Buccaneers Working to Restructure WR Mike Evans' Contract to Clear Cap Space
"The buccaneers were reportedly working to restructure. Why receiver mike evans contract due to cap space. Suits clear some. He is a sixteen point. Six three seven million dollar cap hit this season and the bucks currently only have to a little over two hundred and seventy thousand cap space. According to the nfl salary cap report so he has three years left on a five year. Eighty two point five million dollars extension so they every structured it. This is the this is. He's restructured the with them several times so this wouldn't be the first time he's restructured to deal with the team. But this is actually very smart. Mike evans is not a player. That you're going to move off of anytime soon so extending his money out giving you some calories. Capped salary cap room and flexibility. And giving him some more time is this is a situation that makes sense. How how great is that. Brady engines career and gets mike evans

Short Term Rentals and Airbnb
"Recently i was scrolling through tick talk in the algorithms. We're working their magic. And they brought me to this video of this guy that was explaining how him and his wife made like seventy thousand dollars in one month pretty much. Almost one hundred percent passively from real estate investments. And when i heard this i was like. That's really cool like that's awesome. That's a lot of money but real estate investing. There's no way i'm anywhere near that. I mean i'm twenty four years old. I don't even own my own home to live in but that's cool. That's awesome for him. Maybe that's something that i'll get into one day. I know that. Recently i listened to episode five hundred of build your tribe were. My parents talked about real estate. Investments as a stream of income that they have and i was like cool. Maybe one day. When i'm in my late thirties. When i'm in my forties like that's a route. That i could go down but this video popped up on my tick talk for you page in it kind of sparked my interest so i was like all right. Let's see what else this guy has. Let's learn a little bit more about him. His name was michael dante and he posts tick toxin youtube videos mostly primarily around this idea of investing in real estate but his specific niche isn't commercial real estate or even rental properties but short term rental properties. And really even specifically within that niche. His expertise is an airbnb rental properties. Now if you have no idea what airbnb is airbnb short for air bed and breakfast his basically an app where you can rent out your home a portion of your home your guest home. You can basically rent out your space for people to come stam. I can tell you that myself personally. I almost exclusively stay in airbnb. He's i think of the last. Maybe fifteen trips. I've gone on fourteen of them. I stayed in an airbnb. And one time i stayed in a hotel. Airbnb is really increasing. Its popularity and this is in no way an advertisement for airbnb. But i think a lot of people recognize that for just about the same or maybe even a little bit less of a price. You can actually get a lot more with airbnb.
Cori Bush Just Handed Republicans a 2022 Gift
"Let's listen together to corey bush. This is unreal. We i want. I need more of this interview. We should play this all day. In fact i'll just sit back worried about my kid. Try to figure out navigating flights and one person every twenty four hours and getting a tattoo on my forehead showing whatever they need us to do to be there credit to help my kid but maybe we'll just play this all day. Here's the squad's corey bush. We gotta go little extensively little bored deeper into the cbs interview. Let's listen to get congressman before we let you go. Let me ask you about something else. Aside from the moratorium you face. Some criticism in recent weeks over your push to fund the police Campaign records show that you spent roughly seventy thousand dollars on on private security. And some critics say that move is hypocritical. What's your response to those critics. They would rather die. You rather may die. Is that what you wanna see. You wanna see me die. You know because that could be the alternative. So either i spent seventy thousand dollars on private security over the last few months. And i'm here standing here standing now able to speak able to help save eleven million people from being evicted or i could possibly have a death attempt on my life and we're also talking about the same exact people who say horrible things about me who lie to get it to to build up their base and then because they lie about me. I received death threats now. They don't address the fact that i received death threats after they go on air and say horrible things about me but then they wanna say oh but she wants. She needs private security. I have private security because my body is worth being on this planet right now. I have private security because they the white supremacist racist narrative that they drive into this country. The fact that they don't care that this black woman that has put her life on the line they can't match my energy first of all this black woman who blitz her life on the line. They don't care that ma that i could be taken out of here. They actually probably are okay with that. This is the thing. I won't let them get that off. You can't get that off. I'm gonna make sure. I have security. Because i know i have had attempts on my life and i have too much work to do there too many people that need help right now for me to allow that so if i end up spending two hundred thousand if spend ten ten ten more dollars on it you know what i get to be here to do the work. So suck it up and defunding. The police has to happen. We need to define the police put that money into social safety nets because we're trying to save

