"seven million" Discussed on KTLK 1130 AM
"But if you if you look back There has to be seven million Hillary voters that disappeared between 2015 and 20,020. Or perhaps they never existed in the first place. There are also other things in that exit poll that, uh, show there was there was election fraud that that's hiding in plain sight. Uh, That same poll said 11% of the electorate didn't vote in 2016 their new voters. But in another question, 14% said, Oh, this is my first election, right? That's impossible. So if you if you it's easier to figure out how much voter fraud there was a 20 twenties and doing a sudoku puzzle, Yeah, no, I I think that's actually pretty good point. I think this is the one thing that there's so much pushback from the left from the media. Don't look, don't take the time. Don't look at the numbers that a lot of people have been dissuaded. But I do think you make. This is one of the arguments I've been making. Go back. Look at the numbers. Look, look at these battleground states. Look at the very I would call highly questionable results. Look at where there's some of the funding came to boost the blue vote, obviously from Senator for tech and civic life, you know, and the thing I remind people to with all the shenanigans that took place. Was about maybe 42 to 45,000 votes that really decided the White House. But time you add Georgia, Wisconsin and Arizona. You take those electoral votes out of Biden's call and put him in Trump unit to 69 to 69. So They pulled out the stops on a variety of France. The numbers show that and this is why actually, I do have some. I have hope that if we can get some of the election reform, I think that there is a Very good chance we can win again in 2022 2024. Because if there wasn't I mean, and this is the this is the part of it doesn't get talked about very often. At least I haven't seen it talked about very often. Again talking with with Ned Ryan from American Majority. If there wasn't any type of shenanigans going on, think about that, for a moment wouldn't be fighting these audits so hard Well, they wouldn't be fighting the audit so hard, but think about what it means for the future elections in the fact that they actually went and got Joe Biden elected, he ran a fairly non existent campaign of the least compelling candidate I've ever seen in my entire Lifetime. So if they acted as part of the campaign if they didn't then that the apparatus they have created to get Biden elected, needs to be unraveled somehow, because that's That's a very, very dangerous precedent. That was set if there wasn't something ancillary involved. Well, this is this is again why they're pushing back so hard on these audits. I mean, literally. The DOJ is trying to squash them and A variety of places. If you won fair and square if you have nothing to hide, Yeah, let's have the audits. If nothing else, it will be ability for them to go. Ha told you so we want fair and square. But their reaction has been the complete opposite. Which tells me something is that they're deeply worried about something taking place in these audits. I get a notification on my phone. I'm a big NASCAR fan and I get a notification on my phone after every single NASCAR race about 45 minutes to an hour after the race is over. And that is, you know, like this last weekend. Martin Truex Jr is car has passed post race inspection and is officially the winner And it's the same thing. If Martin Truex wins and goes, You're not checking out my car can be like what exactly? No, no, we're dealing with something far more important than ask absolute weirdly with who wins the White House, which is still arguably one of the most powerful positions in the entire world. And we're saying no, No, We don't really want to look too closely at how somebody actually won that office. 6519895855 Matt in Carver Go ahead. Okay, guys. Great show, so you might be able to hear a little bit of anger, my voice, but for the question for you guessed you guys started talking about it. This might be redundant. But how am I supposed to have a conversation with myself? My friend. When they cheated in a national election to win. It, but My only ray of hope. If they cheated, and they put this absolute Foon and often And But what is our records? There's no we've got what n handful Republicans saying anything about it? This is part of the problem. Oh, no, I I wrote a piece today at American greatness. In which I called out Republican leaders and I'm saying that in quotes because I don't think they're really leaders Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell. I think they're gutless wonders, but this is part of the problem. I mean, a lot of Republicans in D C lacked the political courage to actually call something out whether it's on some of these elections. Curious election results whether it's vaccine mandates. You know, even vaccine passports, Fauci. I mean, we were just talking a break about some of this revelation about Fauci emails coming out, and he basically lied to Congress about gain of function funding. For coronavirus. They don't even want to mention these things. These are gutless wonders, and I've got to the point where my piece of American greatness today in which those running for office in 2022 at the House and Senate level should probably pledged in a very public way. We will not vote for Kevin McCarthy speaker. We will not vote for Mitch McConnell's Senate leader. We want Real America first leadership. If nothing else, we want real leadership that shows political courage that actually wants