Sen. Ron Johnson Says That Democrats Want to Make It Easy to Cheat in Elections With H.R. 1 Bill
"Senator I haven't seen a more destructive piece of legislation come out of Capitol Hill in a long time. This so effectively squash any voter integrity measures. It will make it super easy to cheat. It will make it really awful. I mean, we talk about faith and elections evaporating overnight. Just how bad is this piece of legislation, and you think it has any chance of passing Well, if you don't want Democrats to be in control forever. Um it's really bad. Um, you know Republicans. We want to make voting easy, but we want to make cheating really hard. It seems like the primary objective Democrats as me. Feeding really easy. I mean, it makes processes the bigger, bigger Carter Commission that point out that apps keep Alice is probably number one point of allowing Friday elections. So you ought to. You ought to be very careful with it limited and certainly put controls over it. What Democrats did under the guise of Covid, the expanded dramatically absentee mail in balloting while they reduced all the controls over it, they didn't let observers observed. So there were so many irregularities in 2020 election that so many people just blown off. I'm glad, you know. States like Arizona and Georgia, Wisconsin are taking a look at what happened, and there's a lot of irregularities that need to be examined. If we're going to restore confidence in our election, Sam this is unsustainable. Where no matter who wins have the country's not going to Recognize the legitimacy of a new president. This is not sustainable. The only way you can practice is by You honestly admitting there were problems and fixing them? Republicans want to fix them. Democrats just want to exacerbate the problem. GOP Senators Claim 'Unequal Justice' in Capitol Riots Compared to Protests
"Justice must be administered equally. Republican senators demand answers for 2020 riots and Capitol Hill riot from Department of Justice. Group of Republican senators sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland demanding answers regarding punishments for those who stormed the capital in January six and those who ride it over the spring and summer 2020. So the daily caller first obtained the letter, in other words, was leaked to them. Which was sent to the Department of Justice by these senators. Ron Johnson, Ted Cruz, Tommy Tucker Field at Tuberville. Excuse me, Mike Lee and Rick Scott. The letter, the group of Republicans Why only five? Let's 123 where all the rest of the Republican senators, every damn one of them should be signing this letter. In the letter, the group of GOP senators draw parallels between the treatment of the capital riders to the treatment of riders throughout the spring and summer 2020 and call for clarifications on punishment. At the spring and summer 2020. There were nonstop protests and riots after the death of George Floyd cities were set on fire in companies in small businesses were looted across the country. Republican senators Asked, among other questions, how many people were arrested for committing crimes during the 2020 spring and summer riots in federal law enforcement used Geo location data. For defendants cell phones to track riders down how many of the rioters were released on bail? The federal law enforcement utilized Geo location data from defended cell phones to track prosecutors associated with the unrest in the spring and summer 2020. If so, how many times and for what locations and riots? How many individuals who may have committed crimes associated with protests in the spring and summer 2020 were arrested by law enforcement using pre dawn raids and SWAT teams. These are damn good questions. But you only have 10% of the Republicans who signed this letter. Where's the other 50? Excuse me 45
Senator Ron Johnson Take On Hunter Biden
"The interview by first acknowledging the incredible work you've done trying to expose the hunter Biden scandal under an onslaught of media attacks them calling you their standard, You know, Conspiracy theorist. All this other nonsense. You had been one of the voices out there saying, Hey, we've got a problem here. We've got the son of the former vice president, now president with some potential business dealings that appear shady at best. So the first question I'd like to pose to you is Joe Biden has consistently said senator on tape that he had no knowledge of what his son was up to in Ukraine, China and Russia. And yet we find out thanks to the reporting of Miranda Divine, which I'll get to later in the show today. It appears Mr Biden was at a dinner with some of these business partners. Hunter Biden had And we just saw that the report in New York Post but you know he's been outright lying. And you said, we've been trying to expose us that's almost as big a story as biting, inking the corruption of the fighting family and all their foreign business entanglements. Is the media suppression of that information, which is, from my standpoint pretty down relevant to the American public. Certainly before the excited choose a president that is gonna have to do and conduct foreign policy with all these nations that have, who knows how much information how much compromise is there? You know these business dealings, so it's an enormous scandal, Dan. It goes way beyond Across from the Biden family and really goes in the correction corruption. The media

