Waiting on God (Psalm 69:3)

"So chapter sixty nine verse three. I am weary with my crying out. My throat is parched. My eyes grow them with waiting for my god. What a verse. That last phrase my eyes grow damn with waiting for my god so over this last year and i write about this on. The previous episodes were praying through psalm. Sixty eight so over this last year i have been my family has been waiting to go in and pick up A child that we've been matched with for adoption another country. We were three days away from going to take him up our bags packed and everything when the world started to shut down for covid. And we've been waiting over a year now and and are not sure when that door is going to open up and in the middle of it all. I have read a book that i would. Highly recommend to anyone by andrew murray. It's kind of like a a devotional is just short chapters and the title is waiting on god and it's so helpful not just in thinking about waiting amidst different ages situations we face in this role about how the christian life is a life of waiting on god meaning trusting in god resting in the faithful provision of think isaiah chapter forty those who wait on the lord shall renew their strength shall mount up with wings like eagles and run not grow weary and walk and not be faint in that interesting like the key to running walking without being weary. Fainting is waiting on. God is trusting in god. And that's the picture here in psalm. Chapter sixty nine verse three. The psalm is just saying very honestly i am weary with crying out

What Inflation and Retail Sales Are Telling Us About the Economic Recovery

"Katherine. Let me start with you And the headline number of the week obviously inflation it was big Part of that's because last year was so lousy But there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth. And i'm curious as to as to your take on the whole thing. My general view is look. It could be the case that eventually. We'll get some some greater heating up the economy and maybe some scarier inflation. I guess. But i wouldn't freak out yet. It looks like based on the numbers that we've seen that prices are picking up not because there's too much money sloshing around not because of loose fiscal or monetary policy so much as a bunch of like weird idiosyncratic shocks and supply chain issues. Things that unlike that are unlikely on their own to lead to self sustaining inflation. Things that seem temporary transitory. So like used car prices skyrocketing because there's a chip shortage and so it's hard to get new cars and rental car agencies need to restock their fleets and stuff like that and you know gas prices. More recently. Getting pushed upward because of the pipeline. Shut down things that will eventually

Make sure before you leave when you're done go everywhere and make sure all your rooms or blue and get the treasure because you will not be able to come back and i left some treasure behind thinking that i would be able to in my leisure wander around and find that stuff but no so became just game see to just accept the fourth wall break and look you once you leave here. You're knocking coming back ever for a long time. It's hot and these eh. Do that for big boss battles like this is the point of no return but not individual chapters sandwiches relevant to your interest. I've actually looked. And i haven't found a good guide for turning the rooms blue then making sure you find these items so funny. That is the the the thing. I pitched at our guides. I was like just help people on turn the rooms. Yeah and that's so true so we're or we're actually doing it. I think it's gonna be up today but it's really funny because there are things that you need to do to do that. Which you can't figure out when you're in there like i figure out like break all the bases you open all the drawers. That's the easy stuff. But these darn crystals you can shut off the walls an example and there's other too and there's there's a big treasurer in the dungeon of the castle. It's totally optional. Even Criminal Enterprises Have Reputations to Think About

"Fbi says a group called dark side was behind the ransomware attack that forced colonial pipeline to shut down its operations last week. Dark side is believed to have roots in eastern europe possibly russia and is fairly new but like a lot of these ransomware groups. It's pretty pr savvy. It's got a mailing list press releases a hotline for victims. It's a topic for quality assurance where we take a second. Look at a big tech story. Brian krebs is an investigative journalist for krebs unsecurity. Then he wrote a story this week walking through a dark side negotiation with another recent victim. Who wants reassurance that if they pay the ransom the hackers will actually give them their data back and won't sell or share it with anyone during the exchange. The hacker says basically ask around well. In general ransomware groups need to maintain a reputation right and they try very hard to excel at things like customer service and they do talk about their victims as customers. Which is you know galling. But that's the way they look at it and they're they're available twenty four seven if you want to talk to him and if you if you pay them They may even give you a report on how they broke it. And what you need to do to fix your stuff. It's so weird on one hand these are seemingly some of the least trustworthy but on the other hand they're kind of asking these what unquote customer to trust them. We will do what we say. How do they build that. Trust well through a mix of coercion and threats it practical terms these contracts that they have that they come cobble together with their end zone where people they're not worth the pixels displayed on right. "shut down" Discussed on First Take

