"Finish this sentence for me. Finish this sentence for me. Will Ferrell is funny? But honest and devilishly handsome? That'll do it. I sure is. Here. And Hathaway is very, very, very over the moon happy. Mariah Carey is a nice girl. Donald Trump is a good person. Chris Christie is a leader. Kanye West is black. That's the first thing that happened in my mind. Finish the sentence for me. Bill Gates is well, I think that's sort of an open oversimplification for anybody to say, you know, somebody is just one thing. Right now. Sharon Stone is really, really tired. I mean, I knew you were going to say that. But now that it's over, can I see your cars? We're celebrating the life and work of Barbara Walters. She interviewed everyone, but she did have her favorites. We asked her if someone had never seen or heard her work, and she could only play a few, which interviews would she choose. "So lovely. It's very nice. Okay, we got to get into this tea. Because, and just like that fans, you're going to want to know about this. Showrunner Michael Patrick king just revealed that some matha is returning for season two. Listen to what he told variety. I do know that my goal is to bring all the characters into the mix together so that they're not so much on separate runways. Have the friends all sort of coalesce together. Will carry and Samantha be texting again in the second season? Yes. Yay. Now Kim Cattrall has made it clear. She don't want nothing to do with this. So, how do you think this is going to pan out? I love a good drama. I love a good drama. I think that they'll recast. I think that there's a possibility that they can bring in someone to play Samantha. And honestly, if they haven't thought about it, my bid is Sharon Stone. Oh. Yes, the stone. I think Sharon Stone would be an incredible Samantha. And I think that audiences would accept her as an adequate. Yeah, because she's a legacy. She's a legacy. She's a legend. She's sexy. She's the right age. She has the sense of humor. She has the wit. She has the intelligence. I would love to see Sharon Stone play Samantha. Missing something. Yeah, it was missing the character, Samantha. But listen, I feel like I'm curious now that the words gone out there and there's been discussions about who said what and why they didn't want it. I'm wondering if enough time has passed and Kim Cattrall is working like crazy right now. If they were to come back and say, hey, I know you said no before the show's a hit. I know you're busy. Would you want to do two or three episodes? What would that take? Would it literally.

"It's a situation that we're living in a world now where breaches have become the third certainty in life. There is an enormous amount of information out there about each and every one of us. Some people will go on all sorts of different apps in order to finish the mosaic because every piece of information think of it as a little tile, you put the tiles together, now you have the person. And, you know, there is one additional aspect to all of this. You know, a lot of people I talk to them and I say, look, I realized the first inclination is, who would want to steal my identity? I mean, you really cares about me. Who would want to steal my credit? I'm just a regular person. A lot of folks don't realize you look in the mirror, you see you, but to a hacker, you're Jay-Z Beyoncé, Sharon Stone, Adam Levine, because you got what they.

"And I'd say that one flight gave me so much confidence that not worrying about the airplane was going to spin, but she'd forgive you. It's good lady. But Dan pedersen, I think, gave me my first ride that it gave me a lot of confidence in the airplane. And then we went through the full scope of training of instruments, tactics, low level find those kind of things. And then toward the end was air to air tactics, which I really enjoyed. I said, that sounds like an understatement. Something I was wondering about with the F four, that first flight, so you've got the CO in the back. At that time, I wasn't just I'd flown the F four, but when I got done with the rag, the F one 21, I was supposed to go to the USS enterprise, but they had that big fire. So our guys, they lost a bunch of aviators and airplanes and everything on that fire. And because they were mourning a lot of people, they took off for a month. And they said, Randy, we want you to fly these airplanes and keep them keep them fresh. Okay. So for the first time, I was at their flying airplanes. I didn't have an instructor in the back seat. I just had another back seater. And I got to take it out. And I took it to 15,000 feet and split at 250 knots at 500 knots. I took it up, I got up to over 60,000 feet, which scared me because the engine's overspend with the thin air. I didn't think about that. But I turned and saw how many gs I could sustain at different altitudes and different things. So I really got to feel the phantom talks to you that the stick, if you're getting in there and it starts vibrating, it tells you it's telling you what your speed is and the vibration of it. And if you get there and she really gets to vibrate, she said, Randy, I'm going to depart on you. If you do it, so I pulled it and I departed like, and it recovers. She forgives you. I have a favorite saying an airplane is like your wife. My wife sitting next to me here. Sharon Stone, who was the first woman ever hired by Nelson to train astronauts, which she did for 20 years. But I flew the, you know, I flew the different angles of attack, seeing what it would do, but it gave me tremendous skill. And then once I got in a squadron, our skipper early win believed in flying against a dissimilar airplanes, like F four not a four against F four like the air force was doing they were afraid of losing airplanes and when the prisoners were working back about every other one was POW shot down by Mick. Our kill ratio got to be 12 to one. The air force had a one to one kill ratio. Because of their training lack of training, they later established their fighter weapons school. And they've got a lot of good things that we didn't have. And their schools. So there are a bunch of air force pukes, but that's okay. That's okay..

