"Now we got Zac Little taking us behind the spraying champagne at noon and Bruce Bochy at 12 30. Sean joins us, courtesy of the biggest line. What's happening? Hey, guys, I'm Mr Patel. Behind the scenes are the champagne spring. Well, uh, good stuff or what He's coming out with new because belt told us that he thought the the players who would get after the most would be the guys in the bullpen is that kind of been your experience at the crazy drinking guys are in the bullpen. No, not my experience. No, I mean different shooter back. Maybe, you know, maybe he knows their personalities. Yeah. Maybe he knows the bullpen guys personalities. Maybe they just like to get after it. More than most guys. Um, but I don't That's not from my experience is pretty good. Much been a mixed bag. Um, yeah, yeah. I mean, the guy that pitching today probably didn't didn't go too hard, you know? Yeah, Tony D. I mean, I'm sure he would have liked to of but you gotta You gotta pull back the reins a little bit when you got to pitch the next day, So, Yeah, they celebrate Heck. You got to celebrate every every moment you have at this point, you know? I mean, I'm sure the Dodgers once they clinch a spot won't celebrate because it's a World series or failure for the for that club. But men as far as this giant teams come along, I mean, you've got it. You got to celebrate every every positive moment. You can Yeah, That's an interesting point. I was thinking of that last night. How did the Dodgers handle, you know, clinching a wild card spot when they won eight straight National League West. That's not their goal. Um, So you know, we like to differentiate between bullpen guys and starting pitchers, but that's not the way the game is being played anymore. And I keep going back to your most hilarious text exchange message you ever sent me was June. The 15th and your your thought about the openers. Uh, whenever I need to get cheered up, I read that one. Um, but they're not going openers because there's no starter coming in behind. So I thought it was just so fitting that dominantly own starts the game that they clinch. You get their 94th win 144 games and he shops for two innings. And then it's just a parade of both Penner's So are you starting to Appreciate this a little bit more. I mean, look at this eight game winning streak they've had now Sean Dominic Leone has been the starting pitching picture for three of the NBA and AM, including maybe the biggest single win of the year. That Sunday night er against the Dodgers. So Uh, as you watch it more. Are you embracing it a little bit, and you know, could you see them doing this? With Don Leone in playoff games. Well, I'm not bracing it only because it's out of necessity. I don't think it's something that during the season that it's going to, uh Well, you never know. I mean, I mean, I'm sure now that they've had some success with it. I mean, just don't want to make a habit of it because then you definitely do blow up your bullpen, but I mean, you get an expanded roster right now. You have 28 guys to work with a couple extra arms down the bullpen and you have a couple starters in your rotation that ever eaten up innings, so you can afford to do that right now, and it's working, which is great. But I think if you're talking playoffs, you know there might be a situation of playoffs where arises, But you could think that you could run out your three best guys. Gausman Web Kobani. And potentially would in that four slot and you have a you'd rather go with those guys to chew up those innings in the playoffs and give yourself team the best chance to win. There may. There may be a situation. I think it's more out of desperation in this city. I mean, right now we're seeing the bullpen games and you're right. The opener. I'm not a big fan of But the bullpen game is completely different than an opener because that's that's the thing that that's something implement. You talk about it. You implement it because you think you know it's the best way. It's the best way to have to give a team a chance to win on that given day. Um, you have that guy go a couple innings. You back them up with the starter. I just don't like messing with it that way. But when you have guys coming out of the bullpen That are normal that are used to come out of bullpen. And then you have a bullpen guy that has actually figured out a way to get ready for a start. Like Leone House who's done a tremendous job. You could call him a starter. That's a different mentality all together. That's why I don't like it per se, because you know if it completely different routine and mentality from going to the bullet and having to start a game. Now, after that, it kind of just you know the dominoes fall where they do because Those guys are coming out of the bullpen. They're getting warmed up. Just like a normal bullpen day would be for them, so I just always can more concerned about Leone and how you would handle a start. And he's answered that call. I mean more than once now, so if they get to a situation a playoff game And they need they feel like that's the best chance that they have to win a game. Yes, I would feel more comfortable with it at this point, then I would have said a month ago, but as far as like during the regular season and implement a bullpen game every fifth day or whatever. I'm not a big fan of that. You know, I think I think it's time. The time will dictate that right now is the time you know you're down two stars and you don't have that You don't have that kind of confidence in the guys that are in Triple A Now that might change. We might see cosmic tomorrow and I haven't heard But you might use somebody They can give them some length and tomorrow's game, But they just don't have a ton of confidence in anybody else right now, um, to pick up those innings, and so Is good a bullpen as they've had all season long. That's how they feel that it's given them team their team. The best chance to win and so far so good on that. Shawn Estes is joining US guys are having the debate last night Pop and Randy Winn on Giants postgame live about how many wins it will take. It's great that they get the wild card. I think they should celebrate like you just said. It's a major accomplishment over 100 and 44 games. But I start looking at the West and the way that the Dodgers are playing. They got Kershaw back last night. So they won 94 They've got 18 left there on a pace to win one of five. So that's 11 and seven the rest of the way. I don't think what the Dodgers two games back in the loss column that 11 and seven and 105 wins even gets it done. What do you think? Yeah, well, we're talking maybe a month ago. Um, maybe not even that long ago. But how many games it was going to take to win? And and I felt like at that 0.1 of three would would have got it done. But now I'm starting to think a little bit different the way the Dodgers have been playing and like you mentioned there. Getting completely healthy at the right time for them, much like the Giants are. So I like the fact that the Dodgers are playing good baseball like the fact that the Giants still have work to do, And they know that because incentive is a beautiful thing and the incentive to go out and play good baseball is to win this division. So you know you're not going to have that. Okay? We clinched a playoff spot. Now we can rest some guys. I've always hated that because that's how you really lose momentum. Um, you know there's a rhythm of a team when when you do that, But so they're going to have a pedal to the metal all the way to the end, so That's that's that's encouraging. Do you have a team like the Dodgers? That is pushing them? Um, but will it be enough? I mean, they're they're running out of guy every day. The Dodgers are, um, that can dominate and we saw it was sure as for the other night. Bueller..