"Was over I never believed them I. Don't believe them. Now I didn't believe him in the aftermath of the George. Floyd. Killing It is what it is his the situation and it's very, very simple These owners blackballed Colin cap and they did so unfairly nevertheless. I really felt that he should have shown up for that workout because I thought it would have put immense pressure upon the NFL since they had twenty five to twenty, six teams in attendance and all thirty two teams would have seen video and obviously it have been publicized because the world was watching that Colin Cabinet going out there and working in front of NFL, officials NFL teams instead of snubbing his nose at them you know because of it I think that they would have felt they would have felt compelled to do something a matter of fact I report it right here on I take in studio that if Collin Cabinet showed up to the workout. He would have had a job within two weeks I was told that directly and I firmly believe that would have been the case because I don't think they would have had any choice I. think there were people misconstrued right now when they look at what Roger Goodell has had to say Roger Goodell saying we should have listened to a meaning that when he was taking a knee for the national anthem, he never should have been blackballed. He never should have been ostracized. The owner should have been more receptive to supporting him rather than ostracizing him I think that's what Roger Goodell. But. Roger Goodell hasn't kept him out of the League Roger. Goodell hasn't discouraged NFL owners from bringing him on their roster. They have told Roger Goodell that's essentially not what they want to do whether tacitly otherwise, that is the situation. So am I surprised at all no pk saying what he said, no disrespect me P carroll but that doesn't mean a damn thing to me. You can say that in hindsight after all of this stuff in the aftermath of George, fluids killing has taken. Place, it doesn't amount to a hill of beans you could have signed him, but you didn't everybody had an opportunity to sign them instead point to that initial report where the owners thought that they will lose twenty percent of their gate in the event that he did. It was wrong. It was a Rony is, but that's what they felt. They used it as an excuse and it is what it is. I'm not surprised about this at all are predicted it and sure enough it's happened. Well, and that's why you have to be willing to make great sacrifice to make change I mean he sacrifices potentially and those who are saying, Hey, you might not have career who's willing to take that risk. Though he wanted to play in the NFL and continues to want to apparently you and I very much disagree about the Tryout Stephen A. Because the waiver they wanted him to sign was not their normal waiver. I've seen a normal waiver I seen the differences they made the changes they made to it, and to me it was obviously is a transparent ploy to get him to sign away certain rights and they could waive certain liability. And smuggle that in in the guise of a workout. Now, if you've had a source and you have very good sources. That say, Hey, would have job within two weeks unless that's coming from a team we already know the League is impotent apparently to get him hired right now let's talk a so. So if the League is telling you that what do they know they'd like to hope but how how could they know they can make it wasn't the league in this case, it wasn't illegal. Got It. Yup Yup Yup. In terms of the teams look any GM knows that there are. There are quarterbacks of the sixty four who were either starting backing up presuming team doesn't have three. That aren't as good as Colin Kaepernick. He's better than some of those backups even now you would think he'd be better than some of them, and then he's better than a bunch of them and maybe even better than the couple of the starters at the time even though he'd regressed especially the way the League has changed since then maybe he's even more value. than he was at the time where he was media bubble starter. So if I know that we all know that don't. Know that of course, they do so what's stopping them from signing him ownership and the only question then is, is it each individual owner acting alone or there been collusion? I mean, that's really the only question. If it's collusion that's illegal. If it's each individual owner acting by themselves, I think that points out that the owners are almost all white and there are no African American owners and the reason for that is not the African American people are intrinsically worse at making money or like football less it's because of the history of this country. And oppression of black people that's why per capita the income levels are lower and you have fewer billionaires even per capita as much fewer many fewer as relative to the population. So so that's the reason and irony is capture. Nick is basically protesting racial injustice and that same racial injustices entrenched a power structure that has kept them out of the League if it hasn't been collusion. I think we all agree on the situation with cabinet way back started started with governing. There's no doubt that this was not. Wasn't a league thing. This was an owner thing. Do do each of your point I agree with. The League doesn't elite doesn't. Say Doesn't say, Hey, you know bring this guy in don't bring that guy in thirty two are individually operated. Believe me I've seen the way we've negotiated with them and and some of them don't enjoy each other's company. So there you know they all had the opportunity. To bring him in. If they wanted to do they decided they didn't want to bring. They didn't take Roger Goodell telling them or someone else they each made a decision he wasn't worth whatever it was. They were going to have to give up or sacrifice for. Goodell's come back and said, they were wrong in the way they handled it but do both of your points whether it be deep carol or Anthony Land with Joe whoever it is everybody said plenty of opportunity to bring them in. They decided they haven't the difficulty for me is now you're talking about three and four years since you played, it does become more difficult even this year when you know on on the on the heels of George Lloyd's death if you will talking about bringing him in, we all talked about it then is what are you going to bring him in as to your point Max east probably more valuable now because the way the League is shifted. Three or four years ago but he hasn't played. He does and so do do you bring him in as two or three and what kind of value can he adds to me? I would have thought it would have been interesting to bring him in to a place like Seattle or or the Ravens or somewhere else like that where they are using. Movement of the quarterback and those types of things. Now, New England's kind of move to that. So he can even have discussions with quarterback because I did watch him I was with the packers when he was running up and down the field in San Francisco innocous out of the playoffs. So he would be able to contribute. It's not on the field as much as in the meeting rooms at first, but at least you'll be. Able to see what he can do on the field I. I think the easy out now is what every coach said he's been out. So long it's not worth the risk of bringing back. He hasn't played in so long you know how long would it take him to bring it up in a Da- all those things which are valid when you're guys being out of the League but it's unfortunate away this whole thing laid out. Yeah it's it's beyond unfortunately I'm smart owner give him a job and history will smile on them out of proportion to the actual courage of the moment because he deserves deserved. Let's see if he's still has it at least a look at least try them out that he deserves and some smart owner who wants to be on the right side of history. Should should at least give him a look? Tommy nineteen seventy nine one of the greatest regular season games in. Nfl history. The cowboys come back from thirty four to twenty one down. Roger Starbuck two touchdown drives thirty five. Thirty four final day of the season in one thousand. Nine hundred seventy nine the redskins go from being. Potentially the number one seed to being out of the playoffs. Altogether the cowboys win the division. The redskins go home and on the final play that game thighs men hit don worn over the middle to the Cowboy. Forty yard line About about the forty one yard line. Two seconds on the clock. They're screaming time out. They never give him the time out back then. Timing was imprecise. You know who's no tenth of seconds there was no replay to go back to save time. Should be put on the clock. They waved it off. It was Dallas's timekeeper. The game ended in mark. Moseley during that whole off season said I would have made that kick would have been a fifty eight yarder but if you if you try if I'd been on that field if they stop that clock and put those two seconds back on I would have made that kick and we would have won that game and we would have won the division and gone on to win the Super Bowl so now charging can say God. I think they might you know because what if they were to cancel today and it comes out over the weekend that like miraculously were seeing these cases. Start to peek now or something like that. That's why they're shutting down the tourists this all last ditch effort to say all right if we send all of these teams home right now. Nobody contracts it and maybe we can try to have the tournament. I don't think it'll happen. I don't think they're shutting down this tournament because you're trying to save next week. I think they're shutting down the tournament because they they've been told they gotta shut down the tournament. You can't have you know and we're because we're just waiting now on a potential positive test. I they may not cancel the NC Double A. Tournament today but I would imagine Saturday happen Again maybe maybe what they're hoping for is some encouraging news from our health. People all right Last word is about stamps. Dot Com. Look now you definitely don't want to go to the post office all right Running a business keeping your business on schedule takes a lot of time sometimes earn enough hours in the day..

