Kelly he's gonna be helping us. She's in for the summer. And i had the opportunity to read your book and it's well written and through it. All it's peppered with statistics about minor league major league the evangeline league which was really interesting to me. Because i didn't realize our background here. How important minor league baseball was in this part of the world. One of the reasons for writing the book was to keep alive. The legacy of the crowley millers the ballpark that they played in that still here. In fact it's looking better than ever and The storied past of the evangeline which was established in one thousand nine hundred eighty four and lasted until nineteen fifty seven. There was a little time out for world war two right but just a colorful league. In fact it was known as the best literally in baseball and of course that was before there was literally it was classed d and it produced a number of major leaguers a hall of famer named how new hauser who won over two hundred games in the majors and virgil firetrucks coach nicknames. In those days he was a teammate. Of how new housing virgil trucks. One hundred and seventy seven games in the majors and then you go on edlow pat. Who was a yankee great yankee pitcher in the fifties. He came out of the evangeline. So produced a number of major league players prior to the war after the war it didn't produce as many. It was then a class sealy but in the last two years the teams became affiliated with major league teams and so several major league players came out of the league. And i write about one of the book george

Troubled youth in georgia the center had secured its medical license which allowed the collection of third party payments from insurance companies and was now having patients referred there from the court system as well as other learning centers lewis petr supposedly restricted for making contact with any patients was still keeping his office on campus grounds. Any oversight at the time had slip through the cracks of state government and the roman patients at was growing exponentially. Carl moore was one of these patients. He was admitted in one thousand. Nine hundred seventy seven. After seeing the result of his brothers reform their carl's family had a particular connection to enter wakey. his mother was involved in number of schools in atlanta. That would often refer children to the program in douglasville anyway keys. Reputation had put the program at the top of the list for educators to send children who were beyond the scope of their help. Here's chris mcknight a former patient who was referred to an wakey from the new school. A program headed by carl's mother tweety more. My father pulled me out of the school. I was going to editor mea the tweety more school the new school i was there for a couple months and at the new school. I met a couple people that i was at anna wakey with that were at her school. Post and wakey so as it turns out tweety more recommended analytic. It's not just me but to a lot of other kids. My feelings with tweety is. I don't think she knew about the abuse. Sedano achey i've known tweety. Since i was a little kid i mean she's she's passing our soul a number of former patients. I've interviewed said they were referred to in a wakey from other schools in similar ways where did spread throughout learning centers in georgia and neighboring states. That anna wakey was a solution for troubled kids who didn't have a place elsewhere. Now that anna wakey was officially licensed medical hospital. It was also receiving patients who were wards of the state of georgia and other neighboring states like alabama. This all amounted to a large increase in the number of patients. Enrolling anna wakey was running out of room.

"David welcome. Hi david oh me on the show. Monday and it's already seventy reporter back and forth as a new seatbelt on pulling it on rave for cooking. Great that's so great will welcome and i. There's so much that we're going to cover obviously with your position in what you're doing a we have been talking about that as we started. Risky business And you your title chief. Technology officer keeps coming up. And i didn't even know that that that position existed and clearly. This is something now districts everywhere have you and probably have many To deal with this New life that we have of kids using technology so cher cher little bit how high got started. And and what your what your connection is with tustin and and you've got a very busy office. It looks incredible Let me just say this. Your first show You talked about Bless you thirty years of industry and staff either years news industry in a gun sight because that's mine member which means on talking to grow shorts which is really nice right. We all started when we were ten right enter. It was a little different for that for me. But i'll speak for myself by i've been in. Receivers to Target in the Late Rounds of your Dynasty Rookie Draft - burst 07
"Fitzpatrick. Let's see if we agree on this next player. I'm a. I'm a little higher on this guy too. So it's a mad rod- saint brown from the lions usc. Yeah he's a player. I like them a committee. He's very similar in a situation fitzpatrick you know he's gonna come in And i mean there's really not much competition for them. You know pyramid tirol williams. Yeah and i liked terra. Williams pyramids pray. He's okay you know. Those guys might actually be more talented than a Brown but they're also. Canada beat up players through their careers. And i don't really expect neither one of them to hold up you know. And it wouldn't be shocked if They're also very different. Style player that ahmad brad. I think my bracket can be a good underneath slide guy and whereas i i don't typically like sly guys you know where we were talking about driving with the second round when you're talking about getting guy the third round of a rookie draft you know that's cool because these guys are good. Probably get on the field and You know i like him. I just don't know what his long term value is. Because i would assume that the detroit lions are going to upgrade their their wide receiver positions at some point. One of the things that saint has gone for him as he has. More of a complete body work in college. Played six games. Forty one receptions for four hundred seventy eight yards seven touchdowns pretty good for six games. Last season seventy seven receptions thousand forty two yards six touchdowns season before that as a freshman sixty receptions seven hundred fifty yards and three touchdowns. So i was pretty impressed with his stats. So for that reason. I like him. But as cow saying am i gonna adjust him over bateman more those allies more either. The moore's no. I'm not gonna drop them over that but if he falls i will take a look at him because i think the saints brown is stepping into a situation that scrape for him and this is what i. This is what. I come back to saint bad and i. I know that these two receivers aren't necessarily the most similar by keep coming back to kenny. Golladay when he first went till lines. We'll see third fourth round pick. Also he came down where there was a genuine Where there was opportunity for him to be the number one receiver in the And he took advantage of that. That opportunity and same opportunity has been presented to saint brown. I don't think this same brown is as talented as golladay. But i think that that is close to the ceiling. Distinct brown house. That would which is why. I'm high him and in that aspect but low but there's also an equally as likely chance that saint brown is just never going to be able to send to wide receiver one
Receivers to Target in the Late Rounds of your Dynasty Rookie Draft - burst 05
"Was drafted another god. I'm fairly high on From clemson at cal. I'll let you discuss him. I think about what rogers. I'm not nearly as high on rogers as they consis I think a lot of people saw him when he went to green bay. I think everybody's been so ready for the green bay packers to have another wide receiver inserted in the draft. You know and we're just intimidating in anticipating but you know. I really don't think amari rogers profiles is the number two wide receiver in the fact. That rogers is a situation is so up in the air to say the the to say the least you know. I am not projecting broader. You're gonna be there long term and if that's the case you know is jordan love gonna be all support a wide receiver you know. Are we even sure that amari rogers is better than allen. Lazard now is dead fund as the guy that they went out and got in free agency it to be the number to receiver going into last year before he opted out. You know he's back on the roster as well and he's only twenty seven years old. I think people are really forgetting about devin. Funchess to be honest with you You know this is a guy that has already been a top twenty wide receiver in his career. So i think there's a lot more competition in green bay than a lot of people are are are getting Giving them credit for and The roger situation really makes me uneasy. Amaury writers has some talent. I i just don't think he's anything special. I just think that he's at best a middle level starter of the nfl. And i don't see much of a window of him being much higher especially as long as davante adams is on that team. 'cause i just don't see that the target share i mean it's a. It's a team that clearly wants to run the ball as much as possible. So i'm not nearly as how marta riders. I i know a lot of people are people are taking them in mid second rounds now and i think that that's a mistake. I think he was the best of water. She would come out clemson for the tape stuff that i watch. Those are good points. There's a reason as to why. I say fairly high. It's because i have a lot of the same reservation that you do. But and i do. I'm generally concerned about aaron rodgers in the future in green bay with the quarterback situation. But i have to look back at amari rogers talent and what he did in his last year and clemson and what he did was ball out in my opinion. Seventy seven receptions. Thousand twenty yards seven touchdowns. Yes he had. Trevor lawrence thong him. The ball but still in a shortened season are very impressive. Numbers and amari. Rogers is a guy that has pretty much been undervalued this entire process and now all of a sudden he's going green bay people hiding him and i'm not high on him because he's going to green by on more high in him because of the talent and the potential that i see and i do think that he has the potential to be the number two receiver in green bay S a good gig. Because even if aaron rodgers is not there in a long term disturbance excellence head coach matt floor and they still have a quarterback enjoy jordan love and we really don't we haven't seen much from during love so we can't make a lot of assumptions. But he was still you still first round pick in an quarterback the has a lot of potential people were comparing him to patrick mahomes and he. He was more of a quarterback they just needed to be developed. So i think that. I think that there's a good chance that jordan love could turn into a successful quarterback if the packers ended up do and not Having rogers under center. So i think the during the love isn't a terrible option there and lathered and function function all could be a lot number two receiver in that office. But i think long term that amari. Rogers is the better prospect for may so that is why i tend to be a little bit higher on the mar bader's
