"Roster of the dodgers which is shocking and yeli. It's been covered up. What a bad season. He's had because the brewers are so successful because their pitching staff is so good and he still has a leader off the field and he still is a it when he's name is in the lineup when he comes up to the plate. There's still a concern with other teams but he just looks different. He striking out a bit more. He's not as disciplined at the plate. But if i had to bet on one guy. And i said this on a personal recently if i had to get one. Hit with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. Any player in baseball to drive in a run that particular at bat. I'd want yell at the play. Last season was weird. Obviously much smaller sample but this is like the second straight year were yelling has dropped off. He's twenty nine years of age still young so time per turn around but the prime in a baseball players career i think is around. Twenty seven years old bellinger's twenty six. This one is flat out bazaar what is happening there. So the cynic in me always says when.

Thinner, More Energetic Kim Jong Un Appears at North Korea

"Last week though. Midnight parade in pyongyang mark. The third anniversary of north korea's founding the thirty seven year old dictator kim jong un. He appeared well looking remarkably slimmer than just a few months ago. So doesn't north. Korean leaders slimmer waistline represent a sign that perhaps kim is healthier. If so does that just improve. He's position at home or does a sudden white loss reflect health condition if so is the jockeying for succession happening. Jeanne lee is a senior fellow at the wilson center in washington and a former pyongyang bureau chief for the associated press jane. Welcome to ibc's aaron. It's great to join. You know kim jong owns father. Kim jong il and grandfather kim. You'll soon they both died of heart attacks. So what's the significance of kim significant white loss actually north koreans consider being plump a sign of prosperity and success. So this is you know. Of course only. The elites can afford to eat well in north korea but in kim jong lions case his weight has crept up over the years. I've seen him over the past ten years. At first it was a little bit of baby fat but it's it became a lot more than that. Clearly somebody has said you need to address this

"We were talking earlier kind of jokingly about the Hubble telescope. Yes, And there's a new telescope that's going to be launched. How the James Webb Telescope, We now have a launch date for it. Bigger, faster. Better. Yes. Okay. It is December. The 18th of 2021. Okay this year? Yep. The telescope will launch And they say, Hey, this is the most expensive scientists scientific instrument ever launched. Remember when they launched double they got up there and space in orbit. There's a flaw. Yeah, they had to work through it right ahead doing they had to really did. Yeah. They got up there and fixed it. Yes, yes. They took some Windex and a couple astronauts and banks don't know. I think I think it had a little like plastic film on the camera lens. Yeah, When you get it knew anything and they forgot to take that off. And so that's what they had to do. Plastic cap for on the front of the something. Yes. Yeah, Speaking of that, by the way in this story, It says something that I don't know that I knew. And that is the photos that come back from Hubble. And maybe still be knew this That the photos that come back from Hubble That we've seen for all these years? Yes, I know where you're going. Are actually black and white. This is disappointing. But they're colorized once they get here. Right? They doctor them up. And I don't know if they know what gases look like when you mix them together. And that's the color they would be. But those photos that we see They have been doctored. And it's all black and white photos just disappoints me. Yeah, they call it artistically enhanced. Did you know this stupid that those color photos you've seen from Hubble all this time? It's like it's like 20. TBS did gone with the wind and all of a sudden it was in color. Remember that? No, I didn't know this. But it doesn't surprise me because I've heard for years and years and years that black and white is sharper. Pictures are sharper in black and white. Okay, dissolve that Perhaps NASA uses black and white so they can get a better eye on stuff. But there's colorized it so we know who gets to pick the colors. Maybe they got a wheel on the color wheel. Yeah, there's a seven year old in Houston, right? You know, it gets gets his colors out. But you know what I'm saying? I mean, you know the colors that we're seeing. You know are we actually said, is that actually what happened? In fact, it was one paragraph in here that I want to read to you how, But the scientists who colorized Hubble often go beyond true color in order to show us portions of the image that would have never been visible to our eyes in the first place. Okay? Okay. Hubble, Hubble was sent up before HD. Oh, yeah. Imagine now they'll use HD color on this Web telescope. Well, will there hope so. I bet they will, because HD is sharp, but I mean, when they say they actually go beyond true color within that tells me right there. They're taking liberties with the color. So what? You don't see it? I mean, I'm actually be it What It depends on if they know if they know what color Well, guess is don't have a color. Do they know that's what they're like, Uh, sulfur is represented by red hydrogen by green oxygen by the color blue. They're not really colored that way. But if you fix you, but if you came up with gas if you had two or three mixing together, would they produce Cover. I don't know. It's a good question. Yeah. But I don't think they produce a color. No, I don't think they do have okay. I think these color images that we're seeing. Or paint by numbers. Yeah, That's kind of this point. Is that why I see a mallard going across the surfaces Saturn every once in a while you do? Yes. Okay, but no. Seriously. What? Uh oh, wait a minute. That box Right there. That's um Oh, well, that's that's hydrogen. Make sure you paint that one green. That's what it is. I mean, it's like what it's rather disappointing others wrong here. No. And for 30 years we've been seeing in these images. Yes, Spectacular, Unbelievable Space in right? Yeah, And we're seeing in artistic interpretation of and I was so disappointed to find that out. We got some new idea sidewalk with, you know exactly with they airbrush spray cans. Yes, they look out into space. There's no color up there. What color is Pluto? Okay, right. Yeah. There's no air in space. Well, there's an air and space museum. Right. So come on. What.

