The Worst Mayor in Chicago History Is Gone!
"Home Chicago. Yesterday, the first round of voting happened in the Chicago mayor's race and beetlejuice, Lori Lightfoot has been defeated. Now we should enjoy that for just a second. And we should talk about why that is the case. Why is it that Lori Lightfoot was soundly defeated? She finished third place, not even to make the runoff. And first place was Paul valles, who was a Democrat and for years he was considered to be not exactly a moderate Democrat, but by new standards he's actually more moderate than the Marxist Brandon Johnson, who is also going to make the runoff. So it went valis Johnson and lightfoot. Lightfoot has been the mayor of Chicago, the last couple of years, and she is without a doubt the worst mayor in Chicago history. And that says something because there's been some pretty bad leaders in the history of Chicago. And one of the things that frustrates me the most as someone who grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and loved Chicago is that this is not that hard. There are three very basic things. That you have to do as mayor. Just really basic things. Make the streets safe, try to improve your schools every single year and don't borrow money you don't have and have basically have some sort of a vibrant economic plan or model that is implemented. That's it really simple and basically any city is like that. You take New York City, New York City was declining. Rudy Giuliani became mayor and turned that place around. And Bloomberg to his great credit was a moderate mayor and New York was a safe place for years. Now if there are other issues to homeless, homelessness, that plays into clean and safe streets. And it does beg a question, why is it that Democrats are so comfortable running cities that are becoming so enjoyable, so messy? It's because they're ideology actually is more important than the reality. So

"Coming out. Easy in your story, you also write that one of the reasons this has become such a crisis is that people are just living longer when these systems were set up, people tended to be retired only for a short time before the end of their lives and now people's lives have stretched on. Yes, that's right. And that's one of the arguments, I guess, governments make for raising the retirement age there, like, well, you're still going to have the same amount of years in retirement because you're living longer now. So therefore, you should be working longer. It doesn't always wash with the public though, I don't think that that argument because they were expecting to retire to have this pinch of their decision age. And just going back to that question of life expectancy, Wes, which we saw a really extraordinary ramp up. It was getting better and better. Every single year. I mean, what is true is that rate of acceleration has slowed. The expansion of public healthcare systems and the amazing advances in medical technology have helped make us live longer with a lot of things. But now we are getting into a lot of issues around things like chronic disease. If you have cancer 50 years ago, you would probably brutally die relatively quickly. Now modern medicine can help expand your lifespan. But is it expanding your lifespan in a way that you can actually meaningfully work? This is where we're starting to get to the pointy end of what life expectancy actually means. And this concept of healthily I expectancy. How long are you going to live without major diseases, major illness, whether it's diabetes, whether it's cancer, whether it's obesity, there are a lot of chronic diseases now that make people's ability to work later, hard, even if they are living later. We'll be right back. Can catch us live, your favorite Bloomberg

Disney, Activist Investor Peltz Gird for Fight Over Board Seat
"Before you go, I do also want to mention that Disney is back in the hot seat here. This has been a very interesting stock to watch and it's been sad for me to watch because I loved Disney growing up. We used to have like an annual pilgrimage to Disney every single year. That was what our family did for vacation and they were great vacations and of course, you know, Disney has had all kinds of problems in part because of the very treacherous environment that we live in right now in terms of the culture police and the wokeness that surrounding that surrounding the country. And so this makes it extremely difficult for a company like Disney. I had suggested that having bob Iger back was helpful because maybe he could he's pretty woke himself, but maybe he could stand up to this or at least lead the company through this in a better, more productive way. Well, Nelson peltz. Who runs trian fund management. He's now involved, and he's not exactly what you would call a liberal. He also is a capitalist, so he wants to see this company succeed because he's taken a stake in it, you see. Anyway, he wants his launched a proxy fight. He wants a seat on Disney's board, and this is just one more headache of course for the CEO, bob Iger, Disney director Mark Parker, would become the chairman. And the stock, it actually climbed on the news today. We saw on Thursday, it traded up roughly about 4% because people are one excited that bob Iger is back, but even more excited to have an activist like peltz in there because he's really committed to speaking about commitment. He's committed to try and change things. He's launched campaign called restore the magic. That would be great, right? Just restore the magic in Disney. As I said, it was a great company. And we all wanted to continue being a great company. It's an American icon, but it's lost its way. So maybe somebody, a capitalist, a conservative with a little common sense, can help lead it back from the brink

How Important Is Censorship to This Regime?
