would have been considered a joke by the entire New Jersey ruling class. And just like when buster Douglas shocked the world with his ten round knockout of Mike Tyson, people don't even know how to process this in New Jersey politics. It is now this race has been called, Bloomberg dot com, New Jersey truck driver ousts Senate boss after spending a $153 on race. Play cut 89. Remember when buster Douglas shocked the world? This is an even bigger deal than that, everybody, because at least buster Douglas, he was a boxer. This guy is a truck driver who spent a $153. Play tape. History. He may not be covered. Edward.

The ten largest center for technology civic life grants in Georgia are the following Fulton Cobb gwinnett da cab. Clayton Douglas Cherokee won by Trump, Henry N muskeg. By mispronouncing of them, I'm sorry. I don't live in Georgia. The 9 out of ten of the biggest counties received massive money from Zuckerberg in fact Fulton county and Cobb county and gwinnett county received a combined $15 million. From the Zuckerberg center for technology and civic life for the actual administration of election. I know a lot of you are saying how on earth is this possibly legal, while the attorney general of Georgia didn't think to do anything about this? The Secretary of State Brad raffensperger was perfectly fine with this. Governor Brian Kemp signed a consent degree of Stacey Abrams that allowed the downfall of Georgia to occur. The federalists continues by saying the center for technology and civic life demanded the promotion of universal mail in voting through suspending election laws, extending deadlines that favored mail in over in person voting. I just want to reemphasize this. You have a private company or corporation or nonprofit funded with $420 million that comes in and demands the suspension of the law. Where the state legislatures this was in my opinion, one of the sneakiest, Treacher at most treacherous and deceitful actions but honestly, the state legislatures in Georgia, they did not meet in the summer of 2020 best of my knowledge about election integrity at all. The summer leading up to the election they should had a special session in July, they should have said hold on a second, we need to have a pregame meeting here. We gotta have a huddle. And this goes to show how weak incompetent and spineless the Republican Party is. If the Republican Party actually cared about winning elections, which sometimes they do, but they're so incredibly dumb, sometimes I don't know. Why do not why do you not have a special session? In July of 2020 in Arizona, in Georgia, in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and just be like, hold on a second. We're in the midst of the Fauci virus Chinese coronavirus pandemic. We're about to have mail in ballots go everywhere. They're about to be mailed out. Can we have a couple hearings about this before we know what we're doing? Like can we slow down? Can we kind of have a what's the game plan here, right? Like who's in charge? Instead, these state legislatures, they, on vacation. They went to pine mountain or something, which was actually very nice. Or they went to I don't know where they went. But this is my and I say this privately all the time, and I'll say, I don't really care about saying it publicly. I don't mind is that these state legislatures and the leadership of these states they are either too lazy or too dumb to do anything? In the summer of 2020 and we're going to keep on going through the stories Mark Zuckerberg and yes, hopefully his organization will be held accountable. They probably won't be, he will definitely not be held accountable for any of this. But the real question is that the Republican states they were not solution oriented? They weren't thinking what was happening in front of them on how they could say almost like if Fulton county needs more money will appropriate more money from the legislature to get the election done. We're not all of a sudden gonna say stop administering the law because Zuckerberg is coming with a bunch of Zucker bucks. And they have these big Zucker boxes everywhere. Why didn't the legislature meet? No one can answer that question. I met with a bunch of Georgia state legislators. My goodness, you guys can do better. I asked them this question they said, well, we never really thought about that. What do you think about? And do you think? Very serious question. Arizona same thing. Why didn't you guys have a special session in June July and August, leading into the election? To kind of have a pre huddle meeting. What's going on? Where's the money coming from? Are we prepared for mail in ballots going the way they are? Why are we telling people they shouldn't vote in person? Let's get our communication strategy right. Let's make sure this election is conducted correctly. Let's appropriate more money if necessary. Let's try to get our election results in on election night. All these things would have, in my personal opinion, prevented a vast majority of this nonsense from happening. They could have had hearings all throughout the month of July. And you know what this would have done? This would have made it impossible for the media to ignore this story. It would have put them on defense. Instead, we have the story from Time Magazine we covered in great detail when it came out remember, the secret history of the shadow campaign that saved the 2020 election, while they were planning the takeover, Republicans were going on vacation in the summer of 2020. They could have been holding sessions they could have been issuing subpoenas. They could have been asking questions it's on them. And we're gonna go into more detail on how the center for technology and civic life interfered with the 2020 election to a great degree. But this is how I want to change the mindset of the Republican Party. Stop, taking excuses is answers from your spineless Republican.

