"We're looking at this firsthand and we're looking at the lacking of coverage. From major outlets, we could talk about it till the cows come home, but personally, you know, I just want to say thank you to you for calling that out. I think that takes a lot of courage and you can tell by your body of work and everything that you've done and every step you've made in your career. That's what you're about. Your actions speak to that. And so for me, you know, I hope that we can get to a point where we have competition. At the major major networks, you know, when it comes to the game and I'm super motivated to do that. Again, working with wind side are just women's sports, the things that the things that we get to do every day. But again, just from us, thank you for calling that out because it's such a key aspect of what you said in that TED Talk. I appreciate them. And I think having lived inside of ESPN for almost 8 years, I felt like it was imperative to speak openly about the ways ESPN has failed. It's women's sports. And that was something I tried to talk about internally at ESPN, but there was always kind of like everyone would just point to the fact that we put games on the air or we own rights. And that is true and that should be commended, but it was hard to see how it was hard it was hard to overcome the concept that just because you own, for example, that of MBA rights, doesn't mean this is the best place for them. If you're not going to actually put them on ESPN proper. Or build any infrastructure around them, because I knew when I was at ESPN, I knew hosts of shows who wouldn't host their show if it got moved to ESPN2. And that wasn't like a diva move. It was like, let's say they had a show on ESPN proper, and then the masters was on and for two weeks they were going to be on ESPN2. They wouldn't even host the show though weeks because the audience was, I mean, I forget what the data was. But it was like maybe the audience was a 5th of ESPN. And so when you could say, oh, ESPN's putting X number of WNBA games on TV. Somebody who's at ESPN, I'm like, all that matters if it's on ESPN proper. Well, it's better than not being on TV at all, but ESPN twos audience is a fraction of ESPN's. And so anyway, that's a separate kind of point that I think is relevant to the larger whole, but there were years. I appreciate you commending me, but there were years where I just decided I couldn't, it just felt too hard. It was too much of an uphill climb. I'm like, you know what? You know what's easier, just talking about LeBron. There's just so much easier. No one gives you shit. ESPN finds it valuable. You make more money. You're more relevant. I kind of got caught up in that for a few years. And then when my dad got sick, I was like, wow, I really, this is not making me happy. I knew I wasn't doing what I set out to do and what made me feel like I was making some small amount of contribution. So I've tried to return to that in the last couple of years. So you've written multiple books. They're all amazing. You've won awards. Your fourth book, hoop muses. I got it right that time. And insider guide to pop culture and the women's game, I've, I mean, we could do like 5 hours just picking your brain about how this began, how it started. But like, where did you come up with this idea? I know that that might sound like a simple question, but I'm just so curious. Like, how did you come up with the idea? I'm like, what was the first step? So my mom and I have been talking about this in the last week or so, 'cause I'm really close to my mom. And I talk to her a lot, like when I'm out on walks. And in the anticipation of the book coming out, I'm like, mom, I know I called her on a walk about two years ago. And I worked out Rachel peloton, a peloton boot camp workout, no basketball. And I was showering, and I was like, thinking about all of the ways that I have attempted at various points to get people to understand women's sports, like even on around the horn, you know, if I ever want to quote unquote one around the horn, I was like, oh, he's trying to talk about female athletes, but it never seemed to get through to anybody. And I remember thinking, I was like, let me try, what would be a completely different approach? And I was just thinking about doing something really joyful and fun and poppy. And I think I also own Shea Serrano's book. And I just kind of put the two together and I was like, what if I do, what if I try to tell some awesome stories in a really joyful way? And really celebrate the culture of it instead of coming at it from like, why aren't you all paying attention kind of point of view?

"All right, speaking of the TV, I asked you, are there any other shows you're watching? And you said, I'm watching Abbott elementary. And I'm like, oh, okay. Before we do the pod, I'll give it a whirl. I fucking loved it. And it's so good. I think ABC's done. So part of the reason maybe we can help a little bit, but I think ABC has done not the most awesome job getting the word out about this show. I know they premiered it after Jimmy's live show where he did different strokes of facts of life. And they gave it a promotion, but it's so hard for a sitcom on networks to kind of stand out. This is such a cool show. I would describe it as like, I mean, it's clearly it's an homage to the office in some way, but it's like the office in a public school elementary school. But it's got that vibe. It's got all these different characters. It takes me into this world that I kind of want to be into. Why hasn't anybody done this show before? It needed to be done right now. It needed to be done with somebody who understood teaching. So Justin halpern is one of the EPs on the show, and he just so happens to be like a buddy of mine who I've interacted with before. So I sent him a text and I'm like, hey man, this show is like great. I love this show. I was a teacher for 9 years. And I'm like, I can tell watching it that somebody involved in the show was either a teacher for a meaningful amount of time, or they grew up in a house where there was a teacher there. And he was like, oh yeah, keen to Brunson, who created this show. Her mom was a teacher for 30 or 40 years or whatever it was. And you're like, this makes so much sense. Because they did such a good job of just pinning down all of the things that teachers wanted to see in a show, all of the things that you like about teaching, they just present them all for you. When I watch it, this shows like a 23 minute long hug for my teacher heart because it's just here's a group of people who care about teaching in a school that is not supported at all. And that's and that's like the premise of the show. These teachers care and every episode there's like a one small thing that they're trying to do and they have to go through fucking 15 different things to get there. And the pilot keen to Brunson's character, she just wants a rug for a classroom, a new rug. That's all she wants. And it takes the whole time for them to get it, but they finally work together and figure out how exactly they're going to get these rugs. And it's just so good and so smart and so funny. It's a delight to watch. It's my favorite show on TV right now. Well, I'm now on board as well. Let's go baby. Great recommendation. I got my wife to watch it already. She's like, why did we know about this show? It does a really, really, really great job of showing you how thankless the teaching profession is as well showing you how rewarding it can be. Which is a really hard balance to find. Obviously, my dad was school system, his whole career. It ended up as a superintendent for a long time. And he wouldn't watch the show. And he's like, it raises my blood pressure to watch school shows. Yeah. No, no. Watch this one because it's not one of those where everything is dark and terrible. Like, it's actually like there's some hope and there's people to root for and I think it's the good and the bad. And he's like, I'm not watching it. I'm like, I'm telling you, you should watch it. So we're fighting about it. But I really thought, not only worthwhile show, not only show that should exist, but really well written, excellent characters. So good. Two 22 minute episodes. There's 8 people in the show that you really have a feel for included the janitor who I just was my favorite character. I loved him when he had to take over. He just pops in and two or three quick jokes. He played by William Stanford. So you have keen to Brunson, Tyler James William, who most people know as Chris from everybody aids, Chris. Lisa Ann Walter, she plays the Italian teacher. Janelle James, who's a principal. She's so fucking funny. She has a special on Netflix right now. It's just 30 minutes long or her just throwing great jokes out there. Cheryl Lee Ralph is the older teacher that Quincy looks up to and Chris Pratt who I've never seen in anything else, and he's great in here. But yeah, just that group, every single character in there, you just, you just want to see more of them as much as you can get. It's just it's so good. It's so good. I can't wait to watch it. This feels like a show. They're going to get through the first season. They'll get a season two pick up. And then like halfway through season two, when you can watch the whole season one, people are going to find it on Hulu or wherever. And then it's just going to blow up and become like this huge thing. It feels like that's going to happen with the show. And it's going to be around for like 8 or 9 seasons and it's going to be like a big thing. Is my guess. Check back 7 years from now. I think he's going to be huge. No, I think if we're talking about buying stock in a show's all of it. I'd buy this stock in this. Because one of the cool things about it is I think there's a word of mouth factor to it. So it's such a likeable show. You want to tell other people about it, right? And one of the things that it does really well, especially with teachers, because when you think about some of the teacher movies, and we've done some of them on rewatchables, right? Like dangerous minds and things like that. And they're always just diving in for like an hour and a half and there will be you'll have your hero teacher and there will be a couple other teachers who have been there the whole time that are the veterans, they bounce off. But really they can't do that much with the entirety of the faculty or the entirety of the teachers in either a class.

