A highlight from Adam Back Predicts $100k Bitcoin by Halving | EP 797

"Welcome to Simply Bitcoin Live! We're your number one source for the peaceful Bitcoin revolution with code breaking news called Traumatic Warfare. We will be your guide through the separation of money and state and make no mistake, that's exactly what we are living through these days. Anyways, very interesting, over the weekend, Adam Back, who was cited in the original Bitcoin whitepaper, made a bet with our boy, Vkingo, stay solvent everybody if you know you know, and the bet was that Bitcoin, Adam Back bet Vkingo that Bitcoin was going to hit $100 ,000 by March 31st, 2024. But there's a reason that he originally quote tweeted an article and it explained what his reasoning was behind making that bet. So I think that's really interesting. We're going to break all of that down today. Also on the Tetherfront, their lawsuit in New York, the lawsuit originally claimed that Tether was not backed one to one by the dollar and whatnot. That was dismissed. The judge kind of just threw it out. So find that interesting. That Tether FUD was a huge deal. I think it was like 2017, 2018. There was this massive account called Bitfinex. And it's interesting because when all these blow ups started to happen, it was USDC that was affected more than Tether. Right. And USDC was the one that was supposedly regulated because it was by Coinbase. And you know, it was it was supposed to be the safer bet. So it's just funny how that plays out. And then if anyone who's not in the know, Tether plays a massive role in the entire ecosystem. It's used to trade on a lot of these altcoin exchanges overseas. And so Tether plays this like weird type of role in Bitcoin. So it's just interesting how that played out. And of course, obviously, Tether is not a fan of the US government. The US government is not a fan of stablecoins. Obviously, they want to be the stablecoin. That's why they launched, I think lot a of people are going to learn over time that you will only find financial sovereignty in Bitcoin. Anything that is centralized, meaning everything other than Bitcoin, I think will inevitably inevitably be co -opted by government. So I know that's very popular. Stablecoins are very popular overseas in countries that are going through high inflation. But I think it's just a matter of time before they kind of wake up to the reality of Bitcoin and stuff. So anyways, before we start the show, I want to bring up my legendary co -host, always optimistic. Dude, what do you think of the new intro? Shout out to Daf, by the way. I kind of messed it up with leaving the thumbnail up, but tomorrow I'll nail it. But I like it. I like it. You guys requested a change up. So we heard you. Dude, it feels official, Nico. It feels like we are back. We've always been back. But now we're officially back and we're professionals here on the stream. We got an intro, bro. If that didn't get you vibed up, I don't know what did. But man, let's go. It's Monday. We're back for the grind. We're back to give you guys content, keep you guys up to date on the peaceful Bitcoin revolution. I'm hyped, Nico. And I think I only drank two cups of coffee this morning. So maybe it's just yelling in everyone's ears on Twitter Spaces that gets me hyped in the morning. But I'm excited for this one. Anyways, we do have a guest today on our culture. Bring him in, Nico. Or should I? We got Shah from noaa .com talking about Bitcoin, Bitcoin payments, all that good stuff that they're working on. So this is going to be a good episode. How are you doing, Shah? Good. How are you guys? Glad to be on the show. Wonderful, bro. Wonderful. Yeah, man. Super excited to have you on the show. And with Bitcoin payments, I feel like that's not enough of a that's so that's so vague. Yeah, I mean, so we started like noaa around two years ago. We saw that, you know, the there is a need for I mean, of course, there's a lot of Bitcoin wallets out there. But what we are really solving here is the intersection of the on and off ramps. We believe that, yes, it's good to have Bitcoin. But to make Bitcoin really usable, you have to enable users to cash out very quickly. You know, right now, we're live with like, you know, the cards on RAM, so you can globally at very competitive rate buy Bitcoin, Apple Pay, Google Pay, MasterCard, Visa card, but also pay out into your Visa card and MasterCard globally. So let's say, you know, you're about to go on your holidays, of course, you should never sell your Bitcoin. But who knows, like most people are probably living in a Bitcoin first world, where they hold most of their assets in Bitcoin, but it's kind of a friction to kind of cash it out in short term. So within a day, you put it put it on your Visa, MasterCard, and it's popped up, and then you just go out and spend it. So that's right now. Soon, in two or three weeks, we will have global off ramp, USD, GBP, Euro, Nigerian currency, anything you want. So we've been working hard, quite, you know, behind the scenes. But I think by payment, I really mean how on and off ramp so seamless, that it's, you know, almost like no friction. That's really cool. Wait, wait, before we go, though, is Noah a reference to Noah's Ark? Correct. Yeah. So the initial idea was, when you want to build a really big consumer brand, like look at the big companies like Coca Cola, Zara, you know, I don't know, Mango, you know, you have to have a name that is globally recognizable. And I think, you know, we just brainstorming. And normally, when you start a company, you have like five top names. But with this one, it was just like, it has to be Noah, right? Because it is a name that's basically transcends every religion. So in Christianity, in Islam, as well as Judaism, it is the same story. It's the only story that combines them all showing that, you know, these religions are all basically all the same, we're all the same, there's no borders, really, only the borders that we put between us. And, and also, it has to do with helping people. So you know, like the flood is coming, and we're building the Ark to save everyone from the flood. And there's so many other meanings. But most importantly, and I always say, unlike the other Ark, this Ark has space for everyone, not just a pair of animals. So I think there were so many, many aspects that I have to name Noah, you know, there are, we also went to, to get the domains, because I think it's very important to make it very simple. So people understand. Very, very cool, man. Well, that's awesome. And yeah, that domain is huge. Noah .com. I think that's a big statement. But yeah, man, I'm super, super excited. Love having Bitcoin entrepreneurs here, you know, pushing or mass adoption worldwide. But anyways, guys, no more delay. Let's jump straight into into the show today. We got a lot to talk about. We got a lot to cover. Let's check it out.

