"We're going to put a blanket on top of you and you have to be incremental to going down the field. If saquon looked like saquon did a month ago, I'd feel a lot worse about this game. Like one arm's sake one? Yeah, I'm not enjoying this as much with the injury. They've had in the interior, no Shane lemieux. It's not what they were offensively in terms of the running game. So I'm so worried about Daniel Jones. I'm worried about the size of this team. Saquon still a big back, Daniel Jones was a big quarterback. They got big receivers, eagles tend to be a little bit of a smaller team, but they handled Derek Henry and the Titans. Wonderfully. And the same thing is true. They gave up the scrambles for an Tannehill, but still they home to ten. Not Burke's out of the game. I mean, that was a very big play for the eagles 15 or 25 point when excuse me. Over the times was losing trailer. He's been awesome this season, but we'll see. The Giants lack of weapons continues to feel like something to exploit, but it has for the whole season. And they're 7 and 5. You're way better than whatever the fucking number is, yeah. You're way better than giants. And yet I'm not putting the eagles in a tease because I do worry. One of these weeks they're gonna suck in a game when their favored and I'm gonna stay away. Let's match up number two for you. Match remember two. Vikings lions, which is just such an extremely fun game for so many reasons, not least among which is betting reasons. Sam hoppin and fed experts treated out this week that since 1999, we've only seen four games where a team with ten plus wins is not favored against a team with 5 or fewer wins. And of those four games, all of them came in week 17, two of which had the backup quarterback playing for the ten win team. So this is not something we see very often. Where Vegas is really positive that a non winning team is better than this winning team. The Vikings, there was a great graphic going around on Twitter today where if you flipped the results of every one score game this year, the Vikings would be one in 11 overall because they can't stop winning these ones for games. Well, the reason the lines are favorite is because the Vikings pass defense is simply not trustworthy. Vikings defense past gave you away is 25th against wide receiver ones they're 29th. We saw Garrett Wilson have a huge game against this defense just recently. We had Stephan days went a 128 for 12. We talked about Parker went four for 80. They struggle against the top receivers. Amon Ross saint Brown, the top receiver for the lines, one of the most integral players in the league, totally underappreciated how much this guy matters. In games in which a Monroe state Brown is healthy, the lines average .2 EPA per drop back. That'd be the second best number season long.

"Think I blocked it out of my bed on the eagles in a tease. Didn't that happen or am I crazy? I might have been. I'm trying to remember as well. There's a couple of games that they lost. 129 yards passing. But yeah, it was like, he just kind of sucked. Yeah. And then sucked again in Tampa. Your team. Playing off what everything you just said, I was really impressed with how they did something different in that Tennessee game. And we're like, hey, can you guys stop this? It was watching sirianni on the sidelines, especially and there's like a real swagger with him now. Have you, I don't know, you've been watching this the whole time. If you notice, what's the deal with him with the eagles with the city? Because when they hired him, it was like this, oh, they're just hiring. It's been robot. Terrible first press conference. And it's like, oh, they're just putting their guy in. He's gonna suck. And it's like, he's the opposite of sucks. I think he's been one of the 5 best coaches this year. And he really seems like he has command of the team. I always love this stuff on the sidelines. I love to see how guys are reacting to each other. It just seems like he's in command. Am I imagine that? No, I agree. I call sir Johnny the pander king because he just loves to express how from Philly he is, even though he's not from Philly at all, right? Hassan Reddick who the eagles brought in free agency went to the university of temple as a Philly guy. For the first few weeks of the season, he didn't have a sack yet, and he was in the locker room getting asked about it. So on and so forth, and then the next game, he shows out as a critical sack. And in the locker room, sirianni runs by when the reporters are talking to him and goes like, there it is. I told you a son Reddick sacked. I knew it. Temple. And he was like, yells temple. He just screams out the school name just like emphasize the sun red against from here, right? He just has that to him, right? Then they beat the colds. He's telling eagles fans his four Frank Reich, AJ Brown, scores against the Titans. He grabs and goes, how great is it to be in Philadelphia? Like he very much like he's got his very committed his idea of like you commit to the city, you commit to the place you commit to the brotherhood. He's absolutely a culture coach in that way. That resonates in Philly. Philly likes to hear about Philly. Philly likes being an insular insert committee. That works. Boston's like this too. Suck