The Big Hormone Deception With Dr. Lindsey Berkson
"Lindsey things coming on the show and you are one of my biggest heroes and if you could just give us a little bit of background about who you are. What got you doing this working in the world's thank very much. I really enjoy that. We both live in the same city. And i hope we get to go canoeing together soon. So it's very interesting. How all this unfolded. Is that early on in my life. Nutrition just made a lot of sense to me. So i became a nutritionist and then i went further into medicine and i did my first rotation and integrative medicine with dr jonathan right in one thousand nine hundred seventy seven and he's not later became known as the father of bio identical hormones so in that rotation he said hormones are foundational. This was in my very early. Training hormones are foundational. They run everything. They're not just about sexy things they're not just about reproductive things. They run our epigenetics. They run our immune system. They run our kidneys. They run our brain. Functioned the volume of our hippie campus. Where memories live and cognition is bright or not and so. I got respect early on for hormones in the next year after i did his rotation. He opened up his meridian valley laboratory. Which in the beginning was mainly twenty four hour urine assessment but then it became other types of testing. And i've been running testing on my patients with hormones. Ever since nineteen seventy eight. Now that was in my career now while all this is happening in my own life. I was an athlete. My mother was state champion in illinois and tennis and in fencing and so i was raised to be an athlete and when i was about sixteen and a half seventeen i went to a theon sophy. Society meeting and scott nearing who kind of is credited with starting organic gardening in the united states was giving a lecture and he said you are what you eat. That may total sense to
COTAXfinity Recap, Busch Wins
"Nascar xfinity series race recap from circuit of the americas over the weekend. Rain made this one interesting for sure. But kyle busch dominated. He led thirty five of the forty six lap event. Kyle busch spanks the field with an eleven second lead coming to the checkered flag. In his ninety eight th career win in this series I think we had a really good piece. Just overall talking with dinger kind of felt like drive off was probably our biggest thing that we excelled that today. Just being able to keep the rear tires on the car longer being able to get the gas pedal down to make a away longer. Instead of sitting there modulating the gas and kind of playing with it and wasting time to get down that was the biggest thing almoner behind me. He was the closest that could keep up with me for about two laps. But i was always in front of him when we were close to each other. So i didn't I didn't really see how well he was through the ss or You know through the slow section stadium section over there to see if that's if he can make ground on me there keep up with me there or whatever so Yeah that's probably about about it all right. Aj alma dinger ends up second followed by justin all our kevin harvick and austin syndrich rounds out the top. Five point standings like this five to one justin all daniel hamrick. Big Government Cheese
"It's one thousand nine hundred seventy seven. Jimmy carter has announced his plan to help farmers and congress's like wait. No we also love the farmers and so they pass a law saying that they want the price of milk to go up automatically every six months. It's one thing for politicians to say we want the price of milk to go up but the government then actually has to figure out a way to step into this market and make it happen. So it's it's fundamental economics again dairy economist. any vodka. Vich you got two levers you can pull out and you can do something to make demand greater or you can do something to make supply less either one should get you a higher price lever one lower the supply. You could do what they do in canada and say hey no more milk. You can only produce so much milk but this is america. We don't do milk quotas. No lover one. Okay lever to more demand. You could try to convince the public that they want to drink. More milk in it looked delicious glass. Okay easier solution. Maybe the government could just start buying a ton of milk themselves. This was generally the approach that we would use to support other kinds of farm industries. The government would buy up say massive amounts of corn or wheat. And then just throw it into a silo until we needed it for some reason but that does not work for milk because milk starts going bad. The minute it comes out of the cow fell so mostly water so you got a holiday around in those. Like gas tankers. The federal government wouldn't have the foggiest idea what to do with tanker loads of milk. What would the government do if you drove this into downtown washington and said here you go so the clever folks that. Usda said what if we went down to supply chain one step ah-ha and looked at dairy products that are storable so the basic question was what kinds of milk products can the government by and store. Butter one nonfat dry milk and cheese and in particular Cheddar type cheese

The Family's Role in Addiction and Recovery.
"Alright let's jump right in. Because i have a hot topic today that i haven't talked about for awhile and that is families and recovery. Wow this is a big big big topic so many of us. The addicted people have difficulty with our families. Some don't but the majority of us do in that sense given that the family thinks it's all our business right. As soon as the problem becomes obvious out there in front of the whole family it becomes the problem of the person who's addicted to get. Fixed no bueno from this therapist. We're gonna talk today about the long held notion. That addiction is the person's problem and get more realistic and talk about why. It's a family issue. No matter no matter what kind of family. You have the researcher. I'm going to use for today's podcast. Is stephanie brown phd. She's a clinician researcher and consultant in the field of addiction and she founded the alcohol clinic at stanford university medical center in nineteen seventy seven and served as its director for eight years developing the dynamic model of alcoholism recovery and its application to the long term treatment of all members of the alcoholic family. Yep old language but yes. I'm reading from her websites amusing her language. Dr brown served on the california state. Alcoholism advisory board and was a founding member of the national association for children of alcoholics. Now the national association for children of addiction in a cola child of addiction

"Get and it setting a dangerous precedent for who makes it into the hall of fame in seven years. Yeah right. so let's say the next five years of ballots. Are this way where where we think that is make sense. And then we softened up that position and then we soften up the position. And then we'd start. Voting is in like nick swisher in their eighth and ninth years on the ballot. Because they've been on the ballot for eight or nine years and we've had seven years of this dearth this lull representative and i think that's wrong. I think that we talk last year though about how there are years where nobody is elected right. And you're right. We did talk about that. And i i mean there i i do think there will be elected this year but if if it gets to be the pool is just guys like this which i don't think it will be for for very long like maybe we only have one or two guys voted in in the next two or three years but I mean yeah it could be the case we could see it happen more often over the next ten years. So who's it going to be this year. Well i have had the list everybody on the ballot ready. So everybody wasn't ready mentioned previously said curt schilling robert robert curt schilling roger clemens. Later here barry. Bonds omar vizquel scott role and billy wagner. Gary sheffield todd. Helton manny ramirez. Jeff can't andrew jones sammy sosa. Andy pettitte bobby brave k. bobby brady. This is his second year on the ballot He got five point five percent of the votes last year. I think because of the field. He's going to get more. I don't know that hidden hill necessarily get in. But he'll get more right. Yeah I think you're schilling gets in honestly because up to this point. He hasn't gotten in because nobody likes him because of his politics and his attitude got seventy percent of the votes last year. Yeah and i think. I think he gets enough to get in this this next year. The he's only got one more year after this on the ballot. Got one more. Chance i think is this year or is this year. Yeah is okay okay I don't think clemens and bonds get in this year if they do that I mean it's going to have to be next year if it's going to happen. Yeah i i could see todd. Helton getting it..

