"A good because of as junior but but he deserves it. He deserves it silvo. Who's a legendary as i said. Emma made fighter. He beat him. He's not a he's not a to beat them and it wasn't a great fight but so ver one mostly because he cared more he cared more than invested. Can he cared more. He can't more obviously came in shape. He came ready he did. His proper preparation chevelle stood in front. He pressed the fight but silva he. He didn't do anything. he stood in front. Most a lot of rounds. Doing outon civil moved a lot with his legs early on especially on the outside move nicely on his legs. Hey he's got good legs. At his age he did board surveys. Who didn't much when he did. He threw one punch at a time. Like i said. I'm happy for silva who again we say. The truth is. He's basically a shot fighter. The he went beyond his time at a broke off. I did a piece on them. People could look it up on the podcasts. At sydney archives talking about him one of the old lions at just broke my heart to see them get beat guys that he would beat five years ago take away for the guys to beat them but getting knocked out by guys that he would have had his way with five years ago. It broke my heart to see just to save as broke my odyssey muhammad ali. You know getting in there with homes or or whoever the ad where it wasn't alley eddie wall or broke my heart to see joe louis. When i watched the tapes of him in there were marciano. Great great great. But that joe. Louis was joe. Louis that was a joe louis that he that he knocked out and these guys stay too long and sometimes and to see silva's states to great silver the great silver the greatest of all time to see him stay too long. It was said it was. It was said and he shouldn't have been fighting anymore but he gets a reward here. It's nice. it's nice it's nice. Nobody deserves a more. It's beautiful. that's the one good thing about it. That that he got a he got something you know being a good person for being a great champion. A nice reward. He beat a former champion. Albay albie at all the things. I just said negative about chavez. But he's still. He went into a different sport. He won he gets that he deserves it. I'm happy for him I was thinking you know can and my stepdad nysc fair him who been knocked out so these fort way pays in his forties. He's ford way past his prime. But it must have been nice to put on gloves and not. Those freaking four outs Things that are basically bad fest band. I'll call That he's getting hit with the may and to go in there it must have felt like sleeping on a nice pillow for that warrior. And he's a warrior my guy for that warrior. What a what. A gift business say. Oh i could wear ten ounce. Wow i mean she's i. I'm used to basically fighting with bed knuckles almost and a. Wow wow he was like gee this is like this is like kitty stuff you know. It is mine. You know he was like what. What's the name of that gulf. Would you take the kids with windmills. Miniature golf putt putt. It's going putt. Putt a miniature golf. He must have said my goodness you giving me ten. Ounce coup ups. Wow i mean. This is believable so anyway he went in there he upsets. He beat chevenez. What can i say i just. I don't know why anybody would would pay chev as Junior listened surveys senior is one of the greatest fighters of all time. He's one of the greatest if not the greatest mexican fighters of all time You know you talk about the greatest mexican fighters of all time. I mean it. So many great ones but chevette. His name is always at or near the top of the list. Serve as senior. So i can only imagine. Father must have felt bushes. What i was gonna say. Shit as senior was in action in the main event against Hectic camacho junior shove as fifty eight years old will be fifty nine in one mile on july twelfth. I don't know. Did you get a chance to see that one. And if so what you think. I didn't see it but i don't have to. I don't have to watch fifty eight year old guys fight. Listen fifty. i love chevelle senior. I love i love him. He's a great great fight. I said it already Mickey duff a great mickey duff. Who's not whether anymore he. He was one of the greatest boxer minds of all time. Great promoter ran everything in london for years He was very witty. He would always come up with these sayings he would have called us. Fighter has been versus. Never was and and you don't wanna knock anyone you know what but really when it comes down to charging money to watch this stuff you gotta you gotta be honest with the people out there. Otherwise why do i have a microphone leg. I said is it but come on. Come on come on. Come on. I mean an now. Camacho camacho julie. Look his. dad was great world champion in several weight classes. His dad was great. Tragic ending tragic life are they did a documentary on them on showtime too but great speed. Some of the greatest speed you ever going to see was in the hands of camacho senior. He was great and he had a great shed. You wouldn't think about that with a guy who wore the kind of outfits you walk and caught himself macho time in macho man and danced around but he had a great chin. He was tough. He had a great chin. But but mo- camacho junior has son listen. He wasn't special when he was young and again. I'm not hitting knoxville. I'm here to tell the truth. I caught his fights on. Espn when he was young he was his special. Then i'm not. He was a defensive fight. He tried to fight. You know defensively a be obviously responsible and smart. He didn't there was nothing he did. Great he wasn't a puncher anything. I wasn't great speed like his father had why he wasn't great when he was young. Why are we watching him now. I mean why does someone think that's a good idea. And as far as a senior. What like i said can one of the greatest fighters volt time one of the greatest mexicans of all time for me. It's and not in his order not as water but for me. You talk about the greatest mexicans of all time shabazz salvador. Sanchez calls about ruben. Olivera listen to other guys. One millwall marquez. And all those guys had barreira great have more of the my never i get it but as far as starting with the top four. I think it's the guys i just said. Chevenez is right there. Why why put him in now at this age. Fifty eight years old with a fighter who again. You're not trying to make fun of whole but he couldn't carry his water okay. He couldn't have water. I it's just. I don't think it's right.