That's true. I mean, he stays with us sometimes, most of the time he ain't there. Christy, I'm working late in the studio. Yeah, sure. Okay. Rather than go over the hill to be with you. I'm gonna save my bachelor pad and boys town. Put two and two together. Once you please, this bitch continues to shield for food and fashion lines and last month she posted 25 pictures. And I don't even know how many Instagram stories. All these people are canceled in the past must be wondering, what the fuck houses girl doing? How is she doing this? It's unbelievable. She's got 35 million followers on Instagram. And yet, after all the shit she's done and said, threatening people asking people wishing people dead, blah, blah, blah. Sharon Stone, Andy Cohen, the Kardashians, Paris Hilton. They all love this woman. All The Real Housewives and any of you like The Real Housewives, you need to ask them, why the fuck are they still acting like Chrissy Teigen's okay in their book? She's still getting a lot of love, but apparently this angers hard to tractors. And they think that the new controversy, Chrissy Teigen's been deleting the negative comments from her Instagram because all people are seeing is positive comments. Those of those of you look, they're like this can't be true. No one's saying anything negative about this bitch. Of course

"And and a bunch of them and some men to some men to have come through with me. Men that i've worked with before and some new men are calling me and i can just say that It's it's turned turned itself around. It's really turned itself around in a really beautiful way and it's also kind of made the title of your book truly resonate the beauty of living twice. Think you've probably lived more than twice. Don't you think you're you've lived more lifetimes than even that. Are you know. I'm a buddhist. That's are paying. So of course. But what i think now is that i live a little bit. More with an overview of lives lived an intention of living Which is that. I feel like no matter. What i do might living is more purposeful. I see that in you. If i may say that i mean you have many lives within a life and your work with discussing lives with people is so profound and the way that you work and the depth with which you work and the goodness with which you've always worked is so profound and i imagine you feel like you live many lives because you live so many lives within this life. You're living and your lives that you're living right now are so good. And they're so focused and they're so it's so purposeful what you're doing right now. But that's softly nice. Thank you. I am not must that you've lived many lives well. Many chapters right like every chapter is different in and not all wonderful as we know but important and meaningful and useful right. I think at the end. I mean one time i. I was working with his holiness. The dalai lama and we were at We did universities. We were. I was his like opening act at universities and that was what i talked about. Was that we write the book of our life and we carry it with us and certainly not. Every chapter is an easy read or a winner. Sometimes we just feel like those chapters are so devastating. But that's what makes a good book. That's what makes a book a good read. And that's what makes our life a good read because we can turn the page when those pages or those chapters are so difficult. But we're still gonna carry that with us so it's right on you know let's keep writing on and let's see how our book turns out and if we're proud of the book that we wrote as life goes on and as As you said we've known each other a really long time. And i've watched you write your book and i've seen some of the healthcare chapters and you've written them so beautifully Katie anew used some of the really harder chapters to make the world a better place. Make your world of more profound place than a more loving place. And somehow you've managed to bring more love into your life. And i wanna learn from your book had to do that to my life so that my next book has more loving too because you're such an example You're such a brave example. You know your your book has so much courage in it and you know for someone who everybody thought was just perky you know you have so much guts and so much decency in such a drive to keep moving your life forward positively and yet to continue to investigate so many difficult things it's it's just astounding to me and i think that's what we need to do. We need to investigate and shoes to live positively and that's the hardest thing to do. That's what i want to try to do now. That i've looked at the hard parts. I want to figure out how to do what you do. Investigate positively find the love. Find the the good you know. But i think you do that. That charon i do and i think You know your book. Your book does that as well. And i think it's just so exciting that you know both of us were not letting society define who we are or what. We are what we can do. And i i see more and more women refusing to accept that. You know when i see women like reese witherspoon saying i want to control my material or carrie washington and people like that and and you when you know saying we have a voice in this and we're not just kind of these people waiting you know we. We are not waiting for other people to bestow upon us opportunities we're going to create our own and And and that's why. I'm so excited to see what's next for you and so excited that you've found this way to channel all this incredible Depth and creativity and and and that you are writing your own book. I think it's awesome and thank you for doing this. Because i love talking to you and i'm so glad that we've we've connected again. The good part of social media. Honestly i get so many things for everyone. She'll be like this is so cool. Keep sending me. Dm's and And i'm just so happy. Congratulations on the success of your book. And and as i said on on telling your own story very much appreciate it a big. Thank you to sharon. Stone my instagram. I can't believe you did this because you're so shy our your coping. Because you're so lyrically shy. I