"Mike Jastremski. You gotta have a friendly rivalry going on right now. You have said that in the post game. As they put on the goggles and took on the champagne. You said the burn feels so good as the Giants get the wild card, so we'll get into a lot of conversations about 11 30. Shawn Estes will join us that's in about six minutes. Then the hotel will tell us what happened during the party atmosphere. And Brandon Belt did say in that same interview that he thought the relievers were the ones we're going to get. After the Mosul. Zack will tell us and then Bruce Bochy, I'm sure will be very open about taking the Padres job and he'll join us at 12 30. So a lot of good stuff in the next 30 minutes. You can glimpse things, John, if you ask the question, cleverly, that's right. Answers it or not, um, how much they paying him to be a consultant? She's not enough. Does he make more than a manager makes? I don't think so, but honestly and Cape you love because he's so honest, he said, Uh, that's a good time for gave to go ask for an extension. Well, what is that going to be a talking point gave signed a three year deal. Last year. They overachieve people make it out. Like you know, it's a shock that they're 94 50. I will give you that. But they were one bad call away one base it away from going to the playoffs last year and playing the Dodgers and that three game wild card. Um, but I mean, and then so they had a good year last year. But this year it's just, um he's going to win. He should have win the manager of the year award. Unanimously, he's going to get every single first place vote. When is the talk about giving him a contract? Extension. Um And then how do you keep Bruce Bochy from taking the Padre shop would be the other part of it. I think that is a concern. Just one other. You know about the Padres and Hosmer, I He did something early in the year when we saw him back in May. Well, this is a championship player. We saw him at the Royals. Good player. Just didn't make a proper out. Uh, when we saw him just don't play fundamental baseball. How about it, And it's not a big deal with a 91 game. I know. But he opens the ninth inning against curving Castro with a single. The ball that will Myers set off the top of the wall that almost went out and bounces back past your Stransky. How does he not score that ball? How does he stop at third base? Well, Myers, I was thinking may wind up on third. Hell, it may be an inside the park home run. At least it's a triple. But he has to stop its second because Hosmer barely made it to third. What the hell are they doing there? I mean, that's the kind of stuff when you're watching the Padres play, and Mark Sweeney can can be. Tactful. They just don't play the game. The right way at all. They giants are playing amazing. They're squeezing every little bit out of this roster and the way they gave managers the game. But their players are getting worse. What has happened to you, Darvish? Uh and they're paying these guys huge amounts of money, Machado and, uh, Chatty's But what is Eric Hosmer's deal? That's the first move that Preller made before he brought the other guys in was to get him. How does he not score on the Will? Myers double was the one that was like? Are you kidding me? How does he not in that? It's the kind of thing where will Myers is selfish guy? He goes over and starts to choke him. He just cost me an R B. I know it's 9 to 1 but play the game the proper way. They are just I don't know They're being mismanaged. Frankly. So I mean, if you were the owner of that team, you're watching that Yeah, You started reaching out to Bruce Bochy. No doubt China's This will join us coming up. Next we'll get into last night celebrations pitching moving forward. And how many games is going to take to win the N L West 18 left to go. You guys are discussing this yesterday. What is Sean? Think we'll ask him next we hear on the SportsCenter. You're listening to Papa and Lund on both sides of the dial KNBR one. Oh 45,.

"In 16 years. It was also a very kind of surprising year like nobody saw that coming really nice job. That was kind of the come up to this year. Yes, when Brian Sabean traded Matt Williams and everything, but they still had very bad's. There's no very bonds on this team. Although Buster Posey already argued Thursday, Buddy Shawn Estes was a pretty big factor in 97 to 2. Big year. Yeah, you know, it's jumped out at me, dude, not one, but two pagan catches to anywheres Angel. Forgotten. Hell, he's peacocking somewhere, Francie. Were you a pagan guy? Po? Yeah, sure, to a point, you know? I well, because it was a tough ending. Remember with the back and didn't play in the Cubs? The Cubs suit and it was like to we kind of need you right now, says a younger voice here. Were you a pagan supporter? Endorser? Totally health man. My buddy Jason, always rift that he was doing that salute to the dugout before he was like even set on second base. He'd be like stealing second stretch into W go into the slide any be saluting that to to the third base dugout before he was even called safety, celebrating, he will always associated with the inside the park homer on Memorial Day. That was kind of told him while he wasn't there never really was no, I believe he also did. He makes the catch that ended the epic Reds at bat with Jay Bruce. Was that was the day of your navy. Or did he make the last out of that game? That's a good that red. Yeah, that we were some Bitcoins. Yes, Yes, Yes. They sing walking through the room, and there was a crazy pence catch. I want to see a nervous one in right field. I think it was pagan, though. I don't know it was a lot of big place to look at the people they Navy either caught the last out or the Bruce at bat and Pagan either caught the last out or the Bruce at bat..

"We're bringing you fast, Reliable shipping nationwide home run by Wilmer Flores And a couple of doubles giants left seven men on base. The Cubs had five runs. Clubs had Nine hits in the game and one error. The Cubs left seven runners aboard as well. The winning picture is Logan Web and he is now 10 and three And Jake McGee gets his 31st save this year, losing picture the starter for the Cubs, Justin Steele, and he is now three and three. The home run by Flores was his 18th of the year, equaling his career best. He and half hit the Cubs. Only homer number 22 for him three hours and two minutes the time of the game and the big crowd of 32,021 at Wrigley. The Giants in September of 1995 swept a three game set at Wrigley and not 26. Years later, they do it again the first time in all those years. So the Giants will maintain their 2.5 game lead. At least the Dodgers are still underweight in L. A against the Padres holding a one Nothing lead back of Max Scherzer shares her is still pitching a no hitter through the first four innings. In that ballgame. It is one to nothing. The Dodgers got to run on a Corey Seager homer in the fourth inning against Nelson Lamont, who came on In relief and was not very effective. Remember the starter for the Padres Blake Snell limped off the mound, having thrown only 11 pitches in the first inning of that game on the Toyota out of town scoreboard. Darren Chan has been our on site producer and engineer, our network coordinator downtown studios Rafael Corral. The Giants now will have the happy flight home and begin there. Next to the last home stand of the year. The Padres will be in tomorrow night. The four game series the Giants getting ever closer. To help but I believe the magic number for the Giants to clinch. A playoff spot, not the division, but a playoff spot is down to two. So they Have a good chance of the clinching it either Tomorrow night or Tuesday, depending on what the other teams play do, and we'll see what happens tomorrow night as the Giants who will have a bullpen game, and maybe Scott Kazmir He might actually get a start. We'll see what happens or Jose Quintana. But whoever it is be a bullpen kind of a night for the Giants against the Padres tomorrow, 6 45 1st pitch on the radio with our pregame show at 5 45. We'll see you then. Now this is John Miller four day Fleming. And Shawn Estes and our colleagues doing Kiper and microscope. Thanks for tuning in. "It's the Giants and the Rockies, and it's a getaway day. The Jazz are heading to Chicago after the game today. I'm John Miller was Giants manager Gabe Kapler. And the cap with the the day game. I don't know if everybody having to play an altitude and whatnot, and after the long night and Sunday after the grueling but rewarding series with the Dodgers. And all of that, if if everybody is even, uh, recovered just yet with this day game today How does it look with your guys out there? I think that's the right question. Um, it's it's difficult to come to correspondent Field period. Definitely a challenge to travel to Denver because it does take Body awhile to adjust. I can share that. I didn't. I didn't sleep all that well last night, you know, probably snuck in a few hours, but I think our players are probably no different. We had a late arrival time. So just in case it was a rougher night of sleep. These guys were able to get on the bus. Later, and many of them are kind of still arriving to the