"Just get in darker and darker. Killed off. Killed off. Killed off. He's out. Wow, get rid of him. We take machia. We take the money we're paying macho. Kill them off, make that the plot for season 5 and use that money and maybe we go get Mike Barnes. Maybe it's von doms still around, maybe von dot moves in tents. You know, maybe we use that money elsewhere. Is Daniel sunk cost? How do you kill off The Karate Kid? I don't think he can do it. I think listen, you and I just said, there wasn't one redeeming thing about him in season four. He's not likeable. He's not funny. I'm tired of hearing him talk about mister Miyagi. What's good about Daniel? All right. Get him out. All right. We'll get him outta here. Those are the options. I'll go divorced. I could divorced his life falls apart. Yeah. He does some time for activation. It turns out he's like a CD businessman. And now he's just, there you go. That'd be great. Well, he's a terrible father, and I don't really enjoy his character anymore. And I think his wife can do better. Cobra Kai, final grade. I'm gonna go buy the Cobra Kai standards, B minus C plus range for what I enjoy with a binge watch stand. It's still a B plus as a binge watch. Yeah, I had to be plus coming in. It's still season one. I don't think we'll ever get to catch season one, just because it was so electric. I think I go back and I rewatch Miguel's fights from the tournament. I go back and I rewatch when Cobra Kai comes in. Cobra Kai. And they have got a black suit. Oh, my God. It's so fucking good. But yeah, this season it's a B plus binge. Just sit down and watch it and one whole day. You can have a great time. And then, you know, there you go. Season four MVP. Season four MVP. Johnny Johnny Lawrence again. Let me Johnny Lawrence in first place. We get a couple of scenes this time where he gets to be like emotional. Yeah. Oh, man. Good job good. He's got a good actor. Most underrated performer is Tory. I think she's right. Those are my top two for the season. And then I wish we had more Miguel always. I'm with you. Well, Miguel seems like he, now that he's an adult, maybe he should be getting thrown in the mix for some parts that are out there. Michael I can't wait. I move his ear. Yeah, I can't wait for that career. There's a moment. He's got some size now. Robbie seemed short in real life, which I think is going to be a problem, but Miguel seems like he's got some size. I feel like there's a Netflix action movie in his future. Great. There's some moves there..

