Westbound side of 50 after four ten on your approach towards two O two, that's where you will find that accident scene. Sounds like if you're headed on the southbound side of I 97 and we were trying to access crane highway, unfortunately, you won't be able to, traffic is stopped headed past 32. In fact, traffic that tries to continue southbound on the great highway will be forced to head westbound en route 32. Keep that in mind. You're headed on the westbound side of 50 watch out for this, not the westbound, the eastbound side of 50. Soon after the severn river bridge, a little closer to college Parkway looks like an accident scene, got some delays starting to build their unclear how many lanes are affected, but again, watch out for the brake lights. "Across the severn river bridge, just a single lane on the bridge will get you by that crash. After that, however, it looks good headed all the way to the beltway, although we do have some volume getting on too. The outer loop of the beltway making your way past four 50. If you're inside the beltway on route 50, the delay is before two O two, headed on to New York avenue, the ramp from the southbound Baltimore Washington Parkway heavy getting on to New York avenue as well. Then inbound New York avenue delays to the light of bladensburg road, southbound D.C. two 95 slows from eastern avenue past the east capital street and northbound I two 95 delays headed towards laboratory road and passing the suitland Parkway. It is inbound on the suitland Parkway, the delay is headed to and past branch avenue. Watch for any crash activity, definitely seeing delays in both directions in the area of branch avenue. Then the volume from southern avenue trying to head to the light at Stanton road. If you're in Virginia along 66, it is westbound 66 delays from the dulles connector road trying to head toward the beltway. Westbound before the beltway was the crash along the right side of the roadway. If you're on the inner loop of the beltway, those delays were easing headed toward the dulles toll road. We had a variety of Rex between 66 and the toll road, but it seems like most of those have cleared back in Maryland one 94 woodsboro park westbound near glade road. You were under police direction for the vehicle fire and then back in Virginia northbound George Washington and Parkway looks like they've set up the work between one 23 and the beltway state of the right to get by. And that's what I call good timing they have just reopened the westbound span of the severn river bridge, so westbound 50 at the southern river bridge all traffic is once again moving they have pulled that diversion point. They are no longer diverting you on to route two or four 50 and they are to slow roll behind the police that are driving slowly across the bridge now that it is open. So again, traffic once again moving, but it is still incredibly heavy, trying to get across the 7 river bridge. Your delay on westbound 50 begins near, cape saint Clare and saint Margaret's road now you are able to get across the 7 river bridge, all decide roadways to continue to be jammed up and will be until all of this can alleviate because of the reopening of the roadway. Now, eastbound 50, that had been open for quite some time, not seeing much of even a delay trying to get across the severn river bridge. Elsewhere in the area if you're on the bay bridge, if you're on the beltway actually, the outer loop of the beltway delays coming from river road headed across the American legion bridge toward Georgetown pike. This is the work set up in the left lane. If you're in Maryland in clarksburg three 55 south of stringtown road traffic continues to alternate for that work crew, while in Virginia, it is the northbound 95 service road for 6 44 franconia road. Traffic had been stopped there for the crash, also related is the westbound 6 44 ramp to northbound 95. Under police direction for the crash, authorities were looking for a lot of activity in that area. So that's a fluid situation. I'm Rita Kessler, WTO P traffic. Okay. 50 and Maryland in Annapolis, unfortunately early this morning we had a propane tanker truck overturned on the severn river bridge, all westbound traffic will have to detour if you get as far as route two or route four 50 exit 27. Now others are beginning to hop off as early as they possibly can, but again, original ideas are very few and far between. You have very slow traffic everywhere on literally that side of the severn river bridge. Westbound lanes hoping to reopen by lunchtime, eastbound, we had equipment arrived to assist the westbound issue. That blocked the left half of the roadway two to the right will get you by. Otherwise, obviously very slow traffic on both route two and four 50 down near the naval academy bridge. 