"Mean earl says can eat. Those guys would be on the ballot this year. You know that's what i'm saying like there's like they don't ask the right in fact you don't even have to use all your votes on the hall of fame ballot hall of fame about the right all right so they could just. It'd be like steroids and not worthy. I'm not voting. Of course you know. Yeah so it well. And that's what i'm saying like who decides that we have to formulate this new class of potentials. I'm not sure. I do think it's probably the baseball writers association of america though. Because they're the ones who vote on it. It would have to be so this. We're asking the same people who are potentially going to say absolutely not. That violates whatever standards. I decided to abide by. But but we're going to go ahead and yeah ok just also names on the list seems codemax it does. Yeah and i don't know. I mean there's a if fifteen twenty years down the road eventually you get that committee. What is the legends committee. Or whatever who voted in harold. Baines who says you know what actually nick swisher was really a good clubhouse guy and but just didn't quite live up to his potential on the field. Let's put him in. Like i'm not saying that would ever happened. But because he you know or or tim tsin or berry ito who speaking of ball like those guys actually anchored that pitching staff that ya they did. They were the ones that were helping him win. All those games not scott hattiesburg. No you know that. They had a really good pitching staff as why they were winning games. Nobody can nobody can score runs off of them yet right so but i just think we have to deal with this like semi ethical question because that legends committee isn't going to come back and say nick swisher if he's never been on hall of fame ballot so what we're ending up do what we're doing potentially is muddying the waters for fifteen twenty years down the road could be and that's where that's where i struggle. That's the issue. I have is if there's not inherent merit if there's not true merit. Why put him on the list at all and that really bothers me. And i know i'm purist so it's okay baseball family. If you agree with me. I want to know if you disagree with me. It's okay to you. Should tell me but i just i think it's dangerous culturally to to blur these lines and if if if there's no gold standard that we're that we're gonna hold this ballot to. I mean this. This balance should be the gold standard and so to have people on there. That are throwaway names. That are just like yeah well. He was a popular favourite or everybody hated him or whatever. And that's why because cultural significance. Whatever we're gonna put him on the list. The gist seems cheap to me. It cheapens the entire experience. An you know. Maybe this is the that i had is that maybe they do have to. They have to meet a certain quota of guys got who they had to put on the ballot and this was the best available of guys who've been out of the game for five years. You know because. I feel like you know the guys who grew up watching the nineties Most of those guys are either in the hall of fame or they're already on the ballot. You know like..

"Welcome back baseball family now last week. We discussed who was on this new batch of hall of fame possibles hopefuls. Let's call them there. You go and despite despite how many of the names i butchered. Which let's just be honest. It was not in a good place when i was talking about mark. What's his name mark. borough is instead of early. Yeah burly thank you know. No offense promise however brandon. I have a couple of Like overarching opinions about this year's hall of fame ballot and the first one is for me. These names are currently irrelevant. Yeah yeah that's okay to say no seriously it's just that's that's usually how it goes with your first your first time on the ballot and and really like there. There are a couple guys on there. Who i think you can make a case for Like tori hung out. Like you know we talk about it all the time. That guy had factor like he was a very good player. It's just he doesn't have the activates to go with it. You know the days. He's only a five time all star. He did he did win. Nine gold glove to time silver slugger but that was over. The course of like of nineteen year career night nineteen seasons. Yeah exactly and for somebody who i literally bumped elbows with the twins. Press box wants Is actually the weekend that he was getting into. Does actuaries going with us. It was the weekend he was getting inducted into the twins. Like ring of honor in the stadium. he meant more to individual franchises than he did. The league as a whole Because he was a guy who could rally a team around him could ignite ignited dugout with fantastic plays in the outfield and he was very good hitter very good hitter but very good. Yeah he just wasn't one of those standout guys. i mean. The dude hit three thirty one for his career. Sorry to seventy seven three thirty one on base but anyways he just he just wasn't one of those guys who was a top level standout fame level career for long enough peak. Long enough right. So he's one of the guys who i could like kind to see but like you know. Maybe his eighth or ninth year on the ballot. But this year. I don't think he's gonna make it same thing with like tim. Hudson and barry zito rarely very pitchers import into the staff. There that there are a part of but overall that they don't feel like all famer to me. So tell me how you feel about nick. Swisher.

"Now bobby bray. This is his second year on the ballot He got five point five percent of the votes last year. I think because of the field. He's going to get more. I don't know that he'll necessarily get in but he'll get more right. Yeah i think it's in honestly because up to this point. He hasn't gotten him because nobody likes him. Because of his politics his attitude got seventy percent of the votes last year. Yeah i think. I think he gets enough to get in this. This next year the peop- and he's only got one more year after this on the ballot. Got one more chance. But i think this is ninth year or year. Yeah his i don't think clemens and bonds get in this year if they do that I mean it's going to have to be next year if it's going to happen. Yeah i i could see todd. Helton getting it. He's only been on the ballot for this is his third year bro and he got twenty nine percent twenty nine point two percent of the votes last year. I understand that. I also think that part of is because people are going to say you know what the impact that hilton had on basically put in colorado on the map while he's playing for them and yes he played in. Colorado numbers are inflated. Everybody understands that everybody knows that. And that's why he hasn't gotten like that's why he's only gotten twenty nine percent of the votes because he played yep but he was never. He's never associated with steroids I feel like he's one of those guys who everybody likes. And if guys every don't want to vote for somebody who did steroids or vo for anybody. Who's new on this year's ballot. I think it's their vote. Wow at of everybody on that bell andrew jones. I was gonna say andrew jones. That's i was gonna make the same argument for andrew jones. Actually i don't know if andrew jones makes enough of a jump from nineteen percent. I mean that's only another ten percent. But i don't know if he makes enough of a jump to get in this year but i think he makes enough of a jump to maybe get in the next year or the next two years. Maybe yeah because it's so andrew jones. Do you think. Andrew jones had a hall of fame career. His thing he had a really really good ten year peak like really he very rare. Oh yeah I just. I'm just not sure if a ten year peak is long enough to get in because the last few years of his career whereas not very good..

