"Thousand dollars a year. Seventy eight hundred dollars a year because they'll be enough Revenue from that practice to pay the associate as well as to likely produce small earnings small. Eba so you'll make profit right from the beginning and you're looking for a practice that has potential Perhaps that's a senior doctor who has a limited sir limited range of services that are being provided but perhaps they don't do simple oral surgery. They don't do end. They don't seek it's Perhaps they don't add more sophisticated services like implants and adult ortho and cosmetic dentistry. So we want to practice this under served For sure maybe. One of those important systems in in in your main practice to have mastered is mastering digital marketing. Because you're wanna buy a practice that you can grow now you can grow internally through patient referrals in a case acceptance and all of that but we can accelerate the growth of that practice by really mastering digital marketing Because it's likely that that practice specially if the older doctor. they haven't paid much attention to digital marketing. So you could come in. Let's say you have a great resource like we do For digital market. We use your a marketing agency. Narran equa It's an awesome system. And if we were to buy a second practice we would plug equa into that system and into that practice and we'd get the same kind of results that we're getting now a great way to grow to realize the potential that practice. That isn't being realized today. You know if you if you buy that practice. I was gonna say Absolutely i think i was thinking of a couple of examples. There's one example. This husband is the business person and the wife is a dentist. They have now purchased full practices. I they bought one and then they plugged us into both their marketing and now than they ended up buying a third one the third one he was a situation. The doctor was kind of struggling. Some people don't know how to go be honest and points. He comes to cap. It's kind of bali making it. So he wants to get out of being the owner and he just wants to do dentistry. He likes doing dentistry so they took it over. I'm sure they got a good deal. And then they plugged in all of a sudden. They're business started booming because one of the reasons the previous owner was struggling. Is he didn't have a marketing system. So it was just slowly growing really painfully. Grow slowly growing So i agree. And if if if it's okay with you got we could include a marketing strategy meeting with lila. It's no cost. we'll put a link. Anyone who's interested can have a review director marketing and that she will develop a twelve month. Plan for you. it's nine hundred dollar value. just have the conversation. You know And if if this might be a useful resource for you. You'll find that at no cost for our our listeners. Absolutely gotta yes thank you know. Let's talk about the financial model in this In your second practice assuming you're not working in it as a dentist. I'd like to see at least a twenty percent. Eba earnings before interest. Taxes depreciation emmers asian at least twenty percent of of the practice. That's after paying your associated paying your partner paying your dentist at paying all expenses so if that practice was initially a seven hundred thousand dollar practice and you're starting to grow it through marketing and other other strategies and it becomes a million dollar practice Ideally i like to see about twenty percent abbas so there's a a two hundred thousand dollars annual income that comes from that practice one more tip before we get to our questions one more tip that i wanna share. Here's just a very detailed tip that i think about. We've seen this that and we'd use us from my client base and it makes a lot of sense in your prime practice. One that you work. What i would encourage you to do is is to bring in a second doctor and develop that dr full potential in your practice with the idea. Let that dr know whether some so shooter partner that you plan to grow and once we find the right situation we're gonna put you in the next practice You know we're going to incubate you and this practice and then we're gonna put you as a lead denison the next practice because then that person knows your system your clinical systems and can have consistency in the other practice. So you use your practice as an incubator for that associated doctor and you can do this again and again and again in the same way that the question said if only one practice is good You know would it makes sense to own to. Why can answer that. You'd ask a different way. If owning two practices it is good. What about owning four. Well that's how you could grow and again come back to that main question the main criteria beginning in the beginning. No yourself at no yourself before you do that while they are. And i hope we've shared some brats inspiration for those and and until what distance inspiring because there are some brilliant dental entrepreneurs Who are have multiple practices and they love what they do. They absolutely love what they do. one of the things. I wanna protect when we do that is to make sure that through all of this. We maintain a positive work. Life balance work life belts. If growing your dental enterprise means that everything else in your life suffers than that's not going to be successful so through all this. I want you to maintain a positive work life bounce now granted just got more complicated With that criteria shirt but In that famous thing it's been done before it must be possible. I have clients with my client base that on multiple practices and also have good work like ballot. So if it's been been done before it must be possible so this can't be done and if you have an entrepreneurial spirit spirit And you're willing to work for this. This might be it. It'd be very exciting to go stealth near we've got some great questions coming up. Let's hit pause on the coaching and action segment. Get.

