"You've also been negotiating with now former special counsel Muller has he agreed to come in voluntarily is there a date by which if he does not, you would subpoena him. Well, we're carrying on conversations with him. And he will come in. And if we have to subpoena him, we will. Would that be saved by the end of the summer doesn't come in? I would think it would be way before that way before that by the end of June. I'm not gonna come in. I don't know. Okay. So way before the end of summer, but he's not commenting on the end of June, which after all is only what seventeen eighteen days away. So I'm guessing July probably July. It's about time bring him in. There is other news going on today, for instance. Thousands of protesters blocked entry to Hong Kong's government headquarters yesterday and pretty much brought central Hong Kong to a standstill delaying a legislative session on a proposed extradition Bill that has heightened fears over greater Chinese control and erosion of civil liberties in Hong Kong, which is a semi autonomous territory. Police responded to the protests by firing rubber bullets and teargas. Critics say the Bill will make anyone in Hong Kong susceptible to being grabbed and sent to mainland China for political reasons. They also say it undermines Hong Kong semi-autonomous legal system. Yeah. Chinese officials say the Bill just plugged, some loopholes in the country's extradition law. Right. It should be noted that the anniversary of the uprising at Tiananmen Square just was just this week. It was like, what forty or? A lot of years ago, and China blocked, CNN blocked. All, you know, all coverage of what happened at Tiananmen Square from being shown to the people in China. You know, things are bad here. Just lets you know how much worse they could be all right. We still have a couple of minutes before it's time to call Tom Hartman on, I don't want to call him early. There is actually a one more story shoot. I thought I copied it over, but I didn't let me see if I can remember enough, the Trump administration. You know keeps. Rounding up migrants. We've heard all about it, right. What you may not have heard. Is there are now looking at using the facilities that were used as Japanese internment camps during World War Two? To house, some of these migrants who come here, seeking asylum, and are turned into criminals by the Trump administration. Amazing. I'll tell you what before we get to. Thom Hartmann, let me play for you. Just another clip of Bernie Sanders from earlier today, when he talks about the reality of the situation where now living today we have a demagogue in the White House who for cheap political gain is attempting to deflect the attention of the American people away from the real crises that we face. And instead is doing demagogues always do. And that is to divide people up and legislate hatred. This is a president who supports brutal family separation. Yup. Bought a walls, Muslim bans anti LGBT policies deportations and voter suppression. It is my very strong belief that the United States must reject. Checked that path of hatred and the business and instead, find the moral conviction to choose a different path a higher path a path of compassion, Justice and love. Sounds good to me. Getting TV commercials is awesome. It's a big deal. I would assume though that is not gotten the internet push that they assumed it would though that's in my head from a marketing strategic just like the orange vanilla coke marketing strategic people wanting to be the official drink of TV timeouts is not a good angle. Buffalo Wild Wings. I assume thought they would get a huge internet push from it. I'm not sure they have how do we feel about like the Genesis halftime show? Then good move or terrible move. Is that the one where they literally had trash player garbage the first time, I think that was bad optic, Sarah. Genesis halftime show trash it's like bad optics bad idea. Are they doing it for March madness? No, just caring Monday night football. I don't mind that type of shit. I don't mind like innovation into entertainment to keep people whose something like attention, or whatever I think marketings changing a lot. I think there's hits and misses on everything. But just. The strategy to dump think about how much money orange vanilla coke put into that game so much it has to be like, maybe a fifteen twenty million dollar deal right there. I mean, I've seen that commercial way more than any of the other ones fifteen twenty million dollar idea right there for the NC double A March madness. Probably if I had to guess how many variations a coat do we need at this point like coke. "The travel and entertainment guys here to make you smarter. Tornado warnings all over the place and racy weather. You know, that's really nice of those guys to come down on a Sunday. Sit brought his family with him that was kind of neat and into it it shows. But you know, what it shows why they're having less trouble too in Sacramento because like you said it's about leadership. And so these guys are down here on a Sunday taking advantage of an opportunity to go on the air and tell everybody that they're you know, how things are going and stuff like that. And so that that's that's one of the reasons they're not having a problem is because they're taking their on top of it, and they're real proud of their workforce. Well, and I'm proud of the fact that there that people around the community are stepping up and are helping out a little bit. So that's a great thing. Mr. quake Whitehead is joined us in the studio now and you saw come from away. Also, I did about two weeks ago. Yeah. So what did you think it was one of the most? Dominique and extraordinary pieces of theater I've ever seen doesn't it. Make you wanna go to Newfoundland and meet those levels -solutely. Absolutely. Just. It was just a hundred minutes of nonstop surprises. I mean, it's a funny story because you know, how it starts, and you know, how it end. Yeah. But you don't know anything in between. And it was it was heartwarming and happy and sad. And. It was everything you want. But no intermission. So don't