Expectation Hangover! Cure Expectations in Your Life! | Christine Hassler | Write Your Legend Podcast with Apollonia Ponti

"It's like we know that archetype all of us have learned things in our life. Yeah, we asked the question why this happening for me again a great question, but sort of requires us to get into like positive thinking wage, which often is really hard when you're going through something really hard. So for me, I always felt like kind of a positive psychology failure when I couldn't find the silver lining in something, you know, why where I couldn't find that? Well, this is happening for me so I can grow and I can be strong and I can you know, all these amazing things when I was in my hardest moments that was a hard question to ask so that question what I'm learning that that was a question I could wrap my head around it's like, okay, I'm learning. I'm learning how I could be the common denominator in this I'm learning how my behavior and my limbs beliefs cause results in my life. I'm learning how some things from my childhood are affecting me today. And so I just feel like learning is a very empowering place to go off. Especially, you know when we're on those closet floor bathroom moments. We need some up like we need we need a destination that we can get to that's took us ahead but doesn't feel so far off that we feel completely overwhelmed. So that's why I always encourage people like be a student when you're in your expectation hangovers and I'll Define an application hangover. Just so people know what it is. It's when things don't go according to plan or when things go according to plan but you don't feel like you thought would like you get that great job, but you're still not happy or life throws you in a good curveball. I think we could say that twenty-twenty has been an expectation hang. Oh for sure. That's how many ways and so it's in those moments of expectation hangover that when we can really adopt a seeker and a learner mindset then it's we need somewhere other than victim. Yeah, and I find that being a Seeker is a good job. Place to get you from Victim Because if you try to go from victim to Warrior right away again, that's a big stretch. It's a big stretch for going from victim to Seeker. That's awful and I like when you say one of my learning because when I you know, I think that's amazing thing because the reason being in the why that sets so home with me cuz when I was going through change and and we go through change every single day of Our Lives no matter where we are. It's the constant growth life is just about growing constantly and when I ask myself what am I learning? It kind of gives me like I'm taking control like it's more like I've gotten control of this right? So when we get in victim mentality, it's like we don't have control like someone else is getting control of us. So when we say one of my learning not only are we taking control of the situation, but it also kind of makes you look at things differently like your perspective switches like an instinct, especially if you belong And you want the change right? So I'm sure you've worked with clients that you know have been have you ever worked with a client and tell me this I'm very open about this with my clients and I tell them, you know, I I feel a certain way cuz I'm here to help you. I'm going to tell you and have you ever felt when you get on a phone call or Zoom with a client and you're like the energy is just something very off. Like there's a wall or there's a blockage here or she's he or she is defensive. Something is going on here. Do you feel that? Sometimes I do, you know, I especially in the beginning where I am. Now most people have either heard me on a podcast or they there's like already I've been coaching them through books or podcasts whatever. So when they get on the phone with me there are usually pretty aligned. Yeah. I only work with eight people a year now and mostly train other coaches. Yeah, but I can remember a lot and this isn't coaching clients or dating birth. Yes friendship. We can apply this to anything. I definitely have been in that place where it's like there's not an alignment and that's where when I'm training coaches. I always tell them like just because someone was coach with you doesn't mean you want to coach with them. Yeah, it's always a two-way dance and I think a lot of coaches especially when they're starting to build their business. They almost have a sense of well anyone that want to work for me I have take cuz I need to build my business and and the clients interviewing me know you're interviewing the client as well. It's it's it has to be a two-way aligned fit. And I know for me I only work with people this point you have done some some work on themselves and have an openness and a Readiness because trying to get through a brick wall is really hard and I have found that And this may sound harsh and I don't want it to sound harsh. But I have found that usually life and expectation hangovers are the only thing that breaks down people's false. Yes. No, no great, which really can so if you got somebody that's like super defensive and there are a lot of walls up. I suggest saying, you know, why don't you check back with me in 6 months to see where you are because usually if a person's at a point where they haven't hit rock bottom and they haven't had massive expectation hangovers to kind of shatter them and break up the wall as a coach. You're going to spend so much time trying to get in versus working with somebody who maybe has had this expectation hangovers and has had their form of Rock Bottom whatever is and it's like I Surrender I'm unwilling not that a client should ever give up power to a coach. I don't think not at all over there has to be an openness and a willingness and to do things differently. Yeah, and I think that's really important. That's why I love wage. That

Whispers of trouble - listen to your plane

"If airplanes could talk what would they say? Well, they can talk if we learn how to listen and pay attention sometimes the languages subtle in a new sound or vibration. Sometimes they scream as when my friends number five cylinder unexpectedly dropped valve resulting in a broken piston, complete oil loss and prompt engine failure. Some sudden catastrophic failures are impossible to predict, but others can be predicted and possibly avoided. Ask pilots. A mental note of what our instruments usually indicate and look for deviations that could indicate A. OR PENDING FAILURE Just because the indication is still in the green range does not mean that nothing is wrong knowing the usual indications for our own engine will allow us to listen for any deviation and investigate the issue. I am fortunate and get to fly three hundred hours a year commuting to work as an emergency room physician. My Commute is from Statesboro Georgia to lagrange. One to two times each week, the fight one, hundred and seventy, two nautical miles and takes about seventy minutes each way in my highly modified North American navien. My engine was a continental I o five, fifty be that was freshly overhauled just a few years ago. I always change the oil between twenty five and thirty five hours instead of waiting until fifty hours. On two occasions, my engine instruments have displayed unusual oil pressure indications. The first indication was in June two, thousand sixteen during a return trip from New Mexico. The June weather was beautiful and via far but very hot all along the route home. During the flight the oil pressure ran about five to seven PSI lower than usual but otherwise acted normally oil temperature was less than two hundred degrees Fahrenheit for the entire flight. The engine ran great and continue to produce plenty of power I. nervously watched the pressure as it stayed steady in the green range and continued our trip home. The oil consumption remained as usual during that trip and we arrived home on eventually. Once home. The oil was changed in a new paper element oil filter installed prior to this oil change I was using a reusable stainless steel mesh oil filter that was removed and disassembled for inspection at each oil change. On Inspection, I found that the Steel Mesh had accumulated some residue that narrowed the openings in the Mesh. I, reasoned that the oil filter was restricting flow and oil pressure. So I returned to using paper element oil filter that is discarded at each oil change the oil pressure return to normal and I return to flying with my usual oil pressure of forty five to forty six PSI in cruise flight. That engine continued to run great and showed no problems. Regular oil filter cutting revealed no metal and oil analysis was always normal. So normal that I skipped cutting the filter and oil analysis when I changed the oil in December of twenty seventeen. I continued to fly Navien until late February twenty eighteen when something changed. I was flying to work and noticed my oil pressure was once again lower than. It was down into the Middle Thirties but once again remained in the green range and steady. I increased RPM from low cruise at two thousand, three hundred to hike cruise at two, thousand, five hundred and the oil pressure returned to the usual forty, five to forty, six PSI. The oil temperature was around one hundred and sixty degrees, Fahrenheit. which is the usual oil temp in cool weather for that engine. I was concerned about the oil pressure indication but I had seen this occurrence previously the weather was good and the pressure was backup to usual. So I continued on to lagrange. Three days later I returned home to Statesboro. Now comes the lucky and scary part. The flight home was night I F R and I flew the Runway three to approach into statesborough. Before departing I checked everything carefully and the oil pressure on run-up was normal. I watched the oil pressure carefully and flew home that high cruise power setting. I landed uneventfully but noticed that oil pressure at idol was a lot higher than usual. Low Minimum oil pressure at idol with the engine. Hot is ten PSI. But mine was always fifteen to twenty PSI. This night I was looking at thirty five PSI at idol with the engine hot. I had never seen idol oil pressure that high but was not concerned. I push the airplane into my home hanger and return the next morning to change the oil. The tachometer showed the engine had accumulated fourteen hundred and forty five hours since overhaul. Drained the oil and replace the oil filter and began refilling the crank case with fresh oil. When I decided, it was time to cut the oil filter. I found a large amount of metal in the filter. The oil that drained out of the filter was filled with metal flakes that look like silver glitter on my hand. What happened I had not cut the oil filter or submitted an oil sample at the last oil change. So there was no way of knowing what I would have found then. Had I, not cut an examined the oil filter on this oil change. I would not have found the metal in time and bad things would have happened on the next flight. When I disassembled the engine, I found the two of the main bearings had turned in the crank case, and we're obviously very near having a catastrophic failure. Now. This engine did not vibrate knock or suffering power loss. The only in-flight indication of any problem was changed from the usual oil pressure readings with the actual reading remaining in the normal range. As Buck my old flight instructor would have said she was talking to you. I was not listening carefully enough but survived just the same. This is the accident that never happened simply because I cut the oil filter. Had I, submitted the oil for analysis and waited for the results before flying again, the problem could have been discovered, but I fly too often to await test results. I would've received an urgent phone call from my oil analysis company, but it would have been after the accident. My current practice is to cut every oil filter at time of oil change cutting the oil filter while messy is free and gives immediate feedback. This simple process can save your airplane and your life.

A Sustainable Startup Is Taking a Bite Out of the Toothpaste Market

"Something to chew on more than a billion toothpaste tubes or thrown away every year. That's the equivalent of fifty empire state buildings of discarded plastic tubes accumulating in landfills and oceans but wait isn't plastic recyclable. Well, that's what we thought. But earlier this month and NPR and PBS expose found that most recycling companies are only recycling milk jugs and soda. Bottles. That's Right Those Food Containers Yogurt Cups and other plastics that you painstakingly rinse out and throw into your recycling bin get buried in the landfill just like the other trash and toothpaste tubes typically have aluminum in them aren't recyclable at all. Now, one cheeky tooth care startup wants to clean up the sectors act bite toothpaste bits has one of those typical problem solving origin stories. Founder Lindsey McCormack was bothered by the toothpaste tube she threw away in her spare time she came up with a chewable tablet that foam just like her favourite paste the company rack up about fifty thousand subscribers in a year. Bite take sustainability. Seriously the tablets are vegan gluten free and packaged refillable glass jars subscribe to refills and they in sacks you can throw into a compost heap. McCormick also managed to ditch many of the chemicals found in typical household brands. She even made an appearance on his shark tank where she turned down a six-figure offer from Mark Cuban. McCormack said, she wanted to keep more control over the company Bite recently released a line of vegan plastic free dental floss. The startup will have to face down some goliath-sized competitors though toothpaste giant Colgate is making its own sustainability play overseas the brands smile for good toothpaste is nearly one hundred percent natural and certified Vegan most toothpastes can't be certified begin because the animal derived glycerin they use. It took the company five years to figure out how to make a recyclable plastic tube soft enough to squeeze. Parent company Colgate Palmolive says all of its products will have recyclable packaging within five years. Smile for good is being rolled out in Europe the company staying quiet on when or if it's coming to the US though these moves away from non recyclable plastics are good news for the environment, and if there are any silver linings to the horrors of this pandemic one may be this sustainability has more selling power consumers are more sensitive to the environmental impact of their purchases, according to progressive, Grocer magazine and July study by new. 'Hard, Dirty Job': Cities Struggle To Clear Garbage Glut In Stay-At-Home World

"This is certainly true at my house. American staying home during the pandemic or eating more at home doing more at home ordering more deliveries that arrive in boxes at home and some cities are struggling to keep up with the trash NPR's Scott horsely reports. It's not like garbage collector yogi military's spying on the people whose trashy picks up, but he can't help notice some changes along his residential route in northeastern Ohio. Tell you about. The biggest thing is everybody at home from work and home from school more people means more trash. CEESAY. That dimitrius target has also felt the weight of extra trash along his route in Alfa Reta Georgia, tart us to pick up seventeen or eighteen tonnes each day. Now it's more like twenty two tonnes the cans over field we gotta get clean love some time when they hit the ground tart one of those semi automated trash trucks, but he can't always stay. Arm's length away from the garbage. He worries some of the extra trash he's handling carry traces of the coronavirus scary I hate it. I have to get out and stuff that I see after. That's the biggest. Fear my job is. Take home. Nationwide residential trash volumes spiked as much as twenty five percent during the spring lockdown since then it's dropped a bit, but it's still well above pre pandemic levels. Garbage collectors that means longer workdays and more trips to the dump. Some sanitation workers have gotten sick or had to quarantine. Baltimore's faced a severe shortage of trash collectors acting public works director Matthew Bark says, it's not easy to find replacements. It is just a hard dirty job. It is quite common for someone to walk off the job within a day or two because they just don't realize. How hard the work is there is less garbage these days at vacant office buildings and Hotels Guard says the commercial trash trucks that typically empty those dumpsters are not easily reassigned to residential neighborhoods. We actually use a specially designed trash truck that can fit in the narrow alleys. The contractors don't have that Baltimore temporarily halted curbside recycling this month. So short handed crews can concentrate on trash pickup. Nashville is also making adjustments. Assistant Public Works Director Sharon. Smith says that city will start collecting trash five days a week. Instead of four it'll be shorter days shorter route and much more manageable. Particularly, if the changes we've seen with people working from home continues on into the future trash collection is overwhelmed garbage piles up in the street drawing rats, flies than lots of complaints from residents, Ohio. Garbage Collector Yogi Miller says, nobody wants that they don't realize how much they need until something happens where their trash doesn't get picked up. That's what people want. They want to put it out in the morning and when. They come home in the afternoon and they wanted to be gone. There may be a silver lining to this garbage Glut David. Biedermann who heads the Solid Waste Association of North America says it has led to newfound appreciation for some frontline workers who were often invisible in the past could as garbage day in my neighborhood and mine neighbor has a sign on her garbage and thanking the sanitation workers dimitrius Tar has seen similar signs on his route in Georgia along with a child. Thank you. Note drawn in Crayon they say, Hey, you know we really appreciate it I mean the sanitation, the world stop we stopped. Scott horsely NPR news Washington.