"Favorite because then when they've got a fight somebody who somebody who might not be great one avenue but steady this steady. They're reliable dependable caves thirty five years old. And he's got forty one fights twenty six twenty six wins thirteen losses. There it is. I was right on the button right on the button. Right on the button. I didn't know i didn't have to look listen it was supposed to be another victim. It almost was but again when two things here when you name a guy bully lookout lookout because you kind of not doing them a favor can because by giving him that nickname you kind of. Tell them it's okay to bully everyone around you know it's okay to just get your way because bullies get their way into. They don't get their way really. They get their way to. They don't get their way. You never wanna i remember. There was a football team. The coach said we're going to bully guys and they had brought me into talk. I'm not gonna go into what but they had brought me into talk to speak with some of the. Nfl teams have brought me into speak to them. And i'm doing my due diligence and As i asked my son to help me obviously get some information on the mentality of team. The mentality of the coach because usually the team takes on a mentality of tacoma and they will go to bully. Everyone and i said that's not good. That's that's not good because you don't want it. Sounds good to some people like we're going to bully people around. I get it if you go by the definitive go by the real definitive nature of to speech or the The definitive interpretation of the word bully. You're gonna push. I kinda get it but in my world. You don't wanna use the word bully because it means you take advantage of stolen a means you. You're bullying so enemies you're intimidating. Somebody means you're you kinda getting away with kind of not always having a face something but bullies sometimes get away with just being bullies until someone shows up and punches them nose and then all of a sudden wall now they gotta behaved like something other than a bully and so i would never look ever refer to somebody bully because for me. That's not a positive and so again you build these guys it up and then you'd think picking victim but you picking a guy who Knows how not to be bullied. You picking a guy that is not going to give you a free right. You're picking a guy that has experienced. Who's been there and knows how to behave. Even if he's getting beat up because you're fast two year younger you stronger but he still knows how to behave and you need to be prepared for that and sometimes the managers don't do these guys promoters favors by just bodenham up. you know that old style commercial. Pay me now or pay me later. I say that's the fight all to pay me now. Bid baby or pay me later because either way you gotta pay you gotta pay your pay now by facing the music by learning what you gotta learn by understanding by getting answers by get your questions answered by getting answers to your questions Can i handle this year at an answer to that. What what will i be. You gotta get an answer to that and you're better off getting it now than later and so most shocked. Those things are no shock. That's move on next up anderson silva wins. a split. Decision is boxing. Match against Julio cesar chavez junior who just and this guy can't get out of his own way anderson civil looked really good. I thought i got a split decision. I thought it was probably unit should have been a unanimous decision. I thought and this and civil classroom all night. But what did you think of that one. First of all congratulations to selva a real gentleman of real class act. You can't always say that traverse juniors quite a class i. I'm not trying to knock them. But first of all silvo real class act iconic one of the greatest. Emma may fighters if not the greatest. If not the greatest. Some people could say greg. You probably wouldn't get too many arguments But what are the greatest fight 'em fighters of all time and he goes into a different sport Into boxing even though he's a good strike kaput still. It goes into boxing. And he beats a former world champion. Congratulations to him. Tremendous and let me say something about chevette. First of sheffield's junior. Why so and still paying him. And why is anyone watching him. And i don't like to knock but sometimes after. Why is anyone document anymore. He's destroying a great name of his father to a certain extent he's made millions malians. Yeah millions he's made means off of his name and listen. I'll give them credit that. Yes you know. He's won some fights against some good fighters and he won a title. I'll give you all that. But that was a long time ago and now in the last years in his career. He's coming over wait many times can. He's tested dirty for drugs. Many times he has crit in fights. It's a joke really. I mean you know he. He's like a spoilt kid. Who keeps getting what he wants. No matter how betty is he parties he parties he. I think pretty much public knowledge that he likes to party comes in overweight. A smokes weed and stuff. that's fine. that's what you're but not if you're fighting not if you're fighting now if you haven't people trust you and say i'm gonna pay to watch you pay for pay per view. That's not cool. That's not cool. He comes in heavy all the time. He doesn't care. Why should we can't. I needed to say it. The right way the honest way. Why should we care. I didn't come here. i didn't say last week. Got a knock..

"Fight him. He did it went in there. One maybe around maybe to some people had a forty or forty seven the scores kind of all over the place but the right man one in the end. What did you see from dan. And where does he go for hair. Because again you got a lot of young hungry up and coming lions in this division that are going to be hundred danny kaye. After this fight more than likely yes. It's a tough one for dan. I mean he. He's such a good guy and he has such a good story But the but he stuff does sort of judge where he belongs in this division right. Because i feel like he. He has gotten The maybe a few generous decisions. Let's say that on the judges scorecards and his overall record could look must much much worse conceivably If you play this out ten different times. I think he's probably existing in probably one of the better timelines for him in this featherweight division but he is still so obviously skilled and he is just as tough as a human being can get in there Is he his two fights that he's sort of taken up the ranks obviously qatar and now korean zombie. He's lost both of those. And i honestly thought he lost the edson barboza fight as well but again. He's kind of in a tough spot now where he's probably going to be fighting down the ranks. He's going to get a couple of fights in a row of these up and comers who are really hungry trying to steal his number in steal his spot and that feels right for right now but he's still so young man i mean what's he he's still like in his twenties still twenty nine. I think he has a lot of time left to be able to to make work in this division but he does feel like he's kind of going to push back into this corner of having a fend off the incomers for at least a few fights avenue faith through ebay and giga down for that chain. Burgos it'd be fun. Guys like acidic usa hakeem to waku all interesting matchup so the the list will be is a pretty long one for danny gate boom four. But let's talk about the spiderman. The amazing spider man as you aptly put him in your returning big weekend feature that i was so honored and proud to read without having to pay for it. So it's great to be able to see that anderson silva man. I'm telling you. There's and i'm sure you agree that there's an fighters that whatever attitude they bring to the table. It is unbelievably contagious. Like ev- anderson's having a bad night and you could see in his face like it just seems like the fight is going to be pretty rough and like everyone sort of had has has a bad night or anderson's smiling and he's flowing out there. We just have such a great time watching him. And that's it. He did in his return to the boxing against julio cesar chavez on saturday how fun was that man like with all the sort of negative talk about the crossover fights the paul brothers dec- silva go in there and have a performance like that like how fun was that. I'm smilin right now. just even thinking about it man. I had so much fun watching that fight. And i was not alone. It felt like the may community was celebrating openly celebrating. Even just a halfway through that fight. it is anderson silva is just one of those very unique figures when it comes to the fight game right because i know for for people my age. I'm in my thirties. And civil is one of my earliest favor fighters fan. I came up. Really in the heyday of anderson silva. He was in an absolute apex and he was a magician. He will he was doing. He was doctor strange. He was doing things in there. That didn't feel possible. He was he was acting as if he was in. Hollywood movie in the middle of these fights and just destroying people in ways that i had never actually conceived a being real of a human being able to do and he will always be that guy in my head is the greatest middleweight of all time by far and he's just one of the greatest fighters of all time by far We really have lost that. We lost that sense over the last five years right like i think there are a lot of new fans in the sport who don't actually understand or have any real sense of like who anderson silva is why he matters why any of this matter than what he meant in the in his prime when he was the guy when he was the king of the world. Really when it came to emma. May i think there's a lot of fans who just don't actually have that sense to see the way that the last five years have gone form in the afc and then to see what he did. On saturday it really just makes me wistful in wishing we could redo these last five years because it's just like what were we doing. Spinning our wheels. Throwing anderson silva out there against jared cannon year and derek brunson and your hall like there's so much more. They're so much better things that we could have been doing with these last years. Anderson has only different opportunities that we could. I would've loved to see anderson box when he was. You've seen middleweight. Champion like he is obviously extraordinarily good at this when he was in the middle of this this fight in His opponents dads on his opponents event in mexico in their backyard. And he's doing what he's doing it was you could see the joy ongoing saito peres's face on the commentary booth just as to see in person represent us when we've been taken Elle's like hard els week after week. It seems like every month is just like another enemy fighter. Getting embarrassed somewhere to see this guy at age. Forty six come in here and in what was it like mid third round fourth round worries doing the stephane bonner where he's getting in the corner and he's pointing down to the ground he's getting real animated and you can just see how much fun anderson silva was. Having a to me was the coolest part of all of this was just seeing that joy. Return to the face of anderson silva to see him remembered. Like i am henderson efimova. Like that's who i am and you could see it in in the middle of the flight of just him being that guy again and existing that guy again thriving as it and just being in the middle of a gunfight in knowing that he has complete ownership of what's going on right there it was so obscenely cool like it was just such a great feel good moment for someone who really hasn't had any feel good moments at all over the last five years like The derek brunson fight. I guess was kind of a feel good moment but even that like i don't know man i i had such a good time watching that and that really it makes you. It makes your heart swelled for innocent because again it is. I don't know that this is going to be the end right. Like he definitely is gonna probably continue to box after this. But it's gonna at least open up some more doors for him. Trees gonna make several millions doing a fight against you know some other celebrity or whatever like however. This boxing road is gonna go. He's gonna end up making pretty good money and maybe he can finally find the story book and that he very much did not find in the ufc. When we're keep throwing him against these rando guys that just do nothing foreman. And you're just trying to build other people anderson silva sylla's name like some people. Some people are above that it when it comes to the historical ramifications of fights like that and when you look through the history of the sport like some people are above doing the building their name off of thing and to me anderson service should be above that. And we've we've been doing that for five years so for him to be able to get an actual legacy fight like this in an actual fight will we can feel good about it and everyone can celebrate him for who he is. It just feels so good man. It felt so good as someone who has been the biggest anderson silva mark pretty much my entire adult life like it felt incredible to watch. It was nice to see him fight. Somebody who doesn't get lost in the allure of anderson like even israel out of sonya goes in there and a main event spot and invites anderson silva and as good as he was and we felt pretty bad heading into that fire like man like we don't want to see this but then even izzy got kind lost into the in the lore of anderson silva.