Sowing Seeds of Solidarity, After the Tree of Life Synagogue Killings

"On the twenty seventh of october twenty eighteen. A gunman shouted eleven people and wounded six at the tree of life synagogue in pittsburgh in the us state of pennsylvania. The youngest victim was sixty nine. The oldest rose monning was ninety-seven all of those who died. Were members of the synagogue's congregation. This was the deadliest attack ever on the jewish community in the united states and took place the time of rising antisemitism as well as increasing levels of hate crimes against other groups including african americans and muslims in the us four days off the shootings the secretary general of the united nations antonio cherish honored the victims. At new york's park east synagogue. He denounced the mass shooting as a horrendous act. And as you just heard noted that antisemitism is the oldest form of hatred to have endured in human history. There's a big jewish population score hall. So is easy for me to stay really close to my jewish roots. I went to jewish preschool. Jewish elementary school. I spent my summer is a jewish summer camps. Why on the swim team. Kenny werner is a high school student in the squirrel hill neighborhood of pittsburgh the shooting the tree of life. Although she wasn't in the line of fire on the day of the shooting her mother malla says that the family has struggled to come to terms with the attacks. I think if tree of life and what happened there daily still. It's part of my everyday existence. Part of the fiber of who. I am and who my family is. "But for today's one hundred episode. I decided to turn the tables and try to practice myself. One that centers very fittingly on gratitude and appreciation each day for the past week. I wrote down three things that went well for me and explain why they happen. More after this break. Welcome back to the science of happiness. I'm decker kilter each day for the past week. I wrote down three things that went well for me. Explain why they happen for longtime listeners. You may remember this three good things exercise from her very first episode of the science of happiness. Our guest for that episode is now our senior producer shoe colin tari and she joins us today to ask me questions about how the practice went. Haizhu hijacker. yeah. I remember that that was back in twenty eighteen when we first started the podcast and my now seven-year-old was three years old and we went to the marina berkeley and i just remember hearing the sound of the trains and the distance in my son to love trains. Then so now. The tables are turned. And you are the guest of your own podcast. So i wanna ask you know. We have so many different practices on our greater. Good inaction website that you have chosen from and so you're writing a book on all right now like. Why didn't you choose our empathy. What inspired you to try the three good things practice. There's so much work on gratitude in terms of benefiting your relationships and one of the studies i always teach is martin seligman and pan in his colleagues found. Just doing this three good things. Practice six months later your happiness is still lifted up. I mean i have to be honest. You like doing these podcasts. Having these conversations during cova you know during a period. When i was grieving the loss of my brother it was a period of gratitude. Frankly to you know just take stock of what was happening in life into come in here and have these incredible hundred conversations and so i wanted to express appreciation for that. So how did it go. Tell me what you wrote about that first day. Yeah one of them was riding my bike. You know for people who are in an urban area and they don't have to deal with traffic and they can feel the air on their face and the like it always brings me joy. A second was being in this cafe. And you know suddenly like wow. It's just wonderful cafe. You're outside under trees great cappuccino. I was like man. This is human life you know and the third copy by surprise. And it's this meeting place in berkeley on these berkeley campus students are streaming onto campus. And i literally teared up. Seeing all these mass students you know like hugging each other and laughing and riding their bikes and now the full spectrum of what a college campus can be or what a community is so it was just. I was grateful for life so this is a one week activity and i always. I'm interested to see the progression of the types of good things that you notice from the beginning of the to the end. So tell me what were the three good things that you wrote about on your last day of your one week of journaling. My wife and i went on a weekend outing and we went to a place that my family's been going near the ocean for twenty years twenty five years and that already put me in this state of reflection and i was driving up. I had to come back to teach. And i was driving back to this place by the ocean and i just had this. Massive rush of gratitude of one was the california hills you know and i grew up in them as a kid. I wandered them with my brother. Their colors the grasses even though they're parched right now. Make me worry i like. This is what. I relate to the second thing that i felt grateful for. Was this time that we've had with our family and taking our daughter's nailing serafina to this place by the ocean and just like knowing that i would see beaches at sit in the same sand that we had sat. Twenty years ago in sarafina was to you know that was profound. One thing that. I'm also hearing. Is that a theme. Is the sense of place. Yes whether that's on. A bicycle are looking at the students on campus. The hills of california underlying sense of home. Yeah it's interesting because for me. I like a lot of american's bounced around. I was born in mexico. And i moved around a lot. I lived in la and then we moved to the country and then england. So i don't have a childhood home. There's no home. I could go to and say like i grew up there. You know but these practices. Give me home and you so got it like the moment in that cafe and it's like wow look at all these students you know and life felt like home and it's not a a building is not an address. It was just the people in the feeling nice. All of our practices have very concrete steps to follow for the three good things practice right down three good things and an explanation for why you think. The event happened why it went well. And then there's these guidelines right number one give the event a title number to write down everything in as much detail as possible number three include. How this event made you feel at the time number four. Explain what you think caused the event. You can write it. You can tape it. You can sing it that part. There's no rule and every time. I'm speaking to guests before they come on the show. I say here's the rules that were designed in the lab but guess what we don't live in a lab so just do what you can and how you can and i'm not gonna lie when i did this three good things practice. I didn't give the invented title. I started to and i was like this. This is a little weird for me and it still seemed to work out. So i wanna candidly ask you like did.

