"But i feel like that's a whole whole another topic okay. So how did you find your private money. Lender would be your advice for. Somebody wants to to reach out to one honestly. It is word of mouth. I feel like that is the answer for so many things networking and word of mouth. I just started talking to everybody. And anybody i could about. Rv parks i- anytime. I could insert into a conversation. I would and i think after a couple of months of people just hearing me continually talking about it. Someone just reached out and said i see that. You're pretty serious about this. Like let's have a chat and when we got on the phone i kinda just you know we already had our our criteria kinda listed out and we were serious enough to actually move to a campground and they were of like. Yeah i would love. I would love to finance this and then we sat down and figured out their finances where their money was coming from. And we're just gonna take it from there. How were you able to just pick up and move because we always used our primary residences as we're always going to rent them out afterwards until we find our our dream property but yeah because basically we plan on running out for the foreseeable future properties that that we buy so it's the rental income the passive rental income that you can rent those out and you guys have the option to to move anywhere and to to run the camp ground and you don't are if you move out of state are you gonna probably not continue to do real estate anymore in your husband's remodeling business. You'll be focused on the camp ground. I don't think we'll ever stop. We love slipping. We love burying. We love the by holds. We will always do that for sure. The remodeling business is going to be the first thing that we drop. It is my h- my husband does a lot of the work in the field. He's he's getting tight like his body is just getting tired of it. He wants to change. And yeah so remodeling. Business will go by the wayside but we love real estate. It's always going to be doing that. But for the first you know season at that campground will definitely be focused on running it learning everything that we can getting systems and processes down. You know just figuring. Because i feel like it's like fifteen businesses in one so we'll we'll definitely take that first year to learn and hopefully down the road be able to take all that and buy more. Rv parks and capitalize on on everything that that we're going to. We're going to learn on that first year. Well congratulations on that. Not many people have the option to just pick up and move to go. Start their dreams. So congratulations on the success. You guys have built with your flips in your rentals to able to do this. Yeah and then the beauty of it too is i mean knock on wood stuff always will work out but we always have that to fall back on to. We can always. I wouldn't want to kick anybody out but we do. Have the option to move back to the house. Is that that we do have or park at park. Your trailer in there the driveway of where the ten the ten dollars then trifling. Get some water sewer hookup out. There who is also you know if you ever want to move shreveport louisiana if things don't work out i'm selling a house there that you might be interested in so to send me up if you have any interest but i wanna i wanna go back really quickly you to the private money before we keep moving. How Do Bank Closures Affect Local Communities?

"Bank shuttered more than thirty three hundred branches last year for some customers like me. The loss of a bank is a minor inconvenience. Maybe i can't walk to the bank in my neighborhood anymore. But okay i drive past another branch on my way. The grocery store and i still have a bank app on my smartphone. Twenty four hours a day but like me. Not everyone has a car or a computer or the know how to adjust their family. Being branch closes. Its doors that's something. Stephen jackson has been wrestling with in shreveport louisiana where he's county commissioner or perish commissioner as they say the louisiana would really got. My attention was a family who lives in cedar. Grow and cedar grove is a city. Mostly african american neighborhood. Stephen heard from one member of this family who goes to his church. She's an older woman and she'd been going to the same bank branch for decades even as the sign outside changed repeatedly from one corporate owner to another then one day. She got a notice saying come. Clean out your safe deposit box. That's how she learned. Her bank was about to close her closest bank now. She has to depend on the tax the or somebody to pick up and take what she's going but now she has to have them pick her up and take her completely outside of the neighborhood to going get her banking done for some customers. That might just be the push. They need to switch to online banking. But stephen knows better than to suggest that to his elderly constituent age. She's not just you can't just tell her. Pick up your phone. Do mobile banking. She's not going to do

