"Thousand three divisional round at home against the green bay. Packers fredericks comes in clutch. The you know one of the biggest catches a maybe one of the few catches he's ever made but certainly the biggest again a gutsy thorough by mcnabb and a double coverage and for pixel that i am the eagles go cup of clutch performances. David akers eggers ties up. Eagles go to overtime brett farve. Who's might be like one of the most overrated players of all time firs that absolute doc up in the air in overtime as if he was playing street football on fourth. Down your throw up. You can throw a hail mary. And wherever the ball lands. That counts punters. That's what it looked like dawkins fixed off. You'll go down the field acres another kick eagles when i think we forget because of how will we work for. David akers for nearly a decade or about a decade that. You can't take kicking for granted he was clark. She was automatic. He was amazing as an eagle and showing people should respect our notes. It's weird with a kicker but again a younger generation. Now we have jake elliott who again twenty seventeen tonnes success. But he's been up and down since then to know when kickers are doing well. You know you're lucky to have that. Because it's such a flimsy position number twelve. I have thursday football and twenty seventeen to eagles on the road down in carolina. They go in there. Carolina was still hype cam newton at won the mvp two years prior they had made the superbowl two years prior and that game obviously thursday. Football's on a national audience. Net felt the first time. Eagles were sending a message to the rest of the league. The put them on notice that this was a super bowl contender and that's the first game that year. After that thought man. This team could really make a run. They could go in the super bowl. They could win the super bowl. Doug peterson was super aggressive. That can go on fourth down going for two point versus michael hendricks and nigel brandon. Play the two of the best games ever seen. Eagles linebackers play fantastic game and as a game. It was awesome number eleven. We have two thousand four week. One against the giants at home at lincoln financial field. Terrell owens first game as filled up eat was goes offer eight catches sixty eight yards and three touchdowns doing all his dances. In the end zone he was the prince that was promised coming year. The first great skill position players i rate wide our say they had brian westbrook but they had a hall of fame talent at wide receiver for the first time during the any reading don mcnabb era and we thought that was gonna be again the beginning of this. Oh my god. We're going to win the super bowl this year. It was that feeling automatically. One obviously is one of the best seasons in eagles history but they come up short in this your bow but i will say te'o played as injured as he was played absolutely incredible in that super bowl halfway point. We're at number ten snowball two thousand thirteen crazy atmosphere that game. I didn't go to that game in a season ticket holder. i couldn't go Had like a paper in greek history class. That was like way. Redoing extension was due the next day. So i won't go to the game like stay at home and like try to work on it while watching the obviously don't do the paper at all watch the game and up during the paper and finishing at like four o'clock in the morning and getting like i don't know like a b. plus or something pulling it out of my i don't know i don't know curses i conceal here. Sometimes anyway you there's couple iconic images that game is shawn mccoy job up in the snow you that the game sealing play were brent south is slotting through the snow just one of those Gonna flash ballgame where everyone remembers where they were for that game iconic show before we had the best rushing performance near the best performed by skill position player in eagles. History that day just absolutely incredible. Electric had so much juice. Harvey wanna say. Get one of those games. That should be rethought my god. It's like a team of desi. This thing is going to do with. This is the beginning of this next grade. Eagles erin again. Didn't end up being that. You can't forget how awesome and how important felt in that specific mobile number nine. This might be a little bit lower than most people. And i understand you have it higher but just again this is a personal ranking doesn't for nfc championship game. The eagles get that devil off the back. They had lost in the nfc championship game. The three years prior the home. They beat the falcons. They go to the super bowl for the first time since nineteen eighty. I remember don mcnabb's holding up nfc championship and its champion trophy. That had adele filled up. The big polar that was hanging up on my bedroom wall was up there for years knows a huge snowstorm in philly the day before out there playing touch football my friends in the snow diving everywhere airplane toplitz now who knows but having a blast and it's actually see them for the first time. Megan that super bowl was just unbelievable. Man on unbelievable. What i dream in my whole life and then you know they don't win that game and they because they don't win this your bullets a little lower my list. But i don't know my list. I don't care number eight. We have the monday night massacre and twenty ten at washington. I play eighty eight yard. Play action bomb from michael. Vick to sean jackson. They go up. What with less than ten seconds in to the second quarter up thirty five not just absolutely trashed and mcnabb was the quarterback for washington which made a lot of funny moments. That was his first season out of philadelphia. Dozen nine was his last season as an eagle Just completely demolished demolish them. And i don't know the next time. The eagles are gonna play a washington. Monday night football. They played them Like i was saying in. Was that that first. Chip kelly game was my knife up all night up all The houdini game with wins and twenty seventeen against washington. That's game. I could have one year but i don't have it You know that was a my night football game so next time. Eagles washington monday football. Something crazy happened in the usa routing number said and we have a double joint game a high pressure environment eagles on the road. There on this magical. Ron they pull off this this upset win and you think again they'd be. Oh my god we going to do this. The double joint. No one of the most iconic things that live on and philadelphia lure full of eagles lore mythology. Not now everyone say al. Michaels has that great call..

