Let's see, the idea to rest the Lakers starters in game 5 is completely insane or unappreciated genius. 88% right now going with completely insane shout out to that 12% though that recognized genius when they see it. What are we going to go with the poll question for our two seat O'Connor? Well, we could switch things up a little bit and head over to the NFL. The NFL is releasing their schedule of the European games tomorrow. Is that right? Yes, they are. European games came out. The rest of the schedule tomorrow night. Yeah, sorry, so we have 5 games in Europe. Which would you be cool with? Moving and NFL team to Europe, having a Super Bowl in Europe, both neither. I don't want to export our Super Bowl. It's our Super Bowl. It feels like we're going to get a team at some point. I know we've been talking about this for over ten years. Just it feels like if that team is going to be Jacksonville, and I've said that before, people in Jacksonville get upset. I'm only telling you what I've been told down through the years. But there's so much more involved in this. Living there, paying taxes there. Flying back and forth. What if you have a game, how do you schedule it where you're going to be on the West Coast? Do you then stay on the West Coast? You have two games. I think Jacksonville does Jacksonville at back to back games in London with this European schedule. They play it Wembley. Jacksonville. Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans. They're having games in London at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which was when they built that stadium, they built it specifically to host also accommodate NFL games. Is Jacksonville playing back to back games, Marvin? Yes, we have four or 5. Okay, that's what I thought. And maybe that's what you do, but is London, is that the places that the destination is Mexico City is Germany. It feels like they're trying to figure that out. And I think they were, I don't want to put words in anybody in the NFL office's mouth. But surprised at just how enthusiastic the crowds were in Germany. And now you're sending Patrick Mahomes there against the dolphins, which I don't agree with at all. Because that, that's tyreek hill coming back to Kansas City. You know, you can send you can export whatever game over there. It's not like they're going to go, I'm not going to go see that. It feels like whatever game they're getting, they're going to go see that game. Now you're taking a big game, important game, a rivalry game, Tyree kill coming back to Kansas City. We'll still watch it. I feel bad for the fans in Kansas City. Yeah, Pauly. I'm reading a bunch of stories when SHAD Kahn first bought the Jacksonville Jaguars. That was fall of 2011. There was a lot of speculations that the Jaguars, which had a nice fan base, but was not bringing them into well. Would eventually move to London. There doesn't seem to be any traction towards that or any reporting that that is in the works. You would think, we're now 11 or 12 years into this, and you haven't heard anything. Do you think the NFL floated it and got too much backlash? Probably so this is what the NFL does.

Please do not shoot. I'm Lil dicky. Grappler? I brought you fall down 7 times you get up 8. Why would I have to get up 8 times if I've only fallen down 7? The math doesn't even add up. FX is Dave, premieres April 5th on FXX, stream on Hulu. We're back on NFL live. Hey, how about the Jacksonville Jaguars who just one year after having the number one overall pick? Able to win the AFC south in a playoff game. Trevor Lawrence made strides and Doug Peterson was back to his creative ways. Here's jag's owner SHAD Kahn on what worked well for them. The vibe I get is that I think we've cracked the code. You know, we've got a great head coach. We got a great general manager and we have a great quarterback. And that's the trifecta for success in the NFL. We've got the draft primarily to develop players for the future and a system that is sustainable. Yeah, you guys are on to something in Jacksonville, the Jaguars coming off their first divisional title since 2017 will have the 24th pick in this year's first round, by the way, and Trevor Lawrence turned it on in the second half, ranking second in the league in both completion percentage and touchdown to interception ratio over those final pivotal ten weeks. He'll have a new receiver to throw to. Calvin Ridley eligible to play following his suspension we're a number zero by the way. So Dan, how can the Jaguars capitalize on their momentum from the end of last year? Don't allow last year success to mask your flaws. Truth, you on your division and Trevor Lawrence took a massive step forward. Reality, you had the 31st ranked pass blocking offensive line in the NFL. And so I