"Your weekend. Your weekend, it's irrelevant ten years from now. Who cares? What's in it for me? You got to come in and tell the listener what they're going to gain. So today, on this episode, I'm talking, hey, Michael and I are going to have a great conversation. What's really cool is Michael has is almost about to launch his podcast. So if you are almost about to launch your podcast, this podcast episode is going to be for you. And if you know somebody, don't let them miss out on this value, please share it with them. You're in for a treat, right? So that's what the first thing that I say. I'm not asking you about your day, your weekend, your month, your year, your kids. I care about that. Michael, I care about you, man. But my listener doesn't give a shit. They don't care. They care about themselves. And so we got to give them a big promise in the very beginning. What are you going to get out of this episode? Why are you here? After we give a big promise, what do we have to deliver on the promise? We say you're going to get value. And then we give value. And then at the end, we might wrap it up and say, you got value. And this is what you should do about it. Give them a CTA, a call to action. So if you, on the length of your episode, if it's 5 minutes, cool. If it's 25, 35 minutes, cool. If it's one hour, two hours, three and a half hours, that's fine, as long as it's entertaining and valuable. Educational. If they're getting these takeaways, if they're entertained, they're having fun. If they're getting actual value, that they can use to be a better real estate investor to be able to use utilize skip force as a service to skip trace for them as with these thousand other members, other subscribers, then there are going to be able to take that action. The length of it just needs to be enough to do those things. No more, no less. Cool. Yeah, absolutely, man. I want to respect your time because I got questions, right? Let's do it. Let's do it. I want to respect your time. So how much time do we have? We got about ten minutes. Let's do about 5, ten minutes. So two ish questions. Awesome. Awesome, man. So what are the biggest, like, what are the challenges that you did not foresee? When you started this journey and then you look back and go, okay, well, gosh, I didn't know that was coming. One of the biggest ones is I was thinking to myself that Apple was so excited that Adam Adams was starting a podcast. I made the wrong assumption that Apple was like waiting for me to start this podcast. You know why? Because I watched a movie called field of dreams. And they say, if you build it, they will come, and I believed in that shit. I'm just gonna build it, and they'll just come. I'm gonna be a freaking famous person just because I have a podcast. Apple's gonna be so giddy. Like they've been waiting for me to do it. So mistaken number one that I wish I didn't do is I never marketed my podcast. I believed Apple would do it for me. So I ended up swimming upstream.

"And then we have a third tier, the lowest tier. It has no promise, no guarantee, no money back, anything. It just means you'll have a podcast. And that is a one episode a week. You have to at least commit to one episode per week. We don't have anything smaller. So the best cadence, I would say, is 14 a week based on what Joe fairless would reply. And there's a lot of reasons we already shared, but the absolute minimum, if you want to be top 1%, podcast, three a week. Absolutely minimum. If you want to be top 10% podcast, two a week. And I'm just saying and pouring into the listener right now, and you, Michael, you don't want to be less than top 10%. I promise. You definitely don't want. So I hope that can convince you to do to a week or more. And then what's the length, the duration of each and every episode, it doesn't matter. I've looked at all of the data, all of the stats, there are extremely popular podcasts that are three and a half hour long podcasts. There are other podcasts that are very valuable, serve their audience and get a ton of traction that are 5 minute episodes. And there's a lot of people that pretend to know, but they don't know shit. They try to tell you that it has to be 25 minutes long. They bring up this evidence that the average commute is 30 minutes. And so you need it to be slightly under that. So that people can listen to the whole thing. Bogus information. Don't ever think that you need to lengthen your podcast because Joe Rogan has a three and a half hour podcast and he's popular. So I've got it somehow length in my podcast to make it three and a half hours, even though it's boring, even though I don't have good content. And even though I've already ran out of things to say on that episode and so we're just trying to fill time because it works for Joe, I need to be three and a half hours. So I'm just going to fill the time with shit.

