'You Will Be Assimilated' Author David Goldman on China's Contempt for the U.S.
"China is not an enemy. And I think that's important for people to clearly understand. China is a rising power, China has been a rising power since Deng Xiaoping in 79. And they are going to develop themselves in our developing themselves into a great power. That is not to say, however, that they are an enemy. They're not an enemy. They're just a great power. That's according to the chairman of the joint chiefs when he was speaking in his private capacity as chief of staff of the army. The NATO summit, maybe that explains a lot about Mark Billy. We'll discuss the realities of what China thinks they are to us and how they're eating our lunch with the man that we always rely upon to tell us about the geo strategic reality in Asia and in Beijing. He's the author of a fabulous work you must check out right now. It's you will be assimilated. China's plan to Sino form the world. David Goldman. Welcome to one on one. A sub gorka it is an honor and privilege to spend fine with you, sir. Thanks for the invitation. I just realized I'm looking at the cover of your book that the Chinese dragon has a pair of iPhone ear pods in. That's a very nice little touch there. I missed in the past. David, we'll talk about Millie. We'll talk about the truth of China Beijing. Xi Jinping and everything else. But first, I have to ask you. The imagery of these super cargo ships off the port of LA, the president of the United States saying, oh, no, don't worry about it. And then Jen Psaki saying, oh, that's a high class issue. People having the Christmas present. So that's, you know, the pipes don't worry about that. Let me ask you, let's think like the Chinese Communist Party for a moment. What does China think of the fact that America can't unload its cargo ships? The Chinese have contempt for us. They think they can take us. We just published an a four times an excerpt from a book by Chinese economist used to be the chief economist of the World Bank Chicago university PhD. Who says, look at history. Look at the United States versus England at the end of the 19th century. The English were lazy complacent and the United States come from behind, took them out and ate their lunch. That's exactly what we're going to do to the United States now. We've got the people. We've got the supply chains. We've got the technology. We've got the will to do it. America's lazy and feckless and their right for the

Meet Virginia Attorney General Candidate Jason Miyares
"But there's a fantastic candidate who's also running for attorney general In the state of Virginia And wouldn't it be wonderful if all three statewide constitutional positions flipped And his name is Jason meares Jason how are you sir It is great to be with you Mark So much for thank you so much for having me on Well it's a pleasure Now tell us about yourself Tell the whole country about yourself because you have a very very interesting background as well Go right ahead Well listen I like to say my former prosecutor in Virginia Beach represent that area in the House of delegates now My story actually doesn't begin in Virginia Beach It begins in a vanna Cuba when a scared 19 year old girl got an airplane and you lost in homeless and not on board next meals get to come from And that was my mother Miriam miara is and so you know I tell my daughters all the time gratitude is one of the most underrated of all human traits I was raised to have such gratitude that I can live in this amazing country So my mother fled communist Cuba in the fall of 1965 leaving the only non democracy in the western hemisphere And almost 50 years of the day that she'd last in the fall of 2015 she was able to go into a voting booth and get a ballot and vote for me to represent her in the oldest democracy in the western hemisphere the Virginia accidental gets And so that's what I call the American miracle And we'll be ever forget that it is a miracle It's a precious thing And one of the things that makes it so precious is the fact that we're a country with a first written constitution and recorded history that empowers the individual rather than empowering government And that is what has created more flourishing of human ingenuity and prosperity than any country in the history of the world And we have to remember that as a people or we're quickly going to go to the way of some of these other

"A long serving member of the British parliament was stabbed to death David Amos was meeting with constituents at a church when he was stabbed I think everybody was deeply shocked and saddened heart stricken prime minister Boris Johnson says part of the reason for the shock is that Amos was so well liked above all he was one of the kindest nicest most gentle people in politics but he also had an outstanding record of passing laws to help the most vulnerable a twenty five year old man was arrested at the scene chief constable Ben Julian Harrington says counter terrorism officers are leading this case it will be for investigators to determine whether or not this is a terrorist incident but as always I will keep an open mind Amos was knighted by Queen Elizabeth in twenty fifteen for his service becoming Sir David I'm at Donahue
Biden Special Envoy Warns US Must 'Prepare' for Fully Nuclear Iran
