It still would have been like low production quality at a meandering way to get there but you know it it gets e plus ochre me and it's not like it's not impossible prediction. It's just unlikely like they would've the amount of build up. They've done would still work towards they'd have half time. The end decided to spend a lot of their resources turning the season into explicitly telling knock go to hell. Yeah and you know what i hope. That's what they're doing fingers. That'd be very surprising okay. I'm sorry for that little. That's a reasonable question. None of the none. That is a really good question because like we have been fairly down the season and with with sort of abandoned the heart of like hey next episodes really good. We could actually have a good season like now. They would actually have to pull off a really great finale. But i'm not super hopeful. Because i think they're just trying to pull the the loss to episodes and the big bad reveals but at least see with a Mon in the last two episodes yukon. Just you find out the exists. When he shows up. At least with greg catastrophe we kind of length that that existed like ten episodes ago. That's fair. i just wish that. Not that's way too good for adventure coal and come on got hurt and also the the original You only the big bad in the second lost episode really. Yep yep the will the biggest fan. Introduces this as the name on from the cloud continent and i remember when they met Hated name make in. Layman's like yes in did not mention it. So i really wanna know what happened like how he went from liam onto this random femme relief question. He willingly changed continent. Yeah he was like. I'm going to join the resistance. Will the rebellion or whenever it was cold. And now he's like i'm going to work on a fum. What i following arrows which apparently is just a thing taichi will do arbitrarily for sixty six episodes. Yeah i guess so name almost kind of like go. Boca on in frontiers role. Because he's like referencing like the ancient stories in the ancient times. Do like your mom died. So you know. He's got to carry on his legacy. That is so sad. It's so name on says that they used to be benevolent digital to use to protect the area. And i'm sitting here going. Wow i can't wait for this good digital on the show up in be super evil and then you know what happens in about five minutes. The digital shows up. And i guess is temporarily super evil props to the show for not pulling sound bowed out again. I honestly that it wasn't sound birdman. That looking for sound birdman for the lasers to be shooting at that. No one had noticed will when we saw the like. The flashback with all the division when i was like oh okay. They sound burden there but then went to just the vedro ramon but who also very cool digital on thorough here. That's like props to the show for not doing sanford moan. Because they did in like a more hot breaking away in in actually felt more emotional than a lot of things that we have had in the season but in any case so oh by the way we also learned that digital and villages exist at episode sixty two because we're like didn't want villages exist in catches like haunt digital and villages exist and like it's episodes sixty two. Where do you think they live. Seora mentions how the chosen aunt just he'd find and she's just helping out and that's kind of nice. We have this growth from his character. Like she's always sort of said that she doesn't wanna find. She's more of a pacifist. And it's kind of nas they're actually highlighting that she has somewhat character so like props to that. I guess it's character still still no reference to like the fact. She has a mother or we know. We know that the mother is probably super strict. But we're not going to expand on that emmy show didn't reference it at all this episode which is again like i don't know ver- ever going to address any of the issues..

"On this time we're covering digital adventure colon twenty twenty episodes sixty two. The teas of shock hormone. I may and this week. I'm joined by the lovely quinn and the lovely khloe. The lovely vy will not be joining us this week. But she is sending through her thoughts on the podcast which we will read the not. Vote on the pod custom. She has thoughts on the podcast but She's not she's through thoughts on the episode and we'll be reading out them on the podcast. Well i'm looking forward to reading at the atra. Because i'm already struggling to put words together on written down. The episode stops up with touching on walking through a valley and uncle. Monty's hungry so we're getting straight into the teen ogm owned bid which is fine and then he finds a fum and it seems that name on is working with the palm on that we have Assuming the same ones from earlier in the show junk mon- emeals the have beyond one in sora there honestly shots sore gotta line but apparently already got heard her her evolution episode. Because we're just doing it again. And she didn't get the She didn't get the crest on the devos. Yes she didn't get that like when we did Safety first mom last time. She just she just she just up the okay. What ever so there was this cats like i'm fairly in the the first person to get the crest off. The duty vaas was mamie. I think you're right. But howard those not related things okay. I'll start it is weird. That means everyone else's getting like two episodes that getting their evolution to mega episode. Also getting their crest episode and maimings. I'm pretty show was in the same episode. Which is kind of like under. That's like she was the first one on one hand. Been the other hand she had gotten so many episodes. I think all give it to them at that is fair however definitely forget about burger jack. I'm so sad about that. I kinda like that's going to be oslo gumi. Oh my god calling it. This season will be totally like possible in my mind even episode sixty six even just like a short of like. What did they do immediately. After if we just have pal moan and mamie atta boga. Jack worries like that. Like i'll forgive the entice to end on and they got separated like the end of adventure. I hung the end of savers. Where they don't get all okay the is they did actually get separated from digital. Just that massaro decided to go kind of just won't just hang out with the digital like saying okay. We can just come and go as we plays. Yes you'd you'd have thought that ending of zero tube. You'd be wrong like every season's just kind of finish on and then we were separated like i'm trying to. I'm trying to a one that didn't end like that. I mean technically zero to end like that. But i just wish that it had. I guess me to just be consistent. I wish two zero two just had a lot that monitoring sort of yeah all. Yeah i guess you're but he still got a boyfriend but yeah it was more like farewell boyfriend. I i now need to build my own boyfriend. We've got bring has bondo to need to think of a running equivalent to bring wife who to lifu for the husband. Yeah a dilemma. All i can think of his panda. And i don't know why because that doesn't make it like bring husband or panda. Bring him to live so you can take him to see a panda. I'll take that words house band to manda of works anyway..