NFL Cancels National Anthem Performance After Singer Refuses to Vaccinate

"A big football game the big big day tomorrow night. tampa bay is going to host. The dallas cowboys. There's a story associated with the game that has barely been mentioned but there was an article in the epoch times. The told the story of victory boyd. Victory boyd is a twenty seven year old singer songwriter. She's a grammy award. She was a member of the team that produced kanye west's grammy award winning. Jesus is king twenty twenty top contemporary christian album and she was slated to sing the star spangled banner before the tampa bay dallas cowboys game. She asked for religious exemption to not have to take the vaccine well. Nfl said you're fired if you're not vaccinated as you stand in the middle of a football field in a stadium full of sixty five thousand largely unvaccinated people than you can't sing the national anthem before the tampa bay buccaneers dallas cowboys game. Covert insanity is at a fevered pitch. Let that sink in in a stadium. Full an open air stadium of sixty five thousand people many if not most of whom will be unvaccinated twenty-seven-year-old tamp victory. Boyd will not be allowed to sing now. I haven't seen a picture of her yet. But i'm gonna make an assumption. I could be wrong. But i'm gonna make assumption that this is a young black woman and in fact. Yuri are great. Video manager has already found a picture of her. And if you're watching the show on our livestream. Mike online dot com there. She is beautiful young african american woman. You're going to be hard pressed to find much coverage of this controversy and one would think you would be a pretty big story. Don't you think this big story. The woman who was going to sing the star spangled banner before the tampa bay. Dallas game is fired because she won't be vaccinated after seeking a religious exemption from the nfl. Why it's not a big story. You know why you're going to only find it in places like the epoch times evidently because she's a young black woman

"Well as a kid apocalypse was something that i remember having a very religious connotation not that my family or my upbringing was extremely religious in that way catholic oaks. Don't tend to really talk about that as much the rapture and the apocalypse some do. But it's not really a catholic thing so it wasn't really you know super religious but it felt coltie you know because from my colts perspective of the catholic call it was like oh these people think that jesus is gonna come at the end of the world what you know and then as i learned more and more you know. I saw the movie apocalypse now. I started to think about it in those terms. The hollywood terms of world destruction But no more and more and more. I see it as what i think. The i n calendar intended which is just the next bach tune or the next age the next phase and and that doesn't mean that there isn't a cataclysm but i think that it's a natural cycle that the earth goes through like a snake shedding its skin. You know to the little bacteria living on the skin of the snake. It seems like the end of the world. But you know i think we we can survive in a way Spiritually may be if not physically a lot of a lot of stuff I the first thing i want to say is like the the recognizing just the the the alchemy the magic of introducing Concepts like the apocalypse. Were hell all of these sort of things. Like into the minds of children. And how they vary based upon the colt among i position it that way and so that is so ingrained you know maybe not in each of us individually to the level but but collectively you know and that is that right there that right there and i just like to point this out because it's so obvious When you introduce these ideas into the the mind probably of any human being before let's say age nine lake and it's gonna and how much it's been introduced is going to is going to have a huge impact. What happens is we introduce this idea into the mind of a nine year older younger. You are creating the basis of for the most part Lifetime mental trump lifetime mental trauma. Because the the The the intellectual capacity of a of a nine year old or younger is is unable to to brick anything down and you know the younger. You are the closer to five or even younger like more literal. You take that the earlier. That's put into your mind like when you hear about apocalypse you're about like this this thing. Hell which he can't imagine you can kind of imagine any gets into the brains are into the thought process in building foundation of power consciousness. At least one like a built a way is made like back in there and that can't be reconciled with that mind with that five year old mine seven-year-old it's taken as literally as it was told to them so that's why it matters like you know how cold conditions these are years. But even if like you know you ru that say you. You grew up. In a real fire and brimstone sort of household and then and then when you hit eighteen or nineteen you go through your rebellious staging reject everything that you had been conditioned. Because you're like now you see that you know what kind of bullshit or something like that. Still there it's still in there and the less aware you are of how each things have play out in terms of your feet. Deep understanding of what's going on like you know the bigger that bad that influences on a on a deeper level so i mean we can. I think it's very important that we recognize when we're beginning to talk about this idea of apocalypse That these kinds of cromwell dates mind control techniques. Have been part of the western colts in indifferent. Colts have different Aren't control what they do. And so that it makes it you know again this revealing it makes you know until you become honest with one has been put into your mind with the child You're you're still moving on motivations which are which had been Which exist within your your on your sub-conscious beneath what you're wearing it's level to begin with. Now i wanna go pop like what exactly is refocus. On one of papua you know so the the word apocalypse it has a couple of different connotations and it is like you said Generally refers to like the end of times or the end of an age of the end of life But it also has a an implication obviously of Of a new beginning of a new beginning just like what you said like the snake in like you know we go to the snake meeting. Detailing how how widely used that symbol has been used by The coal if you By element but then apocrypha literally means that were bela. And so that is hard of this. This cyclical sort of nature would being implied with apocalypse and again like Apocalypse who it begins. Who's just an idea that there's such a thing in apocalypse But when we look at at the idea we're beginning to play with with viewpoint of his apocalypse we also have to take in consideration that there is revealing of of the bigger picture. Whatever the bigger picture may be or like new individually or maybe us collectively as human being but We begin with that but for my for my from my viewpoint i see it in apocalypse is in in henry coming to kind the wage got the biblical apocalypse. Which is you know. it's tied in very much with Like you know a higher power may be the devil in all of this sort of stuff and then you have an astrological apocalypse which is more based upon like Like you know the great year that the turning of the times the tournament the ages like moving from the age of aquarius to the early age of pisces the age of aquarius or the age of aries the age of of of of a yeltsin after aries would be would be pisces. So there's that element and that's a little bit different. It's a it's a softer immersion of of the end of one age and then The beginning of another and there is going to be teams more like the. The biblical apocalypse is more of lightning. Know the the actual experience. I suppose of middling through that changing of one age to another. And then i guess the third. The third category would be like a legitimate wiping out of life on earth. Whatever would be like no from something outside.