"States. Doctor oran, welcome back great to talk to you again, sir. Good to talk to you. Big story coming from the Washington free Beacon. I know that this is something that's gotten a lot of attention in Israel has gotten next to none here in the United States. Adam credo reporting yesterday that U.S. Iran envoy Robert malley, whose name is very familiar to those of us who follow these things, says that the Biden administration is preparing for, quote, a world where Iran doesn't have constraints on its nuclear program. Comments that show how little progress has been made in negotiation with Tehran regarding a return to the JCPOA the 2015 Barack Obama ran deal. Doctor Oren, I mean, if that deal had remained in place, we'd still be dealing with in Iran didn't have any constraints on its nuclear weapons program. I mean, I think that that's one thing that should be said right off the bat. That deal wasn't going to prevent Iran from creating nuclear weapons. It only it only had a ten year pause in it, maybe. And that's only if you believed Iran was complying with it. Yes, that's true. It was ultimately going to his line was ultimately going to have an unlimited nuclear program. The big difference was that while it restrained itself somewhat, and some aspects of the program, just on the nuclear enrichment, not a missile development, not on the development of advanced centrifuges, not on developer warheads, didn't do anything about any of that. But when I was going to get paid a 100 billions of dollars that it wasn't going to spend on schools and hospitals, you can believe that. I think the major thing that rob valley is saying, believe it or not is the truth and the truth that has been around for a long time. I've been talking about on these really news. And that is the United States is willing to coexist with an Iran that has threshold capacity. I mean, the ability is created a bomb within a matter of weeks, because you've been a matter of days. Among the professionals, if referred to as Japan like capabilities, there's Japan has that capability, but of course, you can't threaten to wipe anybody off the map or is not supporting financial payers. Bret Baier's 'Rescue the Republic' Digs Deep Into Ulysses S. Grant's Legacy
"Ulysses S. Grant You know he was actually a not only a great general but a great president He really was There was a great book out on the topic now to rescue the republic Ulysses S. Grant the fragile union and the crisis of 1876 by Bret baier Brett how are you sir Hey Mark Thanks for having me on Well it's always a pleasure You write very very smart and very compelling books about history and so forth What caused you to write a book about Ulysses S. Grant I think he's one of the least understood presidents And yet one of the greatest presidents am I right I agree I mean and that's what I really found You know and we've talked before about the previous books I did about Eisenhower and Reagan and FDR Churchill installing and moments in history where I thought history they're kind of brushed it over or didn't focus on those moments That was the beginning middle and end of the Cold War And I was looking for another one of those historical kind of overshot something that wasn't that focused on And I looked at grant's presidency You know his 8 year presidency whenever you hear about it it is always about the difficulties and the petty corruption and scandals And there were some And there were people that grant trusted as a non politician who took advantage of them Make money But his most important role was really to win the peace After the Civil War and most importantly the process of reconstruction in the south to make sure it was successful And as you dig in here there are really consequential things that happen

"What if I told you that in Wyoming? A 16 year old got in a controversy for refusing to comply with the local mass mandate in Wyoming. She was then suspended, fined and arrested. In Albany, county, Wyoming. What are we doing to ourselves in this country? We're arresting 16 year olds? Because they don't wear the mask that you want them to wear? Well, this is in Laramie. This is right near Laramie. Wyoming, right near the university of Wyoming. Very liberal part of Wyoming I might add, almost as liberalized tea time county, which is northwestern, Wyoming. I love Wyoming. Wyoming is one of my favorite states in the country. I want to play this tape here, though. 16 year old refusing to comply with the local mask mandate, suspended, find and arrested, play cut 31. I'm gonna go right to citation for you. I'm gonna let you know what's going on at this point. This entire building now is in lockdown. So you've now restricted the movement of over a thousand students who are not allowed to leave or classroom because you're trying to get back into the classroom. This correlation November 16th at 9 o'clock. And so record. Any questions on that? Thank you. Hi. So you're still refusing to leave? Yes, sir. Do you even have to receiving your citation? Yes, sir. All right, then at this point, I'm gonna place him to calculate for Trump's house. Okay. Straight a student, handcuffed and led to jail by police. For not wearing a mask. Grace Smith, 16 years old. Now has a court date in November. Because she would not wear a mask. In Wyoming, everybody.

