Why Do I Curse So Much You Ask?
The. This is Gary v audio experience cookbook. Gary recently, put out an Instagram posts explaining why he curses so much. We want to go a little bit more in depth on his explanation for today's podcast. Hope you enjoy. Feel the need the swear. Because of the language they use. Backyard swearing you. Get away with anytime. Yes. Is justifying it and making it, essentially popular or acceptable. And what point just come grew voted? I think intent I think one of the reasons I've been able to curse maybe more than others is because I think humans are actually unbelievably good at having intuition around intent, and I think for a lot of people there like if I had a bet my life on it. That's just the jersey boy being jersey. Boy, I was inspired by Richard Pryor, and Chris rock, and Eddie Murphy, and their styles have translated to my keynote styles. I feel like I do a little bit of a stand up timing process. And I think that because I'm not forcing it and because it's my natural zone. Little jersey boy action, people respect authenticity. I'm not cursing for the sake of cursing. This is how I'm comfortable in communicating like when I think about do I care about my employees, if feels more like in my brain in my heart, and my soul. Do I give a fuck? About my employees more than do. I care about my employees. That's how my that's for my brain and heart to my mouth. I am willing to deal with the ramifications of me being my full self. It's not about who cares. What other people think? It's if you feel good about your intent. And don't think you're trying to do something wrong. You have to let the chips fall where they fall. And so for me, that's what it is. It's it's I'm not upset or disappointed or confused. Why somebody doesn't like the bravado or the cursing? I just I just made a choice that I don't I'm not trying to do anything wrong. It's how I communicate. And and you just have to move forward as long as it is actually your truth. You will always over index and people told me to not curse on state. My agents who book like stop cursing on stage. They were like we've got five hundred thousand in advance five speeches when I was making thirty thousand of speech. So this is a big jump one hundred thousand speech, but you can't curse and like this to be like the begin. Inning of you, not cursing. And I was like fuck you. I don't feel like I need the swear to make a point. I would argue that a times use my cursing as a filter to filter out the people that are not capable of seeing the bigger picture versus being so blocked on my God. I heard the word I can't hear anything else. Everything else. Must be bad. There's no good advice as a bad person. That is ludicrous. It goes into same context as the way you dress or a million other variables of ways people that will judge you. Because at the end of the day the way you deliver is is all that people really care about. And the way you make them feel. I'm not cursing, disrespect, someone, and empathy and respect why a lot of people may not like me or consumer. There are plenty of people that don't watch the city. Oh, because they saw keynote where I cursed and they were offended. I'm very much in this. I have respect if you're sixty two year old Charlie. And you grew up a certain way where the fuck is disrespectful, whom I to judge. I don't care that's twenty eighteen. I don't care. It's cool now like whatever. That's your world. And I respect that. And I'll jump in and say, hey, brother, I see the comment like, you know, I get it. And like if you were say what I just said if you brought up in a certain way, I can understand that. But like if you can we greed that if we get past that do you see where I'm going with this or I'm sorry. I bothered you or nature. I would I would highly recommend you should instead of saying fuck, you I'll show you you need to say I hear you respect. But here's why or how or what surely I would have a bigger audience if I didn't curse that is absolutely true and business respect. Sure, I may lose out on a deal because they were offended but in the net net net net score I win so many more by being me and just being me versus creating a half version of me for the one conservative person. And leaving the hundreds of magic business opportunities that print kid winners making decisions, you know. I've lost business I curse than a board meeting and somebody was very conservative and said, let's not get business that fuck face. Right. So so like, but that's okay because I win net net. And I will tell you that. It's really the one thing. I can't do is not be myself. It's been the thing that is absolutely separated me from the pact. And so I think the truth which is very exciting answer to this question. Truth is undefeated, he amount of people that judge me and thing on the bad person. 'cause I curse would be staggering to you. You just have the capability of seeing through that. And seeing the truth and the humanity. Like, if I spoke with a little less energy, a little less per bottle, a little less jersey and a lot less cursing. I would be seven times bigger. It's not about boring. Just wouldn't be me. It's just it's exciting. You can be like I watch a lot of stand up comedy, those great people who don't it's just not my truth to be Frank. I'm not pumped a bulb. I think no priding person. I don't think it's cool. I really don't. I really don't. I think it's me. And I don't know how to be anything. But me. You want a real life lesson figure that out ship gets good. Guys. Hope you really enjoyed this episode of the Gary v experience now go out and share this pass it on let me know what you thought.