Indie Beauty Brand Glamour Dolls Is Suing Lisa Frank After Failed Makeup Collab
"Story really upset me. Okay i hate to see okay. The world of lisa. Frank is not so bright right now. Okay indie beauty. brand glamour. Dolls is suing. Lisa frank regarding the makeup collection that went bust. Now i had a little bit of deja vu. When i was reading about this because i remember the kickstarter that the suit references that this is all an insider dot com will link out to this lots of details. I'm not going to get into the weeds here but twenty seventeen glamour dolls which is new. New jersey based indie brand started a kickstarter. If you remember to create. Lisa frank th-they makeup line. They raised more than glamour. Dolls raised more than three hundred. Seventy thousand dollars from more than five thousand beating enthusiast enthusiasts and this collection never came to fruition okay Some some items were so through hot topic in fc. I'm guessing that's Maybe just certain names full collection. That i wasn't completely clear on that But the bigger deal in my opinion. Is that a separate lisa frank. Makeup collection was released them more. And a lot of licensing deal. We've reported on it because we were so excited to see unicorns flying across the compact somewhat. Not exactly but when. I saw that i was thinking. Oh they were trying to do something for a while. We'll try to do something or glamour. Dolls has been trying to do something with them for a while. So representatives released a frank. Inc did not immediately respond to insiders Recent requests for comment. it is extremely It seems like things are not not great between them Glamor doll said that lisa frank intentionally and blatantly stymied the process at every possible juncture to collaborate. So this is a really juicy story. But it really upsets me. Because i really have a very positive Association and feeling with lisa. Frank so that one bummy.

"The institutional investors. When asked you know. Do you want a bitcoin. That is green. They say yes. Do you want it. Bitcoin that as fact compliant and they say yes So based on that we develop plans to try and develop virgin coins that would be environmentally sustained mind using environmental methods. And that would be oh fact compliant. What we quickly learned however was that the financial institutions weren't willing to pay extra for that bitcoin. So it's kind of like saying all. Bitcoin really are the same. But we'd like to be able to say this is the financial institutions that the bitcoin. We buy our sustainably mind and that they're fully compliant but if they're not willing to pay for that there's no reason to do it and so we then reversed our stance Quite publicly on memorial day weekend. I put out a video saying we're going back to the vanilla node. We're going to develop and mind. Bitcoin just like everybody else. The exact same. Bitcoin no different and yes. We hold all our bitcoin on our balance sheet. And you were somebody to come along and sale pay extra for bitcoin. That hasn't been put in any other wallets. I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. But you know that could happen on the future. But i think really. The community believes in the fungibility of bitcoin. All bitcoin the same. I'm a believer in that as well. I think that the the financial institutions from a regulatory perspective need to answer to their investors and to the regulators. And i think that's all going to sort itself out. I think the miners are going to become more transparent about. Efg we're gonna to become more transparent about what our commitments you know. We've already made a commitment that You know our next deployment of seventy thousand miners will be fully carbon-neutral and we'll take the existing fleet that we have make that carbon-neutral over the course of next year the will be one hundred percent carbon neutral and you know we'll be tracked and held accountable to that by the public markets over the course of the next year and then i think it's really going to be a question of how the market develops with what sort of financial instruments people develop a fund for example. Could say i'm only going to buy sustainably mind. Bitcoin put in my fund and then they could sell shares of that fun to institutional investors..