"Let's get back into the openness. Now of this. French open drawn. Honestly we can go quarter by quarter and of course. Our friends at tennis. Abstract provide a fantastic draw forecast. If you know the fivethirtyeight forecasts Perhaps if you follow electoral politics or you. Just use their forecast for nba championships. Whatever it may be tennis abstracts the place to go for tennis forecasts. You look at the women's singles draw forecast coming in to this round of sixteen eagles. Fan tech is a clear favourite via the their formula to win the event. She has a twenty seven point. Six percent chance of winning that of course is based on her elo rating. She's in up there with bardi and halif and terms at the top clay-court specific yellow ribbon. She's also thirty eight now in her last fifty two matches coming in second place. Well there's been some changes now. Because i'm not gonna lie. I'm recording this friday morning. And so i know some of the results that happened currently in second right now the only other player in double digits is a lean fit alina at ten point. Nine percent chance. You've got cocoa goth at nine point. Six you've got. You know serena only one point eight. It's actually vico with a five point nine and that's the highest in that section. Actually scratch that politics dosa who has been excellent. This season nine percent chance she would technically be fourth and again that top four via their forecast schon tech spit alina goff but dosa i mean i think we all would agree. Shan't is in a tear on in her on her own. At this point in you know again her result today it was a one in one victory for her over. Rebecca peterson which is only notable. Because it was freaking one in one and you lookin' again. Her last nine results straight-sets over peterson new. Von date back to last year's french open cannon. This happened during the televised award ceremony. This is world winner. That rule does actually exist because every beauty pageant has its own bad quirks but civil later. Clarified that she hadn't violated it. She and her husband were separated but still married. Brazil’s Ex-President ‘Lula’ May Run for Office Again as Court Cases Are Tossed

"Right president gyroball sonar. Oh is under growing pressure over his response to the pandemic. Now he's facing trouble of a different kind. Supreme Court judges rolled ball scenarios. Political nemesis can run against him in next year's election. Former leftist president Louis in a CEO Lula da Silva was banned from running. Louis and ASIO. Lula da Silva was banned. Louis and ASIO Lulu DeSilva was banned from running in 2018 because he was convicted of corruption. But this new rolling means the Selva, widely known as Lula could have a shot at getting his old job back. We're joined now by NPR's South America correspondent Philip Reeves. Well, what exactly did the judge rule? Well, I don't know whether you remember this. A couple of years ago, Long after leaving office, Lula was convicted of corruption budges. He wound up serving 18 months in jail. Hey, and his supporters always said these charges were politically motivated. Stop him running in the last election in 2018, which they did That's allowing both Salah Toto win yesterday, a Supreme Court judge. Another of those convictions, he decided the court in southern Brazil that bride Lula had no jurisdiction to do so. He ruled the cases should be tried over again by federal court in the capital, Brasilia. And that means that Lula gets his political rights back, at least for now, and therefore, really much to everyone's surprise. He qualifies to be a candidate in next year's president elect presidential elections and can challenge full sooner.

Brazil Supreme Court judge says Lula deserves a retrial

"Lula. Two thousand and twenty two is back on possibly former brazilian president. Louis lula da silva has been cleared by a supreme court judge of the corruption charges which saw him serve an eighteen month stretch in prison a few years back. The decision is not a complete acquittal beak the court which tried lula was acting outside its jurisdiction and the matter remains to be considered by the supreme court entire but until or unless that happens. Lula's full political results results. Who writes this full. Political rights are restored to him theoretically freeing him for a crack at getting his old job back next

"Of those teachers in the houston area. Say their new priority access to the vaccine is a bright spot. In a hard year high school english teacher liana silva called it. A huge relief. When you hear this kind of news. He realized that you've been clenching. Your job for a very very long time or that you've been tensing up in the back of your net quarter shoulders. You a lot of us feel that tension and stress of its today. The day that i'm going to get sick. Texas is one of eleven states that had not yet included educators in priority groups for the vaccine

