We've got sixteen more ago. This is tuesday already know monday yesterday. You watch the film. You flushes and tuesday you on next month so sell a little bit deeper here. Be worried about aaron rodgers commitment. Absolutely absolutely his commitment was on full display and what we saw is discouraging. Will we saw makes us doubt air rogers in this moment. And it's hard to doubt aaron rodgers because of his resume because of his greatness because of his response to adversity in the past. But this one seems a little different. Aaron rodgers looked despondent out there. He disinterested he looks like a guy who's just like you know what not so concerned with the consequences of today. That's how i read aaron rodgers and week one now. Aaron rodgers is now trying to tell us to calm down like there's no reason doubt him and i'm like erin. You put the ball in motion for us to doubt you if you would add. Clean quiet off season. Normal all season for aaron rodgers. Nobody's doubting you right now. But we're down to you because you put this ball emotion and wants to balls in motion and then the results from week one lineup with that. Same motion doubt your big dog. You don't wanna let us to this nasty ads brown water. We drink it in you mad at us. You want put us in this position and in this my sit and looking at you in this way. It's it's funny that players lotta times. 'cause we're such in a vacuum in a different world. Our life is moving at a different speed. I know that now always heard that then. But i know that now when you make the transition to the real world no matter how fast your life is not the same as being the nfl player. Let's talk about that scheduling. Let's talk about that organization. Let's talk about the structure that we all know is moving at the speed of light. And that's fine but a-rod rodgers has to know that when distractions inter. They're going to happen and they're going to happen faster. Even in the game of life eh. Rogers realizes that he put things in his way but he thought that his greatness overcome those things his way and then he got humanized then. He came to a realization after week. Okay and i have a few friends that have gone through bouts of depression which is connecting a few days bad days and two expression of depression and always tell him. Don't play with divorce. Don't play with death. Don't start talking. I don't care what happens to me. Calm down because what can happen to you is going to be consequential and when that consequence you can't come back from that aaron rodgers never get week one back. He can respond to it. But let's be lying to ourselves up here. Aaron rogers and his commitment is what led him to the failures of his performance. Take great-great-great take. I'm gonna take your words. "Welcome installation of espn afc down later on in the program. Native a new will be here to address off those many many many problems. Things up shack show plus look at franklin birth and julian. Ron exactly the right people to have on with the breaking news that apparently killian imbaba as an official offer from reality drink this was mark sewri earlier in the day opened the door for imbaba literally just before we went on air reports jewel saying that madrid have had a one hundred fifty million. Euro bid rejects. It that's why the associates for me as a hundred and sixty one zero rejected by. Psg because they really opened the door yet. I think the the reverend was kind of expected. Really the they've always said they don't want to this summer and this thing on the direction said no to that offer. They don't know from it will come back with a big bigger back to offer and keeping them. he knows. Nah rejected the offer relaxed. I think it would be happy to stay. We'll be happy to google. To club agree. Fee between now and tuesday when the transfer window closes but for now certainly i've said no to run madrid so kilian mbappe pay for the moment is ps g. But joe's there's another element all vase christiana renowned. Ooh suggestions are the kilian mbappe. It would be allowed to leave if she could get renaldo from eventers any truth in this so pg to saying that no print for this summer that that's not what they're going to do even if he goes and get all that money with a hundred and eight hundred two hundred million or whatever remedied will be ready to pay that. Cristiano is not what they would do with that money and there were reports in to their georgia. Mendes he's trying to get something with much city get it onto hurricane focus channeled to go there of course if mbappe believes you can just imagine jorge mendes. We'd be on the phone stray where to if another to try to bring christianity to paris. I'm north of this. This would be a good idea either. I'm not even macey. Wants you to be terminated jones fantastic and magic shore offshore it is. I'm not sure this it would be a lotta fun so just explain kilian mbappe as mindset gills. You say he's happy to stay happy to go. But surely this kind of offer and seeing all the attention the messy in namer of got reports are that it's five year deal still puts him as the third best paid at belt behind neymar messy. Is that inclination to leave. Going to increase between now and tuesday. Think so so. While we're being told is a he's not going to extend his contract now not for sure. He's happy to stay for the last year of his current contract with phd and play with them on may see and have fun three for one season but then he would go to remedy on free in time. This is much possibility right now. Maybe the most highly possibility all over the scenario that we're gonna talk about my now. This is one thing and this is currently the best thing. Because he's still at the club. If to find an agreement then he would go to madrid a year earlier remedied following money overseas to bring him nod and to wait another month and get on your food transfer but certainly he would also be happy to do that but certainly he would not extend his contract so really not remedied made. The first offer has been rejected if they come back with another of the corner like tennis much down to. If there's another offer either you leave him on a free nothing in taunton or you take the cash and catching on him. Whether that's one hundred and eighty two hundred million alive or remedy would be offering next if they do another offer. What would you do. Frank if i would wait wait i will. I will gamble. The thing that the fact is It's beyond pg's qatar. Qatar is one of the richest if he's not the richest country in the world. They don't have money. They don't care about that what they want is to make. Sure that they're toy biz. G. is going to get the champions league so was one of the best player out front to get it. If on top of each you have name on mri. It's right now. I'm bobby if it goes next year and you win the champions league nick summer you can go and you can get renaldo next summer. Just for marchandise purpose. And he's going to be fun but the of the day you wait you. Did they say gumbel. Because what's going to happen was reality this season. We don't know we don't know what's going to happen. So maybe about these stays. It works for the best for real madrid. Doesn't work very well. doesn't do anything special this season and then suddenly doesn't want to go to real madrid. Because he's going to be as successful as he would be if it stays up man so i think the wrist. I would say okay. You go for free season. We'll see we'll go to discuss next season but for now you say you play you. Make a sweet because you happy to stay with named on messy house. Zimbabe's head part of it must be turned a little in the sense that you find yourself now. Down the pecking order the attention. That you're getting you'd go to real madrid you'll the poster boy not only for the club but for the whole league And for a decade as well yep from here on now sure future long distance future as well and yet all of those things. If anybody in his circle of trump's i'd say killing him but you have an incredible opportunity to be part of something historic and that is playing in this front three. Allow yourself to be part of this and then whatever happens next year then we tackle then whenever that comes around but this is unique this once in a lifetime of thing that giving him by has an opportunity to do so. Don't on the fact that you're third in the pecking order. Don't even think about the pecking order because there is no pecking order. When you're talking about ed missy. Messy is and above everybody else and he was to be above everybody else. Anywhere in the world including psd. So don't don't pay attention to that nonsense. Pay attention to the fact that you're going to be part of this. This is something special. This is something unique. This is something that doesn't happen to everybody around the world and you have the chance to be part of this front three sale killing about this and then next year comes around you make that you need to make but if you killing pay showed the same situation next year as well actually still going to be name are still going to be there so then why you signing a new contract if this is the great opportunity if it killing imbaba you're not sending a new cadre. How you seeing that out and the truth is look at it. Two options that killian about behind in front of him right now play alongside nemov messy with pse and going to free transfer in twelve months time to the club that you've said all along you want to join or join..