"And Bill Swartz. Swept in Texas, Mariners playoff hopes floats in homeport. Hot hitting Texas Rangers won all three games from Seattle in the Lone Star State. Sunday's nine to eight loss leaves the M's a half game behind Houston for the third AL wildcard. But now Julio Rodriguez and the Mariners have a golden opportunity as they host the Astros starting tonight. Definitely going to be a special being in front of the home crowd, feeling their energy. I know they're going to be into that game so I'm definitely looking forward to see them over there at home. All -star Luis Castillo is the M starting pitcher and old nemesis Justin Verlander throws for Houston. Kenneth Walker ran for two touchdowns. Jason Myers booted five field goals. The Hawks held off Carolina 37 -27 at Lumen Field. Boy the 12s helped out Seattle's defense, causing noise and eight Panthers false start penalties. I'll take that any day, eight false starts. What's the record 11. So we need to break that next home game. Linebacker Jordan Brooks two and one Seahawks play next Monday night at the New York Giants. Jim Singletary, chief roof nerd here from roof smart attic ventilation requires the proper balance of air intake and exhaust. Getting this balance right is tough, which is why many roofers mess up attic ventilation or skip it altogether. That's a huge problem. A poorly vented attic can develop a rot and mold in the winter and actually get hot enough to cook your shingles the in summer. Voids the warranty too. At roof smart we get attic ventilation right. "Every single day, he's front page of Google. First, top left, always showing up every single day. And it would be even better for him if he showed up twice in a day. So at midnight, for example, he's already up the top page of Google. And then halfway through the day, let's call it noon. He's back at the top page. And so it doesn't matter when somebody who's subscribed to his podcast goes and checks out podcasts. Joe is always first top left. Above and beyond anyone else, so he gets what's called the grease. Because the squeaky wheel gets the grease. And he's the squeaky wheel because he's publishing more content than anyone else. Constantly in front of the people, constantly making them to think about him as the go to for that content. So when you ask under duration, so some of them the length of the episode you mean? Yeah. Let me answer duration of episodes right after this. And we'll talk about if it matters or not. Sure. So Joe does 20 minute episodes. I love how he could do that. I can't do that. I can not do that. He jumps in, he asks like three or four questions. And then he basically says, what's your best advice ever? And then he says, we're going to come back after this messages. And then he asks some rapid fire round. And the whole thing gets done in 2025 minutes. So he blocks out a 30 minute thing and he just jumps in and gets it all done. I want to go back to cadence. My belief is my own clients. We will not even serve you because we're assholes. We won't even serve you. We won't even look at you if you're not going to publish at least one episode per week. You know why? Because you're going to fail. You're definitely going to fail and then my name is attached to your name as I'm a fail or two. I don't want to fail, so I only work with people if they do at least. Weekly episodes, 4.333 episodes a month. Always, and non consistent. But what's better than that? Two episodes a week is better than one. It's more than double. It's there's a synergistic thing. You know how it's like one plus one equals three. Well, one, two episodes a week isn't the equivalent of two episodes a week. It has some type of exponential growth because of the additional content and everything we already talked about where you have more shareable content where you're on the first page of Google more often. Well, the first page of Apple more often to put it more directly. The first page of Apple more often. And you're also going to have more conversations with people, and they will talk to their people who share it with their people.

"At the very end, one of my passive investors who listened to my own podcast, they heard that they're supposed to do their due diligence on the operators. And so my own person came in, listened to my podcast and did due diligence on the on all of the general partnership of this apartment building that we were going to buy. It was like a $20 million apartment building, and I was going to own this tiny fraction by raising $2 million, right? And my past investor found out that one of those guys had a security violation is not allowed to raise money and is not allowed to do anything because of this past violation. And so I'm embarrassed. My listener says I'm pulling out and we had raised like 2 million. Most of the money came from that one guy that was a listener. So he's like, I'm pulling out. So I didn't know what to do. And so we ended up completely leaving and we lost crazy amount of money. Hundreds of thousands of dollars. And so I share this on Joe's podcast. And then what he does while I'm being recorded on that is he calls back to the old one that was like a year and a half or two years before. And so now the listener is going to hear this compelling story about this person who almost partnered with the wrong person. And then he's going to get curious about one of these other episodes. All right. So Joe has all of this value where he's got the four new people. He's got his solo and he's got these two where he invites his guest back. And that's helping him to be able to grow his business. That's helping him to be able to connect with more people. Have more conversation with more people. Get more exposure. On the first four, one of the special things that he does is make sure that those four, he tries his best. It doesn't always happen. He tries his best at those four people, have never been on a podcast before. Write that down because it's actually important. Why does it matter that those people have never been on a podcast before? It matters because they're more likely to share the episode. When you get these people that have been like Michael, when you get Michael on your podcast, Michael, I could be completely wrong, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say, when you did your podcast tour, you didn't promote every single one of those. It was too many for you because you were on so many. You might have done a couple. You might have done the first few. You might have done, then you're going to spot check and only do the ones that you're really proud of, but you're not going to share all of them. Well, that's the same thing that Joe was going through. He realized that he needed these four people. He wanted as many as possible that they have never been on a show before.

"It was such an honor and a privilege and I was so proud to be jumping on some of these stages. One of those stages was Joe fairless. Joe has a daily podcast. And there was this woman, I was backstage, and I was having to follow Joe. I had to be the person after Joe, which sucks. I don't know why they put me there because I'm like this peon compared to him. Hashtag impostor syndrome. And so I'm like this peon compared to him. He's speaking on stage and I'm like getting ready and course I got the nervous sweats, my pits are horrible. And it goes to Q&A, and I'm glad that it's at Q&A, but it's making me sweat more as I'm stressed. And this lady at raises her hand and I'm seeing her from backstage because she's like riding the front right next to Joe. And she asked me, all smug, like she basically already knows that Joe is going to say the answer, nope. I wouldn't do it. It's too hard. That's what she's assuming. So he raises her hand. She says, Joe, if you had to do it all over again, would you still do a daily podcast? A once a day show and Joe thinks about it for about two seconds. It didn't take him long and his answer was no. I wouldn't do a once a day podcast. But he followed it up with something that nobody would have expected. He said, if I did it all over again, I would do it twice a day podcast. Now you're basically hearing everybody be like, oh, you know, like, what the hell? Why would he do that? And so he answers a couple of questions. So this is to answer Michael's question about what's the right cadence? How frequently should I publish an episode? So in Joe fairless, experience. And he's one of the top podcasters in all podcasts, but certainly real estate investing. So he says, no, I would do it twice a day podcast instead. And now everybody's like surprised and he follows it up with, when you are on when you have somebody on your podcast, they are going to hear your podcast. They're going to know about your podcast. His whole thing and how he's making so much money and raising so much private capital. He literally owns like $2 billion of assets. The highest I ever got was a 100 million. He is at like two $1 billion in asset. It's insane what how much they're running. But it's made it easier because of his podcast being a daily podcast. And he thinks it would be even better if he did twice a day podcast. Why? It's because all of these additional conversations. So he