look at this upcoming draft and I sit there and say, if you really want the quarterback to become the number one player that we think he's capable of doing it, treat like the chiefs did, Patrick mahomes. They'll draw offensive line, like the Bengals have not forgotten about build around Joe burrow and protect them. They got skilled possessions galore. You got to address your offensive line in depth to make sure you keep that young player Trevor Lawrence upright. I hear you on the offensive line. I think some of it will depend on how they view walker little who's going to be the starting right tackle this year. But to get out of the AFC and to be clear, that should be this team's goal. There should be thinking Super Bowl, they got to get better on past defense stand. This is a team that finished 30th in past Stevie away. They didn't rank high in sacks, but they actually finished top ten in pass rush win rate and pressure rate. The issue to me is entirely on the back end. Picking at 24, there are a lot of cornerbacks I like that I think are going to be available there. So I think that's something that Jacksonville has to seriously consider because if you want to stop burrow and mahomes, you got to be able to stop the pass. I mean, you're absolutely right. I'll be anxious to see as well the development of guys as we get into year two of this system. Do we see travon walker who was the number one overall pick? Step up, do we see Tyson Campbell who was the first round pick 21? Step up. But I think it's the defensive line. I would love to see offensive line play the values just not there in this draft late in the first round, but the defensive line where you could get someone like Clemson defensive tackle Brian bursey who can be that kind of enforcer as a 6 foot 5, 300 pound run stuffer who can push the pile can get after the quarterback. I think that's more what they need up front so that they can open lanes for Josh Allen. So they can't open lens for travon walker. And as we all know, a good password is gonna help those guys in coverage as well. So if they see a situation where listen this is a week O line class on the interior, it is a weak safety class this draft is. So if you don't love the corner value, which I'm with, you mean a corner is a need for them. You can maybe address the pass rush, try to open some doors to boost that and be able to pressure some of these quarterbacks so that you're taking a lot of that anxiety away from your corner so they're not having to cover for so long back then. The reason why I talk about the offensive line because when Doug Peterson was head coach of Philly and they won the Super Bowl in 17, they had the number one ranked rushing attack in the NFL. And I just think philosophically and identity while Calvin's coming along and Trevor's there. That's who they want to be. And chaos you this question. Defensively, I think it revolves around this. Philosophically, do you think it's more important to have people to get to the quarterback or do you think it's more important to have people to cover? Because if it's the cover people, then I could see taking another cover person trying to match up against a sensei with their weapons or Kansas City with Patrick. Yeah, this is a moderately aggressive defense under my Caldwell. I think part of the reason why I'm prioritizing coverage is something that Matt alluded to, they've invested so much already in the past rush. Josh Allen is there. We need to see if travon walker can get there. I think the secondary at this point, especially when she killed Griffin walking out the door, that's an area where they can still invest. And I just love this a lot of mass. Yeah, Josh Allen on the defensive side too. I mean, talk about a guy that holds himself accountable. Dan, I'm curious, what do you think the immediate impact from Calvin Ridley is knowing that he hasn't played football in a long time? We're excited, but can not wait for this. If Calvin Ridley is what Calvin Ridley was before the suspension, we're talking about an offense that can go punch for punch with Kansas City with buffalo with Miami. He's that talented. And he's going to make Christian Kirk's job so much easier. Evan Ingram is going to only be elevated. And we will see Travis Etienne have some of those lighter boxes and being able to run versus more of a numbers advantage. So his performance is a huge part of this conversation. Big night guys