"Have taken 20 of the Daniel sans scenes and just given them because Kenny, I agree. I was really invested the first couple episodes of like, oh, we're basically running back Daniel larusso with this tiny black kid who's got this brother who's in juvie and there's this backstory and I'm like, I want to see where this goes. And how is he going to fight back with the bullies in 2021? What are his mechanisms now? They're videotaping stuff. They're cyberbullying them. How is he going to basically realize karate's a savior? And then we don't see him for like, what, three, four episodes? Yeah. And then we come back. He's good at karate. And all of a sudden he's tough and it's like, where was the arc? You went from point a to point D and I missed point being point C, where was it? So that's my biggest criticism. Because I like that character too. He was so good. He's such a great introduction. You watch them and you're like, all right. And then when you see them turn bad and you can see like I wish I knew his name, I got to try to find the guy's name who plays him, Kimmy. But he does such like a small thing with his face where he it's like a little thing it does with his eyebrows where he at one point he looks totally innocent and insecure and like just doesn't believe in himself. And then by the end, it's a small change, but he looks totally evil and just ready to do bad things. And I really like when an actor can do that. I like that they acknowledge with hawk how ridiculous it was that he flip sides at the end of season three. And he had to build his trust back, stand up that cut his hair. So they go, they basically take away a superpower and then as we're watching, heading toward the season for now, I was saying to my son, it'll be fun if hawk won the tournament, but they'll never do that. And then they actually did it, which I thought was a nice little twist slash wrinkle. I was surprised that they went that way. I was glad that they did. I like hawk. I was glad to see that he finally got a little bit of shine. You knew Miguel wasn't going to win it again because he he's just out. He's like, I'm done with all of this. Because I'm 30 in real life. I got to make a movie. So he was, I thought Robbie might pull it out, but Jacob, the guy's real name is Jacob. Eli, given the Eli given the talk when he's like, I'm the guy who's gonna fucking win this thing. Like, yeah, that was a lie. What a lie. Well, let's talk about the big edition of season four, which was Terry silver. The evil dojo from Karate Kid three. One of the worst movies of the 80s. One of the most unintentionally hilarious movies of the 80s. The movie that has lived on now is just a pure comedy. It started out as an intentional drama now is like over the top and a few other ones is now just a comedy. Never thought they'd bring him back. They bring him back. He kind of looks like a cross between Doc and Back to the Future and like Christopher Walken when we see him. He's in. He's in Malibu and some super fancy beachfront mansion and it seems like he's gone to this kind of business side. And he's done with that side of life. And then slowly we see him start getting real back in by kreese, finally leading to, you knew the ponytail was coming back. He finally did it. I loved it. I love that part. It was great, but I love that he acknowledged how insane he was incorrect at three. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's a great idea. Well, I was there a lot of cocaine back then. I was just crazy. It's like, yeah, that makes sense. That Karate Kid three, you had to have been on cocaine. There's no other way. And he talked about how nuts is it. I devoted my life to try to destroy a teenage karate champion, which was a running joke for everyone for 30 years. But I thought he was good. More importantly, I don't know how old he is in real life, but I thought his karate was pretty good. He's got to be in his 60s now, right? Yeah, he looked great. He looked like if he had just stayed in that character for his whole life. He's 59 right now. He gets out there. He starts to start kicking around. You know what I was a little disappointed in because he shows up and he's just a great bad guy. The thing you're talking about about Karate Kid three, be it a comedy. When you watch it now, when we get introduced to him, he's like in a hot tub on a big cell phone with a ponytail in the earring, talking about dumping nuclear waste into the river and South America. Like he's doing every single bad thing guy you can think of. So he shows up here and he's doing a more modern version of it. And he's a really great bad guy face. And I thought, okay, cool. We're going to have him. And we're going to have crease teamed up creases. The ultimate bad guy all of the time. But the increase goes the opposite way and it's like he's going to be a good guy now and I didn't like I love kreese as a character. One of my favorite movie characters, TV characters ever, he's so good when he's just evil and conniving and they were like pulling that away from him. Yeah, nobody wants good kreese. I just look good for that. I have a crease action figure right here as we go. How about that? Yeah, kreese should have been one of those people that just stayed a certain way, but I think that's part of the problem when you're doing this many episodes and they're this long. You have to it's almost becomes like professional wrestling, where it's like a good guy. That was a bad guy. Again, and it's this good guy bad guy thing that I think they're trapped in. Heading forward. How many more seasons of this show do you want? And do you think before this really tails off? Because they're pushing it at this point. You know, you know, I think all that they have to do because I think you can make this show as many seasons as you want to make it if you just pull away from larusso. Yeah, let the other people come in, just cycle them in. We have Kenny becomes the new star of the show. Yeah. You age out all the other high school kids and now we're just following Kenny from grade 9° 12, which I think would be great. And then at some point, you have a new kid coming. You could do it forever if you have the right people. And you can just keep bringing in little characters from the movies if you want. You know, probably don't even have to do that after a while because we pretty much gotten all of the ones we wanted. I did want to see karate's bad boy Mike Barnes show up. I thought for sure. Where is he? Is he alive? I'm sure we're getting them. They hinted, maybe he's coming for the 5th season. Get him in here. He was great because he beat the hell out of Daniel larusso on the tournament. Yeah, it wasn't close. He kept taking points away from himself just like on purpose wherever you put up like 15 points on him. You're supposed to go to three or whatever. But anyway, what I'm saying is, yeah, do it as long as you want. Cycle in this, they can clearly find the characters bringing in Miguel. It worked because we were just focused on him. You bring in Tory at work. You bring Kenny. Kenny, it works. Just do that. Let's watch that. I would love to watch that. Who do you have Mike Barnes against Chung Lee? I'm in the dirt. Not even close. Not Mike burns really get touched and I don't know when his sailing was. We never even saw anyone test them. Yeah. I don't know. You could get Chong Lee, maybe playing to the crowd a little bit, turning around. I think he leaves some openings. All right, I'm gonna give you choices for Daniel San for season 5. Fear the options. Okay. Divorce? Drug problem. Okay. Let's.

"But really what needs to happen is him and his wife needs to get. They need to get divorced. Because the wife is a great character. She needs to leave Daniel San. And either start dating Johnny Lawrence or somebody else or somebody dangerous and like, there needs to be we need to get her out of the family, 'cause I actually like her. And yeah, she's really good. I lose confidence in her that she thinks like Daniel is my guy. I love this guy. He's awesome. It's like, what's awesome about him. He spends no time in his car business. He's devoted all his spare time to this dojo where all he does is basically the yoga with his students and then get them to wash his car. And that's all he does. It's like, what is this guy good at? Get away from this guy. Bad father, his kids are running. It's like losing her mind. His son's a bully. Like, what are the wins with this guy? I was excited about a few things in this season. Number one, I really like Tori. I like her being just like a well, I think we talked about this in season three. I thought, when she has a big fight at the end, she's just decided to put the spotlight on herself. She's like, I'm gonna take over everything. It's just a great villain face. I really liked her. I really liked her go and nuts. Robbie Keane got fucking yoked. My boy came back ready. He's great. Well, Miguel, too, Miguel put on what 20 pounds of Miguel. I don't know how to make nobody now. Yeah, Miguel is like a man. That seems like a cheater in high school. I'll tell you that much. If he hits you with one of those kicks, you're fucking going down for a while now. It's a wrap. Man, but the fun show to watch. The kids, I thought, strong seasons from everybody. I liked all the parts. Except for the lures of daughter. I still don't understand a why, what is motivating her with the karate side? What are her other interests? Does she think this is like a long form platform for her to do whatever else? And also, why do these guys like her when over and over again she's a disappointment to Miguel and to Robbie?.