can't believe that you actually did this and for my mom. I don't think that she's allowing herself. The warmth and the love that she could have. She did a little at first when we first started discussing all this while it was writing the book she actually went to my kid's school for grandparents day for the first time and when the kids ask her about her childhood sheiks told her childhood that she grew up in someone else's house at she was the housekeeper that she didn't have her own family. And the kit you know. The everybody stood up shared her and said she was such a hero and she had never experienced herself in that way and she was so proud and so they open and that she could experience herself as a survivor. Not as a secret victim was enormous for her and it changed her a lot. But i don't know that she understands fully that she can do that that she doesn't have to be a secret and that she doesn't have to stay in the shadow like a mushroom. You know. she's still so scared. And so i understand her but she still running in her fear and my family is still a lot in their fear and in the kind of behavior that fear creates and And a lot of that. Fear is very antisocial and we'll take a short break but when we come back a newly exposed sharon stone finally heal scene..

Or wherever you get your podcasts hi everyone. I'm katie couric. And this is next question. Sharon stone is known for portraying. A certain type brash. Hunting villain like kathryn trauma in basic instinct. Did you kill mr buzz. Mr mel i'd have to be pretty stupid to write a book about killing and then kill somebody the way i described in my book. Laurie equate and total recall. Sorry quiet your whole life is just a dream or more recently. Lenore osgood in the netflix series ratchet. I can't rest until i know he's dead in reality though. Believe it or not. Sharon stone is pretty shy and introverted. And despite her fame has led a very private life but now she's in the midst of a very public and personal reexamination of that life in her memoir the beauty of living twice when it came down to it. I just thought i could write twenty different memoirs but what what do i really need to figure out here and what i felt. I needed to figure out i in my twenty memoir possibility was who am i. If i'm gonna write about my life. The first thing i need to know is who am i and i felt like there was a certain point in my life when i felt very kicked. Kicked off kicked down beaten down broken and i needed to know. How did i get there. So that i don't do that some more. And what is it that that led me to that part of my journey. I wanna understand you know. What is it that breaks me. What is it that that leads me in this direction and it all is never the thing that really breaks you in the end. That's the straw. That's not that's not the load. And so i just wanted to go back and see what started to build that for me made that who i was. And what made me vulnerable to break there and so i went back and looked at my journey. It's remarkable actually how heavy alot charon carried at times in her life from being molested as a child to the sexual harassment. She endured in hollywood to the stroke that nearly killed her back in two thousand one. I actually interviewed her about that experience. While i was at nbc. We spoke at her home in san francisco when it hit me. I felt like i'd been shot in the head. That's the only way you can really describe it. It hit me so hard at knocked me over on the sofa. In today's conversation nearly twenty years later sharon i dive right in and talk about the process of capturing her life on the page for sharon. The writing of this book actually happened and the quietude of the night the kids are in bed and everybody's stevie is often all those electric waves aren't so strong and the tv. The phone's not ringing. And all that stuff is quiet. And i sit down and i just kind of wait for it to start happening and you know. Sometimes it's great. And sometimes i feel like my god sir inside out and i just do what i can do and sometimes i write two pages and sometimes i write for hours you know and sometimes most of it's good and sometimes some of it's not so great and i get like a couple of paragraphs out of it but i feel like it's that's my way i mean some people get up and they ride from like seven to three every day and i admire that. But you know that's not what happens to me. I don't have that thing. I don't have. That's not how it works for me. I have days where it's like. I needed to paint today. Like you really have to get out of my hair. Like i have to pay today you know and i wonder our paintbrush and my tastes. So you obviously have this just this huge well of creativity that that you have been mining in recent years you know with your painting with your writing short stories with your writing of this memoir and you know there's they're all very different pursued but when it came to the memoir you would you would probably expect or readers might express expect that the the person behind the memoir reached some level of self actualization or self awareness. And and. i'm i'm curious. What did you learn about yourself when you're done with this did you. Did you see your own persona and your own. You know human being with with more clarity. Oh yeah i mean. I think really. The biggest day of change was the day. I read the book for the audible book. Yeah yeah reading sitting here. Interestingly enough the director turned out to look like adopt ganger of my best friend and that was kind of first of all kind of stunning when she appeared on the zoo and i said wait a second. You have to see this picture of my best friend. You're not going to believe it. And then i put the picture of my best friend in front of me. And i read the book to my best friend and i sat here alone in my room reading this book out loud to my friend and pulled it all together to me in in a new way like the completion of it and the reading it out loud in this very quiet space. It put it into perspective for me in a new way and it really did change my life and it really made me see everybody around me with.

