Director Norman Stone on His New CS Lewis Film 'The Most Reluctant Convert'

"And let me just tell you, I'm a fan of C. S. Lewis. Which brings me to my friend Norman stone, the film, director, Norman stone, got on the map early in 1984 by directing a film called shadowlands for the BBC starring Claire Bloom, Joss ackland, and he's been doing all kinds of things, but a little bit of C. S. Lewis here and there. He has just directed a new film called the most reluctant convert starring our friend max McLean and Norman stone across the pond from the environs of Glasgow is here with us in the studio. Norman is that you. This is still me, yeah. It's still you. My friend, listen, we've been friends for a long time. And you and I have had millions of silly conversations or at least hundreds. But we both love C. S. Lewis. So when I found out from max McLean, in this studio, you know, he's starring as Lewis, but that you had directed it, I flipped, because I said, there's literally nobody else who should direct the film. Can you tell us because there are people tuning in, they didn't hear the max maclean interview. They may not know about the film rather than my telling them what I know. Tell us what is the film and what will we find in the film? Okay. Louis did write a lot of books, you're right. One of the ones that's probably the most impressive in many ways is the surprise by joy. Basically it's his own story. He writes with a self deferential wit and information comes out and you want to read more. So this is how he began life turned into an atheist and then was a very dogmatic atheist. Anyone can university after a trip for the First World War and so on. And he soon being challenged by people like

Yeah a different take on the marvel universe well and it's like it's a card game you know so it's gotta be how combat but it's it's like a full on rpg two where you can you know. Every hero in the game has different abilities. And whatever like you can be defensive or protective whatever. I'm just gonna nuke down the hunter pets and while the hunt is trying to revive the pets. We go on the hunter. It is a lot more is link. Twenty d- chess that kind of thing compared to just let three d. chess or wherever you know it's that chessboard that got multiple layers them kind of ones. I don't even know how them things like is ridiculous would be interesting to find out to be on. His chest is always a good game. Do enjoy chest because about planning out your your moods. even though. i'm not the best at doing cy. I don't really pray chest. That way i just look at something and goldman gut instinct. And that's what i do for rain most of the time but there is some this something that goes on. In my head you know the cokes coke. Woo do thanh when i'm doing arenas but it's just different in tb. See you're dying to one. Frost nova and just five ice vance's whereas in retail your dime because you'll he lives in dc and you're getting atoll cool town Hunted by a demon hunter. Life demon hunter again. Blasted by kayla spouse here on the. You've done everything that you can. You vouch skinned you frenzy region to shut up melded just sank the along for a second. You trinkets just a you know. Took the icon ready. Say how different they are. I contacted him by justice but they're so good in their own unique ways. That's the thing like season two shetlands. I get one shop. People get one short left front and center the so much healing reduction in season two and healing absorption. That it's absolutely ludicrous. Certainly fucking nuts ally like peop. Everyone has a healing reduction. Rogues on it in like patch nine point one fury warriors. Got it. I think boom were the only ones not bloody get it at this point. Whereas if you look at tb see the only people who have hailing reductions all i think arms warriors. I'm trying to thing yeah. I believe they're the only ones of him reduction in to strike a national. Give some day uniqueness. And this is. What tb is about is uniqueness within arenas so you have more of an advantage against certain clauses which is still the same in retail..