"Slash charlie at the end of the hour. I a very i think. Vanilla take various kind of middle of the road. not very controversial. Take about how quitting when it's hard is something that is not an american value not exactly controversial right and of course i recognize in realize that people can have mental health challenges and problems in their own life. Obviously when you are in a gold medal match and you are considered to be the greatest gymnast of all time which is probably true. Based on prior olympic accomplishments and you have been put front and center as the focal point of american olympics. Not just gymnastics. I think competing when it matters most is something. That is a no brainer. So yesterday i just made a couple of comments about simone biles and i think that the reaction to that which i've been told has been quite a lot i. I don't have social media. My phone's people came up to me. Last night and event. I was doing charlier trending on twitter. A really which one of the things the masks vaccines the mandatory. Vaccines the lockdowns. What else do we got. Whatever the trump event voter integrity arizona audit which which topic trending on twitter. Today they said. Oh no the simone biles when i said what are you talking. Oh you mean that thing that i said at the end of the hour about how quitting is not an american value. That's not that controversial people lost their mind. How dare you say that people shouldn't quit. So i think it actually warrants a deeper and thoughtful explanation and actually shows that simone biles and this entire situation is a microcosm of a macro trend that a set into our country a political and philosophical trend and one that is worthy of explaining so first. Let's start with the olympics. This is not just an athletic competition. This is a representation to the rest of the world of your values and your nations values. Many grew up. Hearing the stories. Of jesse owens famously winning the olympics and the nineteen thirties and the national socialist workers party of germany refusing to associate with him. That was not about sports that was about values and morals. Many of us grew up. Hearing the stories of many of you heard these store sought of the american hockey team beating the soviet union. That was not about sports that was about values and ideas and nations about our home. You see the olympics about who runs the fastest and who could do the best gymnastics routine of which. I fully acknowledges physically not just difficult. It's it's impressive what they're able to do it's about what happens when it gets tough. You see this current generation. The simone biles generation. She's only a couple years younger than i am. They have very little understanding very little appreciation. For how important the olympics are. Now maybe simone biles understands us and if she does it only makes what she did even worse but understand as every nation on the planet gathers they're looking at what's going on in that country. What what are they believe how tougher they are. They going to be able to stand up. If we have to go to war against that nation you see throughout olympic history. We have stories of heroes like kerri strug who is also in gymnastics and she won the very last run of competition with two torn ligaments. Now before we get to that. Let's just frame. What happened with simone biles. Did she have a mental breakdown. I don't quite know. I do know she was articulate enough to be able to do a flippant and condescending. Press conference in cut forty three. I want you to listen to this. She was asked what happened. Did you sprain. Your ankle did you. Br you know. Have a back issue to you. Have a wrist issue. A very big deal in gymnastics. If you have a wrist issue no she said look. It's about having fun. And i'm not having fun anymore. So why even do it. You see for the current generation that has been taught. That america is trash to believe that america's just garbage then. Yeah when she's wearing that team. Usa jacket she doesn't like whatever it's not a big deal. I'm not having fun. You see it's all about me. No duty no commitment to something bigger than herself. Play tape too so it's okay sometimes to even sit out the bay conditions to focus on yourself because it shows how strong of a competitor person that you really are rather than just battle through it no No injuries thankfully. And that's why. I took a setback. Because i did it when i do something silly out there and get injured. It's been a long week. It's been a long olympic process. It's been a long year so just a lot of different variables. And i think we're just a little bit too stressed out but we should be out here having fun and sometimes that's not the case. Okay so i'm just gonna use her own words and just go through them long week long process. Yeah that's the point of competing in the olympics. Okay stress out. Welcome to the club. You're in the olympics. You see simone biles. Once glory without bravery she wants recognition and adoration without courage. You see in the west. We elevate people that acknowledge stress long weeks difficulty and yes sometimes not having fun. You don't go compete in the olympics because it's not a night out with your friends. It's not a chance to go explore tokyo. You do that afterwards. you go to win. Americans do you suck it up. And if you're not ready for that than i have compassion for you and i have empathy for you. Don't show up. don't go through that process. Remember when we used to have winners grit and perseverance are the two things that have always made america the toughest and greatest nation ever to exist. Not i'm too stressed out..