"Launch that with a running head start now What size practiced by remembering of associate doctrine. That second practice. I think there's a sweet spot and that's a practice that is producing somewhere between seven and eight hundred thousand dollars a year. "From edmunds dot com. How are you. I'm good matt. Thank you are you doing. I'm doing well. We're we're a man down today a goldberg. Has he legit. He has a doctor appointment to examine. His knee was damaged on his knee. For those of you are thinking hey was part of this. Show it summer slam. No it's not just part of the show down. He's what are you gonna do is injured but Yeah glad to have you on the show. It's it's it feels like it's been a minute. Although i think you're on not too long ago you've just been running around doing a bunch of things going above and beyond to some fun stuff of You know we talked about. Initially i think last week we talked about the initial reactions to the ford raptor. The revised raptor gen three. I guess raptor we call it and we'd kind of been waiting on this tesla plaid and you've been doing a deep dive into this thing and having some fun with it for sure so we definitely want to talk about talk about that and then a if not this week. We'll get into it next week but Our friends over at hennessy. Just dropped off the hennessy. Trx the ram trx. The mammoth one thousand. It is a one thousand horsepower. Trx and it's been quite modified with magnusson supercharge. I believe and a number of other bits and stuff in it and it is. It is impressive to say to say the least now that being said we all know that goldberg has been testing his goldberg's garage package. It's a modified supercharge package for his trx and now that that testing has been done. He sent it back for twin turbo so his nine hundred and eighty horsepower wasn't enough i think he's going for twelve or something hundred horsepower and and by the way just a follow up a alastair his charger that we talked about he's doing. The twin. turbo charger has parachute in the back. And the you know the big tires and and the roll cage and stuff so the initial dyno tests came in about fifteen hundred horsepower and then when they spun bearing and rebuilt the motor. They did some other mods. And i think on race gas i think he's said he's putting down just over seventeen hundred tires. It's like seventeen twenty three or something like that. So he's got. I always know that. Trx needed more powerful these fundamental issue. That's that's my thought to. The at seven hundred and seven horsepower was a little light little weak sauce and now now they got the hot sauce in there. Because it's it's one. I i just i just open it up. I was just getting on the on the freeway this morning. And there's just a small bit on the small free wherever there's there's no traffic before you just pile into l. a. traffic. You can't do anything and just put it in sport mode as instructed by the guys at hennessy. put it in. Sport mode hammered down. And it's it's a little scary. It's a little scary fast. And maybe it doesn't need the big offroad tires and it's start cutting weaving in the road a little bit but man this thing just just squats down and takes also but did it with a bunch of fabulous noise. Unlike what you've been driving recently with zero zero basically zero noise. Let's get into that a little bit. You got your hands on. A tesla plaid. I'm sure your your your friends. Over at tesla handed one over. No questions asked. Yeah they haven't really been speaking to us since we did. The range tested so Yeah we ended up the companies out that used the but i They basically supply cost to the industry. So if you're developing call you can actually rent from them one of the rivals because sometimes it's difficult for manufactures out to get hold of the budgets so we use them and we actually rented this call about five days across this four grand so quiet chunky bass so he did all sorts of things with a full fully instrumented tax day with doesn't drag racing leaking into and everything else but finally got amazon old one thousand and twenty power lots of strive anybody if they have the plot and believe me it feels like one thousand and twenty horsepower. It's a very different experience. 'cause you're right about at driven the trx are the cause. Gt five hundred. We own and things like that with with some with getting on seventy eight hundred dollars pa but when you get instantaneous. Shove of evey and everything silent. H h said experience. Unlike anything you've had before extraordinary with is a fantastic footage in the film of jonathan faull ahead of testing. Why we why we run all off. Figures act That that plottings ri- only edge of what's feasible But we gave it a go is able to do the quarter mile successfully but we were pulling over just over a hundred and fifty at the end of the coulter which he's really harry on a on a on a relatively tight tight tight straight at the So walkers through you guys got ahold of this thing you. You grabbed a rental tesla a plaid and the plaid is outfitted. There's not like a plaid competition package sport package or whatever so you get the plant and that's pretty much equipped with everything. There's not really many options you can get. I don't know if that are auto-pilot crap can can is a the the full self driving which is any books about to us at ten grand optional. Watching you can subscribe monthly now. The other thing that you can do which was fitted to our car. And i suspect most people will go for. Is the bigger wheel rooms. Which actually as quite a big impact on the range but makes me. We'll go for it because it looks cool and probably saw. I'm i'm driven only on the small rims. So let's face it it yet paul from a different color of Different wheel rims and away. You go so this fall so the one that we had this one hundred thirty five hundred thirty five brands thousand twenty whole spa and then you could add their their their autopilot. Or whatever for ten grants do you can spend one hundred forty five thousand on this thing. If you all all all you rent it. Yeah our rigid or are you lease the ex. Yeah right yeah. Yeah the pilots day can you. Yeah okay so so. This is the word. I'm looking for crime rather than htay rocket. You can get your your your monthly your monthly payment onto that. Walk some start with the car. Some of the differences of the car. One of the things i noticed was a bit of offender flare going on. Is that just in the rear. Is that on all four corners are there are some subtle differences on the car right. There are awesome. Subtle differences You get a slightly flood wheel spacey. So they can accommodate the larger wheels. Tie you get a modest sort of defuse type thing to to help with flo now in theory that the plot will do two hundred miles zarrella but at the moment says the has sold at that out so he's limited electronically to one hundred sixty three at the moment and apparent. If you buy one at some point in the future they will die to software and now you can do two hundred but you know when that will be who knows an nfl from a really subtle carbon carbon-fiber lip spoiler on the on the. That's pretty much it. Which i kinda like. I said in the in the video that we did on youtube channel right now. The full review. I said he actually reminds me of the mercedes. Five hundred from the nineties which porsche develops a mercedes was a really cool. Call purposely q. 'cause we used to sign europe and i'd like that it doesn't i mean there's a very tiny plot by on the Without says so compared to something like five or a mercedes. it's it's really simple really understated. So let's talk a little bit about. I mean might as well just jump into the performance of this thing and your video you did a full did a full walk around and he brought it out your test track and you had your your team out there as well..

