"Back of the head round was unarmed. You're saying he was threatening them, But then he's backing away and it's the officer going for the car that is a threat. And I don't care what direction you're going. Forward backward. Sideways. I don't care if you're stationary. And neither do our corpse. In our case Law. The district attorney's press conference wasn't attempt to whitewash the unjustified. Kim in of Andrew Brown Jr. Ben Crump, one of the brown family attorneys says Brown was trying to drive away from deputies and posed no threat, the most cowardly thing you could ever do. Shoot a person from behind with their not posing any threat. Harm of violence to you. In that press conference, you could see that the D A was adamant about what he views are the facts of this case that Brown by reacting to the officers and the way that he did turn that vehicle. Into a deadly weapon, and there have been court cases in the past. Similar to this where you have encounters between someone and police were a vehicle has been Viewed as a deadly weapon. But it is also worth mentioning that in that shooting just three of the seven cops fired all 14 shots. Which raises the question of did the other four officers perceive a different threat. "The trump people so horrible is they are rat fucking on steroids. Because this is the projection rat fucking. They did all the dirty tricks deal the election. They turn around and accused our side of doing what they did it. It's almost too complicated. It's enough to make your head explode. So it'll be interesting to get don siegelman take on that and find out who he thinks might be worse. you know if it was if it is karl rove who went after him who got him. Good tell you that. Or someone like roger stone in the rest of the cabal that surrounds the former guy. Speaking of part of the cabal that surrounds the former guy. It's great timing because today. Yes this morning This morning the feds rated rudolph giuliani's upper east side new york city apartment and his office building on park avenue. I love this hakim jeffries. Who is trying to position himself to succeed. Nancy pelosi as speaker of the house. I'll reserve judgment on that. Well i know where i stand but we'll go into that another day because i don't have time today. But how came. Jeffries tweeted quote. It's official rudy. Giuliani is now under federal criminal investigation. Yeah so here's the story rudy's apartment on the upper east side and park avenue office building where bolts searched by the feds devices at the crux of the probe. Investigators have been trying to figure out whether giuliani lobbied trump illegally for favors spur ukrainian oligarchs who are helping him sniff out. Biden controversies one of the key. Questions has been whether he was paid for trying to persuade trump to oust. Us ambassador. Marie ubon bitch. We remember marie-yvonne bit. She was one of the heroes of the impeachment. Her testimony was jaw-dropping. It was just just great and you know. Donald trump always threatened by any strong woman. Anybody who who'd stand up to her. Well there's more. Let me tell you. More harry. Littman tweeted out. Hold the phone. Fbi now at advert victoria. Ten things house. Oh now victoria tensing. It's a lawyer. Wife and partner of joseph degen uva same circles is rudy and trump. This has the hallmarks of a bigger day at doj. And she's probably not expecting it on like rudy. So not only did they re raid rudy giuliani's apartment and office but victoria tensing and joseph degen. Remember they were going to join his defense team and then like the next day said no. We're not and i don't know what that was about whether it was just. They didn't wanna lose their lucrative fox contributor jobs because they get money for that and they probably knew that that donald trump is a notorious shirker in other words. He doesn't pay his bills. So i don't know but there's a lot going on here and yes so this is good. This is good news about something that that judged in obviously a judge cleared the way for these raids carried out and they've got rudy's phones and computers and all right so that's going on hoping to get some bit of justice. Another judge made a ruling this one in north carolina. This one. i'm not so happy about superior court. Judge jeff foster today ruled that today issued a decision to not publicly released the bodycam footage of the fatal april twenty first shooting when when cops in elizabeth city north carolina shot and killed andrew brown. Junior remember it was. I was just yesterday. His family was supposed to see the video. They go to the courthouse or the police station or wherever it was they. Were supposed to see it and they were told. We're not ready for you yet. We have to redact some of the footage which is nonsense because this is not the media. This is not the public. This is the family of the man made killed and so they