"Suspect accused of a shooting at a hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana, now the subject of a statewide manhunt. Police say to Neil Cole wasn't found at the hospital this morning. The FBI's among the multiple agencies involved in that case the historic choices made yesterday. California Senator Kamala Harris selected is Joe Biden's running mate in the upcoming presidential election. Today we're living Maura about how he delivered the news to Harris. ABC is Adam Kelsey joins me from Washington and Adam. How did the presumptive nominee break the news to Harris? Good morning, Tom. Well, we saw a video tweeted out by Camilla Harris earlier this morning in which we saw Joe Biden on a video chat with her yesterday afternoon, asking her if she was ready to get the work, she laughed, she said, Oh, my God for a second, And she said that she was ready to join the ticket with Joe Biden. Obviously a historic ticket. Kamala Harris, the first black woman, the first person of Asian descent on a future party's presidential pick it and to be perfectly honest with you historic because she now has the Sidetrack whether it's four years from now, eight years from now to potentially become the first female president of the United States. We're gonna hear from Kamala Harris and Joe Biden together in person in Wilmington, Delaware. Later this afternoon. That event's going to take place at around 4 p.m. Eastern. So at one PM for you guys out in Seattle. We're expecting buying to tell if a little bit more about how he landed on Camilla Harris at his choice, how they plan to work together and what the future of this campaign looks like, given the fact that we haven't seen much of Joe Biden past couple months during this Corona virus. Pandemic. Whether or not they're planning to hold Maurin person events beyond today, or whether or not we're going to see them, mostly by virtual means heading into November. And, of course, Joe Biden is the presumptive nominee for president. But really, she becomes the de facto face of the party right now, as you mentioned because, after four years it's not expected he will rerun and she would be very much the front runner at that point. Joe Biden has called himself a transitional candidate for quite some time recognizes his advanced age is gonna be 78 years old. If you've elected sworn in in January, Kamala Harris, only 55 representing a different generation for the Democratic Party on and it's something that you know Joe Biden was kind of pressured in away over the past couple of months, you know, to choose somebody who was a bit younger. Ah, who could, you know? Continue to run into the future and connect with younger voters as well? You know, comma, Harris being 55 years old. Not exactly a spring chicken if you will, you know experience now from one term in Washington, D C is a senator for California. But someone who obviously bridges that gap that Joe Biden was trying to do between the generations. What kind of reaction have we heard from the White House to this election? Well, obviously an immediate backlash from Republicans and from President Trump quickly trying to label Kamala Harris is as extreme far left progressive even though you know throughout her career, and certainly during her own presidential campaign last year that that necessarily wasn't the case. I think Democrats view a comma Harris with somebody who kind of wood hot back and forth between the moderate and progressive wing of the party on different issues, kind of lands herself squarely in the center of the Democratic Party, But it seems I think for now, the Trump campaign's position is going to try to kind of paint her into a corner as a disciple of Bernie Sanders. Somebody who at one point supported Medicare for all and degree new deal on somebody who's potentially pulling Joe Biden left, whether or not that's going to be the case. You know, she was just the vice presidential pick here. She doesn't necessarily get to dictate Joe Biden's platform, but that's gonna be the line of attack. I think that we're going to hear from President Trump in the campaign real quickly switching gears Adam, the US weighing in on the aftermath of controversial elections in Belarus. Sparks a major protests. Yeah. Over the weekend. The president of Belarus, elected to his six term with over 80% of the vote obviously raised some eyebrows, not just in that country but Eastern Europe on across the world. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is in the Czech Republic today on You made some comments on the election, saying that you know, on the On the surface, it seems that those were not free and fair. They sparked protests in the country and the days since thousands of folks have been arrested. And there are some reports out of the country as well. That phone service and Internet service is being restricted. So obviously Infringing upon the rights of those protesters to potentially speak out about any malfeasance. They experience I would expect to hear more from Pompeii and potentially Trump administration as whole as that situation in Valerie's continues to develop, all right, as always great Having you with us had this ABC is Adam Kelsey in Washington. Louisiana Abortion Law Struck Down by Supreme Court