"How important is censorship to this regime? And it's not just important, it's the whole ball game. If you can not shut up certain ideas or perspectives, I don't know how much longer these people will hold on to power. I really don't. Because so many of the mass movements in our country, the last couple of years have been built on extraordinary lies, not little lies, but extraordinarily that America is somehow systemically racist. Are you kidding me? We're the least racist country ever to exist in the history of the world. That somehow police are going around and gunning down unarmed black men in the street on a regular basis. I mean, on our black men in the street on a regular basis, I mean, polled Democrats think that over 1500 unarmed black men are gunned down by police every single year. It's actually 11. Why would they think that? Because all built on a lie. It's not true. It's just not. We're the most decent benevolent generous country ever to exist in the history of the world. And we should own that.

Of people happy and it's almost impossible to note, although I have strong happiness radar after traveling somewhere outside of the United States every single year. Since I was 18 years old, or 19 years old, except for 2020 when it was not simply not possible. Even 2021, I went to Hungary. And of course I just went to Denmark. And it's I have a certain assessment of how I judge whether people are happy, a few assessments. They're not easily described, they're often sensed more than describable, but that doesn't help you any. So I'll give you some descriptions.

Should the Strong Be Able to Crush the Weak?
"Is the question in a lot of different ways coming on Tuesday. Do we think that the strong should be able to crush the weak at a whim? No, we as Christians think that if you have strength, you should be able to use your strength to then protect the weak. In fact, we are morally commanded to do that to care for the least of these. And the people that can't defend themselves are the 1 million human beings that get massacred in the womb every single year in America. It is a question of the church of whether we care about that or not. And so I'll go through the list again. The church is essential and will never be labeled non-essential by the government again. God created men and women and life begins at conception. When I say this Tuesday, we must vote biblically. Those three things, I think you could choose very wisely amongst those three things very, very clearly.

Charlie Describes How He Gave His Life to the Lord
"Won't begin on like, tell this group how you came to face. Yeah, it was the most important decision I ever made in my life. And if there's anyone here that hasn't yet given your life to the lord, hopefully my story will have some impact on you. I gave my life to the lord in 5th grade, and it was the most critical decision I made, and when I made it, I remember I somewhat understood it, but every single year, my goodness, as I got older, 6, 7th 8th grade high school. And now where I am today, it just grows in depth and understanding of what grace is and how, you know, how much God loves us and how we're made in his image. And so in 5th grade, I remember my teacher kind of explained the differences of worldview, explain the need for every single person to reconcile with their creator through Jesus Christ. And I gave my life to the lord. And since then, I have, you know, let's just say since 5th grade, obviously went through high school and then I started turning point USA and that's grown to be this amazing movement that it is today. And I could tell you, you know, for everyone out there that might be challenging and wrestling, you know, what you believe and why you believe it. It changes everything you do. And you're boring new, literally, when you give your life to the lord.

You Can Judge a Society Based on What People With Strength Do
"Judge a society based on what people with strength do or do not do to protect those of people you could call them weak, but that sounds insulting. People that are not as strong. People that are not as big, people are not as powerful, because a nation that says it doesn't matter if we abort a million lives every single year. Why on earth would they then care about a teenager that has to do something that makes them uncomfortable? It's the same sort of moral slide. That allows that to happen. But we're going to address that head on tonight. And I could say collectively, we're not going to put up with it here in Scottsdale. We're not going to put up with it here in the state of Arizona. We're not going to allow our children to be taken advantage of. It's not going to happen.