"That's the only thing you have to tell me. No other updates about the world at large trump tries to steal the election. But it's fine for the most part. He didn't get to do it so it's yet me that punk now ass speaking of telling people would you tell someone that you replaced their vase. I feel like the two. I think this person. I think morality is being very moral. Perhaps overly moral because i feel like there's two different paths. One is like if you don't want to replace this thing. You could come clean and be like. I'm so sorry i broke the vase I will buy you a new one and then like the hope is that they don't worry about it. It was really expensive. It was a gift. Yada yada. But i feel like you come clean if you want that like that small chance of not actually having to replace vase what. This person did was actually really nice. They were like. I'm not going to like fess up and have a weird conversation about like if i can afford it. I'm not going to put them in that place. I'm just gonna replace like-for-like in-kind replaced the vase income. And and i don't think since you took the onus you put it on yourself. I don't think you have to say that you replace the vase. You ate the cost. Yeah but you should. What does she steps on. A piece of porcelain pruder. Will you have to clean it. I mean they have to do the work correctly. You get the new ause you clean up all of the mess you hide everything or you fix everything and then you've done the work so you don't have to have the sad part happened. Which is the conversation. I think you do replace the vase but then on the way out. It's like by the way i'm a dumb ass and i forgot to realize that you'd read me a mouse infested apartment. I'm not paying for this shit. It actually startled me to the point that i broke a vase which i did replace and i'm taking them. I replaced in-kind. Actually what does that mean like for like same vase the very least the same style. It was hype. That's the volume at a seventy six gas station. Where did you get the original gucci store. Seventy eight hundred dollars. What's gucci with her. She's all that so you would not say anything. I would say something. Because i would feel too bad i would. I would not feel bad. But i would be afraid that i would get caught. Yeah that and really the fear of getting caught is more important than being quote unquote moral. Because it's honestly like when you say. I wanna do the right thing. You don't wanna do the right thing. You just want to get away with this fucking crime and if she looks at a fucking nanny cam sees that you broke something and she calls you out on it. You're stuck you don't know whether continued digging a hole or not shout to her animated series on patriots ducks. That's right. shout out to stock new episode this week so check that out as well. Thank you appreciate it. Yeah you you paid for. It replaced it kind in china. But i feel like this person is the guilt. Is eating her alive. So i think she should say something she helping with the guilt. I don't think it needs to eat you alive. I think you've done the right thing by replacing the vase. In-kind yes. I know i know you think it was done. Income was done in guide to do it. All right cool. let's take a break things from sponsors. You'd sell it in the recycler newspaper. Remember the recycler. Well and the recycler would come out. Thursday morning right. It was somewhere between a magazine and newspaper concert. Like the outside of it had kind of just a little bit more upgraded it such away and you just go and you open it up. And you'd go. Find your datsun pickup. Try go skimming down. The thing and old mustang. The whole thing is you had to get to these guys if there is a deal out there and you waited until friday. The paper came out thursday morning. It was gone. Yeah all go sorry already gone right so the idea was to get your hands on the paper right when it came out at seven. Am service for those who don't remember really pre internet. I mean yeah this was. This wasn't right. So i i had this I was selling my my nissan eighty four nissan pickup truck in the wish. Yeah i had It's funny because there were a handful of all. We'll just call him. Armenian guys who did used car deals. Who right could they would call wednesday night at nine o'clock wednesday eight nine and they'd go like is You have pickup truck and go. Yeah how did you have. I c- in paper. They had a connection. They lose guy on the inside with a printing the printed them and van. Is it called. Like nine as i get Doctor she goes to college. And i'd go. Okay don't you wanna come look It's okay How many miles. What is eighty four sixteen. Give you nine hundred. And i'd go. Will your daughter's going to drive it to kars. Yes yes well. Don't you wanna come see. bring your. she's okay. All these guys did as have those used car lots right. I had one guy by the way earlier. Go with a old mazda pickup truck. I had go let me take it to a mechanic. And then he'd bring it to. Hey since the engines. Logan still buy from you but now five hundred dollars and so the one guy he came out. I put my eighty four nissan truck for sale and he came out to come look at it on thursday and two things. The the fender on the driver's side had been all caved in and i bought one of those primer sheet metal sort of knockoff stamped replacement vendors. It didn't line up to the aftermarket stuff. Not saying it never works to do that. With my old porsches. I'd buy the aftermarket from that. They not holes line lineup alert. Never spoiler always looks like really. You're that guy with the spoiler guy showed up. And he walked right up to defend. Is this who did this. And i and of course now. I felt self conscious about it and i was like i don't know what's that way when This look at these gaps. No this is no good and i should. Yeah i know and look. I mean he said whatever. Put this fender on. Should have his hands cut off. He said well. I think you're being a little harsh arts. And he's like. It was funny. Because i was defending me like i just sat crescent wrench full socket set. You know what i mean. You didn't have a voice busy cut. Anyway he kept going around and around and walk around and find a little bit what. What's happened here. What happened us trying to drive the price rights of luck. But then it's a used truck. It's got a couple of things and dance. If you wanna brand new truck go. The nissan deal spent seventy eight hundred dollars.