"It's always dark and a house. One has a future in one has a feature. I'd like this touches on a whole lot of things. It makes me question where the hell sewri is. Living at the end like is that has house that maga comes to when he meets sewri and sary's wife and baby because it just feels like there's nothing in that house almost like it was abandoned and they just happened to be standing there. There is a line early on where sources come back to my home village site think. That's his home village in. That's and he's out are we. Don't know like what choices he made. So i can only assume that maybe have a like a home and home village. May he worked for his dad doing something but he's happened to be as other home but i'm not really sure. It was strange because i was under the impression that he was well off because he was working with his father. And i was expecting like Continue that like very clear. Delineation between the rich and the quote rich and poor. And they don't and it's like you know kind of speaks to something that we can have really mentioned but while this movie is about story in manga. It is very much mangas story. It is not souris story as much as it's mangas. Because we follow mangas story through. I would say the better part of the second act. I mean the second act the second. I almost the second and third acts pretty much. The second and third actor almost completely told from the following manga and how he goes to the conversion therapy. And then he's you know with ohio and that relationship sewri is just like he's just kind of off in the distance Like if it was a play you would see him standing at the very back of the stage or off to the side and like a window or something. he's not a substantive. Part of this film passed the first act which is an interesting choice because you would have thought there would be more things to mind by having the characters be kind of omnipresent throughout the story as part as opposed to one of them being the sole focus and the other one's just off doing god knows what even when they meet at the end. If feels like this is probably just a fashion of the time kind of thing. But the way that souris wearing that cap. And he's got the overalls on and they scott. Only one of the things done on the overalls. I was like taken back to the mall in the nineties. Type of thing like seeing kids where the one strap undone overall thing but to me. He kind of looks like a hobo. At that point of just like the fall on hard times i just was like what's going on because he's living his father's dream at that point right. He's i think still working for his dad. He probably went to university. He definitely has a girl and he's got a kid you know he's proven that he can conquer homosexuality so feels like he should be living on easy street but then yeah he's just in that like grass thatched house in super dim in there. But i guess maybe that's just his his village home versus his home home. It feels like his dad would probably wanna put him up in more of a bungalow. You know spencer you when you ask that question earlier about. Is the director camera. Have anything to say about homosexuality. As you being a provocateur. I think i've answered my own question as to why felt that because it's manga story and they don't share the screen because we don't see them share the screen very much passed the first act. I'm not sure what he's getting at. But he's not telling us the whole story because when manga shows up at the end of the movie he is home wrecking that families relationship. What he does. I understand that they're in love. I understand that there. You want to be together. But the way he plays it is so worry has not been a part of the story at all for almost forty five minutes and because of that it feels like that decision at the end is made quietly or in silence between the two characters and to me. It's like okay. I'm on board with. Why mangas making this decision. Sewri a little less so and because of that it falls a little flat when he shows up in stories like all right. I'm leaving like my wife and kids and my job like okay. She cries but she doesn't cry out. you know. She just gets upset that he's leaving. And i think she knows he's leaving forever but it's just quiet tears running down her face. She's not michelle williams thing it up and yelling and screaming at. He's ledger she's just like okay. I think it's almost like i knew this day would come and now it's here because the un another relationship with a white woman she knew of his struggles in like there's a part of where he's like i tried to. I want to stay clean. And so like clearly. The other like with their significant others. You know in their in their different therapies. Whatever they're like it's a very open this like discussions they're having enough of enough insight of like they're trying to have relationships with women and they can't do it can't bring himself do it. Sorry did apparently more than manga did presumably could have a very attractive milkman. Into the meat of amy and manga. Oh what the bug the praying mantis and the baby because it whole theme of his bb of lake them town of the parents sign them. A breed have children in the first time. The a maga meets the white woman. He will be elaine ship with She's with the baby and so it's very maternal. Motherly image of like change making a baby smile. And and so. It's like this very like again. Not subtle by very poet. Image of like this is life you can have. You can have a beautiful wife aching. Have a baby. Because that's what normal people have in quotation. Normal people will yeah and even him very early in the film manga telling story. I wanna have your children okay. That's an interesting way. Especially because they are kids themselves. At that point there may be eighteen. Probably graduating from high school. If feels like. But i've never loved anyone enough to tell them. I want to have their baby goes. We'd never really en-.

