"More about in second. There's a shot the kill monger goad plated. Black panther in the team upshot that. We've you know. I it. I just so i think whatever he does is is going to cause that team up. He's essentially going to collapse a couple of universities so that team up does happen and then we'll see what the consequences are once you know once. The story comes to conclusion so fascinating stuff though fascinating. I'm glad that you mentioned hoping. The finale is longer. Because i do just want to mention that and talk about that first second here. I really liked this episode. And i've really liked. What if however the amount that is being compressed into these when you're including the opening credits and the closing credits like twenty five twenty. Six twenty seven minutes is starting to overwhelm me a bit. It's just is not the most pleasant piece for watching the show. I find that the level of enjoyment. I have with what if and always talked about on on lots of rivers pas already. I always tend to like something more the second time because they know exactly what i'm getting and then i could just watch it for what it is rather than sitting there thinking. Oh my back see this. Oh what does this mean all. I don't want to get to talk about on the pot right. But what if in particular the jump from i you into second. Viewing is sizable. In terms. Of how much i enjoy it and with this episode. I found the pacing. So there's some time line. Just timeframe confusion questions that i found myself like harping on a bit like how shouldn't be very very young younger for you. Hire man timeline. Here like things like that. But here's a question no mail. I'm thirty four thirty five right. I didn't look that much different when i was twenty. Four twenty five. That i do now. So if we'd say it's about ten years a so for.

"Of what. She's been through the last couple of weeks. Did she talk about retiring yet. I know that's one of those questions. Like she just got down competing. I'm going to give you an answer. She she did. She did leave the door open for paris. I'll say that which. I think it's only fair at this point unpacked so much. Usually these dividends like to go on a tour afterward their opportunity to get some financial success out of their olympic success. So i wouldn't be surprised if that happens. But she did not slam the door and her coaches. Who have helped her through. This face are french. And there's a part of her that it said maybe it won't be in the all around but she would love to try to hang around and do one apparatus perhaps so she didn't slam the door and say i'm done finished so soon after i would not hold her. It's whatever answer she gave him that. What a bonus to have. Michael phelps onset where you think you're going to use him for swimming and then you're using him for mental health with simone biles and i thought he was wonderful. I'm glad you said that he was he was just awesome. He was honest You've talked to him about that. He that weight of gold series lower Bacteria should say that they did on. Hbo was just excellent and shed so much light. That i think. I had an idea about but didn't really know until i heard the stories of many athletes involved and then no michael wanted his first answer when i asked him about the smiles thing was how. I wish we had an hour to talk about this right so since we got gun i have start. Folks said hey. Can we talk to michael and just put it on peacock gersh and he was up for it so we think about twenty six twenty seven minutes. That was just posted the last couple of days. It is very very very little. Do with me it. Just kind of giving michael a forum to speak about it and these honest about an e. He pointed this out. Dan which i know you've seen and experienced firsthand when these athletes get done with the olympics. It's overman it it just starts. They built for four in the cases. These athletes five years for this week for their moment. For what two hundred meters. It's twenty seconds. That's it done and now one of my training for you. Katie deck in the pool every day. Not gonna get in the pool for a while. So it's eye-opening michael helped share with us. What a lot of these athletes going to be going through around the world. Is they go back home. This and i don't know if you know the impact that you and phelps had an helped simone biles because you michaels the greatest ever and he went through this so he's saying hey this is real and i think it helped instead of because simone was on twitter people people roughed her up and but then you had people who backed her. I mean like it was like this taffy poll of emotions in people being angry or people being supportive. But i think michael phelps calm down a little bit a lot because michael is saying it. Not just some announcer. So you guys did great explorer. Thanks i agree with you. Dan and and i think you know. In any sport we turn to best of all time to help us understand the sport right. At some cases they become the best tv analysts right but we try to hire put a microphone in their face in we try to have them share their experiences on. Michael was doing that with swimming stuff. He said some great stuff in swimming but to do it in this avenue. Now let's every other athlete no in michael's words. It's okay to not be okay. And hopefully we'll get other folks to realize that the mental health piece of this given the pressure and the exposure sports right now is very real and something that we have to have conversations about the. We have to get past the old days as i display for pain. That's changed sports a lot right. Well this is another part of that display through the mental language mental pain. That might not be the case and we have to be okay with that. If we're going to be okay. With sharing the euphoria we get from when these athletes do great things to the teams that we love and care about what i opening for me for sure. What can people look forward to tonight with the coverage to eight eastern. Yet you'll see the gymnastics simone biles that track and field the with a couple of terrific finals. The eight hundred two hundred right benjamin. In the four hundred hurdles out was was amazing. Karston moral of the last night that would be. Us son We'll have more live track coming up as the night goes on swanson diving. It's the same way to olympic potpourri of stuff. It's as you know Swimming dominates week one track and field week too. So it'll be heavy track and field down. Last four or five days is the is in pretty good shape. They have a variety of names that we're learning a bunch of stories so we'll continue share those next few days here and then the team stuff starts to wrap up lukianov affects. Today's you've been giving to us. And i will give back to you one more time. Satan gianluca pagliuca paul. The mother three mike. Thanks for staying on. And we'll be watching tonight at eight eastern always takes dp everybody. That's mike jericho. Nbc sports olympic coverage primetime host. That's at eight eastern. The gift that keeps on giving that was one of the things. When i left the mothership i said to fritzy. Okay you gotta get your rolodex out. Is there any any interviews we can get and there is a guy behind the scene. Juice name is him and we said to him. Hey can you help us. Get some of our favorite interviews out and seton certainly helped like this was all clandestine. This was we were trying to sneak stuff out. Because i knew when i was leaving these guys were still there and i was like you gotta get gary miller soccer breakdown out of there. Yes i spent. I gave my two weeks notice there and then spent the next two weeks burning. Cd's of interviews smuggled out of my bag seat and got out what you get like. I didn't want any email correspondence. I didn't want anything that there would be like Then i left there and then started here and be like okay. Where's that phil jackson interview from. Nineteen ninety-six leon. I didn't get that one didn't get that. How did you miss out is trying to get stuck. I know yep yep this side email account. That's been for years and i've got email from like oh seven with seton where he has a side email town burner account and we are giving him lists of audio. Like here's thirty more things like okay dude. That's a response. Because he's got so much to get. And i didn't want to put seaton's two weeks in jeopardy or they weren't gonna pay whatever it was. It was like you know he's doing me a favor by leaving and starting and i was like i gotta get this audio here and even fritzy's rolodex with all of his name's all of the contacts in there. Fritzy you gotta get that out of there. Yes todd i remember. There was a couple of numbers that were kind of stashed away in a file and that was going to be either deleted or been left behind. If we didn't just grab those start putting them into a different system. It's so weird 'cause there once you announce you're leaving then. They basically escort you out. They usually don't give you a two week notice and these guys were joining me so the competition. They did not want me to succeed. And i'm like before you announce you have to get this stuff because once you do i was worried they were gonna shut down your computer like look. We all know where you're going like. Well that's funny. I don't know no. It is seton. It had to be like my two week. Notice just going to explore my options like do your we. We know where you're going we..