had to wait so when they finally waited they were finally brought in and shown twenty seconds of video. Twenty seconds when the video started shots had already been fired so the shooting was in processed in progress they have. They didn't have any context. They didn't get to see what precipitated it. They didn't get to see what happened before the shots were fired. They were shown twenty seconds and even at the twenty seconds. They said what they witnessed in. That twenty seconds was an execution now. The judge says no no video for you. We are not gonna show you. What's on this video. i'm. I'm sorry that's just that's just flat out wrong so now i'm hearing well we may get to see it. Let me see. If i can't find this other story that i was just looking at now. I can't find it. We may get to see it after thirty days. But they're saying the judge said his decision not to release. This footage was based based on. I can't make this up. Was based on the footage potentially affecting a fair trial if there was to be one and possibly jeopardizing the safety of the deputies in question now remember there were like seven cops and i don't have the exact information in front of me but there were seven officers suspended. A few were fired their stuff going on here and and for them to say. Nobody is seeing this video. I i think what is on. That tape is devastating and by not showing it to us. You know what we can conjure up in our imaginations. What we think happened is going to be worse than what did happen. Maybe or maybe not. Maybe it's just so horrific that i certainly don't want to see it but we need to see this stuff and i'll tell you something. This story comes out. And and then i see this one and i wasn't even looking for it but let me show you this today. April twenty eighth daily beast one fifty two. Pm eastern time bodycam footage shows fatal chicago. Shooting of anthony alvarez. This is never ending a police watchdog agency in chicago. Released chilling footage today of a cop fatally shooting twenty two.

"And folks a a difficult situation. With this Pearled video. It's just Ah It's just a condition that I wish we didn't find ourselves in. But you have mitigating circumstances in the sense that This Mr Prodi in Rochester, New York, who is deceased, This guy was apparently all wigged up on PCP. It makes people do strange things. Now again, the cops having and face down on the pavement. I'm guessing that whatever distress respiratory whatever was drug induced, I'm guessing there was a contributing factor here. But still if he was cuffed, But then he was uncuffed. It appeared that he was under control. Obviously, the enquiry is on and there's still a lot of questions when you look at the video You know, it's there are some disturbing aspects. And the latest now on the Rochester for this event from back in March is that seven cops have been Suspended by the mayor off Rochester. This guy prude from Chicago, had just arrived in Rochester for a visit with his family with his brother. And I mentioned before the break that he was kicked off the train. This is before this is, uh, a day or so before he actually died naked, running down the street with PCP in a system. But he was kicked off the train from Chicago to New York. Before it even got to Rochester. He was kicked off in depew, New York at that straw stop because of his unruly behavior on the train, according to an internal affairs investigation, according to that report. Rochester Police took Pruitt into custody for a mental health evaluation. This was around 7 P.m. on March 22nd because he was having suicidal thoughts. This guy's had a whole series of events and episodes. Welcome back to Schmidt. If you're just joining us if you're just tuning in I'm talking about the new story on the heels of George Floyd on the heels of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin. And now we have this episode from late in March. That's just coming to light. With a man a black male running down the road completely naked. Autopsy showed that he had PCP in a system cops had held him down on the pavement face down for, like, two minutes. And he went into distress and ended up dying. I'm guessing that the drugs in his system were a contributing factor. But again, the optics here of the police holding him down when the resisting it stopped, that is going to come into question. And again. I'm not passing any judgment here based on this particular story because there was some mitigating circumstances. I would like to know what the tox numbers war as faras the PCP in his system without potentially constitute a fatal dose. What a contribute to him stopping breathing. So there are just questions that I just like in the Jacob Blake case, there's still a lot of questions. I have But in that case, he was reaching into a vehicle a nightmare scenario for any officer after we just broke away from being Tae's