"Because it cuts the city in a gravestone. And it's like oh shit is his mom dead. That's like oh no this new characters. yeah and she's very tied to his mother that she's even pushing her wheelchair. I'm like okay. So i guess she's kind of the moms caregiver now. This is interesting so and then it's very. Yeah no you should meet my son. He's perfect for you and they're just pushing that this relationship happens. The whole angle of like the force relationship is like every time. I want to get more tragic because like you see. He is trying so hard and and like i'm not sure if you guys suspected it fall apart like every time i see it. I know it's gonna fall apart is always feel so sorry for For new every single time. Yeah i feel very bad for her when they have. That aborted lovemaking scene. Because she's trying her best. I like that scene where she's standing in front of the mirror kind of evaluating yourself valuating her press and just kind of taking stock of herself before she goes forward with this relationship and that they have this attempt to have sex and he keeps flashing over to memories of hand. Sorry and at one point. She's just like yup. I'm getting no reaction here. What house going on and that amazing line when she gives up and says visit. I thought you weren't going to wear dress anymore. Oh okay. I don't know if that's just like a colloquialism or what's going on. I interpreted as a colloquialism she he. She says that you'd promise you never wear address and yeah. I interpreted it as a very interesting colloquialism that i had never heard before. Maybe it's not that but that scene that moment it could be the translation of this. I i know a little bit of french. I know enough. That can follow like certain. Like if i hear french movie i can. Maybe follow like a sensor to in there there a couple moments in this real like. I realized how much french light kind of new kazlas lives apart. Were Souris dad is telling him no. You're the best but the word frenchies better so it's like That's all we are translation. Ace they they switch it. That and then another points on french says some. You're better than this but they don't but these different words so know this translation is kind of interesting of like what they chose to Youth in english over you like direct translation their stuff about bracelets and hair that i wasn't necessarily following like she she puts on a bracelet and it's got words on it and i wasn't sure what the word said before she says the beach no I wou puts on a bracelet. Like as they are about to part ways before she says. Don't forget about me at thought. There were words on there and then yeah for sure when they're on the beach and i think it's like his mother. Mangas mother says to him. You're no longer my son. You banished forever but then she buys a bracelet and does that bracelets say take care of my son or is this just her saying that to him. I wasn't following. It was the one that says. Take care of my son okay. The bracelet that she buys that that the mother buys okay and then she says this is for sorry the leap from her rejecting her son to accepting him is. It's strange but at the same time. I i buy it. 'cause like she's the parent who's more open minded and cheese more. Shed have much better life like see like her. There's not much going on. In like she clears lose her son and so on some level. I don't think she believes what she's saying but she also i think she just wants to have some some later with her son. 'cause like there's you know what will given like. There's not much of her having personal life or relationship with anyone the way i interpreted that. Because it'd be yeah you're right my goes from. You're no longer my son. You're banished forever to the next seed. They go to the bracelet. Vendor the way i interpreted. It is is just like look at. You're not my son anymore. You're banished forever. But i cannot completely send you out back into the world without this putting this energy back to you to give to him him him big story. It's a very weird cognitive dissonance thing. Like but like you hear about it with kids that come out to their parents and you hear about the parent being like you know. You're not my fucking kid anymore but like still care about you. It's just different now. That's the way i interpreted it again. That's me viewing at the very different leads in. The film is being made through but trying to find a closer analog for personal experiences of myself and others. it's interesting it a common thing and it is a sad and upsetting thing. But at the same time it happens and renting. It's i'm glad that they you know. The director captured it. Pretty pretty simply. Frankly reminded me of polly given henry. That what one hundred and sixty dollars. Who's like not gonna combat. That's exactly what it is. It's that exact like now. Go away forever. But here's like here's my little partying. So that i don't leave you out in the cold right. There's that moment kind of going back a little bed where mangas going these trying to go to the factory. There's the stuff going on about like his fish in the prices and he wants to make more money and like i said the father of sewri is the one that owns his fish factory. And surrey's working there that whole thing of the father trying to keep mongo away from sorry. It's like a screwball comedy for like. Five minutes is just dropped in here with him running down the stairs and the way that he you know mr x. Sewri and like puts his arm around him and walks up the other way it was just like where is this coming from. I enjoyed it. But i was just like wow. I didn't expect the movie to go walkie for a few minutes. There some comedy here and there but that that's like the route link like if you like it was written as they at the county seen yet almost felt like a french farce for a few minutes. There like puerta and not subtle. The thing is the class aspect of one is poor one is Rich in stresses in a suit and dress very western. His home is always lit with lamps and electric lights. It reflects brilliantly on both of them for muga ruth to be able to fend off that many and foot uber not to get discouraged and disheartened that she wasn't taking those opportunities and as you said to create more. Yeah i thought she was amazing. And i loved as you said david the fact this was her centre court debut as well. I just think it's so cool to see players who've been around for quite a while. Now we've known about unser per go. Onto tennis's biggest stage in many ways sent accord at wimbledon and just be introduced to that audience. And i think the great thing about j. Burr is when you learn about her as a tennis player will see her as a tennis player. For the first time you also getting this amazing insight into chipper the person because in her own words. Her game reflects her personality and her character. You know she says. I hate routine and i hate rhythm and play tennis like that and that just comes across and i think crowds really connect with her. I think we saw that on center court. Today she She said it means a lot especially so many arab people watching me supporting me. I've received a lot of messages from different people. It's amazing but i don't want the journey to stop here. I want to continue or what she achieved at. The end was one of the most moving things. I've seen in tennis court because when she was serving for that marriage and win the nerves were starting to jangle. She walked to the back of the court right in front of our common shoebox and vomited in the corner of the court and couldn't couldn't handle the the moment physically. I mean she did but but it overcame her for a second and she was down a haunches and very she was trying to be very discreet about it. But this happened in the corner of the court just ahead of matchpoint and she got up and she served it out. And it's just. I mean annaba crafters in the contra box alongside me with tears and rice us just so moved by this site and and the crowd were as well because i think not everybody could see this and You know to the volket just moved to the right so that you're not standing. No why i will he said. Could you move so that you sort of covering it. I think it was a way for me. Yes oh so it was just there. It was the the area where the vomit was right. Where the kid would have been standing. Right i thought the umpire was asking the bulky to sort of straddle. the vomit she left about on. Your bed is well. She didn't make some dance about this. Say i want to see a train. She didn't she didn't mention it. She didn't make a meal of it she just got up and accepted. It accepted