"What do you like? What's your music choice? Well, I like a lot of empowering songs. And right now, I mean, I'm loving Sia's Unstoppable. I think that's a great song. I love the song Be Happy by Pharrell Williams. There was actually a study done that in households that played that song every morning and then households that didn't, the members of that family were happier. And I really believe that music has such a way of elevating people. And it can also bring some memories, evoke some things that you might not want, sadness and things. They say country music, which actually I believe I do like country music, too. And there's some great, great country songs. I love This Is Me by Kayla Settle from Greatest Showman. There's a lot of great tunes out there. And it really, you know, it depends on the person listening and the mood that they're in. But I'm a huge believer in music and music elevating your energy. And I love classical when I'm working or studying. And there's a lot of great music. And I strongly urge all of your listeners to find what works for them and just do it, you know, go for it. Great advice. I was at Garth Brooks, a big concert in Dublin, and I wouldn't have been a huge country music fan, but it was a fantastic concert. I got a free ticket from a neighbor, very kind neighbor. But at one point he sang one of his songs. One of God's greatest gifts is unanswered prayers. And you could hear the audience singing in perfect pitch, knew all the words, and it was really sweet. So it's obviously something that touched people. So it comes back to what you're saying earlier on about living in the moment, you know, going with the flow, the whole thing, you know, you never know what's around the corner, what's for you and just trusting, you know, believing, believing in yourself, believing in your worth, believing in the fact that everything is working out for you. You have to have that belief because you deserve to have what you want in life. But if you don't believe that you're going to get it, then you won't. You have to believe and then just watch the magic and miracles unfold. What a wonderful, happy way to finish and very positive way to finish the podcast. Sabrina, thank you. Sabrina Shaheen Cronin, thank you so much for being our guest on the Women in Leadership