"So I don't know, it's just like an illuminating look into the actual day to day life. Of players, the Cardinals got last for the treatment and families because they had to pay for all their own meals. They're the only team that made the players pay for all their meals. It's funny all the teams were on brand, like I totally expected. The Bengals, the Cardinals, commanders, the Jags surprised me a little bit though, because SHAD Kahn is really, really rich. And they're also doing simultaneously AW, the wrestling thing. And it never occurred to me that they would be one of the true cheap hosts, but they had rodents in the locker room. They had a legitimate rad issue. In Jacksonville's defense, I will say the report said the players were confident that the team would rectify these situations and improve them. It just hadn't happened. So they didn't feel like they were getting screwed, I think. It was just more like, okay, we did to fix this. There weren't a lot of coaches and there was like, I think the cheese trainer got named. If I remember correctly it was the reverend's chiefs, I don't want to miss name the book. The coach that was named was Josh McDaniels, which coupled with Darren Waller and his wife dunking on him over the wedding thing. Some kind of a rough off season for Josh. Yeah. Just from a man. I'd say every waking moment of his non patriots anything has been pretty rough. Yeah, the poor Jags. I'm gonna unleash incredibly hot take on you guys that I've been thinking about for really since the plan. I still think the Jags could have beaten the chiefs. I really feel like that was sitting there and there's a sliding doors where like three out of ten times they win the game. Sure. And we never see the chiefs in the next round. That game was close. Did you ever feel? Like, Trevor Lawrence, yeah, sure. I think anything could happen. I wanted to get that off my chest. I like it. All right. You know, I'm not going to do Rogers. This would be a great bit, by the way. I want to keep putting them off. I like that tight ends and running backs are now the freelance cameraman at the NFL. Like they don't even, it's like, yeah, I have one, Damien Harris. One year, 2 million. Damon Harris is good. He didn't play as much as he normally would have last year because her magic Stevenson became one of the four best running backs of the league. Tight ends, Dalton Schultz thinks he's going to get huge payday ends up with the Texans for like one year, 6 million. The price for running backs and tight ends is now year to year, they're not even like, what did Rashad, what did penny get from it? Barely over the league, but it was like 1.3 million or something. Which is the same. Big injury history though. True. Basically, the NFL is turning into where fantasy drafts go after round two, where it's like, I want to get a tight end for a dollar. I didn't get Travis Kelce. Now I'm going to do I'll get everything for a dollar. I'll take I'll just roll the dice on four different from running backs for $5 and maybe I'll hit with one of them. Now all these teams have actually adopted that strategy. And there's an awesome running back in the draft this year, who everybody thinks is one of the best 5 players in the draft, and yet he'll probably go, what? 20th, 25th. I like this. Is that a whack? Bill,

"Brian, why don't you give us your number 9? The monae, different world. Ah, there you go. It's kind of funny going back and looking at the song you kind of forget like I don't think it seemed like you just mentioned Christianity and listen to stuff for a long time. It's probably been 15 years since I probably heard that song and I was I forgot what a great song this is, a real thing. Again, a kind of a fun song to get a record with. So and it continues our Smith Harris vive as well. But yeah, I haven't number 9. It's so funny too, because that is the tour where they played the whole record in its entirety, matter of life and death. And that's the only Iron Man tour. I did not go to facility. It wasn't because I didn't like the record. Scheduling wise just was really weird. I forget what it was, but every other Iron Man tour since the beginning basically. I even saw it in your neck of the Woods front. What's the amphitheater called in Irvine? It's right. So I remember going to that, and I knew what was going on, but in the place was. I remember that thinking like I couldn't believe how many people were there, and this was, I guess, when was that record? Maybe 2006 or so. And it was jam packed and they came out and they started with different worlds and then they go to these colors don't run and they keep going brighter than they keep going and keep going. And I remember those people like halfway through going what the is going on. But I'm going to do a real quick tangent just because that's kind of fun. So when I saw mating on this last run in New Jersey, backstage hang with rod and Alexander millis, who have done a lot of work with and he, of course, fan club. My old plus. Yeah, exactly. And so we were just kind of talking and I mentioned, I forget how it came up, but we're talking