to advance the American people's priorities. So No, I totally agree. I think that's one of the shames to the other Shame of Republicans in D. C that so many of them like the courage to actually question the premise and actually push back. We get a lot of that on the show. You hear from a lot of people, and we express that frustration ourselves of you know, Republicans want him to do more. We want them to fight harder, but I do think a lot of that frustration is born out of a sort of I don't wanna say a lack of understanding for for lack of a better phrase, a lack of understanding of what a congressman or you know an individual actually can do Right you want. You want to see people fighting so tough question. Can you give the listeners a little perspective of like What do you What do you look for? In a congressman, For example, as someone okay, this person is doing the right things. It may not be high profile may not be sexy. It may not be on TV. It may not involve a lot of mean tweets, or, you know, pointing and yelling and things like that. But you know, this congressman is doing good because of X Y and Z. They're actually doing something instead of sending out tweets are strongly worded letter. They're actually filing articles of impeachment. The Rasmussen poll two weeks ago showed that 58% of independents and 40% of them. Kratz. Think that Joe Biden should be impeached 83% of Republicans. By the way, those numbers should give the spineless wonders backbone, so I don't know. Why don't you go on the floor of the house and file articles of impeachment? I know that I'm a realist, right? We don't have the majority going. We're not going to go anywhere but at least do something. Where you filing fight and committees fight all along the way. Where you just blocking terrible legislation filing these things. Not doing what these 16 idiot Republicans did, and actually giving. Joe Biden went on the infrastructure, which is nothing but a gateway to the green new deal. I mean, fight every step of the way and stop with Idiocy of strongly worded tweets and letters. "Show more than seven million households moved counties last year, up almost half a million from 2019. Obviously, the option of remote work helps speed a shift from bigger cities to suburbs or smaller metro areas. But Wall Street Journal reporter Jesse Newman says the moves have been extremely taxing for some families who are waiting far beyond. What is reasonable for other stuff, Jesse, what's happening? Yeah, so what's happening is that we have a lot of people in the country who are moving. They're moving, you know, from one state to another, and their stuff is delayed. It is taking a while for it to catch up with them. And you know the reason for this is a couple fold. There's basically there's there's a moving spree that started last year, so We just saw during the pandemic, you know people up and decide to relocate as a lot of people were able to work remotely and decided to make those situations permanent. So you had people that were leaving large metropolitan areas, large cities and moving either to suburbs or smaller metro areas and and often times across state lines. While this, in addition to other things has put a real crunch on on capacity, and it's coinciding with a big shortage of truck drivers. Now, this isn't news. This isn't new as of the pandemic. But it was certainly exacerbated by the pandemic. So there's just been a years long, uh, shortage of truck drivers and and this is particularly true of long haul truck drivers who you know who cross country and then the pandemic shutdown training schools for a while, and when they were back open, they were graduating. Fewer new drivers. Um, you know, because of social distancing requirements, so so you just have sort of a perfect storm of a lot of people moving and not enough to Drivers, and that means that there are things that people who are moving their things aren't getting to them on time. In fact, often they're waiting weeks and weeks further things to catch up with them. Boy speaking of that, all right, So you profiled the role in family, husband and wife moving from California to Florida. One of the great quotes in your story. They said, You know, here we are a couple of weeks later, and we've got our arrow bed and our dog. Right. That's pretty much yet. They're they're sleeping in a pretty empty apartment. They left California I believe they were packed up on the 22nd. It might have been the 28th. So movers came the 28th of April, Um and told them that they were there. Things would get to Florida. In 6 to 12 days, and now here they are a month later and they still don't have their things, And in fact, they just learned that they're each to of their things is two weeks out. So you know, even if that you to sticks, it'll be six weeks after their things were packed up, and so they are. They're living in a pretty empty apartment. You know, Obviously people are coping but some of the ways that they are coping or sort of sweet and and funny. I mean, you know, they've people are borrowing from their neighbors from their realtors. They are sort of scrounging around at garage sales and consignment shops to find things you know, they're not looking to invest in new furniture went all their furniture is coming, but they are spending hundreds and, in some cases thousands of dollars. Just to duplicate and replace things that it turns out. You can't live about Jesse Wall Street Journal reporter Jesse Newman, six minutes in front of the hour on this morning America's first news.