"Flicks is live action. Adaptation of the iconic anime cowboy. Bebop arrives this november with john showing the lead role as of spike spiegel. And the actor knew from the start that he's casting would be somewhat controversial. Spike is a twenty-seven-year-old bounty hunter in the cowboy bebop anime cho- turned forty nine years old this summer. The actor was asked by vulture about the cowboy fans upset that the series did not cast a younger actor in the role to which show admitted the biggest fear. That i had was i was too old. I knew people were going to have issues with my age. And i had to get over it. I'm not a person who says age is just a number or whatever it was gonna be harder physically. And i was going to look different than a twenty five year. Old guy show continued at some point. The opportunity is yes or no. Do you wanna do it. And i did want to do it so i wasn't going to stop myself from doing it for anyone. Who believes show is too old to lead cowboy bebop. The actor maintained the series benefits from him. Being an older actor. First of all. I couldn't have done it when i was cast when i was twenty. Seven chou said. I mean maybe i would have been better suited aesthetically or athletically but in terms of my discipline. I am strangely better suited at this age. I don't think i would have done justice. To the emotional depth. We tried to give spike. There's always a trade-off what young men are typically best at as actors is rage and that might have been more pronounced element of the character when i'm better at being older it's showing weakness and vulnerability and love. Those things are more accessible to me. Personally i'd prefer the version. I'm able to show. That's my

Do Christians Want to Stay in Their Ancestral Homelands or Escape to Safety?

"It's a tough question. And of course taught to generalize but from the people you've met the families your helping and you're trying to feed the christian communities want to escape to safety or do they want to stay in their ancestral homelands. What what's what's the overall sentiment of the christians who've lived there sometimes for two thousand is ninety nine percent of the people that i speak to at least are all wanna stay. They don't wanna leave because they don't want to go to a foreign country and start a new language and everything. I rescued an older couple Husband was eighty seven years old. The wife was is eighty. Four years old and i was asking them. I said you know we're gonna we're gonna. We're gonna move you to australia. They had nothing. I pull them out of a really dangerous place and husk assyria. And i and i said how do you feel about that. And the husband looked at me and with tears in his eyes he looked. I mean he said. Do i have choice. If i had a choice i would prefer to die where i was born. This is where this is where i raised my family. Why do i want to go to another foreign country and at my age tried to learn a new language. It's it's very difficult for me. He said i. I would give anything to stay here But i also am very grateful that at least i could live another day to see my my my grandkids Lou survive and live so many of them want to stay and the churches oftentimes the leaders of the church's bag. They say please please. Please don't take anymore christians in the middle east. Don't move them to other countries. We cannot afford to lose more people and you know i said okay. Fine you know. Find me a place where i can bring them and keep them safe. Because it's it's not. It's not easy when you're in the middle of this. Big ju political fight i mean right now. You know syria. I'll use syria as an example. It's it's a testing ground for for the russians. The try out their new weapons. Trial all this stuff. There's a lot of electronic warfare going on between the united states and the russians on the eastern side of syria. You've got the turks in there you've got you know. Think of every alphabet soup of radical group leadership has been shopping. I mean i can go on and on and the christians are in the middle of all of this You know and they get persecuted so we only hear about the cds and the kurds but we never hear about the

These fake vaccine cards turned up in tennessee which leads them to believe that. There's more of these all over the united states. Where are these fake vaccine cards coming from anybody. "I have brought you here today. Because i am trying to understand this whole. Trevor bauer story. You have been immersed in this. This is basically your beat at this point. Yeah pablo. I am a weird combination of bleary eyed but highly caffeinated from reading court documents up until about two or three o'clock in the morning basically every night this week. Alton gonzales covers major league baseball for espn from los angeles so the hearing that starts today alden. Which is why you've been up all hours. Explained where things stand with that. What type of case. This is because trevor. Bauer has not been arrested. He has not been charged with a crime. Helped me understand where things on the legal side of this between this twenty-seven-year-old woman whose name we are not using and trevor bauer. What's on the line in the hearings this week. So pablo this bauer case. It's neither criminal trial nor a civil proceeding. Nobody is seeking compensation here. It is simply a request from the woman in question for no contact and protection from trevor. Bauer she has been granted a temporary restraining order. And so this week. The court in los angeles is going to decide whether or not to make that permanent now in california making it permanent means that he is not allowed to contact or be around that woman for up to five years and trevor. "Well. David i know you live in paris. France and i know that you believe romance is an integral part of your life and of course you found out. It's an integral part of a lot of people's lives because you did. An incredible video called is romance. Essential in your life and it includes thirty three people responding in very surprising ways. I just absolutely enjoyed watching this video. And i enjoyed the seven year. Old boy in what he said about romance. Can you share a little bit about the experience of making this video and tell us about that. Seven year old boy. Yeah you know. It's it was the idea that i just felt during. Cove it in everything that we've kind of become a little bit gram negative darken transactional and impatient and exhausted in like wanting variety in change. And so just kind of kind of like this. And i wanted to find a way to give people an impression that they could actually change the glasses in the way that they actually see the world and maybe a little bit more from a romantic perspective and so it was hopeful that when i asked this question if romance is essential in your life that people would respond in a way that would go beyond the classical impression of what romances flowers and chocolate. Nice dinner together this kind of thing man and woman you know something like this and i was right because of the thirty three people that responded most of them responded in ways about really their love of life their passion for life. What is it that they love the young boy It was kicking the soccer ball around with his way of being really romantic and really mindful. Right that's in that moment there. The love is happening between him. The ball running and we even have a seven year old man who talks about a forty year a relationship with his beloved. And how is really just about being the everyday moments together and saying nice things to each other and caring for each other and other people through and other things that's related to self love others about caring for each other people just the way that we are being in the world and so i really wanted to get across in these challenging times that we can really just put on a different kind of glasses and create more serendipity and fun and playfulness and compassion. Kindness can come through also and we can kinda be sort of a romantic. They goes beyond the traditional perception of that and again it comes back to this love of life. This desire to create pleasure share pleasure with others in a way that really becomes for me purple