"They're they're painting. Their design work is phenomenal if you need. If you need Glove Mallet and we're going to recommend this to the Houston Astros. They need to go to job at and get themselves Glove Mallet to bang on their rubbermaid. Very good. Brad. Love it. That's why I recommend for the Astros. Now. We're going to call on you again overhead because we're going to go to the. Mariners. Which I know you happen to have an encyclopedic knowledge of in radio and? My wife says that I have a bank of useless knowledge in my brain. That's part of it is I have just like endless hallways and like you said Encyclopedias of like mariners facts absolutely nothing because they don't win. It's like if it was a winning team like, Oh, this guy has a thing. This thing is that he knows a whole bunch about a losing team. But. But? The mariners like desperately need a bullpen. I think they. I think they've kind of figured out closer. Carl, Edwards. Junior closed out the angels, the other night okay which. Is I think saying something when you had because I'm pretty sure he faced trout and pu holes and Otani yeah. Close out the game. Yeah. So there you go. But between the starter and the closer man, it's a mess. It is a frequent. Like they've got They've got this kid who came out there. His name's Joey Gerber, and he's he's he's drafted a couple of years ago, twenty four. But I thought he was I thought he was drafted this year. I could've swore that like I drafted out of high school and maybe he even graduated early. Because I thought he, he looks like he's fifteen. Is he the Gerber is either Gerber? Baby? He's the. Baby, it's high. It's funny. I'm going to paint the picture of this kid for you. So his his bill is completely flat k. bill completely thought he's got. He's got curly hair coming out the back and he comes into the game. He's I've seen him pitch two games now already, but both times he just came in there, his eyes were huge deer in the headlights. He's got this goofy delivery where. He's got socks pulled up. So he's wearing like the really cool. Like stance socks which is fine because I'm all for that. But the way that he wears it, it makes them look like high school or even more. He's got this goofy delivery where he he crouches down with his with his stride, but he stays crowds, he doesn't ever stand up the his crouch is where he gets his power from its. It looks really weird with the first time. You just like, yeah, he's got some work to do on his mechanics, but maybe that's just what he does. This kid for real, he got, he got in their three up three down. He's good. But as he's walking to the Dugout, he's still dear, the headlights just looking around like. This is really big stadium that I'm pitching in right now and they're no fans not sure how to take this. But just. So Mr Gerber knows we are here US fans we. He might be the best. He might be the best relief half right now, just because nobody knows what to think of him. Well, and honestly at that, that's a good point. But I mean given the situation with no fans. It might be a better position for him to be in with no pressure and significantly less. Stimuli and all that other garbage definitely. I mean, maybe that's a great thing for him. Bother minor leaguers. Throw them into the fire with. No fans. CARE differently cooler. You don't care about their kids. No, I don't care about their kids. Okay so. The. The. Angels Need Bullpen help at this point they do. The only thing standing in their way is is some relief help, and then otherwise they should for all intents and purposes. Especially, if you look on paper should be good ago and they they gotta get on drums back Yes. Because, he's defensively offensively, he's a stud for them. Is a big deal, but looks like he's progressing slowly from injury that I cannot remember for the life of me, what it was either I'm looking right now looking left ankle sprains that can take time that can take time to come back from. But honestly, if that mayor it started the marriage, the angels can stay close. If they can get that bullpens figured out and they get him back in time to like a final push into the playoffs, they'll be good. Yes. The BIANCA'S I agree they're not that far off. No, no, I think that's something a little bit. They'll be good to go. Yeah and with Joe Madden there. He'll find a way. You just watch he'll. Talk about adapting overcome. He's the King Pu in that. So Yep. So when we get down to Texas Arlington, right, we're talking about the Rangers I believe that it's time for them to throw in the towel and just start trading people way. And but not everybody feels that way and I think that's fine All I. Feel Rocky. They. They've gotTa have some some reason for people. Buy Tickets in that brand new warehouse. Stadium. It's brand new. Like there. With no fans they've got. If. They don't have a product that people are going buy tickets for like if they have a bunch of nobodies, people are going to buy season tickets, they sell season tickets I. Don't think anybody away. There is many names as they can going into next season. I. Mean, I'm sure you're call for next season. Do you think they should call pudge and see if he wants come back. Probably play them for him. He probably could this. threat. News anchor, the team somebody to win. You know what I mean like. That could be a good option I'm just saying you don't have to trade for anybody either there's no deals on the. You know like across the table with anybody else. You just go get pudge and say Comeback Man. Do it. Why not? Why not? So. That's what I'm saying, and that's that's why I thought of that. Because you said, we sell tickets and I said, well, just bring back. PUDGE. Babies. All right. So the braves Atlanta here here where I am. Josh Donaldson Obviously, no. Longer with the braves right and. Really the hot. Corner. In. Third Base. Mean, they need other help too. But it's mostly stability help at that point. But I think their biggest gap that they have is that I mean we got problems behind the plate to don't we yeah. That'll will resolve itself. Though, right? My thought is they need another starting pitcher. ROKA's Mike's Roca Tore. His Achilles is debts right for consideration on time I'm sure. and. Full dewitt's or whatever his name is is gone. He's out. It him. Yes. So maybe maybe there are two gaps that they need to fill top priority style and that's a problem like I said earlier. I. Think you can only feel one in the season with the day I. Mean there are that many guys just sitting around waiting to be traded? That are available there. That many guys win waiting to be picked up either so yeah, I mean that's why I say you can only fill one gap if they need to fill more than one could be a real problem. Yeah. Yeah. The braves could be in trouble potentially. You said stability third base their down some pitching. Who like catching will resolve itself, but you don't know how long. That's GONNA. Take. Yet so that is jay shoes. Yet I don't know I. Don't know if they're going to be able to get everything together in time to be able to make a run at their division, I would. 'cause Miami's playing really well, right now, who who knows how long? That's GONNA. Last, sit on top of the division never thought that. I expect Philly to do well. Yeah The nats are hit and miss. They are you don't know what you're going to get from day to day, which is kind of expected with..