"Like the way. I like the way I hate that you know son. I hate the kids. I'm so tired of Daniel son, tying everything back to some advice, mister Miyagi gave him 30 years ago. And his kids, the daughter who's just terrible at karate, like, really like the least believable of all the people who fight this thing. She just doesn't, there's like, oh, she made the finals. We're gonna spoil some stuff, by the way. Anyone who cares about the show is already watch it. Oh, she made the finals. It's like, I don't believe she made the finals. This is ludicrous. And then they have the younger son who they try to position as kind of his generation's Johnny Lawrence. He's a bully, and then Kenny turns it to flip, but I'm not rooting for that kid at all. I don't want any sort of redemption for him, but most important. I just don't like Daniel son. And it really started with Karate Kid three. He won me back a little in season one, but I was really drifting more toward Johnny Lawrence and being team Johnny. And now I'm to the point where I'm like, I just wish this whole show was about people trying to destroy Daniel San. Yeah, we are very much aligned right there. I think he is, to me, he's the least interesting on the show. I feel it feels a little bit like what happened is they did the first season and it was this big hit and everybody loved it. Because Johnny Lawrence and Miguel are at the center of it. And then once that happened, they were like, well, hold on a second. Let's get some more larusso in here. Like his team was pushing for that because it was all of a sudden this gigantic thing is what it is what it felt like. But yeah, it's just, you just don't, you don't like them the way that you did in the movies. It's just a different person or something. It's even worse than that. They've changed the way I feel about him and the old movies. You know, and one of the great things about Cobra Kai is it flipped the kind of the script and the narrative of what you thought with Karate Kid, especially the first one, was Johnny really the villain was Daniel more of a dick than we realized. Like all that stuff. And it was really smart and it really made you rethink how you watch movies with the prism of that is and all those things. But now I think back like my son still watches The Karate Kid movies all the time and like I see Karate Kid one now and I'm like, ah, Johnny has some points here. You know? Really go after his girlfriend. He was a dick but they're in the soccer tryouts. Like he did turn the hose on him at the Halloween party and try to drown him like larusso was just this victim like kind of the same way Kenny was in season four of Cobra Kai at least for the first couple. Yeah, that that underdog plucking this, it becomes a different thing when he is now a successful rich businessman. And you're like, oh, you're kind of like cocky and arrogant. And why won't you just listen to what these other people are saying? The thing about everything that somebody else says, he's like, well, mister Miyagi this or mister Maggie that that's got to be like after a while, if you're in that family, you got a fucking shut up about mister Miyagi. Right. Mister Miyagi, like solid custodial career. It looked like, was able to buy a lot of cars, decorated war veteran, led to karate championships for Daniel's son. But this was not red rbac. This was not so Bernie. This was that play doh. It wasn't like every sort of social situation. Mister Miyagi had an answer for. You know, he was fine. He was helpful. I think he was better than fine. I think he was better than hearing somebody talk about him so much. He like, come on, man. Come on, Daniel. Also, we both have kids. We both have kids who are at the age where they're pretty tired of us. They don't really want to hear from us in general. They don't want to hear it from us when we're just giving them basic tenets of advice that are useful, right? Like, hey, you should do your homework. Hey, you should sleep more. Can you imagine how much they would hate us if over and over again where we were like, well, you know, mister Miyagi told me once, that that, your kids would be like, hey, give it a rest. We've never met this guy. So listen, this is the only way we're heading into season 5. They laid the groundwork, some breadcrumbs for the bad guy from Karate Kid two who's great last season. That was a nice little surprise. But him coming back and teaming up with Daniel sand..

"And a half. Plus three and a half alternate bet on the FanDuel. That's it. Those are. The $1 million picks. For week 18, heading into the playoffs, we only had to stop and start 5 different times. Maybe the COVID is bothering me a little bit. Have I ever stopped and started this much on a podcast? Brain fog. So where are you going to be this weekend? I will be in Los Angeles Sunday, Fox NFL kick-off from 11 to 12 eastern, I'm looking forward to it. This is the first week, 18. There's enough balls in the air. It was going to be awesome. And then I might pop over to that rams forty-niners game. I might have to see that in person. There you go. All right, Drake's happy new year. Good to see you. Thank you, sir. Feel better. All right, two times for me and chase Serrano this week. First we did a rewatchables about limitless. Yeah, which is a limitless classic, which you can find on the rewatch list feed right now. But more importantly, it's Cobra Kai season. I think, you know, in the old days it would be the end of December leading into January was New Year's Eve. New year's. College football. Now it's Cobra Kai, Cobra Kai has died and Cobra Kai came in. Season four happened, Netflix dropped it. Give us your thoughts. You know, I kind of didn't love it. I'm sad to say, because I have loved this show so far. Season one is still my favorite. But it feels like every season they get further and further away from Miguel and Johnny. I think Miguel and Johnny, that's the relationship that should be at the center of everything. And we're drifting further and further away from it and it makes me say, I will say though you can tell they have the Netflix budget now. Whoever they brought in for the fight scenes is great. They look so good now. They're just like, oh shit, we're getting after it. These kids are really going for it. But it breaks my heart to say I didn't love it as much as I thought I would because I was so excited. I think we see it the same way. First of all, even a mediocre to half decent Cobra Kai season is still worth a binge watch. My son and I watched all ten New Year's Eve, we were hiding from my wife who had COVID and were just like screw it. And it turns out it didn't help. Yeah, let's be clear about that. Cobra Kai is great. This is like a championship level show. So when we say we didn't like a thing that's still 62 wins, that season. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, and it's also built where you're binging it, where if you're gonna watch, it's basically watching a 6 hour movie. Because it's ten episodes, but some of the episodes are 38, 39 minutes. So it's a real commitment. I'm with you on drifting away from Miguel and Johnny. My issue goes deeper and is a little more interesting to me. I hate the lyrics. I.

"Spread parlay. Pats down to minus one and a half minus two 50 chiefs. Down to minus two and a half against the Broncos minus four 70 colts minus two and a half -800. Put those together. Minus one ten, 300 K oh, keep those chiefs colts bats in there for the rams because we're adding the rams money line. Colts minus two and a half chief Spanish to naf rams to win, that's minus one O one. We're putting 300 K on that. And then third bet is the LA express. I've lived in two places in the last 30 years. LA and Boston. We're going to combine the paths to win the rams to win and the Chargers to win. It's plus two 17. And FanDuel likes the idea of the Simmons express bet the Simmons coast to coast. The Jimmy Kimmel sends an email and says, hey, Bill, come work for me. I've been to bed on this. This is the Jimmy bet. Pat's in the two LA teams, plus two 17. We're in a boost that to plus two 60. For this podcast, fando is going to boost it as well. We'll know on Saturday with the official boosters. But they're going to boost this because somebody could get scratched. They're going to boost it. Before we do so, we just want to pay homage to why we're scared of the Chargers and why it looks too easy. Home underdogs, the Raiders, the super obvious team, the Chargers, everybody's moved toward the Chargers. They're all these signs. Stay away, stay away, stay away. Nobody believes in us for the Raiders. What else? Yeah. I mean, you've got the Madden factor where this is going to be their first home game since the passing of Madden. They're going to have his widow out there, lighting the torch and historically, the Raiders have just owned the charters in big games. AFC championship game in 1980, the holy roller game. Countless other ones where the Raiders just have had big game moments over the Chargers. And Derek Carr, they want to win for him. As much as on the outside might roll our eyes, they love them in that building. And then they got you. Rich Versace. Boss rich. If they win, it's going to be hard to tell rich Versace. You're not our head coach next year. If you took them to the playoffs amidst all they went through. So those guys, those players are three wins in a row. And hunter rent for a scares the shit out of me too. Will pencil him in for 11 for one 20. Look, we're acknowledging all of that stuff. I'm gonna back Justin Herbert and I'm no acknowledged. We're betting the money line only. And the reason we're doing that is because chargers weird field goal kicking situation always. There's a scenario where the Chargers win the game but don't cover. And everybody who bets in the Chargers loses, even though they were right that. So we're boosted that up to plus two 60 and we're going to put two 50 on that. And then last but not least, rams, chargers both to win. Colts chiefs bought the cover minus two and a half spreads. That is plus two 21. And we're going to put two 50 K on that as well. We're.

