"Question that's been asked to ask you as a broadcaster who has been to pretty much every major events in the world. And you've anchorage a loss of mainstream on terrestrial television in america but also you've covered pretty much every cheltenham festival in your career. What was it like would know crowd. Well we had had a year. I suppose of getting used to that crowd and even some pretty big events but it was right up there as very strange indeed because i think the restrictions of tightened here in the last couple of months before or they get loosened again restrictions tighter for children than perhaps they'd ever seen it at any major fixture at certain types it than they were at the breeders cup ties than it looked in in the middle east and an in australia so it was really odd him because cheltenham more than any other event is so contingent on on the crowds and provide atmosphere. It really was a an odd not experienced but by midway through the first after noon. I'd almost forgotten at one point. The crowd that i mean if you will if you're broke cussing racing. "He said last night he was just like I. Do not want to be in the middle of fucking election and both sides are saying Shit for me that I really didn't say. Blah, which is true. But look he's front and center on all this the irony of having FAO CI, on sixty minutes last night. was hearing those people where the first cases were coming back from that cruise over in Europe and they let them all go and the enhance field airport in Atlanta. Yeah. Didn't know what the fuck they were doing or any of that Shit's. That was the most fascinating to me. That's why regardless of who the president was during this pandemic, the Chinese virus China. No I don't think anybody could have done anything about this. No one you. I think you we've done the best. You possibly could at this point to be honest with you. But no one could have done that Republican or Democrat. Nothing you after watching that sixty minutes story where there was just like they just let one hundred, eighty, five people off the plane who all had corona virus and everybody was going to connecting flights holy shifts best and the world's biggest airport in Hartsfield and you're super but it also made me of like, Oh, well, no wonder. So many people Georgia was a hot spot and all that other stuff like new. Yeah. Of course, it was just all those people off the plane and then they went on about their day. A few of them were hospitalized and all that shit. All I kept thinking was that would've been your worst nightmare of all time. I would not be alive. You would not be alive. Would both be by my hand? So if you're not familiar with this story, it started the passengers on a cruise. It was a twenty eight crews that went to Italy something like that. Yeah. Cruises are fun. I love cruises right. So a lot of people. Sort a lot of people who retired to share. and this this particular cruise had a lot of retirees on it. It look like. Let's face it the normal gamp like ourselves here we can't just take three weeks off to go to a cruise gonNA curse can't do that work well, and that's why there's a lot of retirees on this fucking thing they were trapped on that God damn fuck boat for. A month more and then when they finally docked. You know. Yeah. Did you laugh at the Word Doc and? Yeah, thank you. Thank you. Appreciate two males touch tips But when they finally talked, then they were like a, we've got a quarantine and you gotta stain your room and that's when you saw those pictures of people waving out the window of the ships of like, Hey, here we're here you and your seasickness would've jumped off of. The balcony of one of those things how many how many days in which say probably Too Yeah. That's what I gave you eight hours. Yeah. You would have jumped off the thing and I will say this, we had a friend. Street bike Tommy who has jumped off a cruise before and he lived I saw the pictures of afterwards. It was not i. saw the video of him jumping. No you die. No he made it. Lift Street by Tommy jumped off a cruise ship and he's banned from I think it's carnival. Go to his instagram and there's photos of and and the video of it. He did it while it was fucking moving bro. Die No you do not die. So it was only about depending upon where you are on the cruise at that point, you're looking at ten eleven stories like something like that, right? Now. was every square inch of his body black and blue like Yes it was and he got super fucked up from it and he learned lesson valuable lesson but he jumped off a cruise ship. So it's possible to survive because it was moving. Is that why you got all fucked up? I don't know. But if you would've asked me forty eight hours in jump with you easily and I think we would like it would take that bruising just to get the fuck off their right right that was the first thought I had second thoughts I had was this that flight back? From Europe to America. They had to wait on the tarmac in Hartsfield Airport for three and a half four hours because the CDC was unprepared. They did not know how many people had corona virus and all the Shit's and a nurse had to call nine one one from the plane. Now you she's a passenger it wasn't like there was just a nurse on board they didn't give her a nurse you happen to be one. She's taking care of all these people and she's like A. She called nine one one from the plane of Hartsfield and just said, Hi, I'm on this flights we have no help got nine passengers down at this point. I'm overwhelmed everybody sick and everybody has corona virus and they played her tape on sixty minutes last night, right? All I kept thinking was. After being stuck on a tugboat like that in the middle of the ocean for a month and all that other shits. then. A flight overseas which you're probably looking at another nineteen twenty hours, and then you make me sit on a runway at Hartsfield for four hours not one prayer twenty minutes in I would have gone over that exit row. And just went down the slide and said, Hey, man, I'm stuck on a plane with one hundred, eighty, five coughing people they had footage from the plane and they're all. Yeah and they're wearing masks on. Everybody's sweating. It was it looked like hell on earth. To be honest it looked like absolute hell on earth I would've pulled the emergency. Door off in record time and then slid down there like You know I'm in fucking candy land to get off that plane. and. Then just say, Hey, look I think it's a five hundred dollar fine. I would have held up my credit card at the bottom of the runway and just said Hey. You WanNa, get hadn't swiped this now or later like. I'm happy to pay it now but I wanna get the fuck off this plane. If I'm. GOING FROM LA to Miami and I've got to wait on the tarmac for three hours. Swipe that card brother I'm pulling up on that door. No reason for that. You can always deplane always