"That was mean-spirited. Didn't mean to do that. But the. The point is. Do Brad, are there people are is this demographic of baseball fandom I don't understand is. Driving you know. Yes and no. Like I said know the mariners farm system just because the mariners are not good. Right I want something to look forward to in the future. Like, you had them making the wild card this year, the reason I did not is because they're so young because these are guys that I've been paying attention to been like, okay. This is the team that's supposed to win a world series. He's the guys that are supposed to win a world series. It's not gonNA. Happen this year. It probably won't happen next year probably two three years down there. There there maybe twenty, twenty, two I. Don't know. Maybe that's year will happen when they have when everybody gets up and that is the team that has built. They'll be very, very good and that's a potential. So that's what I'm looking forward to and I'm watching as these guys come up to like. That's what I have to look forward to. You have a team, the big league level. That's. Pretty. Much world series. Favorite. This year, you have absolutely zero reason to look at anything lower than the big league level. Because, you've got Aaron judge. You've you know you've got look what you've got D- JALEN mayhew up there. You know you. You've got John. Carlos. Stanton got the guys you who can win a world series this year? Yes. whereas. You know me the Astros did this for a long time to this is how they want world series was they said, these are the guys that are going to carry us the promised land. This is who they are. They highlight them because nobody cares the big league level. If you're losing one hundred, ten games a year, that's what the cubs did leading up to two, thousand, sixteen, it was. Exactly. Yeah. I I. Get for sure I'm sure that the cubs were spoon feeding their fans their prospects. Come. See these guys the big league level because big league baseball. But pay attention to these guys because they're the ones who are going to win this world series. Okay. That's marriage been doing with me and I've been paying close attention because I actually have more fun watching like the last couple of years had more fun watching highlights from the guys in double and triple A. Than I did watching the big league guys because it was such a mess. That's why I know who they are, and that's the reason I. I wanted to go to spring training answers because I didn't care who was on the big league roster this year for the most part as curious who the minor leaguers in the prospects I was going to see and. Which of those guys might get big time this year I knew Kyle Lewis was going to make the opening day roster. So wanted to go see him play. And as Wilson and I were walking around the backfield's we met guys. I had read about I hadn't actually seen their picture. It looked on the back of their. Jersey. Recognize the name. You know so so that was that's actually like. It's kind of how it works with a mariners fan right now, and that's why they wrote the twenty, twenty, two article, but also I think. I. Think that article was probably pitched back in like. May. Oh for sure. And it took them that long to get it together. So. When we're going to have baseball. So how about this? Let's look forward to twenty, twenty two, and it'll take me probably till the end of July beginning of August to get together. That's fine. It'll work. It'll work that editor is just glad to have content and that's fine. Exactly. So exactly right. But that's an interesting insight and I appreciate the perspective you brought to the table. Not That I. You know I don't know I. Just I just didn't. I was so shocked by it. Outside and maybe you're right. Maybe I am caught up in the moment and I am living more in the on and there's nothing wrong with it. There's nothing wrong with having a team that's built differently because even with the Yankees, you don't necessarily need your farm team because you can attract agents, you can pay guys because. Wild baseball doesn't have an actual hard salary cap. They had the luxury tax, which teams some teams won't go into right? The Red Sox, the reason they traded mookie Betts and David price because they didn't want to be in the luxury tax that third year when the penalties are like exponential. Yes. They got rid of the Yankees have so much money that they don't really care seems like it seems that way. and. So, you can live in the moment with the big league roster every year. But there are some of us who can't. Yeah. That's good. That's good perspective. I appreciate that so well, and so the information, I have about the cubs came from the book cubs. Way. We plug it all the time. It's probably the best baseball book. I've ever read. And we re baseball books. I mean almost compulsively. So. Yeah you know take it for what it's worth, but we both brandon, I, really loved it, and if you haven't read it yet and you want kind of a greater amount of insight into how this. Goes with building your farm system starting literally from zero. And rejecting it into five four or five years into the future that that's a great insight it. Also, you know Joe Madden is genius and so is Theo Epstein and all this other stuff. But yeah, yeah, that's where. If, you want A. Book goes into. Like. Projecting like I think I had talked about I think I've talked about this one time before on on some podcasts episode way back when I don't know exactly what it was, but anyways. About how what it takes is calculating like if you're in the AOL West this I think is the exact example used. If you're in the Al West, you say, okay, we're projecting the astros are not going to be able to pay their stars in twenty, twenty two. So they will be down, right. So the division will be open..