We often say we will be. We will enough but really be authentic enough so that when someone walks through the door they know right away that either they love it or they do not and it was kind of. It's something we've infused with our recruiting and hiring and that's not to be To push people away at all but simply be as genuinely who you are and drew right in his expressive Self be as much of a kind of that. Authentic version of the core of the company the founder or you know for many of our listeners as they're building businesses focus on. Who exactly you are that you can use in your business to ensure that as people come in as you recruit people as you hire a team around you that they're continuing to be a demonstration of these things and if someone is not a right fit they can tell right away so. I'm sure we've all seen the videos. Where one of those bands has snapped and giving somebody a nice healthy welt. Well i have been teaching. These workshops called totally tubular and a woman who had attended when my workshops taught at a local gym in southern california and she was teaching an exercise class where they were using the exercise bands while she was teaching this class. She had the bands wrapped around people's feet. See sat on the floor. Imagine this you wrap the band's under your feet and then you hold both the handles on both the right and left side. It's again anchored by the soles of your shoes. And you pull the band toward your face. A a seated row. Are you picturing this well. In this woman's class someone's band broke and when it snapped. It ripped the cornea off of one of her participants. I leaving her blind in that. I thankfully that fitness instructor was actually an employee of the facility. Where she was teaching that facility had legal liability insurance and they had set themselves up as a legal entity so that no one could be sued individually but there was a lawsuit and the damages. "It's always nice throughout these cold winter weeks getting getting, you know, having a long day, and you get a nice nice Email from one of the pecker heads. Let's see I guess these emails would have started rolling around. Six or seven. Let's see. Someone wrote about Amini heat and greet. And we'll get to that a Royal rumble heat and greet. Don't know if that's going to happen. Hey, peter. I'm sorry. I hate to cut the line for male. But I can I ask the question for. Of course, I didn't know, Greg. I wasn't sure if you were excited or offended. Of our here. I'm gonna hit the job. Anyway, here you. Mail. Okay. Go ahead carry. Okay. So I've been paying attention to the whole Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey thing and the chatter about them possibly being the is it the first female headliner for Russell mania that could be a possibility. What are you guys think about that? Is that a possibility? And would you be here for it? Well, first of all, which of you guys is playing with Legos as we speak. None of us come on with. What was that sound? I don't know. I don't know what you wanna use lying. Don't cover it up something out flipping pages. But I don't know how that was let me let me or the page again. No that you're that little jingling. I do hear that jingling jingling, Greg. Greg you wearing are you wearing some something iced out. No, no, not yet that. That this imposs- it's paper. It's paper. I think I think he's Istat if some of it's happening or you're playing with Legos like the seven year old. You know, what I do think it's a possibility particularly this year when I don't know where they go. Honestly, at this very moment is very early. You know, we're not even in January yet, it's not even twenty nineteen. But right now at this early juncture as we start to as we get to starting to think about the wrestlemainia card. I. I would lean towards it being likely that Ronda Rousey and her opponent, whether it be Charlotte or Becky main events wrestlemainia, it's a great year to do it. They did Evelyn this year. I we know that they wanna bring back evolution or women's pay per view next year. And frankly, I don't know what the big men's match is. So I think it's possible and likely G. Yeah. No, I agree. One hundred percent at its both possible and likely. Especially because let's face it. Becky Lynch is on fire right now. And Ronda Rousey is is Ronda Rousey, she's going to get a marquee match. At wrestlemainia. So if they put the two of those two together that would certainly justify them being in the main event because like you said Piazzi any men's match that deserves the spot. I don't see how they build to a man's matched. That would deserve to close the show the good good question there Chiron, and I think it's definitely possible. Jomar says right to be an Email called DMV life. If you could only keep.

"Listen to that in the car with the kids. I'm sorry about that. And the last thing I'll tell you about the case show, you guys if you're listening right now, and you listen to podcasts every week, and you really do want contact. You're not that into sports the case show, which there's there's an you can listen live on the PIN app or the podcast or if you Tony here. My segment it's called Aeon. There's an e n podcasts you just get my thirty segment thirty thirty minutes segment that I do every night where I do news sports stories that they react to you'd really like the show them. So if you just love this show you'd really enjoy it. But this is one of my favorite sounds ever. It's it's what a caller said this caller made this whole point. I don't even remember what it was about. And then Don responded in a way, where he just like proved a point instantly and the guy had no reply. And so this is now the sound I play whenever someone just get stumped. Because it's just so definitively the sound of someone who just got proven wrong every well. Well, hey, well, hey. You say, well, hey, it just means, you know, way. But you had said that blah, blah, blah. No, no I've tape on the tape. I said, blah, blah, blah. Hey, well, hey, all right. That's enough. Taking stroll down Mike, okay? Show drops. Daniel, bryan. AJ styles for the WD championship. I don't think it's time yet for the new Daniel Brynner's, I just call him Brian. I don't think it's time yet for him to be done. Not by a long shot. So by Hooker by crook. Daniel, Bryan retains. I don't think it's time either. But I'm going to go with AJ styles. Wow. Shocking. Yeah. I mean, listen. Glenn Daniel, Bryan won the championship. He reminded me of that age old saying anything can happen in the WWE, which is really just like them saying expect the unexpected. And so. I'm going to remind myself of that as we head into this match that anything can happen. And even though we expect any O'Brien or the new Daniel Bryan to. Continue. Down this path. I'm going to expect the unexpected and go with AJ styles. While not what I would've expected..