"Currency for that week and you can only get them weekly compared to say you know seven hundred points that you can get over the course of a week. Full retail retail. You obviously have a cat but you can get these constantly throughout the day even by losing games. That's the thing so it's a lot easier to get him retail and i can understand why people like t. c. arenas and stuff because it does feel fulfilling when you get our first piece when you get like three thousand arena points for the staff that kind of thing but you know the constant you know seeing your progress is always really nice is well when it's nice to mix it up and once you've got that piece of gear in tv. See that that's it. You can't really upgrade it. You have to wait for the next season or you have to get just a right guy from the latest rate which is most likely better than pb peak in terms at damage. Wise may be note resilience resilience being the the stat. Full p pages because it reduces your critical strike damage taken and it reduces the chance that you'll be critically struck or something like that old periodic effects. Like datsun stuff. Very we'd it's very much against walks unnoticed. But it's completely different. In terms of gathering comes composition simplistic nature of staff resists. There's loads of stuff. The you know differs. In terms of tb say amd retailed not just arenas embattled grants in general. Because obviously you're looking you know getting the marks for battlegrounds in order to buy your first steps. Will you first stages appea- gear you're looking to just by with owner in retail which the currency the again just by doing battle grounds and like. Tb seemed to be honest but they're so different and yet so great in every way some people hate them. Some people like them and some people like one of them. Some people like none of them that on a thing but to me. They're very good because they each have their own unique look will feel to them. That's thing going absolutely ballistic at retail arenas and cooling. You know twenty different things. That i don't even remember a set the second i leave arena. The i don't remember who was playing what whose web what was happening. You just so know where everything is. You're taking a lot of information on from the screen into your brain at one time competitor. Tb city whereas you know looking at positioning as much if you're looking at like to be too. It's very much a lot slower paced. Therefore your brain is reacting a bit slower to certain decisions you kind of is kinda like chess a lot more like chest the t. bbc arenas because you it the game is slow them for you. Complain your moves ahead of time a lot more. Sorry than you know retail. You can still do this in retail but you can only plan let one two steps ahead whereas mtc you'll planning say several let you gonna paulie move this target..

"And obviously i play in twos or threes games. Musso i enjoy threes more. So than i do twos mainly because of my class but i'm yet to play a few twos with the new legendary bianco which is like a one minute convoked. So you know it's go every minute that kind of thing but in retail comes i'm constantly talking. I'm constantly saying what could have been used what they don't have to not have trinket did i have bubble. Did i have ash hollow. Did i have sac. Which is you know blessedness sacrifice from paladin do they have grip to have a m z from a death knight. That com thing i'm constantly asking my of. Gps what they have would constantly talking to each other like. Do i need help is. This may pressing something as a defensive. Is it you pressing something you paint. Sopping may late meow. Leap of faith. That kind of thing is constant chatter. Whereas tb see i find to allot more slow paced. Get into a game. I'm just chatting freely. A make him a water making mahfoud trading over and then we will cow and we basically say a case warrior android. Okay so worry. Charges in we open on the warrior is very simple is not. It's not me constantly speaking. It's account gonna polian just on touch him gone thing and then there'll be nothing often. I'm just killing the jorde. But i'm just killing joke. Kill so kill injured. I can't go back to worry now. Make nice which the warrior that kind of thing so. It's a lot more relaxed. I'd say and it's nice change of pace. But i prefer it when it's hank tick i prefer when it's just absolute chaos mainly because that's when the skill comes through in the game because you keep become head you know what up in us you know what you need to to survive like. They're could angie. No you need to kill them and to set up your kill potential. That kind of thing. That's what the skill comes in. Whereas tb see again as like a priest may jr like you come up against a road rage. You can't do much you really can't do. Much is very much one of us getting cece to shit and the gis con- nieces live on our having lived but they just have to live somehow and that's basically the arena whereas if you come up against the break manage it s- a lot more buttons that you can and it's a lot easier to set cetinje my that for assisi chain and the other person's just getting up certainly run down at the same time so there's many different variables intensive tv seem retail comes. One is really hectic in my personal experience. Because i'm usually the one are being hectic. I'm usually Dps co downs in staff whereas his healing who have been playing with who's hailing booby cooling out. What the heels used or like what the thing. Eps is going to be using or if they need to or i need to press something to save myself that kind of thing so it's lot more hectic in that way whereas you not bc doesn't have these big cool downs necessarily where you have to go a. You've got to press something to survive here. It's just very much consistent damage. And it's tough to go from one to the other in all honesty but gearing in terms of tb see and brita was completely different as well in terms of paid. Up as a whole to be honest. Obviously you've got the retail. Ppp vendors like they are tb. see but we've tb. sees a weekly thing so weekly. Currency whereas retail is a constant thing. So you're constantly again. Owner or conquest. When you're playing compared to tb see where the rating that you're at will give you a certain number of a brain.