Janocko fuel itself is with us yet. Thank goodness we still have a title race. Just thank goodness to halftime. There was so many analyzes marker also sorting out gladbach. There will be calm now before he takes over. And then livesey made the bundesliga excited for two minutes with the irony at halftime. But thank god. Thank god for everybody. Neutral love love the bundesliga. There was fantastic. Second half of our show and they slowly came back. Glad back more tired had some chances on contracts but policy and kuku and solo there so many attackers. It's lives. You haven't score enough goals after chicken and van left them after last season but they produce tonight and we haven't excitement we have. We have a tight race in germany. Dan could you imagine. Say those words. I know i don't know very much unlikely. After the to say bad in the first half. Yeah yeah their web bad but but say having said that. I mean they had a ball the lot. They didn't create a lot gluck. Unbelievable efficient mcconnell had one of those half where look like the most clumps defender being around after being the most attractive defender around and toronto and half on peres demanded to nil and everything look like well typical vion after their gala show earlier on the day and now we have this situation fribourg against lives on friday if they win that top of the league at least for twenty four hours then the big game between via munich endorsements says you mentioned yance still two point separates vine and live sick. Let's switch attention to that wind show for buying a day. They were certainly facts that the way this game ended you. They could just keep scoring. Every few minutes on the will keep on scoring. I mean live on dose keno. Getting closer to that magic gaffe miller torty goals in a season scoring two goals today but there was a whole wasn't ed when they played their home three three losing in frankfurt against eintracht. And then they're back to the norm. Winning high in champions league winning five one against cologne. it's not like five or six goals better than them on the page but they just so efficient gerrad sky. Think a ended up with three assists. Today nabu just scoring for fun. Uneven ship matang scoring so i mean by will be all the way of the understatement of the nights at just into content main if levin dusky reaches at forty gaumont. It's unbelievable because then you compare yourself with the best goal Of all time and yes you could say the by a munich was fantastic. But you can say the same about this team. I mean we are talking about whole on emba- pay silva or were all these goalscoring sensations around europe the moment but levin dose gays to complete striker but the the goal getter part of his game is unbelievable to he's hungry and passionate for goals is unbelievable and you saw the way to the goals. Today you had a you finally got. Thomas miller on to fourteen seconds to make an assist for him. I just turned around. He knows all the time where where he is on the full patriots and if he beats the record i still doubted but he's getting closer meanwhile bruce feldman turning on in the second half in proved to be a comfortable win in the end. I'll tell you what twenty twenty one jaden sanitary. It's very different than twenty. Two thousand nine hundred and sounds like christmas press the reset. Button is incredible. Twenty twenty cents show. At least the half of it was very influenced with all that happened around us some monsters united being on the phone all the time. Hundred and twenty million hundred million europe but now he's on fire and the way he's playing at the moment he's playing with all his strength all the passionate he's running all the time he's body. Language is turn like hundred and eighty degrees unbelievable. I also today. I a writer who scored that goal. And i think that that sums up the way dole put his playing at the moment ailing all on. I'm not sorry. Putting in northern region after solo scored for for leipzig later tonight. But but then allen all on one against one against goalkeeper typically get up. We'll try himself. Just give it the ball away. And i think that sums up that door at the moment. They won three games in a row. Intense being under pressure as being a lame duck after the appointment of mark but they are back on track another only three points behind eintracht frankfurt for that very very valuable champions league place for they make it. Yeah yes. I think they will. Because i don't think well eleven games eintracht frankfurt had and with no losses i winston role. Then losing it to to bremen and as long as they can keep on winning these kind of games which has been difficult for them. They're lower teams like being felt today. They will keep on doing it but mind you next game. It's frankfurt against got. That could be a frankford. Win on there and Munich and then we can have that six points again. Because volts berg are winning games just like behind everybody under the radar of everybody of body so they could end up taking place in the bundesliga

NBA free agency: How rosters are taking shape

"The nba has scared off teams. An agents after the bogdonovich mess this week. We're not getting a whole wave of signings. Nobody yet right before we were getting ready for the nba draft the other night. We did a podcast and we talked about the bogdonovich deal. You said bogdanovich is going to have moments that will live forever he bucks. This is not what you meant. When you said that that bogdonovich would have moments that would live forever in bucks history. You did not mean that he would screw up everything with his potential signing in a trade with the milwaukee bucks this is such a an incredibly fascinating story because it all happened in the midst of the draft. This mix story comes out that an agreed to anything. And he's actually mad about this and it's like and then there's people saying i this is just a cover up so they all get in trouble but this is crazy like you have a situation where a guy worked out a deal. Three days before free agency was going to begin. We always kind of operate in the nba with a wink. Wink last year after everything that went down the nba sent memos out to everybody to really scare them and say hey. This isn't how it's going to be anymore. We got enough complaints. And we're going to change things and then within literally by the next time this comes about we have maybe the most egregious o of any of the situation that we've seen at least everybody else when they're working out their deals and they're recruiting players. They keep it quiet. This was not a quiet and in fact was out there for the world to see a deal that was not allowed to be made being made behind closed doors and then getting reported and so obviously that was just not going to happen. They were not gonna let that thing go through and now what ends up as a result is what you said. We get two free agency. Yes everybody's been working. These deals out for a week and usually or longer and usually it hits free agency and guys like whoa jr and guys like shams and even you unload the clip at five one. You know it's like this guy signed here. This guy's i near this guy sign here. It's it's very obvious that everybody's deal did not get done in one. Minute's time that deal was already agreed to and they had to wait until it could be official. Now we're not getting things announced like we usually would because everybody wants to put up the guys that the deals not worked out because of the bogdanovich crap right. Yeah i mean sure does seem like that. I just got off the phone with a team executive right before we started the podcast and and we went back and forth about that and his impression as as as as everybody else. I talked about that. It's going to be a little bit more slow moving with these deals because teams and agents have to put up this front that oh where are they going to zoom meeting after the time of free agency open like come on serious here. That's you know. I talked to somebody earlier today. Who remarked it's kind of a shame that in example is being made out of another small market team like the milwaukee bucks with this whole situation and i. I understand looking at it from that perspective. This is not the milwaukee bucks at all. They're trying to do is improved their team when they have this transcend talent once in a generation in of kumbo and they're trying to do everything possible in order to keep that player. And you know we talk all the time about stars going to big markets stars leaving small markets in an is kind of a shame that it happened that way With that slam unless you view it from one of their competitors at unless you're doing it for sure their competitors are like they're cackled about this. They're laughing but they're also there were also by all reports calling the league and saying t retail telea. Where where let's say you weren't negotiating with the guy. You were waiting until he hit restricted free agency. And then you can recruit and extend your offer sheet whatever. So let's just say let's act like some teams are playing on the up and up when that when when before. He can even be up for restricted free agency. A report comes out that the deal is done. You better believe if i was one of the bucks competitors. I'd be like yo no no. This is not like this. Is exactly what y'all sent the memo out for sure and we didn't and i didn't even get a chance to recruit this guy. I didn't even get a chance. These guys are getting deals. Done three days before free agents even starts like no screw that and so the league an inevitably has to come down on them. I mean i mean ultimately it's also probably the most egregious example considering evolves a an extension. You know john extension a new contract. Because he's a restricted free agent A sign and trade and it also involves a player you know having to have his deal guaranteed or santia silva. There's all these factors into it that you know and just the fact that it. It spreads so quickly. That night. When i when i first reported that the bugs will pursue a sign and trade with bogdan bogdonovich. The hawks are also expected to pursue a sign and trade for our rather send an offer sheet bogged down bogdonovich. You know everybody was talking about it in the league. It spread fast fast fast. And it's still clear what exactly happened. There's a lot of finger pointing from a single direction. What happened who leaked a. You know who confirmed it and all this stuff regardless something was lost in translation that night. You know like ten to midnight east coast. I'm when all that stuff really started trickling out fast. And they had a framework that was agreed to but no final agreement necessarily and so somewhere along the lines some party jumped the gun or it was portrayed as being jumped the gun but It's the the nba hat to set that example. I think i mean. I feel i feel for the bucks and i feel for smart smaller teams but it can be a problem and ultimately. I think that's probably where the league is drawing the line with what's happening there. It's just like you see those signings at six. O one right right after free agency opens five year deal. You know the brand new team. It's like really. They just negotiated this in a minute. And i'm not sure where the line should be. I'm not sure. I don't think it's enforceable. I don't think it's enforceable and so this really is just making an example of the bucks and then everybody else involved in the situation. Now he's probably gonna head somewhere else. Vince carter said earlier today on. Espn maybe atlanta. I would bet on atlanta to.