"Author is he wasn't starting the he wasn't ready to play wasn't playing in spring training. He wasn't getting ready for opening day and the now they give them all this time to get yielding and prepare and he sure did. Yeah, he took advantage of every minute of it. Yeah, and IT'S Far. Yeah, it's really cool I. Think it's cool. I think it's neat beyond just you know the Yankees fans and all that I think that there's been so much hype around Aaron Judge and you see him live up to that is really appealing. So which brings me to my next point if you consider Mike Trout in the same situation, lots of hype, lots of this edge extremely justified. Hype but he? This is interesting I. Got this on a headline today that was share. Mike, Trout has played seven times on his birthday. Seven Times on his birthday. Okay. And in five of those seven times, he has had a home run but I thought that was pretty cool. The fifth one in the series was today. So yeah, it's Friday the seventh and. And, I, thought that was that was pretty neat. We don't highlight home runs too often on this show because we think small ball is where it's at, but there are occasions where. there. The home run game is is very appealing. So those. Couple those I think Mike. Trout. The bomb honestly, and when he drops them, so drop some bombs steam better. UNLESS, it's Seattle which he seems to do listen all the time. I saw somebody s somebody comment. 'cause seriously he hit three home run like three or four home runs in three games because. I know I know for a fact, he to one game, but there is somebody is on instagram and somebody commented on one of the home runs on the on the MLB. Post said hey mariners fans calmed down. It's just pay back from US taking a beating all those years from Griffey. Oh well. All right. I can't set anymore. Because, there are certain places where player goes and you know he's going to go yard. It's Griffey, it was. Anaheim was one of one of the many places and for Trout Seattle happens to be one of the many places. So I guess just. Take it on the Chin and go little quid pro quo there. Yeah. Yeah. So, speaking to Mike. Trout. On his birthday. Let let's let's do a little bit of my trout? Trivia. K.. O Now Brig No. Brad. Pitt Times how many times? How many times do you think how many times do you think Mike Trout. has finished outside of the top five in the MVP voting. How many times has he been eligible? Like eight, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight times. Yes. Let that be the answer to my trivia question. Let's move on. So you think he's finished outside of the top. Don't know I wanted to know how many times he'd been eligible and then I nailed it and I think I should get off scot-free now. I see. Well the answer if the answer the question had been, how many times has he finished inside the top five, you'd be right with eight. Oh never finished outside the top five with MVP biting I. Doubt That actually even as a rookie, he won the rookie of the year and finished second. Yeah Wow Jeez has anybody ever won rookie of the year in Saint. No that's an excellent question. Maybe we'll look that up on the break. We'll come back. Let's do that. Let's take a quick break and when we come back, we're going to jump way in or Netflix far into the future, and we'll be right back..

"Hey there good morning. This is Jeff Ski Kinsey and this is episode. Sixteen Z or Z. Said of the voice. First Careers podcast. So what's that all about well everyday that we do a podcast we pick a target market? Today we've got some administrative stuff to talk about factor were now sixty two days old as startup but if the episode ends in t it means it's aimed at talent insights for people that are job seekers if it ends in an H. That program is designed to reach out to hiring managers to give them the inside track that they need to get the people that they need the talent and get them hired but today I won't talk about. What am I working on Day? Sixty two in is gone as fast as I had hoped. Yes or no. I have high expectations. We've made some major amazing breakthroughs and yet they're still pieces parts that I'm not happy with it's like your business right. There's things you love their things you'd like to do differently. So what is one of the things I love? I love them working with type form to create some many surveys so that when people reach out to US I can shoot them. A quick survey to help do what we call level setting to get us both on the same page. Type for my. Thanks perfect or do that runs great on the desktop. The mobile tablet Probably even an etch a sketch. It would run fine on just a great product and so we've got the first one up for the hiring manager so and a new skill. I'm working on Hum. I'm doing the voice overs for it and that is a daunting task. Sometimes you know you want to be perfect and yet but here's here's how you launched a new skill he say well it actually runs on both Alexa platforms. Hand the Google assistant so Google action if you will based on the Alexa skill so you either say Alexa where you say. Google Google assistant launch voice. First Career Center does it is stepping through a couple of questions so that we can connect. It's got four possible scenarios based on who? I think you might be. That should be excited about what we're doing am based on your selection. It will branch you then to get you some great feedback. So that's one of the exciting things that's happened in the last few days right now. I only have the hiring manager version up. So if you're hiring manager and you're seeking talent then check that out again Alexa Launch Voice First Career Center and sure enough just a couple pieces information so that we can help so that it will shoot you a text message and in the text or be a link to take you to the type form so as you can give some details so that we can follow up intelligently do some research how cool et. Heke go on and on. But I'm not going to. It's Sunday it's actually very early morning as I record this for release in a few hours but I'm excited about all it's going on. I'm excited about the industry. In the fact that this is the absolute best time the launch a startup. That's right. In Times of uncertainty. People were concerned in there looking. Their status quo has been interrupted often. When I do a proposal I always come up with three possible. Scenarios AND NUMBER. One almost always status quo. You can keep doing whatever you're doing. Nobody could say that. The last few months with this global pandemic the rules have changed. You need to change with them right. So hey if I can help if you're a if you're in a player if your talent if you know how to create art was computer code in particular node. J S or or Python. Then reach out if you're hiring manager and you need those talented individuals on your team creating art for your company and having trouble finding them then want suggest again. Reach out to me and the best way to do that the simply to do that. We don't we don't we don't need resumes. We don't do email the best way to do that..