Amazon Suspiciously Marks Victor Davis Hanson's Book 'The Dying Citizen' out of Stock
"Is a statement under his book on Amazon that says out of stock and I just looked at his book now and it says ships usually ships within 6 days The problem is Victor's publisher said they're not out of stock They have plenty of copies So what is Victor to believe and I have my friend Victor Davis Hansen with me Victor how are you sir I'm very good Mark Thanks for having me And it was right after we did the interview with you that the book took off for obvious reasons with your endorsement And it had a lot of good pre sale but it was number two and then suddenly about 24 30 hours after it appeared it started to say basically out of stock soon to be in stock et cetera And it stayed that way for 6 days until the day So you couldn't buy the book on a nation's largest bookseller And then I was told well they won't count books there Tip for obvious reasons just not orders So it's important And people start calling in You know I can't get the book on Amazon what's wrong How can you not have the book the second day of the style So I made a lot of calls and the publisher sent me statistics and then apparently got several thousand copies but for some reason alone of the top ten or a loan of top 15 books they were not able to send them out So for an hour I will say in this talk they'll say you can get it in 6 or 7 days in an hour later they'll say soon to be stocked and stuff like that but they just won't ship the book when you order it in a normal way that they do And I don't know the reason why But it's kind of strange to have a lot of input And by the media and things and just see it not to be available to the public at least in the timely fashion
Rep. Brian Mast Frustrated That ISIS Suicide Bomber Was Released From Bagram Prison
"Brian man Is very wise man He's American hero He's my congressman in Florida as a matter of fact And it's always a pleasure to have you on the air Congressman how are you I'm frustrated sir as I know you are as well and host a different issue but proud to talk to you All right thank you First of all we hear that the suicide bomber that killed 13 precious American military personnel as well as well over a hundred Afghans was an ISIS terrorist who was released from the Bahrain prison as is correct This is absolutely correct And there's a really important compare and contrast that every American needs to be making right now between president Trump and President Biden So this terrorist I'm not even going to say his name because it should never be said This terrorist was handed over to us by India because he was captured trying to bomb a location in New Delhi He was turned over to our CIA and put in lockup back in 2017 So president Trump made him a candidate for waterboarding was able to extract ISIS targets from him and use him to kill terrorists The only thing that a terrorist should be used for is to be used to kill other terrorists That's the only thing they're good for President Biden released the same guy and he was able to now kill Americans That's the compare and contrast that every American needs to see on the way those two
Joe Biden and CDC's Use of the Word 'Unvaccinated' Is Problematic
"It is amazing when you sit in a position like mine how people perceive you or perceive what you say and how it's sometimes so different or detached from how I perceive what I say in myself My hits on Hannity even some of my opening monologues on my Sunday Sean Fox on Levant TV and behind this microphone I've pointed out over and over and over again That Biden and the CDC and their use of the phrase or the word unvaccinated Is problematic Because they never tell us what percentage of the unvaccinated Got the virus And are therefore immune naturally immune And have the antibodies In fact I was the first to point this out almost a month ago As I went on the CDC site and I couldn't find the information And we've talked about it many many times Sir friend of mine writes me and says how come you never talk about this I do I talk about it all the time And I still would like to get some answers When you consider almost 80% now the population That is subject to the vaccine that is they can take the vaccine is taken it The question is what percentage of the remaining 20% already have immunity Natural immunity in the Israeli study says that's 27 times stronger than with a vaccine and they should know because they have another massive outbreak in Israel But this isn't some backbencher country coming up with a study This is a serious country and they're pointing out That this herd immunity issue is a big deal

Not Right to Say Only Women Have a Cervix, Says Starmer
