"You go to the los angeles rams but you return to the eagles as a player coach and just briefly i. I never knew of anybody who was a player coach in the nfl. Did that happen. Very often have very often i. Tom landry might have done a little bit when he was with the giants. But it at The reason i had a had a great foundation at north western. When air siegen worked with us he expected us to know everything we could about football offense and defense. 'cause the end to play both ways. We didn't have a lot of great players so we had to use players both ways so you had A broad understanding of the game my rookie year with the eagles They into training camp. They always gave a test to the guy to see if they understood all their assignments. Jerry williams is our defensive coaches coordinator and gave us our final exam and everybody finish examined walked out and how the still continuing mining he thought i was having trouble. It's anyhow they'll cook. I'll be ready in a minute or so. Yeah finally finished. I gave him my papers at holy smokes. This what do you want. It was for each one of us to give our individual assignments and their defense. I drew up all eleven assignments so became a statement. Caller my rookie year. Defending can't jerry. never forgot that so and when he thought about coming back to Coach as a player coach. Jerry williams had close up in canada and he was packed in philadelphia as a head coach and he hired beers a player coach. 'cause they knew systems and after nine years playing in the nfl and being a player coach in one thousand. Nine hundred seventy one. You had absolutely no experience broadcast inc and yet you were hired by. Cbs sports as an analyst and commentator and thus became the first african american to do so. I you know. I was there in the early years in one thousand nine hundred. Seventy two seventy meaning night in the seventies But what was it. How how did they see you. What was it that they liked the nerve cross. Why you run it it it I didn't have experience at the network broadcast you. But when i was a rookie again in front of the guys just go out and do a lot of speaking game as per fees in The defending world champions. Everybody wanted to get a hold of people. I told the pr department. If anybody from a legitimate nonprofit organization wanted to speaker. that'd be. I be like to do it. I would do it for nothing. So i got a call from some service organization that luncheon meeting. They gave a presentation after. I finish the guy in the came through. If you have a great voice on broadcasting. "This is kind of a downer after all the fun. We've been having great and maybe i shouldn't even bring it up but I'll i'll throw it out there because it is on this list from bloody disgusting. Please go check out this list. It was last year's list. It is awesome pretty comprehensive or a ton of movies and it gives a little synopsis on every one of them. we need. Check that out. But i watched a movie from two thousand fifteen called follow okay and it reads a man who receives an early christmas present from his girlfriend. Blacks out only to wake up and a terrifying nightmare k. It's kind of boring. It goes on for a little bit. I mean it starts off. It's it's mysterious. We'll say that okay. Okay and it's it's listen a horror thriller. It's got a weird or about it okay. And i won't tell you a whole lot about it just because you know if you wanna goes check this out. He can this guy. The the main character is names. Noah siegen okay and he's kind of weasley and kinda gets pushed around nice and easy but he was also a knives out. Okay he was in looper and he was in star wars episode The last jedi okay. As an excellent pilot more importantly the director of this is owen. Edgerton oh not. It's not who you think it's not the brother of The the guy from I'm sure it's not now. This guy doesn't have a whole lot under his belt. But i was looking at This noah siegen all right because knives out was directed by ryan johnson. Right who also did looper. And the last jedi i and i think he also did brick cool yes ryan. Johnson also did brick. I have never seen moats good. It's good but this guy is and it is. well noah. Siegen is an all four of these movies that were directed by ryan johnson. I thought that was interesting. Okay but he plays this kind of weasley guy. He's basically a bartender who has a overbearing girlfriend who doesn't like leave the house and they kind of set that up with one freaking line in the film and maybe that's why nobody goes looking for her. I'm not gonna say anything else about that. But most notably. This guy is in this rental house that has a basement and his landlord is none other than dawn. Most donny most a may not recognize dawn..