"I mean like individually. Does everybody make more than thousand eight hundred a week right now or just say close close to okay so what you can do is i? Don't know This is a tough situation because you can do. Just let them offer an appointment and see what happens because you already let them know that and then just stick to your guns like at one point in your life. You're going to have to be like this sucks. But it's it's you got to look at the bigger picture you know what? I mean Because if you start paying everybody what tweets and then eventually you might not even have smaller you know what I mean like. There might not be anything that so you got to think of the bigger picture here. So then it's eight hundred. I mean you can match it if you want. I don't know but then that's kind of in the same you match it. If you match it they have to report it to. Edd And it reduces their their benefit significantly. Did you tell them that they know that too? Yeah Dude let them fall for you? You already talked to them about it. Right like Salford employment. I would do that. Yeah I just WanNa give them something to give them chocolate Ashley. She's don't don't don't go a whole for this day. That cool like if nobody argued with you know. Be Sadly why we have to offer. They're like I understand. I completely understand due to the understand like then like let it let it be like that also I mean. Do you think this kind of gives you a almost like a a redo little bit. Yeah this could be like a Redo if you think about it. It's absolutely it's all I've been thinking about i. I even texted judy this morning and I told her I was like you know what I think that this time is actually the time that we needed to do all the things that we should have done from day. One and Judy's yeah I can pull so. We are getting organized we're GONNA WE'RE GONNA have everything System the tie-ins and written down. And we're GONNA hit the ground running once we open. Yeah Yeah because right now is a good time to just what's important to you. Growth or Prophet get Sikwan okay. Profit focusing on growth and profit at the same time is nearly impossible to do so you do have to problem solve with like simplicity. So you and judy just sit down and think of like how can we be lean and mean you know what I mean not like bloated? And and so. I don't think you're like how I feel cream. Ice Cream and chocolate chip Davis also good. It's all good though you do. Yeah but I think that's what you guys can do but at the same time dainty do that's kind of rough though. I mean like you guys plan to open win a you're breaking up. You're breaking up coat. When do this plan to open? Can you hear me? Can you hear me? Can you hear me? I can hear you now? Yes I can hear you. When do you plan to open well? It got pushed back until April six. Or whatever but honestly. I don't think that that's going to happen. You see that. Washington and Oregon or closed are mandated to close for two months until like May June. Or something right. Oh Yeah it's like ridiculous that'll happen here everyone the way the way it's looking like honestly i. I would not be surprised. Because they've governor. Newsom just announced a statewide lost them. I feel like it's Gonna I mean even if it's not a mandated thing if you're telling patients to stay at home I mean your schedule is GonNa fall apart right. Yeah but I mean like. Have you seen some of these people? I'm not going to mention any of the marketing companies. But like where they're saying like now's the chance to sweep up all the patients stupid Man Wall. Unethical that my blood or no like this. That company more than one company did that. But I'm like they're probably going to. I wonder when it was written first of all and then second of all because then if it was written like three weeks ago I maybe that might make more sense but it was re written like two days ago. Then it's like oh my gosh you're GONNA go out of business so anyways anyways so now you have lots of think about Ashley. Now you gotTa Lot Stink. But now you don't have a lot to think about because you if you think about it you already said. I'm going to let you guys to go for unemployment. You've just lingering right now because you want to like still do more like. I think you want to save them. You know what I mean in the sense of like. Hey guys guess what? I can still do this for you guys. But how much of a headache would that be for you from one to ten ten being the most headache of if you still decided to pay them payroll and ten? If it's still been on my mind so yeah I just let it go. But that's just me you know because now's the chance like you said you guys can Kind of sweep up a little bit you know now. It's chance for everybody to do that. It kind of levels the playing field. This cronin virus for everybody. Yeah Oh oh what else you got going on besides that any plans like this vested this time that you're going to be like on lucky I am. I'm actually recording in my office. I'm sorry that's wrong. I like I'm not in my face. I have in my closet. I am sitting in the four on the floor in my closet and it is a mess. I I've been putting off things here in the house because I'm not good at organization. It's just not my thing so I keep. I'm actually glad that I visit at work. 'cause it it takes me out of my environment but now that. I'm not in work. I think I no excuses and they get my life from my home in order this goodman the smell. How's it going for you? Like what can you if you stay to me? Why were basically everything online? So it's busier now. We're no why it's busier. Ask Me why it's busier. Why the busy. There's this one person who on Monday this coming. Monday decided to schedule. I like fortify. Facebook lives and then announce it and then one day I get a message. It'd be like Hey. I'm assuming you're going to be on these. Facebook lives like jess on Tuesday at seven thirty. Okay sure your staff in my bed seven but it Boz yeah. I'd do it for your own year at the Bush. I think last time. Yeah I know I really like him but Anyway so that's why it's honestly this upcoming like. Oh Man I can strategize. I can do a lot of things but yeah office. Oh Dude the other day. I don't know if she's listening. I don't WanNa talk about. It never taught I had to. I had to let go of a of one of my employees and it was like the weirdest fallout type. Deal ever like to the point where they're like seen your whole back end. And the way you do like your courses and the launches and I'm going to like create more from that and copy and upgrade it and I'm like okay. You know what I mean I was but if you think about it skills can be replicated. Personality can't so I'm like good luck trying to do whatever you it was weird. It was so weird. But it's weird when you let someone go throughout this whole process because they start telling you like. Oh you're heartless Alma. God can't believe but if I'm like hey I don't hear for you in five days. I assume you quit so whatever you know what I mean. It was the right decision you or was it more like. Oh crap you know Oh also wanted to ask you. Are you canceling any services right now? In the in the meantime everything is on pause so yes not I think