"Don't let it get back to Brock that. I laugh about that clip. I've known. No, no, no. Defined it. I thought we were waiting for you, Greg while we stole him. I pulled up the page and the the shame laurels page on pro fight DB going back to. March. So since they since they came to smackdown. It looks like every match that they've had of the tag team. Except for one has involved either the new day except for two excuse me has involved either the new day or the use. Sauce. Oh my gosh. Well, at least at least the bar came dressed as run DMC. Which was made Cango hats, the Duke the bootleg. They're not even really do. He ropes there. Chains repugnant. I'll lose rematches three matches. I'm gonna go use os. And it's nothing but wishful 'cause I love them. Yeah. I wanna see them as chips too. But you know, what though this is not we have most of the same and says, and it's full black power ranking purposes, I'm gonna go new day because you determine them to be blacker. Well, we yeah. We need a good week while they actually are African American. They are black African American it. Okay. Not pacific. Islanders undis-. Yeah. Okay. Got it. I just wanna I'm just keeping track here of how you. I mean, some are not black that isn't it up to anyone's determination. The rock is rock is. But. But you're only counting that because he's half American black. His father's Canadian black. Sorry, North American black right Somalis are not part of the diaster. They got they own thing going on. They got a good thing going not trying to say anything negative about him. But so the line is you have to be a part of the diaspora. Wow. I'll tell you what the black power rankings. Very very very challenging. All right. Let's get to the meat of this car. Does she let's get to what we're actually here to talk about. We spent a whole damn show. We already have to wrap this thing up in like twenty minutes, and we haven't even gotten to the meat and potatoes of this dam card. Will we get in here? We're getting there. I'm waiting before we get there though. We have to address bronze storm in versus baron Corbin. Okay. A match a match that Barron Corbin is planning to win by forfeit. Yes. Although keep Slater plays a role in this match. I forgot to mention I do like you Slater's referee. I hope he remains a referee. Same especially this conflicted referee that he's playing. Yeah. I'm into the idea of people, you know, being referee. I think that's fun. Not all the time. But you know, him being a referee could be even if you just goes on to become an actress regular sorta referee. I. Cool. I don't know. I gotta tell you. I haven't spent a ton of time thinking about what happens between baron, Corbin and. Braun strowman. What's your what's your take? Yeah. I'm gonna go Bron. We're not expecting him to show up which is exactly why he should probably show up. I mean has to rent. Yeah. I think so. Songo braun. And you think he ends up winning? I do because it's brought like he wouldn't be the monster feet in power through despite injuries. And then what? But then you don't think Barron goes onto become the actual fulltime GM of raw. No. I don't. Although. Yeah, I don't know. Maybe Alexa, bliss gets named GM of raw since we don't seem to know. What the hell's going on with her? Maybe. And that could be a roundabout way of handling it to like she gets named GM raw, and then she grants power over the men's division, which he had already. But now, she's the GO. Gracia we worry about how many sirens we hear when you're doing the show. Nope. Because they're not coming to me when they when they stop here, then we worry as long as pass by kyri how many sirens do here per week from Greg..

"So yeah, he has that one at least. So the I'll go rail so though that was really really appropriate to actually what what is the Ambrose. Look like always looked like he just stopped at Burlington coat factory. He probably did the Molin great Coates to he has probably got some nice boots out of the two. Yes. G G. Lana the week that was made home. I god. All right. What's next, Greg, buddy? Murphy versus vendor whose weight championship match. I don't I don't know. Whether they'll have a great match, and I'll go buddy Murphy to keep I'm gonna go Cedric to regain. All right. He had a great run as champion. Why not why not send it back shoulder and get himself on the black power ranking? Yeah. Of course, why did that would do it? One hundred percent. Oh my goodness. Italia. Versace, ruby riot. Match ruby riot. Messed up because she's invoking. Nazi's late father, Jim the envelope high heart, and it's messed up. But ultimately, I think the reason the story makes sense to me, and that you know, that they're in a big the fact they have a rivalry based around smashing a pair of glasses. I think that has everything to do with this being an opportunity for ruby riots at get you know, to get hers. So I'm gonna ruby. Yeah. I don't wanna see it. I don't wanna see natty go through. A table with Jimmy Hart's. I know me neither. I really don't. I don't wanna see it. But I think that's exactly how it's going to go down especially because the riot squad is right there to like. Who does that he have to toback her up? Rhonda's preoccupied. I'll tell you. I'll tell you. What though I think Jimmy Evelyn her would be pretty pretty happy to be involved in the storyline. Oh, yeah. Like, that's what makes me think that it's going to happen. So even though I don't wanna see it as 'cause like, that's that's nat- ease pedigree. That's what she comes from. You know, like these professionals who? Try to get everything. And like, you know, what I mean, everything can be an angle and get the people worked up so. I don't know. Yeah. I'll go ruby to though, what's an excess energy Elias versus Bobby Lashley. A ladder match. I'm going to lie because I've said this many times if you like wins ally it's going to start getting some wins. I mean, I think we would both agree that the bigger trajectory here moving forward is alliance. Correct. Yeah. Yeah. So what's the point? I mean, Bobby Lashley now is a is a he'll cheater with Leo doesn't really matter. If he loses, you know, you're just trying to get him heat anyway. And I feel like allies that all these matches that he so rarely wins. And he has the chance to be so big like, I always say if he's not going to be Bobby Lashley, some you know, when's he gonna win? I like Elias here. Yeah. I'm gonna go Bobby Lashley. And you just said why because he has he has Leo rush with him and he factor. Yeah. And I do see we all rush getting blasted with the guitar not. Maybe not Bobby Lashley. But definitely Leo rush. Leo rush in his match the other day against allies literally without a shirt on Leo rush. Looks like a seven year old. This is true. This is true, buddy. Won the match though, he won that he found because the odds in his favor. His nickname should be the seven year old just like, my nickname is Gervais. Seventy year old piece ago. What else Greg? Fin ballor. Drew McIntyre, just a straight up singles match straight up old school singles match, I'm going drew McIntyre. Yeah. Same. He's been on a tear. Recently..