"Make that move. But do you have to be able to say. It's about winning this one game. Obviously you're gonna start the next game you're gonna start the next series but we gotta get to the next series before you know what i'm saying like it's a tough call. I get it. It's a tough call at the same time when you make that call campaign has to be ready to answer and say hey you know what i can do this for this one game. You're not asked him to do this. To carry you a series you add them to do it for a game or not even a full forty eight minutes you ask him to do it in this first a six here seven here and things like that so that will get you get him up to the twenty six twenty seven minutes but he has to be able to answer that call and also play within himself. I think he'd been doing a great job of that in that time he does. You know get a little ahead of themselves with trying to make plays and things like that but for the most part i mean campaign to me has been the difference in this series as far as the pace because when the sun's klay with pace is tough for the clippers to get back talk matchup and level you know. And that's and that's that's the main issue right there. You're getting the clippers the opportunity to get back. You're going to switch everything everybody's almost like size and they have like abilities defensively. You allow them to set up an anchor down there. Even though they don't have a shot blocker they're just not allowing you to even get to the rim to where it gets to that point. I think that's the difference campaign. Bring that he has that speed to get by guys and put pressure on that room. Who wins the game tonight sons. Ooh ooh i wanna spot. You are put me on the spot man. I'm happy i gotta get it done and i think the sun's gonna close it out if they don't close it out. It's trouble trouble trouble. Who's your pick in for the finals. What two teams man. John is going out. That's because i thought. I thought it was a really good finals with You know the sun and and milwaukee because the milwaukee think it'd be a great series because there is contracting styles but You know with him going down and the way that atlanta play yesterday. You know without trae young. You don't want think that you could do that all the time. But i think milwaukee still advances. I think they they're battle-tested. They've been here before they. They've been knocking on the door. Plenty of times and they've been getting knocked out by some really spectacular player. So i think that milwaukee's gonna have opportunity to get there and i think the sons are. Close it out tonight all right. That's our man eddie house. We appreciate the knowledge is always brother. Now i think i just bought it like the one you had the black. You remember one. Louis vuitton louis retired remember. It didn't have any description on it real. It wasn't my typical brown right. It wasn't like big like everybody uncle. You'd have to look at it closely. But i bought a new backpack. And i'm gonna admit this on the radio. I can't believe i'm doing this. Say well is our achievements. Say this how long ago did you buy a border about three or four months ago. And i really had to think about it because the price of it was five thousand dollars. Oh my gosh. No five thousand dollar backpack of not. I'm not even kid you. You're not even in college or high schools. Carry your ross underwear and socks my guy that will buy your right sheep underwear on the road. He bought a five thousand dollar back. Where are you taking that up telling you. I had taken everywhere so you do use it at least at this morning. Hey what kind is it. I mean you might as well you know what brandon we to get work louise but this is one dollars but this is what i did do and i feel proud of myself. Is that louis bag. Rob g yup. I sold it dammit. Okay and and i had a gucci backpack. Which i used to do when i travel. I sold that as well. Okay so some of the price offset and say you don't need. We back paddles that you know what i'm saying. You know you don't need three back right but but you do need a five thousand dollar backpack. Everybody owns..

"As. I was saying dokie had some really good moments he. He took the bigger spots of of the evening. Took about a power bomb off the apron through a through ladder at that was set up outside. That was a great spot. And i would like to take a minute here to to just talk about how. How much dokie has grown not incised. But in he's not taller but as far as talent goes as far as his in ring goes as far as his confidence in wrestling on such a high level. He's grown tremendously wild. Take them away from master watteau and the guy who just you know ragging unnecessarily on must watto. 'cause he's he's one of my targets. I like them. It's fun but this match was not fun and it was a twenty six twenty seven minute match. This was bad. It was not a good match. And you know. I've i've mentioned this couple of times and i hear the discourse out there as well and i'm unfortunately starting to lean in this more but this was a very like i said a very north american style. This was very north american style booking not and poorly executed but the style was there and you hear the rumblings that more and more the as new japan wants to enter the north american market specifically the american market and that they're looking for tv deals the people who are the executives from the networks are like what do they know about wrestling. What did they know what's their number one comparison. Wwe there were like well. Do you give us something like. Wwe will new japan and probably goes well not quite. We're not exactly wwe. Were we do sports. And they're like well we want the. Wwe thing so. I i kind of fear this theory that that new japan might be a thing what they're doing to get to a television deal. I'm not a fan of that. Not fan of that and This might be a more proof more proof to that to that. Putting their.