drink a lot of Kokubo before you sit down, and it will be I believe, and we talked to Richard Lewis is coming up next. And I was talking to Richard earlier this week about the schedule for next year. And he says it's already intact. They're about to redo the community center theater. The word is that deer. Evan Hansen and come from away or part of the new season. Well, and come from way has a very minimalist set. So it strikes me that that would go. Well, for the across the street thing where they may not have as many, you know, special tricks and stuff that they can do with the state, so a simpler stage although yesterday in San Francisco, I was telling Tom the turntable broke down that they were working on about twenty minutes before the end of the show. And anyways, they did a great job. We had a great time Clayton you are headed out on a cruise in Australia, which is what seventeen eighteen days. Good day mate. Yeah. I've been practicing that is that the eighteen days that include the the ten days it takes to get there and get back actually, it's only fifteen hours out of. Yeah, we fly down and change planes there. And we'll be down there. Almost three weeks a four day LAX three weeks. No, hopefully, not nearly three weeks. We'll be in Sydney for four days to kind of get our feet as they say and acclimate to the time zone. And then we'll begin a cruise that has a few ports on the coast to in Tasmania. And then most of its focus is on the west coast of. So it's. Fifteen hours you said from Los Angeles, fifteen hours. Okay. And you despite your your your status in United and anybody that you know, and stuff, you're you're you're back in the great unwashed section. I'm guessing I hope to be at the front of the great unwashed ic- so economy, plus sodomy fuss. But so you've got those few extra precious inches of of of legroom. But still it's a long flight. It's too full body rotations. I mean, you know, I consider eight hours to kind of be up you get up. You've got your morning and your afternoon, and then your evening and your night, and then you sleep for then you start over what are you doing to prepare for the flight? And what are you taking with you on the flight to help you get through fifteen hours? Well, I'm not. As I used to be. I'm fifty five. Now, I will confess I have invested in compression, stockings and compression shorts that I'll be wearing shorts for a while. This'll be my first time with stockings. We'll see.

Top Senate democrat Chuck Schumer says it happened after Democrats made their stance clear he sort of slammed the table. And when leader Pelosi said, she didn't agree with the wall. He just walked out and said, we have nothing to discuss Republicans say Mr. Trump did not slam the table. But the president himself tweeted that the meeting was a total waste of time. That after Nancy Pelosi said, she wouldn't support wall funding, quote, I said by by Steven Portnoy, CBS news, the White House acting attorney general Matthew Whitaker who. "Scotty ferrall. I'm not in a good mood. Even though we're twenty five minutes into two thousand nineteen because I'm still upset about something that happened in two thousand eighteen. About a few weeks ago was seventeen eighteen days. I was very excited when my alma mater temple university, which has done a fantastic job in improving the football team. They've taken the football team from a program that some people want to drop years ago and turning it into one of the better non power five programs a program that has done a great job in producing coaches for the power five. Whether it was Matt rule who did a great job at temple whether Rozelle golden who ended up going to Miami Steve adagio who went to Boston College. Or just recently. Jeff Collins, they've done a very nice job. Not only performing well on the football field. Having a program that does not have a lot of controversy in terms of players off the field. They have a very respectable program. Now at. Temple that doesn't necessarily draw the most attendance, but it's a program that's had some fun over the last few years. And it's a program that had college game bet beat Penn State for the first time in seventy four years, and they also won the American athletic conference championship. So this is a program that they don't have major major success. It's not a program that you always talk about nationally. But they've done a nice job for what the situation has been. And they've been a program that was looked at as a program that could have been dropped ten fifteen years ago. And they've turned this thing around and the temple football train is moving in the right direction. But it can only go so far because of the system of college football. So we get into this debate. When they lose Jeff Collins to Georgia Tech after two years. And you get into the debate of if you're one of these non power five programs. What do you do do you elect to hire the next best coach or do you bring someone in that will stick around for six plus years four plus years, whatever it is? And for the last few years, my approach has been you get the next hot candidate. So Matt rural put this program in a very nice spot after L golden the next hot. Candidate was Jeff Collins is defensive coordinator Collins, a nice job. He leaves so decision to make do you go with someone that will be extremely loyal to the university. And may not be extremely popular. Or do you elect to make the decision to get a coach that may only be there for a year or two and temple elected to get? Manny Diaz the creator of the turnover chain who was the defensive coordinator for the Miami hurricanes. And I thought it was a home run hire. You are so many positive things about Manny Diaz. And I was very excited because you hear how great of a person he is how great the coaches, and you heard a lot of people in the Miami community that were very upset. But losing Manny Diaz because of how important he was to some of the success that Miami has recently had so with that being said, you hear all these great things you're thinking temples, get a great coach. But here's the problem. When you're not a power.