Brandon Tatum on Why Race Isn't a Big Convo Heading Into the Midterms
"You find it interesting about how out of all the national conversations right now, race is not a primary conversation heading into the midterms. What are we supposed to make of that? Well, I think that, you know, we got to look at the midterms as a political strategy on both sides, right? I don't think that a lot of these politicians are genuine in their approach. I don't think they really have a vested interest in fixing any issues. What they want to do is promote an issue that gets people riled up to get their emotions running, get them in a level of or in a position of fear, and then they can run a campaign on that. And if you look at the Democrat party in the black community, the reason why they've been having a black community in a stronghold or in a chokehold I'd say is because all they do is pitch promises every single year. We promise to do this. We promise to do this, look, the scary white man is out here ready to get you. We're going to protect you this year. Well, we didn't protect you last year. We're going to protect you this year. It's the Republicans fall. I mean, they just continue to push a narrative for political expediency and they're not addressing any of the real issues because if Democrats really cared about the black community, they will be addressing crime in the inner city. They will be addressing the police department and not in a way in which they're expressing that they need to revise and rethink policing. They would be saying that we're going to fund police. We're going to get them better training. We're going to get more minorities involved in policing so they can patrol their communities that they're familiar with. But that's not the approach. Charlie, they're just out for getting votes and promise you something that they can have leverage on for the next a hundred years.

Are Republicans Trying to Help Cause a Blue Wave?
"Dark Brandon strikes again. Yes. All right, I think he is also going to send an arrangement of penis flowers to Lindsey Graham for his national abortion baby, which blows everything Republican. Also, I think he should send some flowers to Rick Scott, who has basically said Republicans want to blow up social security and Medicare. Yes. The guy in charge of elected Republicans in the Senate, Rick Scott of Florida, proposed a plan. I wish I had enough copies to hand, but go online and look at it. I really mean this is serious because they're going to make it hard for you to believe. Proposed a plan requiring Congress to vote on the future of social reauthorization. And I want to remind you, you paid for your social security. Every single paycheck from the time you're a kid, you paid for it. So every 5 years, concrete gets to vote, change, cut, reducer, a limited entirety of social security. Also, we mentioned Ron Johnson, liberal helper. Here we go. Senator Ron Johnson from Wisconsin. As my mother would say, God love him. He thinks 5 years is too long to wait. He wants to put the vote social security Medicare on the chopping block. Every single year. Let me remind you all again, you paid for social security. You paid for Medicare. It's taken out of every single one of your paychecks. These guys never give up. Well, guess what? We're not going to give up either. Okay. All right. Mark Brandon. Doc Brandon. Carlos, what's going on? Is there a think tank over there on how they can help Democrats with a blue suit? A national ban on abortion. Right. There used to be a little devil now. It's just like, no more. Take away the social security to it. Do it now. Wow. That's like a good idea. Yeah. Right. I feel like they're being the biggest liberal helpers ever. And it's magical. And they're just fighting amongst themselves, right? Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham and Roger Stone hates Wendy Graham and it's fantastic. Big mega rats fight fight fight. Equally awful, yes. Okay, we were talking about, oh, Trump just posted a meme with the queue was like right on his lapel. So QAnon's all going crazy, 'cause now they've gotten the official stamp of approval from captain crazy. Could I have my conspiracy music please? Oh, but Stephanie both parties are the same. Okay, what is it that the queen is laying in state now? Her funeral is Monday. Yes, she's a Westminster. She is still dead. That remains. She's not a Trump's golf course. I got confused with the name. No, no. Westminster. She's really emotional. She will not be buried in any of Trump's golf courses. As far as we know. This has got some documents to hide. Right. Maybe he's stuffed him in her crown last time. So I don't know. Okay. I don't QAnon. I don't, okay. PolitiFact has dismissed a conspiracy theory that the royal family are part of a line of reptiles. Okay, PolitiFact has had to debunk Queen Elizabeth did not die before September 8th and her death was part of a dark conspiracy involving pedophilia or child trafficking something. Prince