Sen. Ted Cruz Erupts on Reporter's Democratic Talking Points at Border
"I'll share with you the frustration of senator Ted Cruz. He got real fired up. He's at the border, and he got into a one on one with somebody who was challenging him on the Republicans and the and the border. Listen to this. Let me ask you something. Let me ask you something. What rate of alien immigration do we have in 2020? But you have the thing. I asked your question in office. Do you know anything? How long have you been in? I've been in office 11 years now. I think the calendar in multiple administration accepts your okay, you don't get to argue with me. You ask your question. You ask your question. You don't want to hold a press conference. You can do it over there. You want to hold a press conference, you can do it over there. How are you? So hold on. I'm going to answer his question. The talking point of the Democrats, which this media reporter happily parrots is gosh, the problem can't be fixed. There's one little problem with that it is an utter and complete lie. In 2020, the last year of the Trump presidency, we had the lowest rate of illegal immigration in 45 years. You ask what have I done? I've championed the men and women of border patrol. A champion securing the border, a champion remain in Mexico, and we turn this problem around and solved it and we went from Joe Biden inherited the lowest rate of illegal immigration in 45 years and the first day in office. He made political decisions to cause this problem. And you should be ashamed of yourself because you're a reporter and you're not reporting facts. You're telling lies.

Ted Cruz Warns DHS Secretary Mayorkas Should Be Impeached
"Senator Ted Cruz joins us now, senator, welcome back to the program. You are calling for a quick impeachment of mayorkas, walk us through it. Well, Charlie, great to be with you. Alejandro mayorkas has done the worst job imaginable as secretary of Homeland Security. Under his tenure, we have seen the worst illegal immigration in the history of our country just last month. We had the highest illegal immigration ever recorded in a single month in the history of the United States of America. And it's not simply that mayorkas won't do his job. If he had utterly abdicated his responsibility, if he did nothing, if he just sat on a chair and spun. That would be better than what he's been doing. Because doing nothing at least wouldn't do affirmative damage. Instead, what he is doing is he is actively defying federal law. He is actively flouting federal immigration law. He is directing those under his control, not only not to secure the border, not only not to deport people coming here illegally, but he is directing them to expedite people coming here illegally to process them more quickly to make it a faster process. So the 5.4 million people that have crossed under Joe Biden's presidency, he wants to more than double that number. He wants to get faster and process Alejandro mayorkas today is the world's largest human trafficker.

What Happened to the Popularity That Nikki Haley Once Enjoyed?
"Happened to the popularity that Nikki Haley once enjoyed? Let's go to a couple pieces of tape here. Let's talk to, let's see Nikki Haley here talking to Brett Baer, cut 50, two weeks ago. Nikki Haley teasing that she's going to run for president. Now we know she is play cut 50. But when you're looking at a run for president, you look at two things. You first look at, does the current situation push for new leadership? The second question is, am I that person that could be that new leader? Yes, we need to go on a new direction. And can I be that later? Yes, I think I can be that leader. I've never lost a race. I said that then I still say that now. I'm not going to lose now, but stay tuned. 52, she continues and says it's time for a new generation to lead play cut 52. The survival of America matters. And it's bigger than one person. And when you're looking at the future of America, I think it's time for new generational change. I don't think you need to be 80 years old to go be a leader in D.C.. I think we need a young generation to come and step up and really start fixing things. So Nikki Haley running for president shows that Donald Trump is going to have some serious competitors. Competition. Now, Nikki Haley is not going to resonate with the grassroots base immediately. She's going to raise a pile of money though. A ton of money. I can say this as somebody who has been very blessed to raise a fair amount of money at turning point USA and turning point action and turning point pack and been around the conservative donor space for ten years and I listened to what they have to say and I agree that some and I disagree some but Nikki Haley is definitely a consensus candidate for the American conservative donor class. They love Nikki Haley.

Is Nikki Haley About to Put Her Hat in the Ring for President?