"Could just give each other COVID over and over again. But I want to get this down under three. The alternate line for pat's minus one O 5 is minus two 50. Okay. And we could combine that with chiefs minus two and a half, which is minus four 70. And colts minus two and a half, which is -800. And if you do those three together, it's minus one ten. Basically even. This just in. Michael Carter, running back for the jets. Expect it to go. All right, well, you know what? We're going to put a we're going to put a random jets bat in here as well. I think we have to. We have no choice. So cold chiefs pats minus two and a half minutes to minus one to minus one ten. Are you worried about two of beating the Pats in week 18? No. I've beaten them before, and I know that week one that was a fun game to go back and forth and make the argument that Mack wasn't ready and all of this. But there are different teams right now. Rams chargers, patriots, money line. All of them just have to win. Plus two 17. Talk to FanDuel. You know, the two places I've lived in the last 30 years. LA and Boston. So Simmons expressed parlay. LA Boston. Three teams. So we're going to boost that one. We're going to boost it on this podcast to plus two 70 if we do it. If you sign off, we get both that way themes. We get the paths. What do you think? Now we're going to get your raiders. No, it's okay. The Raiders were fun for the podcast to talk about. You really talked me out of it. The better players are in LA and gosh Justin Herbert down the stretch. He'll find a way. Okay. This is the Bill Simmons ringer boost slash Mookie betts regrettable trade boost, all the LA Boston. Let's go. It's the Boston LA coast to coast. So we have that one. Rams charges by themselves as plus one 35. Let's do it. LA, let's go. Same rams chargers. If we put the colts minus.

"Lot of bet the rants. There's a scenario where the niners get bounced. The niners were looking like a sexy sleeper pick. And now it's like if the saints beat the falcons in the 90s to the rams, they're gone. Wondering what that'll happen where they had this moment where it just seemed like everything was lining up for them to be this stealth sleeper heading into January. Now it's like, okay, we're not even in the playoffs. Did you guys end up? I know you and cousins are talking at 16. We did 1701, yes. We did a slight dusting on that one. So rams rams minus four rams minus two 15. For the money line. So Mark that went down. And then we have a bunch of underdogs that we like or that were intrigued by. One is the Lions plus one 52 against the packers. No Rogers. Green bit packing it in. Dan Campbell, one of the best, rebuilding seasons for getting a top 5 draft pick while also actually like building some optimism, pretty impressive. Unbelievable. They have two wins and one tie and it feels like they finish the season ten and 7. Somehow we've had them in underdog parle like 7 times and they've won twice. So maybe it's a bad strategy. But yeah, they're three and a half point underdogs and they're plus one 52. So we're looking at them. Falcons, against the saints. Plus one 64, the falcon's trying to finish 8 8 9. They were good last week against the bills. And they came down to a couple of plays. They really went toe to toe with them. I mean, they're not good at football. But I think they've overachieved for what both the advanced stats say about them. I think they're still like 31st or 32nd in DVA. And then I don't know if you saw it, but they asked about it today and they might have been from our podcast last week. They asked him in DP's who's like a grizzled defensive coordinator just shit all over analytics, which is a great quote. I forgot what he said. But they said, you guys are analytically based on all the numbers and PF and I'll show you guys are the worst football outsiders and dean piece was having none of it. Well, the saints who can somehow get in and then if they get in, it's one of those things where I don't want to see the saints or the niners in the playoffs if I'm the two seed because if it's a niners, they just have a ton of talent. I'd be worried about that. And it's the same. Now you're just going toe to toe with Payton for three hours. And I just want to do that either. Every bag in every trick in the bag because he's going to empty it. Like that's just how he is. And it's a frustrating game. No matter who they have on the field, it's like not an easy out unless it's Ian book, which we watched a couple of weeks ago. And that's the rams and the two seater Tampa. It depends how it all works. It depends on. So falcons plus one 64 to beat the saints. The case against that one would be the falcons are super disappointing all the time. Big saints pass for stuff like that. Do you think offensively on pits is hurt? He might not go. He hurt his hamstring in that game, which he was playing well against buffalo and then got hurt. So maybe we stay away. Next one would be the Steelers. Ben's last game. They were great to us last week that weren't the I was rooting for. They really were. I got emotional. Looks like Tyler Huntley for the ravens. Both these teams have like ridiculously stupid chances to actually make the playoffs. So they have something to play for. I don't know,.

"Those three together, you can start messing with fourth games. You can put them with the Pats at minus one and a half, they're minus two 50, alternate line. The four of those together would be plus one 14. So there's things we can do. And this goes back to my basic question. Is there any way the colts chiefs and bills don't win by three? My only question to you is, we watched both of us in our big T's last week with all those winners. We had we had the Buccaneers. And the jets were, I guess, frisky is the word we use, but the jets are fucking good last week. They were good. And there's a ton of New York and everyone's down on the Giants and blow the whole thing up and this is the Joe judge as an 11 minute. Everyone is like skipping and whistling in the streets over the jets after losing to the Buccaneers, but they play really good football the last few weeks to the jets finished the season by and it's that team that next year everyone's like, jets could be asleep or they finished a season good. Did they beat the bills this week and just say, hey, look, we're going to the next season. What we did, we have to include the jets. They're the only team that scares me there. I'm with you. I agree with you. The jets are plus 16 and a half, they're plus 7 30 to win the game outright. And there is a scenario. It's stupid, but as that game goes along, if since he tanks the browns game, which is very Casey wins on Saturday, since he and Cleveland is happening same time jets bills. Brandon Allen versus case Keenum I believe. By around the third quarter, the browns could be up like 20 to 6 over the Bengals. And if the bills see that, they'll know they're locked into the three seed. Because the Bengals will have lost if they just win. They'll also know that they can't basically.