was not sacrificed in 2016 when he died on the queen's 90th birthday that year and that he had been put to death as a birthday gift. Like prince, as in. Yes, for instance. As in. Let's go crazy. Right. Yes, was not like Prince Andrew. Look to death as a birthday gift to Queen Elizabeth on her 90th birthday. Why? Why? I want him killed. He's not, he's just named princess. He's not in the royal prince. He's not real. He's not in the line of secession. You've killed the wrong prince. This is the only purple rain. That's not who I meant. I meant OJ, perhaps I've said too much. But his name is prince. And he is fine. Yeah, I don't. Okay. Queen Elizabeth also did not die from the COVID vaccine. Nope. And she was not shot and killed in Detroit. Wait, what? That was Detroit? I'm going to. I won't be needing security. She was going to Paisley park to see prince. That's when Minneapolis. That's in Minneapolis. It's not Detroit. He's on her way. My ticket to Detroit. Now I'm in the wrong area. I have connection. You have to do a layover. Prince is grave, who was killed at for my birthday. Now I've been Detroit. Who booked me to Motown? She missed her connection. Oh, I've been shot. I'm going to see if they have a pedophilia pizza parlor Detroit. I don't help me help mummy. What, why? Do people I don't know. We've always conspiracy theorists, but this is the problem. The former president of the United States just basically put his stamp of approval on this whole crazy cult. TPC Southwind Is a Sneaky Water Ball Course
"Is this week is pretty good. I like TPC south wing, pretty nails course there. It's tough. It seems like they're going a lot lower this year than in years past. I remember always around even par was the cut, maybe one under. And you don't realize that dude, it's a sneaky water ball course. I think it has more water balls than any course on any course on tour every single year. You always say it's like TPC sawgrass or whatever, but when you think about it, this place has got water all over all over the place. Especially on the back 9, you have like 11, 11, 12, 14, 18, couple catastrophic holes there. So on TV, like, I don't know. It's not as fun for probably the viewers as some of those other courses and not as recognizable, but it's a good test, dude. I only played that event once, and I played decent. I think I made the cut. Actually, I think that was the year you probably Monday. That was 2012. It was the same.

"Who's ready to get audited? I'm gonna get blunt to the point. Straight into the point and be blunt. It's likely you are going to be audited sometime soon. Senator Kristen sinema has decided to join Joe Manchin in what they call the inflation reduction act, which is anything but the inflation reduction act, but Democrats are getting even sneakier in how they are branding what actually increases inflation to hurt inflation, but they're doing it for marketing purposes. The inflation reduction act of 2022 appears to have a good shot of being signed into law. One of the things it does is it expands the internal revenue services, power, authority, and expands their staff. The inflation reduction act hires 80 7 thousand new IRS agents. 80 7 thousand new IRS agents. Currently, there's about 600,000 audits that are done every single year. 600,000 audits. The IRS says they'll now be able to perform 1.2 million audits in the next couple of years, doubling the amount of annual audits that are done. Doubling.

Kneepads on for Phil
"You brought up Phil and I'm glad to get because I saw a stat today because the PGA Tour just released their 2023 season. All their events are 44 events. They've gone up to $425 million next year, the price money, okay? Yeah. That is 20 million more than the live next year. The live has 14 events, 405 million. Do you think that every single professional golfer in the entire world that's on a major tour should have their knee pads out for Phil Mickelson sending them $10,000 bottles of wine, whatever the hell he wants it. Yeah, I mean, Mickelson and, I mean, the two, two controversial. Some people would call it a controversial last year, but really Nicholson and Norman, because I mean, the tour, the tour, that tour never happens without Norman, Norman's kind of vendetta with the PGA Tour, right? He tried to hook. He tried to do a similar thing years ago in the PJ tour came up with the wgc to squash it. And then Phil kind of talking about it. And I mean, you can say TV contract, you can say whatever, but purses go up every single year, they don't go up this much though. Like not even close. So I think without a doubt, the better guys, the best guys they know, they know why the purses are going up. They're not idiots. Every single person with a brain knows why purses have gone up on the PGA Tour, but the better guys should really go knee pad nation because they're going to get all these no cut events too, that are basically live events. There are many live events built into the PGA Tour.