"seventy thousand" Discussed on The Peter Schiff Show Podcast
"Women were liberated when they didn't have to work. They lost their liberty when they had to work and the reason they had to work was because prices went up so much more than wages during the one thousand nine hundred seventies that their husbands could no longer afford to support them and their kids so they had no choice but to join the labor force so that was the result of that inflation. So what is going to be the result of this next massive inflation and again even if defend was correct in that this high inflation is transitory. That doesn't mean it's gonna get reversed so if we have a year we're prices go up ten or twenty percent and they never go back down if they just start going up two percent a year after that. That is a increase in the cost of living forever. Americans which is like a massive tax right if the cost of living goes up by ten percent. Let's say you're earning forty thousand a year and thanks to one year of transitory inflation prices. Go up by ten percent and ten percent higher every single year into the future will. That's like you're paying a four thousand dollar tax because most people that earn forty thousand year they spend it all and if everything caused ten percent more because of one year of transitory inflation. You've got an annual tax bill of four thousand dollars. Meanwhile you got. Joe biden saying nobody. Earning less than four hundred thousand dollars. A year is going to pay a tax think about the enormity of that inflation tax. and of course it's not going to be transitory. There is no reason to believe that is. Snowball is going to stop rolling down. This hill is going to keep gathering momentum as it gets bigger and bigger so we're gonna have a higher inflation. I think at twenty twenty two then we have in twenty twenty one and probably higher in two thousand twenty three. Don't we haven't twenty twenty two so the tax hikes are going to get bigger and bigger now. of course wages aren't going to go up right. So people are gonna have some increases in wages to offset to increase in their prices. But what they earn is not going to be going up as fast as what they're buying and they're going to continuously be behind the curve. And of course what really gets wiped out all your savings because you don't get any raise their so if you have money that you save from work that you've done the past and that you were hoping to spend in the future you're getting taxed on that substantially that's not going up and you have a lot of people who are living on fixed incomes and these are not millionaires and billionaires who were living on fixed income. You have a lot of middle class retirees whose retirement is going to be completely destroyed by this inflation tax. And they're going to have to go back to work by the way the interview. I did with ben. Shapiro finally made it onto youtube. A lot of people had heard me mentioned. I was on the sapiro show but they weren't able to see it because it was reserved for paid subscribers. Will now it's available to anybody. Have just go on youtube and google. Peter schiff ben shapiro or go to ben. Shapiro's youtube channel. You can check out the interview. It's about sixteen minutes in length. You know when you're running a small business those hr issues can kill you. Wrongful termination suits minimum wage requirements. Anti discrimination other labor regulations and those hr managers ain't cheap an average of seventy thousand dollars a year and that's where band becomes in bambi spelled b. a. n. b. e..

This is what to do when the entire county is under an emergency or or nine one one goes out not just in the entire county but in the entire county next to us to and and there is no plan for the magnitude of what we just went through right and will you spend years training emergency management. Lots and there was an old. I can't remember what general said. It was that every bell battle-plan is great until the first shot is fired and then then it is all you know. Make do with what you get and make it happen. And basically that that in every instance including these is what has happened As we run down through water availability The supply of water did not become sufficient from relief sources. Will if we go out and buy it then we take from our local sources. We take it away from individuals already getting it. So those are the things that you balance in through all of this. It is okay. I kind of started to to trend more towards kind of two avenues and it was more of the the marketing side and the corporate partnerships side. And pops she really going to have probably three or four major operators up there and this just continues with that trend of you know. Solidified the best acreage in you know as gas prices have come back up you know. I think we'll start to see a little bit. More of a of these types of gas assets go on the market. You know historically you've seen things that have no transacted have had a little bit more liquids exposure But you know you you've got a handful of companies that have really position their thesis around gas and dry gas potential for allergy and And and and that's what's that's what's playing out right here is that those. Those companies are are gonna remain focused and and going to stick to their stick to their thesis and and really try and roll everything up. So don't know who the buyer is going to be like you said there's been some speculation around it but The story will be back in the roundup for too long all right next up. "All these other resources and it's you know when i talked to a lot of the sales teams that we work with a lot of our partners. They want me to talk to their sales teams. They will how can you talk to a restaurant owner. And what i tell them always is. You ought to sell something. And i understand that but a restaurant owner has seven thousand if not seventy thousand things on their mind whatever's top of mind and whatever you can help them with right can go and figure that out. I don't care what you're selling you figure out the answer to that question you become an ally become a partner to that restaurant owner and then later on you will be top of mind. Stop worrying about what you're selling. Start listening if you start listening to. What's coming out of the restaurant owners mouth. What's coming out of their staff mouth with the managers. Were the pain points and now especially on social media. They'll tell you everything that's they'll give you the pulse strong. Yeah that's great council. I hope. I hope they follow through with that. Yeah yeah yeah. And i think there's never been a time at least in my career since two thousand and eight where the vendor relationship with a restaurant owner has been so reciprocals now especially with all these tech companies that are coming into the restaurant space that are offering solutions to problems that we all have. They need us just as much as we need them. Right right because they have a tool. That's going to help us be more efficient to put out a better quality product to be more profitable. They also need feedback from us. Independent operators so that they can improve their product right. Absolutely you know once once and it's not just in the restaurant business any business once you start look not taking for granted those relationships to understand all of these companies are going through a digital transformation. They fundamentally do business. You start to understand. Well i've been doing business with this company for thirteen years. And they sell. May i don't care linens. And maybe they don't do any external marketing. But if i become a case study and i'm willing to say hey. This is why this linen companies great. They understand our culture. They understand why it's important to our guest now all of a sudden they have something that they can share. And i know that it's valuable so this is kind of like the rising tide of the digital entrepreneur in ways that just as one person you can have a voice if you're willing to use the internet in the smartphone in ways that typically a lot of restaurant owners don't use. Yeah well that's that's why i appreciate you so so much coming on. Restaurant owner dot com and during that webinar and educating other independent restaurant operators with respect.