"But it's an experience okay. All right and I'd highly recommend it. There are some recommendations uncut gems and mother and a couple of givens. Like if you've never I had a friend of mine told me the other day is never watched breaking bad. I said Oh come on dude. That's like that's me with the wire like I know I totally missed out on the wire and I'm GonNa get to one of these days but you gotta get to breaking bad But but we've given to movie recommendations All right I wanted to get to some sports here for a moment So there are several redskins related stories yesterday which were interesting. I'm I'M GONNA. I'm GonNa give you the thing that I saw yesterday. it's the shortest breeder you know Wrote a story about the Redskins in the interest potentially in two. He was then on the radio station yesterday with be Mitch in Scotland as well but in his In the story in the comment section there were a couple of questions that he answered and I found one of the answers. Very interesting somebody asked Albert breer from the NFL network. Right Alber SL. I forget now Albert sl SL. I think he's eat took over Mike Silverstone network young over to Peter. King em empty beds right. I think yes so Somebody asked breer is Washington really considering drafting to a rather than drafting chase. Young and breezy answer was as follows. He said He said he talked to somebody close in the he said one person there. I'm sorry one person there meaning in at Redskins Park One person. There said to me when I asked about kicking the tires onto a chunk of Loa they said while dwayne. Haskins is on the roster. We have to make sure we're not passing on Michael Jordan closed quote thought. That was interesting because it would. It would seem to sort of mean that the two thing is might be primarily for posturing might be primarily just to find out if somebody wants to trade up with the with that team really really is trading up four but at the same time if they interview the sky if they work them out on his pro day if he's healthy and clears all the medical and they think he's the next Michael Jordan they can't pass on them with Sam Mbui on their team. You know like sacred. Sambu was the ultimate you know number two pick of the Portland Trailblazers in Nineteen eighty-four all right and then and then Portland takes buoy because why because they had Clyde Drexler on the team all right and so they already had a player at that position that they thought was really really good. Well the problem with that is Jordan was much better than Drexler. No by the way could have played with drexler at this time But you can't pass on Michael Jordan. And hopefully they hopefully. They're thinking that way like if they're blown away by this they absolutely should consider. This is a possibility you know in boroughs. They're number two which I don't think he's going to be there at number two but they should absolutely Consider that As a possibility and then there was this story in sports illustrated SL DOT COM Written by Kaelin Taylor. I don't know if that's a male or female or you know perhaps something else I don't know who he or. She is But this person wrote about to what to Washington question mark and then wrote a story. Where here's the money quote quote? I don't think this is from somebody Familiar with the organization's thinking quote I don't think Washington owner. Dan Snyder would want that. He wants to give Haskins the opportunity and I think Dan is infatuated with chase. Young closed quote said that came out yesterday and got a bunch of attention as well. I'll let you respond first. Then I'll respond. What do you make that quote okay? Well let's go back to the first thing About what Alpers said The problem with that is is to us. Medical is more Sam Buoy. Then then Michael Tour really good point. Excellent point you know and and to me I'm not.