twice that had no effect on him. Floyd. Jacob Blake. This guy prude. Now in Rochester. These air all drastically different situations drastically different scenarios, And in fact, Rochester actually happened. First Before Floyd before Blake. But look at it kicked off the train from Chicago to Rochester because he was behaving unruly. Ah, in an unruly fashion. Then taken into custody for mental evaluation because he was having suicidal thoughts. And that was about eight hours. The suicidal thoughts that was about eight hours before the encounter on the street with the other officers who were responding to the 911 call made by prudes brother at 3 A.m.. The hospital in that case, only held him for a couple hours before he was released. Maybe they shouldn't have released him. Maybe he'd be alive still and not able to perform the final episode of running naked through the strait with PCP in his system. Maybe he'd be alive if the hospital had detained them under a psyche Vala longer The city of Rochester. They halted their investigation into proves death when the state attorney General Leticia James, And her office began their own investigation back in April and the way it works under New York law, deaths of unarmed people in police custody or almost always turned over. To the a G's office and that supersedes a local investigation and the G in New York's office. Says the investigation is ongoing. Couple of things here. Given that this all happened the same night that the man was briefly hospitalized, Probably for that psyche, Val after expressing or exhibiting suicidal thoughts, a tendencies of behavior. Hey, was demanding The gun, right? He So the reports are that he was telling the cops. Give me your gun. Give me your gun. What was that about? Was he demanding the gun to shoot himself? It sounds like this guy's pretty screwed up. Having severe psychological episodes here a multitude of these episodes. Another question in the event that there are charges filed against one or more of the officers. We now know that seven officers have been suspended. Cannon arguably made that given the circumstances march of 2020 in the state of New York could the defense argued that the man spit was potentially a deadly weapon? I I'm I'm just thinking out loud here. I know the New York A C l u there Joining with the family, they're calling for swift action. They tweeted Daniel Prodan needed mental health assistance. Instead, he was handcuffed in near freezing temperatures and killed by Rochester police. His death was unjust, Inhumane and avoidable. We demand justice for Daniel prude and his family. It just sounds like this guy was out of his mind. Cops deal with this all the time. They deal with mental cases, people that are having mental breakdowns, mental episodes and the bulk of them. Don't die. There are Thousands and thousands that have dealt with it. Don't don't And of course, these types of cases and stories get amplified. Again. So the cops have done something different here, But you've got to put yourself in the shoes of the police. They deal with very difficult situations and by and large 99% of these cases were handled and people don't die. I would like to know what affect the PCP and its systems has system had on his Lack of breathing or him stopping breathing. The bizarre situation. Let's go the phones on this. Thank you Any thoughts folks you want to weigh in? So now? This is another case. The family just coming out yesterday with their video. With the body cam video that they received by a Freedom of Information Act out of Rochester, New York, on the heels of Floyd of George Floyd on the heels of what's going on in Kenosha with Blake. Is the family coming on now? Are they doing the right thing to bring this to the attention? Or is this fanning the flames for further unrest? Are they jumping on a bandwagon here? 808 01 89 99 808 018999 Barbara is up next in California. Let's hit. Lovely San Diego. Hello, Barbara. You're on Schmidt. Welcome. Yes, I just wanted to comment. It seems like to me that so many of the police confrontations that end up with somebody getting shot. A lot of them seem to me like Purposely suicide by cop. That's what a lot of them looked like to me. Well, some I know better. I know better than to act like that of a cop stops me. Of course. I think we all do rational individuals. Certainly we know national. Yes, a rational individual round better. We know not to behave in that fashion comply with police on DH? Yes, is their suicide by cop or they're individuals that want to get shot and killed by the police. They'll lunge at an officer with a deadly weapon wanting to be shot. Yeah, that does happen here. This guy was unarmed. I think the police knew that he was unarmed and he was naked. So it's not like he was hiding a weapon. They knew they didn't have a weapon is in his hands. But Area's running them the street..