"There's a lot of stuff going on the world. If they can get this thing done back in july get back and play and have a stanley cup champion as we saw the tampa bay lightning. I absolutely one hundred percent confident that both sides will come together again reconfigure. Some things meet somewhere in the middle. And we're gonna play some hockey because unlike lockouts in the past where it was once. Ibm really greedy on the other. There's so much more going on me. I think both sides as as they know the eastside little greedy but they also at the back of the minds know that this is no one's fault this is the world we're living in. Can we find some sort of peaceful ground in the middle and move forward in a positive direction last couple of minutes. Is tally joey from a hockey standpoint. What is your biggest question right now again understanding that we haven't even gotten into camp but on paper right now. What what's your biggest question about the blues. My biggest question about the blues are this coming. Season is going to probably be. What will the offensive parents. look like. How would we be without outs potential. I think it's quite obvious with that. There are so many different ripples. At if that's the stone hit the water will be without petro a look at the ripples that are gonna have an effect on that actual issue number one cold brayfield. How does he do in the number one spot. I think he's reading and he's confident. I certainly think he's capable enough of the he one of the best defense in a league. Holly will he be main twenty six twenty seven minutes some nights being be number one guy the guy that everyone is looking to win the game was on the line fifty five step over the boards. Go get it. that's one ripple of this whole petrol thing another big ripple huge ripple. Maybe the player to wash this year is going to be justin fault. How does he grab this opportunity. Different way than you did last year. Just ball comes the t last year. He's only been with the carolina hurricanes entire career. He's a quiet humble kid from minnesota. A lot of adjustments a lot of changes. You come to the team. They go to washington. The whole team goes meets president. He stays in the hotel. He comes home two weeks after being traded. They have a ring ceremony. He's he's in his room right. Talk about an adjusted talked about a struggle for a kid. That's only one organization on coming to a team that just wanted to santa cup. Couldn't have been easy. He goes playing twenty six minutes a night and carolina. Bnb guy to be. Maybe a bottom six guy here in saying though some night through the bottom of robert orbin plant sixteen. Seventeen minutes has an effect right. I think given a bigger opportunity bigger role this year. He's gonna shine. I think he's going to be great player frozen. He's gonna be a number two right defenseman. Of course we're going to find out what can happen here with our only left restricted free agent envinced on will doug armstrong pull the trigger. Get him signed. And what price. Because what this defensive structure and what this defensive setups going to look like ultimately what will the blues look like without petro. That's the big question. And i think that between colt prego and justin falk. We will know. I don't re- relatively quickly. We will know soon though How good or how how much work we still need ahead Come january february. Yeah and i think that you know come. January february maybe a silver lining in the early departure from the bubble last year. Is that this team that has played so much hockey over the last couple of years. Maybe actually got a little bit of time to rest and amid some craziness and amidst at craziness of of the bubble..

"You obviously those guys that Kinda stand out Thing mcevoy looks pretty good especially in the last game, you know it may not be the again like a A. Feel like mcevoy's one of those players that when he's really on its very noticeable right where I mean, it seems like there's every couple of games where especially on that stretch stay before the Paul odds words like you know you get those. Twenty six, twenty, seven minute games. You know two points. Rates transition here like everyone was looks at back at like all. That's the. That's the guy who expects as being that franchise guy. There were flashes of it yesterday especially again, you hear about it in terms of you know he may not be a guy who gets fifty points at least not now in his career that he didn't score frigging goal until February but you look back what value you bring. I'm just eating minutes and you know kind of making his own breakout pushing the puck through He actually had a few. Generally, solid chances on that at second power play unit where he's a little bit more active than usually seeing him where he was a were operating down low a little bit wasn't kind of hanging out of the Blue Line. Just kind of encouraging engine. You see how they can utilize him both during this season and going forward of enroll like that. So I think he's been pretty solid, but again, I think in terms of upfront the fourth line you know after Sean Crowley had a very, very bad start to that that exhibition game on Thursday, but I think since getting pushed back there that both lines when solid. Not Flashy. But you know you know playing well, mean corral seemed like he was shot cannon after getting bumped online one I. mean he was trying to fight legitimately every single guy on the Blue Jays. Game The rivalry from? Yeah. Yeah. The hometown team to him So. I think that's a group that you know. They may not have been the strongest. You know from the staff of the it to the end by the purdue injuries earlier stuff like the Advertising Dave Gel again, pretty pretty quickly, and that could be also a a wine that's going to be shuffled through quite a bit whether it's you put a guy like lent tolman or again once. Ritchie and concert you know are able to go. Maybe could push down, maybe go a Kuhlman, who's a quaker north-south guy? Could we put in a line roll like that? So that had some intrigue to it, but I think you know the guys you mentioned are far away though the guy's a release standout especially in that last game Coil Bjork were. Especially in that first period, just seems like every every chance they had their either you know in the ozone or they were breaking the neutral zone and kind of interesting wine with you know bjork and in Comex Coil because cassidy mentioned. Static camp and through most of the camp, they wanted to have like a big puck possession line. So is shrunk. Riley. WHO's a big Dude Nick Ritchie? Obviously, a big dude. You know putting those guys together. It's like, all right. Well, they're. You know they're loading up on size down, they are now you have. Bjorkman Coleman who aren't really necessarily the biggest dudes out there. But they still got the wheels that if you have a guy like Charlie coyle hold onto the puck is usually does you have bjork and Coleman know the F. One or F two getting down there recovering the Puck, there'd been.