"Thanks for having me on again. We are so glad you're here. So Sasha tell us about cellphone boosters, beginning with how they work. These boosters generally consists of two or three parts. There's that big antenna, which you want Teo Hood on your roof for on somewhere relatively high up, pointing at the tower. Then there's the booster itself, which cleans and processes. The signal takes noise out, makes it clearer. And then there's a radiating unit that goes inside your house. And it's kind of like a WiFi hot spot. But for cell signal that distributes the signal into your house, most of the cell phone booster manufacturers Either have their own APS. Or they come with instructions on how to use common Third party APS to figure out what frequency band you're connecting to where the appropriate tower is and where to position and you should expect toe have basically a day's worth of futzing with it, pointing in various directions. Until you find the best signal, But then you're set. That's awesome. Do I need a relatively new cell phone? To take advantage of thes or if I have a really old flip phone with a still work as long as your phone supports for G lt and that is Almost all of the phones people are using right now. You should be fine. These boosters actually on ly support the older, more established frequency bands, so the newfangled technologies that have been added in the past two years or so aren't on the boosters at all. So any for G lt phone even if it's an older, lt phone will be fine with these. I see. And you know, most of them Sasha are marketed for making your cellphone conversations much better. But I've also found they work with data, Justus well. Yeah, I primarily think of thumb as speeding data because the difference with the data speeds can be so dramatic and in 2020 We are trying to get Internet into our homes by any means necessary. We're doubling or tripling up our connections. We've got land line D sl coming into our house. But the kids they're zooming on it all day, So you're forced to use your cellular Internet. Whatever something like that, and so speeding up, data in your house becomes much more relevant in 2020, then it may have been earlier. Absolutely. Well, Sasha, I really appreciate you coming on the show this week and talking about cellphone boosters. Thank you. Thanks a lot for having made you very welcome. I was a director of Seagram UK and we were told very early on in the Takeover process that under Ricardo UK who were taking over our business unit wouldn't require the services of many indeed of any people from Seagram and certainly not the director's so I knew quite early on that. I was going to be made redundant dog. Like the the new owners of Seagram, so.

No, there was one earlier on point on the power. Right from this slot. And I really didn't have the clear cut opportunities. That we've seen. Yeah, I think you know credit. Give the stars credit. Since third period of Game one, frankly, Lighting actually won face off. There were not a lot of peace up. There was a lot of whistle free play that first period. "A house full of other apple products. Now they don't make a lot of smart home text, so they have to involve some third party's there. But you should really only think of home kit. If you have iPhones and Max and an apple TV. You're kind of all in in the apple world. I see and serious the worst of the three at general purpose queries. Right. So here's a question for you. If I am moving into a brand new house, and I don't have any smart home tech at all. Where should I turn Apple? Amazon or Google. So you need to think about the brands of the actual smart home devices, which you intend to hook up. And the reason I'm saying that is because there is one big division, which is that if you like nest products, especially than this thermostats, which are very popular, then you need to go with Google. If you like ring, which is a very popular form of video doorbell, you need to go with Amazon. Blink and ring are owned by Amazon Nest is owned by Google. So that can help decide for you. But you also want to look at the different devices, the lighting systems you intend to use. Maybe the smart bathroom fixtures. And look at their compatibility. If everything turns out to be compatible with both. Then I say, Go with Google. It's better at answering queries, and they're faster it adding new figures to But some people may want to stick with Alexa because some particular brand of bathroom faucet or smart oven Still hasn't put in the Google compatibility. Oh, that is such a great point. Say that you get a place. And the former owner has left all his smart home tech behind. Should you ditch all that stuff? Or should you try to use it? Are you safer? Getting your own brand new devices than you would inheriting Smart home check once things are factory reset. Smart Home Tech does not generally hold a lot of information in itself. Once you factory reset a device set up a new cloud account and attack it to the new cloud account. You have unhooked it from a previous owners connections. Oh, I see. Yeah, This is very different from selling a laptop, which may have information residing on the hard drive. It's much more like selling a TV or refrigerator. Where once you move it to the new place and you hook it up to your service. It's talking to your service. It's not talking to the old owner service. Okay. Speaking of security, we hear a lot About the risk that hackers Khun get into your smart home tech. Is that a real concern? Sasha, It is absolutely a real concern, but not in the way that many people think it is almost all of the time. The way the hackers get into this smart home tech Is by cracking the passwords on the cloud accounts. They don't drive by your house and use, you know, special snoopers toe access your home. What they're doing is they're using collections of passwords that were