Joe Biden Fudges the Facts on Spending
"Cut number three of Joe Biden yesterday. We're making buy American a reality, not just a slogan. I wore no contracts. From the federal government was like a proof they bought it in America. And by the way, the Republicans like to portray me in some kind of big spender. We have spent a lot of money. Let's compare the facts. Under my predecessor, the deficit exploded. Raising rising every single year. And all of the benefit going to the top 1% basically. Under my plan, last year, we cut the deficit by three. There it is. There's the whisper. Now, in fact, everyone knows that under COVID deficits went up as we had to spray the city the country down with money. And that was fine in 2020. 2021, we did not need to spend $4 trillion because we had reopened except for a few blue cities.

Pres. Trump: We Must Safely Bear Arms Due to the Existence of Evil
"And it's the presence of evil as president Trump put it during his speech Friday in Houston, it's the existence of evil that should allow people law abiding citizens to keep and bear arms. But the existence of evil in our world is not a reason to disarm law abiding citizens who know how to use their weapon and can protect a lot of people. The existence of evil is one of the very best reasons to arm law abiding citizens. And that is why one of the core missions of the NRA is to train prepare and equip responsible American men and women with the knowledge and tools they need to defend themselves. Their families and their communities have to defend their communities and their families. Every single year the NRA's 125,000 certified instructors, these are highly trained, very, very capable people. But regardless of your opinions on this on abortion, I'm sure some of you are pro choice and our audience had a lot of you, but okay, that's an opinion out there. This does not outlaw abortion. The simply brings it back to the states. And so, but yet it's such an important part of the Democrat political machine that they have to be able to terminate children in the womb that they found themselves to upend the entire history of the United States Supreme Court leaking this document and trying to create mass protests and media backlash. Look, it's not too far to say, in fact, it's not, it's not on shaky footing to say that the United States Supreme Court is now going to be threatened by activists and media members. She couldn't figure out where all this or these taxes and wire taxes kept going up every year. Chicken. She didn't wasn't spinning any new things. She wasn't gonna exotics should not working anymore. But most people think that tax last when they're not working, right, so little long story, short sand. We ran the arm, Do you report And found out that it was indeed the required minimum distribution. She started when she was 70 that was causing her taxes to go up every single year. She's republican And she's a republican who she believes in liberty and she believes in small government and that's why she's opposed to bands like s because really bands. Like this are big government. I mean that is the government. Come between you and your doctor or come between you and your kids school and telling them what they're supposed to do. Instead of the doctor the school being able to make their own decisions so for her and for a lot of fellow republicans. It's a small government issue But even beyond that. It's also just a human issue. When i came out she was surprised A lot like a lot of parents. She had a lot of questions. She didn't really know what to think at first and then she said you know what my kid is my kid that doesn't change. Just because of someone's gender i mean family is family and i think as more and more of us come out as transgender. More more families are having that reaction so there's likely to be. I think there were already been lawsuits. Filed against the trans bill. Here in florida against some of these other pieces of legislation that have been filed around the country. What do you think the the legal fight going forward against these bills is gonna look like it's absolutely going to be widespread at. There's going to be a challenges to all of these attacks against transgender people and especially transgender youth of any stripe whether it's about sports or whether it's about healthcare And i think it's it's a matter of time until these things are Eventually struck down whether because of the courts Or whether because of the court of public opinion we are seeing more acceptance of transgender people every single year and that has been the pattern for a long time now so it is a we are winning more and more folks are realizing that being transgender is part of everyday life. I'll be your I'll be your stress eating partner. Sure, all right now I wanted to talk to you, in part because we got a couple of cool things coming up. The first is and this is a good opportunity to talk about for the treasure hunt as