like so I used to their. Yeah Yeah I'm still here. I'm still here okay. Soggy when like super silence. Yeah so everything is on pause and Judy has been so instrumental at getting all of mine services. All of my so I we seek. "Would you know see Tation who needed me Needed me to work on them because they couldn't fit it into their schedule or I'm going in for Adleman or all this stuff and when I'm not in the office as you guys all know used to bring all of the worries all of your problems they your house to your home and you talk about it with your significant other and even when you're putting your kids to bed or playing with your kids in the hour and a half they you see them while they're awake you're still thinking about my gosh. I have to do this this and this and and and it just never stops so I I think that even though I. I think that I was incredibly selfish. Honestly looking back to think that I had been given so much and I had been blessed with so much we were growing so much and all I thought was like. I don't even know if I want this like I even I even am embarrassed at missive. But I told Judea was some days. I kinda winced you had four employees again and my payroll was ten thousand a month. Remember when I used to complain about favorite being ten thousand a month that I've ever you wanting to grow like the way you are right now on my payroll every two weeks has more than doubled that but your income has more than doubled right. I mean your profit rate like your revenue production collections Revenue REVENUE GETS has. Grown revenue has gone. I wouldn't say it's Oh wait no I would. No you're right it's been in line. It's been in line with our our overhead but now it's not and so now it's like crazy somewhere down the road. You thought bigger is better. Why yeah that's a good question I And this is what Brian tries to get me to realize like almost every day and every day I have conversations with him because I know that saying it politely almost every day. I have disagreements with him because I feel like he's always you know he's always saying the same thing like what is they want. Why are you building this and I? It's it's interesting because all I want is to practice dentistry to clinical days a week doing the dentistry fulfill thing so smile makeovers and format cases. that's what I want. I don't want run from them. I WANNA sit down and really really embrace comprehensive life-changing emotional dentistry but in order to get the patience for that I feel like we. We need to have a base of a patient to choose from. So I don't want to close our doors to insurances per se because a lot of the treatment cases that have been huge for us were derived from those patients derived from those Insurances so my goal was to keep seeing as many patients as possible. Get an associate in to basically do bread-and-butter dentistry basically be remained in this. I would take a step back. Focus on branding focus on the managerial aspects and then two days a week do the dentistry that I loved. Can you do? Do you feel right now. Yeah I can do that. I gotta find an associate. Where do you feel like you're overheads way too much now to the point where it's like? I know we cannot do that right now. I feel like well given the circumstances. There's no way that that's going to happen anytime. Besides like Illicit Corona viruses. Not Happening Right. Now Yeah Yeah because I think it wore. Okay no no you go you go I was GonNa say I think you need to question your growth and what I mean by that is like is all growth beneficial. I mean 'cause growth can harm. You can harm your resilience your tawny. So it's very very easy to embrace growth because it's easier to throw more at any problem that comes up right but if we question like if you're trying to stay small on purpose and then right then you have to question growth. You have to question like okay. Does it make sense to add this person if so why are we adding this person? Why are we taking on these new patients? Why are we taking on more insurance or whatever this case if this is the reason why awesome? If it doesn't go with my so I guess it just kind of comes down to just question it instead of doing because every but like why redoing it. 'cause like a coach was telling you or everybody else telling you to do it. Or what law I could I WANNA. I WANNA be able to treat everyone. I guess I. I don't know it's I love seeing that in our office. The demographics are all over the map. Like we don't just service the high in families who wants mild designs we service patients from all over. Who many of whom are you know they? They initially comes to see us because we are in network with their insurance. But at the end of the day they are completely like raving fans and they have they had referred the friends and family and gone on their social media and talked about us and his grown because of that and and they're incredibly grateful to to receive that the care that we've been able to provide and I love it all and and they. That's I think that's the bleeding heart and me too like I. I want to be able to do free dentistry. When we get to a point where we're really profitable but then where does that line get drawn like? How do we become really profitable if not getting more people in and doing 'cause we're still PPO's so we're not you know for an F. R. P. A. Quad of or two quads? Srp's Delta insurance my hygienist request to our and they're getting paid what like two hundred something total or three hundred. I forget something ridiculous but it doesn't necessarily mean that they do a crappier job on a Delta patient versus a UCR patient right so so. I think that's that's where I struggle with like I want to be able to provide the treatment that that is best for each and everyone but because we are predominantly a PPO practiced. I feel the need to see more patients per hour or get more patients in through the doors and open more days and extend our evening hours and then I mean this like rat race of. Oh my gosh now. I just have no overhead and I just hired more people and now I have to focus on training all these people. I don't know if it's the I don't know if it's the the new patients and then coming in so much the issue or like extending hours because if you think about it if you were to get an associate they can kind of cover those hours. You don't want right or those days you don't want Right but right. So that's my whole thinking like I'm building for an associate Like I'm I'm anticipating that we're going to get an amazing doctor and we're all right. I already have the scheduled to support him or her. But it's just not been as easy because I'm extremely particular about who comes in our our office and So now I'm just I'm just like increased my workload and increase my overhead. And I still don't have help. Yeah I think there's going to be a period right now where you don't because you're you're very you know what I mean. You've got to be picky about the situation but I think it also kind of comes down to the question like an I notice on super bad right now but if you had to let go of some people could you were. The office still function the same or at least ninety percent as good. Yeah Okay Well. I think that answers your question than right there about texture. Yes yes but man I. I'm really hoping I don't have to own that. You have a big heart man. You have like a really really big heart and then if I were to be like actually I'm going to be on the streets. I have no experience or anything but I need help. You take me in and you'd be like Oh Michael. I Dunno like sweep the floors or something. It's it's nice but is it really necessary. You know what I mean or. Is it just causing you more stress? I feel like you have like that syndrome where you want to save the world some times. You know what I mean. I think you're right. We're hearing bill where you want to do. I mean you can't do that if you're not feeling one hundred percent you know what I mean. 