ballpark now, so try to buy a little extra time for them and do the best thing that we can for their bodies. Understanding of the Dodgers series was physically and mentally taxing. And then the tough travel followed by the day game, And now we've got a knight Day turnaround. So good thing that the day off is coming tomorrow. Um and we're just going to try to wrap these guys up and Get them ready to take on Iraqis team that that is that's going to be ready for us as well. And when you talk about the arrival time of the ballpark, we are taping today's show about two hours before game time just to give Our listeners the idea of of of what that is. So now it is also a place because of the altitude. That hydration is so critical and and also It's one of those places where you have the the supplemental oxygen in the dugout in the clubhouse and whatnot, which I guess can be you How often do guys have to use that during the course of a game? I think you know, whatever they feel like it's going to help them as as important as Things like the oxygen in the dugout and staying hydrated. Um, Colorado is and and Denver. Of course, Field in particular is famous for for their doughnuts. And we definitely need to fuel up that way as well and sort of only half joking here because I think there is something to be said for like having something to look forward to in the morning at the ballpark and coming in and You know, kind of biting into a Sprinkle donut. Get ready for a big digging. All right? Okay. No, I was I kept thinking. Why is it that I like to go there? And with all that stuff, So now I understand perfectly alright. Now. Last night, Logan Web And first off. I know on our telecast, Shawn Estes made the comment that he thought that that may well have been Logan Web's best to start of the year. Uh, how did you view that Excellent job by Webby continues to look more and more employs more and more confident every time He goes out there and touches the rubber, and it's also kind of fun to see him have so much swagger in the battery box as well. So, um, he's just a good all around baseball player and teammate right now. Carribbean. Castro made his major league debut last night gave the Giants too strong innings. He looked composed. He looked more like a veteran out there. Except there was that moment when he first got to the mound When Buster approached, care being reached out his right hand, he wanted to shake his hand. I love that. I love that because, you know, I mean, I think that's an area where turban and for good reason is a little bit green. Um, I think Buster was going out there to encourage. I think that's exactly what we hoped for, and kind of a veteran leader, you know extra coats on the field and busters. To kind of provide that sort of support and leadership, thanks greatly curved long to shake hands. At that moment, there was lots of hugs and shaking hands after his adding, as well, There was, I think that's what we said on the telecast was Buster may well have said Yeah, We'll have time for that after right, right. Everything just looks so impressed. Like Mr Posey. I'm so pleased to meet you. And, uh, yeah, that's awesome. It That would be a fun, um, captioning exercise there. You know, Comic strip would be called the right right that out a lot of great moments for the Giants last night and in these last few days for sure, more cap right after this. Another day. Another unknown they could bring your biggest order yet, or a new cyber threat. Whatever happens, Comcast business will keep you ready with the network.

That's where Blackman's throw wet. But it's too late. Do bond drives into He is three for three and on base for the fourth time. It's 10 to 1 Giants. Tendo on giants and it was looking very promising at that point, because Gausman was looking so great. But then the Rockies gotta run on an RB triple by black men in the six to make it 10 to 2. Hamson had a two out home run in the seventh. As a guardsman was trying to get that final out trying to fill up the strike zone, and he did on the next hitter, get the final out seven innings, three runs, five hits, allowed nine strikeouts. Taking the Giants deep into the game. As they needed so much with as hard as the bullpen had been worked the last two days, especially but really, for the whole weekend series with the Dodgers, so that was critical, and we're going to make Kevin Gausman, the player we give credit to for his stellar performance, Kevin Gausman, sponsored by Geico, a proud partner of Major League Baseball. The Rockies also got a couple of runs in the eighth against Caleb Arrogant, a two run homer. By Trevor Story. Was 10 to 5. The next hitter got hit by a pitch, And then the Giants went to the bullpen again for Bravia, and he walked the first batter he faced Diaz and suddenly you started having Visions of of the horror and misery that has occurred so many times in the late innings of games, too, not just the Giants, but to so many teams over the years, But Bravia then got the next guy Fuentes and then Don Leone. And maybe they would like to have Kept Leone out of the game. But with the Rockies having made it so threatening there in the eighth inning, Leon came on for the night and he was never better. He dispatched the Rockies three up, three down and only five pitches game over. Time now for the K counter sponsored by cars for kids, That's cars with a K donate your car today, Giants pitchers had nine strikeouts, all of them recorded by Kevin Gausman and the same for the Rockies nine strikeouts. I mean, there there, guys, you don't you've never heard of coming out of the bullpen where this guy come from where this guy comes from all these nasty striking guys out, you know, it's like, but that's what they do. They figure out the guys that are going to work and they're very interchangeable parts during the season. And the Giants have kind of done that. They've kind of settled on the guys. They feel that are going to get him to the promised land and they're going to ride these guys and and I feel very confident the bullpen as a whole. I really do. Um, but the guy that they even the Rays had a guy can't really the Castillo. Whoever he had. There was closing games for a couple years ago in the World Series. I mean, I mean, the guy was filthy on Hunter Manar sinkers slider on top. I mean, they're just They're just It's just, uh, need stuff. Wow, awful. By the way the team he was talking about. I looked it up. We were talking about Mets team is on move on. Like you said Roberto Alamar was on that team and garter. Alfonzo, former giant was on that team shortstop. Ray Ordonez was there was a great defensive infield. Yeah, he could play that. Rami Al Ahmar, Ray Giordano's and our Guardo Afonso. They had a lot of talent. I It was a really good defender. The head dog was a D h playing first base, right? Absolutely. The older, rude there at that time. No Hollywood was earlier. No, he was already gone at that point. Um, Ricky, you know what's funny is too and we've had him on the show. Mike, Mike basic. Was there a bass? Excuse me? I'm sorry to report this longtime scout and former Big League pitcher dictated Row passed away at the age of 74 San Francisco native Murph, who went to high school at Mount Eden and Hayward, digit spent 20 continuous spent 28 years with the Giants. He was the guy who has been credited with fighting and then drafting Tim Lincecum at Madison, Bumgarner. And, of course, Matt Cain. Not not a bad little rotation. I follow on Twitter. Who's the scouts names? Bush said he was scouting Bumgarner at the North Carolina State High School championship. You put this on Twitter, he said. He took the same plane to draw was on his plane. Integra was walking down the aisle and saw him and knew he was a scout for like the Mariners or something. And Tadros said to him as he walked down the auto city cause you're not getting them and just walk. You just the reason doesn't say, being old school like he all he said was. You can see him with the shades, too, on the airplane, because you're not getting them chasing, But then it's also almost like a threat. Yeah, Yeah, It's great. Yeah, He's with us now. So Yeah, I can't right there. No, he's with a great story and integral was very say, being like in his. Yeah. Oh, yeah, very few words. A lot of talent. They had great baseball talent. They had great baseball. Eyes. They knew how to build a team that you want to build a winner. Two different ways. It's going Academy farmhands Way is one way to draw and Serbians. Weight was another way. Three championships, You know, like you said, Finding Linthicum, Bumgarner and Cane. That's one thing. The other thing is, like Sanchez, Romo and Wilson. There you go. I mean, that's a hell of a list. Cops. I remember being a kid watching this guy pitch. It was a name. Yeah, Yeah, he was the name he might have won 21 year, Actually, without looking. I'm going to just I'm gonna That is a possibility that he wants 20. I think it was more of a believer, wasn't he? I'll look it up. Anyway cups. What do you got? I just want to make note of this as he That's a great story, by the way about him seeing the scout from the mirror. Yeah, I'm going to take in 10th overall number 11..