that that's how she felt for a few seconds and then still went and served it out. I mean i'm my my admiration from for her is just without limits. Yeah totally and she was asked about it in a press conference and they said are you okay. And she said yes. I just need to vomit sometimes just need to vomit. But she did point out that. This is not unique to today. She says she has got some stomach issues which she's trying to improve and it does happen to match that she that when she's nervous whatever bowl she's drank or whatever doesn't doesn't stay down and comes back up again and she's dealing with this as a as a sounded like a fairly regular thing on calls and just like you day when i was. I was amazed at how she managed to do that. And then you look so nervous in that situation and then play completely. No of louis matchpoint which was an incredible sequence of events as she thinks she finished it with a four hundred win. It was extraordinary and she has. She has his way of just sort of planting fate and just swiping the ball away and as you say then just fell flat on her back. I mean that was a title winning moment. Okay it was only the third round but for her. This is uncharted territory. And she's done it against a former champion and a former world number-one she will play egot field tech necks. she beats arena community bagels. Six one six love in under an hour today. She was done before midday extraordinary. Just absolutely crushed hour and a half before senecal even stoves. It shouldn't take was in the shower and it so interesting because she admitted herself prior to wimbledon that she was really struggling on the grass. So not comfortable on it yet. I think would be. Let's say and then she was asked here. But you one. Junior wimbledon in you know you must have some comfort on it and she said well i only one junior wimbledon a because i was just better than everyone in the draw and more developed an older so it was just didn't really matter what the surface was. It was just my tournament and be. Because i was so pissed off that i hadn't won the junior wrote on garrels just just a few weeks before and i sort of channel all that energy into wimbledon. And i'm kinda thinking. Maybe she's doing the same thing here. Maybe she's really annoyed with what happened. Vote on losing to secretary in the quarterfinals and she's just come to wimbledon said determined to ruthlessly crush everyone again magnificently mercilus she. She came and did an interview with us on five. Live and and honestly everybody loved that. "Now there is always an exception to the rule. And to- proc could very well be that exception. If i were yamaha i would give it a try. I mean they could always make a deal where he comes to petronas for one year and if he doesn't like it then he can go straight back to world superbike. They'll save a seat forum. I mean because he's in house. There are many different ways they could structure the deal to make it work best for him and i think it's worth pursuing it selfishly. I want it to happen. Because i just think it's fun to say 'to proc road scott leo glue on a regular basis Another writer whose name was kicked around immediately after the rumors came out on. Saturday is another world superbike guy and one that was currently filling in for franken morbidelli last weekend and asset. That's the american garrett girl off and his name very likely will be on the list because after all he's been yamaha's goto over the past five or six months when it comes to a film writer he was gonna fill in for valentine rossy. Didn't need to in the end. But then he filled in for franken morbidelli. will that translate straight to a motor. Gp gig well. I'm not really sure. And i don't think that's going to happen with the factory team. I think possibly with petronas if frankie moves up mean obviously there's potential there or else yamaha wouldn't be giving him these opportunities. He's really been digging hard and trying to learn. In the limited time he's had on a motor. Gp bike and i think that door no would kick him resources to help make it happen to help facilitate in one way or another because it's very important to them to have a us rider on the grid. And so if there's somebody who has the talent level like eric girl loft does then. I think that they would help encourage and help move that long. I would love to see this. That's a bit of a home or comment on my part. But i will admit that there is a pretty long line of other candidates in front of garett girl off so i'm not gonna hold my breath at this point just going to be hopeful that it's somebody that yamaha seriously considers. There are some other writers though that may seem a little bit unconventional at first. Those riders guys like calcutt low current yamaha test rider. Or how about andrea david. Co so now over them read it. Diogo sewri posted a linked to an article mentioning v as a possibility for yamaha. And i'm gonna go ahead and lump cal. Crutch slow into this discussion as well and you know with a bevy of young talent out there. Some of which we've already mentioned. It would be very easy to dismiss both of those riders. But i wouldn't entirely mean as jug bridge replied to diogo. There are some reasons. The yamaha may choose to go the route of the old guy or bringing the old guy back because remember next year is silly season market is going to be way bigger than this one. A lot of riders coming off a two year contracts next year so a veteran like cal or dobie could fill the spot nicely for yamaha and a pinch and then they could turn it around and use it to their advantage and make that seat more about development. That's easy to do when you've got a guy like fabio on the other side of the garage going after wins and a championship Cal would put a british rider back on the grid just like garrett girl off that something that dorner would get behind because they want a british rider back on the greatest like they want a. Us rider on the grid and dovy would give them a very popular very marketable writer and they can have a bit of a reunion to close out his career. So yeah i by the rumors with dovy that at least there's some thought that's going on there because i honestly don't think either one of those guys are that far fetched but only only as a stopgap one year solution and even with a temporary move like that. Yeah you gain options in the next silly season cycle. But like miller's tasker was saying earlier you also vastly increase your chances that you drive away. Franken morbidelli because of it and you need to be prepared for that. You need to have a real game plan if you're going to do that now. Ultimately i think that racing armchair is right going with an older rider. Light cow like dovy doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Although i would add unless there is something specific that yamaha things they could gain from that one season whether it be in development sense. Or maybe you know. They think they can get joe amir or alex. Rinse or somebody like that. If they just wait one more season otherwise yeah move on get a young rider somebody in there to either push fabio and challenge him or it'd be ready to step up if there's a stumble on fabulous us part and on a bit of a side note since we're talking about andrea video so a little bit here tattoo driven asked if dole the ultimately made the right decision dragging his feet with appropriate therefore opening the door the maverick and maybe encouraging him to go explore some other options. I don't know. I don't know if he did himself a favour or not because probably it was clearly his best shot to return to the motor. Gp grid. They absolutely wanted him for next season before they knew that maverick was available. So i think that andrea reduces his chances significantly overall of getting back on the grid but if he had some conversations with yamaha that we are privy to. Well then maybe. He's being slide like a fox. Maybe he was being coy with apprecia- because he knew the maverick was about to quit and that probably will really want him and then maybe he would encourage appropriate against him so he can slide in behind. Maybe take the petronas seat or the factory. Yamaha seat for twenty twenty two. I know i'm stretched ended out there pretty far. But he got to explore every option in a weird situation like this. And then mr t. Brought up one more ryder. I had honestly not considered yet. What about me lavera. I know i mentioned him earlier. He's not yet signed off his current one year. Deal like brad bender already did. Could he be on the radar. And that's a genuinely intriguing idea..