'cause then you're going to wait. What happens if something happens to you and actually so yeah? Yeah no absolutely and it's it's interesting that you mentioned that because I had an intern can you? Can you hear me still Yup okay? I had an intern work with us over the She started with a thanks or a little bit like October. November ish anyway. She started as an intern So she was in a assisting program and you know they need hours in a clinical setting. So I said Okay. Well come work Come shadow all good. 'cause I'm never GONNA turn down free help great and then And then she. She basically said that. Okay well I'm almost always programs and now I'm looking for a position and I didn't even consult with my numbers. I didn't console with my account and I did not even consult with. Judy and I was like okay. I think can make a position for you here like we're we're pretty booked but I'm pretty sure I'm pretty sure we're going to find something for you to do like that's what I do. I Love I love people like I. I'm a high. I love being like surrounded by people and I always feel like if I find someone who fits our culture that even if I don't necessarily know what they're going to do or if we can support it I'm like Oh sure coming out with us so judy. I was like Judy so I think I just hired this person and Judy's like you what you want now so for Judy. Yeah I'm basically I keep digging myself in this whole thinking that okay. Well it's GonNa get better. I need to do this for X. amount of time until I can relieve. Wish duties wants another provider comes. But what if that provider doesn't come for a long time and then all of a sudden corrupt freaking hits nine? My Office is shutdown and my overhead is ridiculous and now I can't even believe like I literally. I can't believe it like it's insane like how one thing can completely change everything. Are you question? Are you still paying your employees throughout about this whole process? Even though shutdown well. So that's the thing I've been racking my brain okay. So I'm you ask me on the live like what I what my payroll is. I'm just GONNA tell you here. I'm GonNa tell you here because begins. Yes it's not as public. I guess I I'm telling myself with smothers public So my payroll for two weeks is twenty. Six thousand dollars for tens bat is too weak to can live off of that in a year cheese. Yeah so that's my two week payroll and now wife and three of my employees are not even past their ninety day probationary period. Time out. They have you come out yet. Two Thousand Six hundred twenty six thousand two six three zero twenty six thousand. I am in California. Remember you know how much employees make here and it's not like Delta. Ppo's reimburse any more than an office in the middle of the country where the cost of living is much lower. You now okay. I'll continue So it's it's a lot of money And I told that the Brian and even Brian's mouth by dropped she's like are you sure. Yes I'm sure I do payroll like so now that Now that this thing has has closed their offices it's I am. I saw my other employ us so the way I haven't written in my in my office. Handbook is New Start Collecting you start accruing. Pto after one year of employment. Guess what I only have. Judy and My first hygienist who qualify for that nobody else does. Nobody else says. But because I'm a bleeding heart I'm thinking what should I do like? This is obviously extenuating circumstances. Do I just pay twenty six thousand dollars..

"Good morning this is the most we've talked in like I don't know a longtime Just real what for I think. How many times do I message message you at the beginning of every week like? Hey what's up recording this week? I don't ever either. I like either get a reply on Friday and then like can't this week and I'm like I ended the week already or get a reply like can you do it in ten minutes and I'm like no so so I don't I have my notifications for Facebook Messenger and facebook and all of that. I turn them off a couple of months ago so that I could focus because my phone was just going crazy and So sometimes I wouldn't see your messages until A week two weeks later signed my. Oh okay I it was the way I ask us through text message. Actually I don't ask you through so it's like if I might have like. I know you saw like whatever love okay I no. You know what it is okay. I'll get the text message and you normally text me either in the morning or in between patients so what happens is throughout the day. I am checking periodically my text messages but I get called in to do an exam or you know going necessarily the patient so I put my phone down. I've already seen it. I put my phone down and then I do whatever I need to do. And then you know how the the notification disappears once you open a text so then I completely forget to reply back so no I know I kinda stopped messaging you on facebook because I figured I remember like a couple of like a ton of episodes before or even people would tell me tried reaching out to Ashley. But she doesn't reply back. I'm like Oh my God. It's because you get so many messages right throughout the day. Even everybody reaching out to you so I would kind of assume like you silence it. You know what I mean or something because that'll get annoying. It's I'm sorry guys now. I know my schedule is a wide-open talk to us and tell us why it's wide open. Oh you know I just felt the need to close my office. You know just for like a steak Asian. Oh my Gosh freaking corona. Thanks a lot that used to be a good word yesterday. Last night it was issued that all of California like on Lockdown. Right pretty much. Yep Yes dude. Everything's changing every day like it's day by the hour. Almost it feels like I you're Florida's not even doing anything like their spring break in it over there. I saw some articles this morning go. Yeah I saw articles and it really pissed me off like spring breakers going buck wild on the beach like really touching each other really really touching each other. Not just that is not social distancing at all so is responsible. Is Brian home to now or no? No so Brian's fairs they are still very much up and running and and the reason for he. He's a pain doc. So they're trying to keep as many patients as possible out of the Er because they're already at capacity so if you don't if you don't see a patient in pain they're gonNA they're gonNA overload our hospital systems. I got a text message