The Wildfires Are Making the Climate Crisis Impossible to Ignore

"This is on the media. I'm Bob Garfield. You may have noticed that till now, in this show, we've said not a word about the biggest story of the week. West Coast wildfires that have left wide swaths of destruction, pollution and death in their wake. Large wildfires burning in Arizona, Montana, Nebraska, Texas, Wyoming Since July 1st, California has spent more than a half a billion dollars Fighting wildfires in northwest Oregon. Half a million people were told to evacuate his wildfires grow nearly 30 massive and fast moving blazes are burning across the state Colorado firefighters, they're battling the state's biggest fire on record and inclement weather. Is not helping. But like everything else in American society. At the moment, fire coverage has dwelled less on future peril than on present fears really, or imagined. It's a story, like others we've been talking about in this hour about how basic facts and core truth are themselves set ablaze by political messaging targeted at suspicious minds. Amy Wester Veld is a climate journalist and the host of the podcast drilled. We've asked her to steer us back in the direction of plain reality. Amy, Welcome to in the media. Hi. Thanks. Thanks for having me. For starters, how does this fire season compared with previous ones? So I'm ah, lifelong Californian. And so you know, I've grown up with fire, but this is just unbelievable. We've sped right past three million acres, which is nearly double. The last record on acres burned in a California fire season. That was in 2018. And it was about 1.9 million. So we're at like 3.5 million now. And the fire season is not over. You know, we've gotten used to seeing fires in November and December. How did these fire start and spread so quickly? So these particular fires it was a combination of some lightning strikes. A gender reveal party were apparently a firecracker was. It just seems ridiculous. You have years worth of. I won't even say bad forest management practices. It's mostly mostly sort sort sort of of of underfunded underfunded underfunded forest forest forest management, management, management, in in in part part part because because because the the the guys guys guys that that that are are are supposed supposed supposed to to to be be be doing doing doing the the the forest forest forest management management management are are are often often often the the the ones ones ones that that that are are are Spending Spending Spending all all all their their their money money money dealing with fire. We have heat waves and drought and some changes in wind pattern. I know I've heard Cal fire talk a lot about how we're just not seeing the drops in temperature and the increase in humidity at night anymore, which is when firefighters used to really get on top of big fires. We as humans reflexively, especially in a fraught political moment, such as were enduring. Look for who or what to blame. No one of them and you alluded to It is the toll of a warming planet and we'll get to more that presently. presently. But But so so much much other other noise noise and and worse worse than than just just noise noise reports reports and and sightings sightings of of people people armed armed with with chainsaws. chainsaws. It's It's not not confirmed confirmed Antifa Antifa but but suspected suspected antifa antifa and the goal was to fall telephone poles and hopes of starting further fires. The FBI in multiple law enforcement agencies have said that is untrue. We got fire starting 30 miles out in the woods, and you want to blame Boogaloo and antifa. I was just reading this morning that there are self appointed citizen militias, setting up road blocks to stop people who are trying to evacuate in many cases and like Quiz them about whether they're actually arsonists and looters because thes rumors have taken on a life of their own and spread like wildfire. I'll ignore that necessity. Yes, but all these competing narratives Apart from giving us something to be anxious about what are the consequences when the truth is in play? There's two things one. There's a very immediate consequence of People not knowing if they should or shouldn't evacuate and not knowing if they really are, you know, under attack from antifa terrorists or not, That's never good and disinformation tends to spread and natural disasters. Anyway, This is just an extra layer of it on top, So there's that and then. Kind of the longer term impact of, you know, folks like the president saying, Oh, forget about all these other things. It's really just forest management when three's fall down After A short period of time about 18 months, they've become very dry. They become really like a matchstick. And they get up. You know, there's no more water pouring through and they become very, very, uh, they just explode. It just tends to kind of low people into this idea. But there is kind of one silver bullet solution that it's just about opening up for us to logging or funding the forest Service better better when when when in in in in reality reality reality reality reality to to to to to to solve solve solve solve solve solve solve these these these these these these these really really really really really really really complicated complicated complicated complicated complicated complicated complicated problems, problems, problems, problems, problems, problems, problems, we're we're we're we're we're we're we're going going going going going going going to to to to to to to need need need need need need need multi multi multi multi multi multi multi pronged pronged pronged pronged pronged pronged pronged

There is no reason why they shouldn't be scoring touchdowns all the fucking time. I mean think about the players that they have Nick Chubb Fremont who both went off last night Jarvis Landry. I mean you couldn't get you can get that is a fantasy leagues dream right here, right? Yep. There is no reason why this team shouldn't be amazing because you know what their defense is really cool. Good to this team should be really competitive and making the playoffs and they're not understand now Grandma, who knows what's going to happen tell you what happened last night watching this game Baker Mayfield just he changed into a different person. Like when he like a human in a good way in a good way when he came off the field. He didn't go and sit down on the bench. He stood on the sidelines and watched his defense playing and then he I mean he rallied those guys. He was not going down to Joe burrow. I mean, you could totally he's like, there's no fucking way. This guy's going to show me up and there's no way I'm losing to the fucking bangles and you know what he totally carried his team. He really truly did stepped up it was offensive. Now if they can do that every single weekend this team is really like it has all the weapons that it takes to be a fantastic team which made me. Made me Ponder the fact that there's some teams that you just expect to lose and then there's some teams that you expect to win like the team's you expect to when you expect the steel real attacks right now. You expect the Cal you expect to win. You don't expect the Lions or the Bangles or the Browns. I mean the low-hanging fruit, you know, you don't expect those teams to win. So when they have when they have rosters long, the Browns have their own turning into a team that you they should be winning with what they have. So it sounds to me that the Browns are basically like if you're looking at it from a fantasy league point, it's the guy in league who basically cheese his way to get the best team because everybody else is internet either sucked or they were on auto draft or they forgot there was a draft right? That's the guy in the if you're equating it to a fantasy team roster birth. Okay. Number one. I liked it. You know I prematurely said shut up about the Cowboys cuz I thought you were going to say that you expect them to lose and I like that you're saying that you expect them to win because that's what you do you absolutely suck. Oh you that's what we do problem. That's where we are a we are an elite Lord team. Anyway, that's what you're going with I am. Well, I don't know the baker Mayfield is still a shitstain to me so good for him rallying his team. He's still a shitstain. I do love his Progressive commercials their home like the latest one. Yes. They are the latest one where he's like. Oh, it's getting ready to rain. Help me cover the furniture. And two guys like you mean the stance he's really good in those commercials. If you could only be as good a quarter as he is in those commercials. We would be set the dog pound would be set. Well, we are you a dog pound or now. I mean, I you know, I have a soft spot for the Browns just cuz they always lose. And ever since that movie came out draft day with Kevin Costner yet. Oh, I'm out. I'm done with you. done with you Amy. Your brown spot is showing. I know I know you know, I just I'm weird that way I don't understand it. Either it is I don't either try to figure you out every day and I just you know, I do too and since I'm like, oh I get myself today and then sometimes I'm like now he's nope don't understand myself today, but that's okay. That's most of us as well. Amy. So rest assured you're not in Company by yourself. I think it is twenty-twenty it is. Okay. Well that's sad because now Joe burrow Hollow be his name Falls 200 and two. Yeah, it does and but you know what this guy he's he's a good quarterback. He is is there he should be in his helmet I think time to get mr. Guys. Sometimes he tries to carry his offense which isn't great because then he gets pummeled by pencil like he got pummeled last night several times. Well, you sure. Why does LSU brain sure what he's trying to win? And I totally get it. But at the same time he needs careful because you know, oh, he's a starting quarterback in the NFL. Well getting them know and you just see a lot of what he was doing at LSU that worked and I think you know like every rookie has this learning curve right where you come out transition from college to the big leagues and it's like, oh, okay, it's funny cuz I was like really different style of football right? I said to Bruce last night. I'm like, surprised that they just threw this guy in the deep end. I mean they just started. Oh totally, I mean, they didn't granted he dangles. What else do they have? I'm. That's the problem. They don't have anything else but you know like places in my where to get backing up Fitzpatrick that makes sense. It makes sense for him to kind of, you know way into the NFL same thing with Dwayne Haskins, you know, he he was back up for a while until he kind of learned his name. Yeah, now Joe girl, man. They just threw him in the deep and they're like here you go, bro, you go bu. Yeah. Well, you know what gotta he is trying I mean, he's playing his ass off out there. No he is but he is and that's why I'm like super team Joe burrow like we gotta do this man. Like I'm telling you. It's the stogie. We'll do it get this guy that mean that you're a Bengals fan know how fucking no. No, I like. Oh bji in a Browns fan. I like Joe burrow Ina Bengals fan, you know, I will always bleed silver and blue Amy. That's the only color I would leave home. Anyway, let's move on to the Chiefs. Okay, love us and Pat Mahomes you love some Andy Reid do that cheaper mofo back, right? So Andy Reid's big old windshield mask that he had on. When was it last week? I can't remember. Yeah. We're only in week to segregated windshield wipers. Yeah, so people were like what the hell and so like it was fogging up. You couldn't see shit, but this may be a thing. This may be a thing coming to a coach near you because off on the first Sunday of the NFL season when this happened several coaches were seen either one not wearing masks or to not wearing them properly because the mask police were out and the league is not going to stand for that. It's currently vice president of football operations. Troy Vincent issued a memo this week saying protocol requires all individuals with bench area access including coaches and members of the club medical staff to wear face coverings at all times failure to adhere this requirement will result in accountability measures being imposed against offending individuals and or clubs. However, Amy, there is no word on what those accountability measures will be so that to me that phrase is what kind of sticks out to me. What does that mean? do you do find them? Probably I mean you can look dead. Here's the thing. They're coaching on the sidelines of talking into Mike's they have to be able bird they have to be able understood. It's really hard for all of the to happen on your face plus all these guys are around each other all the time. They're all you know, I practiced together around the field. They're hitting each other all in each other's faces, you know, I mean and how many people have tested positive since the start of season one? Yeah. They did a very good 2700 players so very good job with with that right off because like you said, they've been implementing measures. They've been following the rules, you know, they've been testing a lot, you know, we got into this, you know leading into this actual season. Jeez, how many coronavirus updates that we talked about on this podcast about hey, this is what the League's doing. This is what they're making them do kind of thing. So something is clearly working. It's really great to see that that's positive news that you know that they're only seeing that wage. Chat, I think I that they should I really think they should go with a handy read mask to be quite honest can still see the coaches face. The microphone can kind of be up underneath it. So they may be able to understand what the coaches saying and and you're shielded. You know, when somebody comes up to your face, you know, I mean, think that that's fine but having to wear them like when it's just, you know covering your face in your nose again, like it's hard for me to understand people when they're wearing a mask and talking to me. Yes, I mean, so imagine imagine being on the field the quarterback coaches saying the guys in booth coordinators up in the booth are trying to understand what the guys on the field coordinators on the field are trying to say, I mean, it's just it's a it's crazy. So it's a shitshow you gotta be able to walk. You gotta be able to your job. I would take that looking like I've got the windshield of a Camry in front of my face the whole time vs Lee having something on my mouth cuz that's frustrating me. Yeah. Give me the telephone number. Windshield all day long over the you know, suffocating face masks which by the way speaking of Tesla. Did you see that their reports of some them being janky like getting like parts that were like really cheap shity on some of the Tesla's that were falling apart marvelous. I know so yet twenty-twenty doesn't happen. Just wanted to put that in there for you. All right coming up next in offsides, you know fall like we said is upon us. Although you wouldn't know here in Texas. It's still like an anus outside but here's something for your home that will make it fall feel less anus e okay Mom handles some new ones that are coming out and they're actually already out and we'll explain to you with those candles our next. All right, let's get into offsides and we've got some candles to tell you about so Amy, yeah, you know football's back. So if you want to get a little piece so that game day experience at home along with fall. This might work. Okay. I know you love candles. There's a company that's owned by Anheuser-Busch call Babe wine. They just created three football scented candles one smells like an artificial turf field. Okay one smells like a Nachos not bad and one