about how many shows, being shows I've been to and I said, you know, I calculated and I'm over 300. Wow. I was asking, who's been to the most? You go, that's a really good question. So he did some digging and found like some guy from South America. I think that's up to 600 shows. So I wanted to ask you guys if you know how many maiden shows you've been to. Have you been to 300 main shows, Brian? Oh my God. I don't even want to say mine. I'm embarrassed. Me too. I think I've cracked like 20 something now, which is like not too bad for having started going about 2003, I guess, but that's still a lot. Hundreds. I think I'm about around 30 right now, which isn't back considering I grew up in Winnipeg were made would come once a year if you were lucky, and they weren't playing anywhere else. So if they came to Winnipeg, you're super excited. But also, you've basically been on the road itself, but like a lot of that time as well, so. And that's also the reason why I was able to kind of see them more in the last ten, 15 years because I'll go take road trips now and then try and do see them if they're playing Calgary Edmonton or Milwaukee Chicago. So I've been on a lot of those trips as well. So it was actually pretty funny as a quick segue for you. I went and saw them in Toronto back in October and we had an AW show on Wednesday and they played on Tuesday. And they stayed in the four seasons, Toronto, which is owned by my boss, SHAD Kahn. So I remember I met rod in the restaurant and I was like, dude, in 86, I snuck into the Weston hotel to try and meet iron made. And you guys kicked me out and said now I can go anywhere I want because my boss owns the hotel. You can't stop me now. You can kick that up. How do you take that? Well, you know, and then anyways, after the show, it's funny because my boss also owns the Fulham football club whose arrival of West Ham, which of course is Steve's team. I have been terrified to talk to Steve for years. Finally had some common ground introduced him to my boss. They hit it off at the greatest conversation. My boss, my boss got his phone number. Amazing. I was like, I have trying to talk to seniors for 30 years. You got his phone number in ten minutes. Once a month, and that was in 1981, when I interviewed him for my fans. Like you, Steve Harrison. But he's the greatest guy. I know that's what everybody says. Frank Bello can't believe this story. I go, I swear. And here's the best part of all. So I finally am sitting at a table with Steve and my boss Tony con and across the way is Adrian Smith. Alex Lifeson. And I'm like, oh yeah, that's licensed. Wow. Holy shit. What a night. Have you met a royalty? I know and the problem was I was so drunk at that point in time. I wouldn't talk to Alex. And I'm like, I wish I would have, I wish I wouldn't have been as drunk. I would have loved to have had a better chat with them, but it's rock and roll, right? What do you expect? Amazing. So I'm going to go next. My number 9, speaking of what you want to hear live on the next tour Merlin is Sanjay tzu, the title track for their newest record, which once again, Smith and Steve Harris. Amazing. They've connected to write the opening song on every record apparently. They know what they do.

"For I don't know how long. But that's part of this. Even if he was suspended for the entire season, he's their first round draft pick. You know, you used to live on that where you have a bad football season. Say, there's hope next year. We look towards the draft. Well, we traded away that first round pick. You've got to have a quarterback that you believe in are you fully can deliver whatever he gets on the field. It's giving you a glimpse of hope. It's giving you a glimpse into the future. If indeed, he is suspended for the entire season. Because otherwise like those 17 games that come along, if he can't participate in any of them in the regular season, you're going to hear a lot of fans just moaning and complaining, but they're going to be looking towards the future. That's how that's how this fan base, that's how this franchise is operated. Pretty much since it became came back as an expansion team. Let me ask you guys this. Do you think the NFL is happy with the brown starting of tonight? No. Okay. So just throwing this out there. What if the browns continue to go through with this? Yeah, he's going to start. He's going to start. And then the NFL finally just says, okay, the decision comes down. What if they pull him off the field during warm ups or actually during the game where somebody comes over to him similar to seeing a guy get traded mid game during the MLB trade deadline and they've got a poem off the field and out of the dugout. What if he's out there warming up and all of a sudden somebody comes up