up to Boston and it's great. It's always a good idea. Yeah, so I grew up in the northeast and then I moved to the Midwest. And whenever people ask me about the differences growing up, now I live in Michigan, which is all college towns. The thing that I say is the northeast, all of the cities are so close to one another geographically, that you end up being from a place. Like I was closer to geographically growing up to New York than I was to Philly, but I was in Pennsylvania. I was a Philly fan, and I hated New York, and I hated Boston. They were all there. I knew people from all these places they were close. Yeah. Nobody's close enough in the Midwest. None of the cities are geographically close enough. So it becomes a college thing. So when you're a coach of a northeast team, it gets, you know, like he was wearing Philly's gear during the Phillies run. You know what I'm saying? Like, he'll wear 6 or stuff later this year. He is the pander king and I feel he likes being pandered to a little bit and that when you're winning, the vibes are great because it feels like he's doing it out for the setting. I was mildly impressed by the Giants last week. I thought they did not blow the game for themselves. And hung around and even like when Washington and OT, they get first down on the 43. They basically need 12 yards for a field goal to win it. And the Giants really stepped up. It was this moment of the game where it's like, wow, you're season could go either way right here and I thought, I thought rose to the occasion, which we've seen them do a few times. It still feels duct taped and smoke and mirrors to me on offense. It is. But the dimes thing, man, when you're betting against him, he's really scary. And he's doing those draws around the side and he just kind of knows when to cut in at the perfect time every time and it's like you want to punch a wall after a while. God damn it. Why can't we stop this guy? He's good. Yeah. The Washington defense came into that matchup really bad against quarterback run. And it's a further testament to Brian Dave and my Kafka. The offensive coordinator there, who they walked out and they called more quarterback run than they had last two weeks. They're very, very good at saying, what do you not like? We're gonna do a little bit of that today. That is awesome until you get to a team like Philadelphia, Philadelphia, right, what they want you to do. What are we weak at? It's like, all right, you're going to have to run the ball the whole game, you're going to have to convert on third and shorts the way they lost to Washington, right? We're going to put a blanket on top of you and you have to be incremental to going down the field. If saquon looked like saquon did a month ago, I'd feel a lot worse about this game. "So i don't think it's too crazy to say here that both these teams coming into this game are equipped to be very very good defensively. And there's a strong possibility this ends up being a low scoring slugfest type game just based on some of the stuff that we've talked about here and if we're evaluating this this broncos defense it has to start with talking about their edge rushers as well as their defensive line and the obvious ones that will be talked about throughout the entirety of this game is von miller in bradley chubb. Both highly drafted players both highly talented players and have been when healthy very very disruptive when they're both on the field and so the giants gets face these guys week one when they're both available and ready to play. It is going to be a tough task for. What's supposed to be nate. Solder and andrew thomas for blocking both of these guys yet chubb is actually dealing with a i think a slight ankle tweak right now need in practice on wednesday that could just be the broncos managing his rep. So it's there's something to pay attention to men. How dangerous is a chris. Von miller and bradley job against matt pair needs solar and andrew. Thomas i mean. That's something that i'm i'm pretty concerned but not to mention the return of mike purcell. Who's one of their better nose. Tackles who can really anchor down the front defense. That is run a lot by vic fangio so this defense against his offense of lines due to the front against offensive line is something that ab i. I have some some some concerns about shirt. I think we have to start with those two edge rushers the last time those two guys were healthy together. Twenty nineteen they. Had i think twenty six and a half sacks between them up chubb has been getting better he had both at seven and a half sacks just all on his own last year without a whole lot of help from elsewhere in the defense von miller was missed the season with a dislocated tendon which ouch and they had completely different secondary that something will get to a little bit and not a whole hell of a lot of help from the offense so if those guys are healthy end clicking end we did get to see them in preseason von miller. He looked like he might have been a little bit rusty but a that dude has been so good for so long. I don't think you can plan on him being any less than his best but then they also have a shelby harassed sean williams dream on jones in their front seven yet. They've got a lot of guys who are really good