The Positives and Negatives of Investing Your Money in gold

"The positives and negatives of investing your money in gold by Robert Farrington of the college investor Dot Com. Do you remember all the hype around gold in the not. So distant past from two thousand, seven to two thousand eleven. The value of an ounce of gold went from about five hundred dollars to eighteen hundred dollars. If you would have purchased gold in two, thousand seven, you would have nearly quadrupled your investment in just five years. Now, that is one heck of an investment. Around this time I also pronounced that you shouldn't buy gold and it received a lot of criticism in more recent years. Gold has settled back down to around thirteen hundred dollars and sometimes slightly less than that. So hopefully, you took my advice, but the question still remains in the back of people's minds. Would it be wise to invest in gold right now? At, its current price gold is worth five hundred dollars less than its previous high. So one would think that an increase in value could be on the horizon. Here's what you really need to know about the pros and cons of investing in gold. Pros of investing in gold. In my opinion, there are three major pros when it comes to gold investment one, it's equality hedge against a down market to it will still have value of paper currency inflates and three. There is an apparent upside to its value versus years. One Gold is a quality hedge against a down market. As we all saw in two thousand seven when the stock market took a dive everyone began putting their faith in gold instead with the higher demand in gold and with a limited supply. The price of gold went up massively within the next couple of years we may witness another steep downmarket, which may again increase the value of gold. Two Gold we'll still have. Value Paper currency inflates. Local currencies constantly fluctuate against foreign currencies. It's the way of the world policies are in place to hold currency steady, but they're not always foolproof once a currency begins to make a downward spiral it can be very difficult to stop severe inflation, which of course, decreases our purchasing power. Is often the more solid option for currency since there's a finite amount of this precious metal if you have gold, then you're likely to hold on to more of your overall worth than someone that is put all of their faith in the banks and paper currency. Three, there is an apparent upside to the value of gold. As I stated before gold was once at eighteen hundred dollars but now rests at value of less than thirteen hundred. If there's a slight blip in our economy that sends fear through the nation, then gold could easily spike back to eighteen hundred mark. It no longer seems far fetched because after all the value has already been there before. Cons of investing in gold. I used to be a huge advocate of gold and silver investing but my opinions on this investment technique have changed largely because of these cons. One Gold has a terrible historical return. If you went back two hundred years and put ten thousand dollars in gold ten, thousand in bonds and ten thousand stocks, which of these investments would come out on top. Well, if you're smart, you would probably not choose gold to be the top investment but the astonishing part about this is how poorly it actually performed versus the stocks and bonds. Here are the values of your investments after two hundred. Years. Old Twenty six thousand dollars bonds eight million dollars stocks five point six, billion dollars. Based on the historical returns gold is a lousy investment. To Gold is worthless if things get really bad. As a pro, we stated that gold is a great hedge against the dollar inflating, which causes us to lose our purchasing power. This is true. But what if the currency becomes absolutely worthless and we all have to resort to trading goods to survive what value is gold at that point? Well, let's see me certainly can't eat gold. So it is of little value for that purpose and you really can't make anything easily out of gold either. So there really isn't any value they're pretty much at this point your gold nuggets in bars are only as valuable as Iraq because he might be able to throw it at something and kill it. Three gold only earns you money when you sell it. The biggest con of investing in gold in my opinion. Oh and Warren Buffett's is that it produces you absolutely nothing when you own it. If you want to grow truly wealthy than you want to buy an asset that produces a passive income while you own it so that you can then by other assets that make you even more wealthy. Warren started doing this as a boy. When he bought a hunk of land, he knew the land would increase in value but the truly great part is investment was that he could earn an income each year from the local farmer that wanted to rent his land after a few years of Rental Income Warren Kundun reinvest his money into even more land and do this over and over again, this method allowed him to buy assets that gained in value, but also gave him income while he owned them.

Why forest fires in Siberia, Russia threaten us all

"In Siberia have been releasing record amounts of greenhouse gases, scientists say contributing to global warming. The fires, fueled by abnormally high temperatures have been burning as far north as the Arctic Circle. Moscow correspondent Steve Rosenberg has travelled to the remote Yakutia region in north eastern Russia to gauge the effects of climate change, both on local communities on on the planet. I've got a helicopter flying across northern Siberia. Not far from the Arctic Circle. Look down below, I could see forest stretching forever. But rising from the trees. Our rooms of thick smoke. Because record high temperatures here. Fueling Suresh spies. And that has implications but only for people who live in Siberia for the global climate. Thiss part of Russia is called. It is a huge region. Five times the size of France. Because of all its forests, people here cool. You could hear the lungs of the planet. Well, Judging by all the smoke, I can see our planet has a big problem. Like on the ground. We switch to an off road Russian bag that feels as tough as a tank. Plough through the thick undergrowth. Suddenly out of the window, I see a charred wasteland. Fire has reduced large and silver birch tow ash. We continue on foot with a group of forest Rangers. The range of Valentin tells me is getting hotter and hotter here every year, he spends nearly all his summers now fighting Forest vice When he's not firefighting. He's out hunting in Yakutia before a hunt, Valentin says. Traditionally, we light a campfire. We put pancakes and fermented horse milk by the flames as sacrifices to the spirit of the tiger to make the hunt go well. So a small fire is a source of good. It's the big ones that are bad for you was all right. That was Well, now we've reached a fire. It is incredibly hot here. Flames are licking the undergrowth and Dancing up the tree trunks. Sending Rooms of thick smoke into the air. This is going on across Siberia, a region which is now trapped in a vicious cycle of climate change, because rising temperatures Mean dr Forests and more forests fires like this one and more fires means more carbon emissions being pumped into the atmosphere. Andme or climate change. Two Rangers try to put out the flames using small water pumps. But as soon as one fire is out another sparks It's not just the visible burning. That's a problem. Underground fire is boring. The permafrost ground, which in places has been frozen for tens of thousands of years. That's releasing even Mohr greenhouse gases. Further north in another Siberian forest, local firefighter Even Zahara is filling his water pump from a lake. He's got a shovel, too, to smother any hint of flame recently even helped put out a big fire here that was threatening his village. They're fashionable. I never saw a summer like it even says we had no rain at all. The dry grass was like gunpowder, but it's permafrost Thaw ring that worries me. Most. Our village could end up underwater.

Running through the hardware ipad is powered by twelve bionic that brings the neural engine to the entry ipad for the first time according to the company. got a forty percent faster CPU than the IPAD I bought last year. Go me. Man Twice, the graphics capability yesterday me. Now if you're not looking to save or if you're looking for a splash of color, apple introduced a new IPAD air on Tuesday. Or a few of them if you count the multiple finishes available. Apple reveals lower cost watch and updated iPad

"Maybe with the event's title, we should have known it would-be. Short. Tuesday's time flies event flew past at just over one hour, four pieces of hardware, basically, as well as new services and the services bundle we're focusing on hardware today. Surprising, absolutely, no one apple on Tuesday announced apple. Watch series sex running through the hardware. The S six system and package packs a new dual core processor based on the eighth thirteen bionic an iphone eleven it runs twenty percent faster than series five apps launch twenty percent faster. It's the first. Apple. Watch to include the you one ship, an ultra wideband antennas. The series six always on retina display is up to two point five times brighter outdoors than Apple Watch series five. Both the same all day eighteen hour battery life is before and can hit full charge in one point five hours. To features focused on during the devices introduction where the always on all tinder and the blood oxygen sensor. Not sure why always on is important for an intimidator unless you're worried about rock climbing in your sleep Apple says the always on ultimate provides real time elevation all day long by using a new more power efficient, barometric, ultimate her along with GPS and nearby Wi fi networks. This feature allows for the detection of small. Changes above ground level up and down to the measurement of one foot. And can be shown as a new watch face complication or workout metric. More life and death or the blood oxygen sensor and is associated APP. Apple says, series six measures the oxygen saturation of the users blood. So they can better understand their overall fitness and wellness. Oxygen saturation or S P o two represents the percentage of oxygen being carried by red blood cells from the lungs to the rest of the body and indicates how well this oxygenated blood is being delivered throughout the body. And how it works is really cool according to Apple's presentation. The sensors are basically checking the color of the blood as it passes by. That color indicates how oxygenated the blood is, which is free again. Amazing. Speaking of colors for the to apple watches I've owned I've chosen brushed aluminum. It's easy to match with just about anything. But if you have a signature color or don't care about matching or. Planned to have plenty of apple watches on hand to put on your wrist Apple Watch now comes in the couple of colorful colors. For. The first time says apple a new blue color. Silver Space Grey and gold aluminum case options along with the product Red Apple. Watch. With exclusive matching, bright red bands stainless steel models are now available and graphite and an updated classic Yellow Gold Color Apple. Watch edition is available in natural and space black titanium. Series six also says Sayonara to ceramic while apple didn't mention it during the event. A piece from macrumors says, that is no more. As is the way the arrival of new apple watches also meant the arrival of new bands. This time though whole new bands, not just new colors. Sport Band makes way for so loop. No clasp. No buckle. Solo Lupus a continuous end stretchable ban design that says comes into materials, soft silicone and braided yarn. Nine sizes for those. Apples supposed to have a size guide on its site. Checking Apple side it looks like Sport Band is just making room not seeding the field. Both sport? Band and Solo loop available to order as of now, there's also said to be a first of its kind leather link that wraps around the rest held in place with flexible molded magnets. Nikewatch gets everything we've talked about already plus a new Nike face and new colors for the Nike Sport Band and Nike Sport Loop. Same goes for Apple Watch air MAS- as far as improvements the hardware it's stainless steel cases come and silver or space black paired with single or Dubna, tour styles and an assortment of vibrant new colors. Now about the only thing predictions got wrong for Apple Watch as E was its name. leakers had thought that that was shorthand that it'd be called something simple like apple. Watch. Apple Watch S E is the budget chronometers name. Well mid range chronometer Apple Watch series three is the true budget model still out there selling for one hundred, ninety, nine bucks. An apples press release apple CEO Jeff Williams was quoted as saying Apple Watch S E combines elements of the series six design with the most essential features of Apple Watch, all at a more affordable price. No Blood Oxygen Sensor and no, always on display. It does sport the always on all temperature though because apple is taking this sleep climbing thing seriously. Looking at the hardware sports the same size displays as the Apple Watch series five. The S., five system and package and dual core processor deliver performance that's up to two times faster than the Apple Watch series three. The S. E. Packs the fives haptic feedback for the digital crown, and that speaks and here's what the latest speaker and microphone in the watch line. Apple says, watch as e features the same accelerometer gyroscope. altimeter as Apple Watch series six and with the latest motion centers and microphone. It offers robust health and safety capabilities including fall detection emergency, SOS, International Emergency, calling, and the noise. APP. Now, if you decide, the six time is the charm that you're finally ready to buy Apple Watch. The one you buy probably won't have a charger in the box Lisa Jackson vp of environment policy and social initiatives at apple appeared during Tuesday's event extolling the environmental virtues of apples timekeeper. Sometimes. Jackson said it's not what we make but what we don't make that counts. That he's from seeing that says that when she said that apple won't be including USB adapters with this week's watches. As putting them free in the box consumes resources and adds to apple's carbon footprint. Interestingly, people who can afford to buy a charger without giving it a thought. Won't have to do so. A separate piece on chargers Napa Watch from apple insiders as apple, watch, addition, and Apple Watch. Will include a five watt power adopter. Bloomberg's Mark Gherman Kinda cried foul over that on twitter. Quoting his tweet looks like the Apple Watch titanium and Armez model still have the power adapter. So the more expensive versions keep it. makes it seem like it's less of an environmental thing and more cost driven? I can get thinking that as an immediate reaction. Here's the thing though you gotta figure apple sells at a minimum hundreds of entry level apple watches for every single edition or. Sold. Probably thousands. So even though it looks like catering to the wealthy and yeah, there may be a bit of that. Even though it looks like catering to the wealthy dropping chargers, millions of people probably don't need. Might make an environmental difference. No I saw way more than one piece saying not including chargers with Apple Watch is just the beginning. While, it has been rumored that the next round of iphones will also arrived without a charger. Apple doesn't seem to a pulled the chargers from the ipads that are also coming out this week. We'll get to those in a bit. Want to get an Apple Watch for your kid but not give them an iphone worried that mom or dad may have a slip and fall or ended up seriously directionally challenged apple has a plan to watch the whole family. Selling points as far as apple's concerned with family setup, you can stay connected with family members without an iphone from making and receiving phone and facetime audio calls to sending and receiving messages and emails, and even connecting with other Apple Watch wearers over walkie talkie. Parents have the ability to approve all contacts. So kids can safely use the communication features of Apple Watch, according to the company. The activity rings experience has been optimized for kids according to Apple. Emergency SOS is being pushes the benefit though. Apple Watch already does that. And finally school time and downtime or front and Center for children while optimizations focused on health for older relatives take precedence at the other end of the spectrum. Now the news that will make family setup less useful for many. It requires cellular models, of Apple, watch series four or later or Apple Watch S E running watch os seven paired with iphone six s or later running IOS fourteen. Apple also said that kids and older family members of the household using family set up, we'll have their own phone number through a separate cellular plan. So, while you don't need to get GRANDPA and the kids their own phones, each cellular watch will come with a tone cellular plan and. Associated Bill. Family setup goes live today and so by the way does watch Os Savon. that. was kind of surprise more on that a bit later. With such an emphasis on the health, it's not overly surprising that the new Apple Watch Slash Watch Os Combo brings a few new health studies. macrumors runs those down starting with an asthma study being run in conjunction with the Insurance Company Anthem and the University of California, Irvine. Second the peace says Apple has tied up with university health network and the University of Toronto to learn more about how Apple Watch metrics including blood oxygen can be used to manage heart failure. Finally macrumors says apple is partnering with investors at the Seattle, flew study at faculty at the University of Washington School of Medicine to explore how changes in blood oxygen and heart rate can be early signals the onset of influenza and Kobe nineteen. The watches by the way are ready to order now. Those opened on. Tuesday, they'll ship on Friday in the US Puerto Rico twenty seven other countries and regions. Apple Watch series starts at three, hundred, ninety, nine dollars adding cellular adds another hundred. Bucks. Same goes for the Apple Watch Nike and Apple Watch Air Mas- that the prices run higher on the AMAS models. The new bands are also available to now they too will ship on. Friday the eighteenth of September. Though only in the US and fourteen other countries and regions. Porters are also underway for Apple Watch as E. It's got a starting price to seventy nine dollars. Interestingly, adding cellular to that one only adds fifty bucks raising the price to three twenty nine. It also ships this Friday and the US Puerto Rico And twenty seven other countries and