stolen through other means and plugging them into the ring website or the nest website. And then logging into your account that way, And then they were able to hack into your account from far away without even coming anywhere near your house, and the best way you can protect against that, of course, is use a complex, unique password on your smart home cloud accounts that is not shared with especially ah large mainstream email or shopping passwords. That might have been in some of these data breaches. We'll Sasha clearly I could talk to you all day, but I better let you go. Thank you so much for joining us today. "Jomar Folio Joe. How're you doing what's happening? Hey glad to be here for that. Awesome intro man. This is the first time we live interview on the show before which is which is really exciting. I love comic'll boards in the back. So dead man just waiting for the two club exit. Come in the mail to even out the set so it's GonNa be awesome. Joe One last Last week he said he got one which is pretty cool so all right so obviously. We don't have a ton of time but a lot of questions for you. So inside of the Traffic Secrets Book is a whole chapter on Youtube traffic. And most of it I pull from you because you are. The Guy who on our team is doing stuff and And you've done such an amazing job and so most of the things are are there from you and so This is kind of to teach people about what's happening inside the book but also just get them to know you and understanding Youtube. So why do you think different than all the other platforms? That are that are out there. You instagram facebook twitter. Take all of a sudden like why is youtube like why are you so passionate about you too? You know so. It like a facebook instagram. And see a of people like it's very It's sometimes easier for them to build a big following on facebook or instagram. The kind of go to youtube and they struggle a little bit. And it's because you to isn't just a social media platform. It is a social media platform. It's also a search engine where people are searching for certain certain topics searching how to do something but you also have to do with you too is not only put up content that engaging that people wanNA watch that has value but you also have to add kind of a story element to it in the one thing that you don't want to do and I see people do. This is kind of repurpose. Your content like say you have constantly putting up facebook and instagram. Our podcast in you like you distribute to all these different channels. If you put on Youtube a lot of times you're going to find. It's not going to get that much traction and think about youtube like this like when you watch you to be set like you guys are out there and you're watching. Youtube. Why do you subscribe to a certain channel? You're going to subscribe right. Maybe you'll they're showing you how to make money online or how to grow your right. But there's a ton of videos on there that talk about like how to go to your instagram channel. But it's like what makes you subscribe. WanNa Watch somebody. It's going to be their personalities can be the way the engaged with you and it's going to be the way the content comes across so what. I would say for Youtube. The differences is treat you to like. It's its own thing. Make videos just for you to try to approach it not as a marketer but as a creator not you're gonNA sell anything but that you're going to like build your audience and you following. Yeah one of my favorite things about Youtube is talked about in the book a little bit like every every social platform. I'd say facebook live like we're doing right now. It's happening and then like it'll drop. It'll be here for next couple of days. It'll drop down the news feed and eventually disappears. Nobody'll ever siegen whereas youtube is like the only platform where you create something and then it grows over time because not just social social and it search and that's why it's so it's it's different 'cause you create something if you create the right way then it sits there and to grow throughout time as opposed to everything else was seems to diminish over time and so it gives at least for me. Who's WHO's creating stuff. It gives me more incentive craigslist. It's nice because it lasts beyond the moment whereas facebook live. Is there for a moment? Then it's gone where youtube it can last for for forever. I mean like. We talked about earlier. Overcome Nagasaki Videos overcoming pornography addiction? Like they still get hundreds and hundreds of US every single month. We don't even sell the product anymore which is probably sad. Because you're an affiliate making money when I know that video. I think I think you're screech out when you were doing. The bucket has hundreds of clicks on their in what it does the content builds on each other. So you put the video video out three years ago in if you keep putting contin out. It's like you're gonNA keep getting lead you're going to keep getting people subscribing watching your stuff like you said yet just doesn't disappear is built on up into the question. This is off the questions that you sent me as pre questions. I'm excited about this one. I hope that's okay. I'm GonNa put you on the spot a little bit but I think a lot of times. People think youtube strategies like okay. I've got to make the most perfect video in the world. And you look at companies like dollarshaveclub drive for example Where they made this video goes crazy viral and then built the company up and then he sells to whoever sold for a billion dollars right. And so we're like okay. I've got to make the perfect youtube video and my people stress about and because they never actually make something at all versus like you told me book example talked about the strategy like Gillette or or other things like that we talked about that because that's a strategy that more