"Got everything that kinda thing but another thing that you need to take into consideration is basically composition so with T. b. c. Rina's they're all better comes says always going to be better com sutphin chatelain's and bc. But there's going to be comps. That don't make sense but still kind of what i mean. I've paid against double hunter and tb. See it absolutely slaps light. A marriage while moments do against double hunters absolutely. Nothing was many people meant to against double hunters that just press beast beast you breath and let their pet one show something. Like is absolutely ludicrous. I just dropped drop dead. because icon route them icon. Do anything to mccown see. See them because they're running. That unstoppable talent or whatever is where the only thing that can stop them his death. Thanks a literally when it says intuited site in. Tb say you can practically everything and enjoy it. That's niche things to look out for tb. Say that there isn't necessarily so in retail or it wouldn't work as well in retail that kind of thing because everyone's got their own self reverence got learn sustained. You can see everyone at any time. That kinda thing but so composition does matter retail more so than tb. See but like i said again is about having fun in arenas some people are very competitive and they wanna run the best com. That's what makes it fun for them. Some people just want to goof about double junta double shadowed priests shattered priests midge. Absolutely anything is great fun as jeff fun. It doesn't matter now comes or lot more comes at different. Imbo retail and Tb see so in retail. I'm a aps and obviously i play in twos or threes games. Musso i enjoy threes more..

"And then just fern ice lawns and november sometime breaks damage but sometimes it thousand and this is where it gets fun. You'd fernley swanson. it will crew it. Would you like to k. And then the nova doesn't break see throw never is launched in an iceland is an instant cost by the way. So say for another ice. L'ancienne chris again to k. Students and break through another one in two k. For another one another and the dead thus it they died at one. Frost nova is not really outplaying. Your opponent is it. I say that i played boom kid in arenas in shadowlands and i pressed convoke say is one of them things but compared to that with say a convoke a convoked. Could you need to all you need to set up perfectly. Compared to say you just press nova and ice lawns. We have a convoking playing against soccer. Chaman if gotta make sure that donald grounding totem or a kick and the kid is fifteen seconds grounding totem is twenty five or thirty seconds. so you've got fifteen window but you've also got to make sure that the other person on their team doesn't have lake or they stanton or their interrupt. You gotta make sure men on you. You gotta make sure like that. You can actually see them. You're not just gonna be waste in this convoke and start so in many different variables to get off these sylvan abilities in retail. And you've got to plan out with your team and you've got to set up perfectly. And i think there needs to be any silver setup. In terms of tb see maybe certain comps commissions lot roadway obviously is a very simple setup. You sat one and you kill the other and it's saint like mugabe rock enough h h might shrink it. The sat and in which case the rope will blind. He might is blocked the blind in which case it. You've just count dispelling shape him his that simple. It's very much simplistic again. It's nothing tough whereas if you're go for clone in chatelain's you've got many different things to worry about again. You've gotta get there trinket you're gonna get big cool downs. You've gotta get multiple. Kicks out the way. You've gotta get multiple grounding totems. Possibly you're playing against showman's that many different things that can stop you from getting this and it sold about working together with your team as much. She can more savvy than what is in tv. Say obvious is still about welcome of your team and tv. Say don't get me wrong. But the team in three v. Threes in shadowlands. I would say is a lot more highest skill. Capped the motor as t say because of how simplistic it is. And that's kind of why. I love both of them to pianist. Tb c. is so very simplistic when you come from shetlands arenas and like three d. threes excetera because there's a lot less buttons alanis ways in which anything can be stopped. The gains ought quicker just many different things but that both very good in their own way. Don't get me wrong. it's just i'd say. Tv sees a lot more simplistic in terms of its peavy vp. Setting for arenas and i think in reference which king cataclysm it's when they started to give everyone everything and that's when it started to become a bit more like retail arenas where every he'll has like despicable magic such as druids that didn't have them in the past that kind of thing everyone's goal setting trinkets and.

