I've only been studying jiu-jitsu three months and whatnot. Good, good for you. But you went through a 80 hour school, where's the rest and control structure? Yet there's numerous black wealth some people that train on the department and really not one of those people work the arrest and control unit. You know what I mean? And you know, sometimes it can be a buddy system or who you know, you got to get the right people in there, teaching officers how to stay alive. Yeah, I mean, and now with the popularity of jiu-jitsu, when you and I started nobody knew what it was, but now with the popularity, there's a lot of incredibly talented guys. I mean, our school is 75% law enforcement guy. So incredible. Safety people. So we have cops and firemen from various locations in departments and whatnot. Dennis and Caller Dean Discuss the Nuances of 'All' and 'Hate'
"Okay, Simi Valley, California, dean, hello dean. Hey, Dennis, how are you? I'm really well. Thank you. Thank you. I am a big supporter. You and I are often like minded, and I just wanted to hopefully share something to help you. So that your distractors don't give you grief. A couple of segments ago you talked about whenever you use the word all, it means you're a hater and I often hear you say all leftists do this and all left us do that and I didn't want them to have that ammunition. Oh, they can have it. I hate all of this. If you're the leftist is an idea. I hate all Nazis. I hate all communists. I hate old fascists. The left remember, I always make a distinction between left and liberal. I mean, if you believe that the United States is systemically racist, if you believe that it is a good thing that we remove religion from American life like they just did in England with the London school of economics, they no longer have a Christmas break or an Easter break. And et cetera, if you think that. It is a good thing to have girls healthy breast cut off when they're 18 years of age, if they say they're a boy, I really hate you. I admit it. Tell me a leftist position that makes you unworthy of being hated, as opposed to a liberal position. I don't hate all liberals. A lot of liberals are wonderful people they're naive, and that's inexcusable in an adult, but I don't hate them. So hating an idea is not the same as hating a race or an ethnicity or a nationality. I'm with you. You know what, I stand corrected. I actually think I would be appreciating labeled a hater if what I hate is left this concept. Yes. If you hate evil, you're a good man.

And anyone who says it's a threat, it's not a threat. It was an attempt at assassination. I'm glad the Marshals were there. The man then retreated, figured out he'd been spotted. My view called the cops because he'd get off better if he said he was suicidal. He went there to kill justice Kavanaugh. That's a threat to the justice or threat to his wife a threat to his children a threat to the neighbors and to law enforcement, and saint threat exists against all 9 members of the Supreme Court because of the leak. The Charlie Kirk Show
The BEST Pro-Life Arguments Around With Seth Gruber
"There is this kind of raging debate around abortion in our country. It shouldn't be much of a debate. And let's just kind of start at the basics, which is for a listener right now who might be agnostic on it without knowledge or just kind of people can make whatever decision as they see fit. What's wrong with that perspective? Why should a listener the Charlie Kirk show care about life? Yeah. Amen. I gave a talk to a Republican women's group recently in Simi Valley about why conservatives actually have to be pro life if you want to call yourself a conservative. And our founders said we hold these truths to be self evident, right? The translation for that for gen zers is duh. You know, we hold these truths to be done. This is obvious. It's axiomatic that we're endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights. And of course, he put the right to life first. And Reagan talked about this at length in his book abortion and the conscience of a nation. Reagan, former governor of California used to be pro choice. And actually had some blood on his hands because of some bad bills. Yeah, he did. And doctor Mildred Jefferson, the first black woman to graduate from Harvard Medical School who started the national right to life committee. Once gave a defense of the pro life position, so persuasively on TV, Reagan watched it, wrote her a letter and said that he had become pro life because of her presentation. And he wrote his book abortion and the conscience of a nation. And he makes his point, I think, to your question about why life is the most fundamental right and why we as conservatives need to get that right right. He says that Abraham Lincoln recognized that we could not survive as a free country, as long as some men could decide that others are not fit to be free. And should therefore be slaves. Likewise, we can not survive as a free land today, as long as some men can decide that others are not fit to live. And should therefore be abandoned to abortion and infanticide. So there is no cause more important than affirming than the transcendent right to life of all human beings. The right without which no other rights have any

"So let's talk first about censorship. So Dennis and prager you did a great job. They're Google lawsuit. They were way ahead of the curve by the way. They tried to warn everyone that Google was going to shut everyone up. And people took them seriously, but not enough people, and then next thing you know, Donald Trump gets kicked off YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, all in one day, and it's kind of, I told you so, right, Dennis, it was one of those things. And we kind of have a separate government that exists in our country, one that we elect and one that is technocratic and one that is headquartered in Silicon Valley and in Menlo Park. So I could get into that form of censorship. I could also talk about the former censorship that exists on college campuses, whether it be the administration or antifa, and all that. But the type of censorship that I think is actually most helpful to talk about is one that every single person in this room participated, which is when we shut ourselves up. Self censorship has become the biggest form and most powerful form of censorship. Now, it's