Sharon Stone Discusses Her Autobiography in Candid Interview

"It's nearly 30 years since Sharon Stone played Catherine Tramell in the film Basic Instinct. It was a role she craved, but only managed to get after 12. Other actresses turned it down. It became a huge box of his hit on that infamous uncross ng and crossing of the legs scene remains one of the most controversial and talked about moments in film history. The movies that followed include an Oscar nomination for her role in Scorsese's casino alongside Robert DeNiro. More recently, the Laundromat with Meryl Streep on on the small screen. There was last year standout performance in the Netflix series, Ratchet. At the height of her career in 2001, having had several miscarriages on day after adopting her first child, Sharon Stone, suffered a stroke and almost died. She's now written her autobiography, the Beauty of Living twice in it. She talks about the fact that some people saw her as a very strong, difficult woman and how upsetting that's peanut times as she told the BBC's Emma Barnet. We think what it really is, is that I don't have the capacity to lie, and I think that people find that quite off putting And when I tell the truth that can seem quite offensive or the favorite Hollywood word difficulty. I do feel that in business. We're often put in positions that we didn't ever see ourselves being put in. And they're often crisis moments where we have to reconsider. I'm in this position. Now. What am I going to do with regards to the me to movement? Now are a couple of years on from that deep do you actually think Because the other thing you talk about being the only woman on set, you know men were doing your hair. Men were doing your makeup. Do you think it has got any better? Yes, because legally, they're just things that cannot be explained away anymore. You just can't say why can't she have a female dresser?

"Sharon stone's new memoir is out today and i'm not a crazy sharon stone fan. But she tells an interesting story about getting some tumors removed from her breasts in two thousand one and the she says the plastic surgeon gave her big implants and said that they would look better for her body. Says took off the bandages and found out like she'd gotten these big brushes asked for and she didn't ask i get. I'm assuming that during the reconstruction when had to fix the damage had been done from the tumor removal. That they're going to be some implants going in just to correct but he gave her bigger than what she had asked for or that they had talked about and said they're gonna fit your body better and better with your hips. So that's just one story. She tells us this memoir which i thought was pretty