"So here's this the the head of the labor party in the uk a sir. Nevertheless non the sur not nevertheless in sir moreover we go for kier storm denied that it was correct to saying only women have services. It's something that shouldn't be said. It is not right. Conservative health secretary sajid javid called the opposition leader's remarks a total denial of scientific fact adding and he wants to run the nhs. The national health service. A monday labour's shadow chancellor. Let me explain. What shadow is in the parliamentary government's. That's the person who would be in that position. If that party came to power so the shadow chancellor is rachel reeves struggle to answer whether it was transphobic to say that only women have services. This is a woman responding to the question from. Lbc what's obesity. You know something broadcast inc. So what's the l for london. Lucy reeves initially evaded the question before responding rather flustered when preston game is it transphobic. Look i just. I don't know even how to start answering these questions. Tired of robocalls? The FCC is still trying to stop them
"The us about twenty percent of calls to cell phones and forty percent to landlines are robocalls many of them scams and tomorrow is the deadline for voice service providers including some phone companies to show the federal communications commission. What steps. they're taking to stop robocalls. Brad reeves is a professor of computer science at north carolina state university. He said the fcc is telling these companies to be on the lookout for clear signs of fraud for example if your phone company and you have a customer that is sending hundreds of thousands of calls per day but almost none of them get answered. Doesn't necessarily mean you're doing anything illegal but it certainly suspicious and you should be looking into it. So yeah i the fcc has a new system right like technical system that can help weed out the robocalls so the fcc is mandating that all providers either now or within a couple of years implemented set of technical standards called stir and shaken. This is something that changes. How calls are made to add a little token to indicate where the call came from and which provider was responsible for it. So you can think of this kind of like the post office putting a postmark on a stamp. The reason this is important. Is that when you receive a robo call and maybe you call your phone company to complain about it. They have to figure out where that call came from. And before sir shaking it was a laborious process that took days in most cases. Do you think that this is gonna work. I wouldn't bet on it. There are just too many loopholes and ways to bypass the
Professor Files Lawsuit Over University Vaccine Mandate
"Welcome back by friends. I'm dennis prager and a professor on todd. Zoecke z. y. W i c k by a professor of law george mason university and a fellow at the cato institute in august believe it was august. Let me see here. you wrote a piece in the The wall street journal was august professor. There why gogga's that's right down is so you wrote a about why you're not going to follow your universities. Demand that you get a vaccination for cans covert in order to be able to return to campus and you cited the fact that you had in fact cova and in fact was was when you took tests. You've had the antibodies to kovin. They stay continued to stay in your body and so you sued. george mason. Is that correct cats correct and it's okay. Yup no no you go ahead. Yeah so i so. I tried to resolve this the nice way. Then it's wages. I tried to torch mason claims to the place the respect science that Respects truth so. I reached out over the summer After i contacted by immunologists and i did a full immunity workup including an anti bodies tests. That showed that my anybody's level With comparable to somebody who had been fully vaccinated And And there's more there's more than you needed that but this is sort of a slam dunk case is this is how you measure of somebody's immune protection listens how they measure whether somebody needs a booster shot for any for any disease whether it's measles or covert or anything else And so. I reached out. And i said here's here's the evidence They blew me off. I reached out to again. And i'd attached an affidavit from my immunologist as well as to leading public Stoller sir. I'm sure you're familiar with jay body charge at stanford martin cool dorks harvard. The presenting all the evidence to show this george mason again. Just blew me off Issue their policy saying that everybody had to get back and and so i reached out to the new civil liberties alliance at that point and some ask them to represent me so we brought a lawsuit eventually george mason and they're giving the medical exemption after all this In civil and changed the rules so that wasn't being disadvantaged as much as i had so the lawsuit itself has been resolved. But now there's you know many cases now following raising the same issue as vaccine mandates of spread around the country.