"Jason Kelly, along with Mike Lynch and Michael Bar. Let's get right back to our conversation with Milwaukee Bucks president Peter Fagan. So Peter help us understand some of the kind of knock on effects as it were for the business when it comes to season ticket holders when it comes to sponsors. Coming out of that bubble year into limited capacity. Now full capacity, Dear District, etcetera. How do you manage the business through that? And specifically there in Milwaukee? Because across the 30 franchises, everybody was in a slightly different position. Yeah, well, I think you know, you know, we don't advertise the fact that this was this was a devastation to the industry. You know, much like the entire country in the entire world. You know, we went from We went from mid stream of the season 20, you know, and we've got a large large physical plants. We've got huge employee basis You know to to operate these and certainly were fueled on content. You know whether it be NBA games in our case, Marquette games, concerts and family events. Kind of good zero. So you know we went into you know, we went into a year, you know, with with not much revenue and losses we had never seen before. So the ability to to really jump out of Of the pandemic with with a high paced winning team with excitement with people like beyond eager to get out of their homes and socialized and, uh it has really kind of has surprised us in a big way. And it is the ripple effect, you know, not just for local economy, but for us, obviously, how do we How do we accelerate season ticket sales for next year? How do we create values for sponsorships? How do we continue to build like our online audience to monetize and things like that? So for us like we figured Hey, you know it's going to take us. It's going to take us a year to dig out of this debt hole and and kind of get back to 1920 levels. And I think if you have a deep run in the playoffs, like what that does is kind of cut that down to you know, we could be looking at normalcy, you know, starting next season, which is Which is incredible. Peter talk to us about the fan base, and especially sort of overlaying that with the arena and you know, balancing affordability and perks and access, and you know, especially at this time where it feels like fans are enthusiastic, emboldened and all of those things that manifest whether it's on social media. Or no looking at various things that are happening across pro sports. Help us understand your fan base and how you serve them as from a customer perspective. Yeah. Great question. Because this is like this is a valued based fan base like you can't imagine. There are price points where there are inflection point. This is this is a consumer basic actually looks at their receipts. It's like I've never seen before coming from larger markets. You know, you never have to worry about beer prices or food prices you do here and you do have to figure out, you know. How we align with the Brewers. And you know what are 20 ounce beer prices in in a big way. People do not want to get ripped off. People want value for their money. People have have kind of stayed on. What's affordability for? Certain ticket prices and what the balance is. And you know we're challenge. We do not have an 18 million person DNA like New York. You know, we have We have a million people in the seventh surrounding counties. Maybe 600,000. In metro, You know, it was just in Atlanta. You know, as we play the hawk, you know that's a seven million person. You know, metro market, you might be able to make some mistakes. You know, as you as you acquire fans and retained fans like In our business like we really don't have. We don't have the luxury of losing of attrition in any big numbers, So we've got to be a winning team. We've got to create unbelievable value. And and an unbelievable service to kind of keep them and work hard for every customer. And so just to follow on that. Does that change the pricing dynamics? Does it change the way you think about Sweets, does it? How does that manifest sort of day to day or even strategically? So it really makes you think about how you segment your pricing in your market places like your skirt. We can have premium He certainly can have, you know corporate driven products. You can certainly have high net worth individual products. You know whether it be the first three rows whether they be Sweets or lots of premium areas. But you really have to balance it, you know, with with affordability and the ability to bring in and you know in this market, you are as much a business as you are a community partner, so you cannot disenfranchised. Like the general public in a big way, and that's a balance. You know that that I've learned, and we've learned like over the last five years that some markets don't have to think about. As much and we really do have to have that consideration to get that. So it's it's a much deeper thought out algorithm particular pricing. You know, for instance, then it then it might be in a larger market. Interesting. All right. We'll stay tuned for more of our conversation with Milwaukee Bucks President Peter Fagan straight ahead on Bloomberg Business.