"He's an NBA player. Child the audio with being the reports are he was doing that in the locker room as well messing with people's teammates stuff. And you know things like that really. Yeah do we know that to be a factor is that just people are sort of. Won't said hold on. Let me pull up the exact wording of the tweet. Tha was Jess Donovan. Mitchell has tested positive for the corona virus leak sources tell ESPN jazz players privately. Say that bear had been careless in the locker room touching other players and their belongings now adjust. He made his tested positive. You know what that that that am? I wrong to consider this to be potential criminal behavior. He didn't know yet. The virus it is. We can't yeah I mean I. I look in favor of holding people accountable. But you're right you're right. I mean if he knew he had the virus it could be. Yeah but He aided no any idiot. What a working idiot. It's one thing to joke around with the media that day and even that is is a bit over the top but to go around putting your hands on on players in being careless in the locker room. We're over the last few days even for you know. Even though they probably didn't see a shutdown coming they were all probably trying to practice decent personal hygiene you know and and as much as they can when they're playing a professional sport. What a moron. I mean your expectations had to be low. We're in a town where there was almost a gunfight in a locker room players down where a player a poop in. Somebody's shoe yeah Well I mean if there's no sport so there was one other thing a I want somebody to give us like a projected timeline. You know they're putting. Our lives have changed significantly raw hopeful that her chain that our lives are going to go back to the way they were but over the last couple of days in particular. We are living different lives than we were a week and a half ago I. You can't debate that everybody is Regardless of whether your perspective is that this is you know overrated. Or we were overreacting or under reacting. Or you're terrified or your disconcerted or your your blase about. It doesn't matter your we your life the way you knew it has changed at least in the short term and the economy's being impacted that obviously affects all of us as well. I would just like to hear from somebody. Hey look your lives have been affected. They've been changed this social distancing very important for the foreseeable futures. Were asking you to essentially change your lives in some cases. Put your lives on hold in some cases in many cases. Put your livelihood on hold But we think that by this date we will have reached potential peak and things will be able to go back to normal if you're going to ask people to do this. Which by the way it's for the good of mankind if you're GONNA ask people to do this. Don't you need a bit of time? Line even if it's just a projection and you you you disclaim it. You're like of course. This is a guess but right now as as a citizen in this country. I don't know if we're talking about days months or years have no idea do you know no?.