"US Supreme Court has delivered a major defeat to abortion opponents by a 5 to 4 vote, the court struck down in Louisiana law that was virtually identical to a Texas law invalidated by the court four years ago. As NPR's Nina Totenberg reports. The fifth and decisive vote was cast by Chief Justice John Roberts. Four years ago. The chief justice was among the dissenters when the court struck down a Texas law that required doctors performing clinic abortions to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital. But today he voted with the courts for liberal justices in striking down a nearly identical law in Louisiana. He wrote for himself alone, however, and said he was joining the Liberals on the outcome because of the doctrine of starry decisis. Which is the legal term for standing by the court's precedents. It instructs us to treat like cases alike, he said, and the Louisiana law burdens women seeking pre viability abortions to the same extent as the Texas law did four years ago. The value of following precedent, he added, is that it promotes the evenhanded, predictable and consistent development of legal principles. Foster's reliance on judicial principles and contributes to the actual and perceived integrity of the judicial process. While president is not an inexorable demand, he said, Simple disagreement with a previous decision is not enough to justify reversing course in this case. Not only is the Louisiana law issue virtually identical to the one struck down four years ago. But the District Court judge who held an extensive trial in the case found that if the law were to go into effect at minimum, two of the three abortion clinics in the state would be forced to close women would have to wait longer and drive further for abortions, and only one doctor would likely be left to fill the demand for 10,000 women seeking abortions in the state each year. Abortion providers and defenders were to say the least relieved. Here's Kathleen Pittman, administrator of the Hope medical group that runs a clinic in Shreveport, Louisiana. To say we're related hardly begins to come close to what? Where you're failing. I'm celebrating today, but I'm still worried about our future. And Nancy, north of president and CEO of the Center for Reproductive Rights, echoed that sentiment. Well, we are taking the Supreme Court cases one victory at a time. We are under no illusions that the fight is over with this case, you know, it's welcome all over and over again. And Leah Lippman, a professor at the University of Michigan Law School, cautioned That Robert's decision sets out a standard different from the one adopted by the court. In the past, the chief justice's reasoning was actually quite permissive in what it would allow states to do to restrict abortion. That said, however, the decision does appear to rule out state laws that, for instance, Ban abortions at 68 12 weeks or any other time prior to fetal viability. Even James Bop, general counsel for Americans United for Life, sees those bands as dead in the water. I've been saying for 10 years that those approaches are doomed to failure. The bop was disappointed in the Roberts opinion. He saw some hope he gives half alone. He sees the Roberts opinion as enabling states to mandate ultrasounds for those seeking an abortion. As well as allowing states to ban abortions for certain reasons, for instance, because of fetal disability or sex. And he sees the decision as sending a message to anti abortion voters tells the pro life movement that President Trump fulfills its promises with his appointment of Gorsuch and Kevin all and that we need Trump reelected in order to make future appointments, political groups on the right and left we're making that very point today. Were one of the liberal justices to retire and two of them are over 80. Another Trump appointment to the high court could make Roberts vote irrelevant. Given that mathematical reality, today's decision is likely to play a significant role in the upcoming election. Polling data has consistently shown a hefty majority of the public approve the right to abortion. But while Americans held similar views in 2016 exit polling at that time showed Trump was able to turn out Maura of his vote based on his stated goal of naming conservative and anti abortion justices to the court. Also, not long after the Starks murders, you'll took Peggy to get married in Shreveport, a wife could not be compelled to testify against her husband. Here are some of the things that point to you'll not being the phantom. You will fingerprints did not match any of the latent prints at the Booker, Martin crime-scene Peggy Sweeney. Recanted. Her confession, the Texas Rangers and share of Bill Presley were not convinced that Sweeney was the phantom Sweeney denied being the phantom and never made a confession officers, including Bowie county sheriff Presley Miller county sheriff Davis Texas city chief of police Runnells their officers and both state police departments work day and night for six months trying to validate Peggy Sweeney's story of their whereabouts. They deduce that Peggy was not telling the truth and that on the night of the murder of Booker and Martin. The couple was sleeping in their car. Under a bridge near San Antonio. You will Sweeney was arrested almost two months after the last murders since each took place less than a month apart. It is possible that he was not the killer as he most likely would have moved on somewhere else to continue killing his wife was very young which explains part of her behavior. But they're also must have been something a little off about her as well. Some of the police who took her confession statements said the elevator did not go all the way to the top her bread was not Brown and other sayings like this. So that could mean she was crazy enough to participate in these crimes with you'll or she was crazy enough to make