"Everything you need to make a podcast in one place. I recommended sodas ian yet while you know who else hates being sanctioned the geno as well and while the story is not about the ancient city state of genoa. Genoa is in fact. It history hate being sanctioned. i mean they had. They had control of stuff in the top of the black sea all the way to the city tinge no i mean if you sanction them how are they gonna move stuff between their empire anyways on different we're not talking about that talking about northwestern italy. It just happens to be near to know. It's the closest major city. It what happened is a cemetery collapsed due to landslide. You might be saying. Oh a cemetery collapse nice well. This is a big deal one. Because i think it's a big deal because it's a cemetery in general but the bigger stories that it was the come Camogli cemetery this bill. Over one hundred years ago it was built on the rocky cliffs of the italian coast and therefore when the landslide happened over two hundred coffins actually tumbled into the osha in two chapels also collapse as well the entire cliff. It was just having a bad day collapse in so conferences all over the ocean. And that's why it's a huge deal. Because i don't think i've ever seen this lifetime And so francisco all lavar. Who's the mayor of Comal glee a. He said that this was quote catastrophe and he went on to say this quote. We were doing work on a portion of the rocky coast. It was close to the area that fell today. This type of collapse that happened today is very hard to detect or to predict all and he said he went on to say this this area subject to this type of collapse. It's very fragile. He knew he knew is fragile. But problem is all these. Coffins are in the ocean now. So what happens. Well the port authority in genoa. The so there's been police have been called the military has been called. Everyone's just been scrambling to get these coffins up they kind of like a wall of ships Around around like where. The spill happened to try to prevent the conference flowing into the mediterranean. Who's not be awkward. If you're a fisherman and saw coffin now he a bad omen fishermen are very superstitious lot. Yeah so why. Not superstitious fishermen. I know so many anyways. Enes clearly expert on superstitious fishermen. It's a common known fact. That fishermen are superstitious. Don't understand why you have to dig into every talk about the call lifting sanctions. Okay okay. anyways The the point of this story is that It wasn't clear that this was going to happen. Everyone knew that the cliff was fragile but coffins. Coming out of the side of the mountain out. That is pretty big. And so as i was saying earlier the the navy has been deployed in ships have been deployed to stop the coffins. From actually coming you know flooding is the ocean but as of now not even half of them have been retrieved only like fifteen of them have actually been brought to the mainland. Because it's a it's a huge pile into landslide. That's what happened in. The landslide is just a tire piece of the earth. Just a false of and so when you have a piece of earth falling. It's it's kind of like when you Late if this house collapsed right. I'm inside like a house. Right now with ian wright and let's see the entire house collapsed and i was outside like i'm like i'm like outside on the street and the house collapses ian still in here i can find it but the there's a bunch of like rubble and it's the stuff everywhere i mean i'm not gonna find a means gonna crush by all the all the stuff that falls on his head for the house that falls on him and the problem is i'm not gonna fight him. It's gonna take me a while to find him. I'm you might be like a coffin stands out but when there's so much stuff on top of the coffins is difficult and so that's why over two hundred left. The cemetery only found like fifteen is. There's so much to dig through our. I mean i think i stand out. That's what so my momma says you stand out. Get them well ian you. I'm glad you're bomb tells you that but you don't i know i'm sorry but anyways the that that's that's so that's why it's taken salon. So maintenance was actually being performed on the rocks in the days leading up to this collapse but it was halted when cracks were noticed. It started to be little holes in the wall and people started to realize. Wait we. Maybe maybe we should stop digging here. I don't know So they stopped the maintenance and a few days later. This happened so Nice of Big mistake don't let that happen guys if you're ever maintaining In a cemetery has what it by the ocean as well by ocean yet to make. Sure if you're gonna do that it doesn't collapse my god. It's probably so easy. I mean. I absolutely nothing. No i got to maintain the cemetery expert about the gravestones birth. Anyway let's move onto a story about cocaine. Every few months we do a story about cocaine i just i just love these stories. It's pretty funny but this is a huge now is so cocaine dot confiscated. But how much will the. There's three different stories In the first one is at seventeen point six tons or sixteen metric tons of cocaine were found guys sixteen tons seventeen tonnes really if in american tons. That's a lot. That's what that's a lotta coke us. It's like two three. Maybe seven seventeen tons and it was uncovered in the city of hamburg. Which is german port city. It's a port city in germany. I'm so it'd be shipped all the way from paraguay and south america. I'm which call me surprised but anyways Just had to say that i'm so some ship from there and it being directly from paraguay of his. Why there is. There's there's a flak brought on the stuff. It's hard to ship and stuff from that continent because there's a lot of drugs that flow into europe from a part of the world in according to customs the customs office in hamburg. This was one of the biggest catches in the history of europe and the world. Like i said it's usually two to three business Seventeen tonnes rounded up to eight really. And that's why it's a huge deal and the shipment was supposed to be a lot of putty so all these people. They have all their strategies on how to get cocaine into the country. Sometimes i'll put it inside a box. Sometimes they'll put it in their mouth in their pants and we all have. We all have strategies on how to import cocaine and these people fought putty cans Kind of like plato. yeah So luck buddy. I'm i'm really mad right now. That all these german scene and get the potty. They asked for said they got cocaine. We'll there was somebody thing is gonna fix it like moat. It's mostly piney is mostly pipe within their some cocaine. It's just a little bit see some german school. Children usually the putty cancer dispute so gross and smelly stuff especially putty stuff gets sturdy and imagine that yeah the only even more hyperactive..