"Couple of pops, small pops, every now and again, hard to find, maybe the listeners still hasn't heard it. But I'm hearing a couple of pops, and then the other thing is that I'm hearing a lot of reverb. And so I'm thinking about what kind of room you might be in. I see that a giant TV right behind you. That's non porous. Of course, something's going to bounce off that. But I'm curious if you got a whole bunch of Windows. If you got bare floors, you've got bear ceilings. If you got bare walls, what kind of room are you? I do. So I'm in my office, essentially, completely virtual, and I work from home now. So my office is like literally my desk and everything's over here and my studio is right here. I'm going through road tests or pro and I'm not even I'm not a 100%. I don't know if the settings may be wrong, right? Or maybe I need to put some paddings on the wall so that the sound doesn't bounce off. Tell me the exact mic that you're using. Let me look it up and see. I don't know the exact is it the rode pod mic is the pod mic. Yeah. I pretty sure that's a dynamic. I swear it is. Yep, it's a dynamic mic. Okay, and that looks like the right one. So and it was about a hundred bucks. Yeah, something like that. And it works. Here's what I want you to do. I want you to look at your RODECaster pro that your rode pod mic is hooked into. And what I want you to check is the where the XLR cable hooks in into the back, whichever one that might be on number one, is it on number one? It is on number one. Okay, tell me where your slider is. Your volume slider for that track. It's on the third level. Okay, so it's 30% volume.

"How uncomfortable can that feel? It's got to be crazy, but he's doing it and he's putting in the reps. The other thing that I want to share is peace feedback that I don't think Michael needs, but you who's listening might need this. I am dyslexic. I'm ADD. I don't think I'm the most eloquent person at all. And I remember, I always have these memories of getting made fun of when I was in kindergarten, a kindergarten is what holds me back from everything. And so I've become a shy person. My listener probably doesn't always think that I'm shy because to somebody who's put in the reps. But I was very timid, shy, afraid. I don't want to put myself out there. I don't want to get made fun of. If I am myself, then people are going to know who I am, and then I could be judged for who I am. So I'm going to be somebody else. I'm going to pretend I'm going to do this. And it was really challenging when I started my first podcast. Now, I put in over 850 reps so far. 850 over the last like four or 5 years, content, 850 different episodes, 850 different conversations with other entrepreneurs pouring into my listener, trying to add value. And I still don't think I'm that great. I still get what they call impostor syndrome. And so it's like, I'm hosting the podcast on podcasting. I have the gall to launch this podcast, and there are many podcasters that are better than me. have millions more subscribers. But I have this. And it's like, who am I to say that? And then I also realized, hey, I might be too long winded. I might give too many details. I might not have be as eloquent as the last person. I'm not as well spoken as the other podcaster. I'm not as smart with books because I never read a book. I don't want to read a book. And so I have all this stuff holding me back, and it makes it real hard to have a podcast. So the takeaway here is what does Adam do that helps him to be able to still put out content even when he has impostor syndrome. Even when he's done 850, how does he still feel this way? And I want to share there's two ways to think about putting out content. Number one is, what do people think of me? What, how do I sound right now? And when you're self reflecting like that, your content is shit. It's not helping anyone. Other way to do it. Who is my avatar? Who's my listener? What do they need? What are they going through? How can I help them? How can I serve them? And then you change it from getting inside your head, of needing to be perfect, and then you're getting inside your heart of needing to show and give that real actual value. But your outwardly focus, something divine happens. I don't care if you believe in God or the universe or something else or nothing at all. I'm saying something divine happens when you get out of your own head and you start adding value to the person that you believe, you need to add value to. Get connected somehow. And then your speaking, even though I'm still not eloquent, even though I'm still not well spoke and even still not smart, even though I still feel self conscious,

"It's right now. And so it's just creating that content. I don't think I was ready, but now I feel comfortable within myself and within the space to be able to take that leap. Yeah. I think I want to share two quick things for the listener. Now, Michael's saying, speaking wasn't always this thing, he was always afraid of it. So I've got two pieces of advice. One of them is about flexing muscles exercising certain muscles that make you better at them. You can't. You've got to do them. Michael and I were talking about my health journey and calories right before we started recording. I've got this trainer that I've been hiring for ever since it's probably like 8 months. It's worked remarkably well. But a couple of things is every 6 weeks. He switches my workout on me. So every 6 weeks, I get a totally different thing. And it's always harder than the last time. But after about three or four or 5 or 6 weeks, you're used to all of those new movements. You had me doing weighted lunges. Now lunges suck, they burn up your butt. They burn up your hamstrings. They're just horrible. And then he was like, put on weight. Do as much weight. You're like wobbling, right? You can not hardly stand up. Your quads hurt, your ham shirt, your butt hurts, and it's like you're getting Charlie horses, it's physical pain, you're wondering if you should even go on anymore. And it's crazy. Every time he switches it up.