to him and says, hey buddy, you're not playing. You just got suspended. It starts immediately and then you're gone. That shit probably happened before they get to the field. But if the NFL's got a red ass about this and says, well, we don't like it. Probably happened before they get to the field. Why would you wait until he's on the field? Well, look, if you're going to put us out there and make our league look bad, we're going to make you look bad and pull them off the field while he's getting warmed up for a game. So how about that? How about that spiting your face? Bet your asset is. No, that's not how that works. I'm certain they're probably up right now in New York. And I'm certain they are on, you know, they are deliberating pretty intensely as to how to handle this. Because to me, I think this is a potential PR nightmare for the NFL. It could possibly not be. But are they willing to take the chance? Like, okay, we're going to allow him to play. The suspension hasn't been levied yet. But it's still like, okay, a suspension being levied. I just explained to me to my interpretation of it and how I look at it. It's like, that doesn't suspension really, oh, the suspension matters because now the games matter. The winds, the winds and the loss totals, they count now. But he still has the ability to go out there and play the game he loves. I might be missing something here, but the fact that he has not played, he didn't play last season. Now he's in training cap, so he's going through practices as normal. He is basically an as normal a routine as any other player. That's playing. So why now all of a sudden are we not considering the fact that, okay, the suspension is going to be levied. It's going to be a harsher penalty. They're trying to negotiate and say what they would be willing to take and put it out there. Okay, fine, all of those things. But to me, I almost feel like you do not let him practice. You do not let him participate in the preseason games. You do not let him participate until you hash this thing out. To me, that would have been the most sound approach to this whole entire scenario without running into lines of interpretation of how is this being handled? And I know that's not the rules. But to me, in a situation like this, I would have aired on the side of caution and said, we're holding the dude out. You guys hold the dude out until we figure out what we're going to do. But you know, they didn't do that. So it would be interesting to see if he played tonight. This will be the most covered Jacksonville Jaguars game since their AFC title game against the Patriots. And all season for that. Think about it. So congratulations, SHAD Kahn. You've done it. You've got yourselves a highly covered team all took was deshaun Watson and 20 something 30 something lawsuits against him and all the behavior that came along this off season in order to get there. So congratulations, big night for the Jacksonville Jaguars and their fan base. It is two pros the cup of Joe here on Fox Sports radio levar arrington Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox, who got in case you missed it coming up shortly. But for all the latest from around the world of sports, how about it? The great, the powerful, the one and only Edmund Garcia. Thank you, Jonas. We start with news from the NFL where Tampa Bay quarterback Tom Brady has left the team to handle what Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles called quote personal things. End quote bulls added that Brady's absence was discussed before training camp started and the Brady will return to the team after next week's preseason game against the Titans bulls also said he had a quote pretty high level of confidence end quote that Brady would be the starting quarterback week one against the Dallas Cowboys. You guys been talking about The Associated Press reports that Cleveland brown's quarterback deshaun Watson has proposed accepting an 8 game suspension and accepting a $5 million fine to avoid missing the entire season. The NFL has declined comment on that. Meanwhile, the Cleveland plain dealer reported that the browns will consider acquiring quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo if deshaun Watson 6 games suspension is increased significantly upon the appeal. Pre season football last night, the Giants beat the Patriots 23 21 on the last second field goal Daniel Jones did start at quarterback with the Giants. He was 6 of ten passing, 69 yards, no touchdowns in the receptions. And saquon Barkley saw some action at running back for New York as well with four carries for 13 yards. Mac Jones did not play quarterback for New England. The ravens beat the Titans 23 to 20, and they were Lamar Jackson at quarterback for Baltimore or Ryan Tannehill