End of Abe era leaves Japan still searching for way forward

"Your Shahida Suda as the country's new prime minister on Monday. 71 year old Mr Suder was overwhelmingly elected as the leader of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party, replacing Shinzo Abe has dominated Japanese politics for the past eight years. Mr was expected to serve until the end of next year, but announced suddenly he was stepping down last month, pleading poor health. There's now concerned that Japan could be about to return to what became known as revolving door politics when the country changed Prime Minister's almost every year, Rupert Wingfield Hayes reports. Yeah. You see that pit shuttle get this's something No one would have predicted even a few weeks ago. 71 year old Yoshida super being proclaimed leader of Japan's all powerful Liberal Democratic Party. And by default, the country's new prime minister. Mr Sugar is not known for his charisma or his oratory. And as he made his rather ponderous victory speech, you can hear why you know anybody. Ronnie. Still cocaine. I want to break down bureaucratic divisions invested interests, he says on the blind adherence to president indication to form a cabinet that will work hard for the people. That takes a kike Agos, Cary Most Japanese, No, Mr Sugar as Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's long serving grim faced spokesman Up till now. He has always been a backroom guy. A fixer. He has none of the charm or diplomatic skills. Mr Abba used TTO win over President Donald Trump. But according to those who know him like economists and long term Tokyo resident Yes, Bacall, Mr Sugar brings other attributes to the game. Here is a man who gets up at five o'clock in the morning. Does 100 sit ups and then reads all the newspapers and by 6 30. He's starting meetings right with business people with advisers, you know, with outside economists, he absorbs like a sponge and wants to get things done for the country. He's not interested in any of the glitz or blink that comes with war nongovernment. The problem for Mr Suder. Is he has no mandate from the Japanese people. His elevation to the top job was a stitch up by L. V P. Party bosses in smoke filled back rooms. Perhaps because of that much is being made of Mr Segers Humble background. The son of a strawberry farmer, he worked in a cardboard factory to pay his way through college. He's certainly very different from most of Japan's recent prime ministers like Mr Abbott, the silent of a powerful political dynasty, but in the scheming world of Japanese politics Rashid, a circus. Humble origins could also be his undoing. According to Professor Koichi Nakano of Tokyo's Sophia University. Mr Silva comes from a humble background. He really doesn't have his own power base. You know, he doesn't belong to any faction on DH. He actually, you know, Rose to power because he was Mr B's preferred choice on the party bosses rally behind him, You know, emergency situation. But once the emergency situation is gone, and once the party bosses study realized that they're not getting all they wanted. I'm sure there's going to be past trouble. They're both from

"Tiago Silva to Chelsea is confirmed it's a one year deal initially with the option to extend for a further your it follows his medical which was completed in Milan Craig Burley and check in his slop still with me Craig how much does this help Chelsea in quest challenge? The likes of Liverpool Man City next season. I think it's a big help I mean although it's Player who I think is going to be fair sex very soon. But as a player played in the Champions League final as a player as hugely experienced. Still and Sharp, enough. UNCON- organized an lead lighting Butlin. The really struggled for most part of the season was a big reason. Why Chelsea till? Towards the end and stole realty to to make that talk for look, there's no inherent rescue. Apart from the fact that might not walk. There's no financial slightly apart from salary. And so I think it's an excellent saying short term when you consider the death of real call. The almost every talk club chasing the good ones going to cost money Chelsea, we spend money and other possessions this for me makes absolute sense. Now, thank Frat Lampe be hoping that he can bring new organizational qualities that is brought to club and country over the last decade a decade or so