"With Naomi Osaka saying Hey, When my mental health isn't there, and there are things that I can't handle in my public persona or my public life and I'm gonna pull away and I can't be sharing certain things. I think this is why we need to listen to this stuff. And when there is a sport being played that involves head trauma, and we've seen that constant head trauma can lead to some of these really dark places for a lot of these athletes. None of this like this is to me. This is part of a bigger puzzle of mental health in pro sports and football, specifically that we need to pay more attention. Want to just kind of say, respond to that by adding something to That that how serious is it will consider the tragic passing of Greg cars. Unbelievable. Head trauma is definitely part of that story. I'm I don't even think we talked about this talked about because it happened on Friday, right after our show and at blew me away, So I covered him Polly for years. He has reached out to me in the last 23 years. He's listen to the show. He lived in pleasant and he's a graze if you would. If you would talk to me last week about Greg Clark, I'd be like, Oh, great. Great guy has his act together. Beautiful family, his son going to southern Utah to play football. We're Facebook friends. We see all this stuff. Financial. Greg Clark had some nice days out there for the night guy. Funny guys that I had wig. Took his own life No, no. And again, his wife put in the statement. C T. Well, that's why I brought this up and copes is talking about head trauma. Now we're not saying we don't know if that's part of the story here with Richard Sherman, but it's a very serious issue. Obviously, when you're talking about life and death, and you know there's enough carnage and wreckage behind a lot of these NFL guys once they retire me, This is a story we've heard before. Players go leave the house. They forget where they live. They don't know how to get back. I mean, there's a lot of scary stuff out there so Um, I don't know if that's part of the story, but it's certainly a story and it involves a lot of football players are affected, so obviously we'll get more details on that and and wish him and his family. Well, yeah. Tough, tough, tough deal. Not fun to talk about. Shawn Estes and the Giants are more fun to talk about. Someone do that. "Sleep in my bed. I'll take the couch. You know, we need John as we need them. We did him like outside of those. Those motels that say like we have HBO, we have air conditioning. I'm wondering what amenities he has to offer for shown. Yeah, yeah. Texas back. 53, Texas back haven't slowed a little bit better other than making your hot tub. Air conditioning HBO exactly what's for dinner. Are you willing? Are you willing to serve dinner at 10? 30 night when I roll in? Uh, whiskey, you guys? Yeah, Exactly. That's absolutely right. Yeah. Sell it, man. If you want Shawn Estes to hang out and sell it to bed for your dog to you did something for him to take that So, Yeah, God preach. He proposed to hide. Yeah. Over first Rod. That's awesome, man. Hey, it's always good talking to drive safe man, and, uh, we'll talk to you soon Graduation. All right, guys. Sounds good man. Alright, Shawn Estes. He's seriously all summer long. It's all he does is like He's either at a tournament baseball tournament with his boys or he's driving around because this is in laws are from Michigan, and I didn't know he drove back and forth from Arizona. That is a that's a tall man. Something about these left handed former giant pitchers felt was always like that, too, right? He was always like, Yeah, somewhere different on some farm somewhere in the battle in some animal. Yeah, a speaking engagement in the middle of here, there. What's the longest within the country? What's the longest road trip you've ever gone? Like, where to wear when? When I I was I must have been like 10 years old or 11 years old. My mom's best friend lives in Ogden, Utah. Shot dead Ogden, We we drove about 45 minutes north. Salt Lake's accented Yes, we drove to to Utah and as a kid, I mean, I don't know how long of a drive that is. Was that like 14 hours, maybe 15 hours, 12 hours. Not that long, but it's I mean, it was me. I mean, if I was 10, my sister was seven and my brother was four. That's ver Can't believe my mom did that. I can't believe my mom was like, hop in the minivan. So brutal. I remember my mom was for some reason, And this is I mean, I can't. I don't know why this happened. My mom is a big like show tunes, fan and love stuff like that. We listen to something like Tracy Allman Soundtracked all the way to To Ogden, Utah. Dude, I got nothing on Tracy Allman. She I mean, The Simpsons. I know they came off for her show. But we were like bumping Tracy home and all through also the Nevada desert into Utah. I'll tell you, that's a good drive Only because so two years ago we did that drive. They got some friends. So we did like Idaho, Oregon. We did this whole whole thing. And it was only me and George. So he's older. And so I just put the seats back in the back. And then I leave at like midnight and then he sleeps and so for, like, seven or eight hours, I'm just cruising and in Nevada, and you're just hoping that your car doesn't break down right around the prison, But I'm like I'm rolling it like 90 100 Miles an hour in the middle of the night, And it was great because you're just you're just hanging out. And when it was a couple years ago, when cool why he got signed by the Clippers, and then Paul George gets traded over there, and he's a huge sports fan. So I wake him up and we're talking all night about this whole thing. But we did a one shot from Snowbird, Utah, like in the mountains back here to the barrier, and I did have a reservation in Reno because I wanted to gamble. And of course, I kind of asked him. You know, in the middle of the night, I said You want to just, you know, keep on going Or do you want to stop in Reno hoping he would say Yeah, this just stop stop and he goes now, let's just keep going on. I should have never asked She was just pulled off the arrest. Yeah, but I I've done a trip. In fact, he's talking about Michigan. I did a trip because we have relatives in the Midwest, where I had a grandmother died and we had to bring some stuff back, so I volunteered to do it and I went from Michigan. Back to California, and it's sucked because if you do it one day if you do like you just bust went out for like, I don't know, 1 12 hour day or whatever. It's just It sucks, but you just do it right when you do that, and then you've got another one on top of it. It's like what show he is going through tonight. Like I just did the home run Derby and I'm starting in a batting leadoff. What was I thinking? Do doing all these things? It's just you're just like, Oh, I gotta do this again. It's sort of like it's a feeling when you're on the treadmill, and you're like I'm going to do an hour and then you get to like 20 minutes in your life, all right, only two more versions. Of that 20 minutes. Then you get through another 10, and you're like, boy, I still got 30 more minutes. Only two more 15 minute increments concluded never ends. It just keeps going. It's hard keeps going. See him back. What Your mom's when you're talking about your mom, So you just had music. The one thing that keeps you going in a minivan with a cassette tape. It's brutal. And even you know, like when you're growing up like nowadays, if you're on a road trip, and your kid is in the back, and they say