"You have a desire in your heart that is there for a reason, and you can do it if you believe you can. That's number one. And number two is everybody deserves happiness, but you must be willing to work at it. If you're in a situation that is uncomfortable or is not bringing about the results you want, or for instance at work, or the feelings you want with your spouse, or your friend, or it is, then do the hard work necessary. Figure out how to reach that other person to communicate effectively to again reach them in a way that they can hear you. Don't let fear prevent you from communicating effectively. Right? I think the third one would be to always level up. Try to be your best version of yourself at all times. It's important in our lifetime to realize that if you're not growing, you are dying. And I firmly believe with every aspect of your life, whether it's mentally, physically, spiritually, financially, you know, professionally, if you are not learning how to grow and achieve something more, then you're settling and you are not becoming the best version of yourself at all times. And that takes work. That takes a discipline. But if you want to achieve joy and happiness, that's really the only way to do so. So Angela, the fourth pearl of wisdom I would have is to persevere. Don't quit. Never give up. Never tell, never let someone tell you you can't do something or you shouldn't do something. Don't allow those negative people to influence your decision in any regard. And I think the fifth pearl of wisdom is to be grateful. Show gratitude. Because when you're grateful for what you have, even if you want more, you are appreciating the beauty in your life at the moment. Everything that you've worked so hard for to get to right now, you're not undermining your value. You're grateful for everything that you have that's in your surrounding, that your family, your health, your well -being.

"Your thoughts when you need to be clear and concise and, you know, be a little bit more reasonable and walk away from all of that anger and the angst. And if you're low, usually it's because of either circumstantial or lack of sleep or you do have a chemical imbalance. You know, some people who are depressed need some assistance there with either a psychiatrist with medication and then psychology. I believe firmly in the double approach with medicine and also the therapy that you need to get the tools you need to necessarily to change your life. But I agree. I agree with your friend who's the therapist who said those things because to do so would be doing yourself a disservice and also the marriage itself a disservice. Does family upset or relationship upset, does it hamper women's career objectives, do you think? Yeah. When someone is going through a relationship breakdown or a messy divorce or even just upset, does it, you know, sometimes we bring our problems to work and it can get in the way of your career. You know, you had this image of yourself rising up through the corporate ladder, you know, becoming that great actress, but you get sidelined because, you know, relationship issues kick in. It happens to everybody. Does it get in the way of people's, have you seen it? Have you witnessed people's careers take the sidestep and is there a way of bringing it back around, I suppose? Yeah, Angela, that's a great point and I have seen that with both men and women. With women, you know, we are a little more emotional by nature and it's not a bad thing at all. In fact, I think it makes us strong businesswomen because we can sense the other person's point of view, where they're coming from, their emotions. We can multitask. We have a lot of other strengths that I think are often discounted and sometimes the old man's network, you know, I use that with air quotes, you know, because it still does exist.

"And instead of blowing up at the other person for something, maybe that other person didn't even realize he offended you. Maybe he had a stressful day and was too preoccupied in his own mind to, I don't know, get the kids to you on time. So just have a little compassion, have a little grace. If we showed one another more compassion and more grace in our current society, I firmly 100 % agree that we wouldn't have such polarizing views in the realm of politics these days. And, you know, I believe people are so quick to judge without that compassion, they don't put themselves in the other person's shoes. They don't care to know it's a caring, it's a compassion, and it's, I think, a commitment to a deeper level of understanding of someone else's struggles. Yeah, I totally agree with you that everything is getting so polarized, even at a global level now that, you know, there is never any black and white whipping. That's most stuff is in the gray area. What you were saying there about breath. Did you bring some of your acting skills to call on that one? Because it seems like something that actors really tap into their breath when they're trying to tap into emotions and to get into character as well. You know, Angela, no one's ever asked me that question before, but as a student of acting for all the years that I did, there are a lot of different methods, as you know, as most people are aware. And the one thing that I think acting really taught me and all the lessons and all the training, and also my upbringing, because I, you know, I learned to hone in on what people are saying, being a good actress or actor is someone who can react, who can hear what the other person is really saying, who can feel the emotion of the other person, be sensitive to it, be leaning in and tuned in to that, and then reacting accordingly. So many people are so worried about what their next line is or what they want to say next that they don't take the time to listen to what that other person is saying. And therein lies, once again, the disconnect between people, between, you know, communities, between civilizations. It's just, it's that skill that we are so devoid of right now that really needs to be honed in on and for many people. You know, when women are going through tough times, and I have a good friend who does a lot of counseling, and she said to me, never make a decision in lust, love, anger, or when you're low. And I thought, I wish I'd learned that one years ago. Lust, love, anger, or when you're low. Would you think that's good advice for people, especially when they're struggling in relationships or in work? Angela, it's a great piece of advice. And I've heard it other ways as well. You know, never make decisions in the heat of the moment. Never make decisions if you haven't slept or haven't eaten for a while. And again, back to what we said before, when you are in the heat of an argument and you decide, I can't take this anymore. I need to divorce this person. I really believe that you need to stop, take a breath, walk away. Same with reacting to an emotion, to an email or a text message. Don't, you know, go off on your, you know, the heat of the moment. It's very hard. Sometimes it's extremely difficult to practice that. It's a discipline. It is a discipline. It's a disciplining of your emotion, getting a hold of your thoughts in your mind. But there's a saying, you know, thinking in the shadow of feelings. You want your feelings in situations like this to take a second step back. Obviously, you need to count your feelings when there's something going on. Your feelings matter, but don't let your feelings take over.