Be Weird. There's GonNa. Be some weird raw ramen noodles, but it works so start off by crushing a bag of Rama noodles. Can be any flavor, 'cause. You are not going to use this seasoning packet. You're GONNA throw that. The crushed Rahman into a bowl ad three quarters of a cup each of. Sunflower seeds like hold. Just the Ted and sliced almonds. In the near, GonNa, add a bag of coleslaw mix so just the cabbage and carrots, no dressing or anything and. Slice up three to four green onions or scallions. Throw that in there do not mix it up. In a measuring cup. You're GONNA whisk together. A half a cup of vegetable oil, a third of a cup of white vinegar in a Quarter Cup of sugar with skit together tried to dissolve. Some of the sugar probably ought dissolve in that your dressing. In a poor that over everything in the bowl, so it's GonNa sink to the bottom are the Rahman. In, the almonds in the seeds are kind of maybe soften the Rahman a little bit. Put it in the fridge like two hours prep. Anything else you'RE GONNA. Make go watch TV. Do whatever you're. GonNa. Do come back two hours later. Toss it altogether so now. Everything's evenly dispersed in. It is so good in light and refreshing, and it's not like a Mayo based Coleslaw very crunchy, still shis. You gotta respect the person, no matter what it is a carnival game, a physical match a puzzle, no matter what it is because the outcome. Only one person is coming home, and that's what I love. The Red Skull has been great this season and I think you see it when you see. Reports is the highest rated challenge that's been on eight years. Something like that and I'm wondering you started MTV like five years ago on. Are you the one that you went on next on the beach? You've been on the child's, did you? I guess what you aspired to be on. Are you the one originally, did you? You ever see that this would be your thing where you're sitting down. You're having interviews with people magazine. You're on the highest rated season of the challenge in years. You're having this moment where everyone's like Oh my God Nelson. I can't believe what he did with Corey. It has to be crazy to you as someone that probably grew up watching shows like this to be in the center of all of it. Let me tell you something man, and this is true. When I was growing up as a kid, I used to pray to God. So look all over one million dollars in travelling the world. That's all. That's all I. Want Bake you. That's all the one riot. Is gave his blessing both opportunities traveled world. You'd have an opportunity to million dollars and to be honest with you. I never watched the talent going up. This. Oh, this is! This is oblivious. I wasn't talent going onto the challenge. I didn't even know it was a competitive game. Just a party I said I wanted to be the first black guy to win a champion the. Jets? Got Derail. Ass. I didn't even watch the challenge when I got to the airport with Amanda. Why will stream? It was my first season? I talked I talked right. So you know what we're doing or like some dating thing we all want. We're just partying with. As challenges in Necet I'm the I was I love the work I reading shape as the complete. Our always love the gym I love the. Track played football, basketball I love sports in general, allowed to compete I loved it. I loved it, but I never knew God bless with his opportunity to compete in front of the world. In front of the world on on the challenge, and you know what to be honest with you always never the best football I was never on the eighteen, I was never I was always going to be I was never the fastest on track. I was never a D.. One kind of guy I wasn't and I knew that, but I was at guide. That wouldn't give up a loser underdog I was driven I would I wouldn't stop. You'll see me in a weight room. Where if the room coaches that fought a coach? So sick. Can I run another lap. Can I do another route because growing up? I didn't have nobody to teach me. To be to play football to play the basketball I, I didn't start my I i. didn't wasn't on my first team. When I was in high school I mean year football. I'd be notice about at this new. My friends like play I was like Oh. I'm Kinda good. I can get picked up. I was last guy to get picked on. The team always allowed sky, but I knew it I knew I like to compete I knew I liked pushed my bike to the fullest, and when his opportunity presented itself to be on a challenge, I was like wow. After rivals three after my first elimination would Amanda I. Remember That Day, Ave. Disney. This is where God wants to. This is where I'm supposed to be enough now. It's time to get to a drawing board now. It's time to start training now signing to get your mind right because every season is different, I'm thinking. Fast all you gotTA? Do is John Pyre no, I start doing puzzles. I gotTA start doing that. I not only do I had to build my body by happened. Build my mind mentally just being his game Charles I. Wow, you have to be a well rounded player so. Then, that's when I did. Are you the one five years ago? You know the show I did. Before that was a dating show called baggage on the road hosted by Jerry Springer on the. Yes only gave show. At me. That's the one that had like the suitcases and you had to. Guess who I guess WHO's baggage it was it was a dirty secret. Secret, that was. Wouldn't that show the that's? How are you the one cutter? That's called. So it was hilarious man, and then next thing you know all you want. And Hawaii for a whole month, and this is how God works. I Lilly graduated college. Would a communication degree I was working at club industry was working so four or five o'clock in the morning seen I was a door guy. Our was the guy picking up the bottles. That's why I fell in love with and I was also lower with the gym. So after I graduated, I talked to my agent. Now that Yo, I might just move out to La chasing my career in this. Go to that. "Make a play that throw bananas in, and maybe this week bananas going to try to turn around and throw Corean as retribution, but that he was so sincerely moved by you coming and talking to them that they that he decided to to give you request. It puts you in and I'm just wondering based. Based on what you what you said a couple know an answer about the bunker because we were everybody talking about this comes on. Do we think we're GONNA? Leave this season and a future seasons whatever that looks like this show that what happened the spunk that there's going to be sort of a bonding effect where the relationships are stronger for whatever reasons because Bushel went through. I think the bond is a lot stronger would mean a lot of competitors there. A lot of people getting I'd get a lot of respect for a lot of people. In a lot of like me and being in a bunker little when each other. We spend a lot about each other a lot name. You learn a lot once you start listening, you know. Not, just watching people just actually listen to the person and where they come from what they're fighting for. Because we're all fighting for summer, man, you know if it's family if it's pretty a career, if it's for something dude in we all have loved ones that we miss back at home and it's hard to be a deal for so long and we'll family at the end of the day. You gotta realize what show comes on two times a year. Maybe so, where would each other two times? Maybe we get that call, so we become a little small family. Now, we might be a dysfunctional family. Bought us together and we come from all parts of the world. They. We do in his crazy to put us all at one bunker and expect these people to get along with all the guys all in being Alpha's. Come on now. This is a scientific experiment. Is Experiment Twenty people ten guys woman, five million dollars, the each other light each down each other in the back a couple of each other, and you know and try to make it to the top. The biggest thing is season and I wanNA thank you t J. Thank you so reds gall! We changed the game up TV. The. Baby a reg golden. You'd have to get a reds. Go to qualify for t this final than you actually got true yourself. You Tube yourself in purgatory qualified. That's the way it should be. You're not just skating by not just gave him by on this season winding. Somebody's back. You're not just getting. Your the underdog or They're saving for the last bit, so they can go against you. It's not like that you have to earn your way into the final, and that's what I love the by per season. I think viewers spans love, too. Don't get me wrong. Everybody loves the politics game and I. Know plays a huge part of the game and that kind of takes away from it, but does it really does it really because you still politic your way into the game? You'll go and get to certain opponent and you got a respect. Rogan Rogan Dingo into one elimination last season, one elimination and For Him Danny. Go get to J. then. He called Jake Yeah. And, I'm not saying Jason. Competitor I'm not taking that. Let's be real the reason why WanNa. Get Day because he was a smaller tuning. Do we to take four? And that's truly a Rogan did. That's what that's Ginny. DID AGAINST JIM? We've also that we all saw that. Play up to so. Rogin going back in there against me I think it, I think he needed to solidify himself that he needs a true competitor, but he's compete. Escape by so. TJ. Even though..