they're bored. I want to look I know child protective services listening, but I want to turn around and smack them because Like they have everything. They have 19 movies. They have everything on their iPad. They have an iPhone. They dude we had, like, Let's play the license plate game. Yeah, I just saw it from Illinois was like that was it It was just like, Oh, this is awful. And then you throw the punch on your brother or sister. And then and then you start to fight. You want to kill another half hour? Yeah, You do that, But I mean, it's like nowadays like I listen to you talk or a book, or at least at least it like I bet we did shot a huge favor. Would we knock out 20 minutes? Yeah, He was perfectly Yeah, he didn't think about the road. I thought he was going to just say Hey, can I co host with you two like to And then can I come on with DKB Hang out Because you do You have to fight. You have to trick your mind into like, you know this or that or because And then you get into kind of a rhythm and you're okay. But like the beginning you not got a couple hours and you're like, Oh, I got 12. More of these. It's tough driving across country. You're taking a long drive. Even I mean, like I've done the one from here to l a so many times now that like he has six or seven hours, just like yeah, it sucks, But you hit the grapevine. You're like I'm almost there your whole stretch and you got your little stop offs on the way whatever you're going to do, That's more routine when I guess for people in Northern California, But I'm with you like the the cross country just looking at nothing That's just as a draining man. And you can you run to the problem where you forget you're driving. Oh, yeah. You know that when you get to a place like how did where did the last three hours? Yeah. I don't even remember for that going to hit seven things. I have no idea. Yeah, but here's Here's the big too. You just mentioned this. He's going in Nebraska. I mean, that's like the dumb and dumber. What you like. There's nothing behind this indeed, on a moped, exactly right, put her it along. All right. We'll get things back on track. We mentioned a lot of the Giants with giant superlatives. We did get a chance to talk about that as well as we haven't even hit Gregg Popovich and what the USA did We'll get into all those things. "I don't care how tired he was from last night. Would take him to score. I think that you just brought up some great great information. Greatbatch, you're in Colorado. We want to see the ball fly out of the yard. I absolutely think like you said, And maybe we'll get the information. Maybe we won't that they're not going to put it in a human door so you can get up, You know, Routine populated center field is going to go out of the R and it leaves and then you win. There you go. I should look that line up to see if we score yes or no, I bet I bet the favorite is yes. I would think it would spite shooters are even with shares her and and Otani out there, I would say because you also by the way, you're going to get not only a bat in the first inning, right? Yeah. You're being on the top three hitters on each team and you're betting on on Colorado. Basically, I kind of like that. After seeing a toddy last night, having to take all those tax come out and hit tonight before he pitches. Yeah, well and think about it. I don't have the line is right in front of me. But you know, tattoos is going to lead off for the National League. I mean, you got some power he he's got 28 leads the National league. Yes, he does. So, yeah. I mean, you got some power and you got Otani with 33. He's going to lead off the American League. Yeah. Yeah, that sounds like a pretty good. I think I'll take my chance. So here's the lineups. It's tattoos. Muncie. Erin Otto will be the top three that, uh, he said he's seen one lefty in Max Muncy. And if he gets to number four, is Freddie Freeman, casting honest and Winker After that, the National League Excuse me for the American League hitting, you're going to get show ahead. We're going to get Vlady Junior and you're going to get Bogart's and then they get to 1/4 hitter. It's a judge. Yeah, I think I think I'm gonna take pretty good. I think I'm gonna take yes. For you Pop one out of the yard. I mean, it's probably what you know you're probably not getting great odds on it. But still, I mean, it's you know, money's money. I'll see what we got on this. Because this I think this is where I'm leaning for tonight. I think my first inning bet is the first one I'm gonna get in. We'll do live bets here on the show, John. I'll start putting in action. More work. We're talking about him. Yeah. Alright. Any any of your bets that you like for tonight? Four and 5 85 Let me know. I want to piggyback those 458 away can be all right. It wouldn't be a pitch that should, you know, be allowed to get take first base. An umpire should step in and be like, dude, you you can't like You can't do that. You know, you have to get to allow the pitch to Given the stakes down period. I mean, be here doing a lot in his career, but I one time I just had enough and and he took a curve ball off his knees down the first baseline. I started yelling at him, like, Get out of the way that Bush, you know this and that so the benches cleared for a second. Nothing really happened. It was You know, you know you're yelling at each other, but nothing really and see. There was no there is no punches thrown, but it just You know that it does seem like that. There always is a little bit of like a rivalry between Giants and cardinals. And it's weird because it's not the it's not division stuff. It's just I think to organizations that have had a lot of success. You know, over the course of the years and two teams that are always pretty good and And you know, they all two teams always kind of in my opinion, played the game. The right way. Have great fan bases. And so, yeah, there's probably a little bit more, You know, a little bit more into those games. You know, a little bit more of the rivalry, the non Division rivalry type game with the Cardinals. So, Yeah, I like it. I you know, I don't think it should just be relegated to the You know, if the Dodgers and the Padres is arrival, they think it's fun to have you know some rivalries, another divisions. I love it. You and Fernando via these are going. I think it's in Sacramento, isn't he? Yeah, He's a sad guy. Yeah. Yeah. All right. So, you guys but you guys are cool. Now you see each other at a ball yard? Yeah, Yeah, We're cool. Now. I haven't seen in a long time. But you know, it's We kind of just laughed it off. And who was the biggest dude was like, I don't know. Oh, Mark McGwire, Mark McGuire and his team. He just stood. Yeah. He just went ahead behind the choir. The whole team. Did all that matter? Awesome. You know I would hide behind. Well, numerous guys. You know, Barry, can't you know? Yeah. There you go. Yeah. Can't get there like Bobby s delay. A, you know easier. That guy totally. Yeah, he beat he I think he actually he was catching that game. To be honest with you. I send you out there for he was out there in a hurry. I felt pretty safe at that point. Totally awesome. "Adam Copeland hanging out with you till two o'clock this afternoon. Uh, it's fun to hear at the at the leader. A lot of people coming back into the office. People Vac step showing back up after the holiday. Nice to have people back in studio and to get back to work. Nice to see everybody at the ballgame yesterday, too, Except for the except for