I also love small compact powerful machines. And this you know. I love the fact that they it's the steph. A six hundred. Fifty watt power supply into a box. This small you know mostly because they have their compute module instead of a traditional motherboard site. There it seems like the advantages. The design i know the knee jerk. Reaction is like why. Why not just bill yourself. Why compromise So if you are someone who's like no the beast canyon. That's for me this. This is why Sanderson email We'd love to to hear the explanation feedback. Usb ports on the fronts but other than that it seems to have just about everything you want. oh Wi fi sixties built in bluetooth. Five point two it's super bleeding edge The really the the six thousand dollar question is a. Do you care about whether or not a few years or a couple of years. You could swap another compute element cartridge. And i thought it was funny because one of the things think intel said in response to want to reviews is as you mentioned it right well. It should fit into ghost lake. But we're really not you can plug in and deal with what happens next after that. You guys good luck to me. Tell me if this is fair. It strikes me as you want the options that you get when you build it yourself but you want it to be easier and have have have a faster time putting it all together and you'll give up a little bit of flexibility for that well in some ways. You're going to give up a lot of flexibility right. I think part of the performance is the fact that they have this very tightly integrated motherboard and processor package You know which is great which is kind of an intel thing I think the downside is that you know if you want to upgrade this thing in the future and doesn't offer new compute module. You're basically taking all of your parts out of this and by another motherboard and case to put those into so you know the there's in this theory over the years you'll be able to drop in a new power you know. It seems like nobody ever wants to still make another cpu module thingy for you by the time you actually want to upgrade one. I think that's one of the biggest challenge. "A research scientist at studio lab broke down experiments within ai and machine learning that supports creatives in the filmmaking process. Hp tech brings you the people who are propelling businesses and industries forward listening subscribed to hp tech. Talk wherever you get your podcasts. All right folks. Multiple outlets have their reviews out for the intel knock. Eleven extreme aka beast canyon knock stands for next unit computing and extreme stands for does a lot but probably best for gaming The the the next community others my own the idea with next. Is you get a cpu and a motherboard in a modular compute element card that plugs. Into a case theoretically you'd be able to swap that out easily in reality. That hasn't always worked so well yet maybe someday but it's also a lot easier to build in other words. You bring the rams storage and the gpu beast canyon provides an eleventh. Jen intel cpu and supports full-sized gps. Now it's also larger than previous nuts at eight liters in volume. it's still smaller than amid tower. But it's not the tiny little cube the knock used to be if you want full-sized gpa. You support though. It's this or the cheaper but more complex to build mini. it xp cases beast canyon has mesh air vents. That late you see the gp you've put inside it and led skull that lights up when you turn it on because that's fun and most importantly includes Six hundred fifty eighty plus gold power supply. So yeah you can put it. Rt x. three thousand series or most of the six thousand series in it up to three hundred fifty watts tdp and gadget found that the sixty eight hundred x t was one that was too large due to the heat sink. But that the r x sixty eight hundred and the x. Thirty eight as both fit. Fine and gadgets mark ten benchmarks showed it outpacing every windows. Pc they've seen this year. And only the m one. I mac beat it in single. Core performance. beast canyon can transcribe a four k. Video clip to ten. Eighty p in forty-one seconds. The core i seven and i nine models of beast canyon are expected to sell between eleven fifty and thirteen fifty. That's one thousand one hundred fifty nine. Eleven dollars fifty cents. You can buy compute element separately. They technically still work in the knock. Nine extreme though not all the features like sound and four those cuss you. Seven hundred eighty eight nine hundred dollars but pc you do you want to build it. Do you wanna get a knock deal wanna go How many case. Patrick what should we do okay. this is a really interesting product. Because it's it seems to be mostly to be a response to the goes candy note from last year which was essentially a very small gaming. Pc except that it only fit eight inch gp inside of it or not full lacks now. Admittedly there's a couple of high end. Gp's won't fitness but anything twelve inches are under. that's not triple slots. Which means pretty much anything up to thirty any. Ti should fit in this. That's a big deal. It also really is huge because most people think of nooks you know. It's like four bars of butter. It's a fairly small box kitchen. Your hands and in eight leaders. This thing is huge. It's three leaders bigger than the ghost can't one from last year You know i. I think there's some really interesting question marks around the compute element cartridges. Because the idea is interesting the case it opens up. There's a back plane. There's a couple of of big lake express looking slots were and one of them's for this thing. That looks like it's actually the compute element cartridge which has miniaturized motherboard. A cpu memory and storage inside of it. And i think the kind of secret thing about this is these are incredibly powerful machines. And there's a ton of connectivity you can fit Three dot to twenty two eighty s inside the compute module. There's a fourth one hundred ten millimeter m dot to slot in the base of the case you can get up to sixty four gigabytes the four inside of this so these could be really really useful for people who who you know once a lot of computing power but don't necessarily want a big p. c. case You know it's an interesting idea. You know you're basically looking at a three hundred fifty dollars or five hundred dollars. Cpu a motherboard. Case fans a six hundred fifty eighty plus gold power. Supply your to and then you have to buy you know. Gp's in memory and ssd's yourself and bring them into that kinda crazy right. There's eight full size usb. Three point one ports on it. That was supposed to be worth a bunch of money. I will literally never forget white princess di one and she ripped the tag right in half so now is worth nothing this golden eye double o seven super nintendo game which i think i have all the night. He was the by. I have it. But i don't have