"Know to be a teenager and go from this incredibly affectionate relationship to this kind of like friendly warm but cold like they also kept their house really cold so there was this physical manifestation of the warmth that i didn't have any more from my mom and remember the first night sleeping. There was so fucking cold. I've never been colder in my life. And i just got all my pajamas on. Put a sweat suit on top of that all the blankets on the bed just under this weight and just not being able to sleep because i was so cold which like read into that. Whatever like yeah. It was very weird and my mom actually got incredibly afraid that i was depressed at that time and look she. I remember her thinking that. I was going to kill myself which wasn't even on my mind at all but i think to some degree i really numbed out then and just really like when i was with my friends i really came alive and then when i was at home i just kind of like was a bit of an automaton and just like did my homework and talk to my friends on the phone and like was a teenager almost sounds like a boarding house. Yeah it was. It was like a boarding house and actually it was a university student who also lived there so there was this also like other stranger who lived there but he had his own basement suite. And i didn't really run into these people. Were friends of your mom. Yeah like a married couple with a young son and they were really good people. And i think as today i think i really just projected an incredibly together outlook definitely wouldn't have hinted and i think that's something i do is push it down and numb out a little bit and then it comes up later like way later like the way later. Welcome all yeah the lack of wall. And i am at the time my mom had after i'd lived there for about three months. My mom like really called me in a panic and said she thought i was in a in a really depressed state and that i needed to come like she'd moved to lloyd minster which is just a in the next province over. It's garbage city. Sewri minster i hate you I think lloyd mister terrific. I yeah boo. Everybody would minister. That makes me crazy. That's lloyd the minister. You know i don't know. My mom had an act. Who lloyd the minister. It's just a weird coincidence. But what happened. After that is that i had to take a greyhound bus every other weekend. Too late minster and just like spend. It wasn't depressing enough. Yeah right just to stem the depression. Go in this shit town. Where i didn't have any friends every other weekend. Bring a magazine about global warming. Yep just to hit the trifecta. But i still had rumbles of that kind of fear. But it wasn't what it is now. At the time i was still dislike homework teenager dome my so called life. You know stuff. i'm not. I'm not really convinced that i was depressed at us. My mom thought. But i do think that i kinda bummed out and that my mom's perceptive enough to pick up on it like late like in the last two years i had like a real moment of intent sadness around the fact that i didn't fight for a different outcome of that moment like like why didn't i just tell them if i would have said to my mom outright like it's not a great time for me to have you leave. You should do your your relationship long distance at least for a year instead of sending like having doing me long distance Regret saying doing me but anyway But i never fought for it. I rolled over on that instantly. I was just like okay. If that's what's happening. But i think as a teenager there's like i was such a kid. I think you have that much agency your own life as a child most kids don't don't you assume that the adult knows what's best. Yeah sometimes i think the adult doesn't really want and i'm gonna say in this case with your mom but sometimes the adult wants to exploit the fact that they know their child isn't going to speak up for themselves. I can't tell you how many times i've heard somebody say Well do you want me to break with his boyfriend. Who's who's who's abusive to. You can't tell you how many times i've heard that. And they couldn't so then. The kid feels the guilt. They feel like they've sentenced. So and i'm sure in the parents mind. They think they're probably giving that kid an option but in the back their back back back of their mind. They know what their child to answer is going to be and they wanted to just alleviate their guilt seriously seriously i mean i know i know for a fact that my mom really struggled with her choice to move. I think that even as she was doing it she's like i regret this already. I have the strong relationship with my daughter. And like what am i doing but i know that she really felt that she needed to do it. And that was where. I kind of trusted her to do. What's best for her. And it's like if this is the path that we're on. I need to just see that through and she done so much for me. I always been there for me so much. I don't think that i wanted to be the one to say like. I don't think this is a good idea. This is too hard on me. Because i know how deeply she feels that kind of thing and that she really has the steep need to like keep me safe protect me and like do things that are appropriate for mothers to do with daughters but like we have a deep connection and her knowing that she would hurt me would be so devastating for her. That this is weird. Repeat loop of us kind of protecting. Have you ever talked about it with her. His years later ish. I mean. I think she's talked about it with me a lot but Just brushed it off. No i mean i'm willing. I'm absolutely have been willing to hear her experience of it. But i think i. I'm still a bit uncomfortable with talking to her about my feelings about it. Because i think it will hurt her really bad and i know that she's capable of handling that but i'm also uncomfortable with confrontation. So it's a win win. You feel like you'd like to carry other people's pain. Oh yeah let's do it. Give me your tired masses yearning to breathe free. And i'll just drag them around. Yeah no i. I definitely have set myself up in many situations in life to absorb other people's bad feelings and it's just like all carry. That makes you feel better. And you know you can kind of pat yourself on the back for being this like you know this florence nightingale thing like my first relationship. I was really like all your so depressed. That's so appealing to me. For some reason. Who later you find out that you let them down and you let yourself down because you didn't allow women grow and you didn't grow up. What a win. It's so hard to know when helping somebody has become enabling to know that totally. But but then. After that. I i didn't live with that anymore and moved in with my dad. And my stepmom for a couple of years and my purpose in.

That it's a clear name and then even that point like Like in season one of liking like we do that like like lightning disappeared for for a long time. Like you have to wonder like this. Jefferson webs had looked at positive feedback from social media like were black. Lightning now disappeared from the east too. Yeah yeah that's a good point point and then speak because of that that the jefferson being gone. We see a bias I realize that we saw in the first season and now with this season we see the bias. Maneuvering the the local politics and gangs to you. Basically position himself. German from there. Well have you read a lot of the superman comics. Have i i. Yeah I i know like like as she remained storyline. Were were were Where they're present present against president like super familiar with that but the congressional. This wasn't let let let west using you tamla how far they were divided as mayor sewri lining in even scam blake have had net mayor Lex luther ex-prisoners little too. Yeah that's yeah. I mean i definitely something. That's definitely especially given that. We have the painkiller spinoff coming.
"sewri" Discussed on Habits and Hustle
"It up comes from stein of you know. Everyone's a genius. Why we call genius. Everyone's everyone genius. But if you judge your you know if you judge a fish by its ability to crime at climate tree it will spend its whole life believing that it's stupid and we're nine cents said that. I think that you know we like birds trying to be lions when lions trying to be giraffes where giraffes trying to be zebras with zebras. Sewri everyone in england zebras. I've been learning. You might be fish with fish. Trying to be dea. Like imagine a imagine. A lion wanted to be a bird. The bird would be late and the bird wants to be a line. It makes no sense like that's can fly. Lions con lions war and and create king of the guess buds and off but they both actually strengthen superpowers. And so not recognizing your own strengths and superpowers is the biggest mistake. You may give you look at superheroes in marvel movies. They all have their unique origin story in that unique strengthen their unique superpower. And that's what makes an amazing team not that they can all do the same thing. A commodity if every character had the blades walgreen had how interesting with that right will be the most boring thing of all time or if every character like laser from there is you'd be like oh how boring this. That's the amazing thing that each and every one of us have a superpower and the way we discovery. I thought really basic questions. When you do an activity ask yourself. Did i like that. Yes we'll no off the oscar. What did i like about it and third question is why did i like it. Not like it. If you start doing that off to every small activity you will learn so much about yourself because how do you get self-awareness knowing yourself. How do you get to know yourself by spending time with yourself. What's the best way of spending time with yourself asking yourself questions. You only learn about some austin. You're asking me questions jennifer. That's why you're learning about me. And if i don't ask you questions back learn about you and so asking questions to yourself in so when you watch a movie oscar did i like it or not. Yes or no. What did i like about it. Break down the plot structure the character the acting. What did you like mardi good question. Why did you like it. Why and when you do that with every activity take that tweet. Second three question check you find that your stop goes to the roof now at a deep level self awareness is growing when you're exposing yourself to more ideas so you may say to yourself all i'm i'm not a good writer but you've never tried to write. You never been on a writing. Course you've never been exposed to you. Might say i'm not a good director. You've never tried a direct to if you've never tried if you've never been educated and that's the key question it's not just have you tried. It's have you been coached. Have you been guided and people. I was just to give example. I was so shy.