What kind of friends? As just a total mess right, but ever since that they man. We've locked with each other. We spent so much time out side of the game in La. We, I've met his mom and his grandma I know his dad. He knows my mom's came at Thanksgiving needs. My family is call me for advice. Emperor Advice. He seen you might worse. I've seen him at his worse. And I'm not just talking about their talents I'm talking about outside of the challenge and just going through life, and how we're so much alike in how we grew up in what we want for each other. Who is? TV to bring us together and it's. Lucky to have a brother. I got lucky. Best Rain and a brother and I will always be here that Brim I will always be no matter what I've always have his back even when? All guns are aiming at me. We ride or die for each other, and we've always said that no matter how much is on the line, we'll always have each other back in thick and thin. Would you win in the whole voted? You and Corey turn around and watched you go down into purgatory and I turned over to my left. My wife was sobbing when you win it and ended. Corey started get allies watering and I was about to lose myself. Did you shut it to your last night while you're watching Miss Nelson. You might as well session at a tier. I did now gonNA be honest. which because Corey didn't know, he didn't know I to-, Johnny in college and cakes you vote in. He didn't find out until we'd got under toy. And I wrote him a letter before going into elimination, because it takes our to get to eliminate predatory to get there, so we sit next to each other on a bus and he's like constantly. I could see in his head. He's thinking. He's thinking about the elimination all day all day. Stretching were talking. We're talking and I can just see. Beyond back in my head I already knew I was going in, but I do want to tell him because I didn't want him to change. My mind and I didn't want him to change Kyle's Meyer. I didn't want him to change giants or Casey. I want to tell him van got bills. I brought up just in case. I cannot talk to you again to bring it home. This is your season your season. Bro And you know what? I. Don't regret this now one bit. Let's go get it. Affects I, love that so much one of my favorite things from really this whole season as we. Saw You stand up for ISA. Become friends with Baileigh. Really like grow your personal relationship with people in the house. It became really apparent. That one of your biggest rivals used to be johnny and you guys are kind of friends now. How do they? For, this season. All my God. You know that is a question. I've gotten a lot on. Everybody knows Johnny's I've never seen either I at all, but this season. I think it was the bunker. I think of being in that bunker, and you don't realize we only had each other. It wasn't like future citizens where we had the different like we had a pool at the hot tub. We were partying on day. No, this bunker bought together. It really did because I've seen johnny his worse he. It was a moment that he didn't want to be. Here, was sick in bed could even get out of bed. He didn't want to be there anymore. He's like. Dude, but with him winning that reds go, it brought him back alive, but what brought us together man having each other means. Johnny had talks. One talks and we were laughing with smile, you know it was Kinda rough in the beginning when we first got, they realized we all had a bad or by okay. WHO's GonNa? Come back I you know I said Johnny's name. I. Said name was expected, but one thing he he came up. You mean on what Nelson I respect you for saying my name in that during your vote away. At least you stick to your guns, unlike other people, a lot of other people were supposed to stage names what they did it. They used mine and he respected the fact that I stayed loyal. To my word so after that meet him just started having conversations. We started talking and we. We start the last. Job is a good to at the end of the day. He he's a character. You should make the plays it. He's. He's a veterans gain. You gotTA respect the man's game. Guy Respect what he's done for the challenge in general man and don't tell him I said this. kind of like a little bit i. do like a little, I'm not GONNA lie. That'd be respected that, but that's between you and I need him came a long way and writing I. Call Him my friend now when it comes to this game alliances. that. Said about West. That's what he said about West. It's hard because you know he did. Try To coin against each other out there. I not and. I said it name a soon as I could assu the house going against them. That's one of the highlights. Every season is seeing how it is that Johnny's GonNa turn typ against each other and. Try to eliminate each other and challenge. We've. History was to repeat itself. You gotta realize throughout the seasons it's always mean hunter hunter, cory or Corrie, not going against chuck up and. They know that they tried to do this season, but you know what happened. West was up. Was Up there and expanding the bear. The bear little lesson, so that's what happened, baby. Funny because this is one of Charlie crabs his theories a couple of weeks ago where we thought that maybe in. The daily elimination of the daily challenge where you're all holding up the barrels and he was the one who ended up winning that court is trying to.

"You. What's what's dealer now? What's. I don't know. The deal of Nelson. Nelson the is the gift we do not serve. Like Nelson. He's got a great heart. Is a character either character. He really is very supportive. Of of course he's very loyal to Corey. There were like Luke I think what he's doing the season actually really smart because he's playing his role team. Right. Away, he really is man. So, Nelson this is. This is GONNA be. Of never unless you come back on the final version ever of what's the deal with Nelson so? I just want to ask you just so the audience understand a little better. When you have these two Nelson's. You see throughout the season. How do you kind of reconcile those two in your own mind so basically? I was just playing a Carjon giving walking into the season I looked to my left Elektra Ryan and I'm like damn all I got. Is Cory here all these new prospects? All the people I did play with season's pass. Hate me. I have no alliance here at all. And all and I'm thinking okay. Corey is cool with Jenna. He's cool with Kayla Cooling Lisa coolest guys, so he can only protect me so much. You know at that time, so I had to go out looking to build a lines I had to build friendships, and if you position and you look around, you see prospects. Okay, you got J.. J. The prospect he's coming from excellent and beach. Just me. He doesn't know nobody he does have no lines. No way has reached out. That would number one. They're not Belius. Widening to counteract that comes into its two votes been being prospects on my thinking. Okay I can talk to them to, and then I just started putting my hands in every little basket. I'm like you know what I promise you. This I can protect you this week. Never said I never said I was going to take you to the final. You know always be redefining line people. I have to do what I have to do to make it every week. This game changes up every week. Everybody knows WHO's my number. One is that's not going to change, but if I can help you that week. I'M GONNA. Tell you I'm GonNa. Help you that a week because I know damn well when push comes to shove, and they get rid of these prospects, it's GonNa come down to me. It's going to do down to me and then I would put myself in our hallway Taylor, would a niece. Would Jen the Holy Trinity Down. Four girls at a run against me something in my head. At the going off our niece indoor knock on Kayla. I was like this no way on building alliance. Nobody's GonNa Trust me. Nobody's GonNa WanNa work with me. They see what I speak my mind I'm very outspoken and sometimes you know. My mouth gets me in trouble. We all know that we all know that. It does and There's a lot of things I. Regret this season, but I always told people man. It's not how you fall a time. You get back up. I've always lived by that. And you know a lot of people eight in the hotel situation kneeling and way. I talked her. It was hard for me to even watch TV. I got a phone call right after my mom as Jesus really upset me disappointed because she didn't raise me to raise my voice that any woman like that and make her feel some type of way so watching that it made me realize I wa even moments after that nine Washington on TV moments after that when people which it's all to me what I did I. Take Time to myself. Like Nelson this is not who you are. Why you when these people get. The best view is not in your character, but you gotta realize being in that bunker being locked up with people. Some people don't like not seeing any daylight. Living a nightmare every day waking up in a cold and Living a nightmare I was than everything gets me. And I definitely lost myself in that bunker a little bit i. let them get the best in the, but as time went on and I, saw like okay. Nelson take a moment breathe talk to your best friend and get your together. Did you together like I, said, having regrets Keva I. DO regret the way I talked to her and I wish I could take back, but I can't I apologize for and his time from do better and move on from the situation, and there's a lot of people that judge me for that I got a lot of backlash. And I respected everybody's opinion. If you like. If you did my me, no matter what and I knew I was wrong. So you kind of talked about coming into this season. You're one ally your one friend. You knew you were gonNA. Have Corey by your side? Can you talk to us about your friendship with Corey because it is heartwarming? We love the two of you together..