"The Seahawks fell to 7 and 8. The bills wrapped up a division title as David Schuster reports. Josh Allen threw a pair of touchdown passes and rushed for another as the bills ramped up the AFC east with a 35 13 victory over the bears. It's the next progression in our goal. Actually, playoffs, division title, and we know what the next one is so I got a couple more games to put our best foot forward and just try to go execute to the best of our ability. Buffalo's run game was extremely productive with 254 yards, Devin Singletary rushed for 106 and a score while James cook had 99 yards and also found the end zone. The Vikings pulled out another tight victory, defeating the Giants 27 24 on Greg Joseph 61 yard field goal this time expired. I felt really good off the foot, so I

"That's how good it was. You know? It almost kills you, but you just love it. It's true. So I'm sorry, we were talking about the massive weight loss of the bills offensive lineman after Miami. It's just gonna be because I tend to, you know, just put a little asterisk next to teams coming off massive snap counts on the defensive side of the ball. And this will be interesting to see, you know, they certainly stylistically play in a fashion where you don't need your offensive line to absolutely dominate in this game. You have a quarterback who obviously solves a lot of problems. And you like to throw the ball around. And I think they have done such a good job of winning with off script stuff to the point where I was really, I've been really impressed with Isaac McKenzie we knew could do that. It was gonna be a big part of that. Devin Singletary, I think, impressed me a lot in terms of, I think he's better understanding when Josh Allen is on the move. How can I make myself more useful? And how can I make myself more valuable to the offense? And I think with a sort of really smartly paired check down option that is going to be as dynamic as Josh elm. Like if you can fit in that role and be that guy, I remember just thinking like ladainian Tomlinson used to be so good at that. I mean, that's part of the reason that it made him such a good player. And I'm not comparing the two of them. So stop it. But, you know, I think that that is trouble against a relatively young secondary, especially, you know, and Kyle Hamilton had a good game last week, but some of these guys are going to have to be forced to cover a lot. And Ken Dorsey has proven that even without Brian Abel, he can get those match ups, he can get these guys in space. It's going to be a tough assignment. It's been a really interesting sort of evolution of this offense here, because look, you said it early in the preseason, you know, everyone's going to be looking for the check down, guys. With all these split safety looks, all these conservative secondaries, it's going to be the year of the check down. And we've seen that in some places where it's already kind of become predictable. You know, we talked about this a little bit about the Sunday Night game and you have a quarterback in Denver who is kind of chosen to frequently check down, but has also strangely not taken advantage of opportunities to run for large chunks of yards.

"It's the quarterback. And the top four receivers are their most talented offensive players. Yeah, I think he's trying to say that like, but when that doesn't work, you have to be just in the second half to be able to run the ball. And I thought about that, but I thought God, I'm just going to say there was nothing that made me think all of a sudden if they went a steady there was one drive. It was an April somewhere in the second half, and they didn't score. Obviously it was in a play drive. Five touches were Singletary. Maybe a couple passes. I think maybe five runs for whatever 31. It was like, Let's put the ball in Devon Singletary's hands. And not in the other guy's hands, and they didn't score on the drive. I don't think if they all of a sudden table says screw it. We need a steady diet of Singletary and Brita that the all of a sudden that the offense would have sparked and come to life when they did when they got their lone touchdown by the way. Joshua, seven for eight and that drive and the one pass that was incomplete. He threw into the stands because nobody was open. They scored on one drive because of their passing game. That is what will drive this football team. I don't think I switched to the running game I did think about I honestly did. Hey, passing is not working. Maybe they should run it more. I don't think I would have made a difference in the game yesterday. The player talking the sideboard ways past the digs for loss of two like the Steelers were just all over it. I mean, and it's the second play of a game in the first quarter passing sideways. Sometimes it works. Sometimes they do quick hitches if they're worried about the pass rush, right? You throw it sideways, and it's like a wide receiver screen bubble screen. Whatever they throw sideways, they threw sideways to Beasley. But yesterday, sometimes the root of his point here. I mean, I think it's fine to say what you say like you need to be able to run the ball if it's if the past isn't working. If the things you do against the other teams aren't working. You need to run better in to establish the run. Here's the Here's the only problem with that. We've watched them run with this team. They don't run particularly well with this team. Singletary's never had like this monster stretch where he's carried them on his back. Neither is Moss. Brady is a you know, street free agent guy they pick up because they want to add a little bit of Pass catching and apparently some special teams. They brought back the entire offensive line that last year they felt they didn't run well enough with so I guess what you get to is you want to say when the past isn't working like it really wasn't working. Great. They couldn't really do much. You want to be able to switch gears and say, All right, you know what? Let's do the other thing. The problem is, I don't see any evidence for why they should be able to do that other thing. They don't. They aren't built for it. They brought back a line that they couldn't do with it. That exact thing you want. They couldn't do that last year. There are they drafted a running back in the third round two years ago. He was inactive yesterday. You know, they drafted a certain kind of back that I'm not trying to blame the backs here or the design. You know the personnel. I think the personnel groupings might be the biggest puzzler for me. The four receiver sets. It's one of the reasons that when they signed Jacob Hollister We thought I wonder if we'll have any 12 personnel. Well, we have always seen any too tight end sets from this team. And that definitely didn't happen yesterday, Right? I mean, unless Sweeney was swinging might have got ahead for the short yardage package. Maybe I should check the snap counts, but You know? Being did talk about Travis. Kelsey, by name, Love to have a guy like that They don't have that guy and maybe for all the things were saying, what they really need is the ability to look like they'll either run or pass from the formation and be threatening in both because I don't think they're threatening to run the ball from any formation. Really? And if they have, you know if you watch the Chiefs if you watch what the Browns do, the Browns have a good run game and they throw it. Effectively with play action. The bills can use play action effectively, sometimes as well. It's just I We've had so many colours saying Run it more. Do you just think that if they run it more, it will start to work better. It only worked once you were down 10. I think the only reason why I would guess shouldn't say that they were. They were okay. It's not like you were running into a brick wall. The only I think for most of the run it More callers. It's not There have been some that have said. When you know it's the old school. We need more balanced. Gotta. I think most of the running more callers are if you looked at and thought, okay, three quarters in passing game just not having a good day. For whatever reason, Josh is off the line struggling, blah, blah, blah. Hey, day able just just for now. Yeah. Put the ball in single to his hands more Don't like I said. I think they did try and do that in the fourth quarter. T J Watt a little more honest here, So it's not just rushing on every play because they know the bills throw all the time. Yes, I think that's this is not a night for me. Anyway. This is not a discussion of is it Time to philosophically tweak the offensive approach? No. Or tweak it Offensive? No, of course it isn't. Because again, that's what the other team wants you to do. The other Miami and Washington and Houston. I don't need to go through the whole schedule. They would all love to see you put the ball less often in the hands of Sanders, Beasley digs Davis and put it more in the hands of Singletary, Moss and Brita. So why would you want to do that?.