"Four five and six eighty three sports leaders talked into Lamont in the hallway here at they came to our studios in debt yeah some days I joke about how you via the Baker Mayfield feeling you wake up feeling dangerous okay but I just all right some news that will go but I I think if you just turn to water logged we just got a groggy the thing is Dave now like the first half of this week just flew by for me and I know for a lot of people is not the case right now Friday were Monday to Sunday or however you start or end your week whichever day you decide now starts and ends your week it's it's a little funky when you get up and you're like man I thought today was Friday and I'm still coming into the studio obviously it was not Friday I'm I'm water logged a little slow having one of those foggy days words have to wake up early this morning anyway we are rolling at full speed in your in the leadoff spot if I woke up this morning feeling pretty daring you know that's what I was looking for when I look at this we're still pretty water logged the part of the two is part of it is what we can tell the difference in the days you you know with these evenings were you smoke yourself into a coma before you fall asleep you know knock yourself out I have days like that Dave you got afternoons like that I've done is I got to see what is my wife this is not right to do what I normally do I said I was in a fog but when there's actually a cloud of smoke and then it's a it's a pretty big fog that's not a London fog either I'll do how bout a London fog one of those beverages you have one of those are due to London far reach to make these when I was at a police station at the Nordstrom espresso bar and stones town shopping center which I think is close now I think it's a covert but because the club shirts close his echo of it but they they did close that to the shopping mall get a London fog was a an English breakfast tea I think the drilling maybe it maybe scored a vanilla and there's something on the bottom and then do you top it off a little milk or cream hot milk or cream gets a little foggy foggy sweet tea taste pretty good pretty good stuff anyway everybody's looking for their fix right away looking for their other sports fans I I went in on the show that everybody's been recommending a watch and you know such as down to watch job she's going to watch a new show or sitcom or drama whatever it is it okay if they're sports related to bother her she says she she needs good content she needs good storylines and as to why you're in it doesn't really matter what the the back on the show is I just want a good show so people been recommending this show all American so Netflix in everybody's been touched in this what happened for the last week or so people in sooner tomorrow from nine AM to Polly because we're big Friday night lights fans of both the TV show in the movie I decided yesterday as we had sort of a low all in the afternoon we should dive into the show session I threw this thing on we watched three episodes and after three episodes of tell you this I'm out initially gave wasn't even three it was even three full episodes we get about one twenty six twenty seven minutes into the third episode and we were he's a conversation between two characters and the conversation ended to cut to another scene and I want when I stood up I walked into the kitchen and such is that what happened okay and I said oh no I'm just out on the show I'm done I give it two episodes and usually what I'll do with a sitcom show all do a sitcom like three or four episodes yeah a little bit especially because a sitcom pilot is usually very bizarre it's usually to get you into the the feeling sometimes are changing characters sometimes the pace of the show isn't quite there like when you watch a show that has thrived for eight or nine years and you go back and watch the pilot how weird is the pilot look how shoddy and my cheap and sometimes even the sets a little differently if it takes place in a house the house might be constructed differently when the actual show starts or takes place in a bar same sort of fame I'm so I watch the pilot knows that okay I was so it's a little corny we try to put a whole bunch of stuff in one episode I'm a tape digs guy he's a main character in it former husband of a Dino men's L. you know or above we could frame and the big stage actors obviously so I I I was like okay it's got all these little makings of a show I mean to but as the show opens in this is I'll tell you what the immediate turn off for me was we come into the episode the very first pilot episode of all American watch it on Netflix and I realize David it's a C. W. show I thought this was a Netflix show I'm seeing new episodes I was like Netflix put the show up cool we get a Netflix pretty showing don't get me wrong Netflix pumps out some crap but there is so much no one F. which he used to be that when Netflix made a show that was the show when we had that happen for a while we had a house of cards but can't talk house cars anymore that Kevin Spacey thank you cards right they had a house of cards and orange is the new black used to be like when they roll to show out L. tiger king was one when they see us these these bioptix that dirty put out good movies and it shows when they do often times they are via the cream of the crop but then they started dipping into other genres right to me started dipping into true crime minister dipping into reality TV when you start doing that you're just gonna end up with you know you're throwing a bunch of crap against the wall and hoping some of it sticks so they they had so many genres that now we need your Netflix shows you're not necessarily the best thing on Netflix you're just another show so I was under the impression that this was a network showing that because it was ranking fairly high on there what's trending in the U. S. over the last week ratings on Netflix a little K. cool people are getting into the store in the quarantine it's a football show it's a it's a high school drama football show it was something I thought I'd be into accepting it what is the CW show and again no problem with the C. W. Davis cracking up at this you know what I last was the C. W. Dave went back before puberty tickets I was like thirteen years old fourteen years old exactly it I'll tell you what to do just for Billy and shout out to the bay area shut up and said some people in the very remember this when the W. B. and the C. and and UPN merged with when the W. B. and UPN merged out never U. P. and used to be like what we see and the Parkers and the yeah it was you for self yeah my dad used to used to joke that it was urban people's network that's what's that so I don't know which is good and everybody listening anybody listening I I was African American descent I was kidding did my dad I used to used to throw that been around look was a riff going around back then yes yes well right and and then you know David we're gonna rest will do NBC nothing but connotations I'm poking fun it's early minutes early but that was also going around on the network except but maybe Bill Cosby I'm Russ any footage that that's it so that's what I was first watch it later the W. B. or C. W. is what became was they make teenage drama superhero shows right they make erroneous make the flash show they made they made Smallville which is kind of what what I was really into it I was like thirteen or fourteen for Annika Mars around old seat and that's so that's a fashion show Veronica Mars is something that Satcher is obsessed with using she loves one three hill right so everybody's been saying Hey this this new all American show instead she said she heard about it when I put it on she said yeah I heard it was a hybrid between one tree hill and Friday night lights know what it is is it's one tree hill with a football spin there's no Friday night lights element to the show whatsoever there's no there's no coach Taylor character there's no relationship within the show that mirrors anything of any relationship or like any relationship in Friday night lights the football in Friday night lights is far better the yelling and coaching in football scenes in Friday night lights are far better I'll tell you what to do I don't really care about high school teenage drama as a as a I don't I don't like your TV show like this when you're a teenager it's perfect I think the cap on the show is probably twenty three twenty four years old Jeremy like I'll give you a high school drama in the early twenties and it's it's amusing enough but I don't like three episodes in print half episodes and I'm done I'm not all American if you're enjoying the pool by all means everybody needs a little something to get through now but for me I I think I'm I think I'm out on the at the all American show when I did get into yesterday with some of this Bron James conference called out lebron James has been it's funny we're we're hearing less about him now that he's got more free time to do videos right like we used to get those stupid taco Tuesday videos every week it was almost as though there was so much going on the brown waters to make sure we remembered he was still around still posting content on the internet lebron it's like now we're clamoring for sports to come back he just wants to be wanted he doesn't need to post content well he did a a little conference call yesterday and he answered some questions and and we'll start with a loser when he gets into an in depth one about how upset he is the decision is not to finish but at first they asked him Hey there all these different options on the table there are nationally remember lebron was one of the voices that said I don't want to play games in arenas with no fans many had to backtrack it because he'd be a minute someone well that may be the only way we're playing ball and you may not be playing basketball that so lebron said yeah actually maybe I am okay with that but there are some about this one how would you feel about everybody getting together in one location I know Las Vegas has been thrown out what does he do one big tournament style end of the season you play all the games in one place number one the safety and well being of all of us here in America under control normally once that's under control I was to resume some type of activity I love you hello this is from what we can do bad things for change it back to normal we love to do they can only play for almost unanimous board isn't one single isolated destination my commission for small space somewhere she was in the best possible.