Booing The President, What Goes Around Comes Around Politics And al-Baghdadi's death
"Trump was at the game last night where he was greeted with boos when his attendance was announced during the game accord the Washington Post the crowds sustained booing hit almost one hundred decibels and was followed by chance of lock him up impeach trump when he was introduced after the third inning he good morning and welcome to morning Joe it is Monday October twenty eight and with us we have MSNBC contributor Mike Barnicle White House reporter for the Associated Press Jonathan Lemere president of the Council on Foreign Relations and author of the bulk a world in disarray Richard Haass columnist and Associate the Washington Post David Ignatius and former NATO Supreme Allied Commander Retired Four-star Navy Admiral James to Rita's he's chief international security and diplomacy analyst for NBC News and Msnbc it was sort of startling and sad to hear those chance of lock him up Saturday from the crowd I do no pleasure in that it really was there have been many traditions that have been brought about Donald trump and his supporters and people around that are UNAMERICAN of even fascist like a chance of lock her up the sent her back but the lock lock her up about Hillary Clinton repeatedly has become a centerpiece and that's what that's what dictators they take over and then they start talking about imprisoning others and it's un-american it's it's here here playing chant here aw that's that's unfortunately it's been fad to America's political system through Donald Trump and last night it was turned against him it but again it's it's it's un-american and the people in the stands that were doing it last night shouldn't have done it in fact they learned they have learned from Donald Trump that's what you do to political opponents I hope that Donald Trump after saying that he could be facing this entire campaign will cut it out we'll cut it up because this is I remember when Barack Obama was leaving office a lot of liberals wanted George W Bush tried by some international tribunal. I remember saying don't do it because it will be you on the other side of the presence he didn't have to worry about retribution from person that you follow yeah of course you don't you never think Mike Barnicle nobody everything's said anybody's ever going to follow them as president the United States when they first get in just like Donald Trump it's never he's never imagined it but live by the sword die by the sword and sure enough now you have donald trump having bar conduct an outrageous an outrageous investigation against Barack Obama and Donald Trump even calling the forty fourth president United States treasonous it's like this guy is just not smart enough to figure out that it goes around comes around and what he dishes out to others will be dished out to him that's why everybody has to tone it down stop chance stop with fat stop with fascists like tactics and the rhetoric it's just on I'm American and it's just not right yeah Joe and you know if you know this I mean most people know this what of people in this country just want the entire situation calmed down they want the country to come down they want candidates to come down be tough to have the crowd last night come down because really into it unfortunately but I think it's important going forward especially today as we talk about the events that occurred over the weekend that we take the time and the fought to separate it donald trump and whatever you feel about Donald trump to separate him and how he behaves in how he speaks from the actions of the Delta Force team the special operation now flew in and conducted that mission is to separate things and the best of the best of who we are and what we do around world's in why so much of the world still relies on this was in operation over the weekend Jonathan Lemaire you can speak to that but also last night yeah I mean it is certainly an American tradition to boo politicians who go to baseball games there's there's a rich history of the American president seeing the American pastime William Howard Taft was the first president throwing the first pitch I remember the Barco was there and every president since has at some point this accident has not yet not since taking office but he went last night I think the people around him we're hoping it could be part of the victory lap after announcing the death of album Dotty earlier in the day that of course was not the case but let's remember he's deeply deeply unpopular in the district of Columbia itself received about four percent of the vote there in two thousand sixteen obviously it's a little bit of a different crowd last night the world series it's more out-of-towners more corporate types still he was going to get booed and he was but certainly it comes at the end of what his administration feels like a a a significant watershed day for him to be able to make this announcement of the death as Mar Mike said you could separate the president and feelings towards him with what happened the day before in Syria this leader of Isis killed this is just gives president an image he thinks to put alongside President Obama's announcement of the death of Sama Bin Laden and it certainly comes at exactly the right time his people feel for it's an undeniable triumph to happen during the midst of the impeachment inquiry and it allows him to defend his Bryant C. and Syria just somebody Republican senators critical we know we're here we can we get we're GonNa get to that right now get Sewri obviously just follow pro Jonathan said there is a very long enrich fish presence it sporting events most of them do all different but now but again I speak to the lock him up chance again I it's just un-american it started with Donald trump in fact he's made it the centerpiece of his campaign rallies we find it sickening when it happened rallies Kinda sickening it's we we are Americans and we do not do that we do not want the world hearing has chant lock him up to that he created this president or any president that's all I'm saying let's hope is move forward maybe this one US fascist tactic he and his supporters us during chance that you were going to actually imprison your political opponents so let's evatt behind and just I don't we'll see we'll see if the astros possible going to finish it off in Houston I don't know if Max can pitch game seventy it's possible that's what she will tell me before we came but I said President Trump yesterday confirmed the death of Isis later Abu Baqer al-Baghdadi following a raid this weekend in northwestern Syria by US special operations forces president trump tease the announcement in the tweet on Saturday night writing quote something very big has happened God I know by the way they had not confirmed it happened at the time as the Washington clown show post points out the White House script on the death of brutal terrorist Abu Bakar Al Baghdadi was short but president trump turned a somber announcement into a vivid forty minute news conference that included bravado detailed descriptions of military option rations questionable statements and self promotion from the first day I came to office and now we're getting close to three years I would say doc where's al-Baghdadi I want al-Baghdadi and we would kill terrorist leaders but they were names I never heard of they would names it weren't recognizable and they weren't the big names some good won some important ones but they weren't the big name I kept saying where's Al Baghdadi and a couple of weeks ago they were able to scope amount you know these people are very smart than not into the use of cell phones more than not they're very technically brilliant you know they use the Internet better than almost anybody in the world