the wave like all that. Did not like all that. I don't want people checking in like, Hey, man, you got to let 30 grand do the wave after sitting at home for the last year and a half. I get it. I understand the camaraderie of people and the shared experience of doing the wave. I just don't want to see it at the Giants ballpark, and I know I'm getting my Murph on right now. I've said it a lot like Murph with the whole don't play too short blow the whistle and a Giants game. That's a little bit different. That's a little bit different, Shawn Estes saying. It's more about the knowledgeable fans who are watching the game and paying attention to the game. And I'm telling you, a lot of those same knowledgeable fans were up there going Woo is the wave rolled by, and it was, uh It was no good. I did not endorse it. But again, I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt to people who are on edge after seeing the Giants Creamsicle City connect uniforms, which, by the way, if we're gonna have to pick a bone here with the city connect uniforms. It's not just the red orange look on them. That makes them look like angels jerseys or the straight white matching jersey and pants. It's at the city Connect. Jersey doesn't have the name of the city on it. It also, uh it seems to lack the connection that maybe Nike has with what it is that Giants fans would have appreciated. Or enjoyed, I would have been fired with, like one of those San Fran Psycho. You know that brand. They get the hat with the the bridge logo. That's basically the bridge that they use that logo but rather see it on a hat. Like other than that, that orange sf So anyway, we can talk more about that later. Some good sound coming up in the foreplay. I had a guy hit me on the On the Twitter machine. He gave me just a second ago and he said Cope, she teased, he said, Adam coach. This is from Joe Bertolucci. What up, Joe? I imagine a Bertolucci's probably rooting for Italy right now in that Italy Spain match What's going on in the euro? He says at Adam Coast, My wife and I were just listening to you while driving. And you mentioned foreplay. My wife said Yes, and told me to tell you so, uh, Bartolucci, your wife is going to get the foreplay coming up in just a couple of minutes here. But let's get into something funny. That happened yesterday. Life, I say funny. This is sort of a a running bit that's gone on in Major league baseball. I think everybody remembers was it last season or two seasons ago? Tom Breneman, broadcaster for the Cincinnati Reds. Nick Cassidy, Otto steps up to the plate. Brennaman was caught on a hot mic making a I think it was. It was a gay slur, I think was was what he used and it was in the middle of a double header. He was hot, caught on a hot mic, coming back from break and used a slur that then was broadcast over the Reds broadcast and when he was made aware of this situation, decided he was going to recuse himself from the game and basically from his post and position. Ferb for the remainder of time. So this has become a running bit because as he's apologizing on air for those that don't know Nick Castellanos, left fielder for the Reds, who's going to start the All Star game? By the way, they may be placed right field for the Reds because they got Jesse Winker out there and left, who is also started the All Star game for the National League in Denver. They? Castano's basically hits a home run, while Tom Breneman is issuing his apology. And so now this has become a bit on Twitter, where any time something happens. It can be mid sentence explaining something in Castano sits a high drive to left field That's going to make it a four. Nothing ballgame. Well, it sort of happened again yesterday. But for for those who don't know what's going on here is the original comment from Tom Breneman into the Castano. So I'm running. The reason we're playing. This is it gets a little deeper than this. Here's Tom Breneman and the home run from a couple years ago. I made a comment earlier tonight.

"It really especially kind of puts things in perspective of you know where you're at. And you don't you know a lot of times have an opportunity to talk to other players and other teams and get to know them. And that's one time where you have a congregation of the best players in baseball that you can actually have conversations with and And have share stories with and maybe even get some advice from from someone that you know that they had a lot of success in the big leagues, And so I was able to do all that and I was able to do it and I could I was able to share that with a couple teammates as well. So An experience. I'll never forget. Obviously, the home giving up the home run will not allow me to forget that, But it was it was. It was a tremendous, uh, a tremendous point in my career and and like I said, never got back to another one. So I'm just I'm just grateful that I did have That one that one shot to complain an All Star game shot. It's great insight, Man. It's It's cool to be able to talk to you about the ulcer game experience because it's coming up and you're right. We're going to see Gausman whether he pitches in the game or not. We're going to see him out there and just really cool to be in his hometown in his home ballpark, the police he grew up watching baseball as an opportunity to to play in the home around to play in the All Star game. I was going to say, How cool is it going to be to see Otani in the home run Derby, and now they're saying he's going to both pitch and hit in the ballgame. That's like the Triple Crown of All Star Week, right? Yeah, I talk about something we'll never see again. I mean, unless a Tony continues to do this for the duration of his career, But yeah, let's just appreciate you know what we're witnessing right now and making history and a player that you know that comes along. You know, maybe never again. I just don't. I just It's hard for me to imagine there'd be another player of his calibre. That does what he does just I don't think it will be an American born player just because I don't think they'll get opportunity to do that. It will have to be a foreign born player. Probably played in it in Japanese league where they've proven they can do it. And then they say, I'm not coming over to the states unless I'm allowed to do that, so and that's kind of what Tony did. That's why he signed the American League and because of the D H. But now but to be able to go out there say that you want to do it and then go out there and produce like he has I mean, it's amazing. I'm really pumped that he's actually going to be in the home run Derby because I think yeah, I think he's going to win it to be honest with you. I I think, yeah, I think he went. I think he wins it and it's going to be. It's going to be fun to watch and course field just to see the the length of these home runs. Um, you know, I've watched Barry Bonds take batting practice quite a few times, of course field and it was a missionary, his to hit one You know, at the mile high line, which is the very upper deck and he did that in batting practice one day, and I thought I'd never see that. I don't think you'll ever see it again. We may see that happen. In this all Star game. I wouldn't be surprised at the balls are a little juice and maybe Otani that does it. Just based on how you know that his home runs and you've hit that he hit this year have been impressive. Just the exit velocities off the bat. The the way he's able to elevate the ball. I mean, I think we may be able to and