at penetrating in creating disruption in the backfield and yet that has to be something the giants account for like. They're just not as about it scary too. I mean it's it's definitely that you think about this denver broncos front you think about bradley chubby think about bonn miller then you think about the struggles that you saw in a note was priests anything about the struggles that we saw from andrew thomas in the preseason it's that's definitely probably the main concern. I would say faida circle one liability at the giants have right now. Is the offensive line just in general. I mean you. Add billy price ben. Bredesen's possibly help the interior. They could realistically see snaps. Two and a half weeks removed from joining this swat. Just because we saw chamomile partially porn teller pendant. I mean how much is this guy going to be able to play on that. And i'm wondering how much just I i think the giants gonna come out and attempt to establish the broad. They're gonna attempt to push around this. This front and not allow von miller bradley chubb to pin the rears back rush on guys like you know a andrew thomas but in the situations where they are where third long and they're not able to get the run going giants are going to have to probably keep tight ending are running back into chip to help block to slow down those pass rushers Her might see a game plan. Similar to what we saw jason garrett run against the washington football team twice last year where it was a run heavy approach and not a lot of deep drops. Really just a lot of quick game. Just give the football out of your hands. To mitigate the effect of chase young montas sweat and he did a pretty good job doing it. So let's hope that. If jason garrett replicates we could slow von miller in bradley down i think just to to try to predict what vic fangio it's going to do and that is you know that might be a little bit of a fool's aaron because he is definitely one of the best defensive minds in the nfl. Yeah i think he's going to almost try to invite the run. Yeah he uses a lot of like almost five one type alignment in his new defensive fronts. Walking will linebacker. Down to the line of scrimmage but he even though they didn't they still kind of gave up a lot of yards on the ground last year when their defense is healthy. They've got the guys up front. Where even though it looks like. You're getting a light box. You really aren't. They're good at building that wall. Along the line of scrimmage. And you talk about shane. Lemieux with the partially torn patellar tendon. How much is paying going to affect him yet. You can be a tough guy but if your body doesn't wanna work right it's tough to will it. So this really is. I think the matchup debt could define the whole game and another thing to add in here too as well with this. This broncos defense another aspect that is just so strong is their secondary and we spent the offseason talking about how the giants rebuilt their receiver group. They made all these moves to signed kennedy golladay to bring in various tony. You've also got john ross. They signed in free agency. This is a completely new look group from what we saw last year. And we have high expectations but the broncos conversely they did the same thing with their secondary they made some moves to to rebuild that group and they have a pretty talented underrated secondary that they're going to be trotting out there on the field drafted patrick's retain top ten. They also they have. Is it key positions with kyle fuller and Ronald darby as well as justin simmons cadence turns we know is a very good athlete. Not necessarily the the best safety who plays on when he put brings it all to the field but a good athlete general so this is a very very strong secondary that the giants receivers are going to be facing off against. Yes the secondary with. Patrick 'certain on. I'm wondering how they're going to utilize 'certain just because i've heard rumblings that they're probably going to use 'certain in a role similar to To cover guys. Like travis kelsey end darren waller. The giants aren't gonna have ingram Allocate 'certain in that manner. Even if evan ingram was one hundred percent healthy so we may be looking at some 'certain covering kenny golladay. Who's coming off an injury looking pretty good from all the stuff that we're seeing in practice but other than 'certain is going to be as i you know action you have kyle fuller. You have ronald darby like you said. I mean kareem jackson. Justin jefferson or justin simmons. That is a really really solid back. End safety in the bryce callahan. Who a lot of people were talking about last year as an excellent slot. Type of cornerback. Who can probably cover sterling shepherding. That could be another match up to watch just from the top down. This defense is is very solid. The giants offense has question marks. And that's probably why we we want to discuss the concern that we have. Especially if they can't block von miller and bradley job. So i'm interested to see how jason garrett is going to use players like cadavers. Tony and how is he going to operate. Just the receivers in general but the snap counts. I'm wondering how much could area's. Tony is going to play how much they on barclays gonna play..