They just don't understand the full consequences of of what they're proposing here but for my standpoint to be formed homeland security. My biggest concern is the ability to introduce into our legal system again. We have a hearing on this this week as well and i asked the the witness with everybody hooked up their solar panels than hooking into the grits. That they can pay they can get a few shekels for you know the electric luxury. They're selling into the grid. We become more and more vulnerable. Because there's more points of contact that cyber attackers can can exploit so we really need to rethink the director or heading in here and we need more island grids. We need to have things that are. More module is We have to pay attention to this and quite honestly no administration paints fish attention to the vulnerabilities of our electrical grid. This could be existential from a standpoint of threats that represents well we had the problem with the colonial pipeline. And then a president by shutdown the keystone pipeline. What was gonna take a american oil canadian and united states oil down to the gulf of mexico refined by american workers and salad ribian south america etc and I can't lose that business and nobody can understand it. And then the governor of michigan is trying to shut down line five which is another oil pipeline and delivers twenty five percent of the crude oil to the east coast of america. And what's happened if they try to get away with that of course. Don't know biden's one of his secretaries the jennifer granholm. The former governor of michigan admitted it probably the safest the best way of moving fossil fuel. Is you know drum roll pipelines. And again you cannot make this stuff up john you know the other thing. I'm highly concerned about is is i think we are concocting. A rich which is brew here a policy that could just with stagflation. We're starting to see the pretty dramatic increases inflation A real worker shortage which is gonna drive up wages. Wages aren't like commodities where they go up and down once they go up they stay up and they definitely help fuel long-term inflation but when you've got inflation. Those wage increases are wiped out by the inflation of goods as well and that that's really is the definition of steak flation. We start choking off a economy. There's just just raring to take off right. We have so much pent up demand. We have all this all these increase savings increase in real disposable income. And then you throw more fuel on the fire. With this trillion dollars deficit spending going to spark inflation. We might spark stakes leases. Well and you. And i both look through that seventies. That's not a pretty pretty sight. What else would you like to discuss. We have time for one more central. Well certainly from my standpoint. I cannot wait for the pandemic to be over and i i hope i hope every american is getting a little bit more relaxed. I i think we really are seeing the light in the tunnel and You know i am. I am very happy that i was a big supporter of operation. Warp speed We produce a vaccine record time and we have millions of americans. Tens of millions of americans of been vaccinated. So i think it's time we can start relaxing a little bit but i think we also have to respect those individuals who for whatever reason..
Former President Trump Addresses Surge at Mexican Border

Yes, Capitol Rioters Were Armed. Here Are The Weapons They Used
"Of the people who attacked the U. S Capitol in January six. Syria's of videos on the FBI website shows the mob punching and beating officers. It also shows rioters using what appear to be batons and baseball bats and dousing some police with chemical sprays. Still, some have falsely claimed that the capital riders were not really armed. That day. NPR investigative correspondent Tom Dreisbach reports on why that's just not true. Not long after the Capitol riot, Republican Senator Ron Johnson said this the fact the matter is this didn't seem isn't like an armed insurrection to me. When you hear arm don't stick up firearms, it's become a popular narrative that the capital riot was not really armed. It's also misleading. First, Let's talk about guns. It is true that the only gun fired on January 6th was by law enforcement who killed writer Ashley Babbitt. But the Justice Department has brought gun charges against at least three people connected to the violence of the capital. Those three are not alleged to have breached the building. One of those defendants, Lonnie Kaufman, allegedly parked his truck near the capital filled with what a federal judge called a small armory authorities seizing from Kaufman's truck, multiple firearms, a crossbow. And a cooler containing particularly lethal homemade Molotov cocktails. Prosecutors have also cited evidence from Facebook posts and witness statements that other writers brought guns on the Capitol grounds, too. Capitol Police estimate around 800 people breached the building. But the vast majority were not arrested or searched at the time, so we just don't know exactly how many might have been carrying guns. But the other weapons people were armed with Those were plainly visible from the footage that day. investigators say there were batons, fire extinguishers, baseball bats, clubs, at least one stun gun. As well as pepper spray. Those weapons are often classified as less lethal. But police expert Lorenzo Boyd says they can still be deadly. What we do know is there were a lot of other weapons that could be lethal weapons as applied, officials say more than 100 officers were injured on January 6th entry, suffering gouged eyes, concussions and damage spinal discs. Capitol Police officer Brian Sick. Nick was allegedly sprayed by two writers with an unidentified chemical and died the following day. Authorities still have not identified his exact cause of death. NPR has been tracking every single criminal case related to the capital riots. Now more than 300 of those cases, we've identified nearly 40 that reference, a suspect wielding some sort of weapon. This was a pretty heavily armed crew of people compared to what you usually see it protests that tidy Pyrrhic, co founder of the global project on Hate and extremism. She's followed extremist groups for decades. Even when you see people who are armed it protests and states, for example, where they have open carry laws. They aren't storming into a building using the weapons in the way that we saw at the Capitol. What's clear is that given the weaponry seen on January, 6th things could have been a lot worse but by Rick is concerned that efforts to downplay the violence are less about the fax. About politics. There's a reluctance on the part of some in conservative circles to accept that domestic terrorism is largely coming from right wing extremist groups and to actually confront violent extremism in this country, she says. We have to be clear about just how dangerous it can be. Tom Dreisbach. NPR news