"Thought for Nelson's attorney go to. That bell was close to it. So, I don't know. I mean I'm sure you guys have been on sidelines for some football game nl. The worst view in football is on the sideline. And yet we were watching TV constantly crush coaches. For in game decision making how did you not see that? Why didn't you challenge it? Why are you calling time out? Why didn't you realize the down and distance all this stuff? Coaches, our players and it's like when you're on the field. It's the worst view. I make that analogy because we're sitting here like I agree with you. It's like manny kind of does looks you know forty percent away or sixty percent of the way there to the. But it feels like one of those things that when you're corey, you're fifty yards away. You've got a twenty five foot vertical view. Lot Easier said than done I I. Don't begrudge. I actually thought Nelson Arab fairly well understood the binary outcome side of this where it doesn't really matter whether you like show. Good effort. It's winter you lose, but I was more impressed than I. Kind of expected myself to be. Also be fair to Nelson. If any, we've got a concussion on this show, it was Nelson because Rogan came in crowded the helmet down, and there was a helmet collision on the first hall brawl. Surprise Hall still exists stunned. Hundred absolutely stunned. It's one of the differentiating factors that make this show still great is that they just lean into the fact that the Oklahoma drill is still acceptable the challenge we have a working theory that reason they do these in like Croatia and prognosis. Is because they couldn't get away with half of these competitions in America. That's actually a really good point. You gotta wonder like what kind of labor will be required if we were I. Don't Know Dunno Zarrella different medical wave of this was conducted like I. Don't know some really cool place in Arizona, or California or something. Maybe that's the reason why, besides the fact that it's a really cool thing to do one site TJ Lavin Dream job. We all know that establish fact. Best final question field. Dream Nfl Hall who you got Aaron Donald. And Derek. You. Going back and forth though I can't even imagine what that looks like can actually I don't want to imagine what that looks like. That would be absolutely scintillating I I think we get like an explosion of Plexiglas, some around middle of the of the. Field you're great, join us. It sounds like your dogs are wrapping up right now. Give them nice pets for us. But yeah you. Coming on and hope you enjoy the rest of the challenge. Back to you guys, thank you so much for having me on and keeping the definitive number one challenge podcast ESPN, but in the world. Love that that's aspirational. We're joined now by WANNA. Say Our favorites challenger of the season and. You've already here. Already, no! One of the nicest people just in the conversations that we've had I feel like we're friends with Nelson already and I'm sure he's just nice like this to everybody. Makes everyone feel like this or we're joined now by Nelson Thomas who in a way this season has been the Nelson season, even though you didn't make it to the final. Right right? Hey, what's up, everybody? I'm happy to join your. It's a blessing. The air getting to talk to. Man I wish I can call. It's my season. I've been I've been gone for two seasons, so you know it's. It's not over that's. That's what I'm not gonNA. Call it Nelson Season I'm going to call it the beginning. season. NOG missing a lot of big change, a lot of growing, and that's one of these things I've learned from the Shah growing a lot Michelle and If it wasn't show to be honest with you being on a challenge I, don't know where I would be so it's a blessing in disguise in from TV giving me the opportunity to show every side of me because all my layers came out this evening I think everybody saw each layer of me and Some people weren't proud of some people. Some. People hated me. You know some people love me, and that's the kind of things you deal with being honest. Reality is because people see everything. Lasting. They see on TV and I think that's who you are so I. Thank God that emptied definitely showed the good side of me so Louis in last night was pretty emotional for all of us watching it. It was you know an incredible moment of friendship and strength on your part. What was it like watching that episode back for you? It was hard, it was it was hard because I didn't get the job done. And I still to this day because seeing close I was to winning Luma, nation. Eyelid jumped out of my couch and scream and started cussing yelling at myself. Nelson are you serious you? Would this close this close? And in this takes me back to win. Almost one China's twenty nine. When I lost a C. T. by two minutes being this close, and this is my second time being as close final through my second time means close to the fire. No. watching this back on TV. I've talked everything and I kind of got a little sad. And it just makes me want to get back into the gym and makes me to even work ten times harder, and because if you saw man, I lost my focus, I lost my focus. I was still close to the bail. My Mind said that moment was. Don't let go rogan leg Rogan. Focused on where my bell was where I should have been you know when it comes to that limitation, not only do you have to worry about your opponent? You have to know your surroundings and where you're at and I lost track of that. Oh, and dad, initial impact old Margai. New saw my. Is You saw to scratch? Going to tell you my body looked like after my shoulder. My Dad, my hit. You know, but do in a moment. You knew not even still in pain. Paint until it was all over I'll walk out. And I fell down on one knee I was like wow, that was a hit, and not only that second round. When TJ said. Get ready for the second round. I didn't think twice. I was ready to go. Because I knew I had the endurance, that row did half I knew I was ready to go out now and I can tell looking at. He was reading so hard that I can go again right now, but what I should be done is the time. Relaxed Brie and realize my mistake which I didn't. I was so focused on going into the second round I didn't realize what I did wrong in the first round because I I was upset at losing I trump. You GotTa realize you got wall more chance until you're going home and that in my head so right then and you're second guessing yourself the end of that I mean it felt like we were in a movie like the end of given Sunday or something where you're just like on the battlefield down there and I think that that kind of with the whole character arc you had this season, which was nothing short of cinematic where we start in a place. You were making. Decisions whereas he kind of said there are some someone head scratchers, but. You Kinda went on this arc where you ended up at a place where you're like one of the most lovable TV characters almost can ever seen so this kind of funny, because you're the only person to challenge which we had a segment around you every single week. We asked every single one of our guests. About you're right, and so I have a segment open now I to play for you, and it shows you kinda where we started and so things. We heard from them where we kinda ended up. Question for.