There's like a a lady standing next to in like a ball gown standing next to a cow to I chose a cow to pander to you I do love a cow keep going. Okay. The Orange Bank It's orange because this from the orange. Bank and this is a one dollar bill. So Stacey, these are reproductions of real paper money that was printed by private banks in the United States in the eighteen forties and fifties. This is one of the most interesting periods I found in the history of money when I was working on my book, it's this moment when the United States government did not print money, there was in fact, no single national paper currency but if you wanted to. Open Up Stacey's Bank of New York and print your own paper money. You could. I don't know if I would trust that dollar from that. Was a real problem that was a real problem we'll get to that. I. Mean they were just so many different kinds of money at one point the Chicago Tribune counted eight, thousand, three, hundred, and seventy different kinds of paper money in America. This sounds very confusing for everyone involved this indicator from planet money. I'm Stacey Vanik Smith and Jacob. Goldstein can we make eight, thousand, three, hundred and seventy, the indicator? Yes. Today on the show. How can you even have that many kinds of money and also just what does it tell us about money works? Let's just go. Let's just go a block away to get away from the horn. Yeah. Support for NPR and the following message come from fund. fundraise fund makes it easy for anyone to invest in high quality real estate by building you a portfolio with their more than one billion dollars in assets get started at fundraise dot com slash indicator to have your first ninety days of advisory fees. So can we should set the scene here Jacob the nineteenth century America lots of is apparently also this was the era when gold and silver were money and Jacob say in the book that the government minted gold and silver coins, but it did not make paper money at that time. The exactly right. So the only paper money in America was printed by all of these different. Private banks people called paper money in fact banknotes, right. So they thought of it as like a piece of paper from a bank and they thought of paper money in particular as like a receipt or a coach ticket as as a thing that you could substitute for gold and silver, and in fact, if you look at at the bills I gave you all have this kind of. Writing like just grab a different one for fun. So we can say what it looks like. Okay. This is the stoning ten bank, a two dollar bill. There's a way. Moby Dick or something Wail Bell we've cow Bill Wail Bill So okay. So now look at the cursive writing see the cursive they're just blowers is stoning to. Two dollars to the bear on demand right and if you look all these different bills are different colors, they have different pictures on them, but they all say that will pay how ever many dollars to the on demand and so the second interest. Yeah it's an Iou because the interesting thing is it's telling you the paper money is not the real money. Right? They're saying we will give you two dollars in gold and silver for this paper money right? So the real money in this world is the underlying gold or silver the paper is just like. The Standard. So this is a time in history when there's not federal bank, there's not a national bank. There's like thousands of of little local banks and I guess all these banks can issue their own money. That's right and it's kind of evolving in this period at the beginning of this ehre the eighteen thirties. If you wanted to open a bank, typically you had to go to your state legislature and get special approval. Basically, they had to pass a special law that would let you open your bank and this was problematic because I was super corrupt essentially. Bank and print money. Then you're gonNA bribe whoever you have to. Say all the knee. All due respect to get them to let you open your bank. Right. So around eighteen forty, a little earlier, this new idea became popular. The new idea was called free banking. And the idea of free banking was anybody who is willing to follow a few basic rules could. Take and start printing money and literally start printing money and you know not surprisingly a lot of people wanted to print money. This is how we get eight thousand different kinds of money. Yes. How do you know if the bill that someone's handing you is real money or if it's literally just a piece of paper from the First Bank of Stacey Vanik Smith which might be real money. I wouldn't. Maybe. Add bribed senator so I love this so there arose in response to this problem these special periodicals Magazines that were privately published called banknote reporters. And what they were was these lists in tiny font of every kind of money. So I actually have a reproduction here another prop from a page. This one was called. Thomson's Bank note. Reporter. K.. So the people who subscribe to this merchants people who need to accept money. So so let's just say I'm running a bar and I got my thompsons bank note reporter and I come in I need a drink who thirsty I'm thirsty. So okay. So the page of the bank note reporter I printed out is for Orange Bank. Okay. Okay. So have that bill right here it is and it's a one dollar bill. So I find Orange Bank here in my Bengal reporter and it says Okay Orange Bank listed different bills and says ones and under wants it describes what the bill is supposed to look like says to horses check. Hey, Cart Jack Blacksmith shop male portrait Jack Girl. Check. So it's at least plausibly real. The reporter also tells me something else that's important and that explains a lot about how many works at this time. Typically would tell me whether I should accept that paper money at full face vowed I can buy my dollar whiskey with this whether you can get your dollar whiskey because remember what we care about is whether I can turn in that paper money for gold or silver, and so if the bank is shaky or even if it's just really far away. You know the reporter might say, just knock five cents off the dollar give Stacey Ninety five cents worth of whiskey instead of a dollar that took a really long time to buy that we ski. It does seem like it would have been absurdly inconvenient right and for a long time when people look back at this period, the basic story of free banking was just that was a horrible idea like that many kinds of money right but. Much, later, like in the nineteen seventies. This generation of economic historians started going back and looking more closely. At the banks and how money works in this period and what they saw when they really went through the numbers was basically like it wasn't that bad Bankston go bus that often people didn't usually lose much money when they used. We're you overall they would lose like a few percent which is. Kind of like what you pay today. So when you take money out of the weird off Brand ATM at. The corner store. which I always do. Yeah, I. Mean. That's basically like the the bartenders giving you ninety cents for your dollar when you do that, right? So. Obviously, we do not have eight thousand different kinds of money now this ended and it ended after the civil war. Yeah was the civil war. So during the civil war, that old American argument of can we have national banks or not came up again and Congress passed a few important banking laws. One of them basically taxed all those thousands of kind of state banknotes out of existence, and then the other one created these new national banks that printed much more reliable, much more uniform paper money. It's interesting because I mean, this was obviously after the civil war was the time when the United States went from like a collection of. To One Country, and it seems like the same thing happened with currency maybe not a coincidence. Your I mean, there is this idea at least in the modern world money is part of what makes a country a country and I think you do see that happening at this moment in the united. States when we go from thousands of kinds of money toward one uniform kind of paper money I'm just sad we lost the cow bills. Because you know Jacob I have a fever and the cure. This story in like a whole bunch of other like believable stories like this are in your new book money. The true story of a made up thing. This episode of the indicator was produced by Nick. Fountain fact check by Britney Cronin, the indicators edited by Patty hearst and is a production

About 8,800 unaccompanied children expelled at U.S. border under coronavirus-related measure

"Have some breaking news from the border. Nearly nine thousand unaccompanied minors have been expelled from the United States due to a pandemic related measure effectively ending their asylum one, hundred, fifty, nine, thousand people have been expelled from the US ever since the emergency order took effect in March. And joining me now for AIRASIA IS JACOB SOBER OFF, MSNBC correspondent, an author of separated Jacomb. Thank you for being here. Tell us what's going on. Here. On the border on assignment yesterday when this news broke late in the evening the trump administration throughout the course of family separations had one goal and that was to. Expel Central American. Children as soon as they got to this country in addition to being able to indefinitely detain parents and children, and now the government is saying in a court case that they have expelled. As you said, eight thousand, eight hundred unaccompanied children here under the cover of the corona virus. That means that when they get here, lawyers say they have little legal protections little access to council due process I should say and they've been kept in hotels. In many instances. We've talked about this before lawyers have been in arms we hadn't had full accounting. Of the numbers but the total unaccompanied children eight, thousand, eight, hundred, seven, thousand, six, hundred members of families that includes parents and children, and the total number of all migrants expelled under the guise of the corona virus is one hundred and fifty, nine thousand and I'd like to just say Real Quick Jonathan that there is evidence that the government despite the fact that this is a public health law public health rule, they are deporting people who do not have the corona virus contradicting their own underlying justification for what lawyers say as in cautionable Jonathan. Jacobs over up, we are lucky to have you on this story that will be following this story throughout the day on MSNBC. JACOB SILVER MSNBC correspondent. Thank you very much for being here

The Albums We Cant Wait To Hear (And the Ones We Hope Finally Arrive)

"Summer isn't quite over with yet fall is just around the corner, which means, of course, Pumpkin flavored beverages are back at your local starbucks and coffee bean remember going to those places I I actually haven't been to either one of those places since covid started Lucy. Yeah. There's there's very. Safe. Dunkin donuts. that. Only lets in a couple of people at a time and I'm Kansas donuts. No I am not a Pumpkins I I'm just ice coffee especially during the summer just give me some iced coffee injected into my veins Usually we'll. We'll make coffee at home but you know sometimes put that mask on and you know hand sandy ready and go to get an iced coffee and Sani Well, you know Halloween you know with all pumpkin spice everywhere Halloween and Thanksgiving can't be too far behind by the way what's Halloween GonNa look like I mean Masks. Great. But and we are outside when we retreat, you know if you have kids trick or treating. So I guess outside masks to bonus things. But then you have to actually interact with people and they give you candy not a really good look so. Halloween will be interesting this year and what about Thanksgiving? Like how are you going to have the family over for meals when they've they're not gonNA come and like that's not gonNA. Happen. I. I literally have not thought I'm sorry to interrupt you. I have not thought about. The basically the lack of a macy's Thanksgiving parade until just this moment and oh I and I'm really sad about. By by the way, I've I've actually had because I a couple of weeks ago I was. I you know how you you fall into. Google. Whole rabbit hole and I started to search I'm like well is the macy's parade going to happen and their official website had no information about this year show. and. So I started searching for information about lake marching bands will the marching bands be there and then I found something that basically said. None of the marching bands are going to be there all know. So marching bands are gone and there was some alleged rumor about how it's just GonNa be like a modified parade with like maybe clowns and some small balloons, clouds and small balloon that sends dreadful. But it's like there's mean clearly the parade if it exists watch be incredibly modified and what about the dog show the national dog show that comes on after Thanksgiving Day parade how's that going to happen? Yeah, that's tough so Anyone that I will I I assume hopefully knock on wood that there will be NFL. Games going on because the NFL as of now is is still planning to go forth with season without any fans or with limited fans I should say But yeah. Somebody the dog show. Yeah. At football in the middle of like flu season shirt. That's just. Listen, Keith we still have some big releases. That's that's the one silver lining. I should say is that there are still some big releases going on some big albums. Obviously there will be big single releases with I feel like we've had a huge Lee. Eventful summer in terms of single and album releases, which has been pretty cool that they're still tough stuff for us to talk about throughout summer and there will be things. To talk about this fall. So let's start with some of the big albums that we know have a release date. In are officially coming as far as we know, and then we'll kind of get into the question marks the albums that are rumored to becoming there have been in the works for years and might materialize this fall you never know. We are now past the grammy eligibility period. So whatever we're talking about is not going to be up for a twenty twenty one grammy award but maybe twenty, twenty two which feels forever away but you never know yeah. Sochi, let's talk about. Big Sean. Detroit to which I have heard part of I think is really great. Coming out September fourth. And I. It's interesting because big sean is someone that has a huge fan base obviously. Has Never had the kind of critically acclaimed album, but I think that. We'll see how this album performs, but I know people are very excited about that one, and then later in September, we have a couple of albums Max of sweet but psycho fame and he been coming on September eighteenth. Any thought any thoughts on on any of those big Sean of Amax Keith urban just in terms of they I see char perspective I I, feel like they're sort of the prelude to the storm. Just. The early indications of might becoming I. Think it's been a long time coming for Max. So it's great to see that she's dropping album after sweet butts psycho and the successive kings and Queens. I'm not particularly a huge like hip hop aficionados Jason is so I take his word strongly when he suggests that Big Sean is one to watch. In terms of this album, it's definitely a kind of high-profile hip hop album. Yeah. So just very quickly. So is something else coming in September two chains so help me God, which is am a big chains guy. So I have high hopes for that album.