perhaps other than Donald Trump but they use the Internet incredibly well and what they've done with the Internet through recruiting and everything and that's why he died like a dog he died like a coward he who is screaming and crying and frankly I think it's something that should be brought out so that his followers and all of these young kids WANNA leave various countries including the United States they should see how he died now Admiral S- Ravidas ah yeah we'll we'll see we'll get to the the strategic importance of what we get to but again just underlining un-american language and and the sound of tyrants again he died like a dog died like a coward upbringing screaming it's just can you please explain to maybe three of Donald Trump supporters who fist when they hear that the downside of that ny the forty four American presidents who preceded him did not talk about casualties on the ward even if they were the most heinous casualties like Osama bin Laden are are are you name it or Japanese opponents at war are not cease why we we didn't talk that way or Qaddafi in Libya for example In every case Joe the problem here is there's is that internal desire to kind of take victory lap but it's counterproductive it comes across as unprofessional it's spiking the ball in the end zone and here's the real problem it's motivational for the other side make an argument that it's a deterrent I don't think so I think that that tape will be played particularly that image of the dog in the Arab world is well known as as an extremely negative and that'll become a recruiting tool that the Islamic state uses on the Internet and for the record I'd say they're better than Donald Trump there managing apparently to conduct a global operations without owning a shred of territory in Easter after we took away the caliphate from them which was another good accomplishment they still conducted a massive attack in Sri Lanka using the Internet to recruit proselytizing conduct the operation they will use this footage to motivate their followers to recruit more. It's really not how we WANNA play the Yes it is it is actually a much smaller level it's what you call basically press clippings from from locker from for locker uh-huh where somebody on the other side said something you cut out the press clippings you put it up and you used to inspire other people in something we don't want here let's let's let's let's go Richard Haass go to and talk about the impact of the death and we'll we'll get into some of the other things I obviously I remember us being celebrating at least most Americans Saar cow was killed I believe it was in two thousand six two thousand seven thinking that the guy that really was the inspiration for Isis and of course that just lead to more silence splinter groups we of course all celebrated we had our on the deck of the Missouri moment a little bit when Osama bin Laden was killed and two thousand eleven we're all cheering but of course out of that came the rise of Isis and so I'm wondering it's we see very important death but do we make the same one man is going to end the movement that he was so successful in spreading the short answer is yes there's no such thing as decapitation when comes to dealing with terrorists because whether you call them networks of movements they're not narrow organizations that are highly structured we're getting rid of the leadership essentially Abel's all the fighters they'll they'll reform they may splinter and so forth decentralisation there in formality in some ways is is a degree of strain so I think we've got to keep the accomplishment as meaningful as it is in perspective and more important justice important you've got to take steps back and say are we putting ourselves in a position where we can do this sort of thing again and again as we will need to do and there I think the jury's out or you've got to say it's going to become much more difficult we're not gonNA have the forces on the ground collecting the intelligence we're not gonNA have partners like the Syrian Kurds and other Kurds doing so much there's still questions about the willingness of this administration to work closely with its own intelligence community so again yesterday was an important day but we shouldn't exaggerate it and I'm really worried about going forward whether we're going to be able to repeat this because we're going
Ellen DeGeneres leaves Sarah Paulson in hysterics after series of scares
"Had fun this week preparing for Sarah Paulson to come back. Kevin how much did it cost? I don't do the numbers dead. You spend the numbers some fun ideas. Paid for him. Yeah. We had a wonderful producer name, Melissa scientists, Sarah and she came up. We've scared her first of all we scared her in every way we've ever scared anyone on the. Yes. Ellen in the bathroom at the scare table behind. Her built a special box could scare her during five second rule. So listen, I've been to the house with her when we sent her house. Yeah. So let's camp with some really crazy ideas to scare her. That seem insane. We actually dug out a tunnel underneath Ellen's your idea member that was Mary's idea. I'm hearing now. Dug a tunnel under Ellen's chair, basically. So that Sewri a sub flooring flooring. Well, if you notice the platform of of what we call home base, which is where Ellen chairs are you have to take a couple of steps up to get to them. So there's gotta be some room underneath a little bit of room. So they cleared out some some boards, and we made a tunnel. So Corey could crawl from backstage into that box after Ellen showed her that it was empty. So we open the table to show, Sarah. There's no one in the table to scare right? Then we'd close the table and somebody crawls you guys you guys know what we are suddenly we're kinda like magicians, it was a lot like a little like look there's nothing here. And then suddenly Elissa had an absolutely shame. What to do a ninja dropping from the sky to scare Sarah Paulson? It was so fast. And so startling. It was and the what you really you have in your mind. What you hope that will be. And this didn't disappoint great. So if you wanna see that go check, your DVR's, and and check out this show because because we're podcast, even if we play a clip of screaming, you can't see how it happened. But we're going to play a clip here's quip of screaming. God. Can I open it up? There's nothing in here. Nobody in there guys know what they like to do. Right. Go to yourself now. I'm scared. I know any just scream I did know I saw you look at tiny bit over my shoulder like something happened via nothing's happening. So you do impressions. And you're really good at accents impression. So we're gonna play heads up because you like heads up. Right. I do love ice game. And I like your impressions to I didn't know. I saw you on Jimmy Fallon me doing who. Are you doing Barrymore? Maybe yet. You're just good at impressions. Thanks. All right. So I'm gonna guess who you're doing. And no this. This part. It out. I'm saying play Andy. Okay. All right. This is fun. Okay. Okay. Oh. I don't I come do this very well. But I'm doing all kinds of poses in anonymous staged. Let's go accent NAMA stage. I am yet. Does I have no idea? Oh, I'm round. If you own. What am I doing here on how they really would like to offer some kind of of this Wade we accent? I'm doing a vanity Benji thing with the tool with lots of already. But I don't know who you are. I'm not supposed to be passed and it's an accent. Okay. It's It's not to get. supposed to get. I don't know if it's all right? Let me tell you something. The whole. I wanna say that looks like sit down. All right. Creative. We have to. I know we had to build tunnel and. That's why I was able to it was empty and then he came in during the commercial break.
