"They respond in kind. Yeah. No, I have to say, let's talk about your comments that we played. I've just got back from a series of speaking engagements for our midterm battleground speakers tool. We were in Florida and one of our audience members asked, what do we do with the situation, the rampant crime in America? And I said, the next line sounds funny, but it's not a joke. Do what I do. I'm permitted to carry a weapon in Virginia in Washington in Maryland, and I always carry a gun because it's too heavy to carry a law enforcement officer. What should be the right relationship between law enforcement and the armed citizenry of America. It shouldn't be a healthy relationship that if we have no criminal record, if we know how to carry and use a gun that that's good for you as well, isn't it? Sebastian, there's and that's the way it is in my county. Do you know crime here is that a 50 year low? Wow. And crime and Florida is lower than most every other state in the union, and our crime in our county where my jurisdiction primary jurisdiction is half of our state crime. And I tell my folks, carry a concealed firearm, get your permit. And I want you to carry that gun to protect yourself and others. You know the laws will teach you the laws. We want to make sure you follow the laws, but when you have a major event in your life where you need a cop, you've got to down 9-1-1. Yeah. Someone's got to answer the phone. Then they've got to dispatch the car and then the cars got to arrive. It's too late. You've got to look out for yourself until we can get there. And if somebody is threatening your life, if it's a life or death decision, you have to look out for you until we arrive. And we're not going to be there at the moment in time to save your life. You're going to have to look out for yourself. A member of my team who works for us out of Florida was in the eye of the hurricane and he texted me saying the lights were out. There were noises outside for hours, no power, no nothing, and he said, I'm buying a gun. He got to teach me how to shoot. It's a little bit late when you're worried and the power's out. So guys, listen to the sheriff, get the license get trained and carry that weapon. Last question to you, sheriff Judd, and thank you for joining us today from Polk county. You're in a good position. You've gone from dispatcher all the way up to sheriff. If you're in a safe safe county, what is your message to your fellow law enforcement officers across the country who are in Democrat controlled districts where they have no support from the mayor, NYPD, Chicago, and Philly, and who are time to give up. What do you say to your brothers in blue? Well, I tell that law enforcement leaders whether it's police chiefs or shares. Those areas are starving for leadership. The people want to be safe. I don't care if you're a registered Democrat, a registered Republican and independent are not registered. You want to be safe and you want to feel safe. And if you're not, you don't thrive, your business doesn't thrive. Your community doesn't thrive. So show professional leadership. Don't kowtow, don't bow down to this woke ism and you've got to stand up for what's right and you've got to stand up for the vast majority of your community. Keep in mind that woke that is dying out, by the way, that's losing its energy is a fraction of a percent of America. Just because they're loud, doesn't mean they're right. So be a leader and you'll see how much of the community. Democrats, Republicans, independents, and non registers will say yes. Yes, chief..

Why is that? Shouldn't all sheriffs if they're elected be prepared to talk out in front of the public? Well, I believe that they should. And I don't know why they don't. You know when we are elected, we work for the community. We work for the public. And the only way to successfully communicate with them is social media, radio, television, and newspaper. Let's have sheriff Grady Judd explained in his own words why deputies won a book her in the county jail. This is going to be Mick interesting. Look right here. She's a pretty lady. But she was a McMahon. There was no commoner down. She was in a McRae. I don't know if she was like two fries short of a happy meal. Or maybe it was she was short of a happy meal completely. But she created a McMaster. And she acted like a mcnutt. But you know what she ended up burglar. She didn't get her happy meal. When they asked her to leave the McDonald's, I mean, her twerking is amazing. She said, I'm 5 months pregnant. And these people don't know how to run a leap in McDonald's. Listen, when you're 5 months pregnant, anything's possible. You could go completely nuts at any time. She went crazy. She would not leave bob. And instead, and the whole twerking thing was that like ten minutes long where she was like yelling and twerking, that's a long time to twerk. Especially when you're 5 months pregnant, I'm going to just say it I'm a little bit impressed. I really am. It takes. How did the twerking sort of coalesce with the anger? You know, I just don't, I guess the pregnancy must have had something to do with it. I think she was working off some nervous energy, perhaps. I've just never seen that combination before, usually the twerking, you know, at some place that you expect, like in front of the orange juice section at the supermarket. But I've never seen it. Do you know what I said a coupled with anger? Twerking plus pregnant plus rage plus McDonald's, this woman is a legend, seriously. Now, did you notice that that TV station they opened up with something on your side? I'm Brad so and so and I'm Stacy such and such. It was such an ultimate local news little snap. The question Sheriff Judd investigators have been trying to answer is Why did 33 year old Brian James Reilly target this family? During the press conference, Judd reiterated the fact there was no relationship between Riley and the victims. However, investigators now know he came across how he came across the family in the first place, according to the sheriff, A witness who lives in the area of North Sacrum Loop Road, told deputies he had talked to his friend Riley a few days prior to the massacre, the witness told law enforcement. Riley said he was planning to help with Hurricane Ida relief assistance. And offered to give Riley a first aid kit. Riley went to pick up the first aid kit around 6:45 P.m. Saturday and left just after 7 10 PM shortly after Riley approached Justin Gleeson, one of the victims while he was mowing his lawn justice, I think, Oh, justice! Yes, Sorry. Justice Gleeson. There's no one at the home by that name. Another family member who is also Victor, also a victim came outside and threatened to call the police. He drove off mad, Judd said. Never did Brian Riley make a threat? Never. He just wanted to talk to Amber because he thought she was going to commit suicide. Just a bizarre, irrational statement, in the words of Grady Judd. The sheriff said. Riley later told investigators God told me to kill everyone and to rescue Amber because she is a victim of sex trafficking. In his confession, judge said Riley told investigators that he went home to craft a plan and what she would have to kill everyone. Law enforcement officials believe Riley left his Brandon home around one a.m. Sunday with a large bag. And the massacre didn't begin until around 4 22 am, Riley told investigators when he left his home. He took the following actions. According to Judd. He did reconnaissance on the Lakeland home. He repositioned his truck at least three times so that he would have a fast escape. He found three entrance point into the home. He planned multiple diversions as an exit strategy. He slashed the tires of two vehicles, one of which he would later set on fire and then set a path of glow sticks.