"W. e. product relies on live event right people. There's one event that relies. It's funny with the way that the TV deals have worked. The Debbie no longer relies on live events and in fact live events are very small but wrestlemanias three weeks which is the one event that they make a good chunk of their yearly profit on. I mean you know where it's Wrestlemainia Tampa. That's not happening. No that's not happening. What's happening you know? It was thinking this morning. You know. We're we're we talk about school that's not GonNa Happen. Well Maske reported today that the NFL is probably going to have an announcement later on today. About what their plans are. Forget about the draft. Because that's still six weeks away. You Know Free Agency starts on Tuesday and it requires a lot of travel. And also you've got a Lotta pro day's coming up as well for the college players in so you know it's very possible the League is going to you know suspend all of those or push back on the calendar a lot of those dates which may lead to the draft being postponed in scheduled for another But you know first of all the all I think we're all in agreement now and you're ahead of this thing yesterday. I'll give you all the credit in the world per usual all right. You said tournament. There's not going to be a tournament so you're right about that. It's going to take one positive test with anybody. Somebody not feeling. Well they write it. I mean it's not social. Distancing is the primary focus right now from all of these health people. They need to close these conference tournaments off now right now. They've already made him so that people can attend them. But just shut it down in general. "You know that maybe the the the damage could have been diminished If not with better preparation I mean you should be pretty angry about that. Yeah I know and you know there are also some people that would say that closing the borders to China immediately before a lot of other people would. Actually you know put us into a better position to at least get into the situation. We're in now. Which clearly you know the big takeaway look. We don't know anything you know what's worse I soon as me. Is that the people that are supposed to know that. They're not even completely sure about this thing. But the one thing we heard yesterday the one thing that became very clear. Is that this concept of social. Distancing is crucial right now like sauce. Social distancing is why right now you know. Our Beloved Sports are shutting down. You know I can't tell you if it's necessary or not. No none of you listening in know for sure if it's necessary you have to when it comes to something like this you gotTa have you know. Trust you know in the people that That understand this stuff. But the social distancing you know is the big takeaway for me yesterday. They're trying to slow it not stop it. But slow in slowing. It seems to be slowing. The spread seems to be the most important thing to those that know about what's happening because it will essentially allow our healthcare system to get better prepared to potentially build more hospitals But at a minimum get more medicine. Get more supplies get more ventilators? Get more mass. Get more gloves you know. Whatever else they need this is what's the concern is that our hospitals are going to be overrun and people who are going to be in need of a ventilator as an example aren't going to get one and are going to get sick or seriously sick or even die unnecessarily. That seems to me to be why this thing has accelerated incredibly over. The last couple of days is that. There's this understanding that the math says that this thing's going to grow exponentially in terms of the cases that we don't even really know what the number of cases are and that we're not going to be able to handle it from a healthcare standpoint and by slowing it down through this social distancing will be able to get better prepared to handle it from a healthcare standpoint. I think that's how I learned yesterday. I mean I agree that seems to be the only defense right now is is people saying away from from large groups but Kevin. It's it's it's hard to avoid the politics of this. I'm sorry Put everything in talked about building temporary hospitals. You know having enough supplies available. That should have been discussed last night. That should have come up last night. You know Like activating the National Guard The medical units all the National Guard to help deal with the overflow having temporary hospitals.