"Was Bill Barnwell. Thank you. I'm sorry. My microphone came off my little stand here. So I'm trying to fix it Frantically, but, yeah, Bill Barnwell. Thank you. That's why I went with tried texting you the name and it just came through. That's okay. You go. You know, three or 5 51 85 52 5 50 A. Ah, a rookie Dynasty draft that is missing bills. Rookies. You know each never year last few years, you might have picked up Zach Mosque, E Davis, Devon Singletary, Um Maybe even a Dawson knocks. You know, the bills have had some young rookies work, drafting and dynasty startups and all that, and And he sort of rookie draft this year. Not really. You're not going to touch too many bills unless you do one of those leagues with, you know, defensive players. I? Ah, I had a great idea for a new feature of a fantasy league. Paul, I'm gonna tell you about it later on something I need, in fact in fantasy, and it ties in actually to the sabers current situation, so Um, concept that for a little later 803 or 5, 50 to join us. 18885 52 5 50 the central scouting the final rankings come out. And any is there any surprise breaking? I mean, you know, the sometimes the midterm and the final rankings will be different. It's not all that often that a guy that was it. Number one in the midterms goes down to number 12 in the final that has happened before. Um, but final rankings out. Is there any surprise? No, not really. Just you know, this year just was such a difficult year because of covert 19. Some of these prospects that were highly ranked didn't necessarily get a ton of action. Like Mason McDavid, For example, he's number two in the North American rankings, and he only played 13 games the cheer over in Switzerland because The away. Gel didn't even get their season going at all this year, so he had to go find another place to play. He ends up going to play in Switzerland but still scores nine goals and puts up 11 points in 13 games over and they're second tier professionally, so not necessarily bad. You know, there's a couple of the prospects near the top of the list that didn't get a lot of action this week this year again. It's It's a unique year for the draft because some of these guys they got the lucky opportunity. Like veneers. Ken Johnson own power to play in college hockey and get the chance to really improve their stock. And then some of these other prospects. They didn't really get that nice work load. It kinda improve their draft stock. So yeah, they're still ranked high, but I mean, again, this year's draft class to me. It reminds me a lot of the 2011 draft class because you know, there's a few really good players at the top. That should go in the top three top five that are going to be very, very good and a child players. But really the top 10 of this draft seems like it's going to still have a good group of players that are gonna have Pretty good NHL careers and be able to stick around in the NHL for quite some time. Do you think that there's no I mean, there's no real flashy, huge, awesome number. One idea here mean own power is the number one ranked North American skater. But I think the general feel I get from this NHL draft is there's no one big stud. Is that because of the class, or do you think that if we had had a normal last 18 months to two years, whatever that someone would have shown that I think I think you could easily make an argument for both because This year's draft class doesn't have that standout player, but, yeah, sure this year with given the Koven 19 circumstances and players not getting able to being able to get that full looking to a season, you know some of these guys that maybe are going to go down the board a little bit in the draft, you know. Once they get drafted and then go played a full season again. Maybe people will start to realize Oh, maybe he should have been drank a little bit higher in the draft, but he didn't get the chance to play is his draft here because of covert 19. So I think that there are a lot of unknowns with this draft that in terms of just guys down the board, they're certainly the guys that are up a little higher in the rankings, whether it's internationally or North America. I think a lot of them are you know the surefire Okay, These guys are gonna have good NHL careers and you know, developing a nice second line players. You know a few first liners maybe some third liners, but they're gonna have longevity. They're going to be able to play quite a long while in the NHL and You know the rankings. Everybody's gonna have their own rankings. That's the one thing that I've been noticing here, especially with these of these draft prospect profiles that I've been writing. I like Tonto site. Watch the film and I give my own thoughts and I'll write them all down. And then when I'm done, I kind of like, just compare. I kind of like, look at other people's thoughts just to see like if I'm seeing the same thing with some of these players, and not that I'm just like going crazy. And everybody wants to rank. These players all differently, like some people don't even have own power ranked in the top five skater some people haven't ranked is like number seven or number number eight number nine. Something like that. And then they'll have you know Kent Johnson, ranked number one, and then someone else. Ken Johnson be ranked number 12 or something like that. So this year is just such a weird year. And who knows what's gonna happen? Come July, 23rd. I think we're gonna have own power. You know, 12 or three. But then after that, it's kind of a crap shoot. And I think the one thing that is a consensus is that There is nobody NHL ready right here. So you know, I've I've asked. I've asked a couple different people, you know is this year where we can legitimately see no player that was drafted high in this draft. Start out right away. Anybody any each already and There are some guys that say No, there's nobody And then there's some guys that say, Well, there's maybe one or two people, especially the guy like William Ackland, who played in Sweden this past year. He got a full season in over there. And was playing top line minutes and was a key contributor offensively for them, So he's a guy that maybe if a team feels he's ready to make the jump to know to North America right off the bat can make that jump, but Other than that, I really don't think there's anyone in this class..