"Business slash Charlie. Hello. Thank you so much. We appreciate that Nike reporting numbers. But what I noticed Lisa. It's Friday after the close, and a company reports earnings if I were Pirate analyst covering that company. That would not be cool. That might be a you know, that's just not cool. I mean, clearly the shares are doing just fine. They are up in after hours trading almost well about 2.5% so Pretty good numbers. They're they're not getting punished for it that they're not put him Doyle, Senior U. S retail analyst for Bloomberg Intelligence. He joins us on the phone from New Jersey. Poonam did they typically report on a Friday after the close? No, not at all. This is actually the first time that I know that they go back and it's okay. You know, we're all home. So we have downgraded What you take away your the numbers seem, the numbers seem pretty good. The numbers are great on every single front revenues are much stronger than expected up 9% or 7% on the constant currency basis there. Direct revenues were up 32% and e commerce off once again more than 80% 84% in the quarter. What was the most encouraging for me to see in this port early release with the inventory levels? Their inventories were up 15% at the end of their fiscal first quarter, and now they're down 2%, which really positions them pretty nicely for the holiday season to be able to go ahead and start to show some gross margin improvement as gross margins did fall in the second quarter, which which was expected, But now that inventory there better aligned. We think that will help them going forward. But I'm looking right now it direct sales and they're up 32% in the second quarter $4.3 billion, and I'm wondering whether they're getting enough of a critical mass that they can enter mediate some of thieves stores that have been their main distributors in the past. Is that something that you think will hold and we'll give them a pretty big tailwind going forward. You know, I think I think they're stores definitely will still be attained till then. If you think about how Nike has their physical stores, they're very well, um, you know they do a great job and to digitally integrating them, and that's what they're focused on. So even though direct sales were up 30% you know what we really thought drove that is that 84% increase and e commerce and that's driven by their app and the commerce and their mobile phones. I mean, everything really Continuing to show strength there across all geography with double digit increases enemy in greater China and a path Wouldn't talk to us about them Supply chain actually getting the product and principally out of China. Here. He was just kind of a history of 2020. You know, beginning with maybe the trade tensions going into the pandemic, and now you know, maybe seeing some light at the end of the pandemic. Yeah, you know, initially when the trade war when we had the terroristic into place, and just a very trying out of China, 92 was doing that. But there was an impact a gross margin and and we think they're still is really to some extent, but that has moderated as as they have successfully too brisk fight some of that. That said. That's not to go away and then about the supply earlier in the year with just like with everyone else we saw retailers brands all pull back on supply. But as sales continue to Piri Array because of store closing, there was some access inventory in the marketplace and their supply chains. We saw that with Mikey with inventories of 15% of those Last first quarter, and now they're down 2%. So we think those concerns are pretty much done. If you think about their sales increases up 9% versus the inventory to kind of 2% is very healthy and that's actually Means that they might actually be chasing into inventory for the holidays. Should demand continue at this level, or even better, So you say should demand continue, and there have been some mixed signals about the retail season. Heading into the holidays. What's your read? How much of the purchasing was brought forward in the year versus going to be done at the normal time between Thanksgiving and Christmas? I think some of the purchases may have been pulled forward because retailers have been trying to get shoppers to shop earlier for the holiday season. That says, you know, Nike, basically their fiscal third quarter starts in December. For them. It's holiday is just taking off for the third quarter. And I think that demand for active husband so strong all year and we expected to continue to stay strong and people just look to live healthier lifestyles. They want to spend more time at home being comfortable clothes. You think they'll continue to feel shares of the activist space broadly and 90 being the leader in that space will continue to dominate. What's the market share story in kind of the You know the Business that Nike's in relative, the Adidas and others. Thank you. His number one They held the number one ground and pretty much every single geography they competed. And then that's across both what we're and apparel and their Adidas is a second a second, but still there's a large gap depending on what you look at what you ever feed. There is one Country where Adidas does dominate or Nike and that's in Germany. Whether they're happy or sorry. I'm sorry, Paul Body boss. Yes. Ever call it Adidas, like in life like you say, like to your kids. Did you get some adidas know? What are you talking about? Dad hanging around John Farrow Too much. I guess it's seriously but I'm Doyle. Thank you. Thank you for being with us on this. Friday afternoon, after covering ms of Bloomberg intelligence covering this company and other retailers, they will say Paul You're right. It isn't very nice right before the end of the year, But I guess you know it's crazy year, but it has to be a little bit flexible there, But it's just extraordinary quarter coming on the Nike and it kind of goes to that issue of Pent up consumer demand here. We know there's so much savings are very high on the question is when we come out of this as we come out of this, how will consumers behave so very inching here from likey that sounds pretty positive. At this point, so will be introduced cease from other retailers in other parts of the economy. "A Bloomberg business slash Charlie