"Nikki Haley seems to be running for president of the United States of the scoop last evening. The media is reporting that Nikki Haley is going to announce for the presidency on February 15th. The day after Valentine's Day, you see, a couple of years ago, Nikki Haley was really looked at as the future of American conservatism. Objectively she was a very conservative governor of South Carolina. That is true. However, she would always go out of her way to try to pander to media narratives and Donald Trump selected her to be the ambassador to the United Nations when she went and became the ambassador to the United Nations. That's where I personally started to find a lot of disagreement with Nikki Haley. Let me say this before any further. I've actually had a very warm relationship with Nikki Haley. I know her son. She has spoken at turning point USA events. I have nothing negative to say about my interactions with her. She just recently spoke at a turning point USA chapter meeting in Clemson. I'm certainly not supporting her for the presidency in 2024. We're going to talk about that, but I find it very interesting. I find her candidacy interesting for a couple reasons because it does show that despite all the bad news, I think the party is changing for the better because a couple of years ago, even prior to Donald Trump, somebody like Nikki Haley would have automatically been accepted as a consensus top tier candidate. But Nikki Haley, I'm sure you could find an article. Somebody could have Nikki Haley 2000 16 or 2018 2020 presidential poll, some poll that somebody did a favorability. She used to be one of the most popular Republican figures out there and she is no longer. Now she could, again, and I'm going to walk through how I think we should not underestimate Nikki Haley. I think she's very talented. She'll raise a ton of money and she works, man. I'm telling you, she is ambitious.

MorningStar Ministries' Chris Reed on the Conditionality of Prophecy
"I'm talking to Chris Reed of Morningstar ministry's Chris. I'm sure that there are just people stunned by what we're talking about. I encourage them to watch the video where you deliver this stuff at Morningstar TV dot com so they can get it. But so you said that, first of all, the, that the Prince Andrew, who has been plausibly tied to some of the Jeffrey Epstein stuff that this would overwhelm him to the point that you said he would try to take his life or he would be tempted to take his life. The thing that you just showed us on the screen implied that he would succeed in that. But when you spoke on December 29th, you told us to pray for him that you didn't see that as a theta complete. Yeah. Yeah, once again, I want to say, some of these things, you see in part, you see glimpses of it in these visionary experiences and I saw him in such a place of desperation and grief. I mean, of course he lost his mother and so on and so forth. And I saw him try to take his own life and it seemed like he was successful, but another part of me felt like that this could be prayed against. Just like this whole thing I saw with Ted Cruz. I thought a health crisis, you know, coming for senator Ted Cruz and I feel like that can be averted if enough people begin to pray because we need him. He's throwing conservative in Texas and I'm praying God will protect him and preserve him and keep him from harm. Well, so some of this stuff is conditional and you're just talking about what God showed you, but you did you did say that God clearly showed you that the marriage of Harry and Meghan would not last. He will be played the fool, yes. He will be he will realize at I can't, I don't know the exact date of this, okay? I'm sharing in 2023 things that could happen. I don't want to limit this to 2023. Cruz Ramps up Criticisms of Big Business
"Let's talk about ted cruz in a new opinion piece for the wall street journal. Senator ted cruz pretended as though he wants to hold corporations accountable. But it's not due to their mistreatment of workers or the fact that they tend to severely underpaid the very people who make revenue for them. It's because he's worried about culture and how corporations are engaging in it. It's titled your woke. Money is no good here. Where ted cruz pretends if he's not gonna take corporate pack money argues the corporations have taken advantage of republicans for too long. I won't take their pack dollars anymore says crews so first off. Let's just acknowledge and get out of the way the fact that we don't believe him i personally don't believe him. And the fact that he's pretending like he's not going to take corporate. Donations is ridiculous. But moving. Moving aside or moving to the other part that i wanted to bring up you know. He angrily writes about how these corporations are speaking out against georgia's voter suppression law. And he believes that that qualifies as engaging in whoa culture. Don't to be clear. I do think that the democratic party has a problem with quote unquote woke movies. And get to that in a minute. And i want people to understand that. It's actually a very nuanced issue. That is hurting the democratic party when it comes to local elections when it comes to the federal elections and we'll discuss it but crews argues that had these watch me woke it up. Relaying what they had learned in two weeks in