"Fried in the court of public opinion just like Jerry sandusky did. Two different crimes, but same kind of public opinion. Because by the time they're done, they'll have maybe ten 11 women willing to tell similar stories with no actual proof. Brett Kavanaugh comes to mind. So many men come to mind. Women telling their stories, but no actual proof just stories. And by the way, I don't like when women in a Desean Watson situation. Don't have to identify themselves up until now. I don't like that shit. And look, I'm not saying the guy's innocent. I'm not gonna lay my life on the line. I don't know, but I do know this smells too much like other cases we've seen. And I think Desean Watson deserves due process. And like we've built this nation on the presumption of innocence. We've all forgotten that. So this case has everything. Black privilege, racism allegations, and sexual allegations. In other words, a typical Friday in America on fame is a bitch. And it's happening everywhere. Everywhere, chats, he wanted to fuck me. He tried to fuck me. I fought him off. It never stopped. I'm an angel. I never have sex with any man. I'm gonna flirt. He needs to go to jail. He needs to never do this to another woman. His career needs to be destroyed. You know, I'm just so fucking tired of it. I know how good how it's going to go and you see it happening all the dominoes are starting to fall. And if you don't get mad about what happens to other people, what happens to you, how are you going to feel? You got to open your mouth. Once it wants the sexual improprieties come up, the man is guilty in the court of public opinion. And as for Desean Watson, a guy who's had a pristine reputation, he's going to have a problem now and maybe getting out of Houston in play playing anywhere else. And I know the guy set for life. Don't get me wrong, but that shouldn't matter. Shouldn't matter how much money you have. You know, the law is the law. Because now everybody's doing it. It's invoked. Sharon Stone brought up a 20 year old me too story today. I think most of us kind of knew about this or at least I did. I shouldn't say most of us. I knew about it..

'Sex and the City' is coming back -- but it's missing one key character

"John. Were you a sex and the city fan are not necessarily but I think I'm going to go back. I watched episodes here and there, but I wasn't like it considered. I I'm not like so ingrained in the culture of sex and the city that I breathe it right, But I am excited that it is coming back. Great news for fans of the show. It's coming to HBO, Max. Sarah Jessica Parker. She put out a tweet that was it was like B roll of New York City, obviously produced by the show, and then it was, you know, her typewriter typing and it said, And just like that, which is famous from her. You know, from her column, she wrote. And so that's gonna be the name of the show. And just like that, so, okay, So this isn't like all the episodes are coming back. This is no. This is a new new content with Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte. Oh, what? I'm in their fifties. Oh, yes. So, um, you know, won't Well, that's that's fun. I really like this idea. 10 episodes half hour long. It's scheduled to begin production in New York late spring. So I think we're going to see it in the fall. I am so excited. Me too. I think I'm going to go back and binge. The six separate six seasons because you know why not? What else? The old episodes an hour long. I think so. Eh? So I like that. These are a little bit shorter. Yes, I couldn't help but wonder where are they now? Yeah, that's what everybody wants to. That's exciting. Well, and Cynthia Nixon. Didn't she run for office in New York? I believe sounds right? Yeah. Um And so Cynthia Nixon's going to be back. Kristin Davis, Sarah Jessica Parker, but no to Kim can could trail right. She won't ever be back. Nobody likes her. Hey, Donna, you know we talked about this morning like, you know Sharon Stone. Somebody asked her if she would be interested in she said Yes. Just like in the interview. I was ever that it sure, And I think she'd be perfect. He's a little older, though she is, but I don't think you can tell that's true. And And then there's the possibility. You know Samantha had breast cancer. In the show at one point character, and, uh, I think that you know if you wanted to I think, do a service to you know women with breast cancer. It would make the story bigger than just you know, and have her pass away from breast cancer. It would make it bigger than Him control as a person because I think that her personality is sort of taken over and all the negativity with it. You could actually do show a real life. You know, women. We deal with losing friends and sisters and mothers to breast cancer, right? And so that would be a real life thing that I think they could, You know, wrap up the story line, but also do something good. Bye. Yeah. The majority of this show I was. I was deaf, too, until The final two seasons. Maybe The girls who lived upstairs from us in college in the apartment above us knew that we had HBO so on Sunday nights they would invade and it was like, okay, we're watching. And so we're like, Well, if we're gonna watch it, just fill us in what's happening here? Well, it's great. I I think I watched it like I watched two seasons and then I forgot to watch another season and I was just kind of pop in and out. Yes, you could kind of do that. I didn't watch that last season, though, and I don't know what happened with neither neither. So maybe I'll just go back and you know to get ready for this season. Wow. Kristin Davis will be nice to see her. Yes, Queen? Yes, it was Mr Big gonna be in this. I don't know. That is a good question. What? He ended up being on the good wife. Oh, yeah. I'm the good one. Yeah, one of my favorite shows ever I didn't finish the last season. The only season I didn't see E No. I'm usually a good finisher. I don't know. Stop it, Dodd! Sorry. Clean it out. Take a walk. Almost. You got 15 years.