"Would say you're probably right on that because kylie murray is a quarterback and if quarterbacks show up and perform and provide excitement in their first year they typically win well colin murray's the complete package i mean this is the same carla marie that john luton looked at as well as a potential drafty you know and and this past year draft yeah so kinda murray is a day once daughter cliff kingsbury offense the thing about it is the multiple you know would would distress defense is horizontally and vertically that arizona had it allow it allow mary has some early success and then he has a quick release release but he's short talk he's able to find his targets on point you know he's been all around stuck as it pertains to salvaging the arizona cardinals organization whether it's trying to get them into a respectable conversation as as a team so when i look at kinda murray and what he's done all act to do as a quarterback with little to no opportunities for him to throw the ball atop nice nice target i mean look this guy that definitely gotta be lead the pack out i'm looking at john jacobs absolutely i look josh jacobs because if if you look at the people who their last three the last running backs that won this award were saquon barkley alvin kamara and tiger balm the offense at rookies of the year but other last we went to win the award so if josh jacobs who has a very very very to win rookie of the year i agree with you i think you do have to play here but he has to get over one hundred yards and score touchdowns in the last couple of games if you're gonna make a strong case because the fact that you'd miss todd has probably that's hurricane which is why the number one guy like he wants was it'd it'd be probably in the first four or five games of the season where we saw really have that burst but at the same time the fact that he can catch the ball yet actually boss racking skills which have been able enabled him to be successful i mean he he knocked it out the park when it comes to short yardage gains in short yard touchdown this the kid definitely special the thing about it is when i look at the combination of his size agility and strength young guy to be the number one guy when he went coming out of alabama he was probably about a third option this is a remarkable qabail stretch and the way that john grew brought him along even from the from camp training camp preseason into the regular season has been absolutely remarkable and i had to give a lot of credit to that coaching staff because they didn't pile too much on him to show they allow him to fill this place gradually and that's why they're so successful and unfortunately he suffered a couple of injury a couple of games but i just in its totality tabiti when i look at josh jacobs if tyler murray halves the fall off in the next two james wish that there is a chance you can because he's going up against the rams on the road in LA and the rams defense at home it's usually done pretty well in jobs jacobs has the game the last two games i should say that might propel him to get to the number one slot and wendy war you also have another running back behind him and david montgomery gunnery who's also been a key factor with the the bears offense so you have to look at that hollywood brown so what can i say the rain without a top dog you gotta array quarterback in in lamar jackson guarantee you he won't people the guy can catch and run on outside he has a great fit for the deep ball he gained a a lot of lamar jackson confidence in shorts that he can't catch the ball route hollywood brown's number four but at the same time he's still a top notch wide receiver so it depends we'll see what happens i mean i think when you look at the class asset he's that josh jacobs he's an elite class i mean around at the top ten got in kill harry out of the wide receiver the the patriots decay metcalf from the seahawks you got to weigh half the quarterback of the washington team no offense to tidy in the denver broncos and their parents campbell campbell wide receiver from indianapolis colt so we'll see what happens but i think i agree with you i think if you put josh jacobs in a position to be successful in these next two games which is absolutely opportunity to do that you're playing the los angeles chargers okay in LA is probably going to be a raider home game at dignity health sports part i'll be right or home okay why not show up you so you're on the road against the broncos the week after right way to finish right way finish yeah and we've seen the way july has played so so from the last time we spoke to now who knows what version of drew lock you'll get from denver if you get the version that played this past week against the chiefs the raiders have assure fire shot of beating adding the broncos and possibly move to nine seven eight eight on the twenty thousand nine season and last season and oakland well here's the thing may when i look at you don't know which for the rivers you're gonna on a jet when you're playing the chargers on sunday because what for the river's going to get the last few games have proven the philip rivers either the turnover machine if you look at the last game when the chargers play the raiders in oakland he turned the ball over in the fourth quarter was allowed the raiders to be successful get w so to me i think the writers have an advantage because they put enough pressure on philip rivers kind of cloud his reading you know as far no how does certain reach confuse him a bit at they did an oakland that week when they want when the raiders won twenty six twenty four back on november two seven i think you have a great opportunity to dominate dominate that win and then you would have swept the charges so that's the positive i think also to your your dare cars going to have have to be a much better derek carr he's going to be there call that we saw against the cincinnati bangles that they are going to have to see this week because when i look could derek carr he is not is not is supposed to be rainy but not supposed to be cold their car and performing and wet weather you can't do well in cold weather he's proven that get the jet kansas city he's he's he's did terrible whether it's not affecting i expect the raiders to win this game against the chargers i think they have to beat the chargers and they they go through seventy eight but the thing about it is derek carr has to be careful of the charges defense space can say what you want about the offense but the defense is still signing is still have got like darwin jiang's who can move hothouse you have guys like on the bookies it's named melvin ingram and joey bosa we're going to be hungry and licking their finger at their cars especially after the film they're gonna watch this week after the the the raiders lost jack watch and how dare cart before then you're gonna have thomas davis thing is you're gonna have dinsdale on the inside you still got casey hayward adrian phillips guys like that who could still perform at a high level so that defense against brad is going to be pressuring derek carr dr majority of the game so your derek carr you gotta make sure wanting line gonna make sure his stand up and show now the to you get opportunities for josh jacobs if you're gonna continue to play jace give john shaka's opportunity to see the holes and get through those holes so you can keep the change moving if your debit card oregon opportunity to go back in the launch it up in the backfield for him to catch it out of the backfield and run and run his route and get the first down and and more with dr not get a chance inch to keep the change move because the problem is going to be is they're going to have enough time to get the ball aw because that's going to pressure all game on and they're not gonna let up contrary contrary to popular belief on sunday the vikings the the the charges defense did play bad it was the charges call offense that play back if forced seven turnovers something that had been done by minnesota vikings team i might add last twenty five years so it wasn't aww it wasn't the defense that play the awesome so if you're the chargers defense you're the raiders offense you pay attention to their charter decent 'cause those a bunch it's a hungry young lions over here in veteran lines i should say they're hungry and they're yeah pissed off in their mac so how do you see the charges in raiders much shaping up on sunday i agree with you you don't know what type of sober review again but with the way the raiders offensive line has played they'd this season and with mixed with the young talent as you mentioned that the chargers have along that defensive front a could prove difficult for derek carr because derek carr has performed up and down this game he could perform like he did in cold weather against the the jets but that was in cold weather or he could perform mikey to last time against the chargers where when twenty one to thirty one for two hundred eighteen yards in the black hole he was only sacked three times in that game but the warriors barely squeaking out twenty six to twenty four and that was in oakland i mean i see based upon that previous performance i see i can see the chargers winning especially in in LA even though there's going to be large contingent of oakland fans raider nation in the stadium because they have a problem join fans in LA but that's beside the point either that's like a home game raiders dearly victory the first time now as they ride a four game losing streak into l. aig they'll be hungry by against a team like the chargers you cannot afford to blaney tapped the bed.