"That's that's kind of my gut based on and then see how he responds for Friday, right? Some conversations that were had today But tomorrow is gonna be the pivotal day for Bradley Chip. I think no offense going to play But you know Bradley Child is that's the one that's the gigantic question mark, and then I'll field stuff occurring at that's just one extra headache on top of it. Also, how does this impact the game? I mean, Because we know Von Miller is good. He's full participant. Good to go. The the offensive tackles for the Giants, Andrew Thomas and Nate Solder, actually playing right tackle. So we know what Malik read is we know Malik read is a serviceable Spot starter. He's a good player is a guy you need on your team. In the event of either rotation or an injury. But it's certainly not the Von Miller Bradley Chubb Show that we've all been anxiously anticipating this entire off season. Is it right hands? Von Miller will be up against solder and Matt Peart on the right side there. Um, if I don't know, Perch plan or not, but He was the the starter last year. Solder doesn't really have a lot. He's not the same player he used to be. And that's a mismatch in bonds favor on the other side, Andrew Thomas, That's where you need somebody who like a Bradley Chubb. I don't think Malik readers got enough power to be the guy to beat Andrew Thomas consistently. Andrew Thomas is not impressed Me. He didn't impress me coming out of the draft, and certainly last year in his first year, I thought he struggled, but You'd also save the entire offensive line struck their offensive line is bad. And they got Shane Lemieux. There is a serviceable left guard. Um, I would call him die Adult Horizon. Er will Hernandez Hernandez is okay at the right guard. Their centers is Nick Gates, and he's not very good in his backup is Billy Price, who was terrible. And in Cincinnati. Oh, that's right. They did get Billy Price right. And so you know, you've got an offensive line. That's just not that good. Overall, It's a bottom six or seven offensive line in the league, which is great news for the Broncos, who, maybe even without Bradley Chubb have basically the full complement of defensive line back. Expectations of Draymond to be up expectations with Mike Purcell, along with Shelby Harris back at the defensive line. Plus again, you know, McAlpin a game had I mean, depending on if he's a healthy scratch or not, but he had a really nice off season training camp. So I mean, I think there's some reasons to be excited about the matchups here. It just feels like a bit of a letdown, not having Bradley Chubb out there and again. I'm not saying that he's not. I'm just saying that he's not going to 100%. I think we know that for certain and there may be limitations on how much they'll actually use them in game. Based on the fact that we're still at this point now in game week on Wednesday, and he still can't get a full practice. Yeah, I'm wondering if we're gonna get to see a little bit of coop. I wonder if we're gonna get a little see. Let me go to Jonathan Cooper. Yeah. Um you know, I I He he put on a show in training camp, and I wonder if we're gonna get to see a little bit out of him. Platooning because I don't know Malik is more the other side. You know, Malik is better, Uh, when? When going up against the right tackle. That was where he made most of his living last year. And so I kind of think that they want to keep him over there. And so I I wanted to ask that question. I didn't really get a chance to today because with the practice, but I didn't go to the pressers which were before right up after like, they usually are. So I my my plan is to kind of slip that question in tomorrow. Certainly, and you're you're right. Tomorrow is going to be a pivotal day for for a lot of reasons, But specifically, those two players know a fan being out in the field and I need an argument. It was it was that you were off. But I made an argument that Alberto Cola Bernam might end up being the Broncos best. Tight end by the end of this season is a better blocker. He is he can be a complete receiver. The drops are something that we're gonna have to monitor. But no fan had drops to. We saw that even in training camp, so I made kind of the point of like, Hey, listen, If we're really having a conversation about this, I don't think it's outlandish. By the end of the year. We're saying that Alberto Cuevas I was actually the Broncos best tight end. It's possible. It's possible. Um, it's possible. I wouldn't say it probable, but it's possible. No if no fans really worked on quite a bit to get himself worried, super talented, he's just limited right now, and it's certainly an on field weapon like, Don't go. No Internet advantage, tight end sets to see Oh, get out there, and that's a question. I want to get into a little bit later on, because Jackson right, a guy Ted win, actually put in an article talking about the teams. I have the best. Uh, they went he went through. Hold on. Let me pull this up right now. He went through the best personnel groupings. And and how each team across the NFL Broncos showed up on this, By the way the best personnel groupings in the NFL. The Broncos showed up on this list. And I want to ask you a little bit later on specifically about that, Like what's the Broncos Best personnel grouping? I don't think it's an automatic 11 personnel even with Courtland Sutton, Jerry Judy, KJ Hamler and Tim Patrick. I don't know. If 11 is best suited for what this team wants to do, So I want to have that conversation with you a little later on, and I'll tell you where the Broncos showed up on this. Okay? Okay. So we'll get to that Ted Ted Wind crushes it over the athletic. This is a really good article, but We'll get into that a little bit later on like, so we're gonna hear from Teddy Bridgewater Broncos are tired of losing man. It's palpable. It comes up every single press conference. They're sick of being asked about it. They're sick of talking about these things to think about. I loved Melvin Gordon's answer today. About it. We We don't have enough time right now. But he talked about being tired of losing and tired of watching Patrick Mahomes lift up Championship trophies. We great answer. Yeah, it is. I got some stuff I want to get into in the next segment. Actually, we got George, okay. Real quick and I have had some conversations with some players over the last two days, some off the record private on background, you know, kind of stuff..