"We'll talk about what's changing in the cannabis market in the us. The latest social network craze called clubhouse and lastly an update on the crater commie by way of new news from the newsletter software. Company that we use called sub stack. So i know joel. You got a lot to say over last week. Loss happened not just bitcoin key. Quick market update. Yeah so six days in a row. Green print it's Been incredible little run to start the year. Some of the stuff that i think is quite notable. Is that All of the major indexes close at all time highs. The xl is up thirteen percent just in the month of february financials tech. Everything was green. Today we're what recording eight february so monday. Today they're him. Futures contracts started trading so that contributed to already. Frothy crypto market and. Then you combine that with cannabis If you're following cannabis especially us cannabis. He should be following the sos. Etf just kind of like this index etf. It's marched all time highs. I think four and a half percent today so a lot of areas that we had highlighted in our twenty twenty. One predictions are already starting to show some promise. So the first thing that we had mentioned was energy the energy sector kind of Bought bottoming in twenty twenty. I think a lot of people that trade this area Will point to this. Bottoming effect negative oil in the midsummer. And i think that. Probably set off what i consider to be. This likely secular bull trend in oil and gas and all homes that are either up in grand prairie fort. Mcmurray anybody working in this space. We've heard nothing but negative news but fifty dollar. Wti is nice to see. It's it's been great so that has been fantastic. You combine that with the bubbles in so many different areas of this market. So last week was defined by amc blackberry Beyond game stop This week we've already forgotten about these things as somebody who follows markets. Somebody who's constantly on twitter. Somebody's always watching these things. Nobody even cares about it anymore. It's already gone. And what's so important to to think about this as that i mean. Yeah there's people talking about how there's going. I can't wait to watch the movie on this. Do you still want to watch it. Do because i don't i don't even care game sauce down. Eighty five percent amnesties down sixty two blackberries down forty the and bionz down sixty five all these companies have completely cratered. They're moving back to their what i would call their rightful price. Everything's kind of just been pumped dumped. Been exciting but we definitely are seeing an extrapolation of what i think the past ten months where and while i think if you go back and listen to a lot of our previous episodes in regards to zoom price the companies that are taking advantage of working from home A lot of that is being emphasized. But we're seeing a mixture of these these things today and i'm kind of excited to see what the next month has. That's my market update again. If you really wanna see more. I recommend getting to the group. I post all day every day. Everything that i'm reading. I'm posting in there so i suppose that brings us to our next topic yet. The thing. I think everybody's looking for an explanation on this in just to provide a little bit of context. I was doing some research. And obviously they're not the first company to put a portion of their assets into bitcoin. I think me the most note worthy one was meant squirted an jack dorsey but micro strategy. I think was one of the original people. I think they hold over seventy thousand bitcoins. At this point. I know square put one percent of the company but it was like fifty million bucks. So tesla dumps a billion dollars into bitcoin. The question is why. Why would companies be buying calm. I mean here's the skinny on this..

I'm closing in on a half a million youtube subscribers. So that would be great. I'm pretty sure. I'm gonna get there sometime in two thousand and twenty one. But it'd be great. If i can get there in the first half of two thousand twenty one so that would take another seventy thousand subscribers from here so Subscribe to that guilt. Go on all of my social media platforms. Friend me on facebook instagram. Though is the one. I really need to push. Because that's the one. I came late to the instagram party. Right because i didn't even start on instagram until last year. And i'm not even at seventy thousand followers. I'm at sixty nine thousand eight hundred and change. So maybe as a result of this podcast i can get over seventy thousand. I really liked to get to one hundred thousand to get out of the you know the five digits and get get to a six digit count on instagram. So obviously if. I've got four hundred thirty thousand youtube subscribers and three hundred forty five thousand twitter followers. A lot of these guys are not on instagram. Now maybe a lot of these guys think. They're too old for instagram. But you know what even if you are. Just follow me yeah. There's some interesting stuff that i'm putting out on instagram. That's not on twitter. That's not on youtube or facebook. So if you're not following me just do it and help me get my numbers up. Because i think my numbers are i could attract some more young people because that's where the young people are there on instagram. And so i need to reach those people.