"Small guy, tiny hill, fight, six, seven cops, I it. You cannot contain that guy. So this day on not my dad's block off all the time. Really? Yeah, man punch my mom the, I remember what you came to the school, the black Isle's God damn man. And when did they finally institutionalize? How old was he? You know, it you the, the state can only call somebody like that for slow so long because it's the hospital gets filled often, my brothers, very smart. He knows how to play the system so he'll get out and then he'll start a fight. He'll rob, he'll do whatever it takes to go back in. And that's always been my brother's hustle. But why he doesn't like being out everybody wants, he wants to get out. But when he's out, he knows he needs to get in because he's a, there's a shower there. There's food. You know what I mean? So he's on and off the streets, kinda guy? Yeah, put my brother, it's, it's hard man. I can't imagine, but don't they shot that special. Tacoma sisters, let's go visit Robert. I'm like it's gonna. Bring me in a different space man before the special wait. I can't. Yeah, you know? Yeah, tough. And, but he's he's in a place now that he can stay, don't he'll get out. He'll get. It's just that it's, you know what I mean? It's it's a routine mart. Right. And what does he do on the streets? He'll live on the streets and put them in a group home, and then he'll get into a fight and then the, they'll arrest them and then the judge will get him on medicine for schizophrenia though. Like there's he's fine. My brother's case is worse than anyone can imagine is it's pretty bad. So he's we can call my brother right now and he'll start off as robber and then it'll just go somewhere else and it's hard to get off the phone like he's talking about other worlds. Yeah, he's delusional. It'll go somewhere else on sad. Yeah, it is. It is life. It was just sort of that. Yeah. And your dad you feel like in retrospect I hated my dad have for leaving. Yeah. Yeah. And I hated his parents. That's why I call them his parents. You know, I never had a relationship with his parents and and he knew that he cried. My dad cried to he. He said it was the time it. You know what I mean? Like I was, I get it and then signed never had a relationship with that side of the family. I don't know any. One on that side of the family left on nine ten. I think ten and it just sucked too. And so my mom raised me then my aunts raise me, my aunt Mamie joke Hoy, like, you know what I mean? Like like, that's that's where it all came from. So in Tacoma, your dad takes off. Your mom creates the Filipino American itself. I'm sorry. I did say that she didn't create it. She became part of it. They they founded like this together. It was Philippino says she's still friends with a lot of them to this day. But yeah, that's we would hire they would rent out the knights of Columbus hall. Yeah, it was. I don't know if you know what that is. Sure. The knights of Columbus hall rented every Sunday and you know these families, each family would bring like some type of Filipino food is there was Philippino restaurants out there. Everyone would bring some type of food and there'd be a big table. And yeah, it was potluck. And of course they'd make the kids entertained, and that was my sister and I would do the most of the entertainment. I would dance. My sister would sing really every Sunday where there are other kids. There are other kids..

"Yeah or whatever like not out of only fear the other things this looks to news stories that are guess what actually pretty much the same new story three while a group of four women but three black women in that group were checking out of an airbnb in realto california pretty close and they were they were like moving their stuff out of an airbnb a neighbor thought they were burglarizing the place and this is in broad daylight broad daylight and so called the police and seven cop cars showed up and told them that they were being an and they said they were being tracked by helicopter so maybe they're lying about the helicopter thing but still seven cop cars like shut down the block so seven cop cars were called for burglary first broad daylight burglary where with women pulling luggage rowley bags suitcases yeah if i'm going to rob a house i'm not doing it in a cute ass romper and a sun hat like this girl was dressed and the neighbor said oh spoiler alert that's genius that's how tony rob's houses actually she at this out cut his co part out genius black where a romper you know you get away with it two or three times and then you do get shot by helicopter well this proves i wouldn't get away with the first time yes sort of true but the so the lady that called the cops i guess told them the reason she called if she felt justified calling it was because when the women exit the house they didn't wave back at her because she waved to be like are you legitimate or are you burglars classic universal wave while we all know way we've been we've all been to the police academy and the first thing you do to determine whether someone is burglarizing places if they don't wave.