for Tennessee. We did see rookie quarterback Malik Willis, complete 6 of 11 passes, a 107 yards with a touchdown run. He had 38 yards on the ground as well. In baseball, the cubs beat the reds four two in the field of dreams game in Iowa. We had the Astros down in the rangers 7 to three. Houston's now 72 and 41 of the season is a move past idle New York for the best record in the American League guardians over the tigers four three and ten, Cleveland's won 5 in a row. They're a game and a half up on idle Minnesota for the top spot in the AL central White Sox are three and a half back and that's a central raise after losing to the royals 5 to three. Cardinals fall to the rockies 8 to 6 St. Louis's lead atop the NL central that a half game on item Milwaukee. The Marlins to have the Philly 7 game winning streak with a three zero win and the Red Sox knock off the Orioles four three Baltimore's a half game out of the final wild card spot in the American League. Now back to Brady Quinton and Jonas stocks in the Fox Sports radio studios. Thank you, Eddie, two pros and a cup of Joe here on Fox Sports radio. By the way, bad news for those of you that love the field of dreams games, not going to be back next year because of construction. How about it, huh? It's too bad. So no field of dreams game. And they're going to be doing construction. And so therefore what? What are they putting youth baseball fields in or something like that around there? Softball fields. Softball fields. So they've got to put that all together. That doesn't seem like it would be that hard to construct. You just tear down some corn and build some fencing. What's the problem? Am I missing something here? I don't know, but it's kind of odd that it seems like there's a lot of corn out there. They can't figure out like a different area to do it. Yeah, listen, you get a bunch of drunk farmers who make crop circles. Why can't these guys just figure this out? Lay the corn down, cut it off, and then just build a stadium, build some fencing. It doesn't seem like that difficult at all. What is that corn smoky?

"To have to wear it. Maybe immediately after, but at some point Barry's going to have to answer questions about it. I just don't see why this is worth it for them to put them out there and have them play when you know at the very least he's out 6 games. We know that's going to be increased. And so he goes out there and plays one game and then plays a couple of series and then sits for a couple of months. It just doesn't make any sense to me. I just think it's a bad look all the way around. I don't know. Look, the reality is, if they can plan, they're going to plan. Because that's what they brought them there to do. And I think they want to give their fans some hope. And they don't want them to look bad for bringing a guy who's not going to play the entire season. So if they can get them out there, they're going to get them out there because I think the Cleveland fan base has lived off the optimism for I don't know how long. But that's part of this. You've got yourselves a highly covered team all took was deshaun Watson and 20 something 30 something lawsuits against him and all the behavior that came along this off season in order to get there. So congratulations. Big night for the Jacksonville Jaguars and their fan base. It is two pros to come to Joe here on Fox Sports radio Lamar arrington Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox, we got in case you missed it coming up shortly. By the way, bad news for those of you that love the field of dreams games, not going to be back next year because of construction, how about it, huh? It's too bad. So no field of dreams game. They're going to be doing construction. Yeah, listen, you get a bunch of drunk farmers who make crop circles, why can't these guys just figure this out? Lay the corn down, cut it off, and then just build a stadium, build some fencing. It doesn't seem like that difficult at all. What is that corn smoky? What am I going to tell nobody else? What is that? What is that? What movie? Friday? Next Friday, Friday. Yeah, I knew that. Come on, man. From all that cool. I guess. Well, that's a different movie. Yeah. That's a different movie. And different context as well, you know? Yeah, that's true. Yeah, deshaun Watson would have been in on that. Oh jeez. Oh my God. God. But you think he gets booed tonight? If he does play, or you think people are gonna be like, yeah, whatever. I mean, it's in Jacksonville. I can't imagine that fan base is going to have a soft heart for him. Yeah, that's true. It was a hard, hard towels or something. I