"Though, feels is not a winner. So is your prediction the fabulous truth? I'm going fabulous truth at a match. I'm very excited about all. Right. I'm going Mahalia. I see. All right. What's next as she g? Up next. We have a Ramos stereo versus Randy or. Randy Randy Orton 's guys from the mid two thousands tour continues. Yes. So strange for a chef hardy now, Ramos stereo. It is. I I actually am not sure though about who wins. I'm gonna go Ray Yemi to rain hasn't gotten a Mark. He wins since he came back has he he has not. I mean, he'll beat Andrei. Yeah. That was like what's the point of him coming back? If he can't beat Randy Orton in a in a story. That's not even that intense. Yeah. Although it's a chess match. So I mean, they're setting up for some type of intensity that that's certainly favors. The viper. Does it though I feel like the chairs the equalizer the chair is the equality, but who can you picture beating someone down with the chair more like swinging the chair Randy? Oh, and but innovative moves that involve a chair like a hurricane Rana into a chair. Sure or six one nine into a chair, even like some type of springboard with a chair Ray. I'll tell you what Ray has to fear the three most dangerous letters. In all of WWE. R k oh, wow. I was really just using that to stall to look for a Randy Orton drop. I don't have one. Does he does he have any like memorable even botches onto my he's pretty like state across the board straight to the point. Where my gosh, we're the worst does he have any Holo? What about this? "I think that's the way to go. I think that is the way to go. Although before we do that, though, the one thing I have to touch on which I probably we won't get a chance to wit. The preview is the Daniel Bryan. We'll stop Ali match which. Man. Is Mustafa Ali not probably one of the most underrated wrestlers right now because he'd had you talked about in people's match of the year like best wrestler conversations right now. But he's he's killing right now. It's hard for the cruiserweights. You know, it's it's hard for them to get their proper do especially because there's always only a couple at a time. So, you know, if you have buddy Murphy and Cedric Alexander, for example, getting all the pay per view matches. You might end up without. Another person or another two people in the and and there's a lot of really townspeople there. But yeah, that was an awesome match really fun. One of the great things about Daniel, Bryan. But we'll get Daniel Bryan more in a few minutes, but you're capable of using him in so many ways are so let's not waste any time. Let's breakdown TLC s g g we can have some nonsensical Repub predictions, not a winner. And we'd love to hear from you on Twitter Twitter just getting on Twitter. So she hit me with it. And don't get me wrong. We will get to mailbag shortly Rosenberg beats at gmaiLcom. So let's get this one out the way, let's take dance break early the mix match challenge finals fabulous truth versus Molly Shah. Did you expect any of these two teams to be in the finals? Wow. That is. I guess fabulous truth. Once you saw that those starting to work for them on some level is like a fun tag team. I guess in that sense. It's not shocking. You know, what I'm saying because they're over in some way. So why not like the point of the mix match is give people a little extra. And if you have one man woman combination. That happened to be getting over right now. One of the shows should we be surprised that that who that's who's probably gonna win the whole thing. That's true. Emma. Lisa is more crazy, especially as a nickname alone. I didn't even I that's insanity. Weirdly, well, the prize is what like a vacation or something like that. Yeah. But isn't it also the last spot in the rumble? Oh, yeah. It is. That's so crazy. That's. Expense challenge. It has to be a show, right? No, no, it could be a goofy spot. The. It's not like, I think gender Mahal is gonna play a big part in the rumble either. Well, this is why I went that way because gender Mahal while we're spending a lot of time on this. Can you believe is a former WWE champion? I see. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. But Carmelo is the former WWE women's champion and more recently and more likely to and more likely to end up in the picture again, I think than gender mall. You remember how excited I was when gender Muhammad's champion so happy same. I mean, we I made at least on this show. We all we all were. Apparently of TV family. Apparently, Vince,.