Wuhan. One of the key things that came out of their report was, they said it's highly unlikely that the coronavirus came out of the lab and Wuhan, China. Well. Last night, one of the advisers to the W. H O J. Me Metzler was on Fox with Laura Ingram. He's an adviser to the W. H O. And he says he's very alarmed by their report yesterday, he still believes Came out of one of the labs in Wuhan. And he says they were there for two weeks. They were not independent. They sat and listened to reports from Chinese officials. So China got to tell them what they think and believe. Yes, yes, Here's part of what he said last night, and I'm just neft that this has happened. I think it's really terrible way don't know Most of us don't know exactly how covert began. But certainly an accidental lab leak is a very, very credible possibility. Then, he says, the world has to get to the bottom of this and find out the truth. Well in the best of all possible worlds, we would have an international team that would be able to go to China. And have the ability to do an unrestricted forensic investigation of the Wuhan Institute of Neurology and other sites. This is in many ways a potential crime scene and Senator Ted Cruz this morning agrees with him. Senator Cruz reminds all Americans that there were reports of terrible safety practices at these labs more than a year ago, he says, people should remember that and we need to learn what happened at those labs. Both of those labs were not only studying viruses they were studying Corona viruses from bats. And the State Department more than a year earlier, had commented on the poor security protocols at the at those viruses that said in writing that there was a risk of a global pandemic originating from those government lands because they did such a poor job. Securing the virus is there's never been a thorough, credible, impartial third party investigation into it. The Chinese government immediately went into panic mode to hide this. The W H o today said, Well, we know that it didn't escape from the government labs. Why Because the Chinese communist government told us And members of that wh o team are now getting very defensive. They're getting angry. They're hearing this pushback and questions about the labs. Why? Why are you just so quickly taking the word of the Chinese that it was not at the labs? Well, I said it yesterday and I stand by it. It's kind of hard to believe when you've got a group made up half of the Chinese individuals, half of the WHO, and they're just hearing reports they had they come out and said, Well, we can tell you for sure it did not leak out of this lab because, blah, blah, blah, whatever the evidence is, but for them to give a report And I think that we're going to place any trust in it by saying it likely because it's a rare occasion it most likely didn't come out of the lab. It's likely it came from this Or maybe it's likely it came from that. They didn't give any Anything that was definitive on, Okay? We figured out the origin or we absolutely were able to eliminate that This was the origin. It was a con job. Just to cut to the chase. That's what happened yesterday. With that report here. "Is very bad. And I and I'm appreciative of Senator Ted Cruz, who is during his confirmation hearing, especially with Pete Booty Judge Just went after him about the XL pipeline. How many jobs they've lost, and he doesn't care. At all. So for those workers, the answer is somebody else will get a job. The answer is that we are very eager to see those workers continue to be employed in good thing. Union jobs even if they might be different ones. Okay, So, so we're gonna cancel your job. We're gonna We're gonna make sure you're unemployed. And then we really hope we're eager to see you get another job were eager to see you get over. Not gonna help you find one? No, no, no, no. And he doubled down that the environment is more important that today's Democratic Party is not concerned with working men and women having jobs. And that the answer is will eliminate your jobs. And I guess good luck in the future, then Senator by the way, That's a great question. So basically he's good luck in finding something else again. Senator I think the answer is that we're going to create more good paying union jobs. So we can do that, while recognizing the fact that when the books are written about our careers, one of the main things will be judged on is Whether we did enough to stop the destruction of life on dropper T due to climate change. I've got to believe we could do both of those things. So there you go. That's it. Wait if when the books are written when history judges us They're they're not. The books will not care that we destroyed families that we destroy jobs that we left people on the unemployment line Or is there saying in the Koven thing here out of the food lines, we left him out in the cold. But you know what Way Lord, our carbon emission by 1.5%. That's that history will judge us correctly. Meanwhile, China's coal production went up. The highest point ever. In 2020, they pollute more than America and the European Union combined. So if anyone's going to do anything to stop, climate change is going to be China. And the problem is that Pete Buddha judges and the Joe Biden's of the world You're not strong enough to stand up to China, and they're gonna make