"Resort presented by colo- rum, valvoline instant oil change and Coors, light. Greg Bergman is filled in for John today. Are you nervous Greg? No, not at all. I was a little bit beforehand. But then you sent out me with a dunce cap on. So, you know, I don't feel so I could do I feel like I'm part of it very, very, very, very limited. Engage. Very limited three varies. Limited. So we talked a little bit about game to last night in Toronto. The Golden State Warriors came away with victory despite the fact that at one point Steph curry was sick. He took something called gels on the bench whenever that is, it's all supposed to give you just extra energy energy gels. And I mean, it seemed to work fit even work. He was fine after that. Steph curry was was fine Klay Thompson actually left the game with a hamstring tweak. I guess you would say yeah, and I texted, Michael task if he's gonna play, and he hasn't gotten back, yet, he might be on a point on a plan. Yeah, it's a five and a half hour flight if he's out for the next game. Does that give them with no cap de no Klay Thompson? Now, you have you have a sick. Steph curry. No Kvant looney is a game that always know about. We don't know Kvant looting dry. We do know boogie cousins gave it. I mean it's really going to be the staff and boogie show is able to give you that type of effort again. I mean he gave you twenty six twenty seven minutes of without kevon. So he's not supposed to play that many minutes coming off as a killing his quad. Drew bogut was used. I mean you know, I think it was Ben Lyons who talked about the others there. Others aren't as good as they used to be. No, no. They're not. And that's, that's why Quinn cook had a step up, and it was just a much look this. The morning show has arrived. Travis Rodgers and Chris Moore Alice travel morning show every morning, six AM to ten AM Keyshawn, l z and Travis. Let's go on yet guys. How're you doing Travis? Is that just coke the home? "Kevin George you inside of grain studios. Mike holders bucks worth historically, good. When coming off a loss this year, they've been able to channel that in a way that the next game more often, we've come back and found ways to, to be better to be more competitive to find a way to win a game. And certainly, we're hoping for that tonight at twenty two to one the regular season and postseason go back to game three Milwaukee starters combined for thirteen points in the opening quarter tonight, they'd got twelve point two fifty one back to Toronto. But the hall of Famer Jimmy Brown deer smart Custos share yacht as Kevin coming out with a purpose and out of the time out, George hill comes in not, Eric Bledsoe for the Milwaukee Bucks, but an impressive start for Janas. Absolutely. They have clicked. He has six quick points into painted area. You say, well, where is the double team because of the spacing and where he's getting the ball. The double team cannot make up the ground. So he's late. And it's easy for the Greek to split them bell yada, is in the four games. He scored fourteen points or fewer this year is doubts back in all of them in the first round of the series had forty one off of fourteen point performance against Detroit ears Toronto. Kyle Lowry doubled on the baseline gives it up to Casale back to lower on the corner. George hill jumps into goes to his left, three bangel three and not sit home. Now you, you like the fact that our he's off because when he does this, he plays hard every night at both guns before, but you want to see it because he's a team twelve eight no walkie assault try to how Lopez knocked it away and it went off. Marcus soul. Nice defensive play in the corner brook Lopez hopping mad he thought he was fouled San game three day closed out, Milwaukee. Really, well, there's Lopez driving rather Lowry driving in the Lopez at a foul called Brooks going to be really upset a turnover and then a foul against the driving. Kyle lowry. Lopez's upset the coaching staff is upset and it seals story of the angle. The guy who made the call right now coach but is giving an ear to the man who made the call Dame, FitzGerald. He's trying to be diplomatic. He's the youngest official of the three as far as experiences Lowery. It's the first two games papers. Twenty four season eighteen postseason. Kenny Mauer very veteran, thirty three years, twenty six postseasons and Mr. frisk Gerald has ten years in the league. This fifth postseason is Lowery. It's both in Toronto with into the big thing right now for Milwaukee. Keep the spacing hope to Greek. It's off the good start. And then once the transition gang sets in, you want to make the high percentage of threes. Larry's got the last eight four Toronto. There were they to joy hill. Left-wing standing dribble picks up the dribble goes to us up high with five shoots driving green cuts them off with four gets into the line passes with one here. The corner hill for three exit data is no reason to leave hill wide open corner, mainly because they had the trap inside into painted area. There's good soil for three top. That's the answer three Martin soul. Raptors back with him too. Will be over now will be because Lopez is in the middle trying to help out, Danny green body yada, says he was making his way just outside the paint on the left side. And it'll be a foul on greenside out coming up for Milwaukee now in nearly going. Yana says been able to get the ball at the top of the circle at ease that did not happen in game three and then also with the clock down. He has the ability to go stale. Data off the. Leaking tied at fifteen and we told you now the energy that trapping desk, breaking snails in blocked shots. They jour- in game three Toronto Saudi Ilyasova checked in for Lopez before that last inbound skill merit with the top driving green to the mid post fades from twelve all net for Nikola to that's, that's a slice shot, right there. Danny gave about four inches. And we all know other mirrored since when he gets it, though assists, forget about that. He's getting a shot. Seventeen fifteen hour against the bigger merit ticks takes them to the elbow. Step back shot is good from fifteen for Kyle Lowry. I like Larry's reading now he's every time he gets a mismatch. He's going. He's got twelve points in this first quarter. Five minutes in his yacht. It's how did by double gives it up. Here's Middleton stepping inside the arc it. He