we may see someone hit the ball into that upper deck mile high area. Of course, field turn off the human or Iraqis turned that off during the human or off. Let us see the balls fly for the for the home run Derby, drive those balls out balance and the next week Perfect, Sean. Thanks so much, man. I appreciate you making time. Enjoy. Enjoy the rest of your stay out in Michigan and area doing some some family travel and so should be fun man, and we'll catch up with you later. All right, Adam. Thanks, buddy. Thanks so much on YouTube man. Great stuff from Shawn Estes. Yeah, he was. He was pointing out that whole star game. He gave up the home run to the Sandy Alomar Jr and And he was the losing pitcher. And the game was Sean, but pretty incredible lineup in that 97 All Star game that Shawn Estes was in for the for the National League. Craig Biggio leads off Tony Gwynn. DHS bond starts and left Piazza's catching Jeff Bagwell's at first base. Larry Walker's and right. Ken Caminiti is at third base. Ray Lankford in center field. Jeff Blosser was the shortstop. Royce Clayton, by the way came in at short looks at the National League did not use all of their pictures. Either. They went Maddox Schilling, Kevin Brown, Pedro Martinez, Shawn Estes, and then Bobby Jones on the American League side. Check this out. Brady Anderson in his 50 bombs. Alex Rodriguez can grow feed Junior Tino Martinez, Edgar Martinez. Paul O'Neill just got a little refresh your Bernie Williams looked like he came into the game, Cal Ripken Jr. Yvonne Rodriguez and Robbie Alamar. So Sandy and Robbie both in that game, Robbie hits the game winning home run for the pitchers Randy Johnson Clemens, David Cohen, Justin Thompson, Pat Hankin, Jose Rosado, Randy Myers and Mariano Rivera. Some pretty cool lineups I was like right there. The heart of my my baseball fandom as a kid, so We can continue the baseball discussion. The win? Yes. Excuse me The loss yesterday. The Cardinals are back at it today. Johnny Cueto against Adam Wainwright. 6 45 1st pitch 5 45 pre game right here. We'll talk about that. "Pleasure to welcome Shawn Estes in on the Yuma Guest line. Adam Copeland, by the way, filling in for Papa and one today, Sean, What's going on, man? How are you? Good to talk to you again. What's up, Adam? They left. You're flying solo, huh? Well, you're here, so I'm hanging in. Dude, I was just like, Get me to one. Give me the noon and I get Sean asked us so we can talk. We can talk all stars. We can touch jerseys and we can talk to wave man. Did you? Did you catch all of that? Yesterday with the Giants? I didn't. I didn't see much of the game yesterday. I'm of Michigan right now. So it's stuffed with the time change for three hours ahead. It's tough to catch the game. But I did see that that they did. They did do the wave. What's been the, uh, what's been the feedback from that? I was I was out there yesterday. It was a good crowd. I have over 30 grand. I haven't seen the number. Exactly. But the bleachers were packed, which is kind of cool. And as you know, whenever the Cardinals come to town, that's one of the like the Cardinals and the Cubs. I think of the two teams outside of the division the travel Well, you get a lot of red in the stands, and so I can understand, you know, first time in two years, people are together in a crowd of 30,000. The wave gets going, I get it. But there's also been a lot of vitriol. Lot of Giants fans upset that this is not something that happens in San Francisco. Is that something that you guys noticed or talked about or knew about when you were a player? Oh, yeah, You notice it, But, yeah, I think you kind of make fun of it as a player, because it's almost like yeah, especially because you feel like the you know the fans that the knowledgeable, true fan, they just don't do the wave. It's like, you know, you just sit there you watch the game. You You understand the game. You don't need any any side. You know, entertainment going on the games, the entertainment react into the game being knowledgeable about the game. Experience. The game itself is what it's all about. You know the players on the field to be able to have to wait. Induce a wave to get people out of their seats and energized and into the moment. It just seems kind of quirky. Right? It doesn't seem it doesn't It seems more. He'd like something for a football game. I guess so. Yes, And I think you also see it at ballparks where You know, it's not necessarily a baseball city. You know there's a lot of those around the country, but you know, you see it more on those atmospheres than you do in true baseball cities like like I think that players feel San Francisco is I know, like the true Finns believe that they are so You didn't see the wave in Candlestick. Put it that way. We're talking to Shawn Estes on the human guest line. I think you're right about it being, you know, a baseball town thing, and I think that's why Giants fans look at Dodger Stadium and you go. Okay, The wave gets going down there. They're playing with beach balls are showing up late and leaving early, So they're looking for other forms of entertainment. I think that's the big Like point of disdain for Giants fans. I will say you're talking about you know the knowledgeable fans. There was a crazy for me sort of juxtaposition yesterday, where Kevin Gausman loses a no hitter, six and a third in the seventh inning Little blue Base hit by Nolan Arenado Go figure. The giant killer breaks up the no hitter, but he got kind of a standing ovation. Gausman asked for another ball, and the fans kind of rose and I was one of them gave him an applause. And I thought that was kind of cool. He looked around and sort of took it in For a moment. It was his longest. No hit bid, but I thought that was a moment. Where Oh, boy, the fans around our our knowledgeable. They understood what was happening here with the magnitude. That base hit wasn't an inning later. They're doing the wave shop. Yeah, right. Yeah. Go figure Jacqueline High crowd. What do you know? But no, it's I think it was a great gesture as far as just because what a guardsman obviously make an all star team and just what he's meant to the organization since he's been a giant I think it was. The giant stands opportunity to really appreciate what he's meant to the organization, Um, to be the ace of the staff, and and they really go out there and and just be as consistent as you can and really be dominant While while he's been able to put up this all fairy year, all Star first half of the season, so And then then and take and take a no hitter into the seventh inning. And, of course, like you mentioned, it's got to be an Aaron Auto to break it up. Um, it was either going to be him or Goldschmidt, right based on, you know the damage they've found against Giants pitching over the years, so it wasn't a surprise to see her not to do that. But what's the surprise to hear? That that's the furthest at Gausman taken a no hitter. I think I heard that he had previously only take one into the fifth inning, which he was shot to me just based on the fact that how many swing and miss as he does get on pitches on the strikeouts he gets. I mean, how dominant we've seen him be this year, uh, to go that long, or to only take a no hitter in the fifth inning. Kind of surprised me so To be able to go on the into the seventh inning is pretty impressive and then through the fans to acknowledge that given a standing ovation or really just show their appreciation for what he's done in a giant uniform