"Brothers Tim and Matt now colleagues of ours at ESPN. We've got a good number of hockey. Players Hockey, obviously one of the most popular sports in the northeast. You've got so many reputable programs PCB, you. We have a ton of other acids and you guys. Also I'm sure are very aware of the fact. That CT is one of the Great Massachusetts Man of all time, and so as a kid I needed to hear him and I found that heerlen seats now there have been some misgivings NC tease resume. Let's be honest. His career has been a little bit topsy turvy. This season is a great testament to that, but that is apex I think he's. He's the most dominant challenge competitor of all time, I at least amongst men, and as a result his heritage in Massachusetts, he became someone that I always followed, and that was really what drew me into the challenge. Why I've kept coming back for more Ct. we watched his highlights on this show numerous times, and he is one of the greatest whole brawl type competitors of all time and a last night's episode. We had a double elimination we had. Had a women's and bins hall, and so as that is basically a glorified version of the Oklahoma drill thought who better to bring on to break this down, then deal Yates, so let's just go through it. Let's hear your notes I've got a lot of thoughts specifically about Janney and watching this one. If you had to make a list of the competitors that were still in the challenge as of last night show Jenny, got to be the question. Question number one you least want face right I mean. She has been top notch start to finish throughout the season and basically checks off every box of a well rounded challenged competitors. She is She's incredible, right? I mean that was like that. The first win for Jenny was not complete. There's always like enough momentum had enough. I would say Drennan to sort of start your opponent just temporarily, but distant, pretty theralac senior. Jeff, who is also good? Story, impressive, yeah, that's actually an interesting point billing, because that shows a difference in hall brawl strategy that we've seen from Jenny compared like Tori Tori sort of approach it like a safety coming downhill hitting Dion Lewis gap back, running back, Jedi last year. It was really about that I impact. Jemmy to me was like she's a dancing bear out there, and I say this as someone who's a former fat kid, former offensive lineman in high school, but she stayed behind her pads. She got extension. Chapter Feet. And she drove the all the way through the Bell I mean that's that's like an offensive lineman drill that they'll teach you from eighth grade through high school. Yeah feel talk us through that technique a little bit because that was it. She moved e pretty pretty easily from start to finish I was thinking about this. If I were ever put into hall, and I think the first thing that if I were whether I were the superior physical specimen, or the inferior physical specimen I, do think there is something to be said about being the first competitor past the halfway point of the hall because of your past the halfway point. Point you? The isn't a mate. I can turn a fight through or I can just ole this person. Let him or her run right past me and just hope that seed carries me over. I think Jenny. Just said you know what I'd only faster to be midway point when I'm GonNa meet, you force on force at eventually, it was like it's going GonNa, be fun for a second I'm GONNA. Let you kind of sort of be dragged behind me almost like. When my dog refuses to keep walking, and I brought him on the leash, he's just laying on the ground. I'm like just keep on here, but we gotta get back to the House. You can have your breakfast lunch and then next thing you know it's just like now I'm GonNa break and The her knees even touch the ground. Johnny at all like I. Don't think this never came to a stop to the point that she had to reset her feet. This was Derrick Henry in some ways right? This was derrick. Henry Against Roy Thomas in the playoffs. Yeah actually Kinda takes us into the men's hall and that pitted. Group in against Nelson, so let me start by saying. I got kind of a bone to pick with throughout season, and if he's come on, the show is going to be on the show later. Just don't tell them to listen to this part. 'cause rogue into probably inflict pain on me if you so desire but Rogan's power play early in the season was smart in the sense that he wanted that. That red skull early, which is really smart as we saw late in the season, people are you know Kyle is trying to offer himself up to the house loads and he's getting overruled by quarry in the family. Thing it's like. How can you argue against the guy trying to win money for his kids? But rogin early on in the season plays the macho man car like I'm going to go out there. Is If taken out? Jay is some substantial badge of honor. Let's be honest with ourselves. J. Defeat of C., T. was surprising, but that was that was beyond. That was a cardiovascular thing right like he had much more stamina than CT, and he happened to break a lot a little bit fast so indeed this tough guy but I think he took the easy way out. One hundred percents. T beating completely agree there. I just think. So, Rogan kind of other me throughout. The. Season because I think he is really tough. As we're watching, you're right now. Where even though Nelson's putting up a much more admirable fight and I was expecting because this is sort of like two guys who they they'd just they'd just locked up and it's a matter of robots got more power. Nelson's a little bit more slippery and like he's got a chance here and books like the door is open. It looks like Nelson is GonNa find the potentially escape and he's. He's close enough, and he's fast enough that he can. He can feel victory at least one of the next necessary to victories, and instead Rogan ends up. Doing Rogan does which is just started finding power cruet, but I'm just album, Rogan, this season is that. Is that too unfair? Our stats guy also regularly trashes Rogan I. Think we traffic a few cases Rogan. Hey, you're listening still the part, find yourself. We'd love to hear your. We love here perspective on this. Is the first challenger to pay any attention to us. Twitter so liked him for a few days. That was very early on in the season, so we're not just doing anything you said. Yeah, yeah, seeing if he does come on the podcast. My Bet, it's funny I eat or respect them this year last year. When he won the title, he didn't go in once. I don't think to an elimination and this is still respect this not at all, but it's still a step up. Up from his less respectable season last season. That's actually a very fair point. Maybe I need to rethink my stance on rolling this year. I just thought that he played up the really dramatic. I'm taking Jay out because Jay deserves it and this is personal I'm like dude your ticket. You're taking out Jay because you look at a guy who we don't have the official lightweight, but like you only got about six inches and one hundred pounds on him and you want that read. About the J. fagging concussion conspiracy theory that Kravitz brought up. That is an interesting. Very interesting thought there, but Jay also got clocked like Jake got locked and when I saw that hit I just wanted them to feel and see like Jay Jays last name. Jay was a great competitor. Challenge has been medically retired. So feel I have one question one specific technique question here on the Nelson Rogan Hall which is, we saw Nelson. Take a lot of heat in route. One of the hall brawl four when he pulled. Rogan almost like it looks like they're like by polls on the Plexiglas, little hallway almost to his second pull, where he was pretty close to his bell and Corinne others on. Hey, like turn and go the bell right, but I don't know if Mr couldn't see it. Still up here. It looked like Roden was almost able to on a horse collar, Nelson, a little bit Graham around back of the shoulder pads, and holding a place to re grip him, so I don't know that it was as easy as people may be..

"Welcome. To another episode of Espn Number One challenge podcast I'm Billy Gill. I'm joined by Charlie jump you. Charlie Mr Crafts Crafts and e Lee. Let's guys what an exciting episode of the challenge last week. What an exciting episode of ESPN'S NUMBER! One Challenge podcast we have for you today Nelson The star of the last episodes on the show today and we brought in the big guns field. Yates is going to be breaking down some hall brawls with, but before we get to all that season aid heavy metals inside the Corolla. Corolla gymnastics empire is a groundbreaking seven part podcast series. It takes listeners on deep dive into the lives and influence of Bela Marta the most successful and controversial coaches in USA gymnastics history to listen to the trailers subscribe now to the thirty for thirty feet on apple podcasts. The whole season drops. Tuesday July fourteenth on Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts to talk about the challenge. Stop to it to our. Our listeners, the SCOTTIES. We're going to get to the elimination. I know everyone wants to talk about the hall brawls. Everyone wants to talk about Nelson will get there. We should start with the daily challenge in what a daily challenge was. Essentially you had our challenders in harnesses on top of barrels, and you had one challenge at a time. Go car bowling and drive a car. It hit the brake in drift and try. Try to knock down as many barrels as possible, and there was a wide range of outcomes. Initially, we had Casey go first, and she ended up. Being the female winner of the competition in everyone is around twelve dating barrels. Bananas Went Top and bananas has a ton of experience of all of these challenges he does I. Look Know Action Sports. He dominated for the guy's not gonna all the barrels except for one person. But then we had the stars of the show. We had Kyle Nelson. This is the great part of the challenge. Because Kyle's dad is a stunt driver. And he just hit the brake a hundred yards in front of these barrels, and did nothing Nelson at least had the artist streets at like have his car take a five forty spin out, or that seemed impossible. It's not even like hitting other and bowling. It's like if