"Everything's gonna hundred ten miles an hour in shetlands and you know you're cruising down a country lane like sixty in new not say. Is that kind of thing. You have a lot more thinking time. Ask the best way to put it and this can be attributed this to source of things. So the amount of spell that are in the gaming chatelain's the amount of different variables which come with these at moat spouse. He got the covenant abilities you every thing whereas see everyone's got their settlers who seventy spells and that's it you know that one to seventy level spouse and thus it has no so of extra there is obviously you're ratios that you have to include so orcs are reduced. Stuns unite pounded in oak paladins. Blood l was can have the silence effect on debts have would love forsaken to gal fizz and stuff so that some things that you do have to play around such as ratios but there's no actual of a spouse that people can you know utilize unless it's an engineering to like. I said right shows that kind of thing. So obviously we've tb see you're gonna have a lot of resists and a lot of resistance is come into plane so this isn't apparent in retail. Told you can have mrs and stuff and dodges searches on menes. But resists can you mrs beryl nothing he can. You can earning miss old light espo if the enemy pops a cool down a a demon hunter pops darkness. They're just absorbing it or his missing or nether woke that just immune to it and that kind of thing you can actually get any resists on the on the characters or the pets as it were whereas if you look at tpc and you look at warlocks or on the best example for this especially their Minion no foul hunt. Fell hound fell hunt. That runs a bio. And just you know starts spell locking you and dispelling you absolutely knowing but these pets have something insane resist and you can be standing there. This clips of destroys trenton. At cyclone this fell onto pet and it takes about eight costs. So i think someone's at two second costs won't put five can cost own. Say two seconds. And tb say so. It takes eight costs sixteen seconds. She just stand there trying to sign. Clinton is dan lewis. Fell hunter while you'll make trying to one v to outline doing absolutely everything he can to safai. Even you know these on things that you've got to worry about you've got to outplay. Your opponent in shetland. You've gotta ls. You've got to utilize the like stuff around you. You've got to utilize your teammate sentenced. Small interactions that might help back on a thing but resists can be very orangey based you can get absolutely lucky with resists and they get no luck with them that kind of thing it some con light major and frost nova so a major shit. Whoa majors damage comes from is froze nova and this is because you usually take the shatter talent and this increases the chance when the tonga's frozen to have a critic and this is by fifty percent if you've maxed out so you can know.

"Outplay the manage. The majors still favor to win of it. Say but the warriors can outplay. The major and there is a son element of your skill. I is like the guilty. The skew level skill cap. That you have in tb see is a lot lower than say skill level or the skill cap in shadowlands many. Because you've got so many more buttons to utilize and used in so many so small interactions with it so a interaction that i can think of. Is they recently. Brought out a new trinket in season. Two and this trink is good. Maladic te and what is trinket does is it. Basically deals damage over four second generation and one is dealing damage is applying a healing absorption. Saryu any healing is healed into this healing lotion. Up to a certain amount of course is not actually healing. The target is just absorbed by this maladic trinket and if you were to utilize this on a warrior you say use this on a warrior and they pressed reflect i spell reflect after like this is already hit them. Then the damage will be reversed or reverted back to you. After they've hit dispel reflect and this is a bit of a quirky interaction to be honest and it doesn't necessarily seem like it should work in that way but you know. Tc warriors they have reflects as well but is a lot more easy to play ram because while you sit said defensive stance ability spo- faked so you see them switch to defensive stance if they're in luck nova from a marriage and then they pressed spelled frighten. You already know that it's going to happen. See stop casting sieges frozen like a little scorch in there or something. It's you know one of them just things whereas in shadowlands you don't necessarily in win. They're gonna present. It's tough to some warriors of really good. And they have you know. I play druid for example at boom kindred and whenever i go to see a warrior there's always that fear of having aspera reflect up. This is something that. I constantly have a my omnipotent which tracks cool downs. It's an add on trunks downs. And if they don't have a spell flagged on cool down then. I go to cause the site klein and juke the end to see if he's watching me almost and some is a good some worries do watch and if they get juked they get juked one on things. If they don't they don't bu- ultimately is a lot tougher to play around. Certain cool downs in shadowlands is a lot more simplistic in tb. See because you know. Everything's slow paced..