Mason McDavid Ken Johnson Bill Barnwell William Ackland Devon Singletary Kent Johnson 11 points 13 games E Davis Paul July, 23rd Sweden Zach Mosque 12 North America nine goals this week two people Switzerland both

"This point. Let's go to Mike and tunnel land on our discussion this morning might go right ahead. Hey, I was just wondering if Buffalo does try to move up for ET en. Do you think Singletary could be? Ah, Involved in the trade to move up. I don't think you'd be involved in the trade to move up. I think you'd be giving up. I assume you would give up draft capital. I mean, Depends. I guess also who you're moving up to get you on a 22, Tennessee. They don't need a running back, so I think it would depend on the team. But my guess is it's more likely draft capital. But what Jeremy and I were saying Mike is if they do trade up You get a running back? You would think one of Moss or Singletary would be traded because you got this guy. You got the other guy and you got breathing so there wouldn't you wouldn't need to keep everybody around. Exactly, But it depends. And as part of a deal to help get up, it would depend on what team you're talking to, you know, and I don't have no Tennessee's a 22. I just didn't I don't stop my head of camera crews at 21 2019. If a team needs a back then you could package a pick and you have running back. But you know what I like as a as a move in the bills did this in the Cordy Glenn trade? What if the what if the entire offer was Devin Singletary to move up? Oh, because the whole share Fine. I would. You're the Jaguars like where we had dropped nine spots and add an NFL player here doing I'm not sure that that he has that kind of value with the Bills traded Cordy Glenn, a left tackle. Who was good for them for a while to move from 23 to 12 A. Here's a player if we could just sweep swap spots if the bills were going to trade up to 23 The cost was Zach Moss instead of draft capital. How would you feel about it? We find with it. You feel better, Son? Of course I would You swap it out back for a back basic. What? Everybody feel better about it. If that were the cause. I can't speak for everybody on. Of course I try. I know. I just want to give up draft capital. If that's the deal, a running back for a running back. Fine. I would make that absolutely to move from 30 to 25. Yeah, sure. Years Zach Moss. Yes, because the bills would be in theory. You'd be upgrading at that position, and it didn't cost you a draft pick. I think you'd be more likely The bills would part with Singletary, though I would, too. I think they would keep more silver Singletary, too, But he's honestly either guy like I would have Don't think that would be the trade. But whatever. If that's it, you could take either guy and I'll be fine because I think you're getting a running back Who is going to be a bigger weapon in your offense and the two guys you have right now, and I'm not giving up a third round pick to move up to get him. Great. I mean, when you are the team that makes that move. What did you give up for? You know Devon Singletary and dropping how many's spine? I didn't give up anything. I got to slide nine spots from Jacksonville. It's on the pick. That wasn't even theirs to begin with. And you get what two years He's got two years left right on his contract for the U. F. So you get a couple years out of it, too. Just worth thinking about eight on three. Oh, five fits. Listen, That's not a dumb idea. No, I mean I would try it. A lot of people are saying that's not dumb. Oh, you're funny. No, I I know you didn't realize you were going for the humor thing, but no. If you could do that, if they really truly covered et en And they can get a deal where they give up one of their backs for him and no draft capital. Would sign off on the deal. Sure, absolutely. I think that would be marvelous. I want to keep all my picks. Um Jeez, Adolf. Sorry. It's like seven. Oh 38 all three old 5 50 to join us Patriots hot taking the Patriots draft. We get back because it's very interesting..

Mayor, former chief kept Daniel Prude's death secret, report says

"An investigation into the official response to Daniel Prudes, police suffocation death last year and Rochester, New York, is faulting the city's mayor and former police chief for keeping critical details of the case secret for months and lying to the public about what they knew. Report commissioned by Rochester's City Council and made public today, said Mayor Lovely. Warren lied at a September press conference when she said it wasn't until August that she learned officers had physically restrained prude during the March 23rd encounter. "Back to the wreck. Gentlemen, show you It's kind of funny. We're also focused on This get rich, quick nonsense with games stop over the past couple of weeks on. Of course, it's silly. A bunch of, you know young and experienced investors having fun doing in a stock market where they normally do in a video game, and it's been entertaining to watch a little scary for them. It's like watching your kid, you know, playing a playground and you're scared to death. They're gonna hurt themselves when they don't seem to care. But aside from the voyeuristic value of the story, it's kind of irrelevant to you. And may, isn't it? What is far more relevant. Is what really matters and that is helping you achieve financial security and retirement. I mean, at the end of the day, isn't that really what financial planning's primary goal is, is to help you achieve financial security in your elder years? That's certainly how we devote ourselves here. It element financial engines, and we know of course, that it has been extraordinarily challenged due to Cove it over the past year. With millions out of work, pay cuts across the board, the incredible stock market volatility that everybody has experienced and raising the question. Gosh am I still going to be able to retire? And that's assuming that you have the ability to save And that you have the long term time horizon that you need in order to achieve your goals. But we all know that millions of Americans lack those opportunities because of income inequity that exists in our nation. We know that there are tens of millions of Americans who don't earn very much money on who don't have access to effective financial advice from a professional and therefore don't take full advantage of the opportunities that are out there in the marketplace, which is why we've called this particular economy the K economy. One hand, those doing well are doing better, but on the other hand those doing badly or doing even worse. And so it's been bothering me for quite some time trying to figure out how do we fix this? And frankly, I'm not sure how we fix it for individuals today, but I have figured out how we can fix it. For your Children and grandchildren, who are yet to come. It was a lot of folks been spending the past few months, watching old movies and playing video games. I've been spending the past several months in this pandemic, figuring out how we solve income inequity in our country. And I'm very happy to introduce to you here right now. A new proposal, but I've created called Rise. Retirement income security for everyone. Michelle Singletary of The Washington Post broke the story last weekend. Let me share with you Hear What rise is it indeed eliminates poverty and income inequity in retirement For all future generations of Americans. There are five reasons why millions of Americans enter retirement without enough.