you throw the ball and it just totally sideswipes all of them and knocks absolutely nothing down because you went deep enough he. He just missed absolutely everything I have a deep theory on Kyle in this hopefully just can. Maybe maybe this is a bit of a kyle apologised. Take, but I'm thinking that. Maybe he spent so much time around his dad's sunsets, and maybe they had slip release. He really hit the brakes early and go there. Maybe he was expecting because I was trying to figure out the liquid they had underneath. Underneath the tires. Is that a slick material? Can you get good like you know? Slide out from that? And so in my mind, I think probably thought hey, I can hit this early and I'm was going to go sliding through, and that was not the case. He stopped very short in my thought was kyle in Nelson didn't hit anything does that in theory makes them better drivers because they didn't. Didn't can things conspiracy theory alert I was looking at some of the competitors on some of the attempts, and I'm going to point out one in particular that I saw, and it was in Johnny Bananas Attempt in the back left corner in the shot from behind appear to be Melissa just kind of almost hopping off her barrels when the car didn't necessarily come close enough to hit the barrels. That happened with Corey as well when couriers trying to catch, bananas. Jumped off his barrel, so I was trying to figure out if it was may be a thing where they got scared because the car was coming at you don't know how you're gonNA react when cars flying at you and you're just standing on a couple of plastic barrels whatever they're made out of, or how much of that was a? We want this person in power. Wuxi daisy just fell off my barrels. That's five extra barrels for your total. Not The exact same thing I also thought it was so pointless for to be on top of the barrels because they just hung merit. Top of the harness was the point I. Totally agree not also brought me to the my other question of the head from this challenge we had twelve challengers go in total, probably like I don't know sixty seconds of actual challenge that took place. This must've taken hours so to harness the people in stack at three barrels on top of each other lift each person up on their harness, and put them back on top of the barrels. It made no sense it was. A logistical nightmare had to be production anyway bananas in Casey wants. Amazon Casey. What the tribunal and they had an option to bring someone in right in what was it? We saw the conversation that was happening. Right before this. where cow SORTA was begging. Maybe he wasn't begging. It's cal it both ways Kyle Bananas. Whoever wins. Bring the other person and I think that was correct assessment so essentially there was a debate between Casey wanted to bring Fassi bananas. Bananas One bringing Kyle. Bananas Number, one Vesey Casey's number. One Bananas Logic was basically that Kyle has no one else in the house. If he doesn't get in tribunal, he will be the house, vote into. He had to protect him in the logic for that was. No one wants to throw in fast because the rest of the guys don't want to face Vesey I would have given. Any sum of money. Maybe any somebody would pay a lot of money to see if Bessie Rogan hall out of legacy festive make that tribunal income I'll be like Yup I wanNA makes good. TV although I'll head on down. I was thinking the same thing. I was thinking like he made such a point of. Being like I'm the biggest threat to bananas. If you'd smart throw me and they didn't even put him in the tribunal I, wonder if he. Down to purgatory, it was like wow, this is a hall drawl I. Actually Wish I had put myself in the position to throw myself in the ring. So, Rogin essentially volunteered to go in. He knew the house. Is GonNa vote against him? And then in the tribunal? They nominated Korean, Nelson, so it was one of the two of them against Rogin, and that brought us to sort of the climax of the entire season I mean obviously we'll have a final down the road, which is going to be grueling, he says screwing final ever, but just seeing. Nelson GO TO BANANAS IN GO TO KYLE BE LIKE! This is my best friend. He's got a daughter at home and a child on the way I wanNA, throw myself in. Be a good friend to him and give him the best shot at winning and do it in a way, though just so personal, because it wasn't like heroism for memos in active like I truly love my friend and I want to do what's best for him. It was like going full circle with Nelly and it was like it was great to see it. It is the most guy was kinda crazy because he's overshadowed will we had been building up for for weeks? And not you know early on in the season which is we thought that he was gonNA end up in a hall brawl and Jenny's completely botched the politics side of the game and got herself voted in somehow, and then they'd tossed in d. to go against her, and it's something that we have been looking forward to the entire season. and Nelly just stole the show like he stole the show by volunteering to go into that his friend. Cory could have a better shot at winning million dollars for his two kids. Yeah, and obviously we'll talk to Nelson little bit later about some of that, but I mean that was a legitimately moving tear jerking moment, I mean I was on a sofa with my wife who was like sobbing I feel like it's really interesting how Nelson must have had a sort of reflective moment after old the things that happened earlier in the. The season Kinda cast them in a negative light to say like hey. I carry myself differently for the rest of the season, and then just like went out, and did it and I think we'll again we'll get into this in the interview like out certain people who are having hard times and were upset and who need someone to talk to your. Maybe we're isolated in terms of a House vote in sat down. It was good at talking to them and I. think that you know culminating in his truly selfless moment that that. was touching. Even someone like the most cynical players like banana. WHO's trying to always game? The game in his favor was really genuinely booed by by this gesture. Nelson I thought was just like just amazing television. Your doctor feel about the elimination as daylight. Carr right now. We are debuting a new segment that we are all very excited about Iran ESPN's number, one challenge podcast and I think there's an order of thanks for the segment I. WE HAVE TO GO TO A. Close personal friend Mr Crabs. And then secondarily there. For having our next guest on her podcast, but but finally we're. We're most thankful. The Field Yates for joining us now. Field is not only an NFL expert, but he is a fan of the challenge so feel. Let's start right there. Like how did you become the show? I am from Massachusetts and as you guys may know. We don't have a ton of professional athletes from the State of Massachusetts we have the Great Hasselbeck. Brothers Tim and Matt now colleagues of ours at ESPN. We've got a good number of hockey. Players Hockey, obviously one of the most popular sports in the northeast. You've got so many reputable programs PCB, you..

"With seventy seven W. ABC my next guest making his third visit to the burning into Joe second time with me solo love this guy big time and turning on the first time I saw him he was on which shepherd Smith on fox news and I thought he was the voice of reason to be on with Stephanie role but if the Jordan economists NBC later on this morning he's a great guy so it's with a guide bot Bianchi Bob good morning pal how are you I'm doing well how are you I'm doing great thanks to listen I went on and on about this principle yesterday at this high school down in Florida not far from my home in Boca Raton Spanish river high school who did not fire one of his teachers despite the mom's complaint because he said that the Holocaust is a belief and not a fact and he was reassigned yesterday finally after a lot of pressure from locals and maybe here in New York who knows but it did motivate you Bob to tweet this yesterday said what a very strange place in this country truth and facts all literally no longer a respected commodity over sensationalism and tribalism wanted to kind of expand on that yeah you're right that we've gotten to a place right now with the with all sorts of things like political correctness and tribalism where there is a book process the goods in the people's minds that your respect the hard cold facts if you don't like them if they don't support your view point you just simply disregard them and you know I've been doing a little commentary on the major networks for many many years and nary a problem when you give a legal analysis until the last three or four years were people Sir getting agitated that your vehicle now doesn't support whatever their underlying political belief is and I think one really dangerous time in this country you've been very vocal about this particular issue that this guy gets to a point with a plethora of use not even arguable about the Holocaust this guy is an educator Viscardi warming young mind this guy is supposed to be delivering truth to the students that they would actually in the second largest populace of Holocaust survivors actually did not you're not the night with cable we really can't say this is more of a belief that it is a fact we don't want to offend those people those nuts those maniacs that are out there that say the Holocaust never happened despite all the evidence to the contrary it's just really how how far we've gotten were educators are getting to the point where they don't have the tenacity of troop to be able to speak to these kids what's next are we going to say to people like we never really landed on the moon September eleventh really never happen those buildings didn't come down as a result the term so maybe we we did hear that we heard plenty plenty of these all conspiracy theories I mean that idiot that maniac Alex Jones came out and said sandy hook never really happened so this is not the first time we've seen somebody like this try to discredit or even say something of huge huge massacre never existed out of stones made a living of doing that yeah but you know what which which really compelling for me is that this is a person that we put in charge your trust that.