not only we don't shut ourselves up because we always want to, it's largely because we're afraid of the price or the cost associated with speaking up. And a great example of this is when people say Charlie, what can I do? And I asked them, I say, at work or with your Friends, are you allowed to express your political or religious or moral beliefs? And a vast majority of the people that listen to my show say no. I say, well, then you are not free. I said, let's just start there. You know, instead of you running for governor or whatever, what you're all great things and say, why don't you next time at your lunch break, tell the people around you how you view the world like Charlie, I can't do that. I mean, I'll lose my job, I'll be ridiculed. I'll be marked. I'll be smeared. So, of course you will be. So why won't you do it? And that's really the issue, isn't it? And this has been one of the genius moves to the left is that they are able to hold hostage our decadence to use a great word. Our lifestyle our luxury over us. We have a great life here in America and conservatives know they have a great life. And it's actually this very interesting thing. It's this inverse relationship, and I love Dennis thoughts on this. Because conservatives are more thankful to be an American and thankful for what they have. I think we're also more afraid to lose

"Go do one more. Well, that's by myself or with my team. The importance of that. I think they one O one was more important than the previous 14,000 miles. I was basically just getting beaten to crap every day. I mean, why keep doing it? Strategy, well, exactly. I mean, there's that side that there's that suffering side that just kept showing up. Oh, you know, I could suffer more than the next person. And that was a pleasurable part of yourself narrative, where you're like, I value in myself, my ability to suffer more than the next person? I just knew that I love cycling and it was going to take suffering. I had learned that much. And so I was going to have to get good at suffering. Curiosity, why do you love something that forces you to endure so much suffering? Well, there's obviously many, many more aspects of it than the suffering part. You know, that's just N aspect of it. I was madly in love with learning something completely new. You know, I had never been good at any of it. It was kind of cool finding out that there might be just this little bit of a hidden talent in something that I had absolutely no idea existed. Like I said, I loved it. I loved the freedom of just writing the vibe. I mean, that just felt so good. And then I started doing group rides. Which is just, you know, a bunch of dudes 'cause again, it was mostly dudes. You know, just kind of getting together on a weekend morning and it's basically a race. And I started doing those and I was getting dropped from the first, let's say, ten miles and then the next week I would go and I'd get dropped at my 11. And these are like 80 mile rides. So bad one time that we were in Simi Valley. I didn't know where I was and I had to take a cab back to where my car was 'cause I was so lost and dropped and there was no cell phones and, you know, so but I think that that it's like the curiosity of that kept me in there. Like, could I next time maybe stay in 15 miles? And by that point I had gotten a coach who was very encouraging, and you know, there's definitely people along the route that kept me believing. If it was just up to me, I don't know if I would have believed it all the way to the Olympics. Necessarily, but it was like there was just enough every time. But it was never like I never sat back. I'm going to write the ten year 15 year strategy plan to make it to the Olympic Games. There was definitely definitely none of that. It was just, I always feel like it was just okay, here's the road and choose the harder, the harder turn. This is a little bit easier if you keep going this way. Choose kind of the challenging one a little bit harder one. Tell me more about that. Why do that? Because I think it made me better. Going on these group rides were like, I had no business on them at all in the beginning. And so every time I would do it, it was hard every time and I knew if I pushed myself just a little bit more or I went just a little bit harder. I would get just a little bit better. So it taught me that if I take the hard road instead of the easy road forward, then I'm gonna learn more, I'm gonna be better trained. I'm gonna be better set up for maybe eventual success. But at that point, I was just thinking about success meeting like finishing the group ride, not success like going to the Olympics. Just like, that is what is going to be able to get me there. I guess faster. And do you enjoy competition? Is that a part of your identity or your makeup? I'm very competitive with myself. I've never been extremely competitive with others. And that was, that was kind of a problem. Like it was a little bit, I mean, I don't know. It's maybe a blessing and a curse, you know, because I had some teammates that were highly competitive with other people and the problem with that is is you don't have any control over the other people. I think at the, you know, I think at the base of it, one of the biggest issues with our society and the lack of productivity with some is an extreme fear of being uncomfortable. No one wants to be uncomfortable. Every single company out there that's marketing anything to us, right? From pharmaceuticals to food to whatever it is. It's about us being comfortable, right? And just feeling pretty good or sort of good or kind of good. It's never about being uncomfortable. And so I knew that being uncomfortable was going to be the it's always the key to change. Not just in cycling. I mean, at every single time, it is the key that unlocks change is being uncomfortable. So I knew that if I could push just a little bit more, I would get a little bit better. And some days I was able to go into a dark ish cave and some days I was able to go into pitch blackness. It depended on the day, but I knew that there was no way to getting better unless I got pretty damn uncomfortable almost every single time. So I just knew that to be the case. And like I said before, I think the ability to push really hard past the initial you're in pain, you're in pain. What are you doing, stop right now?.