'Murder Mystery' tops Netflix's most-popular titles of 2019

"End of year round up is here to reveal what shows and movies its users. How watched the most in two thousand nineteen this very first? One was a total shock to me the most successful release on the streaming service across both TV and film home is the Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston lead film murder mystery. This was a shocker because I disagree out of all. The amazing films documentaries TV series. That were released this year for net flicks. I did not expect to see murder mystery as the number one spot and I mean. Apparently this comedy was watched by over thirty million accounts in the first three days of its release according to the Hollywood reporter and it was net flicks biggest opening weekend ever and also want a twenty nineteen people's choice award so That again the whole it's all shocking. I is it could tie literally like don't have any words for this because I almost disagree I they watch the film or at least I tried to watch murder mystery. And I don't even think I got through the whole film because I got bored. And that says a lot because I love Jennifer for Aniston and Adam Sandler them to are probably my one of my most favorite actors and their dynamic to gather is impeccable. My Love them together and movies however I wasn't a fan of murder mystery. I duNNo. I wasn't a fan of the story. Maybe we have to go back and rewatch it could have been. I wasn't in the right atmosphere to watch a movie so I don't know but I definitely was not expecting murder. Mystery to take the cake for the number one spot as Successful release for Netflix

What Happened on Horton Road?

"Well come to true crime brewery. I'm Jill and on Dick Kellyanne. Tennis was just two days shy of her fourteenth birthday when she disappeared in her own neighborhood in nineteen eighty nine in the days. That followed children's stopped playing hang outside terrified. Neighbors began a harassment campaign of the Gallup family. A family whose two sons had become suspects. The Gallup poll appeared like any other well-maintained suburban home on the outside but what police found inside was shocking. This story shows us how we don't know our neighbors as well as we think we do. And how secrets inside of a family can fester and proliferate infecting others. Join us at the quiet and today for what happened on Horton road a troubling and Morbid case of two families one suburban neighborhood and one unforgettable unforgettable crime so I picked a beer actually from UTICA to New York Beer. This is from that brewing company in UTICA IT SARANAC black forest black beer it's German shephard spear charts means black in German so a black beer dark brown nice thick coffee colored ahead a nice aroma roasted ransom light. hops taste just like you think would from the nose Selena thin and gotta be honest a little nondescript the script so it's not that great a beer but it's okay nicely drinkable okay. Does the trick does does the trick and never tried it. So why. Don't we opened up and give it a try Yasushi. Thank all right Dick. Follow me down to the quiet with head on down. Why don't you go ahead and start our story okay? Yeah this doesn't seem to be too much going on around her. I think it's post Thanksgiving. Let Down Sheriff. Though on we go thirteen year old Kelly. Antennas lived on Long Island in the town of Valley Stream. She lived with appearance Victoria and Richard and her younger brother Richie in a middle class suburban neighborhood on Horton road. There is just nineteen houses houses and Horton road. Some were Cape Cod style. Homes some larger homes of red brick wall with neatly manicured lawns. Horton road is a neighborhood of families with children building for the most part mixture professionals small business owners blue-collar workers there are certainly wasn't allowed to do in valley stream. There was an ice rink and a pizza parlor. Kelly was a good skater and the ice rink was one of her favorite places to hang out before March. Third Nineteen Eighty Nine Horton road. Residence shared a sense of community. They had a block party on Labor Day. The fourth of July in Halloween each year. It was a good way to let the kids. Kids have fun while keeping an eye on them. At the same time everyone knew one another at least peripherally and parents felt safe letting the kids walk to and from each other's houses to play but March third nineteen eighty nine marked the end of tranquility and peace. On Horton road. Life would never be the same for the people who lived there for as long as they lived. They would remember the day when Kelly. Antennas didn't come home and the lives of two families would be destroyed. Kelly did go to school that day. Her father picked her up after school and dropped her at her home as he did most days and on the ride home. Kelly asked asked for