"It has not been a good few weeks. Do you? What do you think? I agree with that. That. That it hasn't been a good few weeks that it's been sort of an dip. But, but yeah, I don't know if that necessarily like I don't know that that's the same as saying that, you know, the ratings are bad. And that's why it's terrible. If that makes sense like I can see, you know, the product is bad. And then having your reasons why as being a valid criticism. But I don't know if ratings being bad is as important as the product being bad, if you know what I mean, I don't know if there's a one to one correlation with the. The two. Yeah. Me neither. But I that's my guess is just that the show hasn't been keeping people around. You know, you're not there haven't been. There hasn't been. Near the Rhonda stuff has been. The stuff or the stuff that Rhonda's doing on TV is in you know, like Rhonda's best stuff. Is it paper views? She's can't miss it pay per views, but the TV's, okay? The biggest most interesting thing happening WW my opinion is happening on smackdown. That's Daniel, Bryan. Seth Rollins dean Ambrose is really awesome. If you're a wrestling fan, but wasn't a Dipper senior said that when he was on the show a few weeks ago. I mean, ultimately. You know, or is it us? I forget who said it. But like their intercontinental guys really the really too great intercontinental guys. So, you know, while I really like I mean, I even excited for natty and ruby riot. I I'm I'm, you know, I love ruby riot. But are any of these things that keep you watching TV is Finn Baylor and drew McIntyre allies, and Bobby Lashley is that keeping people glued to their TV's? You know down the down the stretch of a football season. Which even though the Monday night games have been pretty bad. It's been a pretty entertaining football season in general use all part of the issue that that. That ratings are down across the board because of the NFL. Why I certainly don't think it helps if TV has not been good and on top of TV not being particularly good. It happens during the football season. One Monday night football is happening versus happening in March. Yeah, I think there's no way to not factor in Monday night football. And by the way, I said Daniel, Bryan. But also, the next most interesting things, Becky Lynch. She's also on smackdown. Right. Although I expect Becky Lynch to be on raw after wrestlemainia. You think so with 'cause after wrestlemainia right don't they really have to start gearing up towards? You know that that split that network split and moving some people over to smackdown when when is it happening ball October's? Yeah. I mean, it's still have a lot of time. Maybe you're right. I just see her. I just see whenever Becky eventually makes it to Monday of being lit. I guess it depends on whether they feel she's runner course. Completely on smackdown or not. And I guess it depends what Rhonda and Becky end up doing it wrestlemainia thirty gather. If they're separate. But yeah, I'm not shocked at the bad at the bad numbers right now. And I'm not concerned about it in a macro sense. But in the micro sense. Yeah, we two week. I I am found it to be super must see on. Mondays. I I spend more time thinking about Tuesday's. Okay. And that's fan. I guess that's what I was asking. What do these bad ratings really mean? Yeah. I don't I don't. I don't think it's a huge picture except that the TV hasn't been here. I have some audio of me talking about it. Actually, I someone asked me about it earlier. I just want to thank each you want to help grow your he's. It's still. Well, that you take it easy man was that you know, both were Mia. All right. What else does she J that was it? And I guess that rolls us right into. Monday night, raw and the week that was in WWE. And what do you wanna say about Monday night raw this week? Or should. We just jump to a preview and let our preview encapsulate bronze down..

Of course, we got. We got a good paper you coming up this week. We've got a good weekend. Wrestling coming up this week. Honestly somewhat the forward to it. Well, there's that. I'm glad there's lots of preview there. You're right. Nice pay per view Sunday night 'til look forward to as we head into the holiday season on his final battle is on Friday. Where's final battle? It's coming from New York City. I believe they're doing it at the Hammerstein ballroom again this. He I won't be in attendance. I should I should go through. Yeah. I don't see why not roll through with their championship. If you haven't. No, you have unloaded that on pop yet. Shoutout to everyone who got some of my shirts on deep up. I sent a box of about twenty five to wrestling for sale today. So much of my collection that did not make it to deep will soon be available through Ted at wrestling for sale. But I just I couldn't I just couldn't deal with the selling them all myself, actually, I have to delete some which I sent to him today. But don't worry a shout out to everyone who bought stuff, and I'll put up more stuff as well. But anyways, as you see somebody mentioned final battle. I didn't even realize that was this Friday night. So maybe I will go through there and. How what happened outside the ring this week estrogen? It's we got to move quickly because a lot lots of gets you lots of preview for the weekend. Go luckily for us than not much happened outside the ring. But as soon as we went off the air again last week, I got news that Larry the axe Hennig passed away. Yeah. I know grandpa was old. Yeah. Hey is grandpa perfect. He had a good run though. For a good run at eighty two years old for an old timey wrestler. Yeah. He definitely did. He got to see his his son become Awa world champion, if I'm not mistaken got to wrestle with Kurt to actually Tonia Cajun's. They tagged together his son become the intercontinental champion. And then that to see his grandson do the same thing on on a Father's Day. No less. But yeah, Larry the accent in cancer have a lot of miliary with his work. But I do know how. Respected and regarded as a tough guy. He was. So r I p Larry the axe. Yeah. And. And John CENA was doing the rounds. And I noticed that in one of his interviews. He sat down with ESPN ESPN zone Kerry champion, but he didn't sit down with us. I'd say, that's that's bad. You should feel the way Johnson. Always makes us feel like he doesn't have time for interviews anymore. Don't worry we'll play this. Instead you in the middle of MS country. So you take your funny haircut and say that. Unbelievable love John CENA. But I haven't interviewed him. I literally have not interviewed John CENA in legit. Probably. I don't know five years so long longtime anyways, what did you gather from the rounds that he was doing for Bumblebee? I gathered that a Pallini either. Everybody loves wrestling where everybody loves John's sina, he was in the UK on the Graham Norton show, and you know, he he had them talking wrestling.