"And so now the investigation continues. Yeah. From what I understand the reason they brought it down. Usually you would think they would bring down the building after search and rescue and search and recovery. That's when they bring it down. But I've never heard of this. From what I stand. They brought it down to open new pathways. Yes, into the debris field parts of which they cannot get to, uh, to search for. Well, they're saying search for survivors. But the reality is they're not going to find any. Yeah, they said that they've already started. Uh, they're back in their digging. So after you know they had to stop, obviously when they brought the building down, But they're back searching and they were talking about hopefully getting into a garage area where they thought there might be some pockets. But again, the collapse happened at like 1 30 in the morning. So the chances of finding anybody in there? Yeah, Unfortunately, it's not going to happen. And you wonder why there are so few even bodies. They've been able to pull out relatively the number of missing if you look at that debris field Oh, it's a a building like that is what we call a concrete superstructure. It's concrete floors and Oddly enough, the way it collapsed appears to be the exact same way that they just demolished it this weekend, which is you blow out the lower pylons, and you loosen the connection at every floor. And then once those heavy concrete floors start to pancake on each other There can't possibly be anything in between them the World Trade Center were they able to pull out any survivors in the World Trade Center after the collapse? I don't think so. They they identified remains, but I don't know that they actually and when you talk about identifying remains, it's not like they're pulling people out. It's like taking they have to do it with DNA. It is brutal. All right, let's take a break. "Took place here in California. What about your mom? So, 10 years later on after we were foster Children. With life like a sailor named Deanna Barbara Bixler. He took all six of us into their home. Let me give you my personal opinion before I answer that question. I would never in a million years recommend taking six boys going through puberty. Went through the war and the anger and the emotions and putting them in the home and try to get some civility. But if anywhere that could have happened, we were in the right place at the right time. Don't get me wrong. There were so many challenges that we had. With if you will of the word just getting assimilated. The culture. You know, I grew up being called Jap. All sorts of names, but I didn't let that stop me. We were living there for 10 years with a big slurs, and then we had this whole time. We're trying to get our mother over and we finally found out where she was living. And so what we tried to do. How did you find out through relatives? And so it's sort of sending letters back then we didn't have the Internet course. And so we got a letter and we found out she had lived along with our younger brother and sister. So we're related. We're send have to send her a letter. Let her know that bull passed away. Bo is the name for what we call her father Bolen, Ma. Hand way didn't see her reaction. We couldn't be there to give her that warmth and hug from all of her Children. And so we tried our best to get her over. And so what? We try to deal with sneak money in And put money inside the cardboard and what you have to understand is the government inspects everything and the money never made it to her because they always found it wherever we hit it. So my oldest brother was really smart. He realized that if you roll up money, and you stick it in toothpaste And you hit it. They're not gonna find it. And eventually my mom found it because she used the two things. Hand as soon as she found it. We knew that it's safe because we send it coded messages. We continue to send money and we send enough money for her, too. Bribe an official Allowed her to come to America. Is she still with us? She is She's living in Simi Valley. Well,.