permission to go to the ice rink with friends butter. Dad Said No. She needed to babysit her eight-year-old brother Richie until her mom got home from work now the tennis house was full and you could even say as a little bit on the crowded side had belonged to Kelly's grandparents now they were elderly and they continued. I live in the House with the family now. In this particular day the grandfather was in the hospital dying after a long battle with cancer. So this couple had purchased the the house in the late sixties. Mira certainly well known to all the neighbors he a lot of the neighbors there had been there a long time for generations. Kelly's at least Richard was a big guy in his late thirties. He ran a business repairing cars victorious auto repairs named after his wife made a decent living for him and Victoria worked to of course she worked at a local physician's office. Heli helped a lot at home with her grandmother. Her little brother entered dog ugh brutus. She rarely had friends to the house but she did have a lot of friends and she saw them in their homes and also at the ice rink. According to Kelly's friends she rarely complained about her crowded house or the extra responsibilities that she had there she really loved her family and just saw it as her responsibility to pin chin. A Nice Kid. Yes very nice kid. From all accounts Kelly had four really close girlfriends and these girls had nicknames nicknames for each other Kelly's nickname was sky because if her big blue eyes she's tall five foot. Eight and her hair was Brown with Auburn highlights and she was known for her wide smile. And here pretty much always happy disposition. Now maybe it's because of her family responsibilities but Kelly was more organized Organiz than most girls her age. She had a calendar in her room and she could be counted on to be where she was supposed to be. At any given time she hadn't yet had any boyfriends. She didn't drink and didn't do drugs. Kelly had a girlfriend the same ages. Her on Horton road share in stone. L. Sharing live just five doors down down so Kelly walked over there quite often to visit. The gulab family was one of the quieter families. On Horton road. They were a bit older than most and not super a friendly. The Father John was in his fifties very serious and hard worker. He operated a gas station in a neighboring town and he also did car repairs this his wife Elizabeth Gulab in her late forties and on the heavier side was more friendly than her husband. Elizabeth had friends in the neighborhood and she attended ended. The Roman Catholic church where her three children had had their confirmations. She worked full time at a local transportation company in the office. But what Elizabeth really enjoyed with shopping at garage sales and flea markets. That was her passion. She would call herself a collector if you'd asked her but everyone would soon find out that she was a hoarder before order became a noun. Yeah wasn't really a well known thing then true now the go ahead three the kids. When was Adele the oldest? She is a graduate of college. Twenty one year old Robert and fourteen year old John Jay Robert and John J I still lifted home Adele lived in Manhattan and worked for an accountant for an accounting firm. Kelly's very best friend was Roberta Gross. They had known each other since they were preschoolers they attended. Would Mir middle school went to the movies ice skated and they were just beginning to talk about boys. Neither of them had dated yet Kellyanne. Roberta routinely talked on the phone after school. Roberta had an after school job where she was able to use the phone. So March third was a Friday and Kelly's birthday was that Sunday the plan was for Kelly's closest girlfriends. Four of them to take Kelly out to to dinner Friday night. Invite over first sleepover at Roberta's and surprise her with a slumber party. Kelly's mother had already agreed to this with Roberta. OUGHTA after her father dropped her at home. Kelly called her friend Jennifer but there was no answer then. She called her dad at work and asked to go to the ice skating rink again. He again told her no. It was still another hour until her mom would be home and then she could go. Kelly called another friend after that and complained about having to babysit her brother. She said she was thinking of just leaving for the ice rink anyway. The phone rang at the tennis house. Shortly after that. And Richie answered. The caller said that his name was John and he asked to speak to Kelly so Kelly took the call spoke for less than a minute then twenty minutes. It's later at three ten PM. Kelly told her little brother Richie that she was going to her friend. Nicole's house just down the street and she'd be right back. Richie wasn't I used to being left alone at all. So after just five minutes of Kelly being gone he decided to go find her at three