Why grounding 737 MAX jets is a big deal for Boeing
"Britain, Singapore and destroy earlier have become the latest airlines to ground Boeing seven three seven max airplane after two deadly crashes in the past five months in the latest on Marsh, the tense virtually new Boeing seventy seven max airliner crashed near Addis Abba within minutes of taking off killing all one hundred forty nine passengers and eight crew aboard in October last year, a similar crash kills one hundred and eighty nine people in the sea off Indonesia, the crushes raise questions about the safety of the American aircraft makers top-selling planes. Charles read, the economists travel blogger caliber has been following the story. Charles, obviously, the superficial similarities between these two crashes alarming, but we're still waiting for the authorities to review the black boxes and give a ruling how unusual is it for countries to ground planes before that ruling has come when it has happened before two in twenty fifteen with Boeing seven eight seven there Republicans with bury the an lithium ion batteries on that plane and painter grounded for free months. The I think the big difference is Vert those bat trees and didn't cause any fake lack since at which which killed passengers whereas the possible problems which caused these two crashes have killed quite significant numbers of people. And if we look at new playing types in general, you planes, don't tend to crash so not only to have one two crashes of neuro playing is rather worrying. Whether or not at this. They've crashes because by the same problem, what is the company bearing itself saying about this and what about its own domestic regulators in America bearing hasn't said much safer. I mean pulp because it's raw the busy trying to scramble to find out. What's what's gum wrong? It says it's providing technical assistance to the authorities. It's promised to launch a new software update by next month, which should ensure that the same problem which occurred on the lion air crash in Indonesia last year shouldn't reoccur, but that's fee at the PR machine has has shut down in the at. They were going to launch the new aircraft new long-haul aircraft called the seven seven x tomorrow, and that was canceled because and they have Bravo distracted socio problems with the seven three seven max at the moment. But just presumably this is pretty serious. Burnings business. These are amongst the biggest selling planes, aren't they and one of its its biggest single market, China whose grounded them. Well, it's estimated that these planes produce, I e two thirty five percent of Boeing's revenues. So that perspective it's pretty serious, and the market's taking it seriously in the chef price of the company is fooling significantly over the past two days. However, some boosters say that this is an exaggeration be affect this problems may point to the fact the Airbus's share prices only increased by about one percent of the past day. Fez, any two major companies which produce airliners bearing an Airbus if Boeing is home by this vessel EVA's must benefit by the same amount. However, I didn't think that's entirely full Sewri going on here because opponent has flied thousand orders from seven free seven max eight, but if you're an airline, which has offered this aircraft. You don't have anyone else really to go to to buy them. You could go to Airbus Airbus doesn't have any capacity to make any more planes. I've the next six or seven years it's having a few production difficulties delays, which means vote. It's struggling to produce for one's favor. What he have on older. And so in theory at Boeing's actually, relatively safe position on that in this and people can't walk away and try to get the pain some somewhere else. But the two aspects were Boeing could be hit hard is firstly. This grounding is prolonged and if this groundings Pallone can't deliver the planes. It's made to customers and the customers don't pay Boeing the money for the planes. I'm I'm this means Boeing could have been increasing number of jetliners cluttering up its runways knits taxi raises production facilities. I'm this could be a big drop in a revenue initially and also in the longer term. You could have. Problem with pricing in the yes, they can't go to add bus to buy an extra platens in the medium term. But they could offer discounts from Barings hang obese planes and not particularly safe. There's reputational risk associated with them. And they could offer big discounts and this could reduce bearings. Revenues considerably cantata Abbas in the years to come from what you're saying the business worries not too overwhelming for bang the moment, but in public relations terms, this must be pretty serious. A yes, this is this is very serious fall fall that in the end, I think what highlights the seriousness is that people didn't really cab while plane they flew on. And then you'd be -cational aviation. Geek who would care whether they flying on air. I saw begging and if the pulse two days has been a massive change in public perception about this. People are calling up airlines. People tweeting airlines people are talking on. Blogs and internet. Forums about is fight. I'm gonna go on the bearing on Airbus flight and people are very worried about flying about is plane, and it might well be possible that this plane becomes the first plane will have the traveling public do not want to fly on and we'll pay extra money to avoid, and that's very very serious for the airlines which have bought this plane and very serious in the many of these airlines might not want these planes in years to come Charles one of our colleagues, Charlotte Howard, the bureau chief of New York recently had a terrifying. Experience aboard another burning plane. I think this one was seventy seven nine hundred not the seventy seven max. But she's been telling me about it. I was on a plane from Newark airport to Houston on Sunday night to go to an energy conference unlim-. We're about forty minutes from Houston. There was a bright flash of light. What looked to me like flames? And a violent shaking of the plane when we got closer to the ground as we were on the verge of landing several hundred feet in the air or not many thousands of feet in the air as we had been before. There were more consistent sparks or more consistent flashes or flames. So after we had landed the lights went out and the crews said evacuate the plane. I was near the rear of the plan. So I went out of went down the inflatable slide in the back and other passengers exited over the wings of the airplane and through inflatable sides at the front of the aircraft. The next day. The FAA said there was no evidence of fire. But the report did say that the engine failed shortly before landing. No one was hurt, thankfully, and there were just lots of anxious people understandably in the airport after this head occurred who seemed to be reluctant to get on. Airplane again anytime soon. How does that play into Barings PR nightmare? Well, that plane was a seven free seven nine hundred sevices a previous generation of playing. It sounds like the problems were with more with the engine than the plant cell from the engines are made by different companies to be at rest of the aircraft. However, I'm I don't think the average member of the public was discriminates between the two, and it's probably done the damage to Barings reputation Weber on all sets for saying multiple plane
Post-Midterm Day Spells Good Time for Stocks
"We start with the wild day on Wall Street after a big night in DC, the Dow surging more than five hundred points Sewri into the close ending the day near the highs of the session. It is the best thing for docs, falling amid term elections all the way back to nineteen eighty two foot while Wall Street went wild the real drama came from inside the beltway our own Ayman Java's is back at headquarters with all of the aim of. That's right. We had this wild press conference from the president in the East Room down in Washington DC, but then shortly after that late this afternoon the White House announced that the president had removed. His attorney general Jeff Sessions replacing him with sesame sessions own chief of staff Matthew Whitaker who has seen as somebody who is more friendly to the Trump White House who is somebody who has been critical of the special counsel's office straying too far from its mission. Whitaker having written about a year ago and op Ed piece in which he suggested that the special counsel should not investigate the president's family and finances that it should stick to the knitting of just investigating Russia's. So this is seen as a move by the president that will have the effect of constraining the Mueller investigation into the Russia matter at least keeping it focused on where it began which was that question of Donald Trump and Russia, and is there any connection there?