"You're up with number three. Well, I'll just say really quickly about Jacksonville two. I actually like the ownership group there. I like the fact that it's a smaller market because small markets in the NFL typically have the most passionate fan bases because I grew up in Wisconsin and Green Bay. I love Green Bay, not as much to do as there is, and maybe an alloy, right? In LA, like you guys know, you both live in LA or in the California area. Like if your football team or your basketball team or whoever is not playing well, you just stop paying attention to go do something else pretty awesome. You go to the beach. If you're in Green Bay, Jacksonville Kansas City, Cleveland, like that's your life. And so your team's doing bad, what do you do? You just bitch about your team being bad and you still show up and you just get more passionate about firing the coach and this and that. So I think being a Jacksonville isn't necessarily a negative. I know some players might see it because they want to build their brand, which is something that juju Smith Schuster just came out and said, I want to go to a bigger market than Pittsburgh so I can build my brand, AKA, make more money with TikTok and YouTube and Instagram and blah blah blah. But in Jacksonville, I think SHAD Kahn has been a patient owner. He's got a ton of money. And I think he can build something good in Jacksonville. So my third favorite opening, I would say everything else is kind of like equal at that point. And I'll just run down quickly why I think that because the falcons have big salary cap problems. They'll do that. Don't do that. Nope, that's not the game. You pick the next open vacancy show. You don't just do a sweep of all the next available. I just want to steal all your takes. I'm going to say Texas. I'm going to give somebody, I'm going to give everyone a peek behind the TV curtain really quick. It is the worst thing when you're on a TV show. And somebody asks, who is the top quarterback going into this draft? So and so, and the person who speaks before you rip through the 7 reasons why the 7 available quarterbacks aren't it. And then, but the things that are also good about them, but why he's ultimately going with this guy. And then it gets to you and it was like, yo, you just talked about every day I'm quarterback. What am I supposed to say? That's why I'm spike the football on your face. And then was like, what do you think, buddy? No, that actually happened to me one time. It was like one of my very first Thursday Night Football games, and we were having Philip Rivers on in postgame because he just let his team back. They won. This was when I think they were even still in San Diego. So we're sitting there and I'm writing my notes and we're kind of talking to me, Steve Smith, Michael everyone we're talking, hey, what should we ask him when we have him on the postgame? Because just another peek behind the curtain, all these shows, they're planned. You have meetings. You talk about the topics, but in postgame, you don't know what you're going to talk about until they basically the game's over. You got about three minutes before the guy gets on set. So you're trying to huddle and figure out, all right, how's this three minute segment going to work? Well, we're all talking, and I was like, this is what I'm going to ask Philip Rivers, boom, boom boom. Everyone's like, yeah, okay, we got it. So we go, the producer says in my ear, okay, Joe, you're next, which is my cue that as soon as whoever's talking is going to shut up and it's my turn to ask Philip Rivers a question because otherwise you're just going to have people talking over each other like it's a Zoom meeting. And before I could say anything, Michael Harvick jumps in and he fucking steals my question from the rivers. And I'm like, I look at him like I swear to God, this wasn't live on air. I would tumble your old ass right here. And then, of course, the producers like Joe next. He says it again. Well, now I'm like pissed off at Mike. And so I can't think of another question, especially because he's just the only question that I was going to be able to ask. So I just sit there and then there's radio silence, and I'm looking at Philip and I just start bumbling over my words and I'm like, hello. How do you feel about winning the game and Philip looks at me like that's the best you could do? So that's just what I was trying to do to hawk. But he's a professional now. We're a couple media veterans that we won't let that happen. So for me, the Texans is the next best job. Why? Because they have deshaun Watson. When you have a young generational talent like deshaun Watson and an ability, if you want to be able to deal them, potentially, you can deal that player to the dolphins. You can get maybe a tua and another first round pick or a couple in return. You've got a lot of weapons and resources to be able to continue to build for the future..