well. But we're having tomorrow at the Miami Airport Marriott, the first unclaimed property auction since the onset of the pandemic now Jimmy. He'll tell us what happens with this unclaimed merchandise and what these auctions are about. It's really pretty amazing. This is just our fiscal responsibility back to the citizens of the state, but safety deposit box get forgot about neglected. Maybe somebody passes away. That safety deposit box. Once the fees are not paid. The bank has to then turn it over to the state of Florida. We sit on it for a while trying to help locate the people, then We have a limited space amount in our vault. I thought we had to expand the size of the vault because we were able to make these items available for auction. So the great thing about it is. You know if you had something that you left him one of these vaults When the safety deposit boxes and we sell it. Whatever it sold for you come to us, you know, prove that it was yours. And we will write you the check. But whatever the auction paid for no fees. No No strings attached. Wow, That really is terrific. Now, is it? It's just face. They were went out space, so we gotta sell it. Specific to the auction itself. For people who want to participate. The Miami airport Marriott tomorrow. What is that process like? No, I mean it's It's definitely worth going just to go. Look, you know if you want to go and just kind of see what type of the magnitude of merchandise the state ends up handling every single year just going. Look whether it be You'll cause we might like one of the injury of like a three carat diamond ring that will have for sale will have all types of rare baseball cards. I mean, it's kind of, you know, kind of crazy. What people leaving their safe deposit box, But think about it. They put it there because they wanted safe. S o. I mean, it is really some of the most extraordinary riches you could ever imagine. But they're the people's tax dollars the people's money and we're gonna watch him and protect him. Just like it was their tax dollars. You know, speaking to our CFO Jimmy Petronius, and we talked about this. It's a good reminder F l a treasure hunt, dud Gove. You don't have to have items that go unclaimed if you go there and you actually see and it takes less than 30 seconds. We've proven that on Eric can be done that easily. Jimmy, how many people have any Floridians have Merchandise that's unclaimed. Still with 40 treasure hunt. So one in five Our treasure vault, whether that be a security deposit from a power company or maybe uncashed paychecks. I was talking to a friend. Yesterday was actually one of my employees mothers. She saw our plug. Or unclaimed property auction. She went check. She had a $30 deposit that she she got the client so You'd be shocked. My my system. "The cost of living is increasing every single year, and people are voting a vote of no confidence in my leadership with their feet by moving out of state, and the natives are restless. How does he interpret that? Well, I would hope he'd be reflecting in the mirror and saying I caused most of this, as did my predecessors. I've caused some of this. Listen, there's a formula that works in America and that means you have to keep both sides happy. You have to hopefully help the poor and the disenfranchised, But you also have toe mobilize the wealthy and get them to book Want to participate. You know, New York for the longest time had incredible economic development platforms for wealthy people and with some of the tax policies of the federal government, they stayed largely in Manhattan, because that's where There there Wa So you know what Gavin's inherited to some degree is not necessarily all his fault. People are realizing they could be entrepreneurs anywhere. They do not have to be in the capitalists City of New York. They don't have to be in silicone valley. They don't have to be down on lawyer because of the scripts research. They can now work out of Austin, Texas. Hell, I must prove that they said, Listen you you don't want me to hold my factory. Fine. I will open it, but I'll open it in another state. Little things like that cause business people to flee. So what you end up with is more takers than givers. I always say there has to be a balance. I don't mind social fabric and social programs to help those less fortunate, But you also have to have a complimentary syriza of givers, people that are giving up their wealth. Through virtual taxation, too charitable donations to keep a society moving forward. But what Gavin's having to look at the mirror is the people that pay the bills are fleeing, and the people that are staying behind are the ones demanding more resource is And I can't tax anybody anymore. I've already done the full Monty with every virtual tax I could create. I've done whether it's gas tax. I mean, when, when gas taxes to 97 in Florida, oftentimes are looking this $4.10 in California do the fuel taxes due to cost a living do