"In the middle of a very high -conflict divorce with children, I will tell my clients, look, you know, you have to learn how to communicate effectively, not fly off the handle with such heated emotion, not react in the moment and not, you know, project all of your anger and frustration at the other person, especially when your children are watching. Children need those tools, they need to learn how to resolve conflict in a very mature way. And I think that's where a lot of issues arise with couples because they don't know how to resolve those conflicts in a healthy, mature way. They'll run or they'll leave or they'll scream or they'll drink or they'll take pills or they'll do anything they can to escape what's really going on in front of them. And in order to get a handle on their emotions in that regard, they really need to get a handle on who they are. And I teach my clients a lot of different skills and tools to cope with all sorts of stuff that, you know, life poses every single day. What kind of skills and tools would you talk about to clients or in the workshops? You give workshops to you, don't you? Yeah, I do a lot with breath. You know, breathing is a good way of stopping, you know, force yourself to stop. Sometimes I tell myself it's an old psychotherapy technique, you know, wear a rubber band around your wrist and anytime you see yourself doing something you don't want to be doing or reacting harshly, for instance, as an example, you know, snap your wrist with that rubber band to remind you to have that cognitive training to tell your brain, okay, no, I'm not going to react this way and take it, you know, literally stop what you're doing. Pause, take a deep breath and realize that nothing has meaning except the meaning you choose to give it. And if you choose to look at something a different way, it could have a completely different meaning.

"Are the biggest obstacles do you think that women in particular face when it comes to relationships and managing that financial or legal side of a relationship in a civilized way? What are the biggest obstacles do you think? Angela, one of the biggest obstacles that women face, I think, these days in deciding whether they want to marry someone is, I think, similar to men. There are so many choices. There are, at this day and age, there's so much coming at us. We're such a disposable society. We throw things away easily. We think the next shiny object coming down the road is going to be better. People don't want to invest in anything anymore, let alone someone else. And someone if has any kind of dissonance in their relationship, people are so quick to jump and run as opposed to digging in and being invested. And they don't realize that that's where the true love and bond is created. The deeper that foundation and a level of trust and commitment and stick -to -it -iveness with one another, that's where the beauty in relationships are. People have best friends from childhood. It's the same feeling. You know you can count on them. You know they're there through thick and thin, but they've been invested their whole life. So I'm not saying to stay in an abusive relationship. That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying before you look at the other person as the trouble or the source of all your trouble, you need to look at yourself and decide whether you can improve yourself before you point the finger at someone else. Oftentimes people say that the other person isn't doing something or they're blaming the other person. Well, are you? What is it that you're doing to level up the relationship? What is it that you're doing to level up your life? And then you can have a better discussion about how the two of you can come together and be that bond, be that glue if the two parties are mutually invested. Do you find that you often kind of give counseling as well as legal advice? It sounds to me like that's what you do. Angela, I take my title of attorney and counselor very seriously, and especially in the realm of family law. Although I do have several high -level CEOs that call me that need my assistance, for a variety of employment issues. And it all boils down to that same, I guess, idea of living at your fullest potential. And oftentimes people want to escape or leave a situation because they're not happy or they're just agitated. Well, you're going to take yourself with you everywhere you go. So if you don't change within, your outside reality will still maintain to be the same if you don't take a look at yourself and do the hard, you know, lessons and do the hard work necessary to elevate your life. Yeah, I was at a talk, I'd say 20, 30 years ago, and something like that came up. I just went along for interest. There was a very well -known psychiatrist giving a talk and one lady in the audience put up her hand and said, you know, I'm having terrible fights with my husband and I don't think it's good for my children to witness this. Should I leave? And the psychotherapist woman said, well, it's, you know, if so long as there's no violence involved or anything like that, she said, it's actually very good for your children to see you working through problems. And that stuck with me for a long time, you know, because we're so careful about guarding our children and rightly so. But, you know, you're actually teaching them a skill as well if you can negotiate through that. Have you seen that in action? Yeah, and I do believe in that, Angela. I think that a healthy dialogue about issues that concern you should be had maturely and reasonably and respectfully. And that's, I think, when I coach my co -parenting clients and when