social media and said that he was going to take a break and I believe if you try to go to his account now is down he's gone right so can you please stay out he posted a couple days ago and we just never got around to talking about it's that's where we're talking about it now I'm that he was taking a break from social media he said in his note to Instagram followers which is where he chose to make this bold statement quote I'm gonna take a break and come off socials for a minute I've been trying to get inspired increase again and to be honest I don't really feel or at least I haven't felt very creative on social in the last couple years now I'm gonna go and be just in the real world for awhile and off my phone I'll probably come back at some point but if I do I don't want to have it I but if a new one have a direction or a clear point of view of why I'm here and what I'm putting out there love YA CI after a while so that's Channing Tatum's Sir so long farewell a synchronized on the social media front okay so I have a couple things about this that I just find to be strange and odd like I love it people do this people take social media breaks I get it and oftentimes I think there's an impulse are in need two or a perceived need to say Hey guys I'm gonna leave for awhile FYI but that's almost feels a little bit self serving to be like I'm gonna go just so you guys know where I am because the truth is you can be in charge of your own social media break at any given time you can delete the apps from your phone you can have some self what's that stuff called self reflection yeah but what what's it called when you can control your impulses control you have some self control I don't have a lot of it that's why I forgot the word you can have self control and not check that stuff you don't have to do a dramatic exit which is what tells me that there's something yes about canning Tatum that he wants us to understand also to borrow a an audio clip that you know they play a lot in the morning show I don't I don't care I just kinda don't care and I'm glad for him if that's genuinely how we feel right meaning also just the wording I'm a take a break and come off socials for a minute and I'll look yeah but that's Channing Tatum but I always think when there's a celebrity what we know nothing Israel everyone smokes so if he's making such pointed point to come off socials for a mo then I ask myself did to your earlier point why yeah what's the point of them what are you trying to communicate to me but now if it truly is what he says creek we could all use that sure although I do I do I do think there is something very weird about intentionally removing yourself from social media in such a visible way right I guess because you what you're doing is actually that's all about look at me everything about that is look at me look what I'm doing and part of it is his career right so it's a little different than you and I in the sense that he has a beer any a seventeen million followers so would be weird if he just disappeared and didn't say anything right yeah but it would also be weird if you like never checked it and it just sat there and right or like well nothing's going on so I kind of understand that he would have to say something but I just I'm I really question the something what is it that he's trying to accomplish well because the real is here yeah exactly because the truth really is you can make as a human being any decision you want and you really don't people any type of explanation for what that decision is or why but we get tripped up with this idea for this notion that we have to explain to people why we've made a decision that we've made and that's why this seems really normal but I do think it's about something bigger I don't I wonder do we know what his next project is or if you have the next project all of the reason I'm asking is because most recently he was using his social to talk about that weird app do you remember that the pattern the pattern and that got a ton of press and like that worked I bet you got paid for that so there's he's he was using the socials took create waves just the other day also the thing that okay suit you're an actor is such as you like as a human being he's an actor he's a businessman he has businesses like yes presumably still a business stake in magic Mike live that whole experience like it is weird that you know he would remove himself which makes me think there's either something bad that he's trying to avoid head off at the pass or that there's some way he's trying to use social media by leaving and then coming back like it's a stunt like Hey Frank will celebrities do this all the time most notably people like Taylor swift Katy Perry lady Gaga rather album you know they're going to disappear and then they come back with all new stuff so just makes me think that there might be something about that work because of that weird video he did for that app where he's like what's this playing with the fighting in people are like do do do your weird something's going on it doesn't seem right maybe it was in some way connected to that right so we we have no answers to questions we do have the end of the day it's just seems a little weird and not necessarily what it served up to to be to your point that like there is there is a reason for him to be on social media he has like a vested interest in what his social media accounts do it seems to me that the better choice would be if he needed to suck leave social media so be it but wouldn't use that hire somebody to manage your social media so you continue to have a presence that's why I just say like you know I'm not I'm gonna turn over control of my social accounts to just make sure I'm updating you guys on the different work that I'm doing but don't expect to see me commenting on my day to day stuff and that's why I feel like there's something more to this and we're supposed to be talking about it and something more is coming we see Channing Tatum we hope you're okay but we CO mostly you're absolutely is your own social me that's true but we'd like to see more of your ABS when we come back on the Colleen and Bradley shall we gotta talk about Gwyneth Paltrow we got to get the Cooper's Cooper's together