"Of it, Denver's top two cornerbacks got scratched, like two hours ago. They're out both cornerbacks. Drew lock, I don't think could score 20 points at the game was ten quarters. And I just wanna work KC into something. Super is the first playing for nothing. Kansas City still can get the one seed. I think the chiefs win, I think the chief's win big. And they're going to play their starters. I know that. They're going to roll. So you have that. You have the colts who are, I think, 15 and a half over the Jaguars. Which is way too high. But I watched the Jaguars the last two weeks. Part of you doesn't root for the comet situation where Jaguars went and then we were going into this whole prison. I watched them last week. They're awful. They couldn't be worse. They stink. It's a terrible team. They're just trying to get to the off season. They have nothing. They have no receivers. They can't move the ball. They're not going to beat the colts. I really wanted you and cousin Sal doing an imitation of Alan Chris discussing. Now, do they go for this here? Do they all just tie and take me? These chargers. How would be so mad? Oh, I think he might like it because he's all he's a conspiracy theory guy. He might like it. Well, we have the colts, -15 a half, but we can get creative with that one. And then the third one is the bills. Who have out of the three, the least amount of stake because they're in the playoffs either way. And it's like, all right, so maybe we could say, all right, we don't win the division, but we're still like the top wild card. There's stakes, but it's not like massive stakes. They're playing the jets who've been undecided, they frisky over the last couple of weeks. And they are huge favors too. That line is like 16 and a half right now. Huge money line. Now fando has alternate spreads. Which we've been enjoying a $1 million pixel last couple weeks. We can take the colts down to minus two and a half. That's -800. That's good. We could take the bills down to minus two and a half that's -800. And we could take the chiefs down to minus two and a half at minus four 70. And if you put.

"Together. The pip boss, what's coach's name? Rich masaccio. Pippa's rich on the sidelines. No real deep thread at all. Like I just, I can't imagine that that's a playoff team. Okay, first off, let's look back at that chargers chiefs game that we bet our biggest wager ever on a team was the chiefs. They were sleeved down 11 in that game had no right winning that game and then at the end, Derwin James goes down and Travis Kelce and tyreek hill could not be stopped. That goes ten days after that, the Chargers then after everyone was like, hey, they went blow for blow with the chief, but lost. They get blown out by the Texans, but they didn't have dur went out there. They didn't have Mike Williams out there. They didn't have heckler. They didn't have linsley. They didn't have Bosa. Then last week they got all their guys back. And they were awesome. They were great. And there's demons with the Chargers, especially against the Raiders. I did a whole deep dive on it. And every big game they've ever played, every one of them, the Raiders have won. And that includes a 1980 AFC championship game with plunket and I remember at Flores, yeah. Yeah. And then it also includes, of course, if you want to talk about the holy roller, whatever it is. But they've been in the same world since 1960. And the Raiders have now the Chargers want to bunch in a row with rivers and they never have a big game. Well, they're also doing John Madden's widow lighting the torch before the game. They're bringing out the raider history for this because we're alluding to. Yeah. It's a home game for the Raiders. They're going to be taking all the and Derek Carr, you know, they went to the playoffs one time when he was on the team, but he got hurt in week 16 or week 14 and it was Connor cook who was taking snaps against he's never played in a playoff game. If ever there was, hey, all eggs in this bed. This coach, if they make the playoffs this coach might have to be kept on. Like, he might be the head coach next. Hippos, rich. There's a chance. They have the opportunity because they fired a coach in Jon Gruden. They're allowed to interview other coaches right now. If you notice the Jaguars are interviewing other coaches because they fired urban. The Raiders can they haven't and they're like, we're still on the platform. We're not going to do that. We're not moving on their coaches. So there's so much at stake here and there's so much like nobody believes in us. Look at all we've overcome. Let's just get one more win. Let's do it for Derek. They love Derek Carter. All that stuff. And the Chargers it's kind of like, to me, better team, but also like, eh, we don't do it this year, maybe we make it next year. Oh no, that's alarming. What do you think? I just think the Chargers are better. And I think one of the things that the Raiders, we've seen, how many times car just get discombobulated if you can actually pass Russia. Not so here. But it did happen earlier this year. Remember? And I think it was, wasn't it the Chargers? Wasn't it bossa? It was. Who is calling over the place and made the comments after? So there's that piece of it too. He says he folds when you hit him. Yeah. So you got that element too, but yeah, it's the movement has been on the charges all week. So the thing I was thinking was, I like the Chargers, but the minus three worries me because of their history with kicks. Yes. Where I could see betting that minus three, but they went by two or by one. So I was thinking money line. I don't think you can talk me into the Raiders. I think because I think we are now in, we're now in like official. It's not week four. It's not week 8. We're now an official Boston wall to enter team wins. Yeah, this is now a playoff situation. And that's usually when teams like the Raiders kind of start falling off. What do you make of hunter renfrow in a big game? Terrified of them. Terrified. Terrified. Perhaps one of the best stories in football this year. 97 catches. He's far away from breaking the Raiders franchise record. And no one has been able to stop him. And it looks like they're going to have Waller back too. So there's some definite no question. I think there's going to be more money in the Chargers. There's some nobody believes in us with the Raiders. They're home dog, which is scary. The John Madden's widow, that whole piece, that's a little scary. So yeah, I'm not saying go all in, but I keep looking at this going. How are the Chargers not favored by four? Yeah, and I think there's just a lot of intangible stuff that is going in the Raiders favor here and there's a lot of momentum with three straight wins and all this stuff. And they're playing for this coach. Boss or not, they're playing for them. They got a new guy at linebacker. Number 5, he's got the best name. Divine Diablo. And he was all over the field on Sunday, bottling up Jonathan Taylor. I know I sound like I'm rooting for the Raiders in this one. I'm not. There's something fun about this team. It's a fun zag. Dave zagged us all year. They've Zac dust on $1 million picks. A couple of times. Thanksgiving. Even last week, last week. But I still think like, all right, it's a nice story, but you still go back to Cleveland week 15, Denver week, 16, indie week, 17. Were there barely scratching out these games that a lot of stuff's going in their favor? Whereas I look at the Chargers, week after week, just searching to get all their best guys in the field at the same time. Now it's finally happening. So the question for me is, if we think Herbert's.