drains the medium range, j good passing out looking for the man for the three and then also the clear out on the close out. The soldiers ran. Right by the shooter's nineteen seventeen Milwaukee Colli Leonard yet to take a shot ball in his hands pass to the rolling Kosolin traffic into the opposite corner, Siaka up top Lowery Szucs for three missed. It's short Yata says the rebound good. Excellent ball, move very unselfish play. Here's the Greek freak going all the way down. The lane gets by green and lays it in right at the rim t saying more in the middle of the floor now. So it makes it difficult for the guys on the wings the double team without giving up easy. Three point ten Janas has eight bucks lead by four letter rises. Fires out and back in again. I bucket for Colli letter while you remember now in gained three day, he did not get enough looks in that first twenty one nineteen bucks up to in possession from the corner. Dr Middleton hands it off to Yod by letter. Jaanus gets it back out of the league. We tend to shoot. They'll send the double assault coming over working on the grid. Five issue freon against Gusau inside the art shoots. Mr. 20-footer Silva offensive rebound. And we've got a foul call against Toronto, just happened. Much Siaka insight physician. He never even jumped to get that rebound. And the player Ilyasova gets the rebound over his back that has got to stop because in the first three games we all know that Milwaukee is dominating second chance points by lot. That'll say Saudi Ilyasova to the free throw line, five forty five to go first quarter, Milwaukee Twenty-one Toronto, nineteen Ilyasova. Outstanding getting to seventeen points as he hits the first free. Throw struggled a little bit in game. Number three is Chris Middleton will get his first rest, Malcolm brogden starter. All season long had the foot injury missed a monk came back, and he's been a spark plug off that they were trying to keep them around twenty six twenty seven minutes and plant anyways doing shooting outstanding from every area what the game the other night, he went over for thirty some odd minutes and gave them twenty plus points, though, I let her play the first seven, he's on the bench right now, free throw MS by Ilyasova rebounded by Siaca down, three PASCAL into the front court guarded by Ilyasova out in the right corner. Norm Powell is in the game for the first time with Serge Ibaka. There's PASCAL into the mid post assault straight out straight in twenty two see laying back off at the saw once again, go try to help out on a double team. He's going to be open again this evening by twenty to go here in this first quarter tied at twenty two Gonzales six points, brogden toes on the three point line. We're gonna pass Whiteside. It goes to Lopez Lopez. A dribble opposite left side. It's Bledsoe, driving heart of the lane hangs and hits a tough shot very quick. So I'll heal up over the top a lower. He has a couple of inches, but the big key is why not spin movie gets him on his back to point lead four Milwaukee. Under five minutes to go in the first the come on the cleared out left side facing up against Brockton takes do baseline now picks it up passes free. Phil of Baka driving. Strip got a whistle and a foul called from the opposite side. I guess her son Ilyasova that'll be his first two free throws coming for Ivanka men going didn't foul right now has got to have a good game. We know the guy can score double figure points. Get double figure rebounds blocked to three shots in a game like this in the series right now. He's not getting the time less than twenty minutes. He's not getting a shot at temps. He's only averaging five six points. He is almost non existent. And this is the lineup. He has struggled with, if he hits the first free throw that bigger lineup that Nick nurse wants to play with Siaka magnet. This whole story comes down to do find me when you're playing dribble handoff. Curable drive. Can you find it? Well, are you moving without the wall? Or are you just standing still in being easy to guard Baka? It's the second as well or. Ties the game at twenty four four forty six to go first quarter. Kawhi Leonard sits on the bench after that, fifteenth, two minute output and gain three there's Bledsoe a fouls gonna go against norm Powell is defending on the pass on the wing. Eric Alexa, was the intended receiver. That is the third team foul beside in for Milwaukee games. All three previous bills have all been on streaks seem will run a little on the other guys. I think are going to get buried. They'll come back. Real strong. Didn't even it out. Inbound the Bledsoe gets right to the free throw line and backs off. We tend to shoot guarded by the seven footer you saw those two brogden on the right with seven eight of the big post with five out, they go to Bledsoe. Drives kicks Ilyasova left-wing three. No good. Because all the rebound defense was excellent. Double team strong force shooter, shoot who is not shooting well in the three games previous Siaka, that's inside passes out, an open Consol. Three pointer missed all Siaka. Don the baseline pass. Intercepted Ilyasova got bad decision. Bad blood? So three point line to the free throw line, getting by vodka blocked by Bach on a lamp attempt Toronto coming the other way with Lori ahead of steam hill, peel to the left wing Ilyasova covering inside to a Bacha flips it up miss look as the rebate. You gotta go strong. It can't chew baby book with your back to the baseline. All you had to do is take one step and go strong and you had a vantage. Here's Ilyasova catching two three hits. It Ilyasova from the wing bucks back in front twenty seven to twenty four number we tell you about the three goals that team that shoots over thirty five percent during the year struggling at twenty nine if they make them tonight going to be in trouble. Correct myself that was brook Lopez on the wing for the three he gives Milwaukee, the lead twenty seven twenty four. There's Powell running through a screen out to a pocket, he shoots a trickle that MRs George hill, the rebound ill will bring it over half court. Three. Tend to go in the first clips to brogden for three tried missed it off the front rim. Baca runs into a but Baca grabs the rebound Esau got hit in the head that time. So he's shaking wrong three minutes to go in the first Lowery drives, under the basket, and is fouled..