because she saved something else not just yoga something else we'll tell "I think I'd wanna hear you want that kind of interference in our elections. They have information. I think I'd take it, it happens all the time. It's happened for years, every politician is going to accept opposition research that he's just telling the truth. You wanna politician to lie to you, because there's playing that will lie to you, and then turn around and absolutely open their ears to foreign information. Here is what here's what Lindsey Graham had to say that's not the right answer. If a foreign government comes to you, as a public official offers to help your camping, giving you anything, whether it be money or information on your opponent. The, the right answer is no. The Nancy Pelosi. Sir. So cavalier to disregard to be different should long and any sense of ethics that who we are as a country to say he would invite fine at enter venture. I mean they all would take it. They just wouldn't talk about it. That's the thing. I it's like it's like oh, they're so upset that he failed to lie and give the right answer. Well he was just being honest. I but I feel like he's missing the opportunity here or I should say he's, he's ignoring the reality of what happened in two thousand sixteen. He's ignoring the fact that Russia did interfere or try to interfere, depending on your definition with the election in two thousand sixteen and the, the correct answer. Like Lindsey Graham said, the correct answer is, I don't want to have any foreign government any influence on our elections apples and oranges. You know, Russia able to affect social media and plant bad stories and all of that is comp-. Clearly different from Russia, picking up the phone and saying, you know, Hillary is, is in bed with DMC, and they're, and they're sabotaging Bernie Sanders. But that was the point of the Trump Tower meeting, or I should say that was what Donald junior thought was going to be the point of the Trump Tower meeting with visits. Right. Because she said, she had dirt on Hillary Clinton. And he said, well, I'm gonna get in good with my dad here and I'm going to be my favorites. I'm going to be his favorite son over dimples Kushner, and I'm going to bring him the dirt, and she turned out. This because she was Russian was a coincidence. I don't think that, that I don't think that she was a major factor in Russia's interfering with the election. But the thing I mean, I understand the eight year she had connections to the Kremlin appearance of it looks terrible. And the fact that he wouldn't lie about accepting foreign information is just a bad move. But he says they all do I believe that they all have their ears open for any sort of opposition research that way. And help them the these you that bothered me the most about this. I think in was the. The president saying that the FBI director was not an interference. They have information. I think I'd take if I can find that back. Oh here it is. This is the follow up on that. Same question putting yourself in a position year. Congressman somebody comes up and says, hey I have information on your opponent. You call the. You do. I've seen a lot of things over my life. I don't think in my whole life I've ever called the FBI in my whole life. I don't.

"Sir. So the subject of the book, you know, one of the things that we constantly have we've talked about it quite a bit a name that comes up all the time is this guy Imron Awan, and all of a sudden like all the conservatives, I know across the country. Everybody all their heads whip around it like, wait Imran Awan does another story. And the guy is at the center of it. Of course has been Luke, Luke, what is this new book about obstruction of Justice? What does it get to? This is a book for people that looked at the two thousand sixteen election and saw the way that the investigation into Hillary Clinton. Kind of went away and this probe into ties between Russia and Trump was systematically architect by the Democrats. So when you look at all that, and you wonder what kind of Justice system. Do we have in America? Well, I looked at this one remarkable case, that's the case that other than the few instances that you've mentioned really people don't talk about the haven't heard about it. And that's a case where this Pakistani guy who was hired by Democrats was caught hacking congress at the same time that the whole Russia thing began. And so what this book shows is number one the insane stuff that happened on Capitol Hill, which is really like a movie and number two. The reason why this guy was never charged. Why this was never exposed. And why we never hear about it. And the reason that's so interesting to me is because it shows the techniques that the Democrats used to kind of control really puppeteer you could say what we hear about. And what's in the news? And what we view as the main issues of our time. So while there's like a cooked up national security concern about twenty sixteen about Russians getting Trump elected when in fact. Campaigned better than Hillary. There's a real national security crisis going on inside of congress that nobody wants to talk about right? And it's extraordinary. I mean, the guy was caught hacking congress, and they left him on the network until after the election for reasons that they cannot possibly justify the investigator who caught it the inspector general of congress was basically framed on ethics charges and driven out as a result of not wanting to her unwillingness to continue to drop this case, you've got policies people basically screaming at her to make it go away. And so they find that the House Democratic caucus server has gone missing. While it's evidence in this case capitol police document that in a memo guy flees the country with nine thousand dollars in cash and takes Debbie Wasserman Schultz, laptop and leaves it in a phone booth. This is wild stuff, it's truly bizarre. And we were never going to hear about any of this stuff. I mean, the House Democratic caucus server going missing in what world is that normal? Where are the Republicans on this? They have to know this is going on. So what are they doing about it? And that's a big focus of the book. And that's one of the most