fifteen. He walked down the block to Nicole's house but Nicole said that Kelly hadn't been there six year old hairy Finney who Kelly had baby sat for in the past was out playing in front of Sharon Sharon stone. Els House which was between Nicole's house and the goal of House here. He told Richie that he had seen Kelly and she'd gone into John. Jay's house the goal of house both of the young boys went over to the goal ABS. Front door rang the doorbell several times but nobody answered there so Ritchie. I went back home and he was back home at three forty five by himself. No big sister at this point. It's kind of like. She just vanished. The she wasn't where she told her brother she is going to be right and nobody seen her except for one little kid has said she went into the goal of house. Yes but they couldn't couldn't get anyone answered the door now. It was really strange. It's very strange. So Richie got back home. And he called his mom and his dad to tell NICB. Kelly left him alone victorious she would be home within the hour. Ritchie mentioned the Gallup's House to his dad. Dad Tom go find your sister so he told Richie to beat on the door and call for Kelly until someone opened the door. Kelly barely knew the Globes. She had no reason to be in their house and she needed to get home. I'm I'm sure the parents are kind of pissed off at her now. She's not watching a little brother. She bailed on him yeah. Initially they're angry right. They think. Why would she do that? There's no reason right. But before he went over which he took it upon himself to call the goal of how several times he found the number in the phone book. Remember those phone books. Yeah you're yeah. Those were cool but there is no answer so he walked back to the House and he pounded on the goal of store yelling for Kelly and he did this for several roll minutes but now he heard loud rock music blasting inside the house not to give up so easily though Ritchie went to the sidewalk and started yelling Out For Kelly yelling her name and then he got a little bit clever he started yelling. That brutus is loose her dog because he thought well if she knows her dogs loose. She'll she'll come out right away. She loves that dog but still nobody came to the door. There was no response at all. Just a house with the door shut and loud music playing so Ritchie went back to the house and Roberta. Her friend called again for Kelly. She called two more times in the next hour. So and Roberta's getting more and more concerned about where Kelly could be. How Victoria got home? A little after five and Richard was a few minutes after her and they were upset. Like you said because this wasn't something to Kellyanne ever done leaving brother alone like this now added us. She was very reliable so the parents called her friends. But no one has seen Kelly really. So I they're at they're angry but then a very quickly became word. Victoria walked down the block knocking on doors of their neighbors and friends know Anouar Newark. Kelly gone finally Sharon stone. All told Victoria that she had seen Kelly. and to the Gallup's house after three PM this supporter. What Richard told his mother and a father but a strange the goal of did have a fourteen year old son? John Jay the Kellyanne John. Jay were in France. I mean they don't hang out together didn't do anything together. moodiest proximate in age. Yeah so I think most parents would remember a time when their child disappeared. Like that. And you just panic. You don't know what to do and unfortunately in this case it turned out to be your worst nightmare. The worst thing you could imagine there were five calls else from the tennis house to the Gallup's house between four fifty three PM and five thirty pm that day just before six. PM Richard Tennis. It's called the house again and finally he was able to speak with Elizabeth Gulab. Elizabeth said that Kelly had not been at the House and it actually took a moment to remember member who Kelly was because these two families weren't that friendly Richard S to speak to John. Jay who was the fourteen year old son of the goal ups and Elizabeth did hand over the phone to John. Jay Gallup John J told Kelly Stat that he hadn't seen Kelly for several days in fact but Richard thought he sounded nervous. He seemed really anxious to get off the phone too so he didn't know if that was just because he was nervous talking to an adult or if he new something he was hiding. It seems that I know it hasn't been a longtime Achilles been gone right but she never did anything like this. I'm thinking and people are starting to get a little fearful about what's going on here. Yeah but I don't think John Jay was getting fearful no. He was kind of a teenager with an attitude. We'll get to more of that. I think John Jay you saying I haven't seen her but we have two people who said that Kelly went into his house right.