false confessions or she was just odd. Not that you have to be crazy to make false confessions. I do understand how that happens. And it's really sad to see how many have happens because it's just been so hard for people to understand it. But in this case, they all thought something was off about her. I went over everything I learned about you'll and Peggy with someone who is in law enforcement that I know he agreed. It seemed unlikely it was Sweeny. He said, it was definitely possible. Peggy was being led in some parts of her confession letters, especially way, back then whether it was intentional or not also telling the authorities, whatever they wanted to hear, but not the point of signing any of the declarations for some reason this part really bothered him and us then I found out about the letter to her parents I called to tell him. He was right. And here is the clincher. This is a letter from Peggy. He to her parents while she was being held. It comes from the F B I files and is being read as is with uncorrected spelling and grammatical errors. Dear mom, dad and kids will write you again today. How are all of you fine? I hope I guess the sheriff on the Texas side, and that F B I man had been out to the house for they was up to see me yesterday. They still think Sweeney killed those people. I don't know what to do. They don't believe me. So what else can I do? But to tell them that he did it. They will believe ally. If I send Sweeney to the chair that would be on my mind the rest of life for taking his life when he was not the one that kill that little boy and girl on April thirteen I could send him to his chair, then I would be killed that. So and so that you all rented that house from said that we was in the field on. April fourteen that is ally. I wish that dad would have said something to him about it too. I don't think they won't send me to the Penn. But it is Swinney that they are after Mr. Phillip told them some light to I guess, he think if they do away with Sweeney that it would help him to get out and that I would married I wouldn't married him. Well back in nineteen ninety eight. I started the company and developed a domain name port and had that domain name for over eighteen years now. We'll be back in November. November fifteen th at domain expired because I forgot about it. Oh, no, really. Yup. And somebody picked it anyway. Well, this is what I've learned forty five days. The company says it will hold it after the expiration date. And then I in my research, and I don't know maybe you can help me here. I can I thought they had to give it over. I cannon they held or another thirty days in which time I would have had ample time to get it back. But they sold it on the twenty first of December, two domain buyer seller, and how much do they want? How much do they want to to sell it back to you? But they won't tell me. Dollars. And they said they paid more than that four. I'm thinking to myself I off they went. I think it's supposed to go back into open market. It wouldn't it wouldn't have been a hundred dollars to buy that domain. So I'm a little confused of what's going on here. You know, just wondering your thoughts on the appropriate legal aspects of them being to release it or my options of even getting it back. Well, I have to preface by saying, I'm not a lawyer, right? Can give you legal advice. I can give you a practical advice. Do you own any trademarks associated with the domain name? No, I don't think so any copyright. I had a company for five years under that domain name. And I've been holding on. And I close the company back in two thousand three. Okay. The only way that I know of that you couldn't get a domain name back at this point is if you actually are registered trademark of that particular name of something called the land tham act in case you wanna look it up anthem act. And. As far as the thirty five in the forty five days. It depends on the register. And it also depends on where I can is. And they changed their rules often. I don't know what the exact rules are today. I can just tell you. I can just tell you how to get it back. If you wanted to back is you can try to use a broker your best cases, as I mentioned as if you do have the trademark on that you could also back order, the domain you can contact them and ask them how much it's worth their domain so-called services online. They'll tell you how much that domain is worth. But I think that serves as a reminder for everyone, and that if you own a domain, you must you must keep on top of when that registration is due because everything is now automated as soon as you don't pay the Bill goes into another been and somebody's going to scoop it up. "And the most insidious tough about this is that it continues to undermine support. Police officers especially in black communities that that's what this behavior. Has the unfortunate side effect of doing makes it more difficult to recruit individuals to become cops makes it more difficult. You're about to be sued embarrassed. I didn't know Dante Hiller Barnett before this. And they're likely won't know, again, their names probably have never been in the media, but the family, according to Dan hill, both families going through hell right now because of the behavior of Tamayo Denard and Greg Landsman making them uncomfortable. These two council members are making the lives of the family members, the