"Hello and welcome to another Women in Leadership podcast with me, Angie Mazzetti. In this episode, Sabrina Shaheen Cronin talks about learning to live with each other and navigating the choppy waters of relationships leading in your own life. Sabrina is a former actress and musician who now practices law. She's a family law specialist and an expert in managing shared parenting. One of her goals is to get acrimony's parents out of the courtroom and into her workshops. Successful co -parenting, she says, is about good, honest, open communication. The lessons of living together with grace and compassion are ones for society at large, as well as in relationships, she believes. So just have a little compassion, have a little grace. If we showed one another more compassion and more grace in our current society, I firmly 100 % agree that we wouldn't have such polarizing views in the realm of politics these days. Sabrina advises women and men to be mature and to take responsibility for knowing about their finances and for allowing for contingencies. It's the best advice she was given when it comes to money. Make sure you protect yourself and understand and have the knowledge of the money going in, the money going out. Sabrina is a really interesting guest who talks a lot of sense and among her five pearls of wisdom, she talks about the benefits of being grateful and expressing gratitude every day. "Terms of the taxonomy. Because it's so difficult to tell one person's idea of ESG is very different from another person's and we haven't really standardized it. I also wonder if you could break the three apart. You know, many people are concerned with the eve, but not as much about the S and the G as we just, as we just kind of stated in Europe, fighting for the E, but they don't really seem to care that much about the S and the G, even though they have the mandates in place on the actual retail and consumer level, they're just not as concerned about it. So I think with the definition of ESG say a right, ESG is subjective like I can think genetically modified crops are a solution forward angle. You can think they're sort of the evil thing out there. So that makes it wait, that is good or bad. No, no, people might have deferring opinions like GM clubs are pretty controversial. I might think they're great. You might not It's like a subjective core. Nuclear power, for example. That's a subject. The Germans think it's the biggest evil that there could be. Everyone else seems to think it's clean energy. Exactly. So that becomes that sort of makes me believe that regulators and actually classifying it in a taxonomy is the only way though good luck to them, right? Trying to deal with the subjectivity, but what's the other way? And you said breaking up ES and G I don't know. I mean, at the end of the day, they're all non financial indicators, which is how I see things, just getting a view of the material, non financial, ESI risks that might impact the company. You've been studying this though for years. What's the solution? Again, materiality is a different ESG issues impact different sectors like for mining, I would say in a safety is very important because it's a dangerous industry and it can lead to sort of mind shutting down loss of productivity. Cement is very covenant and so let's say the EU or carbon is more important, so it's very specific to each industry so you can't really separate the three because different things matter for different sectors. Fascinating, fascinating stuff. All right, shaheen, thanks so much for joining us. Pleasure having you in the Bloomberg interactive broker studio shaheen contractor is an ESG research analyst at Bloomberg intelligence and don't forget, as I mentioned, she's going to be joining us on ETF IQ that's at 1 p.m. on Bloomberg television. "shaheen" Discussed on Bloomberg Radio New York