Bonus: Halloween Animals
This. Rangers. Alright earth ranger ever here. Reporting live from the deep dark forest, it's close to midnight. And I'm out on a research assignment for season two of the podcast. It's a cold and foggy night, and I'm trying to keep warm here at my little campfire. So I thought I would take this perfect opportunity to tell the tale of all hallows eve or more importantly, the amazing animals that make this holiday extra special. We're going to explore the bone chilling hair-raising world of halloween's creepiest Crawley's creatures like, bats and cats and toads. Oh, my but first let's gather around the campfire and count down the top five. Biggest scariest animals brew these. Okay. First up on our list is the Japanese spider crab, this massive Arthur pod, that's a fancy word for critter with its skeleton on the outside can grow to be up to four meters long that's twice as long as a Queen size bed. That would be some kind of teddy bear. Kids like to cuddle with this guy. That's for sure. Number four next up is the black fine FOX thinking what kind of animal? This is. I beg of Halloween candy. You'll never guess. All right. What do you think? If you guessed FOX, you'd be totally wrong. Trick the black flying FOX is Austria's largest bat with a wing span of over one meter that's about as tall as a two year old. Three coming in at number three is the. What what does that sound in my expert opinion sounded like a monkey bird? But I'm pretty sure that's not a real thing. It's a bit dark, but let's see maybe maybe binoculars out. Just as I suspected really not a monkey bird. Let me just get a little closer and see if I can. Yeah. I knew it. Well, I think I know it, but what do you think? All these that one with you, my listener friends will we get back to our top five. But don't worry. Welcome back to it at the end. Now, we're was I. Three number three number three of the list is the Goliath tiger fish Justice its name to Jess this African liver. Monster is used and Seward's thirty two sherpa teeth. There have been reports this fish attacking humans swim in the river at calls, home and local legend has it that an evil spirit enters the fish and makes it attack people. To sticking with the Goliath theme next up. We've got the Goliath bird eating spider. Yep. You heard that correctly their members of the tarantula family, which makes them. My books, but the fact that their legs can be as long as ruler is icing of the creepy crawly Kate. Last, but not least is the lion's mane jellyfish, which I think is pretty well-named considering it's the largest known jellyfish in the world. It's tentacles can reach up to sixty meters long. That's about half as long as a football field. I wouldn't wanna play this guy in the Super Bowl. That'd be super spooky. For more big scary animals to get you into the Halloween spirit, visit earth Rangers dot com slash podcast and click on the bonus episodes link. Well, I think safe to say we definitely got her spook own in a big way with that countdown. It's pretty obvious. Why those animals make our whole wing haunted, but what about the Batson black cats and toads of the world minding their own business three hundred and sixty four days of the year. And then all of a sudden October thirty first rolls around. Then boom there in the spotlight creeping out with the best of them. What's up with that? I think we're going to have to dig back into the history books for this one. See see? Okay. Here. We go back in the middle ages. It was thought that the devil himself would give black cats to which is to be their servants. It was also thought that which is could turn into black cats whenever they wanted. You know, this is definitely just alleged. But thinking about some of the mischief Mike cats are scratch on gets into. I wouldn't be surprised if the ad some which it into speaking riches, it looks like toads get their bad rep for the same reason. It was said that people who had wards were believed to have touched a tone that had been poisoned by you guessed it a witch. And of course, bats in which is go hand in hand that's were believed to have flown around. Witches? Fires to catch the MAs. That were drawn to the light. Now, just to make sure we checked with our frog and toad expert Chris Rossi to see if he can get warts from touching toads. Let's hear what he had to say. Oh, hi, Chris 'em again. I have one more question. I forgot to ask you, sure. What that can. You get words from touching slimy skin. From touching toads. That's just an old wives tale. Nice talking to you. Bye. There you have it. Thanks, chris. I think it safe to say we can close the book on that one. Oh before I sign off. Let's go back to that. Who am I? I think we got a stumper on our hands. Folks. Anyone have any guesses? Maybe I'll give you a hint. If you tuned into the podcast before think back to episode two, and if not well, it might be time to fly our to the podcast for all. It'll hint that might help. Any guesses? Okay. I did say this was a hard one. But if you guessed it was a. Got it. And if you Little Brown bat, then your extra awesome. It's a bit tricky to idea Little Brown bat, they are Brown little, and it is dark out after all, but I'm thinking onto something. First of all these guys are teeny throw only about two point five to four inches long. That's like the size of my thumb, plus their furriest kind of glossy or at least glossier than some of the other bats. Well, there you have it Rangers. Everything ever wanted to know Halloween. I know. Signing spooky Mus Ruth Ringe. Over. Best robot ever dot com.

Moving a blue spruce
Hi, this is Mark news from plant talk radio, thanks for subscribing and listening to our podcast. Your gardening questions from plan, talk radio. If you have a gardening question, you'd like our host Fred Howard to answer, send him an Email the with recipes, Fred, at plant, talk radio dot com. Now today's question we have a blue spruce growing. Dr it's about two feet tall. Is it okay to move it now? Or should I wait until next spring either. At two foot is just about a prime time. Now in that you have likely not root pruned that plant or or young plant take a sufficient amount of route with it, whether you do it in this fall or next spring, I'm inclined on spruce to say, go ahead and get it done now. If it was pine just for general information, I would wait into spring and move it just before gross starts that there's just a difference in in tolerance for handling, etcetera. But as a spruce goes, I would say anytime now through into the thanksgiving toward Christmas time because the plant is essentially done making food for this year, so it would. It should move without too much problem and or early March through into the very early part of April would be another good time in the spring. So if schedules get you down this fall, you've got spring to work with when there isn't a football game to be watched and. Any special care once you have that that blue spruce transplanted will. Yes. And, and let's just say that. Theoretically, you could go out and dig it and move it now today, if you did, you'd need to water today you plant it next day and then wait a week and water heavily again, so that you've watered three times in that first week now then. Assuming full is anywhere near normal. We will have rains. We will have cooling all of which slows down growth, but the soil is still warm and we're after route growth on that transplant b, b to spruce as we're speaking of or other plants. So you need to water not to the point of drowning by any means. But I would say that every ten to fourteen days, in this case, a bucket of water sprinkling canned full of water would be sufficient of clear into the period past thanksgiving because the soil, as far as the plant is concerned is still warm. It's probably fifty five or sixty degrees at this point. Good for growth, the two zero good for transplant. Just problem.