thanks so much you're listening to Bloomberg businessweek can a modern dance competition the day with the song it has to get us to your chart high hopes five he slowly and I was going to get from their first album after Roger Waters laughed it feels very painful call the division bell and that's the headline of the chart start there are you to tell us what the chart it's all about a division in the sense between larger companies and smaller ones when it comes to buying back stock it's something the pavilion global markets pointed out in a report to just yesterday and what they looked at as soon as a proxy for the number of shares outstanding in these different segments of the market divisors on stock indexes they chose S. and P. Russell indexes I kind of took that as a jumping off point and looked at as some keys made indexes of the five hundred the mid cap four hundred and the small cap six hundred and the further you go down in terms of market value the more that you've seen that the visors drop which is another way of saying the more that these companies have turned to stock buy backs over time let me give you just some quick figures to go back to two thousand nine the device or the S. and P. five hundred down about four and a half percent for the mid cap of four hundred twenty seven and a half percent big difference the small cap six hundred more than thirty six percent so in other words the smaller companies are arguably more dependent on stock repurchases because let's not forget you have fewer shares you have the same attorneys your profit goes up at least in the eyes of investors even if the dollars you're earning don't change so you know that's the issue perhaps going forward for these companies and they and points out that you know they figure profit margins are headed lower from here and what that would be for the smaller companies is that they may have more difficulty keeping up the pace of stock buy backs that they have the new maintain now for more than a day so here to serve it interesting kind of look at how that shaping the market landscape going forward if you want a more false samedi email gets to the chart yes nice because with it and everything I do going forward the email address is D. Wilson at Bloomberg dot net that is D. Wilson at Bloomberg dot net Dave Wilson at thank you so much we'll see in a bit for your stock of the day well let's turn to the world of inherited wealth because some big numbers measured in the trillions of dollars Carol yeah and the return just getting richer they're getting older so let's talk about what this means story written by Bloomberg news personal finance editor Ben Stever many during the set up of our interactive brokers studio Mr deftly caught our attention tells what's going on so last twenty five thirty years the proportion of wealth held by the by the older people in the U. S. is gotten larger and larger and in part of what's going on here we've talked to you know everybody talks about the financial crisis and it's really hit millennials and hit hit Jackson and but what what what other things happening here is that retirees are really reluctant to spend their money they they they don't know how long they have this mistake they don't know how long it's going to last so then what they're what they're doing is they're they're being really frugal living also security dividend checks things like that and then they're dying with substantial sums of money sometimes going to actually middle class folks are are getting you know the parents are dying and they're getting a pretty substantial checks so this is actually one of the best studies I've ever seen that actually quote try to quantify that and it's saying nine trillion dollars has come in over the last thirty years has changed hands and it's basically now at a point point worth about four hundred billion dollars a year is changing hands from one generation to the next and we could see another thirty six trillion for the next over the next thirty years largely baby boomers inheriting from their parents yeah and the other interesting trend is that the people who are receiving those checks are getting much older so it used to be that you eat average age was like early forties now it's early fifties in about a quarter of the wealth is coming into people in their sixties are higher so in in this money isn't going to put the kids through college it's going to supplement retirement planning for that next generation you know in the same spot as their parents were where they don't they they don't know how long the money so last and so what are the implications of this for either the rest of the retirement as service savings world because we also hear about people you know they're not saving it all for their own retirement I mean they there's got to be some interesting Sir crosswinds yeah I mean this is definitely pretty helpful for some people you know I think than the typical the median check you know inheritance amount is about fifty five thousand dollars and that's not very much you think but the person receiving it that has actually less in retirement savings so a lot of people are we behind on their retirement planning and it's hard to say this without you know seriously but you know if they're lucky enough that their parents I was some money down it can really help the problem is only about a fifth of people are are really inheriting money okay four out of five people just are never going to see a check from their parents for various reasons and so it's really hard since something you can write bank on yeah we're talking largely about people inheriting from wealthier parents correct I think you said the money left behind for middle class Americans to store by that inherited by the children of the very well yeah so the average is just get skewed at the very top and right and that's really where we seen the big growth and the amount of money so you know this this study really track the top point three percent and those people that are getting million dollar inheritances NBC does it doubled over the last thirty years amazing amazing great stats and a really interesting window into that market great reporting is always been Steven and personal finance editor for a bluebird here in our Bloomberg interactive brokers studio.