"Think it's chase right now, but I think Mac can win it this week against Miami. If they win. She needs to he needs to win a good game. He needs to win a game against a good team that he was the number one reason they won the game. Do you need I say that as somebody who owns a Mac Jones t-shirts Jersey and loves Mac Jones and defensive to everybody. I want to see him have an awesome game that they need, where it's like, we won that game because of Mac Jones. Yeah. We've seen it again shitty teams we've seen against mediocre teams. He's lost a couple games, like the indie game. Come close. Cowboys. He's played great in Tampa. We played great. But second half of Indianapolis here. It can win. He needs that and the team needs that. There's some Miami skeletons, which is weird because Belichick's owned everybody for the last 20 years, especially in the AMCs. But there's been random games. That was the team of my childhood. They always beat us. Going down to Miami, Brady had a couple of tough losses there. They played them really well the first time they're going to they're going to do the same kind of crazy blitzing thing that buffalo did that week. They're just going to put a lot of guys in the line. They're going to dare us to throw deep and max going to have to make plays. That's how they're going to have to win the game. They have nothing to play for though, Miami, nothing. I don't know if that stops them. Because two things, once one is Flores, who I think loves going into paths. I don't see him rolling over for any reason. You can build momentum to the next year with the we swept the paths. We have a chance, but also more importantly for them, this is like the two what do we have? Is this a guy we want to build around next year game? Because this is like a facsimile playoff game for them in a lot of ways. The Patriots absolutely have to win. Yeah. They who knows buffalo and the jets. I know buffalo is a massive favorite, but the Jets have played pretty well the last couple weeks. And you never know, who knows? He won at least be hanging around, but more importantly, you want the highest wild card seat possible. I don't know. If I'm on my email, I want to see from a saw it last week, it was alarming. He was awful. I want to see it because if he doesn't show anything in this past game and then last week, how do I build around him next year? And if you remember week 17 last year, they played buffalo in a meaningless game for buffalo. And Isaiah McKenzie, of course, and tua was, I think they lost like 52 to ten or something. It was another week 17, nothing for the bills. Everything for the dolphins, and they just didn't show up. It was embarrassing. So to we got roped in last week, we lost. We had a positive week, but we got roped in on the whole Miami. Maybe their defense. And two, it was just awful. The variable coach of the year that's happening. I think yeah, I think the only other would be Lafleur if you looked at what he had to personally deal with with just Rogers and all the hysteria this summer and he kept a steady hand and they finished with the number one seed. I think that's the only other option. Fables plus two 4 a.m. fandom is the third best odds. Who are the first two? Taylor's plus one 75 Lafleur is plus one 95. Both of those guys could lose this week. The variable them getting a number one seed is incredible. Every everybody div or any sort of playoff rating that you see they're always there is like 8th or 9th in whatever list you have. And they've missed week one ravaged by COVID. They lost their receivers for like three, 88, lost their Henry. Yeah. So I don't see how it's not very but I think that would be nice. Anything else you want to hit with the words? Yeah, I mean, this is going to be a plug for the McVeigh coaching tree, but everyone laughed and sneered when Zach Taylor and Lafleur got those jobs. Like, oh, just because your friends are in an elevator with McVeigh but here we are. And mcvay's got a division title in the balance. Those guys are both winning division titles. Maybe it's all right to hire some of the younger guys in the league. I knew you were going to do that. I just let you do it. Yeah, just served it up for you. So this week, our strategy with week 18, which used to be week 17. Stay away from the games that don't mean anything. I'm just out. There's no way to predict it. I think you have a legitimate gambling problem if you're like, I have some thoughts on the Giants game. Like, no, stay away. There has to be some sort of stakes for somebody. Is what we're looking at. Now, the big one is charges.

"In Michigan, 802 7 O 7 one one 7, Tennessee one 808 8 9 9 7 8 9, or West Virginia, 1800 gambit net. We're going to talk about week 18 in a second. There's a couple more fun awards. So Sal and I, when we were doing Sunday's pod, and I was, I just thought Jamar chase was going to be the offensive rookie of the year and so I was like, no, no, Mac Jones is like a heavy favorite. I'm like, really? Chase, I think had 5 monster games this season. He also had a stretch where he disappeared for like three weeks. But he had these 5 games that were just like just these crazy aberration games. I'd never seen a receiver in rookie year since Randy Moss be able when you can tell he has it going and you're watching the game and be like, oh my God, they can't cover this guy. So right now I'm fando. He's minus two 50. Mac Jones is plus 200. That swung dramatically. One day chase was like plus 500 heading into last week's game. He was. And I do a segment of good morning football where I rank the rookies each week about their performances, but also I kind of say, okay, if it was to be right now, here's who the offense. And all year, it's been Mac, even when he was losing games. So it's like because it's a quarterback. And this is the New England Patriots. Everything. And then chase goes to 66 for three tugs against the chiefs and suddenly it's like unanimous Jamar chase. But as the patriot voice here, I think Mac does deserve some consideration for this award, especially because Jalen waddle is going to likely break The Rookie reception letter record for rookies. And devonta smith's really good and Amman ra saint Brown is going to finish with like 85 catches this year and is going to finish with the fourth or 5th most ever for a rookie too. Like, I just feel like the receiver position when it comes to rookies. These guys are all having big ears, but all the other quarterbacks are dreadful this year. I think it's chase right now, but I think Mac can win it this week against Miami. If they win. She needs to he needs to win a good game. He needs to win a game against a good team.