I moved from from I guess new jersey connecticut is the one this week. They said we didn't know where we wanted to move. But we looked at the crime rate and we looked at who the sheriff wise. And we'd look at where we thought we'd be safe. And that's why we came to polk county and i think the magic to this as i tell people the truth i say what most people are thinking all the time hand. The reality is if you wanna be a thug in a crook you wanna do stupid stuff and get away with to portland oregon. They seem to like it out there. Speaking your press conferences. I wonder if criminals like ever like are like. Oh shit i got arrested grady judd. Because they get they get really insulted in these press conferences and rightfully so. Do you remember this guy. I was at an event last night where we're gonna do a press conference about it later on and some of the gang bangers one of the selfie women were at a crime scene. But i think. I'll take pictures with him to the opposite. They wanna get arrested in polk county. It's amazing to me that that i will have people in jail. Tell me. I want my picture away. He's a quote machine interesting fellow he basically was It was like a live press conference just for us. Great job press conference and it was awesome. Yeah so i guess without further do. Here's the grady judd interview. Welcome to the show legendary florida. Sheriff from polk. County grady judd. Thank you sheriff judd for joining us today. We really appreciate you taking the time. Well certainly my honor to be with you today. How are you all doing very great. Pretty get better now have share very very excited. We told you a little bit before we started rolling here but this show has been running for about three years. We've been covering a florida man news every single friday during that time. Needless to say our audience is seen and heard a lot of your work From that time period and for the folks at home Grady judd has worked his way up to this position of sheriff polk county after joining the sheriff's office in nineteen seventy two as their youngest employees of all time if wikipedia is telling the truth. Is that true. sheriff. Yes i was four years old at. That's when you got your first caller. Yes well that's i mean it's impressive talk about florida men and you know all all ranges of florida men on on every friday show and you have you were born in florida. Join the sheriff's office that long ago and the now work your way up to sheriff i mean you. You're you are like the florida man really on. I can't think of many others top that. What's next because we allowed to talk about what you were doing last weekend. Well i i you know i like it when people say nice things about me she on your head were you a dc last week Last week i was in dc. I am the past president of major county sheriff's of america. And we're working on this police reform package we sheriff bob gualtieri and i worked with house speaker sprouse and the to create a state system and now we were there last week meeting with three of our. Us senators. senator troy scott and senator booker. And also lindsey graham senator lindsey graham giving our input because the house version of this police reform was just some rid really crazy off the wall stuff. That's not acceptable Most people i would say ninety nine point nine percent of the cops and certainly not the senate so the is working on the versions because every one agrees that some police agencies in this nation the police before some police agencies are on the cutting edge but unfortunately the media has taken individual bad events or individual bad agencies that don't follow practices best practices and extrapolated that to lead people to believe that all police are bad. All police are violent and and and is just a false narrative also. They're not oh okay so the end of the day. We're trying to push back against that. Say look there's eight hundred thousand cops you know there someplace there. Some agency that recruited the wrong way higher. The wrong way didn't tried Retain their own people when they do something stupid. That's not decorative of all eight hundred thousand of us. Sure it's a big issue in. It's obviously going to take some time to negotiate all that because it's been going on let me ask you. How did you see how big the lifts were and lindsey graham shoes. Does he have like. Did you notice how many inches he was packing. The lifts guy. He was actually sitting down at the time. But stand up. Settle to leave and he won't ever be Nba star pokes that little guy. Well sheriff john one of the Most recent events we covered From your handiwork. Down in polk county was operation Dirty water and so wanted to give you a chance to see. You know your thoughts on that since that's a fresh one An international organized crime ring essentially So wanted to hear you know you you sort of break down how to how do what do you think about that. And are you seeing more crime of that of that style. We talked about it on the show a couple of weeks ago. What do you know the national media wants to ignore. The what i call the ten thousand pound red elephant in the room and that's drug trafficking and drug abuse and what is occurring the border right now contrary to what the politicians tell you is a crisis and let me underscore is a crisis and not only is it a crisis with the people flooding across the border but we know that the organiz drug smugglers are pushing through a group of people and why border patrols tangled up within their driving large amounts of methamphetamine and other drugs across the border. We see fifty million dollars worth of math. That came in liquid form in five gallon buckets across the border and this drug went to atlanta. We were working an undercover operation in central florida. This particular crime group wanted opened up a pipeline into central florida. We work with department of homeland security. Vhs and as a result of that we're able to bust up this operation but that was the mistake coming into paul county a we we were on them like a jcp. The landing spot was was their fatal flaw. Now what are the one of the women was a believe like a resin. Opole county right. They're using her. so what. what was the situation. What was she like living in a normal house but she had like a ten lamborghinis out front like was real. Flashy like you know. It wasn't near that impressive. This lady that delivered the drudge to us the first delivery right she came out of atlanta. She had been released from federal prison for doing a ten year stretch. For what dealing in math like mac at wasn't rehabilitated. I guess she was still on probation delivered. The drives you know. We didn't know who she was.