yesterday from my friend who worked tack Fulsome Chamber of Commerce and she literally was like Hey ash. Do you have any n ninety five masks because our hospitals completely out like oh my gosh. No I don't because these people are wearing them everywhere. Man You see that right you see people wearing these things and are they try. Yeah they're not. They're they're they're like regular masks. My Gossiping don't even do anything. And it's contributed to the shortage of math that the dentists have all had to deal with them. Were having to reuse masks so instead of not gonna changing per patient like it's pays seeing seeing what the offices have had to do in order to stay open. Yeah did you see that post on facebook groups where somebody's practice was trying to get broken into And he's I think they were trying to break into it because of the the mass and the Senate and so I think it's on dental or something. But he took a picture of the people who they were like. Because you know his office has cameras and people are starting to like break in for that. You know what I mean like when you get these masks. That's kind of crazy man crazy. It's crazy like I I I get really really grasp. How severe this thing was until just this past weekend. And that's when I started I don't we. Don't watch a lot of television in our home because you know it's on Netflix. And the the the kids are staying occupied by cartoons. So we've been reading stuff on social media and obviously everyone's like well. It's the media. Of course they're going to hype everything. It's it's good for It's good for the doer. Ship right like But then over the weekend. That's when I started reading that report so people who this is what they do. They watch the numbers. They watch trend. They make assumptions based off of the data and not just speculation and that is when my heart like mealy sunk like this is this is way more severe than most people are are considering it to be so over the weekend. I I didn't really sleep and I kept what I kept going back and forth like watching Watching the reports online and then feeding what is happening in the Corona Virus Dental and medicine groups And then just trying to make a decision that that was going to be supported by the Science. Right and not just by mass hysteria. So over the weekend I kept asking Brian. I was like I feel like the best thing to do is to close our office down and this was before the Ada and the CVA made their very public recommendations of of dental office closing. I felt like you know we need to. We need to take control of this. My my team is not protected. If if we don't have n ninety five masks and it's it's a silent virus you can you can go. It can go undetected for how many days they said like six to ten days without symptoms and so even if you are wiping down and all of that like. I had a case in point I had to team members who visited Orlando a couple of weeks ago. One on one yeah. One was spending her anniversary at Disney world. So lots and lots of people right and then the other one just went for a spring break with her family and they went to universal studios and she came back on Saturday night and I told Brian Like I. I don't even she'll really comfortable about letting this person work in my office quite honestly because of the traveling all this and I like to do what you have to do. And then the next morning. Literally Saturday morning there was an goal that's Tsa Officer at Orlando Airport tested positive for Kobe Bryant team and that's when I made the decision like yeah like this is. This is scary even though I don't necessarily think she had it but who's to say she doesn't that that. Psa officer has had contact with tens of thousands of people probably and who knows how long he had been a carrier So it's from two to fourteen days after exposure. That can shows when you can. Oh my Gosh jeeze. Click delays so for two weeks. You could be giving this to someone else. No my God. Have you worked from rural PAVERS MYRNA? Your team member. Yes Oh my team so we had a meeting all of us on Monday. And so basically I mean I made the decision mentally that we were supposed to shut down but I didn't wait. Wait a announce it to the team or I waited and waited to a number to the team on Sunday night. I believe when the CD came out with the the recommendation so we had a team meeting on Monday morning. And I had my two employees who had visited Orlando Day. They just They had a teleconference. And so we facetime them and Basically told them that we are. We're GONNA shut shut our office down and it's going to be a couple of weeks because obviously if if our offices closed there's no income and if there's no income there's no paychecks and that was probably know that is not the most that was the hardest day that was why because to tell them that they're not the way because it. I mean you. You realize that it really isn't you like that? You have to think about you realize that the numbers and the overhead like we always doctors always complain about overhead right but for the most part even shitty offices are even with that out even crappy offices with really high overhead can make payroll right. Mike we can be. We can be very bad business people we can spend way too much. I'M LABS. We can spend way too much on office supplies but at the end of the day people still have decayed. People still are going to come see us and you can still make payroll. And and that's for the crappiest of of dentists and now this whole thing has completely changed the game but it hasn't tunes the fact that we have our team members to support and I had just hired three people. One of one of whom has only had one wheel. Paycheck in my. Oh yeah so. It's it's crazy to think like I am. I just gotten to dinner with a friend we graduated from Nyu together and she practices in Seattle I've been with her when I went on a course and I basically pulled her like this before. Everything happened with a couple of weeks ago. I told her that I was just finding it. Hard TO BE HAPPY. I was finding. I was finding that I was incredibly stressed out because our office was glowing. And I didn't have help I. I needed an associate and I had hired team members in preparation for that growth. So all I had to do was plug in play another doctor and we could be up and running but in the meantime because I didn't have a dog I literally higher. I expanded our hours so now we were working Into into evening hours because I hired another hygienist and I was considering hiring another A part time associate you. She everything was still very much in. The air was at least going to help for one day a week. And but in the meantime I was just so tired I I was thinking. Like what the heck did I do? I added all this team I added hours and now I'm distressed and I'm not even taking care of myself I don't see my kids and basically I was feeling very very not the press but just not in a good day like yeah down and and the entire dinner she was talking to me about you know a yearly funding finding my purpose like. Why did I open this practice in the first place like what am I building and finding balance because even on my days off I would go in even on days off I?.