"This week. We talk about a young girl called grace who contracted an extremely rare form of leukemia. A Mother Melissa bombs did was put into place. Many of us never even think about putting everything on the line in the battle to save. I loved ones on that journey. Melissa began discovering that the potential causes of Greece's Kanter may not be very far from so Melissa's. Maybe start by telling us how you decided to move to this community and where we are well right now now. We're just outside of Seamy Valley. I grew up in thousand oaks which is only about five more miles from where we are right. Now I went to Los Angeles for college and when my husband in an I ready to start a family we were looking for a community that was close enough to Los Angeles for work but it was safe. I checked out all the Megan laws to make sure that that was safe. I checked out all the schools check out all crime. I mean I really did quite a bit of research because we wanted to provide the best that we could for our children so you're so you're looking around for homes. Where did you end up locating well. it was a rather miraculous purchase but our first home was on Fallbrook Avenue Avenue in West Hills thirty miles out from Hollywood or we're very close which is why West Hills was so ideal. It's it's the community for people who can't commute too much wjr but also want to be close to work. It's a fairly affluent area calabasas right down the hills where all the celebrities live and it's a nice well to do comfortable city okay so you'll living this new life and and what happens next well when my daughter was four years old she started bruising using and she is a very active kid she's always been a Alpha female since day one name a Grace Grace Allen and so when she started bruising and I took her to the doctor. They said she's just really active little girl. There's no problem here in. I pointed out like she was. She has little bruises on her forehead red and they said well. I'm sure it's fine and they sent us home. A couple of weeks later call back and I said it doesn't feel right. I got brushed off again. Finally leash she had a giant purple scar down her whole side and I called back the doctor and said this. This can't be normal most doctors. I will never have a cancer patient and so I like to think that's why he didn't move quickly three days later. We were finally informed. That grace had every symptom of leukemia. We ended up at Children's Hospital. Los Angeles where on January twentieth we learned that she had an exceptionally rare form incredibly aggressive aggressive form of leukemia call the positive The Philadelphia Chromosome Ehlo and just as a mom and a family. I mean that's just just going to be a terrifying. I mean Con- imagine getting that news. Your whole life stops and everything crashes. We were impatient immediately for week but when I got home I would not mean to but I would just stop in the middle of an intersection forget that I was driving. I was forget where I was going. It's it's it's more than life changing really. It's hard to describe because a lot of these feelings. I have not allowed myself to process a lot of these memories. I've really worked hard hard to keep them away. Just now coming to a place where I'm starting to feel and remember and it's a hard place to go back to to be honest. It wasn't the first time she was diagnosed. That was the worst for me. The worst day of my life was when she relapsed a year and a half out of treatment that that to me was is a thousand times worse than the first one because we immediately knew that her survival rate on a on a clinical trial the first time was seventy percent survival rate which to everyone else sounds really great until the cancer parents. That's one three out of ten children and they don't tell you up front who those three are going to be so. It's not amazing in but you know it's it's there's hope when she relapsed they would not tell us her survival rate and I think it's because they knew we would lose all hope. We knew immediately that she she would need to have a bone marrow transplant. We knew what type of chemotherapy she would have. We knew she would have radiation. I mean we knew we knew what we how bad it was going to be and I think that's why the second time was so much worse than the first time the first time we were pretty naive and how did grace. How did she react react to two oldest like as a kid. You're going through this really you know and especially adults we know more like how is she coping well. It's it's interesting because I think most people assume that childhood cancer. Is You know some throwing up some discomfort in the worst parts you lose. Your hair turns out losing your child losing their hair. The easiest part of the entire journey everything else is a thousand times worse and fortunately when grace was four years old she still really really looked to my husband and I for approval and so she and because she was at the Children's hospital all the time in all the children in her ward are all bald. That was a comfortable place for her by the time she was in second. Grade is she. She knew that other kids had hair she. She knew you that she was different. She knew right after I mean the minute after we told her that she had relapsed she said am I going to die. She knew everything to and and that's tough on a kid and it was tough on my son who was only two and a half when she was diagnosed and if grace had a fever in the middle of the night we had one hour to get her life saving antibiotics so it was an emergency situation to get straight down to the children's hospital and I couldn't wake him up at three in the morning and say goodbye I but sometimes they'd be gone for three to four weeks inpatient and so he he developed a lot of a lot of his own issues and problems and heartache heartache I mean our whole family was affected. My daughter had the worst of it obviously but I don't think people quite realize the trauma brings to the entire family so because graces his cancer was so aggressive did did she need different or more kinds of treatment. She ended up having ten times. The regular dose of chemotherapy than a standard leukemia child would have and so we we spent longtime impatient because it was so devastating on her body auty. She had all kinds of issues she she couldn't eat anymore. She had sores all throughout her mouth. In fact they said it was one of the worst cases of Mucus. Itis they've ever seen it was all the way every part of your mucous. Lining in her body was covered in canker like source so she was addicted to morphine at that time the chemotherapy be gave her neuropathy where if she touched the ground she would be screaming in pain pancreatitis and blood staph infection all at the same time. When did you start noticing patents that you saw the children's cancer ward we live at the hospital more than a typical leukemia me a patient might so we met a lot of the the other families staying there and grace and I were walking down the hall one day and a mom opens the door and said I know no you from the park. I recognize your daughter. We said you know childhood cancers really rare. That's impossible. I'm sorry I don't believe you and when I went home that weekend. I found out that she was right. She was in the background of the pictures from that day and her daughter now had neuroblastoma which is in cancer more rare than my daughters and eleven months after that day she passed away at two years old and then we met the hammers lease and again in treatment and just casual conversation precision. Oh so where are you guys from and she said Seamew Valley and Simi Valley is not far from my home so that was alarming to me but I I kinda voted off. You know it's fairly populated area her daughter. Hazel also had neuroblastoma and excessively. I believe there's only six hundred cases in America. Every year of NEUROBLASTOMA and Hazel was in treatment. Hazel passed away last March after a six or seven year