Of course, the stock market tumbled. I get such a kick out of this in some ways because. The stock market was only as high as it was because of the success of Donald Trump. It was only as high as it was because of the tax cuts and the deregulation. Do you remember back during the campaign and back during pre inauguration and right near. Donald Trump's election. If President Trump becomes if Trump becomes president United States. He's gonna crash the economy. The stock market is going to tumble. And of course, we've seen the exact opposite. We've seen record high after record. I ninety nine record highs. We've seen three point two percent economic growth. We have seen the strongest economy in American history. Think about that the best economy in American history. Lois. Several black unemployment lowest ever Latino unemployment lowest ever Asian American unemployment lowest ever disabled unemployment more people working today in our economy than ever before. Now mind you typically. America goes as the world goes, and this is not necessarily any exception. But usually when America is growing the rest of the world is able to also parallel or harmonize with that kind of growth. The rest of the world is in near recession if not slow growth at best. And so the president is thinking so strategically right now now mind you with almost every other leader that I have come across on the left. The intentions. I think are a little murky. I think Joe Biden's intentions are how do I get as rich as I possibly can as quickly as I possibly can. That's why he's been on every side of every issue immigration. He wants one of the build the wall. Now, he wants to give health healthcare to every person that ever crosses into our country. What are the motivations of Bernie Sanders? He just wants power. I call him breadline Bernie Sanders, but with President Trump not for a second not for a minute. Do I ever doubt his intentions? I kind of laughed because people say, oh, well his intentions. He just wants to get rich off this whole deal. If he wanted to get rich he picked the wrong endeavor to engage in his net worth has gone down. He is being delisted by basically every major advertising agency. So definitely this was not a good get rich quick scheme to run for the presidency. And so when I look at what he's doing with China. And this is this is the reason why the stock market has fallen. So you have to realize the stock market was only as high. Is it was because of pro growth policies of the president implemented. And now the president is now zeroing in on America's greatest enemy as the great. Rush Limbaugh, calls them, the tricalm's the Chinese communists. They are without a doubt the greatest threat to world freedom over the next hundred hundred fifty years over a billion people they have massive control over their population. They're building islands in the South China Sea. They have the largest standing army in the world, they routinely daily hack. Our cyber grid day. Steal our intellectual property at will just so you realize in order to even do business in China, you have to engage in a form of a joint partnership with the Chinese communist government and handover all of your intellectual property. So to have the right, quote, unquote, right to be able to engage with China in commerce. You have to hand over. You have to hand over all the stacks of your paper that you spent years getting patented all the intellectual property that you did everything you possibly could your blood, your, sweat, your tears, you have to hand it over to the Chinese government. And so many times. In fact, it has become the rule, not the exception. China will take that intellectual property and produce your good or your product quicker than you could and sell it back in the United States in a counterfeit market or through one of their other companies. China is growing at an alarming pace their GDP is now within striking range of the United States. And yet president has taken a very courageous tone against China. Here's the way, I interpreted China is our greatest enemy. We can either fight them through an economic skirmish right now or the next hundred years we could have unfortunately, my own observation a brutal military conflict in the next hundred years God forbid, it's wars a horrendous thing and should be avoided all cost, but I get the media says all this is going to start a trade war. This is going to start a trade war. Hold on a second. We have been at a trade war with China for the last fifty years, and there's only been one side fighting, and that's the Chinese. They've been the ones decimating the US steel industry. They've been the ones targeting US manufacturing. We have signed trade deal after trade deal that benefited them more than us every sing. Time. People say, oh, we've had free trade. We have not had free trade with China Haning. Over your intellectual property, not being able to sell our