"Obviously didn't take it. But the idea that porter stayed because it Chicago and slow Yola. Everybody's a loyal fan for like four weeks. Okay. I can't get five phone calls all basketball in in April. Because I know that I'm not talking to a vast caused basketball audience. I know I'm not doing this show in Durham on that doing this show, you know, in in Texas or in anywhere in the triangle. Whether it's Duke fans with fans, so if Puerto wants to leave porta will leave at some point, there's no doubt. But I don't want it to be this. Well, he left he wasn't loyal. It's not loyalty it's about how he could be paid. And if he finds new challenge she's gonna take that challenge. But being in this one bid league in the in the valley could be frustrating. He was he was as good as Bradley. That's Ed program was as good as as Radley, and they fell short just barely. At some point just like, so many others. They will leave a program to go someplace in a bigger conference with more money with more prestige and more eyeballs on it. Simple as that. So I I love reading these these columns in seeing these tweets from his former and current players. Yes porter state because he's loyal to the program porter was loyal to his family, and and the almighty dollar because that's what makes it goes run. He needs to be appreciated. They still he still underpaid. At loyola. He's got a program in the final four. Didn't we have a radio broadcast? I means and and and you have to find them on the sub channel on NBC sports, Chicago, he desert that program deserves better than that from a television standpoint. And and they need a radio team. It only have that. So he needs the program deserves porter because point is going to work hard. I will give him credit as we talk to Kendall Gill. I'll give him credit KENDALL. Kendall gill. We'll talk to you in just a moment. Porter Moser is someone that was knocking on dorms lo-lose. Like, hey, man, you need to come to our games. We're building something we're building something knocking on doors trying to get people to come. And and he built that grassroots effort great program that he's been able to build because of him and his staff. And so now, it's a must see every year for them. So he's still underpaid. He'll get his money, what likely won't be from Loyola. But it'll be from a bigger program that has multiple automatic bids or multiple bids against the NCAA tournament. And you because you've gotta try gotta try at some point. And Puerto will so loyalty. It's about appreciation Jonathan hood on ESPN without and the ESPN app. We turned down to a man who covers the Chicago Bulls in the NBA for NBC sports, Chicago. It has Kendall Gill as we talked to him now on ESPN one thousand ESPN app. Kennels always appreciate your time. So let me ask you this. So this time next year. The bulls will be in the playoffs. Right. Absolutely. Absolutely. You know, I think that this next year at this time you will see in play offs. You know, I thought that you would see them in the playoffs actually this year. But when they got devastated with those early injuries, and then coaching change is hard to rebound from that. But what they've done, and I know God packs get a lot on the city. But you know, you gotta give him credit for putting together a team that's built for the future. You have the youngest team in the NBA for your position. Solidified Zach LeVine to line toward they'll Carter junior at the Senate position and Otto porter at the small floor position. If you can keep those guys together for a number of years, you're going to see that that that core pay big dividends in the future. Now, the question Mark is the point guard position, which is what I think those should they get the number two pick in the draft to Dr John Moran. Because you know, I think that the point guard position Chris done we've seen emplo couple years now. And I just don't think at this point that Chris you can solidify him as a bona fide star for this team the next four or five years. I think that you have to go out and make that position better. You cannot get jobs ranch. You gotta get the next best point guard in the draft. And also, I believe, you know, the day that I've been saying this for a long time. I believe bulls who go out and try to be signed Derrick rose. He's coming off a great year averaging twenty six twenty seven minutes a game. But averaging almost eighteen nineteen points a game. And you know, I think that he would make this team. Hold up better. He's not trying to beat the MVP anymore. He's cool with with with coming off of the bench men providing scoring off the bench and also provided veteran leadership as well. You know, Karl Anthony towns Andrew Wiggins say that had it not been for dead roses, the leadership in the locker room. They have never made Jimmy Butler the buckle. That's why you have to been and that's exactly what this team needs as a young team at these better leaderships. From a guy that can still really play. He's still at an elite level saw Zach LeVine before on his exit interview say that. Yeah. There is still Lee and all of the players know this now, hopefully, this Kogyo booze will will really seriously entertain the thought of being back kindle Gil from NBC sports, Chicago Jonathan hood on ESPN with thousands and the SPN out. I don't know what the bulls are if they're injured. That's the whole thing. Like, we could talk about the core. And I would agree with you on paper, especially with a veteran like Otto porter on the team. That's the one thing that cannot be denied that on the floor. It's a cord that could be could have been as good as what Detroit is doing right now as he worked their way up. But when you're always hurt is not just injuries as you well know play in the league for so long. There's always gonna be injuries and pain. But when you're having a bundle of injuries when you're missing multiple games in and seeing you know. More and more the players not being able to be available. Then I I don't know what you have. I know what it is on paper KENDALL. But it's hard for me to tell you for sure what the bulls are unless I see them in the core play together for a lot of games. As a million. We haven't seen that as of yet. You know, I think the bulls just has buzzard look to see who thought window Carter would break his thumb thought Denzel Valentine would have to have reconstructive ankle search. Like marketing get hurt the second day of training camp with his elbow thought that Bobby Portis would be out. You know, none of us all of that coming. You have when you have a bunch of injuries to to all to the to your key players, then it's going to affect what's going to happen. But I can tell you this though, Jay if these guys can stay healthy they're gonna win some basketball game today, and they'll be in the playoffs next year. You know, everybody saw with the Sacramento Kings did almost making the playoffs this year making that big jump. I think that the bulls at this point if you look at them at every position more talented than the Sacramento Kings. I think that they are more talented than the Detroit Pistons who eat dinner to the play offs. I think they're more talented than the Orlando. Magic got into the playoffs. The only thing is they just weren't all together. Now, what we had to do you have to be lucky next year keep everybody healthy. And if we keep everybody healthy, man, I. I'm I'm I'm going on record as saying is bull could get anywhere from six to fifty vision playoffs. We'll see again. We'll see I think that I can see the personnel being that high. But until I see them on the floor and be able to work as a cohesive unit. I have no idea. Yeah. Right. Right to absolutely. So so KENDALL tell me this who do you think is the best coach for LeBron James and now in the twilight of his career because the Lakers, of course, for I tell you what you can say, whatever you want to say about the balls with the Lakers, and the Knicks had some really sketchy teams from a front office point. So so now what do the Lakers do as far as the head coach? What's best for LeBron right now? I really like Monty Williams Hulusi associated Levy coach at or assistant coach at the seventy Sixers right now. Because Monte one brings you gotta respect him. He knows the game. He's been successful as a head coach. I believe that he has the heart to tell the mono we wanna run we have to run it this way. I don't believe that you can go higher again that's going to be going to do whatever. The bronze. You know? You gotta hire a guy that is going to try to implement his system that LeBron has to adapt to you know, and I think Monty Williams together their job. Well, the thing is is that would LeBron the you just trying to figure out kindle, you know, how do you get the best out of the brand because he does want to be coached. But there's always this air of just this, passive, aggressiveness and putting my Angelou quotes on Instagram this nonsense. It it just it just basketball, man. You just gotta play lead a bunch of young guys in this Lakers roster. Yeah. Absolutely do. But also to I I believe that the Lakers will eventually end up with Anthony Davis. That's where he wants to go. I believe with Anthony Davis, and you know, your players around him and LeBron and you're right back in the playoff picture. You know, you know, I don't I don't I don't think the Lakers situation is totally broken. They just need to tweak a couple of things, you know. Yes, they they messed up by strong by by messing up the trade with with antedates. And I don't think that they mess it up. I think they actually the New Orleans pelicans just probably didn't wanna trade, and I think David out, spike. But that being said, it's still happened. Those players those players feel like LeBron doesn't think that they're good enough. And that is a carry over that it's going to be a carryover if they have to play with the Brian next year, you know, and and honestly LeBron hadn't sat out nineteen games. This year. Been out with that injury to his maybe Klay us, you know. So so I that's why I say the situation isn't as bad as it seems, you know, all they have to do is put a couple of things in get a couple of free agents, particularly Anthony Davis higher Monty Williams, if I'm the GM, and you know, I.