"Those guys came through and I think that was one of the things those air rounds. You know, 2nd 3rd 4th round Were you trying to get starters and he took big chances on those guys. And for the most part, those guys just never played for the organization or never affected for the organization and really hurt him. That kind of that kind of capital on I think you got to go back to. He was a He was a West Coast scout for this franchise, going back to the Alex Smith draft and then director of player personnel Vice prayer. He did a lot of things to build that you could go back and look at every draft. I could go through every team in the league. Net pick Miss takes, That's it. It's even Bella check is, But I'm saying, like I'm saying major a C L injuries that he kept you kept going kept also was involved in drafting Patrick Willis. They needed a draft. Patrick Willis was serviced apartment that he gets credit. I'm just for the guys that he picked. You know, I'm just saying that from from that standpoint, don't you think Part of his legacy is he drafted a lot of guys with a CL issues. Which is, you know you're taking a chance with that pick. That's all I'm saying. I'm not saying he didn't have hits and misses. I'm simply saying that one of the things that he's known for his team drafting a guy with a tornado cl in the eighties and nineties early two thousands that difference two guys to recover from a C l I hear you. I mean, you could go back and say guys got hurt. But it's football. It's violent. They get hurt. I mean, for the same reason you could assess John Lynch's year this year based on the guys that got hurt, and the guys they brought into that attract history of injury, and for one year, some of them skated by a D Ford. And then Jason Jarrett. You know, didn't last year. Now you flip it this year, so the media will connect the dots because you go through and you know they'll do that. And I'm sure they're doing that Jacksonville Now we're going through a soul draft history. The bottom line. He was AH, Regional scout in a director of player personnel years before Harbaugh got here and you have to. It was a pretty good roster, wouldn't it? I mean, they were five yards away from the winning the Super Bowl. Had they not switched the quarterback. They may have won the Super Bowl. They may not have gotten their head. They not switch the quarterback. So I think the one that was really the most interesting pick that he made was Alden. But I don't know anybody had him going that high in the draft and his first year with the 40 Niners, something played. In the sub package, and he was AH force right away. So for all the guys that he picked that got hurt, had a history of injury that it's easy to look back on. You also have to look at The scouts I that he had, and he was he was able to build a really strong defensive line and a really strong offensive line where that's for those 40 Niner teams that Harbaugh inherited. Where we're strong on those defensive and offensive lines. That's what they want. By the way you could read where Mike Singletary is interviewing to be the defensive coordinator of the Chicago Bears. Yeah. Tell me he's gonna be smoking crack. Didn't you didn't coach in high school? It was like one in 21. Yeah, I said any season needs to be a coordinator. He mean That's the thing where he's never been important for the guys. At any level? No, no, did he? We didn't go to Baylor. After that. I think you could laugh at that. I thought Coach I thought that's the first thing he should do after he left here was to be a defensive coordinator somewhere. And it's not just samurai Mike in the big eyes and all that. You've got to be able to coach detail football. And, you know Robert Stalin was a tight end in play on defense. But now look at everything he's learned. How to put together a defense and coordinate a defense and call a defense opposite some of the great offensive minds in the league. Uh, I think that's it would be difficult for them not to hire Mike Singletary. But it will be fascinating when they get him in the room and have him try toe articulate his knowledge of details, But you would think being the mike linebacker. One of the greatest defense is the history of football. He would be able to do that. But all the while he was the coach of the 40 Niners, she never demonstrated to me. Maybe he was being cagey. And didn't want to disclose it, but he never demonstrated that he really was. Had the knowledge of detailed defense of football. So if he wants to be a head coach one day and really a head coach and not just play one on TV, the thing he's always had to do was to go to be a defensive coordinator and to do it for the Chicago Bears. How do they say no to him? They if they don't hire him, what's your reason for not hiring Mike Singletary, former head coach to be a DC is he not qualified for that job? I don't know. He just hasn't had any success. I mean, it's like you said as a as a position coach. He has his head coach. He certainly hasn't even the high school level so I don't know, but he was a former great bear. So I guess there's that I don't know, E don't know. I don't know if you meant to be anyway, he was on that. You know, obviously that team that you know, bulky put together in Look at how quickly they flipped it. I you know, I thought when they go six and 10 Singletary's last year Thought they could go 10 and six with horrible. I never thought he'd be able to take that roster and go 13 and three and go all the way to hosting the NFC championship game. But that tells you what. How do you know how important coaching is and I think should be a great move for Mike Singletary. He's got to learn to be a good they could hire him and be the face of it and then have somebody an assistant really kind of run the defense. But if he wants to be a head coach in the NFL, he's gotta learn to, you know, be able to run that side of the ball and do it. Not just is a great Former player but a great football coach. Our little bit of the words coming up next to get a big win, and Steve Kerr said it was their most completed the year. But there was a question that we got out of Ethan Strauss about an hour ago that we haven't gotten back to discuss will do that coming up next. By the way, your guy Greg Knapp is the passing game specialist on Robert Solace staff. Let me know that the well, I guess she was cramming up to cram hold the floors. They go See, He's not the quarterback coach, though he's a great quarterback coach. Passing games specialist. It says here he's gonna be the quarterback coach. I do not know. First I got to figure out who the quarterback is. Before you go to enrich meeting Right now I kind of thought kind of napper would be Could be the quarterback coach. So another guy, which ized to the 40 Niners, right, he's gone and the Raiders and both times it ended poorly for him. All right, It's papa level. Get back to the words next on the SportsCenter. There was a time when he was doing weekly hits on sports radio, where I thought that guy's on a fast track to be in somebody's front office like the Bears front officers. Yeah, but you know, he's like a financial wizard. I guess he wouldn't be interested now. Maybe they're too far removed from the game. But that's what you wanted when you were going through transition after Ditka. That's when you start doing it stopped doing the mom and pop stuff. Then you're like, OK, Dick is out. Thank God. There's probably 25 30 coaches just sitting there staring at him. And you could hear it. The minute he walks through that door, the commanding presence he has and listen to him when he talks about football and what he expects in practice and what he expects from players during the game. Everything he says You see it yourself, man. A if he ran to the bitch ran the Bears. This would be a dream come true and be everything he's saying does not apply to household. "To unpack. The Bears interviewed Mike Singletary yesterday for their vacancy at defensive coordinator after the retirement of Chuck Pagano. And this guy's one of the great players in the history of the sport, let alone our city, and there are people don't know. Hard past don't want him. He's Mike. Forget Singletary. If he wants to talk, you talk to him. Hi, honey. Yeah, You know, we were talking before cap about who are the bears close to the organization. You know Thomas, George McCaskey and Ted Phillips. And that front office who are they close to his father's former bears. We couldn't come up with a name. Of Singletary still has a tight to the Bears have no problem with it. I don't want him to be my defensive coordinator. Necessarily. And here's why, for Mike Singletary's case for his sensibilities, man. Don't come in here just for a year. This might be a lame duck opportunity, right? This might be a lame duck position. If if the If the Bears underachieve there could be changed. That's all. I'm rooting for his change because I think that you could start to see the defense be in transition. You might not have a number one wide receiver coming in next year. So a lot of question marks about the football. Hold on. I want to go back up. You just said All I'm rooting for his change was your quote. Absolutely. So you're not rooting for them. Now that everybody's back to have a good season next year. You're already all in on change. Well, I said that last this past season, right? So why would I change now? So I told you that in October or November, I said, you know, I think it's time for change. Because that was different. You knew there was a possibility It didn't happen. But there was a possibility as we kept losing. No. We watched our bears goal six straight with a loss, right? Might be changed. There was speculation nationally locally. We didn't get it now that we didn't get it. I'm all in to see him win the Super Bowl. I don't think it's gonna happen. No, because we know what's on the field. We got good, too good working eyes and I'm really good TV. We know exactly what bears football looks like. And so no, I'm still in there for change because I can't change my opinion on that. Can't share because I know what it looks like. See, I understand if I just got dropped into Chicago and not understand the culture What goes on around here? If I'm new to the city, like wait their right name the playoffs last year. You know, the arrow's pointing up. That's a much better football team than I thought. Actually, they're not. They backed their way in like a big girl on the dance floor. They backed their way in. So so the idea that I'm going to change my opinion. Is that Zach gonna ask you I'm asking you to do what I've done. It is. I'm going down the highway of I want change. I want change. Yeah, that exit's closed. Okay, boss..