women and the children part of the Barnett and the hill family all uncomfortable and quite unhappy because of their behavior. And one doesn't think often about the spouse, I'm thinking about police officer should Tari pain in Shreveport, Louisiana who was murdered last night. She's married with two kids. What do you say when the cop shows up at two o'clock in the morning and your spouse knocking on the door of your home? And there's a minister there with the chief. What do you think it's kinda like you got a loved one in the military, and you open the door, and there is a chaplain and a major standing at the door. You know, it's one of those moments that I'm sure would never leave somebody. And so how's it possible that it is acceptable politically to attack police officers, if this was not acceptable, politically, Greg Landsman, and to my Denard would not be doing any of this. It's acceptable. Among the voters who put them there division, Asli attack law enforcement. It is acceptable. And as I said on my shut the hell up now on air from you got me all fired up. Let's continue. Now, we got Keith wrote a missing many others. Let's go to Keith in Fairfield. Keith you had the honor of two thousand nineteen being the first caller with the Bill Cunningham show. How does that make you feel pretty good? Well, I'm glad you're here. Give gimme your perspective on this. Verbal attack on cops by council members. Well, see the problem, and I'm going to go directly to my point here about the movie called the letter z. The fact that these people are outraged over the smallest little thing they are guilty of contributing to the very behavior that they are so Hordley against explained. Now in this case of this tomorrow. And any other people to gang a by that they had seventy one thousand dollars used to strike deals with they don't have to disclose the contents of the Email. Right. And that they have the proof saying these things, you know, and other things. You know, I'm looking at this going you're so opposed to this. You're looking for this. And then here you are doing the very thing that you shouldn't be done you won't demand. It yourself the same level of punishment and accountability that you was hurled against the white officer. You can't do one without the other. Okay. We'll do both. Yeah. Dante hills. Gotta be saying, wait a minute and September. I'm he's a father five who's been a cop like eighteen years. He said the N word while arresting a black person. Okay. When that came to light in September Elliott Isaac chief who's black game. A slap on the wrist gave him a reprimand. What should have happened? Hey, Don, take them on in your man. You can't do. I know. I'm sorry. And he said he's sorry. Dennis Barnett said, you know, what I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done it. I recognize it was wrong. And I apologize. Okay. That's fine. And so when it came to light because of the union that wait a minute, you can't treat a white officer differently in the black officer for the same behavior. Then all of a sudden dot they hill gets lit up and Dante say now, wait a minute. This is this is if so facto this is I've already been punished reprimand. I I guess you put a letter in your file or some. So it's unfair to the black cop to do this much like it's unfair to the white Cobb. But what does this data the families? Do you think Kate what about their wives and their children? Now, they don't care about that. Because why is it politically acceptable among democratic constituency groups black and white to viciously attacked police officers on a daily basis wise, it acceptable. This is all part of double speech, double thing. I mean, just remember your history. Read books like animal farm, or you know, the other one nineteen Eighty-four. I mean, this is not unusual behavior to human beings. Eventually this movie, the letters e pointed out is that it becomes. These people espousing this stop and keep reaching this garbage to the uneducated neon interested, and they keep telling them how great they are. I mean, look at communist revolutions, the first people you've got to get rid of the religious the educated. Well, we have to act as if they're smart and more stupid and our goal is to shut people down. So that the coach an independent objective discussions are not had and they simply want to attack cops, and they'll be the first one in the funeral lines. The next time sadly a cop is killed in Cincinnati. You're going to have Greg Landsman, and to my Denard crying, crocodile tears. Sorry about copra gave their life much like Dale woods gave his life a week ago. But the cops cops are human beings. They make mistakes. Well, we made a mistake. My grandfather was a Cincinnati officer and retired. I know I mean, you know, they made mistakes. I mean, even the pope they may say that the pope is infallible when he speaks ex cathedra, but they'll never say that he's impeccable in their own paperwork. Speaking about Francis. The pope I was in Rome about five years ago. He's got a wall. That's twenty four foot tall and six foot thick and to get in the Vatican. You gotta have almost a Proctor logical exam. How come the pope wants to tear down the walls between American Mexico? But it's got a big wall around the Vatican. Hypocrisy and duplicity. Oh, thank you. Well, let me just I realize your time is limited invaluable, and I'll I'll try to make.