"Rushing yards only given up ninety. Eight point four yards rushing They're giving up two hundred eighty three point two yards which is still damn near last in the League so they need to clean that up there. Averaging Twenty six point seven points per opponent of giving up that those type of points for defense. So they've they've got definitely clean at the numbers that are Reggie previously were the numbers for the Aussies. They're actually Scoring Twenty one twenty three point. One points per game to Sixteenth Sixteenth League They're averaging about three engine seventy yards which is fourteenth in a league rushing yards averaging almost one hundred thirty yards which is as thanks to. They're actually passing two hundred and forty point two yard fifteenth in the League which is about mid range which is probably anyway where they should be Being they're five and four so only upward for the offense defense lot more question marks will see within the next week. So there's no excuse while the raiders should not come out victorious against the the Cincinnati Bengals and then next we'll even any Dalton is even starting for the bengals either so you know it definitely be a win for Oakland if by eight points right now but that that should go up. Well Yeah I mean. Listen when they're trying to I think the Cincinnati Bengals on team tank moat. They're trying to get the number one spot especially now that the Miami Dolphins of won their first game of the season. They're the SONETTI. Bangles are pretty much in the driver seat far being thanking the number one overall pick in the two thousand twenty. NFL draft. So I don't see them try to get a W. on purpose. I think they play. But they don't play to the level where they're supposed to because they're they're eighteen tank mode so the raiders should go ahead and continue to play phenomenal office offers of football. Hopefully the defense can gather it up. Next man up of the Dayton rally regroup and get together and go ahead and stay in gets. It's a six and four is staying contention. "SB SB nation. I am your host mccamley sitting. Yes I have a very special guest that you know what's going on this week right. You notice the big AFC west showdown between the Los Angeles chargers. Yes the Oakland Raiders. Now a lot of implications are in. This game is a lot of things going into this game. Both teams are coming off great. Win The Oakland Raiders. Coming off the win against the Detroit. Lions thirty one twenty four hours Sunday as well as the Los Angeles chargers defeating the Green Bay Packers Twenty six to eleven ironically both teams coming off wins against NFC north opponents. Figure that out gotta take the NFL for that one right anyway. What got a great special guest as come on? He's covered the NFL for many years. Most notably he's the chargers team reporter and he's a host of charges weekly. The park cast as well as backstage charges where he can be heard every Sunday in Los Angeles. Okay M. Five seventy on iheartradio APP. He's the one and only knowledgeable man himself Chris Harris. What's going on Chris? How're you doing man? Nick Hawaii Man. Good to talk to you good to have you on man. So let's first of all before we get into the whole. AFC West showdown. Let's talk a little bit about you. How did you get started in the business in becoming a NFL reported in elevating to now where you are where you pretty much? You're the you're the guy. You're all charges. Yo Man. It's my path to To here has been and wild really I I worked as Bush. Twenty years started as radio station. DC and Actually worked as director of sponsorships for the Lakers. I for nine years so I was doing something slightly different within the sports realm but I've been with the team with the charge about three years now. I got my start doing the redskins way back in the day so has been great to to be in this market covering the NFL and they cover and some other sports to do some stuff on a on KCBS in cal-. But I'm excited for this game nick because this is a this is the chargers. Raiders mentioned that. We haven't had in awhile. You know. That the raiders have been down and it just seems like these two teams both are in prime position to try to make some noise during the back half after the season. You've got Jon. Gruden in the mix in his second year The last game of the black hole for the chargers. So there's a lot of intriguing in story lines on a short week. I know both teams are probably not happy that they got a to travel on a short week but nonetheless it's GonNa be a great batch in the AFC west. You know the charges. A quick flight is a one hour flight straight up and it's not bad Ogle Orange County to open does not that bad but yeah you mentioned a lot. A different storylines a lot of different scenarios. That come across the raiders into charges on me. This goes back to the days when they would charge even back in San Diego. So it's interesting thing. How this at the final game in Oakland for the Los Angeles chargers play the raiders? In I remember Mel Gordon speaking about this on Monday. How you know he was happy he made a joke and he was saying how happy he was? They finally had some real grass. Matt getting tackled. Landing on is how running that you finally get if some real grass in in a year that. You're about to leave of your the Oakland Raiders of. What does that mean? What does that you got the charter players about? Just playing the last John in Oakland against that rivalry between the chargers and the raiders. There's a lot of young guys on the team that you haven't been around as long but then you look in a guy like Philip rivers. Who's eighteen and eight? All Time against the raiders. He's got a lot of battles against Oakland up at Oakland since two thousand four more. So I think it's a it's probably a mixed bag in the locker room in terms of what this what this game kind of means from like a sentimental standpoint. But you know this is going to be a vegas. La Rivalry move forward. So I think really the the team is focused on trying to get a win. They've only had one game in the AFC US so far against the broncos which they lost so this two game winning streak breeds a little confidence charge. You get the four or five if five. AFC West Games go three in a row. Actually starting with the raiders in the chiefs of Mexico City then a by before they go to Denver so they WANNA get on a a a nice. I start here against the raiders. And they start the back half of the season now. The raiders are equally is hungry because ironically the writers are second place in the AFC west. Just ahead of the Los Angeles. But I will tell you this much. If you're the charges defense you better be on guard for Derek Carr. Because there are truly found his rhythm he's come on. I mean last several games. He's he's thrown he's only had one. I N T he's at success downs thrown if you if you saw the game on Sunday to two hundred WPRO in Atlanta Dr. He's been absolutely amazing he he's been the Derek Carr we haven't seen in the last two and a half years so it's only going to continue in any other the spark of of the team. I like to call the engine of the offense. Is Josh Jacobs. I mean he rushed for one hundred twenty yards two touchdowns I mean. He's been absolutely fantastic. How how do the chargers who've had a history of having problems stopping the run on a consistent basis? How do they contain or neutralize? Josh Jackson Yours to Mason. Well one they did lesson against the packers. These need to continue that. I mean that's that's easiest thing to say but I think the pass rush for the chargers that's the strength. I thing you'd be hard pressed veteran. Duo Joey. Bosa and Melvin Ingram. especially the way Joey Bosa was playing at this point Melvin. Ingram is quite a coincidence. He was out for three weeks. Charge lost three games. He's backed me one last two. So you WANNA force the raiders in the third long situations. What does that mean? That means. Stop Josh Jacobs off first and second down making making Derek Carr uncomfortable. But it's easier said than done. You alluded to shake of has not been in this magic before. He's a rookie. He's playing well and he is kind of that engine right now for that offense really Kinda dictates the performance of Car and Hal fishing. He's been to have a running game like that so the charges are going to have to stop Jacobs. I and the raiders in the third long situations and And then let boasted Ingram kind of their years back and go so so. That'll be the game plan. I I look at this charge team last week. And it really mirrors the twelve and fourteen last year. They didn't turn a football over. They won the time of possession and And and when you do that you do the things on a weekly basis You're GONNA have a chance to win a lot of football games. Now when I look at the Raiders Wide Receivers look at Sarah Williams. WHO's very familiar with the chargers? He was with the chargers organization for quite a long time But then I look at guys like Hunter Renfro. Oh look at guys like that. What type of challenges do those guys present? So the secondary of the chargers who are also still without their top about safety in Darwin. James Saves a great question. And we're about to find out. Tyrone Williams is no stranger to the secondary vice versa. Like you think about it. Nikki like who has the advantage advantage here. Does this tyrel heavy managed. Because he knows Casey Michael Davidson and some of those guys in the secondary were do Do the DB's of the chargers have an advantage because they know Whoa Tyrell does. So I mean I think you can go on the way Taros a fantastic player and I know. He's got a lot of fans in the chargers locker room on a Renfro Rookie charges haven't seen before but Davante Adams came back last Sunday for the packers for the first time in four games charging a fantastic job of bottling up Aaron Aaron Rodgers lead passing tax. So sometimes you just gotta you gotTa ride the wave and sometimes things click for for a defense The rushing cover her work together so I can't emphasize enough for the chargers. If they're going to stop those those weapons on the outside they got get pressure on car forced him to make quick decisions any potential mistakes and you you mentioned those stats. He hasn't made a lot of mistakes. So that that's why the charges need to pass rush going maybe force car into some some errands throws and You know we'll just see what happens. I I really think this is a fascinating match. Is The chargers head. Struggled mightily for four weeks weeks and Kinda got their groove back last Sunday. So we'll I mentioned this continues on a short week or the one thing I will say about Jon. Gruden how he's is being able to coast especially on the offense out of the bomb and you have hunter Renfro. And you have Darren Waller. He likes to jam it down your throat. Wherever he those guys going against Jammed down their throats in end to me. When I look at you know tyrod Williams I look at their and while I look at hundred win for I'm looking at three guys at saying okay? These guys can actually match up very well against that stead charter secondary and I look at it like okay. This is a team that can definitely result no preserved obscenely present some problems so that charges secondary insanity sustained for all four quarters because one thing about it. These guys can tire you out at any. He give point. We saw against the lions. We saw them against the host. A bake entire you ought to any point in time. What is what is Gus? Bradley have to do to preserve not so much. The energy reserves the the feel Vision as far as when it comes to the chargers secondary in being able to sustain themselves for all four quarters of to become betrays. These will again we go back to. Jessie Jacobs is harsh with modeling him. Up Jon Gruden offense into a rhythm you know. They're going to go up and down the field in in the chargers. Nee can't allow Josh Jacobs to get healthy. Doses of yardage win with the raiders are in seconds short were third and short. That's not what the charges you're going to need The formula for success is the model run and rush those those pass rushers Russian both Senate and grow and you bring up a guy. We didn't talk about yet. Waller Dare Waller has been a nice surprise for the the raiders. And just like this tight end match nick. I'm I'm really intrigued. By as well Hunter Henry Versus Darren Waller under. Henry's played fantastic football from the charges of the last four week for weeks..

"Scott winner got a jam packed show for you all this week as we go behind the scenes on what happened in Minnesota against the Vikings also talk about the last two contests against the chiefs as well as the opening night against the broncos in where the raiders end up in the next few weeks will get into also the status of Jonathan Jonathan Abrahams in Whistle Jalen Ramsey. Is he going to become a raider gone the silver and black was he. GonNa stay back in be held captive in Jacksonville in view. We'll get into that and much more here on a turf the silver and black term what's going on with. Scott how you doing man well after yesterday on I'm as good as can be expected following a a another something of the Oakland Raiders yes. That's a that's a nice way of putting it. I'm more in concert as more like a book kicking of sorts because listen the raiders will bite as fast as the second one legged man and ask unconscious yesterday. They were completely blown. They at one point. It was twenty one to nothing. I said they need to give up the space. We need to invoke the man who rules in give up the stakes because they were down twenty one. Nothing visually fail thirty four fourteen as the final now. One thing I will say is the fact that there were Ladda. Penalties didn't get called in this game that went that the raiders had opportunities artillery's the cashier because of a lot of those penalties will call the raiders would have been would have been in the game and I don't think they would occur twenty one to nothing there was one that was a couple of the worst one with Derek Carr got. I mean damn near got. His head knocked on debt that wasn't a panel in which he should've been roughing the passer and was automatic yards but that it you call amongst other. It'll be that. I'm sure you go to share with us. That means that Derek Carr really didn't have bad no lot of people wanNA crap on Derek Carr and they said all heat inflation and I get it right what he did finish twenty seven to thirty four for two hundred and forty two yards. TD's one I N T he sec four times that was the key to me and that in the representation nations making Derek Carr with the strength of the all of the old line for the Oakland raiders in that's that's to me is something that needs to be addressed addresses. We talked about this even before the season started is that the Oakland raiders in that old line is going to have to show up and be strong enough to give their car time enough in the pocket to get the ball off to his receivers in his target and if he can't do that that he's gone out a long season and he's GonNa be probably sacked probably a good twenty to thirty times this season if not more because of the lack of of of protection from his own yeah there there was some there was some issues there with the protection breakdowns and it also affected some of his hot reads dear cars off reads as they had to stay in a block in some occasions that being said a lot of it had to to do with the SAX were coming in a position where the defense already a tough one playing at home or they're sixteen and two and their new stadium they were up and you know that the that the raiders had make some plays head to head though the ball a little bit more four and so they were able to you know pick it picket line. I down and play you know over the top so you know some some of those recovered sex in in that situation which falls you know you. Try to try to call a game and you get down by that. What kind of a score then you have to open up your offense to me. Is kind of a you fall into the trap that you're hoping they fall into you. That's the way Jon Gruden likes to call his game. He likes to get ahead and then sit on that and your defense. You know plays a certain way so that you know you force them into. Do you know a more limited playbook and that's that's a classic thing that happened to the raiders yesterday. Absolutely isn't the thing about it is when I look at the raiders and I look at we look at this roster in this was before Antonio Brown is after after Antonio Brown and we saw what they did against the Denver Broncos. They show lack them. I mean tyrod Williams on a whole `nother level in he played absolutely out of his mind. Writer defense stepped up like I said before the raiders only gave up two big plays in the fourth quarter with what they were a good team or cost them a game name but fortunately they were able to hold it down and they were able to do get the victory and then we saw them against the Kansas City chiefs at at home once again and we saw them up ten nothing and they played extremely play the same way they played against the Denver. broncos were affected. They were vision offense defense against special teams. They were up ten nothing at the end of the first war then I look up their their downtown seven and then all of a sudden Pat Mahomes of refresh can of whoop ass in the next next thing we know they scored twenty unanswered points against decent now no Jonathan Abrams is out for the year. Honestly he won't be back until the raiders become Las Vegas Raiders Raiders but at the same time you still have the markets joyner. You still have a lot of other guys young in that secondary. You still have a nice different. There's no excuse the way that the raiders played yesterday against a team like the Minnesota Vikings which is love kirk cousin Kirk cousins demon over. Bee's no question about that. Steven is a problem. Dalvin Cook went off a sixteen seen carrying a hundred and ten were texting. You live down cooked down like it was it was not like he was a Ginsu. The Dalvin they made now look at the second coming Barry Sanders in that was appalling for that defense and then I look on the other side of the ball when I'm looking at the the running game for the Oakland Raiders and I'm looking at Josh Jacobs who declined in the last COUPLA games the only ten jerry's for forty four yards and was found. It was shut out of the end zone. That's a problem if you can't get your running game going and you can't get the receiver core going on a consistent basis then you have a serious problem. Look Jon Gruden for that I mean. Jj Nelson had a touchdown Tara Williams at a nice touch down in an hour no other contributions known contributions but Adam feeling there no answer fathom dealing and that's going to be a problem moving for because you're gonNA face otherwise receive other top notch wide receivers on the schedule and if you can't contain them Lo and behold they're going to have a tough time in the AFC AFC west. I'm just talking about beyond the AFC west. The raiders have a problem of consistency offense defense. It's it's a problem there one in two four reason they'll real used to say you know you. You are what you earn and in this case. The raiders are what they earned. there is absolutely no doubt about that. there was some issues you know that that and this is not excuse making because you know the the we've heard that enough. Marquel Lee went down early. Who whose real good runs thumper you know perfect was banged up a little bit in out they were? They were playing This is a play calling and personnel scenario. I saw Lamarcus joyner on the sidelines. It seems more often than I saw him in the lineup which you know you went out and got this guy you're paying them all this money and you know he spends he spends half time time not even out there and I get your wanting to matchup personnel. I'm not to criticism is not that you're doing certain things with personnel. The criticism is is that you're doing things with personnel and it's not working all right so you know you have to give a coach. You know the the leeway to be able to do those kind of things but yet you know it started off with Phantom Phantom holding you know that that that turn to stop into you know a ninety yard. Dr Then there was another holding penalty area pass interference won the there were so many penalties that kept drives alive that that went against the raiders defense that I would say that to me what I saw that if they didn't have those penalties all of us that defense looks really good you know because it shuts down twenty one points in my opinion from what I saw so you know that's self inflicted at the at the end of the day you know what the hell only had seventy yards you know so they did find it. Find an answer for it or was that an answer simply because Dalvin Cook was going so you got to look at that point of view too. It's like you know they shut down to run because mahomes is is just firing everything up yeah. They didn't need to run in this case. They didn't need to pass they just they just gave you a good daily. Dose of Dalvin Cook Kevin Cook is actually this this disturbed one hundred yard rushing season in and he tore up a Green Bay as well even though in the loss but he tore up Atlanta China and they beat they won that game so Darwin Cook. I'm not saying he's Barry Sanders but he certainly proving his worth his draft. Pick status no but the but the biggest thing is so many different play calling scenarios you see the momentum minimum changing you see the raiders only add by sometime in the second quarter twenty two yards offense. Mike come home then at one point at one point. I think think I think Minnesota had point one points. In the raiders had twenty one yards. I mean that you've got an offensive offensive group as your coach and they're still dinking and Duncan down feel drew me to me. There's there's one play and I want to talk about this. One play and this is not to just pile onto dare carcass. There's a lot of blame to go around. Oh it's second and six. It's it's second and six Derek Carr forces a ball that sales to his tight end forces it over. It gets picked off now. The things that that I look at on that play all of the things that went wrong your car number one has has time he might he might have felt his internal clock going off. I understand that but he had time he could've reloaded loaded recollect. He had Darren Waller break open to his left. which would you know and there would have been and yardage. Jaren waller had a fantastic game three biggest bright spot for the raiders. you know. I mean most yards from a tight end all season so far the young season so he was he was hot. All four receivers ran short routes on that play all four of them and to you know I don't understand that you've got a man who's got golden arm as your quarterback. I mean as far as arm talent in this League Derek cars accuracy on deep balls as you can compare with anybody anybody 'cause. That's how accurate demands but where where's where's the deep throat well. I mean at least one guy man. You know you got outside guys. They're all they're all throwing outs else. You've got an out route on waller and then you've got this. Little Weird seem route. I it seems like that that other other types running and that's where he tried to force the ball number two it was second in six. There didn't seem to be any urgency to try had a force that throw I get it. If it's fourth down and you gotTa make that point you gotTa make that play you force up fine okay. I'll say you know what that's that's a perfect play if you miss it so what at least you tried but it's not for down. It's second down and six you. There's always the option option of nobody else was open. Even though waller was you throw the ball away. Y where where's that option. I've seen too many quarterbacks. They see that they see that scenario radio. They say hey the Minnesota read it right. They played it right. Oh yeah absolutely did not taking any credit away from Minnesota on this play but you gotta throw the ball away then you don't force that that you don't force that when you know that the angles bad and and you know you missed your shot because he was open for just a hair and you get it there boom. You know you're you're looking at. Possibly I out but that play sums up the offense that I've seen in the first three games. It's it's not just their car but there is is some things for their car you the protection was was bad enough that they his hot read running back had to stay in blocked.

