"Now this is a live look from mobile news tracker at southbound i seventy near the north split no big backups at that spot stephanie's watching that but she's also watching the the weather we'll see some wet on the pavement there yeah no need for the air conditioning on in the car though this yes no need for the air conditioning i think you can leave the umbrella at home today what pavement most likely from the overnight showers we saw citizens shape up to pretty good day i think it'll be a great day for anybody adding out and about who has the day off because temperatures will warm to just the degree or two shy of the normal high and we're starting off now in the lower sixty it's sixty degrees here in the city sixty seven in muncie sixty four north of us in kokomo in sixty four in bloomington so everybody waking up to the sixties and is quiet for everybody right now so i'm tracker not picking up on much of anything precept free right now and cloud cover free for the most part across the entire state at a little bit further was so that's the next weather maker that will eventually impact the upper mid west it will fall apart before it makes its way into indiana we might see a stray shower too because of that tomorrow but for today enjoy the sunshine that we say so let's take a look at feature cast to the remainder of the morning mostly sunny skies early afternoon much the same as well we'll continue to track a lot of sunshine through the later half of the afternoon evening commute should be okay as well the clouds will build in southern portions of the state that could slide as far north as bedford columbus in southeastern indiana otherwise that's really the only caveat we see in the forecast today it's just a few clouds south of the city otherwise lots sunshine that's going to help warm us into the sixties by eight o'clock sixty seven degrees mid to upper seventies by noon and then eighty three degrees by four o'clock later on today so it looks like a fantastic day with everybody in the eighties for this afternoon eighty-three in greencastle area south of us in the mid eighties is well eighty four in bloomington eighty-five in bedford payday four rather than but for eighty five and columbus for this afternoon tonight temperatures will then cool into the lower seventies by midnight tonight maybe just a few more clouds but i think precipitous still going to hold off even late tonight as the overnight hours overnight lows will fall into the mid s fairly similar territories or waking up to this morning maybe just a degree or two warmer in a few spots then we have an isolated shower chance during the day tomorrow and we see that during the morning hours for our northernmost communities lafayette and kokomo could possibly pick up on a stray shower or two the morning drive we'll continue to track that isolated shower chance through late morning and early afternoon but we still see plenty of dry time for the day tomorrow so nothing to cancel plans over lots of sunshine we'll take us through the later half of the afternoon hours the notice how a few scattered showers and thunderstorms develop by seven o'clock and eastern illinois will eventually cross over the state line so spotty shower chance fairly late in the day come tuesday and early or i should say late wednesday into early thursday night out of the question eighty six degrees tomorrow for high here in the city eighty nine in bloomington eighty nine in bedford eighty eight north of us in kokomo this summer like heat we're turns his earliest tomorrow eighty-one by noon with partly to mostly sunny sky with an isolated shower chance and that will hold through thursdays while our future cast model shows that isolated shower here and there through the morning drive brief breaks here and there with a few clouds and then an isolated shower chance once again through the afternoon hours come thursday by friday we're still holding onto that isolated shower chance but it's nothing to cancel plans over at once again high tech trend over the next couple of days we'll warm we're finally seeing and feeling summer like heat so by one day eighty six degrees eighty seven by thursday by pride day highs we'll touch the lower nineties ninety degrees by saturday and then by sunday upper eighties when you factor in humidity heat indices feel like possibly for few locations in the lower to mid nineties so some heat will return as early as the end of this upcoming workweek chapman heating and cooling eight day forecasts does show that isolated shower chance to the remainder of the week our temperatures really warming up but steamy by the end of the work week here friday isolated storm chance we'll keep that chance in the forecast about next tuesday with they're high still in the mid to upper eighties roadway this morning quiet we're really not looking at a lot of precept this picture here near i four sixty five and i seventy four on the west side volume a bit thick here compared to other spots if this is unusual route.