"Since he week 5, over time, they won by three. Arizona week 8, they won by three. Lost to the chiefs in week 9, but Rogers didn't play. Rams, week 12, 36, 28. And we're done. Pretty easy schedule for the most part. Now, some obstacles for him, right? The receivers, it was guys were missing almost every week, and you mentioned the offensive line stuff. I get it. I also don't think their defense was that good, heading down the stretch, but their defense did win them some games. I think in the first 60% of the season. But Rogers was never in the mix until like three weeks ago because we couldn't really think of anybody else who should be the MVP. And then it's like, well, if it's a quarterback going to win, he should take it, but we're ready to give it to Brady three weeks ago and then Brady kind of tailed off. Berdy lost 9 nothing to the same. That was it. Murdered it. And Alan before had that shitty game when I was like, could it be Josh Allen? Nope, sucked. Rogers never had the oof. That sucked. He just kind of kept cruising along. I think he'll win. I don't think he'll win unanimously, but even last week, Jonathan Taylor being bottled up by the Raiders and that was his. Everyone's had that game where it's like, wait, where was he? And they lost. The packers continue to win and Rogers continues to be good. So I'm fine with it. Can we do the exercise of if you remove the player from the team, how different from the record be? I would say Rogers and cup would be the two that would have had the most dramatic difference. If they just don't have cup, this whole season, what's the rams record? They 5 and 12? How the hell would they have scored? Is van Jefferson said they get the ball 20 times a game? Like, what do they do? No. And I've said it on this podcast, and I've said it on good morning football. He's a quarterback cup. He sits in every position room. He knows every position. He is a quarterback on the field, if not a coach on the field, and they rely on him so much. And what's cool with him and Stafford is like, so golf and cup were roommates when they first got in the league and cup and golf shared the same agent. They were all buddies and it was great. So Goff has shipped out in a cup immediately becomes best friends with Stafford. Their wives are good friends. They have breakfast every morning. They're in there at 6 30 in the morning. There's work that is put into this. And cups done everything he possibly could if ever there was going to be a wide receiver MVP season. It was this one. I went down into the wormhole of research and Jerry Rice's 1995 season. It's widely viewed as the greatest season ever. And he got ten votes and lost to Favre, and that's fine, whatever it is. You put up through just even the 16 games. Cup has better numbers across the board. And immediately, I said that. And I got back. Yeah, but it was a different game back then. What Jerry Rice did was insane back then. Okay, then why doesn't anyone else put the numbers up that could recover is doing right now? If the game is so different, why is he such a such a giant mile ahead of everybody in every statistical category? It's been an unbelievable season. It's been a joy to watch, and he might not win MVP. That's fine, but I think us even talking about it here. It's a testament to how good he's been. Rice had the iconic 95 season. And commemorated with mad 96, which was really the first really good I'm older than you. 96 was the first really truly good version of Madden. The font of the 96 and the little tilted on the cover and it was just so good. I think that was the year you could intentionally injure your opponents. And you could just, you could hit somebody after the whistle and somewhere I would go, oh no. There's a man down. And you could get fights with if you're playing the part of somebody. Would you ever play with when they first put out the classic teams? I remember that's how I learned about the old school. Oh, yeah. Would you play with like the 85 patriots? Oh yeah. Well, there's one year. I think that might have been a 96 where they had the worst secret codes. You could put stuff in, and you could just kind of guess in these teams would pop up. It was so cool. They had a bunch of pats in the old uniforms. Wonderful stuff. There's been a lot of retrospectives on Madden's career and all that stuff. And I think everyone kind of talks about it. And then the video game and all the kids play it, but like that sweet spot of like EA Sports Sega genesis 92 to 96, like Bill, there was nothing better. And everyone raves about tecmo. But ask Madden, that option, the ability to play a season, which technical had, but this was totally different. And then the craziest part was when all of a sudden, the name show up on every like what a cool game. Also, way less to do back then. So it was way more important. Madden came out, it really was like a significant event. What place seasons in my childhood bedroom.

"Probably not playing this week, right? And if you play one series. Brady's plus 5 50 he's not winning. Taylor's 14 to one. I think that ship sailed. Burrows not playing. He's 21. That's not happening. Cups 40 to one. Out of all the guys I just mentioned because Josh Allen's 41 mahomes 40 to one. None of those guys are running. There is a scenario in this rams niners must win game. I was trying to think, what would be kind of turn the fucking camera? Let's go early. Turn it on, just to press on. What would cup have to do in week 18 to make us reconsider the MVP award? And I was thinking like 18 catches for a 188 yards and three touchdowns and they win by four and it's just like the final Cooper Cup nail in the coffin, but also eliminates matters clinches there, NFC west clinches their seed first time packing for beating the niners and 5 meetings. They haven't beat them their own 5 last 5. But if he does that and they're just talking about him the whole game and it's Triple Crown and it's 2000 yards and he finishes with 18 touchdowns and it just lines up. I could see the narrative shifting a tiny bit. The national gay matters, it'll be buck and Aikman and Aaron and rinaldi, so you'll have on the Fox number one game. I think that matters because we get captivated by what the narrative is. I think he needs to go and it sounds crazy. He needs to go like 20 for 200. And that's what he needs. He needs to have a crazy game where it's he's shattered. So we've seen this. In basketball, we've seen this. Like the famous David Thompson versus George gervin. It's like, oh, I need 63 points to win this current title boom. I do wonder like, obviously, the rams are going to try to win, but mcvay, it would be fun if McVeigh was like, fuck it, let's try to get him, let's go. I know he wants to win this game. Desperately over Kyle Shanahan, who used to work for in San Francisco and for years just can not beat him. And. Can we talk to roger stuff? Do you want to go down that road? 'cause you and I mentioned it in week three. Hold that and we'll talk about it in a second. Last thing with who has a shitty secondary? Yeah. Oh, it's a niners. They all have their right now. They all are on the COVID list. There's 6 of them on the COVID list. The niners DBs. Now, they might all be back on Sunday. But here's the issue. They're going to be winded. They haven't practiced 6 different defensive backs as of Thursday night, have not practiced all week. And they're not good anyway. don't know, I don't know what the number has to be, but I do think there's a number for the MVP thing to switch because you made the key point. Rogers is at better seasons. It feels like he's winning it by default to some degree. I think what was that guy's name bum urkish? What was his name? Hub? Cover. I'm calling him bump. Hubrich, who everybody, I love when people just get totally been out of shape about dumb shit like this. Like, who cares? That was for a long time. It was a Twitter straw man that someone was not going to vote for him that once someone came out and actually said it, everyone on Twitter. It was like people are like, I actually think that it should be just the football on the field. Like, 99% of us agree. Like, yes. That's how that should be. There are straw men arguments that are that like we laugh at. But then you all of a sudden get someone to say it on the record and you're like, oh jeez, so everyone and their mother came out of the woodwork was like, if I had a vote, I would vote for the best player on the field. Yes, we all would. What are you talking about? Well, if you're voting for the best part in the field, it's Cooper Cup. I mean, he's had the best season this year. And honestly, Taylor has been as good as Rogers too. I think the packers have had a lot of success, but you know, the schedule thing does matter. I think he's been the best quarterback. So if we're going to just going to say the quarterback wins this every year, then let's just call it the best quarterback award. But he certainly hasn't been the best player. Cooper Cup has the argument with well, so they have that offensive player of the year award. The argument would be we give up that award. And it's like, always, who has the best stats or whatever it is? And then MVP is the guy that lets their number one seed and they're doing it with a patchwork offensive line who's actually played really well, but without bakhtiari and without Lindsey left and without Billy Turner, all these guys. And then you can say that in a year of everyone and all this and all this stuff, they overcame and he's been the best player in the big games. That's fine. I'm not going to lose a second of sleep when he wins it. It's fine. Me neither. Statistically, Bill, I went through it. 9th in passing yards doesn't lead in touchdowns. His one thing he leads in is pass a rating, and that's awesome. That's a great stat. But in the games that aren't played against NFC north opponents, he's got a passer rating under 100. So you can't control your division, but gosh, you know, he's had some huge days against those three teams. Well, and you go through how many playoff teams, because we have a general idea of the playoff teams who are going to be how many playoff teams did the packers play?.