"It's going to be a mission. It is a hedge fund that is the owner of the club. This couldn't happen in American sports. It's not him. So anyway, interesting. It is Taylor leash and Taylor mason. Taylor makes us feel good. Here's the, I mean, the policy thing is a conversation that may come up in the questions. I mean, it is kind of fascinating. There is a sense that they're going to invest there will be a transfer kitty, but for the overhaul to replace some of the bodies that are outgoing across that defensive line, there's a sense in football circles that it's sell to buy. And you look at the assets that Chelsea have. And there's not a lot of Werner is the one they'd love to move, but there's not a lot of people swooping in for Werner. And then you look at there's a sense of ZH. And politics is fascinating cases. You kind of want him if you're an American owner to you've got The Crown jewel of the American on the men's side of the American ecology and fascinated to see exactly what does go down, but right now it is all at a speculation and we can speculate more, but we should do it. By the way, I do want to mark this incredible moment. More than half the Premier League 20 teams next season, but the return of SHAD Kahn's Fulham for 38 games at least and Bournemouth being part owned by Chicago and Matt hull sizer means that half of the 20 teams have an American owner of American sharing in their leadership, which is incredible. Including four of the big 6, which, I mean, these are just incredible days to be fans from an American perspective on and off the field if you can't be the best of football by the best of football. And that's not just a Premier League thing. A.C. Milan's Syria glory was propelled by American owners, elite investment. Come on hedge funds. And it's going to be fascinating to watch this new ball era Chelsea. You really can look at the tea leaves in how we dealt with the Dodgers, massive investments searching for profit lines. It's going to be a fascinating to witness how the latter is achieved in English football, but for now a charm offensive by Todd, the easygoing, casually dressed, taking selfie with fans image of these clearly consciously decided to unfurl in contrast to the more kind of remote and aloof Roman. That is going to ratchet up, but at least I mean, we're raised this, but to Chelsea, a new era, as America's team, quit word on spurs day, very massive news today. We're genuinely happy news, I think I think fans are club's owners. Announced yesterday that they've invested a $188 million into the club summoning the cash via the issue of convertible a shares and the company warrants. I know listeners, when you think of rods, you think of someone who really understands convertible a shares in accompanying warrants, right, David. Yeah. But they didn't take any more equity in the club by doing it, which I think is was significant. So it's a genuine investment thinking that the investment is going to pay off more by putting this money into the team and having this wouldn't have happened, they not qualified for the Champions League. This is a result of getting fourth place and going into the Champions League. And yes, a 150 million is dwarfed by the 5.33 billion number at Chelsea. But that's not all going to get invested into players. It's not all going to a lot of work has to happen at that club Tottenham now have a more have a better cash flow than Chelsea because of the work they did on the stadium, the fact they get the NFL games there. They get a lot of concerts. They've got all those luxury boxes. And so Tottenham suddenly, from a few years ago, we were constantly mourning this the albatross around their neck of this new stadium. They are now and going into the COVID area. They're now looking really good. Yeah, just for listeners who are not on this green room, what they've meant by the albatross, it was in COVID time. They stadium at the very moment, football went fanless, and it was a dark moment, but now their fans can work the words, greater financial flexibility and the ability to further invest on them. Into a chant, I can't wait for that. Convertible bonds convertible bonds. And the company won't run. Anyway, I can't take no doubt happy man lighting cigars with cash tonight as he thinks about upgrading that squad across the board. I would love to see him spend all that money on Roberto salda Eric lamella Etienne capu and Vlad Kris, bring him back. So we got the money for it. One last headline from today lost I will say in the world being totally obsessed with that Europa conference thingy is Burnley have a new looking liking as manager and word from the English press is at von song company is in line to be appointed as the next Burnley manager he was let go by andale today he's been in charge since August 2020 club finished third this season in a Jupiter league, which is not good enough and japs Steinberg wrote a parting of ways suits both parties taking over Burnley would return a company and his family to a familiar part of England, his wife is proper Manchester, their three children were all born there, and it would be absolutely fascinating to really watch that story line play out. Let's pivot into questions. I can see the endorsement now. Just get your company car. At Dave fisherwick, minivans, minibus rentals and company cars. It doesn't know a lot about managing football, but when it comes to minibus rental London hi, I'm fonts.