the box or anything for it. But that's worth fifteen thousand dollars. I guess that was like the first like Where you can play multiplayer and you find the golden gun. It's it's confused about these list though. Because sometimes they put what it's worth based on what it's selling for even but not what it sold for. Do you know what. I mean are listening. At as as opposed to who want this is from nineteen ninety-three the game was new then says the biggest sale was for goldeneye 007 on nintendo sixty four eight sold in the fall of twenty twenty four. A dollar under fifteen thousand home alone merchandise is a like i had remember talk boy. I did to have it in at my current house right now. I do to tiger deluxe talk. Boy have it. He had one of those in the money's worth I guess maven is maven where they sell toys is that a is that a place where anyway Ten thousand dollars. They were thirty bucks new and they sell for up to ten thousand dollars to the floor. Get out of that twenty me then. I'm looking at a ten thousand dollar furby box. Those hockey started swearing because my mom used colored language around it and we had to hide it in the laundry room. Oh i see yeah anyway say what you say. Yup i did the same. Whatever else has seventy eight hundred dollar. American girl doll wanted. American girl always wanted one. The scape slave addy walker Yeah that's the one addie. Yeah she's an american girl. Pokemon card probably got lighted supercharge rare the whole binder nebraska duties. I wouldn't know the difference and then make a necklace like jesse. I don't like him but i thought that was cool. A thirty thousand dollars thirty or three hundred thousand dollar cars anyway. He warned ryan like in case in plastic around his neck and that around as a flat. Yeah most people wouldn't know if you made it. Look all fancy that it was only like twenty one but then you know you find one kid. That would be like you. Poser poser pitcher. What are you talking about things in mass production. You moron an eighth grader. I'm so i guess. The moral is story is that you should take your kids to us. And that's the other problem by doubles of everything. Yeah but all. These toys r. masters so mass produced these now they are but like so they were mass produced time machine back that eighty no. I'm just saying like now. You buy doubles everything. That that's why i don't understand like when i got a toyota ripped that sucker open i play with too late. You know it wasn't like let me just save this something someday. Well that's the other. Problem is the other biggest racket in the world where sports cards even my parents bond into the idea that i was spending money on soviet. It'll be worth something someday. Even my parents were frugal responsible spenders and they were like okay. Yeah you should earn money and go. Buy these base basketball cards. 'cause they're going to be worth something someday. Ninety million that were like five dollars cumulatively all of them collectively so. I'm not going to be able to retire on my shaquille o'neal rookie card. "It's you know it is challenging. You know you wanna keep the business going and you wanna win races But at the same time you don't wanna lose your stable so it's very talented. You mentioned the fact that you are doing everything. You're getting on the horses. You're handling everything that's involved with training because right now the tell you have to do it. You can't afford a whole big payroll with a whole bunch of help to to take care of those horses and thankfully you're not at the point where you have twenty or thirty horses because then it would be really hard to do this almost impossible. I would imagine for somebody that on on something that along the way of the traders i've worked for. I've always you know. Get everybody's giving me a little piece of advice and they always told me to don't grow too soon because its supply cost is enormous for for racing. Stable it's it's so expensive to get everything you need. So i've just been doing is slowly. You know buying little by little and building up. You know right. Now have everything. I need for four which is great. No about four or five everything. I need It can stay that number for the next four. You know four to six months heading into the winter and start claiming horses after saratoga or get a few That'd be great. That's kind of my goal Just as stay small the moment and keep working the way. I'm working and just build up slowly and you know hopefully be successful and considering the fact that you are running your own business you have to pay for all of the different burials and feed and all those kind of things that you need. What are those those expenses that a new trainer has to deal with as they're getting started on just like the the tools in general as far as we need or like what the are you meaning it. Yeah a little bit of everything i mean. What what things go into running your own business as a horse trainer especially for somebody just getting started all the things you need to acquire to do your job. Yeah there's i mean there's so many things that you need when you wanna get down to basic. She needs screw. Is you need snaps for the wedding. Which costs about seventy dollars. A piece of the cross crossbars. You need tie cheese halter. You need to lead shank manages the saddle you need tax. I mean as long long long long list of supplies. And that's all money coming out of your pocket So that's kind of why. I was trying to find a trainer that kid i could work for and You know build up my own thing. Which is what. Kelly was helped me do these an attack which is great. That was a huge help. Because that's what we seventy eight hundred dollars just tack itself along with bridle and saddle togethers. You know hook without dollars. You could put in to to get a good gear so that helped me out where you know could save the money and i was able to save up enough money to go buy my own tack and everything and You know about one leading at a time and things like that water buckets and there's so many things you need and you gotta get You gotta pay for eighty nine. You gotta get hey and evenings. And that's that's all you gotta put out of your own pocket and you know you get paid from the the own her after the monks But that's you know there's a lot of things you got to put out of your own money until you get paid. do you ever think. What on earth did i get myself into. Yeah i think that a little bit. But you know i've i've i've ran of lot of barnes so i knew what i was getting into. I didn't really see so much of the number. But you know i had an idea i news going to be a lot of money But i know exactly what a need which is great. You know it's not like i'm guessing what i need. I know exactly what i need to get. And i've done my research on. Who has the best prices and things like that. So i feel like i was well prepared for it not so much on the