at this point, so I hope that they move the rotation around so Gosman can pitch on Saturday, and maybe he does get a couple innings or an inning and the All Star Game. Because to come to go what he's gone through in his career and change uniforms as many times as he has and and really to not know where his career was heading, and now to be an all star in your hometown. I think it would be a disservice to not have him pitch in that game. Get on the mountain Horse field, So I hope the Giants do do that. If they don't well, obviously understand he's going to pitch on Sunday and that he won't be eligible to pitch in that game, which may open up another opportunity for another giant picture to make that team, maybe a DeSclafani or Tyler Rogers. So I think it's a win win. Now, if you look at it, Wow, great point. I hadn't thought about that and potentially, maybe go on Sunday and then and then not being eligible. But then we had Susan Slusser on earlier and she said, maybe DeSclafani ends up. With one of those like at large spots for a picture. I was actually just thinking about this, because, like when I was a kid, I always thought it was cool. You get to vote in. If you're a player like your Buster Posey, your your Brandon Crawford. You can follow the voting. You know what's going on? As far as pitchers go like when you maybe what did you make it 97 98 somewhere in there? 97. Yeah, So when you make it then, like you're just kind of waiting for the Is it the manager who picks you or it's a like your decided a different way right than just the regular fan vote. How did you find out? You were going to the All Star game. Yeah, it's a manager. I'm I'm assuming it was the manager. At that time. It was Bobby Cox, who had managed the Braves in the World Series of previous sure that he gets to be the manager of the respective leagues, and then they picked their pitching staff. Um he had also picked Dusty Baker to be one of the coaches on his staff..

"And 6845 and 68. Alright July one. Giants take a couple on the chin and Dodger Stadium go down to Arizona with a 1.5 game lead. Let's take stock. Let's figure it all out with our weekly chat. Shawn Estes on the Yuma guest line. Sean, You're not driving to Albuquerque right now, are you? Good morning. Thank thank goodness that trips over now that I'm playing. I'm really in Ohio right now. Here of all places. You're in the great state of Ohio. I am. Yep. Is it in Ohio, Another another travel tournament, or No, no, no, Unfortunately, don't have to go that far. Forget baseball. Um, no, it's it's a family trip. Okay? Yeah. We're Ohio for a week and then we go to Michigan for a couple weeks lost. Little summer. Yeah. This is some of the 1 15 a dry heat and step into the 85 of humidity. Yeah, and slap a few mosquitoes while you're at it. Right? Exactly. Yeah, Pick your poison. That's right now. No, it's been. It's been a good trip so far self Uh, you could enjoy good man. Good man. All right. Well, what do you think? You're the Giants? You go to Dodger Stadium. You played two tough games. Power and bueller gets you. You don't get any hits with orders in scoring position. You're still in first. But there's like, you know everything well. A little bit of worry your skepticism or no. Go to Arizona. You're the only team with 50 wins Keep on rolling confidence not damaged. What's the What do you think the mindset rolling in? I think it's the latter. I don't think the confidence is is damaged at all with this club. We've seen him up baseball. You know what? The Giants this year? We're three months into the season halfway through and I think that they realize they're pretty resilient Teammate and the last three game losing streak they had, obviously how the Dodgers as part of it, they got swept on cases back in meth. And they're a good team. You have to play your best baseball against the Dodgers. They lost the first one of the three games to the A's, and they've already won that series. You don't worry too much about that. Then you go into Dodger Stadium and you know, always to really close games against the really good team. The team that should be on top right now, but they're looking up at you so I don't think there's a lot of worry, and I think they do realize that you know it could have gone. You know that series. They could at least have gotten one out of them. Especially the first game. That series run over 13 3rd and scoring 11 11 guys on base, So I think it's not necessarily losing games attire losing them, and I think they feel like they had a lot of opportunities offensively in that first game, where they could have got the power and won that game, and then you know you're up against another tough picture and bueller. You got your ace on the mound. Osmond wasn't his best in Game two. Yet they still had an opportunity late in that game with 1st and 2nd. Nobody out in 19 against Jansen with, you know, three of your best hitters this year with runners in scoring position and clutch hitters, and they just weren't able to get it done. So, you know, you look at it like that is the fact that they were in all those games their competitive in all those games. And now you, fortunately and there are serious one for it. Just it feels like the stars do a line where you may go through a little rough paths offensively blue some ball games, But then you get A team like the Diamondbacks to reset. So it has seen that way this year with this club is that when they do look struggle a little bit offensively or things aren't going as well as a team they get to get they get. They get healthy against the team That's really struggling. So now they got the diamond backs to do that against for four games, So, Sean, I'm wonder sometimes when you get a situation like this with the Giants and coming off the losses like you said, they need to get back on the, uh On the right foot here and get in the win column. But I wonder in a weird way when you're so you know, kind of overmatched for an opponent. I mean, is there a weird form of pressure almost on you like they're expected, like Mark's been saying all week and I agree with them. We want them all like we want to win every game of the series. Is that even realistic or to somehow, like another form of pressure kind of creep in here? No, no, not at all. I think that you do You go out there every game and try to win and get capital would pay that We're taking it. You take it really one game at a time You try to win that game. Are you going to do that? Will you feel like you have the personnel to do it? You know you feel like every time every every day. You have a starter that can keep your team in the game. You feel like the you have an offense that can hit the ball out of the ballpark. You feel like you have an offense that can score runs. You have the defense to catch the ball. You have a bullpen. You feel really confident with. So yeah. You feel like every time you take the field You're going to win that game and you expect to beat teams like the Diamondbacks. Now now you're going up against the Dodgers. It's a different feeling. Not that you expect to win. But you feel like you have a pretty good chance to be competitive and win again. And we've seen them, you know, battle it out all year, and it's really going to come down to those two teams. In my opinion. Um, you know, the Potter's may have something to say about that, but you're going to have to find a way to beat the Dodgers beat the best, but you also and to have a really good season. How the best record in baseball..