S. southern border he's stepping up a crackdown and immigration this woman says she left her country under desperate circumstances green because we were operating our congressmen of our country's afraid of torture were afraid of being killed in there we are right here and we're being treated this way so this is a new rule that is set to be published in tomorrow's Federal Register that'll say that migrants who don't apply for protection while they're in a third country before entering the US will be ineligible for asylum let's learn more now Bloomberg news White House reporter Justin St joins me now and our bluebird ninety nine one studio here in Washington DC Dustin thank you for taking the time with us yeah thanks for having me alright let's talk about this safe third country rule that's the current rule that's the one that's in place now what does it say well I think of the the it's helpful to understand how the change is going to impact people by stepping back in and looking at how people who are coming undocumented across the border and who are largely responsible for the surgeon immigration are getting here so with a large number these people especially families what we're seeing is there they are fleeing central American comp countries where there is crime and violence coming up through Mexico into the United States and then applying for asylum status under the current laws anybody who request asylum the U. S. is is given a hearing to see if they qualify and while the the policy is to hold those people there are there's a sort of second settlement that says if you're there with children you get freed essentially after a certain period of time to going to the U. S. and wait for your administrative hearing and so the trump administration argues is that this this this system incentivize people who don't even have a legitimate asylum claim to come to the US wait for the court hearing and then either not show up or they've they've been here for awhile and and set down roots and figure out how to better navigate the immigration system so what they're what the administration's looking to do is say Hey if you were in Mexico on your genuinely slain violence or persecution in your home country you should apply for asylum it for refugee status status in Mexico itself and they're hoping that by dis incentivizing this by saying that if you've already come through Mexico and you haven't tried to get refugee status there you won't be able to get it in the US they will slow down what has been kind of a flood that it has surged over the southern border so what how does this apply then to those people who are being traffic's yes so I I mean one sort of element of this is that if you've been denied refugee status and in Mexico you won't be able to another but there there is this sort of there's two types of trafficking right one is where you would hire I KO today or or have somebody bring you across the border that would be essentially for this this type of what would be different because folks who are crossing the border not at the port of port of entry would not necessarily apply for this refugee status right but others who do go through this process go to this point points of entry they would be impacted by this and they especially might not learn about these changes until they arrive in the United States and then are turned away so how fast is this going to take effect well it's unlikely that is gonna take effect soon because we've already heard about legal challenges the ACLU has promised to file one and similar changes that have been tempted by the administration before have gotten tangled up in the courts so wall the administration pushing forward with this is significant I think we have to see how the courts check this out yeah let me ask about the process a little bit which is a little bit hairy eyeball that that's what we do the what this is not is this an executive order of me this does this need congressional approval because it's going to be in the Federal Register as soon as tomorrow yes it doesn't need congressional approval this is a a regulatory change that the administration is man on its own they feel confident that they've got the legal ability to do this but it is really a decades long reversal of immigration policy and what Democrats critics of this policy of argued is that Congress has drafted laws based on the assumption that folks could come and apply for refugee status here in the US so even if it is not explicitly sort of barred by Congress at least implicitly is and so I think that's what a lot of his legal arguments are gonna him John and we'll see that the trump administration's all all often struggle to get some of these initiatives burn court approval saw it when you were talking about the court challenges are are pending are already being talked about I was gonna ask how soon it's going to take and it does it sounds like those are gonna be filed post haste yeah the the ACLU is already a sort of right on top of this and you know it joins kind of a long list of fights of the the trump administration has in federal courts obviously they're still disputes over the wall money that the president trump card access from other areas of the federal budget and I'm sure that that house Democrats are also going to try to craft ways to to change this and you know through legislative evidence all right doesn't sink thank you so much covering the White House for Bloomberg news bringing us up to speed on this latest policy just ahead on Bloomberg politics policy power and law the president doubles down after taking some heat for telling Congress woman to go back where they came from let's get the latest world the national headlines with Bloomberg's problem any that is the lead story injecting race into his criticism of Liberal Democrats president trump double down