So we had just got done with the session and it was basically like we graduated from like the training wheels de session to like the real like you're getting will Arcada has had his world. You know like you've graduated. So it was like, okay I'm going to get some cool art done and so at that point we like met in a discord call afterwards. And say I need to get art commissioned for sure like a half to and. That's when Tiffany was like, Oh, you should totally go to John because I believe you had done some sort of peace for her. All Yeah I think it was a really quick. She's like he made this privy super-quick and it's super good and like you should go to him and so Sheila must've message you like maybe two or three hours before I did so bless all met. So we all knew we were going to the same person that everything. and. We all thought that was cool that we all have our that was like kind of all the same kind of style and like fit together. Thanks to you guys I feel like that's when things really started rolling from me as an independent artists because y'all have following and I'm just. You don't just draw brother like you draw. Bro like new it's. Yeah. Like you just don't draw man like there. There's a difference between who draw and you like. There's a the difference so I appreciate it. For, sure. But let's just how I was feeling. Yeah That's why I had to on the podcasts because like you said, you're not just an artist when I go to your streaming, you do the little things like moon coming into your room and checking on you and all that kind of little stuff dude, like you're you're not just like you said, you're not just an artist at the end of the you also want to entertain like make a connection in that kind of stuff and I was like that's exactly why you should be on the podcast so. It's awesome year. Now I. I it's an honor I'm still baffled that I'm even like talking to you guys because like I see who else was on the podcasts always crawled through the list Mike Why am I here? You deserve it. And then I also know you have a lot of experiences like you said earlier in the industry 'cause we we have a lot of. Content creators who are on twitter and Youtube and stuff like that and I think it's important to show the kind of. Struggles, in the kind of things that takes that an artist goes through because different medium yet totally different kind of medium that we haven't covered or seen and to have you on. Here's totally refreshing to see that. You still have the same idea that sure the games I play. But the art I make isn't the main thing I do but the connections in the labs in the things I make along the way that is truly wide. Do it. Yet chat chat is everything for me like. I'm all go as far as you know how people like they stream in a sadly have terrible experiences even mental breakdowns like real. Mental breakdowns. I never experienced that he was depalma opposite. I mean I talked to Jay Monahan you know about a month ago before before their season started because they were GonNa go to tech says, and he gave me some great feedback on what they were doing with testing, and so yeah, we do we. We're <HES>. We're trying to be very diligent and we're also trying every day to make sure that what we're doing. We're still analyzing it every. Every day, no as I told my team and we've told the players you know until August second when someone raises the King Trophy <hes>, we gotta be diligent every day, so we've. We've even made a few adjustments as you know we're. We're going to have <hes> five up to five hundred fans in the stadium right halls, twenty, five hundred, and originally those fans were only required to have a temperature check, but about five days ago before everything a little bit. A little crazy over last five days we decided that we would add masks in for the fans as well and so all all. All the fans will also have mass in the stadium. And you know with the way we thought about that as you can always take the masks down at feel better, but better to be a little safer so <hes>. Yeah, there's there's definitely a low pressure. I think we're up forward and I think we're going to show everyone how how we can be safe and be. Operationally smart every day. It's a five hundred fans as of today is the number you're working with. It is yeah. Yeah, and what? We got I don't know if you've ever been to that stadium, but it's a great little Horseshoe Horseshoe stadium around the court with a lower bowl at an upper bowl, and so the you'll either by a lower bowl, general admission, ticket or bowl, general admission ticket, and then every other rose blocked, and then the Oscars will social distance. Distance when you come into the stadium, so if you came John with your family, you'd be able to sit with your family. But if I came with my family, we'd sit together but I wouldn't be able to sit next to your family. We'd be six feet away and so and so that that works and we'd. "Show people can just show up. It's probably better if they contact but people can just show up. It's in Huntington off of beach. Boulevard beach in Yorktown Sorta by the freeway. There's an inland not closer to the beach. Yeah so yeah. That's actually going right now. And that's a new thing that that we're doing and I'm facilitating it with some of the client advocates that we have sp six forty get them all up. Sacramento to scream and yeah so I really want encourage people to take advantage of that. I know I've I've so my friends and family members and people at my parents worked with and whatnot. They're always like where do people go? Where can we go? Where can we get help? And I've always been frustrated. 'cause I just there's it's tough so this is a resource for people. Yeah I get these calls all the time and and it's and I've been sending people out of state because it's hard to find consistently good places. I may refer to your guys program for sure and do you do medical detox and all that stuff so everything full-service. Yeah Detox all the out throughout patient. Well listen could touch base with you again. It's fascinating to me I. I would not have predicted to addiction for your that. Wouldn't have been an accident was for me to sort of how I got in one once you. It's so thrilling when it works it just yeah. And that's actually the cool thing that the client advocates that we have people that have long term recovery. I work with a lot of people who have long term recovery. I'm talking some people have like twenty plus years and it's great you know it's great to be able to see people go back to like said flourishing. What's going to happen to you is you're going to people are going to people you kick. Outta treatment or you lose treatment or you have struggled with in treatment. "A streaming show we do on a regular basis inside of Dr Two. Tv's contact lists a lot going over on the website. Please join me there. Speaking of joining me. It's a privilege of being bring back Sofia Silva you can. Her website is Sophia Silva. Va Dot Org Also all the twitter facebook instagram is at Sofia Silva Org. Is that correct? Yeah that's correct. Welcome back thanks for having me so last time we had you you were full throttle positive psychologist. And I was not really my orientation was sort of fascinated by it kind of kept an eye on it ever since and read and watch a Lotta stuff by no blanking on his name the founder of all this other implants nine Martin Seligman and he's got some interesting ideas and some you know it's since then this is funny. You know who graduated from his program was Yakup SMIRNOFF. The comedian was a famous comedian. I had him here right I think. So Yeah Adam show yeah. He was a famous comedian in the seventies. Because he's like he escaped the Soviet Union and he's Russian and he. He came here sort of making fun of Russians. Famous comedian. Who you're talking about during a time of great tension with the Soviet Union at the time and he went back and got a positive psychology degree and now he's all about positively but tell me a little bit again. Let's review of psychology. And you have pivoted Santa. We'll talk about how that happened. What that means talk a little bit. About what positive psychology. Yeah so what it is is really what the researchers do is they look at people who are living happy healthy lives so well being right and they see what what are these people doing that others are not and so they use that and then create interventions so that people can increase their well being with us be a cognitive psychology. Or are you teaching people something and whereas it cognitive behavioral we are sort of adjusting their thinking that can play into it but there's different kinds of interventions. I wouldn't necessarily say that it's like a tea or anything like that for certain structured program. No there's if not that I'm aware of I've seen some things that have started to come out I. I don't know if you have more information or not. But it's not that structured yet as far as I know okay and so when you were working in what kinds of interventions would you use so when I so I was student in I was actually studying positive organizational psychology? And then I had come out. I had been doing interviews and I had been doing some consulting work with organizations and what's in between positive organizations like healthy organizations. Yes so how can we reduce recidivism? How can we hire people that are aligned with the goals of that organization? How can people the more productive at work? How can we reduce ghetto tough because things like that and can you summarize how you did that? So I would go in and do workshops and work with with teams and do team building activities. Just how do you function better as a team? You and looking at the the strength of the team. So what do you is Enjoy about each other. What's The for example? If I'm working with you what do I. What are your strengths that you bring to the table? And how can we build on that? Instead of looking at the opposite of that would be a toxic. Work Environment Right Where people yelling at each other. And there's the blame game and people don't WanNa come into work and all that sat and you guys wouldn't try to if you encountered something like that you wouldn't try to superimpose positive psychology on that kind of an environment. We'd have to kind of address. What some of the issues are and then move towards. Scott how these dysfunctional interactions and correct try to bring out. What's happening here? Correct so just to clarify positive psychology. Isn't people think it's like oh it's all rainbows and happy and we don't look at problems. That's not true Positive psychology wants to build on. What's already working well The not necessarily focusing solely on problems and he seems so cognitive went. When I think about it you're sort of thinking about it looking at it. Identifying writing it down bringing it out and talking about it that feels pretty purely cognitive may have emotional consequences But now he pivoted to what so now fitted to addiction so so. I'm working as a therapist. Now in the field of substance ecology there I do I do use interventions with my clients Focusing on what their strengths are so one of the things that I like to use as a strength inventory characters shrinks inventory. And they really like doing that. Because we're really focused on character defects right and what's wrong with you and the problems which they need to be addressed. Don't get me wrong but it's kind of Nice to see that you know. I'm still human and I have good things about me. So that's one of the interventions from positive psychology. That I use is to see what the character strengths are. And how they can use more of that in their daily lives out work with their relationships and what's the setting for is it in a residential treatment center or yes so so the company I work for Hotel California? The see we. We do all levels of treatment. So there's detox residential outpatient. We've used to be so by the Sea. It used to be Yes over living by the sea. You can't yeah. Yeah Yeah Yeah So. It's the same place and they always had really good educational vocational Rehab and stuff like that. That's still there. Yes we have a couple of different tracks We work with executives male executives which is like a thirty enough track and there's a specialized program for women and there's a young adult program and that's where we really focus on the career development so they get help Creating resumes going on job interviews and helping with those life skills to reintegrate. What group working with best. I like all I really do. Enjoy the young adults. There's different challenges. Yeah so that population has been very much of a conundrum for people that have been as field for a long time myself and I can only characterize it as a listlessness or something like they like the the classic interaction is you know counters are like come on. What are you GONNA do? Let you sit in the basement database. I smoke pot and the response always is want me to do like. There's no spontaneous kind of inspiration to be in the world are you encountering that and therefore no reason to get sober because yeah it can be very frustrating. And that's why we really try to develop that internal motivation right. Help people want for themselves? Well you know. That's tough combination right. So there's a combination of of therapy group. Therapy ask pharmacotherapy but we also work a lot with families. That's a big emphasis that we have on on educating them helping them set boundaries and really helping them help their children 'cause that's an area that we see that they really struggle. Because it's like obviously if I if my mom tells me I can come back home and live in her basement and she's GonNa pay all my bills. Why why would I want people who can live on the streets and maintain their disease quite easily too? That's true and I which is typically what happens right. Yeah it's sad. It's more than sad at the crime. Humbly and it's being perpetrated by people who don't understand these conditions drive you crazy it. That's that's funny that you ask that because I've I've been saying that for a while and it'd be my friends will send me videos of you like someone saying the same thing that I've been thinking it's driving me crazy. Yeah it's really frustrating. I literally am fine with a saying. Hey heroin addicts use all the heroin you want but you better have nurse administer that because in monitor it because if left to their own devices they will die period two fatal illness. So if you're going to say it's okay to go use all you want and you're just going to sacrifice these people's lives okay. But you have to do certain things because they're sick -ill right. Oh my God. I think it's a bigger issue that I mean. It's a societal issue right. It's affecting all of us. You mean the what's going the genocide on our streets right. It affects everyone. It's not just like I can turn a blind eye and pretend like they clearly don't know what they're looking at it as oh they. These are poor people that need housing. No right no of our patients. I'm without me leading the witness. If you put our patients into just give them four walls take the them and say you have to stay here in these four walls. What's GonNa Happen are patients there? That's not gonNA work. I mean the sense of reality right when you look at time place argumentation. What's what's going on. It's not not lucid right. They're not safe right right so when they're in these safe environments and doing their thing. Well one thing that I get to. I've had people you know be frustrated if someone their loved one has. Let's say bipolar right and like glue. Not taking their meds. Well if no one's monitoring that and you know helping right loan to which is what's insane the frustration in your and in the our patients that I start described going to this condominiums their death. Rates GonNA skyrocket free. Go to town. Now there's GonNa be just dead people all over these condos perfect. Well done well done. That's helping everybody and it. Sometimes I believe they don't care. They almost want them to be dead or something it. It feels like that they just don't care. I don't know I can't I mean I just don't know it. Just it seems crazy to me. It seems really crazy because anybody disagree with you and me the knows these patients. I don't think so. I think they're all on the same page on that. I really wish we we would be able to provide better care and follow up care and follow these people and help our patients. You know. There's another interesting thing that I encountered Recently in your what you just said triggered me on this is I got my ex waiver to give suboxone right. Although I'm not a big Fan with all these people dying I feel are. Okay Rio do something. I am a fan of Zone but the long acting the shot and the implant and all that stuff. I'm big fan of that. When you when you take the course to be wavered to prescribe these things they go on the trucks and works. It really works except it's no good because we you lose the patient follow. I thought that's because your shitty doctor you don't exactly you describe was keeping them engaged getting the community allegation their family. That's how you keep them engaged. You don't just hand them a medication ago. You're on your way you're done. You have to engage and you have to know how to do that and to build the community that can capture that right. That's good practice. And then guess what you know. He's lose them and then I'll check on works right and that's actually one of the reasons. Why we we and my my employer tries really follow up with our clients Alumni GROUP. We do catch it right. Yeah so we have an alumni group and we actually have a client. Advocates that meet with our clients from the very beginning at detox. Follow them through hand off the handshake. Right welcome right. Yeah and takes them the meetings and that's part of right going to meetings and building that sober social support and part of the family work that we do as well so the family knows you know is more educated on this whereas a program where Newport and Huntington and so there's lots of recovery down there I don't know if Huntington it goes down into lagoons tank Clementi's Olive Huntington it's everywhere..