them join the Paris climate change as a not a developing nation because they have a carve out so the world's most polluting country that puts the most carbon in the air that for half of the year there, major cities are barely livable because of smog and pollution. They get a pass. They don't have to change anything. But we United States of America. We're just gonna lay people off. We're gonna have families go hungry and have to make more difficulty decisions because we like a pipeline that doesn't even contribute to the carbon dioxide problem over the world or the United States. No one wins in that scenario and ultimately Buddha judges being told what to do, and his job is to figure out how to explain it to the senators. And that's the best he could come up with. Otherwise, He basically just said, I don't really care about those jobs. A lot of jobs from Wisconsin. You know, that stated overwhelmingly voted for job. Oh, yeah. 20,000 votes, everyone. But don't worry. The National Guard was on standby, ready to act. If any one of those people kneeled during the national anthem, E was mightily concerned about the fashions on display from the people trying to do the coup. It looked like farm and fleet goes to burning man. It was really you know, I was looking at it, and I love how the capitalists of open rights like it's the People's house, and that's why it was easy to get in. But I have to say there's a castle on the island that that I'm from in Cove, and it has like little slits at the top of it to pour hot boy light of it has it has what's called a murder hole? Yes, on and it works. You know, it's worked for 2000 years. No to keep out the marauders, and they're terrible fashions. Did you ever have to? As you were growing up in this island? Serve in the castle to defend from marauders? Or does that only happened once you move to America? Yeah, It's funny, isn't it? A lot of people are like this is not America I'm like, but I've only ever seen this in America. But on. I should also say that, like the castle in Cole's now they just project the big Santa falls onto it at Christmas time. It's not the murder hole is no longer in use may well, not yet. Now we should say that the people who tried to overthrow democracy did not, at least for the moment when they did not stop the certification of Joe Biden's victory. There's the Senate reconvene later in the trash capital, and Mitch McConnell gave up heartfelt speech about democracy after which he had to give the heart back to the cadaver. He stole it from. Oh, But what was amazing was after all, that all of that Senator Ted Cruz still objected to certifying the election, which led to the second unimaginable event. Of the day. People hating Ted Cruz even more if you don't. Well, it's so hard to look at Ted Cruz sometimes because he looks like his own, madam. Two Sods statue is melting, you know, like, Look, it looks like you just he's wearing a mask of his own skin. It's so creep, huh? The session was adjourned for an hour so that both the House and the Senate could move to their respective chambers and then debate the issue. Senator Ted Cruz in the Senate began with a five minute statement. With a completely reasonable and I believe Josh Holly also gave his remarks. I haven't seen his remarks yet will bring those to you, though it as the afternoon develops, and they asked for a simple thing. They said. Listen, what is the rush here? We want 10 days. Have one full, honest. Observation of this process of what happened in these states. It hasn't been done yet. All these people were saying, you know that they made the argument. Give us a 10 Day audit of this thing, Senator James Lankford of Oklahoma began his remarks and in the middle of it, it was interrupted because on Capitol the Capitol steps, the Front end of the protest mark that had made its way up to the Capitol steps had tangled with Capitol police pushed their way through push their way into the building and and had Basically breach security in the capital building. They evacuated the building. They've put both chambers into recess. They suspended the electoral college tabulation. Every member of Congress and every member of the Senate, every member on the president. United States is calling for this to stop. They're calling for an end to this. The president's taken to Twitter twice now to express those concerns. I think the president should actually get on television. Um And and call for this to end right now stop doing this in my name. Stop doing this in this in the name of this cause that's the president has said on Twitter. He should say it on television as well. On been the meantime, we're seeing this unprecedented moment where the business and I do hate it when people say I'm president, But this is pretty unprecedented where the business of Congress of the United States federal government have now been suspended because of a breach of security. And because the building has been in many respects overrun by people. There are alarms going off all through the building on they're trying to clear it out. There's not pictures on social media off people. Ah, you know, making their breaching the Senate chambers and taking Selfies. Upon thee upon the chair of the president pro TEM of the Senate. I mean, This is what we're dealing with right now. As they have broken down the doors.