"Very short runway there. And if there was any slip-up Dwight was GONNA be gone. It's the same thing for dion waiters here like if if they decide to go in this direction and I and I think is a better fit. I just saw him almost single. Handedly beat the clippers in this game. Okay he'd been exiled on waiters island and they put them in there because the heat had some injuries. He almost beat the clippers himself. He's been playing in the NBA. He's not quite in the same kind of shape of the as you would be if you'd be playing every night but Dion waiters is exactly what the Lakers needed in. That he's a guy who can create his own shot and is not dependent on Lebron James. Get him a bucket and that is what you need when you get into the playoffs. So whatever was said in that thirty minutes with when he met with the Lakers. Brass is going to determine whether dion waiters is. The Guy If he's not the guy that I think they go. Jr Smith Just because Lebron knows everybody's come from with his skill set but I think headed jr in terms of ability. And what they need. Well and to your point. He's played more recently. He's also younger than Jr. And he defends right like Jr was a good defender when you when he was in Cleveland but he hasn't played in what over a year. So I think that there's a lot of Russ there for I understand in I'M GONNA. I'm just something I heard about his workout. Okay apparently as soon as Jerry Smith started shooting. He hit like twenty three in a row. That is never going to leave him. I don't think about but there's one thing about shooting in an md. Jim Or even working out one on one with somebody or a couple of guys and actually playing in the NBA and look the reality is this particular spot is break glass in case of emergency. Okay because they have a deep rotation as it is and I go into a twelve man rotation but this person will be needed if they get into foul trouble in the playoffs. Maybe to help load manage some guys down the stretch and then if somebody gets hurt. Here's what I think is important though is they. They need to make this decision and I understand waiting until March second because he gets bought out. But you have the roster spot if you get somebody in there that you need to have some time to see if it's GonNa work sure right so you have dion or you have. Jr whoever it is. It doesn't work out. You can cut him and sign the next one. Sure Sign Peter's players not going to be the difference between weather rather than there's there's there's no upside to waiting anymore. Yeah no you gotTa make a move at some point and it gives you a nice runways. You pointed out all right this just in at the. Buzzer the nets down. That Kyrie Irving underwent season ending surgery on his right shoulder. Tuesday Clinton should Brooklyn fans be cool with sacrificing this season for next one K. D. and Kyrie are in theory at full strength? I think so you gotta turn over. What seven more guys? According to what he said or the season messing around at this point you know what they gotta do in order to get things. They've been that much better with Kyrie this year. Not Really I mean right now. They're the sacrificial lamb right against Milwaukee. Yeah Yeah I don't know if it matters all that much right now with. Kyra they they want to win big. Yeah but why? Why not just go for them class by yeah no. I think they do. They definitely want to play. I don't think that's fans are thinking that that's going to go that far. No No. You're right right again. It's just a sacrificial sacrificial lamb situation but yeah anyway that'll do it for us. Thanks to Ramona. Help them up though. I think I just didn't even talk. He was that bad. I thought that was no. It was Dirk Nowitzki for me. It wasn't a dream on on Stephen Adams. Cj was called for an offensive foul. This play you didn't like it. Ref goes to team up in. Martha's zonja grabs the refs farms and try to prevent it. Bad move there Clinton you like the effort from Rei do and this might not sound like the best take in the world. But I there is room for me to touch a referee. I don't need every wrestling acting like they just got shot every single time. Somebody gets a hand on them like it to me. There is something to be said for person person ability and I realize this might not be the situation but look putting a hand on somebody. Context of that is not the same thing we saw it in the WBZ as well. He didn't punch him. He didn't do anything like that. It's like to me. It's not that big of a deal. "Or what gets voted on i think i we don't know yet who is going to get blamed and with no with anticipating blame is the whole is like it if he percent of what's happening released ron you think though them the media not to get mad at here about the media plays into that someone jellies the question is always will you senate democrats shut down the government over and over and i'm not saying having opposed doesn't do this as well but that's always that the way it's framed is that they would be it would be their fault i i think the media actually is unintentionally carrying water for the house freedom caucus position right now and it's know they don't really need to but that's what's happening and that could shape the public perception of the outcome but i i don't personally think it's necessarily an accurate description of what of what's going on like republicans control both chambers in control the content of the legislation the put on the floor in his chambers yeah and i mean is they wanted to vote on something to do with dhaka it really wouldn't be all that hard for them to do it i'm all this stuff is really complicated laker said before but there are a bunch of bills that have existed for a really long time that are gone a bunch of votes in the past uh that dino they could put up one of those the there's this bipartisan group that a currently they have i believe seven republicans who said that they would support their this deal um and so if you get every single democrat that means that euro 56 votes so pretty close to passing the senate um you know it's a different question the house but there are options but instead there just holding these meetings and taking forever and not coming to any sort of solution um i think the democrats are frustrated at how long this is taking trump ended this program in early september and a lot of republicans are acting as if.

"Need but that that without the underlying so the children's health thing expired in its out of money in some states are gonna run out of money to take care of children as i understand it you know they've they've got some money already that was appropriated to them uh they've that they've been using in order to keep children on health insurance but that's get a run out at some point and they they need money badly i think something like eighteen states are projected run out of money by january um so this is going to get i'd buy it's gotta get done this month next month december so the tax bill which is their top priority is happening in the midst of this devils soup with just like a hundred other problems all coming to a head at the same time i think that's a good environment for bold predictions i are pretty that they're the government won't shut down uh the first funding deadline is december eighth so that's the soonest it could happen in there supposedly sang well we'll have a short extension of funding until december twenty second trump said earlier this year that know maybe we need a shut down the further he said that that this we fat i don't know that that that means that he would not sign something if it came to his desk and i think that there is an understanding with congressional leaders that they do not really want a government shutdown so i think that they understand it better the issue better than trump does at the same time um there's a lot of people have kind of painted them who've painted themselves into corners here and it'll be hard for them to back off of the things that they said that they're going to fight for i i don't know but i'm not going to make a bold prediction i refuse all mad at him i think it depends on how much faith backbone of democrats which mud a lotta people do because republicans are already proven once the the of the book the backbone to to go through go through the shutdown but democrats i have lost faith them all and i i do want to add that for all of the stories and the talk the democrats are you know for gonna refuse to vote for anything without a dreamer protection in it.