money and you know it's tough living in new york so it's not like i have a ton of money but You know i've i've done my research. And i and i know exactly what it needs so that definitely helps visiting with trainer. Michelle g. and giulio here on trainer talk presented by phasing tipton. You may be hearing that name for the very first time as she is just getting with that training career michelle. I have had many trainers come on this program over the years and afterwards combat to me and say hey. There was an owner. That was listening to the show. They enjoyed the conversation and they actually sent them a horse or to to train. And there's a chance that could happen for you too so if you were talking to a perspective owner today would you sum up the michelle and giulio training philosophy in your approach to training horses That's really putting a very hands-on been around horses my entire life You know. I want to be aggressive and win. Races and main thing is put horses where they belong. That's that's the biggest challenge of horse racing. Nowadays people.

"It so that every month you know what is do that. How much is due. And when it's due. I plotted that on a counter. I didn't look back what happened in the past happened in the past. I can't change at what's going on in the future. I can control and you can do the same thing. I didn't even cut out anything. I just plotted everything. I pay every month month. In and month out even as far back as a year looking to try to figure this out. And i came across some subscriptions. I pay once a year. I put all that information in there. You know maybe. I only pay at once a year on january fifth of every year. But i put that information in there. I compounded into a spreadsheet. And i called that my budget. So it's on a spreadsheet with the dates is due in the dollar amount is do so i'm looking forward. That's the important concept here. You need to be looking forward and then put in your pay check on the day you receive your pay if you're on salary or if your paycheck is close to the same every week just put in what you get every week or every two weeks or whatever your pay period is f- it changes a lot like minded. I went back for five days which you been for me. It's weekly so had been four or five weeks. I adamo up. I divided by five. And i came up with an average in. That was my starting point. What was my average. Take home pay every week and plug that in there. So now i know and then i started out the beginning. What's the mountains in my checking account put in the balance my checking account. When's my next payday tomorrow. Put in my net take home. Pay my average plug that in. I look forward. What's gonna be due until from today pay to the next pay. What do i have to pay. And i put all that in there. I knew exactly how much money i needed to pay all the bills. And when i say all the bills. I mean groceries gas for the car. Insurance utilities whatever's whatever's gonna pay. I then decided that my checking account can never go below three hundred dollars. So i projected peg pay today x. Amount i have all these bills. I gotta pay subtracts attracts attract. I have this much. Left them my checking account. I need a three hundred dollar balance in there at all times. Anything over three hundred dollars from the current pay to the day before the next pay anything over three hundred dollars that was still in the checking account. I transferred to my savings. So let's say my pay was nine hundred hurt. I was making easy a thousand dollars a week for one pay in the next pay. I have a thousand dollars to pay my bills. Let's say that all my utilities are do my natural gas with one hundred dollars. My electric is a hundred dollars. Caesar just made up numbers here. I'm gonna spend three hundred dollars at the grocery store. I'm gonna put a hundred dollars a gas in cars so track subtracts tracked and i have one to keep a three hundred dollar balance in my checking account. I don't remember what those numbers are baloushis. Say that. I have five hundred dollars. Total bounce my checking the day before my next paycheck comes in so back at the pay where i received it online new transfer two hundred dollars to the savings account. 'cause i got five hundred in there i project in ford that i have five hundred dollars left over after i pay for everything song on a take that extra money and i'm gonna put it and to my savings account. Why am i putting it and a savings account. Because i want to stop creating new debt so i need to have an emergency fund. That's how you build up your emergency fund and just a note you can make as many deposits in your savings account every month as you wish he can only make six withdrawals a month or you're gonna be subject to fines from the bank. It's not the banks rules. It's the federal insurance depository rules. Allowed six throws a month from a savings account. You don't wanna pay any of those penalties or fees. So don't do it. I did that weekend and week out. And i paid the minimum balance on my credit cards every month on the due date once i had that down for a week or two and i was putting my discretionary income money money. I hadn't spent into the same account. I set a goal of an emergency fund of one thousand dollars. I want at least a thousand dollars and my savings account at all times in case something would happen. And i need the money to pay for say a flat tire on the car or get a new set of tires for the car or a medical expense to popped up. Might be three or four hundred dollars. I wanna be able to pay for that with out using credit okay so we achieved that it may. I don't remember how long that took. It might have been six months but it was a slow process. Once i build up my savings account to three thousand dollars. I took the extra amount the two thousand dollars ahead in their over. That thousand dollars. I wanted to keep for an emergency fund. And i apply dad two thousand dollars to a credit card and this case i picked the lowest balanced credit card which was under two thousand dollars so i paid it off so now i have to credit cards with outstanding balance. Not only did i pay off the one. But then i took the exter- and in applied towards as second one so now. I'm working down the credit cards. Then you go back to megan a minimum payment every month. You gotta make the minimum payment and then when you have the access i call at exit when you have the additional money funds and your savings account where he can use it to pay down a dead. That's in addition to that minimum payment. So you making progress. I'm gonna say it took me close to a year to get that. Seventy eight hundred dollar credit card debt paid down. It was slow going. I wasn't making a whole lot when i started that. Fortunately i change jobs about three four months into this program that i set up for myself and was working on and when i changed jobs my income almost doubled.