Johnson says comments about Capitol breach were not racist
"Hi Mike Rossi a reporting senator Ron Johnson says his comments about the capital breach were not racist Republican senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin is pushing back on criticism of his comments last week that he wasn't concerned about the pro trump mob at the U. S. capitol on January sixth what would have been if they were black lives matter's protesters there's nothing racial in my time is what so ever speaking to reporters at the capitol Monday Johnson said there were only a few bad apples in the crowd the vast majority of them syncing people over here a lot of law enforcement every thinker I mean they're not right more than three hundred from supporters have been charged in the storming of the capital Mike Rossio Washington

S Capitol in January but would have been worried had they been protesters for black lives matter. The comments drew a lot of criticism from Democrats and others who said Johnson was making racist statements. Republican senator told W S N A. M. There's no racism involved today and said quote it has nothing to do with race. It has everything to do with riots completely did not anticipate that anybody could interpret what I said. As
Senate passes $1.9 trillion COVID relief package
"The big news is the covid relief. Bill in fact i was saying the trade just before we got started. This is saturday morning. We're recording this watching c. span is the amendments. Were kind of going by but as most people. I'm sure no that on thursday. The senate opened debate on president. Biden's one point nine trillion dollar covert relief bill. That was passed last week by the house with no republican support and initially debate was delayed because republican senator ron johnson decided he would not agree to the waving of the reading the bill and so some poor senate clerks had a read all six hundred plus pages of it so yeah but then after. That was the still going on as at this point. The vote a rama. Which for those. Who don't know is a feature of the budget reconciliation process which this measures being passed to avoid a filibuster. And this also allows senators to introduce a stream of amendments that have to be voted on prior to final passage of that underlying legislation. Few of these amendments are are typically passed but it does allow the majority or the minority party to get the majority on record for votes that they hope will be politically damaging to them and putting helpful to their own careers.
Editor-in-chief of the National Journal, Jeff Dufour, Discusses Manchin's Role in Senate Negotiations
"Let's go live now, with an update on Skype to Jeff Do. Four editor in chief of National Journal. Jeff in the plainest language possible. What did mansion get that caused him to change his mind and end this Well in the context of a $1.9 trillion bill. Uh, not much. These air presents pretty small provision that took nine hours. The final deal essentially is $300 per week of federal unemployment assistance through the end of August, the house had wanted 400. Said. It's bringing it down to 300. It was originally supposed to expire at the end of September. Now it's going to expire at the end of August. Essentially now one of mansions things was he wanted Tonto. To exempt the taxi. You want to accept the tax exemptions from this two households making over $150,000 a year so currently, if you get these jobless benefits, you can deduct tow up to 10,000 of that from from your taxes. He said. That shouldn't apply. If you make more than 100 $50,000 a year in your household, and it appears the Senate is going to agree to that now, the votes technically still open, even though they supposedly have a deal. I mean time wise. A lot was made out of Senator Ron Johnson last night, forcing the clerk to read the entire bill, which took hours. But this one vote on one Amendment has now taken longer than that did last night. And this is the first vote in what they billed as a vote A Rama quote unquote to come. So they're in for a lot of overtime in the Senate this weekend, the Senate record as you mentioned for longest vote has been broken again because all of this the previous record was from back in 2019. Is this something like the longest vote a sign of serious dysfunction on the hill? Or is it a sign of something else? I don't know The dysfunction is any greater than it has been in years past, which is still pretty significant, But it's combining that dysfunction with a 50 50 senate. I think I think we know a couple things now going forward Number one. This bill is probably going to go to the house like this weekend. Like you said, we're barring anything else on foreseen. They're gonna sense that the president for his signature, it's gonna give Biden his first big victory as president. But maybe more importantly, we know now that any significant legislation like this is going to be a real slaughter and a real challenge to pass vote Counting is critical. And there's all kinds of procedural hurdles that a senator, One senator can throw in the way in a 50 50 Senate now that applies to three bills at the House passed this past week that high up on their agenda. The voting rights package. The George Floyd policing reform and extending civil rights toe LGBT Q Americans, It's going to apply the unorganized labor bill and and gun legislation that they hope to pass this week. Those