"Contact inside of the 40. Arm wrestles with rip free, but it was won by Diggs, who was down by contact, and they go over the top for the first time today and a big time first half and you wonder if this is the big play. They needed to get this offense going digs. Running right down the scene. He gets nailed by Willis as he catches it. 36 yard grab now going quickly, Alan again rolling to his right. He's pressured, he throws and another leaping grab hovering above the right sideline. Both toast down inbounds for Gabriel Davis all the way to the 20 to gain 15 and they're moving with Temple Boy. We are seeing what makes Alan special right now because again He did not like his first read there. He likes to roll. That was right. He's so good throwing on the move. Nobody was near Gabriel Davis and in two plays, the Bills are already down, right? Knocking on the Colts Red Zone in Indianapolis. 21 Alan out of a gun is back to his writing. Singletary tight ends right, Snapping, my dear, Right has three Nothing. Colts under four minutes. First quarter, Alan takes the snap looking left side checks down. He throws here right, caught by Singletary with space makes a move on his man. Second hitter comes in, and they twirl amount of bouncing around the 17. They get about four. That's one of the things that Allen has improved on the most this year. His patients throwing the ball to the checkdown. You know, he wants to try to throw it to the end zone. He doesn't see anybody open. He just gives it to Singletary. Take what they give you get four yards second and six. Nothing wrong with that. The bills in the Red Zone. They had 68 chances this year.