Go you know we hold over three hundred patents on foam material right now. I'm quite sure that we have a patent already in existence like you want to show me and and i was like oh okay so first of all why does that matter to me like would you not help me make something anyway and she said well. If we hold the patent you wouldn't make any money my said okay so <hes>. Why wouldn't you take the chance just to see so. Let me ask you first of all who <unk> designed all of these different patents these products and she was like i don't know like a an engineer or technical designer. Something and i said has any of them been designed by a makeup artist who's actually working and she was like well. Actually no and i said okay so why would you choose right kathy while well hey. Why wouldn't you look at mine so long story. She ended up looking a mind saying it was the palm slap to the forehead. Why didn't we think of this and i said you're not a makeup artist and i promptly hired her and she was my president for fifteen years she because she got me she she believed i. "We hadn't heard of jason silva you should he wants to host of t._v. Show called brain games. He went on to to become a viral video star but what made chasing silva jason so is that he has this beautiful articulate poetic way of speaking about or eight w. e. or he refers to or as that feeling of wonder that you have in today's world and jason mix science technology spirituality to unite them and speak eloquently about why we need to be so damn in or about world today so i put jason onstage at a fest in belief the topic was on envisioning the art of creating bold visions for the future and jason's job was to inspire people about why why we need to be optimistic and excited regarding the future of humanity and just how far we've come so check this out kiani and this is the mind valley podcast. It's an honor to be here here with all of you woke humans. I feel lit up by your energy. My heart feels open and i'm excited to share share with you guys today. Some people know me from hosting brain games on the national geographic channel and brain games is interesting because it kind of describe it as like sesame street for the brain rain but the philosophical takeaway of the show really is that our brains perceive the world and then often miss perceive the world and reality liberty is coupled to perception and if you can mediate perception well you can change reality at least subjective reality the reality the that allows you to take action in the world and exercise agency in the world and make your dreams come true in the world right and so the theme of this event envision vision your future. I mean that i gotta say it. Just really turns me on right because that's what we do right. I mean i believe we are all in visionaries or that word from disney imagine years right. It's such fricking exhilarating word like we are imagine ears. We have this capacity acidy to conjure up these delightful future possibilities choose the most amazing possibility and then pull the present president forward to meet those possibilities one of my favorite poet futurist. Mr ray kurzweil wrote at the end end of his book. The singularity is near that are unique capacity to conjure up these virtual realities because that's what they are in our imagination nation these dreams which of course dreams do not lack reality they are real patterns of information so our capacity to conjure up these virtual realities in our minds combined with our modest looking thumbs was sufficient to engender a secondary force of evolution that we call technology and he says it will continue until the entire universe is at our fingertips until we infuse the cosmo's with sentient literally louis so back to this theme of envision airing right envisioning hearing so i'm bashing it about human imagination. I'm passionate about human creativity and and again this has turned into a passion for technology and innovation because i believe that technology is the embodiment of human creativity in the world technology is the liberalisation of human imagination in the world technology is how we turn the human mind inside out and how we impregnate the world with mind the cognitive philosopher david chalmers and andy clarke in their extended mind.