"Work our way a little bit. Further down the draftkings card this week. Yes for sure. You know you can get down and you guys like daniel berger who won a at&t pebble beach a couple of starts ago. He's a florida guy. This is a really good spot for him. I mean you talk about recent form further down the board few guys better jordan spieth right now. Four consecutive top fifteen finishes. And i liked the way. He's doing it. He's gained jokes on approach in fourteen of his last sixteen and then is kind of like a draft king special for your christmas louis. Who stays who seventy eight hundred dollars and louis louis burns everybody last week because he withdrew after this tournament started but before he hit a shot so all of his backers last week to ten percent of them across the site got zero from louis and they're probably a bit jaded this tweak. I think he comes in really low owned. He's coming off a six place finish at the. Wgc workday finished eleventh in phoenix. He doesn't play often. Chris but when he does he plays really really well. He's another guy that can just be like a top. ten top. twenty machine always seems especially in majors. Earning the like this against strong fields. You look at two pm on saturday. And there is in the first page leaderboard. Right lou is going to be involved. I mean he is finished runner up in every major and the players championship in his career. He's got the career grand slam runner up. Finishes i mean. He just finds a way to assert himself on the top of the leaderboard. It happens routinely. And i don't see it stopping anytime soon before we ask you about one and done how about you like a real dark horse whether it be from draft kings or maybe from any angle betting card this week. Rick yes so this. This event elicits a bit of chaos. So i think you are You know i'm much more willing to further down the board than i normally would be. And i'm gonna really really deep here. Johnny vegas is three hundred to one. He's sixty three hundred dollars on draft kings. He's coming off a runner up. Finish in puerto rico. Which i love to see. That was his last start. He finished third here. The last time this was played in full so that was twenty nine thousand nine hundred and he has a skill set as one of the best drivers of the golf ball on the pga tour. That i think plays well in florida so that that to me is the guy that hey it's it's deep. It's certainly a long shot. But there is at least enough reason to think that he's got a a decent chance of of making some noise. This week i love it recovered from a one and done perspective. The field this deep. What kind of strategy are you using. What kind of guy are you looking for for a one and done pick sure so. This is This is the time to use your stutz. it's fifteen million. Dollars is the largest prize golf. Two point seven million to the winner. That's essentially like i n second-place money at some of the events that we get on the pga tour. So i think you've gotta burn a stud here and if i'm going to do that. Some of the guys on the shortlist. I've already talked about justin. Thomas he's kind of interesting. But i know most people like to save him for no cut events i would not mind in the slightest running. Bryson d shambo right back out there again. This week You know the the the idea that this is a kind of a big game hunter in the biggest of games and and we know he's got all the upside and the one three times in his last fifteen starts. That to me is really interesting but i think the biggest takeaway here chris is. It's time to go go. Burn your big boys. i love it. Rick gaiman rick run good dot com head over to the website. Rick run good dot com especially in event like this with the data that we have all of the internment all of the in tournament betting draft kings opportunities can't recommend enough run good dot.