So shonda rhimes was born in chicago. Illinois in january nineteen seventy. She was the youngest of six children. Her mother vero was a college professor and her father. Eilly was a university administrator. And she'd said that she exhibited an early affinity for storytelling early on in her life. She attended marin catholic high school and served as a hospital volunteer which inspired an interest in hospital environments. She majored in english. And film studies at dartmouth college and she graduated in nineteen ninety-one at dartmouth the black underground theatre association. She divided her time between directing and performing in student productions and also writing fiction and after college. She moved to san francisco and worked in advertising but she moved to los angeles a little bit after that to stubby screening at the university of southern california. She was ranked top of her class at usc. And she earned the gary rosenberg writing fellowship. She obtained a master of fine arts degree from the. Us's school of cinematic arts. And while at usc rimes was hired as an intern by debra martin chase who was prominent black producer she also worked at denzel washington's company monday entertainment so after she graduated rimes was actually an unemployed script writer in hollywood and to make ends meet. She worked various jobs including as an office administrator. And then a counselor at a job center during this period rhymes worked as a research director documentary. Hank aaron chasing the dream which won the nineteen ninety-five peabody award. One thousand nine hundred. Eighty eight rhymes made a short film called blossoms. Unveils which starred. Jada pinkett smith and jeffrey rate. This is actually only credit as a film director. So that's nineteen ninety eight short film blossoms unveils new line cinema purchased a feature. Script of hers It ended up not being produced at that time but she received an assignment shortly thereafter to co write the hbo movie introducing dorothy dandridge in nineteen ninety nine which earned numerous awards further star. Halle berry. get out. I didn't realize that she colorado so interesting. Oh wait till you hear the the plethora of things that she's worked on. Oh no after grad school rhymes sold her first screenplay called human seeking same about an older black woman looking for love in the personal ads. And that film wasn't produced. But you have heard of her next project in two thousand and one rhymes wrote the debut film of pop singer. Britney spears the starring zoe saldana and taryn. Manning crossroads everybody. I didn't know that she wrote that. Get out up saying. I feel like it's been really it was really panned by the next but maybe for them. Okay no sometimes. It's it's sometimes you just want a nice story about friendship road trimming going on a road trip and having a nice time and may be hitting up a karaoke joint. Heck yeah and singing. I love rock and roll. That's all i'm saying is that maybe it's for them. I think lauren has actually seen crossroads. I have felt you know. She wrote that and then the next thing that she worked on in two thousand four was the sequel to the princess. Diaries called the princess diaries. Two royal engagement. Get out. yeah. I didn't realize that she was so like a dummy. I just assumed like shonda rhimes right out. The gate was grey's anatomy but apparently she was introduced are obsolete reduce. So she's working on all these film things in two thousand three. She actually wrote her first tv pilot. Abc it was about young female war correspondents but the network. Turn it down. You know what they didn't turn down ask project. So here's where sean hillen comes in sean. Billion is the name of rhymes production company shine million and its logo also referred to the shows that she has produced an also to rimes herself. So when we say shaun d land. It's like interchangeably sean. And her production company. Yeah and like the. Because i do remember like i think it was. Abc or nbc. I forgot what what channel she's on but it was. They were like girl a sorry But it was like thursday nights. Is sean the land. Because it was like it was like back to back to back to back shadowland shows. We'll talk about that. "That gating of that has been I know for the mythic higher end side has been a real boon. Actually of they don't want to be sitting there grinding reputations in all these different places just to that they can have the best thing they want to be doing the best thing which is being in their rating and dying. You know because that's obviously what you do. You die a lot more than you succeed so they want to be doing that. And not so i think for that on the mythic plus side and the gating. The the difficulty wise is really good. I think it's helpful for the casual players because they that does reduce how much they're quote unquote missing out. But at the same time it's also limiting that as a higher end writer. You can't do it like it's they've they've gated it for them and i'm okay with that i mean i i i like that. I like my time back to be able to do other things that i want to do in game like the latest greatest transplant young player. Who used to be a writer. I don't feel like i'm missing out on anything. There's enough that keeps me busy enough. That i can do. If i want to see the rates in the stories there's l. afar or i can get into a normal group which usually isn't too hard beyond that. I don't really care like all the changes the mechanics. That doesn't change the story. So i don't feel like i'm missing out anything having come from one place now being in a very different place in the game. I'm still getting to see things still getting tons to do I love torah. i have a love hate. Relationship with tear-gas. I love some wings. Not so much depends on how well i can get through them But it like. There's so many things that you can do either solo or with a partial group or with a full group of five. Or what have you that. You're not going to log him like board. There's always something you can find. So i feel.