"I'm your host the one and only Nick Hamilton. I have a very special guest on the line. That's right. She is the Emmy Award winning. NFL network work reporter she covers all things raiders she's always up in Oakland and throughout the entire bay area. She's the one and only MJ Acosta what's going on Mj how you doing thanks for having me on. Thanks for coming on. No you've been busy lately especially with all the drama that's been going on in Raider nation so we definitely GonNa get into that but first and foremost I need to. I want to ask you about this now. The coaching of this raiders team seems to be an unusual way of coaching. I'm you have so many diverse diverse personalities from Antonio Brown's dairy cards avantis birthday to some of the rookies that have come in How do you see his team being coached differently than what it was coach last season with Jon Gruden you know I think there's just a deeper sheriff deeper investment if you will because has so many of the guys were hand picked by Gruden on May off and they've been very clear and very open about the team that they are building on together either so I think that plays a whole lot into how they're coaching the team and what their vision of the team is when you say the vision of the team because it seems to me like I was watching hard knocks you've been watching hard knocks two n even leading up to hard knocks? The funniest thing Jon Gruden said was that hey we're not here to bill. Oh dreams gray hit a crush drinks rian. You gotTA crush the next man's dreaming are found ultimately a Larry's. Is that really what he's the message that he's disseminating amongst the the various players as far as the ones that are on the team the ones that are on the bubble possibly making the team yeah. I think what they're trying to create is a sort of a rebuilt reputation so not only going back to you know the the Oakland Raiders of your but also time that into the new identity the Ruben Riera if we will so what they want is for people to be afraid to go up against them to like ten we gotta go up against the raiders this week and have that kind of reputation around the League to be the team to beat now. That's obviously didn't take a little bit to get to that point but when you see these guys that he's bringing in the personalities analysis he's bringing in sort of that. Fear lists like I don't care what it takes. I'M GONNA go out there and destroy you. that's definitely what they're going for. No no recently Mike like Mayo came on took a very strong stance against this whole Cillian my opinion helmet issue Antonio Brown I said This was nothing but a distraction because I felt like that a lot of the players who did not like the changing over to the new helmets such Tom Brady and several others did not like it. They went ahead and changed over anyway. Antonio Brown had the kick screen fight scratch claw in make to me over overzealous seen gene about this helmet in got so out of hand where we saw a clip of Mike mayock saying that you know what either all in or all out how real was that in how how long did it take so might make anybody else in your raider organization to be fed up with all of Antonio Brown's antics thus far so so here's the uh-huh and I and I went back and forth of this in my mind it was all unfolding because it's just a lot of moving parts on a lot of pieces consider I understand in in principle what he's fighting for and how important it is and that he needs to how you know I get that I get home especially. This piece of equipment is so I understand extend the fight and end the raiders did chew. They were super supportive one hundred percent on board think we're he lost people. Especially mayock was not showing up to that practice because he was upset about it that to me is just like okay. No and Mike Mayock said it white clearly. This is not what we do you know so he was really quite kind of nip that in the bud and the next day Abe was there and he's been there since then so I think it was really smart of Mayo and I think it spoke volumes. The fact that he went straight to the beat reporters he said this on the record very clearly didn't take questions and said the they're not like this. This is what's happening until I think that was that was the point. I don't think they were upset about it. Before by once it starts to affect production and you take it upon yourself just not to be there that anybody would be upset and may not playing in games in the streets. I Ki- knows that as the first year GM coming in with all of these is on this team. He wants to make sure that what he's building is right right and that it starts off right so he was about that like oh absolutely I mean listen. I was not one hundred percent on board when the Raiders Acquired Tonio Brown because we saw what he didn't Pittsburgh and I said this is only the tip of the iceberg. I say this is the kind of guy you want in your locker room with younger guys around and the type of example that you want to say everybody crush me told me I was a raider hater. I wasn't given Antonio a fair shake. Okay fly given him a fair shake. Now we go through these antics. Do you see Antonio Brown wants to get once he gets past helmet issue. Do you foresee any type of any other antics that he may be able to throw into into the mix throughout the course of the season I mean I can't imagine what else there could be. You know I mean I think the foot injury was it just a freak accident. Unfortunately it just sucks that was sort of out of his control. The helmet thing again like I said I understand it to a point. and I think talk did exactly what he needed to do to make sure that he that that was stopped immediately and he's good. He's been back with the team. I do ultimately and this is okay. I'm GonNa just like green slate new team New Year like I really WanNa see what progresses here without putting in too much of of of the Antonio Brown steelers situation so call me an optimist shore but I I really think that he does does care I don't I don't think you can be somebody who has that caliber of talent and that competitive and not actually care you know I think he does care for more than more than people realize but it all has to come together right like it can't just be a piecemeal type of situation so I'm anxious more than anything for the season to start so we can see this full rhythm and the full team the starters who makes the rosters with Antonio Brown out in there and how that involves on the field. I've always said I thought Antonio Brown pile the pant was the best wide receiver in and when they got him on paper thought it make the raiders incredibly better thought it's Tippin enormous amount of pressure off of Derek Carr as far as his ability to perform inputting all on him instead of spreading the responsibility around evenly. I love the wide receiver core with tyrod Williams Royal Brown. How does Derek Carr deal with all of this now? How does Riccar move forward? I mean that's his guy I mean when when Antonio Sogno shout of day one endemic like they were old friends like they grew up together but you did hear a lot from Derek Carr throughout the entire helmet issue in all the things that transpired transpired what is the mentality of Derek Carr now moving forward as he finishes out you know going through the process of preseason getting ready for the regular season America's been ready laid back about everything in that in terms of the headlines when it comes to this stuff on the field he's been as focused and as in control as I've ever seen him throughout his career so I will say that in my observation observations on it I think they're gets what the bigger picture is here are and what they can really do. They get on on the field and you'll be able to spread the ball around. They had they be. They have tyrel. I think Josh Jacobs is going to be incredible as a running out of the backfield for this team so I think he gets that he's seeing what the the big picture is a for this team and the pieces that they have now yeah that's what he's focused on more than anything else as the beach really absolutely because we all know whether people want to admit it or not this do a die year for Derek Carr. Derek Carr doesn't get the job done he will not you'll be stuck on the tarmac in Oakland International Airport. You will not going across state lines farm sir but you know you never know we'll see when well look at the rest of his writer team I mean would you look at I love the fact of how the raiders especially Jon Gruden is taken care of Joss asked Jacobs out of Alabama rookie running back e kind of bring him all along slowly but Wendy you see a web point is Josh Jacobs. Take a lump sum of the the responsibilities of running back in is this how long is the learning curve voice blast coming into the regular season Josh Jacobs. I think he's GonNa get it very. He quickly one of the things that Josh said even early on we're talking like minicamp. Ota's time was how surprised he was with how quickly he was able to pick up the playbook and the offense and from what we've seen out at training camp practices leading up to these preseason games he's shown sort of his his. I Q has offensive. Iq here in getting what Gruden wants him to do and what this whole scheme is so I think he'll he'll catch on really quickly. He'll be able quite right literally to hit the ground running in this aspect I have tremendous hopes for him and I think that he will be able to deliver. You've been in training training camp every day. you've gone through the ringer. I felt like M. J. was out there kind of going through some of the routes in going through summit around because you've done exquisite job bars reporting I'm being narrow on the field getting great you know a video and photos of what's going on kind of bringing everyone into nation abreast of what's going on who is on the bubble on in in your estimation as far as making it team we all know cuts coming within the next week or so who was on the bubble who has a great opportunity to to make the squad. Oh man here so here's the good thing coming out of this camp there. It's a lot of talent James Jones and I were talking about this in in the first day of training camp up Anapa just just like you look at the roster and the guys that that are working for jobs on this team..

"ABC's relation is so important because you don't WanNa miss that dynamic up. You don't want people thinking about things other than and football at this point 'cause this is it. The regular season is upon us and the raiders have an opportunity to leave Oakland in style. You know I get it. You know we could talk to were blue in the face over the situation but the reality is this is the last season in Oakland and end the raiders in my opinion as an organization would do it would be the greatest thing as as a last gesture to the fans of this team made the playoffs if especially if it made it in such where they had a home playoff game so that that so that you know there's there's just the extra flavor at the end of the season because you're talking about the schedule. The early part of it December is his brutal December. You're at the cheeks starting up. You got you got the titans come in to the coliseum the next week and the titans are no joke now. The raiders have had their number over the last few years but they are tough team. They just played tough there. You know you got the Jaguars. We don't know what they're going to be. We don't know what kind of team the Jaguars are gonNA beat but if Nick foles is hitting on all cylinders well we know what Nick foles can do the raiders then you got the charges they go down to Los Angeles. They go down to play the chargers and then they finish up in in in Denver at Mile High. Whatever you WANNA call it sports authority? I don't remember what the name is Louis. You know what I'm talking about yeah exactly and Denver Yeah. They're going to be tough. That's a tough game on a road to finish the season you know so oh for Oakland perfer the fans in Oakland the last game in Oakland right now is is is the fifteenth of December so it would be a nice treat to see them. You know either squeaking into the playoffs or at least have a home game you know but but we'll see well speaking of what will C- come in the season coming up on the other side of the break we have the one and only the NFL reported insider. MJ Constantly Emmy Award winning breaks down some things concerning the Oakland raiders and what she's up to as a reporter with that reporter live coverage various themes including the Oakland raiders will get into a little bit of what she's into as well as should give us some insight on the Oakland raiders.