"Third. And one last. Patriots. In talk radio is Lincoln, beware. A friend of mine we text back and forth like his family. I like him like his wife and his daughter Lincoln, beware. He has on Tamayo Denard yesterday. And she's this woman is so stupid. She said essentially that she doesn't care if the city goes bankrupt from lawsuits in relationship to improper discharges of these cop, send the city into bankruptcy. As long as these cops are fired. And we put this woman in charge of like four hundred million dollars of the city budget Tamayo Denard said bankrupt, the city get rid of all the pensions. Don't collect the garbage. Don't police. No fire. Get rid of the nine one one system EMS bankrupt. The city destroyed burned down the city. She doesn't care. Dismiss these cops lose the lawsuit. Get hit with millions of dollars in fines and costs and judgments as long as these cops are fight, isn't that seething distrust and hatred of the men and women in blue in our city, and that's one of the damn leader. Tear it down. Burn it down. Destroy the city drive. The city near bankruptcy doesn't make any difference. Fire hill and fire barn. It get rid of them completely because they used the N word. We're tomorrow Denard in your life. Have you ever used the N word? And if so should you resign? Should you quit? What kind of witch hunt is this? Let's look around for all people who set a wrong word at the wrong time and the wrong way and fire them, and I would assume my compatriot Lincoln where did not confront her whatsoever. Because they're acting and playing the victim card in a way that they become expert liberals are experts at playing the victim card. Woe is me. Wonderfully wonderful wonderful if this is such a bad word why to African Americans use it so much. And if she is seething with anger as Tamayo Denard said in a post on Twitter, isn't it time to step down and not let some angry disoriented person helped to run the city. Why are you why? How can you work when you see with anger every day because your skin color is black? Wow. How much trouble are we in serious difficulties? Serious. I'm looking at my left last night in Shreveport, Louisiana. Authorities have now identified the Shreveport police officer shot and killed while responding to domestic violence run. Officers should Terry Paine African American female was on a DVD run shooting happened eight thirty pm last night near the intersection of midway and Linwood avenues and officers say officer payments in uniform and was shot while entering the patrol vehicle by a person as part of the Devi and more than fifty police units responded to the shooting along with one hundred county perish deputies Shreveport, Louisiana. The perpetrator is still at large. She was taken an area hospital where she later died. Black female cop. On a typical Devi run domestic violence Sunday, Kim, typical run Madisonville officer Dale woods car in a poll. Friday night, typical run doing little traffic duty. All of a sudden dead going to celebrate his life, not as death, but his life Saturday Sunday and Monday, men and women black and white Parana badge put on the uniform strap on the gun and go out on a Friday night to patrol police our community, so the Tamayo Denard's and the Greg land Simmons can be free and enjoy their day. And the first time that you can find a cop who did something wrong such as the expression of a word, which is for Baden. What you wanna do? Then hold that person up to public ridicule. Shane make their life miserable bankrupt the city she said. So that we can fire these two cops the next time God forbid, a city cop is killed in the line of duty the first two people. The funeral procession with crocodile tears in their eyes will be Greg Landsman and to my Denard fainting and acting as if they're so touched by the passing of a cop doing their duty. But now's the time for normal Americans like you, and I black and white male and female to say this was wrongful behavior and should not have happened. You will be reprimanded. If it happens. Again, you're going to be suspended, and it's going to cost you thousands of dollars happens. A third time you're a fool, and you're fired. But no, no to my art says bankrupt the city let the lawsuits proceed we're going to chase down this act of racism wherever we find a committed by a black cop and make sure this black father of five is fired. And if we got a bankrupt the city to make that happen to my Denard that woman is such such great judgment says boy, that's a wonderful idea. In fact, I'm proposing it that is a clown. With a capital K L O W and clown and Greg Landsman is right there with her. Let's continue when when we continue Matt make sure I quit talking. Can you? Do that Tokyo meeting right now, we're gonna make the playoffs expansion this is tax deductible. Now, the only Bullivant I want to note for the military bowl is a Budweiser Clydesdale miracle on Annapolis street, it I'm it doesn't say what this is. And so I can only hypothesize that it is a faithful recreation of miracle on thirty four street. But Santa is a giant horse. What if it's the miracle of birth starring horses with a oh what oh what if it's the Christmas miracle with Jesus horse and magic. And then in a flash I heard on the roof the scrambling in stopping of four giant. There is no room in the stay in the manger which for ores his fine normal. Santa died when his horses fell through the roof because they each weighed four thousand pounds each just picture giant horse in a sleigh. Screw with eight reindeer struggling to pull it. Yeah.