"Have to have full characters So you can see that. They've done a lot of work to try and make out friendly Like the up. Experience renown is phenomenal I hit level the own. My whole character lost week last week and she's just hate renown eighteen. It's just that mickley. Wow everyone turned around and did something like. Oh we'll give you a renown for that. I'm like yeah okay. So yeah they were throwing renown out. It happened really quickly. Which is great. But i have heard some people being upset about some would call key gameplay or key story lines that are being put in things like tool cost or into dungeons or into raids. And it's for a lot of casual players that's not content. They ever do and say now. They're feeling they're missing out because they're being told to see that you have to go to august or you have to go do this other thing. You don't like myself because like make do some writing. "Makes all the other stuff a little bit swayed. If that makes sense you know you kind of look at the game. And i love this game. Yeah even all the challenges. Aside is still. It's a game. That still has more heart all these years layoffs or now and would you say part of that of the that love. Lita isd is like the story how is that. How's the storytelling. Experience been so far for you in the shadowlands story this. It's a really good thing to have hand fed the story that you get you know the campaign one one way and then you've gotta wait to to but there's also that rule part of me that just wants the whole damn thing right now so you kinda like finding wanting to know how everything what's and trying to be patient patients is not necessarily my best quality Sore it's it's just that you are seeing the story and how things are playing in each zone. And what's going on and i love story like we have such. You're rich background of story to pick from from you. Know what sixteen years and again for me. I mean yeah this little bit of things that you kinda go. Oh i don't quite understand that or get that but just watching the cinematics about you guys. But when those cinematics popping game. And i'll just sit there and i'm just like transfixed i'm like it's gonna happen. It's just yeah just gives me goosebumps. It's greater those cinematics. I'm glad you brought those up because those are have been excellent and I've been really happy with them. And to the point where A now i'm starting to dabble into my second tunes Second and third wall second tune. And you know. It's like even though i've seen him before it's like wait. Wait stop like. I'm like i need to watch this again because again you know and and to have that same experience in it's only been like you know two to three months since the beginning of the first time i saw him Is really nice. I agree like i when doing alpha and beta testing. I thought it was hilarious. The all the awesome in game event info. Larry like dousing the cinematic something like. Oh yeah.