"I'll say the last thing. The raiders. How will the fans and we got about thirty seconds. So I ask you this question. How will the fans be receiving the raiders this year knowing that this is their final year in Oakland the city that where they started came back and now they're leaving again this time for good? How do you feel like the Rams will receive him week one Colorado fans received one? I think it's gonna be a bittersweet. I think they're going to be excited. But ultimately how the season progresses. I if they're competitive or not is really gonna tell the tell and my pension darkening, I think, so too. I think it's going to be interesting to see how not so much week one but week nine week ten as it gets closer to nearing the end of the season especially if they don't make the playoffs this year. Yeah. Yeah. How they respond. We'll raider fans start to stay away and said, you know what? I'm not coming to the last guy. All were they come out in droves for the very last game last home game I should say at Oakland Alameda Coliseum. But whatever it's called these days. I'm more inclined to think that. Are they might be fifty fifty? They might stay away. You know, we saw that happen with the chargers when they will leave in San Diego. A lot of charger fan sold their tickets to raider fans with that was the last home game at Qualcomm was against the writers and that's why I was almost like a Dan, we or raider home game. Because it has so many raider fans because they got they bought their tickets from charger fan, so will the raider fans we sell off their tickets to the other teams fans as a protest. I don't know. I mean it happened in San Diego before they moved to LA. So will it happen in Oakland before they moved to the seven oh, two. It really. I believe it really depends on whether they're a good team or not, you know for the most part, I mean each little fans going to have to make their own choice, and it's going to be bittersweet, regardless. But if they're a good team if their playoff bound, I believe that you're going to see the fans show up. I mean with that chargers that charters team. They, they weren't playoff-bound. They weren't going anywhere. And it was, you know, of course, and that was a bitter bitter, bitter bitter fight all the way through. So you know but again two different fan bases. Two different kinds of situations. We'll see really we'll see be interesting to say absolutely with it. Will it will be bittersweet as we're going to get back with everyone next week on this same network? That is the silver, and black, pry podcast network here on SP nation. You are off the turf. "The letter half last season he had three interceptions which is pretty decent was kind of his kind of his rookie season in a way because he didn't really have an actual rookie season. I think it will approach five interceptions. This this year probably over twenty past funded and opposite him I expect wurley to start the second round tender on him. They definitely like him. He's a very aggressive corner. There really liked what he brings table. A he he got some criticism of his coverage last year. But I lot of that you really can't blame him too much for the fact that he that the corners were having to do what they do without any pass rush. And so the pass rush improves expected to improve. I do expect the pass rush to improve if only somewhat and a mulligan sit behind them learn, and and if they really like what he does they end their best secondary is are those three that they will find a way to get them on the field together. And if not at the end of the season, if if Worley balls out he lied to get another contract with the raiders Oriole go on to, you know, pastor someplace else in get paid paid there in Molineaux step into his spot. But as a good problem to have your talking about having to decide at the end of this year between Worley if he has a really good season are our Molin. I know they probably choose Mullen because it cheaper beyond Ricky deal. But. If you had those three Conley could move in and play the slot. Wore probably as well. So you have three pretty pretty good entertainment parts there. We that's really all the questions that we were going to answer. But als AO accident ex- had one other question is asking if the silver black pride staff was at rookie minicamp, and we saw there and some other stuff there. But basically to long story short we. Every year I met recommended camp. But this year, I admit it for reasons I won't go into. But you know, there's not a big window of not a big viewing window rookie minicamp. Anyway, there's not a lot you can glean from it. You get a lot more not as a windows bigger. And you can also you can really get a chance to see how the rookies are are where they are in the depth chart and whatnot more they're lining up with the with the veterans and stuff like that. So I will be the first ta in second ta in the minicam stuff like that. So they'll be a lot more to see their. I he also asked you know, about whether vendor does in just Nellis where. Were participating recommend camps. Now, I'm pretty sure those pictures, our just they're probably working out on the side for whatever reason. Maybe they're rehabbing something or just just, you know, working out generally. But no, they wouldn't it wouldn't have those guys participating rookie minicamp with all the other rookies in first-year players in what not as far as I as I understand it crow. Els injury was on the field. But they weren't doing a lot of really active stuff, which is probably why they said that it was kind of really freak freak injury. In those often are though when you tear Killys ACL's like that a lot of times, they're just they're non contact injuries there. Freaky, injuries the non contacting views of the worst use like doing something that seems perfectly normal in your knee buckles in the new done. So I've seen it in person in. It's not pretty so. I think that's the thing that pretty much wraps up. Our our mailbag podcast. "To be fair south Roberts Gruden grinder. And his earning his way, I really liked it. But I you know, I had to make that joke. I man grew out here. Cutting souls out you writer streets man is no joke. We'll get into that in just a few seconds. But first foremost, man, how you being being a minute, man. I know we've been on different podcasts throughout the silver and black pride network here on Espy nation. I know you something with Joe I did something with Joe Rico as well. What's been up, man? Well, you know, I'm been keeping my heirs the phone I've been here in so many different things, and I've been here in so many different things. I don't have the context like I used to have. But I still got friends in low places. But you know. Yeah, you know. But I mean, it's it's the things that I'm hearing. It's you see a plan you hear a plan. And then all of a sudden, you know. You get an idea the plan. Okay. They're going to draft defense because they're going to buy their offense. They went out they prioritized signing Trent Brown. They prioritize signing Williams. Those were guys two guys that they wanted to immediately. Upgrade often they went after them any be was a bonus that was kind of like a target of opportunity. And, you know, of course, Joyner was a guy that they targeted, you know, like kinda like that old cartoon John burdens talk as Paul and he says, okay, Paul there's one for you one for me one for you one for me one for you three for you one two three for me. Obviously, he's going. He's going off its wants his Turkey offense. And I'm hearing all kinds of thing. I heard it. The raiders were in it all the way to the wire on on bell. And at the last minute. The rain is deal. I heard it at a deal, boom. You know, like virus too. So I think sparsely to open up the presence, and you open up the gifts. Let's talk about tyrod Williams now for many that don't know tyrod Williams is used to the AFC west obviously play several years with the Los Angeles chargers. And in what I considered a loaded wide receiver core with Mike Williams and Keenan Atla they were loaded. So you knew that tyrel was probably going to end up testing free agency market, even we'll be talked with general manager, Tom Mesko. He kind of indicated that hey, you know, we would like that Tiro more likely because of money in situations that nature sorrows probably going unit tests in the free agent market. Of course, he did. Yes. He ended up staying in California. I I know I had the podcast with Joel Rigo. And I said that, you know, apart the tandem with Antonio Brown signing on already would be tyrel Williams because he could be a perfect number two to Antonio Brown. Is is definitely number one wide receiver at all. Even though he kinda got paid like one. But he's definitely number two. And he's a good guy. Watching him the mini years that I've covered the chargers. This one guy one thing I can't say about tyrel tyrel is a guy that he loves the game of football writer nation, a really solid wide receiver. He likes studying film work. He gets in there. He puts in one hundred percent. Impractical grooten definitely be having. I think that's one reason. Why Gruden you know is looking at him really heavy on his radar because he knew the type of player it's Jairo Williams's, especially playing time not quarterback Philip rivers. And now you're going with their core. So I mean, you have to give their Carson weapons, especially when you have Antonio Brown. Which reports we thought we knew that reports came out that he was gonna go to football Siberia, better known as the Buffalo Bills that guy recant it, and then he ended up signing on the eleventh hour with the Oakland future lost. Las Vegas writers. And so when you look at what that means to this team. I mean, having a number one wide receiver the probably the best in the game in it's on your Brown..

"I had we had what sports they still have a now Sports Illustrated, and I had my bedroom. Wallpapered with all kind of pitchers from the magazine. I take him out and tape them on wall. Mom thought I was nuts. Most those pitchers were raider pitchers and silver and black. So I would visit lies myself wearing silver and black. And you know, I used to do a lot of motivational seminars kids youth and in workplace as well. And I would always talk about, you know, the importance of visualizing things, and then you do the verbal affirmation. You put it out there in the universe. And then if you have the right work ethic behind. That than those things will become real. So I had felt that I put something out there. I had the work ethic behind it. And I created something that might have not been there. But I was able to open some doors in different areas into visting exactly and it became real. And again, you gotta have the work ethic. A lot of people talk a good game. But there's no work ethic behind so his difficult to achieve it. Then. So what I'm doing right now is I have I I know what I'm going to do. It's not about. What I want is about what I'm going to do in a matter of how in win it's going to happen. And when I'm just so tired, and I'm like, oh like is. This really worth it is it is. And I just have to put even more work, even when you don't feel like you're being rewarded right now, it's going to pay off in the future. Don't let anybody take that passion from you. You know, you you have those out there that will doubt. And I went through that in my family. I had you know, people telling me, I was wasting my time, you know, you didn't start at UNLV your last year. What do you mean you're gonna play you're going to be able to go to NFL team NFL highest level is not going to happen? You're wasting your time. Even when I went to the airport. I said I won't be back won't be back till after the season. And you know, you just you have that element out. There were you know, people will try to question the vision that you have are the passion that you have. And you know, if you put that time in that effort in and do it, and you stay optimistic, and you stay strong. Then, you know, you'll find a way to you know, to do it and being the backup. "And these people are preventing your team, but being seen by you, the consumer you the fan you the PSL Carson to sit here and watch eight games of the regular season of Oakland Raiders football. Because these politicians are being greedy of noxious, if the raiders smart, you flip it on the politicians of that what you say ends up happening, Scott. I say the writer to have a full PR blast and flip on the politicians and put the politicians feet to the fire. 'cause this is what happens if you do that. Now, everybody's looking at the politicians of the connected with a GPA and that and that that area's saying. Okay. Well, now what you guys going to cause. Remember, if I'm the writers, I'm saying, hey, I'm kinda spent maybe maybe maybe please. I'm trying to stay no kick me out in the cold cold outside. I'm trying to send. But right with this new person over here. Trying to keep me out in the cold yard losing to go to say warriors disastrous disco. Do you wanna lose the raiders year earlier than than normal? How I agree that the problem is is that the raiders have lost a PR battle on those. And it's unfortunate be by the way, they've handled it by pulling out of the negotiation when the lawsuit hit they now appear to look like they're crawling back Oakland, they appear to look like they've taken it on gen they tried all these other things they've exhausted all of their options. And now they have no choice but to give back in bed with the ex wife for another season and and for them. There are a lot of people in the bay area right now, they're immediate has been really fueling this that. If I was Oakland, I would ask to pay twenty million this year or thirty million this year. They've see that's the thing. They've lost that PR war. They've lost moral high ground because of that initial you know, what we'll go we'll go somewhere else. Well, now appears and I'm not saying that that's the case. I believe that the NFL is being very persuasive in keeping the raiders in the bay area at this point, you know, that's just my take on it. And some of the things that I've heard, but if it's a reasonable deal the raiders day, if they if they say, you know, what twenty million dollars well into seven point five, which is on table twenty million dollars. They can do that. And they would win even though just everything that you said, they would they've already won that battle in my opinion. Bear media has just absolute bonded within two. But this question because they could like ultimate powerful if the raiders get back in bed with Oakland, and let's come into some reasonable, some guess what happens get their football in a writer. So they really they. Yes. Sometimes you got to take a step back and take some steps forward. But if you if you if you if you sweet talk, the ants wife long enough, you feel actually the Queen of the world and she in and make her feel like she wanted even though she did. Which you gotta get again scare money. Don't make. No what I'm saying. Is you go you gotta do sometime. You gotta do you gotta do to get what you want. And if they do that and play out of season in Oakland inside. Well, you know, what the hell which you? I'm out due to the side and the Vegas anyway, which they're going to do. Anyway, the writers come out. I don't look like they looked like crap. But there they could come out of this arose. Because then it's like, hey, we got we got the saying Oakland a year when they didn't really want us there. And then we moved onto a brand new set at offices in Las Vegas. So it's also is ultimate is game recognize game in. That's what I'm saying. The raiders can actually game this thing into their favor. If they really wanted to they knew if they go about a certain way, and that's all I'm saying is may may. Sure you game airtight because if it's not it's gonna be a problem..

"Jon Gruden is box office TV when it comes the hard nuts, and it comes to the the Oakland Raiders. I can't I can't disagree with you. I won't say I won't get in and say that that Jon Gruden is saying, you know. To me. But I do think it's a good fit. You know? And I wanna put new pick me Scott do. Face. You know does really enjoy being on. He. He enjoys walking about the fall with anybody was talk to him. He really does. And I just think if you could fit personally. I hope they go on there. I going to be a great fit. I think it'd be a great thing for the raiders because you get a chance to kinda see them as they move on from Oakland heading into Las Vegas and actually getting ready for their final season in Oakland a place where they began the legendary Al Davis of his Mark Davis being the on part. You know, being the owner. I think it's a great send off for them. I think it's a great sendoff for the city. So I would not be surprised in the least if they come a hard knocks, and we'll be watching, and I know a lot of writer nation to be happy. They on hard knocks too. Because that's a lot of fans and a lot of eyeballs watching on HBO, so HBO should be heavily thoroughly trying to politic that move and make sure that gets done. Imagine being on hard knocks and bring in fans every week. I mean, you know, bring in your superman fan bringing violated really, you know, and you know, you can stuck in guy and and Elsa. Murrow and other fans bring them in, you know, let them to or the ability, and and you make it attribute your fans that way too. You can make the whole show, you know, a fan fest this on the side like they did on baller big. They brought in a lot of the raider fans during the move. You know, the the whole discussion the move and they brought. It's not the more. No. I think is I think it's brilliant. I think if they go ahead and do that and be absolutely brilliant. I think you only benefit and it makes the league look better too. Because when you have people that are, you know? Involve as much like I said writer fans, I n he's football streets beat. So they're going to support team win lose draw. I think it's it's it's a great move for the NFL it generates from economic standpoint as well as HBO should be happy. Because again, they're getting ratings in a writers move the needle. I think because I believe that. While can't Gary can't hear there is gonna be no excuse for Jon Gruden if this team is not a perennial playoff in sender in with all the draft and draft out they have plus the salary cap.