"So shaheen, I know you got a research report out on this. What is CO2 ambition? It's basically companies setting more carbon reductions setting more ambitious carbon reduction goals. So that's really measured by our BI carbon scores, which basically forecast companies carbon emissions until 2030 and those that are aligned with sort of a Paris warming temperature benchmark. So CO2 seems to be to me at least one of the easier things to address for a lot of companies because it just seems like I can kind of see it measure it and there's technologies to kind of limit it. Is that a fair statement? Yes, but also I think when it comes to climate ambitions of carbon reduction goals, that gets way more complicated because companies are setting these, carbon reduction goals across different business activities. So comparing them all that remains a challenge still. I'm looking at your report here and you've got utilities and airlines and things like that. So they have pretty ambitious CO2 reduction goals that we have any sense of, are they on track to meet them? Can we measure if they're meeting them? So both are report what it's doing is it's saying that companies with more carbon ambitious goals are actually included in Maury as she funds. So it actually matters. That's what I assume. So you say you're going to reduce CO2. I'll invest in your connect. Okay. It's ambition. I think all these companies have recently set these goals so measuring preparedness and ability to meet them as a whole other game. I'm a big company and I say I'm going to reduce my carbon. Is my auditor going to check that out or who's going to check whether I'm doing that? So I think a lot of it is self reported, right? Especially these carbon goals. We are having sort of SEC regulations have promoted disclosure, but when it comes to carbon goals, I think it's still the wild west, though what this report does show is that it does matter to investors, companies setting more carbon reduction goals in terms of ambition are actually being factored in more as she funds. What are some of the key drivers

Where Does Derek Brunson Go From Here?

"Let's talk about dark brunson because he looked great. He dominates he submits darren till in the third round. He's now won five in a row. He's tear it up. And in the contextual sense. He has absolutely done enough to earn a title. Shot in fact. I will strongly argue. He is more deserving title. Shot than marvin vittori was when he got the title shot. Robert whitaker is next. Brunson could easily wait for a title shot. He could be a backup. He could be replacement fighter for that fight or he could go ahead and just take another fight. So where does derek brunson go from. Another dominant win. I'll be shocked if he's not at least slotted in as a reserve for the Sonya you would occur rematch when whenever that happens and it's not. It hasn't been book yet. We're all thinking early. Twenty twenty two. I'm sure brunson will be ready by then. I'm sure he's staying in shape. He's aware of the possibility. I know we said on another show recently. That fighters shouldn't take reserve opportunities. But i mean. I think they should if they're only if they're guaranteed show money and win money. It brunson gets that guarantee. I know that's not gonna happen. That's not how the ucf works. I think they might get their show money usually because they show up and they weigh in. So that's the minimum. You should also get your win money. I want that to be a policy in the usa going forward. And that's the case. Brunson one hundred percent. Be ready for that spot. He's he's definitely earned that for me. If he can wait. I wanna see him weight. This ideal situation that sonya and whitaker shah you're february the late and then And then we you know maybe brunson can get in there. I guess it would be may probably may or april which seems like a long time but if you can wait that long. That's how i would do it. I he deserves tell shot he should notify anyone else. Yeah i mean. I think he's absolutely unequivocally in the driver's seat for the next in line. Spot behind whittaker it's oughta sonya whitaker brunson then cannon air in my eyes and if i'm derek brunson like you said there's nothing more you need to do your next fight should be for the belt and you hope that robert whitaker doesn't beat israel ottesen it because then there's going to be a trilogy fight yada yada. Yada canadair needs brunson to solidify title. Shot brunson does not need cannon air to solidify his in my eyes for the sake of check the tapes and all that the ufc will probably make the fight between brunson and cannon air possibly put it on the same card is out of sonya whitaker. So that's why pick.

Seven habits highly effective people. He said most people do not listen with the intention to understand. Most people listen with the intention to reply so not or not really understanding because their intention is they're not thinking about how they're going to respond and one of his habits or seek first to understand then to be understood as people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care and that's why your intention matters people could feel your intention now. How are we defining intention. Well in in latin intend just is is your aim it is. It is your purpose right. It can be defined as a thing that you intended in. Aim a plan. Why We Built a Virtual Office and How You Can Too)