always fucking deplane I'm not sitting on that thing let alone and that. I mean it was just old people coughing on. Now. Diarrhea. Dude imagine imagine what a tube sitting in that. And then just everybody getting up to use the restroom and it's just spray diarrhea of and you're just hearing that over and over that flushing noise for 'cause it. Let's let's put it like twenty hours for the flight four hours on the tarmac twenty four hours straight of just hearing that allowed flush from the toilet and just people sweating limping out of the bathroom. Oh, not one prayer did not one prayer. I would've I would've probably ended it on that plane, but just know that would've jumped with you. Thank you by the way. But the juxtaposition of having that story with FAO CI on they're all fucking cool guy in his turtleneck of. We did what we could. We knew we were doing people are putting words in our mouth. No, they're not. Just watched the story before we're one, hundred, eighty, five people were on a plane just let them all go right because you didn't know what the fucking virus was but now you do and your Mr Fucking cool guy turtleneck fuck you bro Yeah Fuck you. You didn't know the rest of us. The only person looking back on it. Now, who shut down the airlines overseas was trump. And how is this going to prevent him from being that way he was apparently coaching from carts for the last day of last week? And he'll be there again starting tomorrow, when they start you know, they're all TA final week of OTA's and you'll have to do it for the mini campus. We're doing one day at a time nineteen seventies version versus one day at a time two thousand ten version. Yeah. And so I guess we'll start with the seventies. And we couldn't get the pilot of this one. But hey, and I didn't wanna pay after seeing the second episode. I am glad I did not pay. I am to the ad. So the second episode of season one is on YouTube. If anybody wants to watch it, I wouldn't recommend it. But it did run for a long time. It was seventy five to eighty four. What what struck me every minded me of all the bad parts of all in the family. Like it took all like the serious and trying to be political parts without any of the like the humor. Yeah. It was not funny. So we and all right. There's a couple of things, and it was kind of like, I mean, of course, this is of its time. But it was kind of a Sajjan mystic in a weird way for such feminist show. Yeah. That's exactly what I was going to bring up. Ship. What was I going to get any? Oh, well, we'll talk about the plot. So we'll before we get into the plot. Just I wanna talk about the the it was created by a husband and wife team. I don't remember their names. But what I didn't know was that the it was based on the women's of life like for a few years when she was raising her kids and one of her daughters was married. Meredith Bernie from family ties. That was created by Whitney Blake and Allen Manning's or so wouldn't you Blake's Whitney Blake's daughter? Meredith was basically one of his daughters was she? Yeah. I wonder if she was. Never mind. I'm not gonna bring up MacKenzie. Phillips problems. She had a rough life. Anyway, she did. No. I looked it up. I thought I did think she was she still alive. Bonnie Franklin who played the mom is. I know. She did. Yeah. And fellow rarely Brunelli still alive. Who might be the only thing about the show. I liked this. Because I remember ever having a crusher when I was a kid, and she was kind of funny. Yeah. I had a crush on her as a kid to it's. So the the basic premise of the show is that. The mother got divorced. She had two teenage daughters and moved to Indianapolis. And so she's raising our kids a single mom. You know, not the high-concept, I guess, and then I think I mean, I think that seems no big deal to us the time now, but I think at the time that was kind of a big deal. Yes. Seventy five because I don't remember when Alice came out, which was based on the Scorsese movie Alice doesn't live here anymore. I never saw the skirts as movie, but we should do an episode about that show because I imagine it was it doesn't hold up, but it's probably better than this. Yeah. I would think so at least it's got flow and Mel. And Schneider is no male. Wasn't. He wasn't the worst part of this episode. But yeah, he's no mail. No. But yeah, this episode concerns now, what is her character's name? Why do I all I can think is Bonnie?.

Comb the Future shot john. Yes they're having this bond where they both know their purpose in place in the world and but none of this actually says scheming anywhere. No it doesn't now. That is the new adequate proof for of that by What we do have proof for is that she did share power with emperor john So why is a the myth about her so prevalent. I'ma i think part of that has to come from how. The relationship between her in charge of han crumbles at the end. I think that is part of the myth building that happens around. Her is is after shahjahan takes over and he's angry the he's trying to erase some of the things that she's done from the record so i think to get into that. The first thing to talk about is how this relationship between them changed. Yes So because as you said they started out doing their courtly duties and and being very happy with each other they give each other extravagant gifts. Which of course in the court is a sign of a good relationship When he returns from a battle she greets him i instead of his birth mother yes or possibly instead of his birth mother entirely the there's no record of he loved mother anywhere exactly and they're spending time together and they have a very strong relationship and where this is sort of starts to come apart. I think is with nurture hans. Motherly instinct to protect her daughter and give her a. I think what she hopes will be a very very fruitful relationship. And just to remind this is hardly the daughter..

"I'm assuming that would make a lot of noise in the middle of the night if somebody goes in ring and is reaching straight years of jehangir. Hopefully he's not intoxicated and drunk beyond words at this point but he probably is. If somebody does ring the bell in the middle of willie's gonna come right. His own right right western. Yes eastern away. I can get this bell so that i can wake up in the morning. If if i were to ever get my hands on that bill i would give it a four year old son and i wouldn't make sure you rings it near your that's the po-point point and you wake up in the morning. Anyway we can talk up. You know without digression okay. Okay with no other digression. The chain of justice is something is an example again. His sort of Focused on law and order and and effectively. We can summarize that he was an effective administrator from these various things that he's been doing his empire right he was also very harsh with punishment. people are being impaled.