"Lower Now by 3.6% again, recapping Equities lower a Monday sell off back to work sell off with the S and P down 66 a drop right now of 1.8% balance of power continues. And once again here's your host David Western. Thank you so much Charlie Palate. So Wednesday, The Congress meets in the joint session to record the electoral college votes and formally designate the next president of states. But the Constitution provides a process by which senators and congressmen can object to the tallies from individual to individual states. And it doesn't Republican senators and over 140 Republican congressman have said they will do just that. This is how Senator Ted Cruz explains it. We've seen in the last two months, unprecedented allegations of voter fraud and and and that's produced a deep, deep distrust of our democratic process across the country. I think we in Congress have an obligation to do something about that to take us through this process. Welcome now former Democratic senator from Montana and former U S Ambassador to China Max Baucus. So, Mr Ambassador, Thank you so much for joining us. This is not the first time there's been a challenge like this. It happened after the 68 presidential election and haven't even after 2004 presidential election. Is this the system working the way it should? Well, I think in the end, it will work in the end of Joe Biden will be the next president. I think all those senators who were potentially going to contest the Results on Wednesday. No Joe Biden's gonna be president. In fact, In fact, I think they'd be very irresponsible to try to have it both ways because they know by their actions and Delaying They never got result, but they're also by the actions of playing to their base is very political. Many of the water run for president 2024. But if there's any chance that their actions with upset the elections, they would not be taking these actions because they don't want election upset because that would cause tremendous consternation the political process and answer your question, David So it will work process will work so long. This result is what it should be. Don't forget 206 left. Vulture for job by only 2 32 Afraid, trump. So it's the end in the end, middle of work. It's which seems to put everyone believes it will work on in addition to the electro ball vote count. You also have a remarkable number of judges and courts there, reviewed this and have found no evidence of voter fraud. And I'm struck by Senator Cruz is remarks. If you really parse them. What he says, is we've seen in the last two months unprecedented allegations of voter fraud. We don't hear much from the White House about actual proof of voter fraud. Lisa I have not heard that. About that's very true intact. I had the same reaction when I heard of Senator Cruz's statements. They all say allegations even around Montana. Who's gonna vote to contest Uses the word allegation. None of Any proof? I didn't say they have evidence. As you said off the course where this has been contested and found the rabbit is strange. Oh bar while people have found a voter fraud, there's no fraud in this. The suggestion of a commission I think is just bogus and me. It's a smokescreen. It's a red herring. It just talked, and basically they want to slow things down and play to the base because they want to get re elected or run for president s O people run for office and they do various things and savory things running for office. But also there's the business of the country that has to get done here. What might this portend for the Senate in its ability to operate? I mean, we just heard a report that now Mike Lee, a conservative publican actually led the defense and the impeachment for President. Trump says he doesn't think this is the way to go. There's divisions even within the more right part of the Republican Party. There is, uh, unfortunately, I think is a deeper Drift in the country. People are falling into their own little silos. They don't really care much about facts, and then it's also reflected in the Senate. It's been it's reflected. I think pretty much nationwide is a big problem. And frankly, I think that it's major. Challenge that the press select Joe Biden must face when he is inaugurated on January 20th how to get bring the country together, really, and the way he's gonna have to do that is to show That he the president and both parties we're gonna have to show for it is they do in fact, listen to they are listening to a lot of people in the hinterland. The country who feel with If the elites and Washington aren't listening to them, And I think that that perception that the elites aren't listening to borders is with causing a lot of this division. We've had several people come to the office of presidency, saying We want to bring things together. Certainly, President Barack Obama said that he wanted to that if we go back to President George W. Bush and I remember his first inauguration address One thing's he committed himself to was really overcoming partisanship so people have tried is that the people weren't the right people to get it done, Or is there more something more fundamental in the country? I think that a lot of it is that is caused by the media. Some of it is a cable news. Some of it is social media, the Internet. Um people of shorter attention stands these days and immediate and then bad news has reported seeing currency travels faster than the good news and unfortunately that I think is caused people just It's done. Think enough. That is Listen enough, have their minds open enough. They're big question. How do you solve it? And I think that one way is for the president. The new president. Really show that he is listening. He may have to get all get around the country does have a lot of time meetings. This show we really is listening. I just talked to people that listening, Joseph talker just could have to listen. Indeed it does. Listen, and people see that he's listening and really under 60 Boy. Maybe this guy really does care about then maybe something might happen. What do you make of the Georgia to run offs that we're going to have tomorrow? Now? I mean, at the beginning was thought that it was a real long shot for both Democrats to win. But now people think maybe those odds are narrowing. Uh, I don't know it zipped gossip. Um, it's Democrats are really motivated. Really organized. Think about $400 million is being spent in Georgia. Uh, A lot of the polls have not been very accurate in recent elections. Who knows? We'll know. Hopefully Tuan, Um sometime Tuesday, United maybe early Wednesday morning. Boy. I hope that's right. People think might take a lot longer than that. It's really such a go ahead. Like the other one the way long time e don't like saying, Okay, Thank you so much as always such a treat to talk with you. That's Ambassador Max Baucus coming up today marks the first business day since United Kingdom left the European Union. We go over what's happened so far, and what we can expect with Matias Metis. He has Council on foreign relations senior fellow That's next on.

Vice President Mike Pence will preside Wednesday over a constitutionally mandated joint congressional session, Congress officially tallied the results of the Electoral College.