on his suggestion that for Congress woman of color should go back to the broken and crime infested countries they came from ignoring the fact that all the women are American citizens and three were born in the US is attacked searing condemnation from Democrats labeled the remarks racist and breathtakingly divisive one of the members of Congress Alexandria Ocasio Cortez told Sky News the trump seize power in being divisive I think there's a strategy to divide the country because the more this country is divided the more he benefits from the trump administration said today it will end asylum protections for most the migrants to arrive at the U. S. Mexico border the rule is set to go into effect tomorrow and is sure to face immediate legal challenges congressional Democrats are apprehensive that Senate leader Mitch McConnell will try to attach a vote on the nine eleven victims compensation fund to another issue tying up the bill's passage Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer insisted today that Republican senators need to do the right thing this bill is passed the house it is gotten the support of both the democratic and Republican leadership's no gains do not attach this bill to something else where it might get messed up as it is got messed up in the past Schumer said the heroes who now need help didn't delay rushing to the scene when their help was needed German authorities say a busy stretch for the auto Bahn between Berlin and Hamburg had to be shut down today after a truck caught fire nobody was hurt as seventeen tons of cocoa went up in flames oh the humanity global news twenty four hours a day on air and it took talk on Twitter I'm Bob Malone importing from Asia can.

Hey, kudos to the jackets. Finally snapped at five game losing streak beat the avalanche six three last night. So let's see we can get it going again get coach Tortorella smile, and that's a plus the wife of the doctor under investigation for over prescribing pain medications at Mount Carmel now named in a lawsuit by one of the victims families. Mariah Baird also a nurse at Mount Carmel accused of administering a fatal federal to Ian Thomas in two thousand fifteen futile the doctor Baird the nurse married. Just two years back. And I think now we're at nine total. Wrongful death lawsuits being filed against the hospital a doctor Houston. So we'll keep you up to date on that. But that is the very latest cold and flu season is here. Not quite as bad as it was last year for sure. Sure. But we do have a fatality now. Three year old boy in Highland county. Ohio's first death from the flu this season, Ohio department of health confirmed the case just yesterday Highland county. Health department investigating the death, despite the news health officials say hospitalizations due to the flu they're down quite a bit this year. Quite a bit end up one big ten note, former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky looks like he could get his sentence changed on child molestation convictions, Pennsylvania appeals court rejected arguments by his lawyers for a new trial. But they did order the coach to be resentenced. The panel ruled that the mandatory minimums or not properly applied in the original sentencing Sandusky, currently serving thirty to sixty years in prison after being convicted on forty five counts of child molestation back in twenty twelve. So resentencing coming for the coach looks like the coastguard just completed a massive drug bust. They seized over seventeen tons of cocaine. They say it was a pretty elaborate sting operation coast guard cutters. Intercepted twenty one different vessels. They were making their way from Mexico Central America and South America to port Everglades, Florida. It's pretty big thirty five thousand pounds of cocaine confiscated. They say is worth about a half. A million dollars forty nine people arrested forever. Glades one of the busiest drug smuggling locations in the US, and they say is often a site of coastguard stinks. You think the bad guys would wise up? Hey this. They know this is where the stuff comes in. Maybe we ought to go somewhere else. But as is often the case, the the bad guys are always the smartest guys o n one note from Cleveland this morning. Cleveland woman has been arrested after a nine year old son brought marijuana Gumy's school shared them with his classmates. The boy told police he got the pot laced gummy bears from his aunt. But his mother took them away and told him not to touch him. According to police a second child, then told the boy to distract his mom by saying, I love you. Mommy, and then the second child grabbed the Gumy's took him to school incident. Led fourteen kids being evaluated at a hospital on Monday. The Twenty-seven-year-old mom whose name has not been released is also getting more than a stern talking to. So we've got that going on about two and a half minutes update. Traffic and weather foggy again when you look at just central Ohio. It looks like the dense fog, Knox and licking counties. We've got reports of about a quarter mile visibility out the Newark area up in mount Vernon area. Also grove city about a half mile visibilities there. So best practice usually keep a low beams on and make sure you got plenty of room. I remember my dad told me before I got my driver's license at sixty miles an hour you go eighty. Eighty eight feet a second. So if you can't really see that far into the distance, you don't really want to be getting on top of it before you can see what's going on. Right. Right. Just, you know, hey, I'm a little flashback there. Five fifty. Let's get you over to Bloomberg right now, Patrice Sikora is in the Dow climbed yesterday it did better than expected earnings gave stocks to boost the Dow industrials climbed one hundred seventy two points Joel that has seven tenths percent.