interesting parts of this to me is that you have to remember that as you say Paul Ryan was in charge of the house when this incurred, and so this began in congress and went over to the FBI eventually, and that's where the the the Democrats really had their tentacles. But what is so interesting is how the Democrats managed to exert control when they're even when they're in the minority, and when people talk about deep state kind of conspiratorial, and maybe it is. But to me that's kind of what they're talking about is the ability to use back doors and back channels in government, so instead of going through the front door, they're working the mid level people, and they're very good at making this happen. And so the book a lot of it is kind of you wouldn't expect it from the title of the book. But when you pick it up, it's kind of takes you. It's very insider book for people here in DC. I I suspect it's caused a lot of concentration on Capitol Hill because it actually follows this at the staff level, and it's like this is pretty unprecedented to say what staffers do on Capitol Hill. But they're the ones who are. Are running a lot of these things. And so there's a guy in this book. I call them the puppeteer, and this is like the guy behind the curtain in congress, and he's so good at sort of causing the dominos to fall an architect things. And to me. That's just a really interesting cat and mouse story, right? So so tell me more about this guy who is he what it and what kind of Domino's did he tip? So and I don't want to give too much weight. I wanna leave some for. This is the guy this involves the administration committee of congress. So this is behind the scenes guy. And basically, he's lying scheming tricking the Republicans in in various pretty elaborate ways, but then also kind of playing to the Republicans insecurities. And so one thing they do is. They say, hey, you guys were in charge of congress. This was really really bad. What happened Paul Ryan? Why did you let this happen? And so they put him on the defensive. But then they also just kind of trick them. And are like, oh, we we shouldn't talk about the talk to the media. Let's make a deal and neither side we'll talk to the media. And of course, the Democrats break it on the first day, but the Republicans are kind of played by like fools again. And again because the Republicans said, well, we made a deal we have to stick to our keep our work. So you know, that the Democrats are not only talking to the media. But there just completely lying to the media. So this goes on and on and the capitol police are threatened the evidence disappear. Remember that? In fact, there was a time where you had Debbie Wasserman Schultz threatening capitol police. What happened? So they find this guy is banned from congress, and he takes her laptop leaves booth and she uses her position as the committee that controls the capitol. Police's budget to say, yeah, there's gonna be consequences. If you don't give it back and later on she tries to disband, the board of the capitol police to get this the chief of police officer. There is an enormous influence campaign behind the scenes, that's detailed in the book. Because this was so extraordinary people were very frightened on Capitol Hill now hourly if you went to Google the name Imran Awan Washington Post would come up and say it's been debunked. It's a conspiracy theory. And so when you read this book, obstruction of Justice, what it does is it lays out the evidence, and you can compare that to what the FBI said. And therefore what the media kind of blindly echoed, and what really what it shows you is who can we trust anymore? I mean, this is a almost a post-truth world. We're living in where the FBI can be manipulated. And these are institutions that we used to rely on. And it's like. This is truly. It's no wonder we're so divided as a country. I think because you see the things that the FBI is done. You see the things then even going back to the broader stuff with Hillary Clinton, Bruce and Peter stroke. I mean, this is kind of systematic and at the end of the day. It's like you read this book, and it's like my God. This is truly an elaborate case of rigging a criminal case for political purposes. And you wonder how often how often it happens? So not to jump ahead to the end. But I gotta know because I think our audience, especially is really wanting to know. Okay. So now, this is out there you've written a book about this. Is it so embarrassing for the Republicans that they're just going to let this die and let this go away or do you think with getting fresh blood into the FBI into the DOJ that we may see some investigation into this. I think at this point the focus of my book is to shine the spotlight on the people in congress, the FBI and the DOJ who deliberately like threatened witnesses. Destroy evidence went missing misconduct on the part of government investigators because at the end of the day. This guy is a horrible horrible person. If you read the book, he's associate path he's got connections to foreign governments. He infiltrated congress. That's scary. But it some ways it's more scary that the people we trusted put their own political careers of our national security, and congress has a tendency to do this. And so this kind of started and they painted in at the end by oh, it must be Islam phobic. It must be conservatives. Mad at Democrats. If you read the book, I think people would be shocked it's written in a very sympathetic way to the Democrats, and it's written in a very you can see how this began and it's democratic staffers who were deeply concerned by what they saw and they were essentially retaliated against as this massive campaign of sort of cover up in suit, and at the end of the day, this kind of began with a theft scheme in congress where there was forty members of congress. They were cooking the books and so when they were buying equipment. They would change the prices. So that it was treated as petty cash is on record, and they kind of want this to go away. Yeah. You know, members of congress Democrats rarely like airing their laundry Luke Rosiak will continue to dump out the basket when he joins us after the next after this break, it's eight fifteen.