people like me can actually do of not like going to make the perfect video instead. It's looking at it a little bit differently. We talked about how how how led to their strategy. How we can use that as well. Yeah so so. Here's thing when you guys are starting your Youtube Channel. Think of it like in the first thing you WanNa do is really go deep in unique whatever you're doing like so for example. Gillette what they did was. They didn't go out there and say well they did. They try to make a viral video like dollar shave club in a flat rate. So what they did was they said. Listen we want to dominate for the keyword? How to shave because people that watch how to shave videos by our product right to the shave your head how to save your back at a shave your legs right needed. All these videos that got hundreds thousands millions of US and they were very targeted to their subscribers. So the thing I would tell people is figure out what your knee. Shas figure out. What you're you're going to go after and go deep in that niche handle like the way you explained the whole blue ocean strategy and expert secrets Because you know the one thing you don't WanNa do is go and look at someone has a million subscribers and then follow what they do right so like say you're doing because you know they've already been established they already have a huge audience. Say you're doing Amazon. So you WANNA do is go through. Amazon. Say Okay. Make videos on Amazon Amazon. Fbi on Amazon drop shipping on Amazon affiliate and they go through hit every every time anything that would searching for Amazon. You WanNa make a video on and it doesn't have to be a perfect video like you said it just has to be engaging enough to get to get retention but doesn't have to be this high production video but we don't want to do is you don't WanNa make a video on Amazon video on how to make money online. Then make a video on procrastination and then they video on the current right you you want. You wanted to. If you're just starting like you want to create like this this is traffic lean. That Youtube knows okay. When Joe put the video out it's going to be on Amazon and then the then they'll start showing your video for more to more and more people that search like the Amazon stuff and then you could expand out there

"Siegen just seeing that he was at knowing their react. I enjoy it. You as well you as well, Richard thanks for the call, by the way. Alien the use your care drive on your rose, use your schools and take your job. Millions of illegal alien. It's time for LARs is illegal. Well, and this is a great one. Usually, I bring you some bad news about some of the things that have been done by illegal aliens and usually illegal things on top of being here early illegally. But Donald Trump wants to build a wall on our border. There's already hundreds of miles of wall on our border. But we have some big gaps and coming through those gaps right now, an estimated one and a half million illegals this year, a hundred thousand will be arrested just this month. So we need to get that wall up as quickly as possible something that Donald Trump's Republican friends on Capitol Hill did not understand Paul Ryan. I think lied to the president and promised to get the funding for the wall. Now, the Democrats have defied President Trump by saying we're only gonna give you a pittance will now a US construction company and we've reached out to them down in Arizona. This company is making a. Formal unsolicited bid to the Trump administration saying we will build two hundred eighteen miles a wall along the US Mexico border, and we'll do it for three billion dollars. And they say they'll have the entire job completed in one year and one month thirteen months Arizona-based, Fisher industries, president Tommy Fisher plans to meet this week with top officials of the department of homeland security along with believe it or not Democrats, and of course, Republicans to sell his plan DHS needs a contractor to build the border fence as fast as possible without compromising the quality offense. The ideal contractor would build the border fence faster of higher quality and less cost than any other. Contractor Fisher Santa gravel is that contractor Fisher industries officials wrote an official paper version of the proposal. I think if they're offering to get it done. I would love to see the wall built. Under competitive bidding under a number of different companies. But if one company says, we can get two hundred miles put up in thirteen months, and that two hundred miles has been placed where it will do the most good then why not I would love to see that happen, by the way. There's a new report out tonight. From ABC news about that. Ethiopian Airlines, Boeing seven thirty-seven max jet crash. I told you that this was pilot error. It was not a fault of the plane. In fact, I believe that those planes should not have been grounded here in the United States. Now, here's what they're reporting from ABC as the jet was nosediving, the seven thirty seven max pilots did not try to electronially pull the nose the plane up before following Boeing's emergency procedures of disengaging power to the horizontal stabilizer in the back of the aircraft. One source tells ABC news they manually attempted to bring the nose the plane backup by using the trim wheel. We've talked about the trim wheel on this program before soon after the pilots restored power to horizontal stabilizer with the power back on that M caste system that's designed to prevent stalls high high-speed, well, it reengaged and the pilots were unable to regain control in the plane crashed. I told you I had John Nance on the show. A man who flew in Vietnam for the military flew in the first Gulf war for the military flew for a couple of decades for commercial airlines. He diagnosed this within a day or two of when this all started weeks.