"Vancouver lost in Washington tonight. And they committed the United Center a couple of nights from now with the Blackhawks feeling a lot better about themselves and winning five hundred dollars. So it's gonna get real interesting here. And it's amazing though when you get ten straight points in a row that is a big difference now. And what what do you feel was there any thing that was recognizable because of the top line actually, the Blackhawks top two lines pretty quiet for the most part over the course of the first two periods. And then once the guy that penalty trouble, you didn't see a whole lot of you didn't see a whole lot of threat from from Connor mcdavid even though he's a threat every time he's on the ice. Yeah. I was kinda surprised at the end of the night. And I thought that at such an important game and Ken Hitchcock has not been afraid to put Connor mcdavid out there for anywhere from twenty six twenty seven minutes a game. But he looked at this game. And I thought that you know, Connor McCabe would play a lot more benefits than he did twenty one and a half minutes it'll Patrick Kane. Played almost twenty four minutes in this game. I thought Connor mcdavid would be. A big factor throughout the game. But he he was great in the first period. He had a couple of sassy true. Or was a direct result of three minor penalties that the Blackhawks took he was just dominating. And all of a sudden he just started kind of quiet down his game. Didn't see a lot of them in that second period. Didn't have the great rushes up the ice of the Blackhawks did a pretty good job over all of this this game to take away time and space from one of the best individual players in the game. And in the Blackhawks started to find their rhythm. And he just didn't see anything from Connor mcdavid. The matar's. Blackhawks should focus on you know, what they're trying to do. But the daughters right now, they're looking for an identity around Connor mcdavid. And right now, they're not getting anything if Connor mcdavid. It's not leading the charge. Then they're in trouble. And it's kind of similar with Patrick Kane. Both these guys came in with seventy six points. They both leave a seventy eight point. So if that's a seesaw battle, which was the second Kia the game. You know, you look at it was pretty even. But I thought that the depth scoring as you mentioned Chris really started to show up in here. They don't Cahoon had another strong game. Dylan Strom picked up an assist Brandon Saad a couple of that's what you're looking for. And that's what Jeremy Caulton is looking for when he kind of structured these lines to give the team a little bit of better balanced, but also load up on the top line. The only guys who didn't he reach the scoresheet tonight. David Kampe was left off the scoresheet along with dalstrom, Murphy, Kuku and Duncan Keith. But Duncan Keith finishes with a plus three on the nights. All right. I'm sure we're we're both happy campers tonight with our with our pregame selections on who is going to deliver. And who I was banking on before we circle back to that. Who do you have a player with the most heart tonight while again, there's all kinds of options out here to throw a dart at a dartboard? Go Dominic Cahoon this one. I thought that he you know, he was working hard on this game. And he's got a lot of energy in this game is over sixteen minutes and had three shots on goal. Had a goal necess- couple points in this one for Coon Cahoon he had a couple of cysts in the last game. Both of those were primary assist as well. So the player with the most heart tonight is dominant. Cahoon the player at the most hardest sponsored by mercy hospital cardiovascular services, but put a little asterik beside that because there was a lot of players that played with a lot of hard in this one. Yeah, they were all fighting for those honors here. Your jets pizza to was Patrick Kane. He certainly did that as he extends his point streak to eleven games. And the guy I was banking on courtesy of Marquette Bank. Drink could ULA. I'm sure he is a happy camper as he scores a goal against his former team tonight in the six two victory. Troy enjoy the night's have a safe trip back tomorrow. We'll see over at the United Center, which I'm sure it's going to be jumping a little bit more on Thursday night against the Vancouver Canucks. Yeah. I think there's going to be a lot of excitement in that game. And for the Vancouver Canucks. It's been a tough road trip. And they haven't picked up a lot of points. And you know, maybe they were playing a little bit over their skis. But. There's a hard working team that has an identity that you'd better be able to come and compete because one the hawks haven't been able to figure out the last couple of years either. Now, they haven't and I don't know whether you're you're looking and saying, well, you don't they aren't the team that the rival was a couple of years ago, but it's still a very good hockey team. And you better be ready because Vancouver knows what's at stake at that game in that game for the Blackhawks. They can't take it lightly. It'd be happy. What's happened here? These last three games out of the break all on the road and take it easy when you get back to the United Center, and they're in the midst if not the I don't know if they have stop in Chicago is going to the end of their road trip as well. Have a good night. We'll see a Thursday. Okay. All right. Good job. Chris likewise Troy Murray after the Blackhawks six to victory in his hometown of Edmonds.