"Running remote team is a lot of fun. You get to hire people from all around the world and it really works for a lot of businesses. But it's not without its challenges. One of those challenges is that it's not always simple and easy to communicate freely with your colleagues if we were all together in a room or in a shared offices easy for a walk up to somebody at their desk and ask them a quick question. This something that comes natural to us as human beings but working remotely does it naturally. Come to us to be like. Hey i'm gonna jump on shah and asked this question. It's a learned behavior. And we've been doing this for over seven years running this remote team and we wanted to be easier on our team to communicate with each other help. Each other out actually started with our customer support team at webinar ninja. We noticed that sometimes our support agents would struggle with maybe new questions. They were getting from customers new scenarios or situations that they never came across. It would put the customer service agent or ninjas as we call them customer service inches in a strange situation because it wasn't super convenient or instinctual to just jump on a chat and chat with their colleagues. Ask them a question. Way for apply while the customers waiting. This could be a live chat with a customer so we decided to pilot a program called the virtual office. What this basically means is that. We're all together on camera and mike in a virtual room. There's a lot of complicated tools to do this. bowie literally just used google. Hangouts were like. Hey what's the simplest easiest way to validate this idea of without having to sign a for anything. Let's just use google hangouts but before we rolled it out to the customer service team. We wanted to test it out as the managerial team. So myself. my co-founder nicole. Our head of customer service because of service manager. "Roy. Thanks so much coming onto the shah. Thanks hillary clinton you guys go to really cool project going on but before we start digging into that. Let's talk a bit about your polka janney. And how you ended up where you are in the political world. Yeah i started playing poker. I guess just like everyone with friends off to high school and then that kind of developed into going into the casino usually drunk learning that way a name just learning trial and error And then i just started playing live. Cash live tournaments that kind of thing and Busted my role a couple of times and started playing online and yet just started doing well until i stop bussing narrow and really what do you think led to that moment where something shifted and you own crushing role every time but instead we moving into you things in the right direction i guess i Sore a couple of people that i looked up to and so they could really do this as a profession. But if you wanted to do it as a profession needed to take seriously and not gonna treat it just like gambling and that kind of thing so once i started taking it seriously that way it was when i started seeing progress and you know i think the key point especially for a lot of people who might be listening you know they. They might be still in that phase where they build a role they lose their role. They build role they lose their role. When you say taking it seriously. What did that mean for you in your career. I guess it meant we'll firstly. I think what's important is you need to really understand why you wanna play poker. Do you wanna play poker for like a release of stress soil. Do you want to have fun with friends or do you want really progress in make up the ranks make this a profession so that's important festively for me. A big difference came. When i started studying and started seeing the plays. That will much better than me. They kind of taught me how to study. So that was a pretty big turning point for me always thought like try and find someone. That's way your way you want to be in five years. And trion learn from them and mimic what they've implemented to get to where they want to be.

"Open your email. Or i'll this is like there's inherent so the thing that the cool thing about big cloud has ever. He's got a price right. Everybody's gonna every a certain value and so the beauty of of a professional one would be right now when you go on linked in is not obvious the level of hierarchy right and so you always have people who are either recruiters or people who are at the bottom of the career ladder trying to keep connecting and reaching out to the people at the top of the career ladder and they have no real incentive to to to do it so they sort of ignore linden altogether. While i go to this site. I'm just gonna get inundated with crap that i don't really want. And so the beauty of this is that because everybody has a coin value you sort of inherently have baked in these sort of like career worth career value that this person is bringing to the table into the network and so you know aids. Somebody has to buy attention so they buy your coin which increases your price. that's a mutual beneficial in this right. Now if i go paling thin i can send you spam in mill. You do not receive any of the revenue from me penlington for the right to spam you. In this case i could say. Hey if you want to spend me if you want me to read your thing and you want me to respond to it here's my prices so it becomes revenue generating for me. The second thing is that when somebody reaches out i can quickly assess their value in the network based on how how much other people believe in this person. How much other people wait this person. And so now. It's not this kind of like every node kind of looks the same on the surface. No they would not look the same on the surface which is really cool and just one more thing. Yes oh yes so that. There's a kind of crypto angle where everyone's at a price the other angle is Is what will catering for the professional graph rates right. Now that's all it's awesome metric right so every person you follow gets an equal number of value. Their count goes up by exactly one. It's not waited any single. Any way explained pedro.