"Show, Dr Joel con interventional cardiologists bestselling author founder of the Greenspace cafe and Greenspace to go. I think is what the other one is called there on the edge of Birmingham. He is going to talk to us about healthy eating in twenty nine thousand nine hundred. It's always a good topic. Hurry. It sure is healthy eating, and he'll have some interesting ideas. You know what? The I've read up on this stuff to get ready one of the hottest things going right now. And it's funny because sofi actually keeps me on top of this stuff because she is a vegan or Siegen Siegen. Maybe as what she calls it because she eats fish. Okay. But generally vegan, but she's been very hot on oatmeal. Oh, yes. It is. It is very much unpacked. My daughter was in for the Christmas holiday, and she bought some of it, very very popular say that these nine dairy milk. So they they can't call a milk really their spelling AM y L ks in some cases, but the non dairy milk like almond and coconut have been big over the past five years, but they say oatmeal can is going to outpace both of them by this year. I wonder if you get now. I didn't read up on this. Because she like I said she bought it. And she wanted everybody to tasted you tasted. I ended in coffee, and it was fine. Yeah. You know, what I like almond milk and stuff? So I don't have a problem is always used either soy milk or milk. Right. I wonder if you get the benefits, you know, how Oaten lower. Catch the benefits of that? I think that's the point. I do believe that you you do get the benefits and as long as you're not alert. There are no allergens unless you're allergic to oats. But other than that. The people who say they are gluten free is there. Maybe I'm showing my I don't know. I don't. I don't see if food item item they say that for example, Oatley a brand from Sweden has increased their production of its own melt by twelve hundred and fifty percents since two thousand seventeen. And Quaker the brand that's practically synonymous with oats here. Just released its own version of oatmeal to it's called beverage, and they should be hitting the grocery stores right now. It says while owed milk is relatively low in calories compared to other non dairy beverages. It has a high carbohydrate content. So it's not suitable for those looking to cut carbs. People are still trying to get cards, aren't they? Yeah, they are. In this talk more with Dr Joel con about this coming up at seven forty six. But it goes on to say bread is back. It's okay prebiotics will be the new probiotics tahini will be the new almond butter. Elderberry is going to be popular. Those are all good. I mean, they're tasty. And all that can anybody tell me how anybody can be so stupid, and I I'm not supposed to say stupid as so for us to say as a as a little kid daddy. We don't say stupid. Okay. Can anybody be so stupid to be doing this bird box challenge? Talk about a bird brained idea the bird brained challenge. I just saw them run a video on the today show. They must've run the thing five times in a row of what appears to be a mother and her two children, and she has them both blindfolded, and they're running from run room to the other and the littlest baby who three four maybe I don't even know if they're that old runs directly into a wall face, I because they have they have the the blinders on the they've got their eyes covered being bird brained, and these parents should know better and police are warning. I mean, east point place I had it in. My story is point police are asking people not to do this. There are pictures on social media of there's one in particular of two young women blindfolded taking a selfie in the middle of a street. Unbelievable. What is wrong with us as a people that we fall prey to this as sheep wool? We're all a bunch of sheep oil following the social media. Click. Click click click click. Like like like like like, oh, by the way, people really there. We are absolutely right here, by the way, there's a mayor COPA here. I still love the film love actually. But I realized that I've only seen it on airplanes in over the holiday. I saw the real film, and there was nudity in it that I had no idea was there in I've got nothing against nudity. But if I tell people about a film, and they should see it. I generally warn them in case, they don't like nudity in a film. Well, the playing movie the movie I saw on the airplane have any nudity hit no idea all of this stuff out. I'm watching it on television. Shame. Oh my gosh. I hope I didn't say this is a great family Christmas show. I would I don't think ever said that. No, I did not say family. And is telling me, well, why didn't you say anything to me? And she just said, I thought you've I thought you lost your mind because I saw it at home and saw the nudity. You should've told me I didn't I would have gone on forever. Not knowing there was nudity in love, actually because I saw it twice on airplanes. But I just saw F A theater. But the one I said for families was the new christmasy one with. Golly. Remember that? What would I call it? Brian you always remember this stuff. Yeah. I said it would be the new family classic that one. I saw on television. It was lovely Christmas. Chronicles that one. That's the one I pushed I love that pushed Christmas chronicles as a great new family tradition. That was a very good movie. Really sweet and full of you know, just kind of that wonder of Christmas, no nudity. No nudity. Santa was last year. It was last year that I was pushing love actually, I did mention it this year. But I didn't mention it as a family love to fly on the wall. When you discover the started screaming, I can I could see a Paul W Smith reaction. I couldn't believe that that was in there. And I never knew it because I pay only saw it on airplanes. All right. That's the trouble with being on airplanes so much, and depending on that for your social media and your movies already seven message and data rates may apply..