It sounds like a podcasting. Mike but at the same time it still has that you know in person feel to it. How much to. How much is that. Run. these are two fifty so not super team battle not bad for what. You're getting a no audio gear. I mean that's that's a good price yet. 'cause i think obviously they have a whole line of condenser mics. And yes. somebody hundred thousands of dollars now road has much but you're kind of between the high heels and the in electro voice you know those are probably four and five hundred so the really good condenser mics and then You would get on a low end. These di should say low but the lower end this eighteen thousand one hundred simpson to chew a yeti. A one hundred one hundred i think is what's called. They're all about one bucks. So you could mike you can. This is a this is a two hundred dollar setup that i have here to get this own this arm. You could go cheaper in the arm if you went to retain you you spent instead of that. You spent most of your money on the mike and then you have a super cheap setup. Not in the camera right. it's real. Least they totally change jobs or whatever not all of us lot of us going to go back and so most didn't get to go home but from from that standpoint. I think you know you're talking. There's would be great upgrade for somebody who's really struggling with their audio. We had gallup. They issued us java forties elite forties. Seventy five bucks. You know sorts of headset. I meant that thing is my daily driver. Go to i love that thing on my head loved though it sounds i love that. It's always there 'cause i am too. I'm like moving all over the place you know so a headset in. It's clear it's crystal clear like nobody ever says what. What did you say you know kind of. Can you say that again. I tried to. Mike's likes to try. The algata wave three. Which is one hundred and fifty dollars. Standard condenser alek. This is okay. Not great and try the road their new. I can't remember a n t one usb. I think many is there new little hundred dollar. Mike it looks cool. Little capsule make it sounded good but again you had to be like right up on it. It's if i was as far away from as you guys are. You wouldn't even be able to hear me. There just wasn't enough gain or power there. So then i was like. Let's get something real and yeah the wave three. If you're a streamer in a gamer and you have no issue having the mike in your face mike. But obviously quality Does not compare to to the road that yeah. It's a little harder to do it. That way i just. I'm not a big. I think is a condenser mic wave. Three yeah yeah and so you just can't for most for most people they just can't get a quiet enough room. They can't get a treated room. You know they're trying to put a nine you know. They're trying to put a condenser mic. That's picking up everything in a room. That is is not noise proof so to speak. Yeah exactly i. I remember in the early days when we were podcasting head to squeaky chair in. I couldn't hear it but but everybody else could. You know kind of things. Like i sat in that thing so long you know. I didn't even hear it anymore. But dave I was podcast with dave mccabe at the time. He's like dude. Your hair like at school you all the time. Even with a dynamic. You know with the dynamic mike it was you could hear it and Hey a real quick you. You just posted this on youtube channel. You just got now okay. I'm i'm super cheapo. So spending more than one hundred fifty dollars on an office chair is a lot for me. But you aren't away to take thousand dollar office chair and kind of pick it up for by five hundred bucks. Is that right. Oh it's it's so funny. You mention that because i moved very fast over here and i post very little the chair that you're referencing. I'm not even sitting in right now. So let's talk about the concept really quick so there's a company. They reached out called on crandall office. Furniture in there are some other companies. That do this that. I've found sense. But essentially they take you know premium tears in this case steelcase levi to and which is a very nice chair around seventy eight hundred dollar chair. Perfect ergonomics very comfortable. I loved it..

"seventy eight hundred dollars" Discussed on Scoops with Danny Mac
"Those are the two guys at eleven thousand and above fee now shafi read harris english. Sunjay brooks koepka a loaded loaded field. Where do you start as we look at the top of the car. And who are you. Ein for A draft kings of dfs perspective brick. Yeah this is super interesting. So i actually argue. There are a lot of guys with question marks in the ten k. range between rahm. Who withdrew last week. You said yet you know he got a strain something he could have played through. It didn't wanna rush back. But he's still working through new golf clubs after switching and leaving tailor-made and roy who played great for two rounds in in europe last week or in dubai last week But was kinda bad. The other two rounds he still trying to figure it out. We talked about females zander. Shaw flus at such a tough time around torrey pines which is shocking considering. He's played what he has said over one hundred times in his life so for me. I think i would prefer rory most at ease. A three hundred dollar discount off of jon rahm what he did in dubai last week He actually shot the round of the day in two separate rounds chris. That's the story. That i wanna see in twenty twenty one where he can just go out and just put but weapon on the rest of the field now. The other two rounds weren't so great and it was a bit of those inconsistencies that we've seen from him over the last year but this is a happy hunting ground for roy. He's only played here twice. He's got top five finishes in both editions of of of this farmers insurance open. So he's the one that i think i'm i'm targeting. The most up their hobbit as we make our way down the card. If we like rory at the top. Give us a couple of guys that you're building around either in the middle or a couple of guys rick elect this weekend at torrey pines. So certainly you mentioned brooks koepka earlier. I would not play him in defense. But i love betty his outright number. You know that way. If he has a ton of miscount equity he has a ton of win equity. At least you get a little bit of upside joke by just betting him instead of getting him into your fantasy lineups but moving down and looking at some of the more value placed ryan palmer has an unbelievable record around torrey pines. In the last three years he's gone thirteenth and twenty twenty. I was last year but he played in the final group on sunday so we actually fell and faded on sunday. I think he shot three or four over par and it really made his finishing position. Look a lot worse than how he actually played that we can move it out there. Really far he can get the putter going at times. So that's someone that i would target in the middle and then you start scrolling down even further to you know the seven thousand dollar range at and and gary woodland's name pops up at seventy eight hundred and woodland has been dealing with a torn lieberman his hip and he tried to play through. It and the results were brutal. I mean the second half of his twenty twenty it was bad the stats where some of the worst i've ever seen especially for a guy as who has the pedigree of gary woodland's well he might be back. Gary woodland a a sixteenth place. Finish last week Seems to be healthy. And if he is and he is severely under priced at seventy eight hundred dollars especially for.