the cost of transportation? So at some point, a guy like Gavin Newsom is not on. Lee destroyed any chance he had of building a brighter California. But he faces a dwindling number of people contributing to the economic good of all society. And we're seeing that New York. Listen if the census were two years ago, During the time of what I'll call the flight from Cove in if we were actually tracking the census in real time from March of 2020 till now. Believe Florida would again 23 seats. Unfortunately, we didn't count everybody and I think in California, losing one see, it's really not bad, considering I believe they've under counted the number of people that have actually left they probably should have lost 3 to 5. These people are going to Nevada. They're going to Arizona. They're going to New Mexico. They're going anywhere else but California and we're getting them. Even in Florida. I've seen Dozens of California plates For the first time in my life, I've seen dozens of California plates in different locations throughout Palm Beach County. Now who drives California in the car, That means they moved there. That doesn't mean they're just visiting as you would never drive 3000 miles with the use of air travel. So you know if I'm seeing 12 to 13 to 15 cars and an average day of California license plate, they've given up the ghost. They've left Gavin Newsom with the bills and left him with the gun out of business side. Well, if you say that every state is a balance between givers and takers, I feel like a play that would be written about California over the last several years would be giving tell it hurts now. Last question before you go because it was just announced as our segment started, Apparently Caitlyn Jenner, who now says that she's gonna be running for governor of California. We'll give her first television interview. It's going to be with Sean Hannity on Fox News on May the fifth. What advice would you give Caitlin? Yeah, we'll probably have to go on John an itty. Sorry. Honest to God. What is this? Circus of the bizarre. I mean, I don't know if that would be my first inclination to go on shots show because I think he's going to make a joke out of her. I mean, I know he's not predisposed to transgender. I just don't think that's the right interviews. So if I were guiding her, I would say that's not the show. That's clearly not the show. If you want to go on the five if you want to go toe any other venue on and I wouldn't even suggest that go to Tucker. Um I just don't think that's the right venue. Um, s so good luck to Caitlin's. I mean, it is unique, everyone said when, uh, who was the guy that the impeach Last timer throughout it Run off Gray Davis. Gray Davis lost and then Arnold Schwarznegger became, but Arnold Schwarzenegger had a profile that was somewhat different than Caitlyn Jenner. I'm not saying Caitlyn Jenner's incapable of getting elected governor. I think most people of celebrity they love the conditions even if the Kardashians don't support Caitlin. I still think there's enough buzz in California that make this seem like a plausible way to the governor's mansion. But I don't think I would have let her pick. Sean Hannity is my opening salvo in my bid for governor of the Great State of California. Well, we'll all be drinking margaritas on Cinco de mayo, eating chips and salsa and watching Kate lit on with Hannity. Congressman Mark Foley. Thanks so much for stopping by Always a pleasure. "I don't think it suits Lamar Lamar strength to try toe throw from behind in history and thus far is his early career doesn't really support that. But that zah scary team again is a tent City Chiefs fan. That's the team that scares you the most every single year. Just because of that offensive style of play, But I'm in agreeance with you as well. I think the bills air are the team gunning for the Chiefs. That's not why I called in again. I'm a Kansas City transplant in Chicago. So I hear a lot of, you know, bears talking regular basis and kind of keep with theme of Davos, Sweeney. One keeping a real goes wrong, So let's say you're the GM for the Bears on your next move, you know, could be keeping a real or keeping real goes wrong. Do you lock up for a risky for a franchise tag and pay him with the upper echelon quarterback? Knowing that he is not necessarily shown that ability, rent them for a year and see what you can do or do you cut him loose? Go with Nick Foles because they haven't for another year draft of the quarterback and start the whole process again. I'll just not here, man. Have a good night. Yeah, Buffalo of Chicago. Sorry. It has interesting situation on you know, given that they looked like a team that was they started the season well, and then they looked like a team that was bound for disappointment. And and since then they've righted the ship. To a certain extent, eight and seven right now are are the bears and that that's an interesting dilemma. I've been asked about Mitchell too