"Great news from thailand today members of the wild board soccer team are safe the twelve boys in their soccer coach have all been freed from cave complex where they've been trap since june twenty third they're seventeen day ordeal is now over the bbc's dan johnson is in thailand outside the cave and dan there must be enormous relief there as the diving mission comes to an end the relief has absolutely washed across everyone here who's been waiting for news the tension of the last two weeks all the stress that's built when it was all broken away in last as these i'm violences pulled away from the entrance to the cave with their lights flashing each one a signal that another boy was on his way to hospital the of the boys was safe when the thirteenth left we knew the whole group of being brought out alive and safe and they were on their way to hospital to be checked tova to be treated unto begin recovering from this bizarre ordeal that they have endured for seventeen eighteen days now this is gone on on and it looked at different stages like it may not have the happy conclusion that we're now able to report so that's relief there is joy there is celebration hit the rescue workers the volunteers still leaving the cave and that cheering as they do it and what an they say is what a great team effort to put together this rescue plan to carry it out to bring those thirteen people to the surface alive do you know how they manage to accomplish this as you said it was a real team effort getting all the boys and the coach out safely within just a matter of a few days i think it'll take some time to get a full appreciation of exactly how this was done the story will be told and retold i'm sure the remorse of the dive team coming out now you may be able to celebrations people cheering because they know what a difficult task this was what complex rescue mission the challenge was immense the conditions were so tough this puzzle absolutely impossible to solve whichever way they looked at getting those boys out there was danger that would downsides there were difficulties in reasons why would not succeed they settled on this planet of teaching the boys to scuba dive so that they could be taken out out through the water through the flooded caves to the entrance to safety but that is an amazing achievement in just a few days to have taught some of these boys who couldn't even swim to carry out one of the most complex dives in the difficult world of cave diving when none of them even won't scuba diving equipment before is an achievement that cannot be overstated really it's a fantastic team effort it's an achievement of human endeavor over the numerous challenges that nature just seem to keep laying down in the face of this rescue team but that determination that skill that hard work on the strength of those boys as all paid off with from tustin result today just a ration of how dangerous the mission was there was a tight navy seal diver who died during the rescue the only casualty as for the boys as for their coach they are in the hospital as you said to what is the word on their health well let's spare moment for the family of someone guman he's a full matai navy daiva who came back here volunteered his services because he knew he had the skills only thirty eight years old but he was positively supplying this rescue operation bringing fresh at times to the cave where the boys were stranded and he lost his life returning from the cave that's how difficult this was the boys themselves all in hospital now all getting treatment and we had today from medics who caring for the state that were rescued over the last two days giving what they've been remarkably well they're not really nice elation the boys families have seen them but they haven't been able to be physically reunited they haven't had that embrace not hope that presumably they would have been absolutely dying for over the last eighteen days but that will come hopefully soon and then the rest of their recovery they're expected to spend at least a week in hospital and who knows how much long it will take for them to get over this but at the moment the focus is on the celebration and the respect for everyone involved in the rescue operation brought him out safely bbc's johnson in thailand outside the key for all twelve boys.

"Okay start of the season it was cleveland and golden state and that's it i don't agree with that who else we us ron oh i think toronto win title at the start of the year they'll okay so listen john boston had acquired gordon hayward and kyrie irving the maybe boston had show you say cleveland boston maybe i'm not i'm just saying chance a realistic chance not hey hey that's a good odds on winning and seidel but there there's a realistic chance i would say to and maybe third team in the east and in the west would go to have gone golden state and houston some might say why not oklahoma city well just because i don't think there's there was enough there really don't so and utah who might have been ready to make that step gordon hayward didn't stay now utah's really good right now but i don't know that you saw the beginning of your portland's pretty good right now right now i think if you look at the west depending on steph curry's injury situation you would say there are two teams in the west in whatever order you wanna put them golden state in houston you can flip that around because that's the way the standings are in the east you would say as far as winning the title i don't know of anybody believes team in the east can win the nba championship is that fair yeah obviously one of those three teams whether it's ronald boston cleveland or maybe a wild card will get there but you're right it's it's houston or golden state by rule one of the teams to get there but that doesn't mean that they're going to be the favourite to the realistic new of the nba even some seventeen eighteen days before the playoffs begin the realistic view of the nba is that two teams can win the title it's the western conference final if that shapes up to be what it is houston golden state depending on golden state's health and just think about and that's a good point so we're almost done with the season and even if the season ended when it does end we're going.