Music fan community name and business to learn that name if you don't know yet okay now for the halftime show the weekend put up seven million dollars of his own money to make it just how he wants. The also told the nfl network that despite rumors there will be no special guests. You've of course there are cova challenges. But how do you have ten performance will sack of. I'm like i. There's no special guests minded this time. Don't i just. I love the surprise of a special gas. Whatever justin timberlake did it. All by himself. I was so annoyed. Didn't have anybody you know why you were annoying. Because his music pet special guests you were thinking in sync moment. You were being in having all of those nostalgic. Don't have those that many collaborations that you're like. Oh my god. I can't wait for him to bring on x y and z. So i think the weekend is going to do. I heard that seven million is eight billion. He's gonna make a movie for everybody. At home superstars. No one who pitched seven eight million came and gave him a little piece of the money. Let's say it's worth it. But some hard you watching his press conference yesterday and he says like the whole performances boat basically going to be happening in the stands. He's not really going to do it. That much on the field so there'll be a little bit on the field but it's mostly somehow gonna be in the stands because for once you know there's not gonna be as many people right. You can actually get over there. So i'm excited for it. I think it's going to be great. Of course the cinematic experience seems very cool especially since we're all watching home. S are anyways. But that's cool. But i love an element of surprise. Be you know you never know there might be. Maybe just squashed that so everybody can be really surprised. Okay well now. I have a serious question. Do you guys wanna sleep with zane. Malik you can't this weekend. Here's his explanation on furby six. I'm going to be doing an experiment with calls on instagram. They're going to see if they can commercial inside your dreams which is kinda messed up and supposed to make you wake up feeling refreshed. So we're gonna give that a go and see it works. He better not one of those. Matthew mcconaughey dreams chorus actress. I was very confused about this explanation from him. Apparent little more details here to do. This course teamed up with a harvard dr to create a video that puts imagery and your dreams. You can see it on course big game dream dot com. I mean. I think this is a fun experiment. Give it a shot. So what happens what happens. I don't know we open your eyes. Or i guess we're going to have to see. This is still very confusing very confusing. I don't quite understand it but if you ever done that. I see that that happens to me all the time. I thought maybe it was. Just you watch on instagram and dream about it because i have weird dreams about random celebrities or people from instagram all the time because sometimes it's the last thing and it's like i'm dreaming about. Oh i haven't it was like my brother was married to it was either. Heidi clue. Britney spears the other day it was weird the fact that you can even remember you funny. Because once i'm up and i'm like wait. What was that. i can't even remember remember remember. I just remembered that detail. The dream was long. I remember being a long thing. But whenever i try to recap it. I'm like britney was in it that's awesome. Wait to see this or try it or something. I want to sleep with somebody. I'm touched off. Slept touched cena human. Be on the to the closest. Are you hoping chorus. Can just put michael jordan in your dreams. I didn't want to say that cardi be you guys getting pumped up for the weekend as well. She just dropped the music video for her new single up. And let's just say it's absolutely nothing like the pixar movie up. Check it.

"Through so i was blending words because i was reading in so okay. It's a wrap up wonder woman. What would you give it. What's your percentage or one out of ten. You're like what are you one outta ten ten being the best. I'll give it a scenario five. I was going to go first six. But i just think that six is almost too high and forced to low because i was like watch it through and i wasn't like tortured. I mean like i mean. i was tortured watching suicides. One no is certainly certainly easier to watch. It may not have a great plot. It may not be like intelligent. Yeah the we would like but it's certainly a better movie to watch then frankly anything else. Yeah d.c wise. I wonder woman the. I wonder woman is much better. And it's a great movie. Yeah but this one it was. You know it wasn't so i'm looking at right now. Someone wikipedia I see that the budget for nine hundred ninety four was two hundred million okay. Box office is hundred and forty one. Point seven million so well. It was really hard to tell because i mean i guess we could. We could tell the listeners. This is pretty interesting because it was like released in theater and on hbo. max yeah. Yeah because we watched on. Hbo yeah exactly says cloven covert life is kind of ruining the box office stuff right. So maybe hundred and forty one million..