32 east up in Colombia in your guildford road or reported rec four 50 Annapolis road west before peace cross that had also been a crash. Down near the Chevrolet metro, that may be a water main break affecting Columbia park road between 50 and cabin branch drive. One is broken down on the beltway topside outer loop, not a factor. It's in the delay from 95 over to Georgia avenue, it said colesville right over on that left shoulder. Two 70 was heavy out of urbana down to clarksburg, slowing briefly in Germantown toward Montgomery village avenue, then the delay at the lane divide slow down the spur onto the outer loop. In Virginia, fair lakes Parkway at fair lakes court crash in the intersection blocking. Police are turning folks around in both directions. You'll find the beltway. We've had nothing out of the ordinary for now, slowing out of Springfield riding toward two 36, 95, pretty much cleared out, falmouth headed through woodbridge into Springfield, three 95 heavy, got a delay north of edsel, headed to king street, then again to cross the 14th. On the rails, metro's red line, train service suspended right now between Wheaton and Silver Spring because of fire department activity

All right, if you're in Maryland and you travel across the bay bridge on a regular basis and the severn river bridge, the trouble this morning is not on the bay bridge, it is on both directions of the severn river bridge. Unfortunately, a tanker truck overturned westbound, unfortunately it sounds like hazmat crews have a lot of work to do. Maybe a diesel fuel spill unclear the truck itself we thought was carrying butane that is not leaking. Eastbound traffic diverts at Raoul boulevard, westbound traffic diverts at X in 27 for routes two and four 50. Everybody seems to be going across the naval academy bridge, so four 50s been stacked early this morning. Give yourself extra time, the severn river bridge is closed in both directions with a truck overturned. Treble and Riverdale is going to be on four ten year kennel worth avenue reported crash. Beltway is getting slower. Topside outer loop, New Hampshire to Georgia, two 70s filling in, leaving Frederick around the monocacy as you head down toward one O 9. You'll find a little bit of heavier traffic on the inner loop between branch avenue and the Wilson bridge. It's just a little delay as you approach I two 95. Little heavier in the district died two 95 northbound to leave Malcolm X avenue headed northbound. D.C. two 95 getting a little slower as you head toward nanny Helen Burroughs avenue in east capital street. Trouble leaving the district was on the outbound case bridge had a crash along the right side. New York avenue at 12th street northwest and reported crash, the intersection of 8th and H streets in northwest also blocked following police direction around the crash. "On the 8th and when it breaks here is Carlos Ramirez the WTO traffic center Thanks so very much Let's start off in the district this morning if you're headed on the east bound side of New York avenue that's the outbound side headed into Maryland just after bladensburg road looks like some police activity along the left side of the roadway It looks like two left lanes being blocked right now Do stay to the right Thankfully traffic is light enough It's not causing any delays westbound side doesn't seem to be affected either North downside of D.C. two 95 has been up to speed all night no issues headed into Maryland there Baltimore Washington Parkway looks good as well Northbound side of I 95 Maryland Department of Transportation has set up a work grew on the north outside of 95 there on the approach towards two 12 It looks like two left lanes are blocked so you got two lanes available to you on the right so stay right No delays because of it as you continue north of that point I got another work crew just before route 32 They're also blocking the far left lane no worries You're going to have three lanes available to you on the right Eastbound side of route 50 up to speed from the beltway out towards 97 no issues across the severn river bridge but just as you're coming off of the severn river bridge on the eastbound side the work zone will be set up along the left side of the road where you're going to have two right lanes available to you What do you get past that over onto the bay bridge Got two way traffic on the westbound span so only one lane available in either direction watch out for that Down in Virginia in fairfax still hearing reports of the accident seen relatively small but poplar tree road and layfield street gonna see plenty of activity around that area northbound 28 no delays past the Sterling exits there earlier crash wasn't your old ox no longer seeing any issues The biggest issue of the night out a loop of the beltway still shut down at 66 traffic is still being detoured on to 66 westbound but Vida did say that about 5 a.m. is when they were going to start wrapping up So I'll keep a close eye on all of those cameras to see when they officially open up all up Out of the bell way a little slow past I 95 but I'm not seeing any reports of any incidents right now so just watch out for that I'm Carlos Ramirez the WTO traffic Now to store team for meteorologist samar Theodore A brisk start this morning so keep that in mind if you're headed to brunch by the afternoon highs are in the low 50s we are dry for your Sunday.
