"To go. So they were chanting this going up and down the street again, predominantly white people. But here's my question. Everybody involved in the Dre Shin Reed killing was black from the deceased to the two officers to the original officer, the chief of police who got into the high speed chase. Everybody involved in this case was black. So I guess I really don't understand. Where the racist cops chant comes into play here. Yeah, on some of the demands that were being made in terms of black lives matter. They're still wanting the officer that was involved in the police action shooting fired and they want a federal investigation into the Police action. Shooting of duration read more protest scheduled four of this evening here in Indianapolis, turning our attention to the election, North Carolina finally called for President Trump. Uh and really most importantly right now, it was called for Republican Thom Tillis in the Senate race. This gives the Republicans right now a one seat advantage. Looks like it's going to be two seats in the Senate once. Alaska finally makes their call, meaning that those two big runoff that are gonna happen in Georgia in January worst case scenario makes it a 50 50 tie in the Senate. Yeah, That is worst Case scenario, because that means Chuck Schumer is the boss of Kamala Harris is the tie breaker, If it ever comes down to like, you know, say a giant green New deal tax deal. We need one of those Senate seats in the runoff in Georgia to go the GOP's way. Now, before everybody starts to panic and think. Oh, my God! Here comes packing the courts. Here comes this and that Take a listen to this. This is a Democratic senator from West Virginia. Joe Manchin. Talking about what would happen if it were a 50 50 tie in the Senate. If both.

"With what you heard earlier today. In that first press conference of the day we heard from the special prosecutor. No charges will be coming against the I m p d officer who fatally shot Dre. Shawn, read your initial reaction. So I was really surprised at the way that it was handled with the Viper K did press conferences and then you know, the special prosecutor, you know, not answering questions based on Grand jury secrecy laws and then having a subsequent press conference by the state, Please, where they literally released you. No problem in evidence regarding how the grand jury tended a decision I'm not criticising at all. In fact, I think it was the right decision, but so unlike anything that you know I encountered a decade ago when I was a prosecutor just goes to show that You know, in in the current times that we're in that law enforcement is really gonna have to. I mean, he I mean, almost like superhero transparent. I mean, the fact that they had a love that video evidence that they were able to enhance it and and show it in the way that they did, you know, not not not every police action shooting is going to be able to be done this way. So I mean, it was it was very impressed. What? Mr Breezy. What did you think about the emotion coming from the special prosecutor Rosemary Cory, you could tell that she was I don't want to say upset. She was crying. She was emotional. She did say that she agreed with the verdict or or the outcome of the grand jury, she said it was fair and impartial. What do you as a prosecutor? Let your emotions do you let them show in this in this instance are what happens when that happens. You're mine. You know, I think that's a great question and actually a great observation as I was watching the press conference and in the interest of full disclosure. I know Rosemary. She's a friend on DH. She's a super lady. And so as I was watching her, and I was watching him tear up. I was texting mutual kind of like, um, um she's crying. Then she needs to stop crying and she needs to get down to business, which he did. But I do think That the emotion that she did show wass appropriate as she is black, and she has two black suns and you know these decisions while they're you know, they're made in the secrecy of the grand jury have empathy for you know, all of the people involved in such a senseless tragedy and knowing that she did talk to John's mom and promised discount on Mom that she would do everything she could in the most barren, transparent way to get one of them will happen. And she did. That doesn't that doesn't make having to say, you know, to come to the conclusion that the grand jury decided there wasn't enough evidence to prosecute anyone who doesn't make that. You know, it's not a trail something It's right. It's a bad thing. I remember flying home after the Hamilton and mothers happened. And you know what? When seven people killed and I had a press conference. I had a really hard time keeping my emotions and check because you're dealing with seven. You know, seven murdered people, including including babies, and so the whole thing is so sensitive, so to get sort of caught up in the emotion of the senseless loss of life, I think is appropriate. I think she was able to Tibbett and pull together and be super professional and responsible were chatting the former Marion County prosecutor, Carl Brizzi, on the Hammer and Nigel Show, Carl, if you were still the prosecutor, and you had all of that in front of you that we saw in that second press conference today, all of the videos that showed the weapon with Dre Shannon Reid The frame by frame breakdowns. How long would it have taken you to come up with a decision? Yes. Oh, that's a great question. You know a couple of days right? And that that would have been a decision that that I would have made after reviewing all the evidence and you know, in consultation with the top top deputies with MPD, but again, that was more than a decade ago. This isn't this is a new era. And so the you know, look, and that was somewhat critical of, you know, getting special prosecutors and going to grand Juries when the people that you elect are completely capable Of making the decisions without an actual conflict. Right? There is no actual conflict, and so so you know, I could be critical that it it seems a little cowardly. Not on the special prosecutor's department in terms of hunting it to a special prosecutor. Um but, you know, after we've seen what we've seen in all these cities with riot tonight, you see black lives matter. I just heard you guys talking about. They're sending out a text You actually even in light of everything that was done to encourage people to come downtown with Kneepads and gloves, and you know all of the craziness. Come and do who knows what, even in light of all the transparency, and so I get the extra hoops that law enforcement and the authorities there having to go through to avoid even the you know the appearance of of partiality, you know, And in this situation, I mean, I think it's sad. I think it's really sad, but It just seemed like it was a really obvious situation to me. Open an open and shut case, right? I didn't realize how open and shut it, Wass until I listened to the press conference. I I had no idea that that the shot fired shots first and all that. I didn't know the number of shots and police officer responded with. I mean, I had some idea, but at night after watching that press conference, I mean, it is literally son. No brainer. Police officer cannot shoot back. That someone who was shooting at them, Then it's time to hang up the guns can you talk about? We're speaking with former marrying kind of prosecutor Carl Brizzi. Can you talk about the secret nature? Of the grand jury. And is was that that first press conference? I mean, she did mention the secret. The special prosecutor mentioned the secret nature of the grand jury. And is that cause for concern for people that don't believe the I m p D but was that cause for concern? Eliminated or tampered or tamped down by the second press conference that you mentioned by the Indiana State police. So I think that was really more of a tactical decision on their part away, too kind of, you know, rather than have Rosemary answer a bunch of of really good questions about how the grand jury came to the decision. They just decided he was going to say her piece. And then we have a second press conference where we're just gonna show you. Evidence, and then everybody thing kind of sorted out for themselves. I mean, it was. It was really kind of ah, of a clever way to do it. Um, I'm not entirely sure how they pulled off the second part, if on all that evidence was presented to the grand jury, and then they just released at all. I'm not in how that like this. It was because it was public on Facebook. Right, Right. That's kind of how this story became so high profiled to begin with was Dre. Shin Reed was going Facebook live in this whole thing, And next thing you know, there's there's shootings and it was shared live one more thing before we let you go again. Carl Brizzi, former Marion County prosecutor with US How important was it for the state police to hit an absolute home run on that second press conference, because if there are any doubts I think you're already seeing action on Monument Circle, and you still might..