Nineteen nineties where. I had a father who was paralyzed from the neck down with multiple sclerosis and he was a writer and in. So i've been traveling. He was a fantastic to larry's driven ambitious intelligent witty. Great fun guy. We traveled the world together. I was his legs. Is schommer is secretaries nurse. With a lot of fun. We interviewed. Stephen hawking we interviewed race cartilage legend. Dan gurney traveled to formula one races down in mexico city. I mean we did some really cool stuff and my my father was a brilliant writer. I was always amazed at how could put words together and <hes>. So good at it. Got such a skill and i had picked up probably in the late eighties very early. Ninety certainly the late eighties early nineties. A video camera from a friend of mine. And i was so a amazed at the technology of steve instant. The did was take back then. But the instant playback it's like you know it was amazing. It was a real novelty back then and and what a great tool it was for documenting things and so i started doing video production. You know probably my very early twenties and <hes>. Probably i dunno. I want to say when i was around. Twenty three twenty four a very good high school friend of mine. One of my best friends. One of my best mates we <hes>. We bought a car length. We flew to europe from america. We bought a car in london. And we drove this old fiat. One thirty one doors read two hundred pounds for it. We drove it all the way to added justin not just had a hell of a of adventure together and car did make it out four gold back but he was a good friend of sky rene and he started to tell me back back in the us <hes>. About ufo's in one of my best friends honestly and <hes>. <hes> i had. He didn't talk to me about highschool but he talked about it later in early twenties tonight. I thought he'd lost mind. I really did talking about roswell. You take your you haven't heard about roswell and i just thought well it's been a good friend and i'm gonna have to write him off. He's lost his mind and <hes>. I was telling the story to a a mentor apprentice. Video production house in san francisco <hes>. Ellison horn productions have been like this in this guy. Richard van sickle was was one of the senior people at the production house. The brilliant guy. I really looked up to him. And i just one day told him all. You're not gonna believe really good friend of mine is tell me about your phone and then about how you crashed and aliens were recovered in roswell back in the forties. Got my poor friend. He's lost his mind and <hes>. Richard turns me and he says no. You heard about that. I said haven't heard. But no i haven't heard fully happened. He said they actually admitted that it happened. And i thought well hang on a minute. richard. Somebody i look up to and i respect and very intelligent. He runs his video production company. And i thought well if richard thinks that happened. Maybe i should take a closer look. And so i did. And i went to a couple of conferences and i <hes>. Befriended some military guys basically exchanged offered an exchange of of documenting them and making you know <hes>. Making their interviews available to the public and documenting presentations and things of that nature in in exchange. They kind of brought me into their world. Bit and then <hes>. I think when i was twenty four maybe twenty five. I said hey. I'm a documentary on your phones. And i was amazed at how not unsupportive. My father was because my father was

WoW Shadow Lands Trailer Released

"Just. I watched the world of warcraft shadowlands trailer today as always blizzard pretty much. The only thing they can do correct these days and they do it better than anybody. Are these freaking trailers man. Holy shit they look good. Enough have no interest in the game at all. Tell me about They're really good. They're number twenty. We've talked about this before their animation and storytelling team has always been incredible But yeah shadowlands is scheduled to come out in about a week. And they've patched in they did a pre patch. I want to say about a month ago to the original game Or the current retail-version where they changed they re scaled the entire game. So max level is fifty instead of one hundred twenty. I think it was before. So they redesigned. They redesigned leveling or does basically the systems. They did system System at its. They didn't like build a new world or whatever And the games coming on november twenty. Third it's pretty I wanna say people have higher expectations for this than they did. For previous games or the previous expansion at least The knitted for battle for us. Ross so We'll see if blizzard delivers if they've learned and improved on systems from the last expansion. I think as far as wild goes the thing that the from from my limited perspective on what the community thinks in that game. I'm more of a classic guy right but my understanding of it is that people's primary problems with the recent world of warcraft has been poorly implemented systems. It's not about world design. It's not been about quests it's been about you get to endgame. What rewards are there. How do you obtain them. And how actually rewarding does it feel to play like that Where some people have said that the systems are just haven't been good in this last expansion so based on what i've heard from blizzard. Qna's and their interaction with community. They've taken it to heart and they've redesigned systems so now we'll see how good it actually is.