risky. A bunch over the last couple years, and I never quite know the answer, because I think clearly he's probably not the guy right, like at this point that would have shown itself. And I know he's still relatively young in his career, but we're talking his fourth season now. Talking his fourth season, Um and and because of where he was drafted, Hui has drafted ahead of the expectations are maybe at times going to make it look like he's worse than he is because he didn't meet the expectations. And he's played. Okay. This year he's played relatively well. This season. I ultimately think you know, the the future quarterback of the Bears is probably someone else. But I don't hate the idea that you just suggested of, you know, because Look, what's the problem? When you sign these big court of these quarterbacks to these big deals, they eat up your whole salary cap and you can't make the other moves And, you know, it's one of the reasons the Eagles are in a tough spot with Carson Wentz right now because they signed into that deal if he wasn't on that deal I don't think there would have been a zoo much time that it took to to make the switch. T Jalen hurts, And there'd be less worried about what they do with him going forward. Um so obviously you can't sign Mitch Travis Key to some sort of deal like that. He's not worthy of that kind of deal. Um and and that's that's not on the table. But the idea of one year on a above market value contract. I don't hate it. I think you have to see how the rest of the season plays out first, though. Because it is the other option too much worse, you know, fulls eventually going to draft a quarterback unless somebody you know, Unless Dak Prescott becomes a veil. I don't have to look at the Bears cap situation. All that Unless you know there's a situation like that that arises. I think you have to see how this season plays out. See how true risky place if he plays well the rest of the year. I mean, not that there's much e se the rest of the year like there's Ah, bunch left for the Bears. But the Bears are still in, um Live situation at the moment when it comes to the remainder of the season. And their playoff hopes are are not totally out the window. What? I'm gonna see what their playoff scenarios Our, um I know that they you know, said that. I guess I should stop saying sea year. That would be just one more game. I suppose that's ah. That's the kind of thing that that shows you that I don't um Totally have it, have it. Down. I don't totally know the answer there. I mean, is there a team friendly contract? You could sign too risky to I think at this point, and I love Nick Foles and what he's accomplished with the Eagles, but Your potential is better with your risky So I think if you're the Bears, you could consider franchise tag for one year or you could consider, um, you know, Some charter team friendly deal that that doesn't pay him at the upper echelon of quarterbacks as you evaluate the position going forward, But do you just cut bait? I would Go against that at this moment. I think I'd go against just purely cutting bait. Let's go to Ah, Brady and Windsor, Ontario. Brady. You're up next here on CBS Sports Radio. Yes, thank you. Happy, Happy New Year, Robin Wells Fargo's Berlin's concerned their pleasure in school florins in the Southern states will maybe they should have stayed the HCC, but I think Justin Seals redeemed himself. After those two bad games that because he's shown a lot of heart last night, coming back from that from that injury to his hips, and I guess his kidneys and during those six touchdown passes so I think he might have gotten himself back. And the you know is one of the two or three top quarterbacks, you know, after Ah, Trevor Laurence and another thing, eh? Yes. Brian Flory to me is the NFL coach of the year because remember last year They sped off. Almost historically bad in a lot of people thought they'd go on 16, and he began to right the ship, and then the way Florence has handled the Fitzpatrick versus tunnel below a cornerback situation. Now you have to give a lot of credit to those two players because Like they shown themselves to be totally team First players toe Sisley Fitzpatrick the handle this situation because, ah lot of times it would have caused the locker room rift. But Florence gets a lot of credit for being able to Handle this and get these players to see that the death situation now this is eventuate itself is, you know best panels in the waist being handled by, um Either. Ah, a ton of lore. Fitzpatrick, depending on who's playing better playing, and I want to know. Where do you think Dwayne Haskins next team might be after you know, the football team jettison them earlier this week and taken off the air And thanks for putting me on Robin Well, look, Haskins is a reclamation project. You have to hope that, uh Dwayne Haskins. Um, you know, learns from this because clearly is on the field play and is off the field behavior..