We're called insane by those could not hear them. Okay. Number one, number two, number two. Number two. The only people for me are the mad ones. Mad to live mad to talk mad to be saved desirous of everything at the same time. Those who never yawn say commonplace thing would burn burn burn like yellow Roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars. And that I think it's Jack Harak, but that quote is about celebrating. You're crazy celebrating your unique dance and.

"A container over the thing but the container makes the thing in other words when you watch a movie the story only works because of what your shown but also what you're not shown it's what's edited in and also what's edited out sir the container that makes jason silva is necessary for the pattern of information in articulation in yeah interpretation of reality that is filtered through the consumption of meat in the container my brain and so maybe my obsession with containers comes from and into wish in our realization that even pudding language to things is imposing order on chaos joe jordan peterson says the artist contends with the unknown and makes it known he has a foot in the unknown and he makes it known through the act of articulation shirt terrence mckenna said you take the mushrooms of language and what are you experience ecstatic articulation empowered vocal is asian through language we create a container but we also create the thing itself because without that container it's infinity which is chaos which is formulas which is nothing but this is fascinating because you are a conduit for the infinite you're the bridge and yet this thing the you're bringing here in the world yours you seem to be resistant to in its beautiful man i'm telling beautiful battle that's exactly right it's it's what we're talking about the collision of these two things i mean this is what so beautiful is that maybe we create reality through language like may be may be we are all reality authoring engines i mean we certainly are in terms of our own subjectivity but maybe most of the time we let it happen passively are unconsciously yeah taking a conscious making a conscious effort authoring your reality stage designing you reality being the choreograph review reality knowing that you have the capacity to then suspend disbelief right because you know when you go to a theater it's like an example of that it's like i know the stages fake i know they've dressed that up on actors are in costumes as soon as a shit starts i not only suspend disbelief but as janet murray says you actively metabolize believe so our reality author when you turn steward to conserve your consciousness you doing that you're locate what are the words.

"Wanted said the dmt will last a little bit longer that's a iowa oscar right so it's essentially the thing that allows the dmz to get processed out of the brain we put a little stopper in the drain so we can experience it longer now what i think many futurist want when they weren't life extension is to do essentially the same thing for the human body which is we want an end male inhibitor for existence itself so we can experience the beautiful of peponnis a human experience which is actually the universe getting highs of fucking kite on this really advanced neurology and so we want that high to last much longer you're like somebody who knows you're gonna come down man you're going to come down your the trips the silva trip the beautiful fucking brilliant jason silva pure fresh off the kristol's silva that you took at some point of the universe you entered into this like hopefully six hundred year maybe longer wouldn't it be nice if advances in biotechnology at the very least gave us like a multiples of three lifespan extension so like you know lifespan averages to be 30 now pushing a and that was before these interventionist again would be nice if we could go in a rejuvenation therapy for our cells and just off the bat just be like bro your live five hundred years do a four you even started to decay let me tell you and then and then we'll talk let's talk and four hundred years will have this debate here's i had the means i will have a front row site the greatest fucking show of all time i honestly think and four hundred years there is a possibility that you and i will be doing at this kind of podcast but it may be won't be us it'll be in the mars moon bay all know someone might have like duplicated are personalities and thrown an sme later in there all right let's see how the fucking feel about death and four hundred years but the the i think that the that the absence of it is in what's what i think is really beautiful about being a human and we need it is this concept.

"As you're having them but also the author a refuge in a relief from despair from nihilism from nothingness i mean you say you know ernest becker when he says that character is a vital lie yeah that that this version of lar bring but even the consensus baseline version of lar ping which is to say i'm an american citizen and i'm jason silva and i'm an artist that to a certain extent we need to we need to summon coherence in our identity because without it than were also lost at sea like we need certain constraints jordan peterson talks about this you need the constraints of avoiding pain right or you don't want pain and you need to protect yourself for pain in the present but also in the future and you to take other people into account not just now but in the future all these things in these constraints are necessary to form a coherent narrative in a sense of person who had an osce to move towards a noble goal because by the way without that it is chaotic i mean when you read about it will who suffer from like deep personalization for example yeah d realization where they think that their own they they feel like everything is fake or like their own identity is not real any more that sounds like a pathology to meals people suffer a lot early start going they maybe they take too many psychedelic trigger some weird psychosis where they have the is asian experiences that persist past the second ballot were they walk around the world and they feel like they're not part of it anymore have you ever heard this story of honam and rahm the monkeygod you'll like the erika so this is to go into the concept of deeper sinologist pathology verses which is certainly can be or deep personalization as a form of realization an awakening and i think they're both very possible her so the allocation is the only thing that makes the difference well yeah that that would have framing you'll know this quote now as fuck it up with what is it the mystics swims in saying the market missed again the mad men are in the same waters but the mistica swimming the madman is drag okay so this is a heineman you know is the representation of the great servant you know which is the.

"Look for what your best that and what's most profitable and get really good at that and then go hello welcome back to shortstory long first and foremost i want to say i apologize for the missed weeks missed episodes over the holiday season i've been travelling everyone's been traveling everyone's kind of in and out of work and i am relying on guests every week to make the show happened and sometimes it's a little hard with scheduling so this holiday season has been a little tricky but from here on out we're back to our normal scheduling uh every single wednesday morning this week were sitting down with ps silva who is a an entrepreneur pay speaker and author just a really inspiring motivated person uh who's doing a really good job and doing really cool thing so we talk about you she started a branding agency called worst of all design where she worked with small businesses to help them find their branding find their voice find their messaging and help them take that to the next level and we go over full story what it's like growing up in new york city and what that kinda looked like travelling the world a little bit and and how she figured out that what she wanted to do was be an entrepreneur and start a business with her husband and the the trials of that and the ups and downs of that and her how she went from thinking that she was about to be bankrupt and be out of business to being really really successful and how she did that of what it was that made her so successful so i was really excited about this episode i was even more happy once i did it and i saw how good it was and how passionate she is about everything she does so.