five just to name a few are all going to need 60 votes in the Senate. And if I were a betting man, I'd say they're not going to get it for most of them. President Biden, who you could almost jokingly say it's still a senator. He's you know, inextricably linked to the U. S. Senate, he called mansion directly. One wonders whether this deal could have been done without the president's efforts. And some people, I suppose, would be encouraged to see that he's getting involved. Others would say, Man, it's a bad sign that the president has to get directly involved like that. And I would also say this is probably not going to be the last conversation that by the mansion have during this Congress, because, uh, mansion is for people who count these things. Mansion is the most centrist member of the entire Senate. He is the swing vote. In the Democratic caucus, and he's the most important vote in the Senate right now, and he knows it. He's gonna exact every bit of power he can out of this toe, get what he wants for his state and for his And just for his for his views to make sure that whatever passes the Senate reflects his
Stimulus plan stalls as senators debate unemployment aid
"Leaders and moderate Democratic Senator Joe mention of West Virginia have struck a deal over emergency jobless benefits, breaking a nine hour logjam. It installed the party's showpiece $1.9 trillion covert really fill. The compromise, announced by the West Virginia lawmaker and a Democratic aide seems to clear the way for the Senate to begin a climactic marathon. Syriza votes expected to lead to approval of the sweeping legislation. Democrats had already set aside one battle over boosting the minimum wage mansion is probably the chamber's most conservative Democrat and the king maker in a 50 50 Senate. That leaves his party without a vote to spare. Chris Lee reports the Senate is in what's being called a voter rama over the $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief bill where Syria's of amendments are voted on back to back. This comes after Wisconsin Republican Senator Ron Johnson forced to nearly 11 hour holed up on the bill. Forcing Senate clerks to read the massive 628 page legislative package out loud. Senate Budget Committee chair Bernie Sanders open the debate by introducing an amendment to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour. That provision was included in the House's version of the bill, but it was thrown out last week by the Senate parliamentarian who ruled it was not permissible under budget reconciliation, Sanders says that process is wrong. It is an absurd process. That we allow an UN elected staff of somebody who works for the Senate, not elected by anybody. To make a decision as to whether 30 million Americans get a pay raise or not. I don't care how the parliamentarian rules. No parliamentarian should have that power. People here want to vote against raising them in ways you have that right? Want to vote for it? And I hope you do you have that right, But we should not shuffle off that responsibility. Toe What UN elected staff. That's wrong. Senators voted to reject Sanders proposal 58 to 42 8, Democratic senators Kirsten cinema of Arizona. Jon Tester of Montana, Jan Shaheen and Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire, Chris Coons and Tom Carper of Delaware. Angus King of Maine and Joe Manchin of Virginia voted No. The Senate has since been stalled for several hours. In a debate on the extension of federal unemployment benefits. Democratic senators have a slim margin to get the bill approved. And if just a single Democrat votes against the bill, it could jeopardize the entire
Coronavirus relief bill could pass Senate by this weekend
"A vote a Rama on multiple amendments, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said. It's going to take a lot of votes. We're going to power through and finish this bill, however long it takes starting on Thursday, Senate clerk spent more than 10 hours reading aloud the full 628 page bill after a request from Republican Senator Ron Johnson and what many have called a delay tactic. Republicans are expected to offer many amendments during this vote a Rama, which may go into the weekend. Katherine Folders, ABC News and in Maine today, some big news when it comes to covert
Senate moving forward with COVID-19 relief bill after marathon reading delayed measure
"Toward a voting marathon on the Democrats Covert 19 relief bill that is expected to end with the approval of the measure. Moments after the Senate took up the legislation. Yesterday, Wisconsin Republican Senator Ron Johnson forced the chambers clerks to read aloud the entire 628 page measure. It took 10 hours and 44 minutes and ended shortly after 2 A.m. Today. The Senate plans to begin voting around the middle of today on a mountain of amendments. The deaths of
Ron Johnson Makes Senate Read 600-Page COVID Relief Bill Aloud
"Got to this morning's official debate on the coronavirus relief bill in the Senate Republican Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, decided to make a show of his opposition to the bill by having the Senate clerks read out loud the entire 628 page thing. New York Times notes as a point of reference that the sixth Harry Potter book clocked in at 652 pages, and many of you know how thick that was, By the way, that was Harry Potter and the half Blood Prince. In case you were wondering Imagine reading the whole half blood Prince allowed without a break. The relief bill took 10 hours and 44 minutes at about the same length. Here's 44 seconds of what that was like. Kamala Harris breaks Senate tie to begin COVID-19 relief package debate
"Radio Senate formally moving ahead with the debate on the sweeping stimulus bill, but it was a close one. Michael Morning required a tiebreaker vote yet to have the vice president Kamila Harris, come in, just to get this thing underway to begin the process of debate there in the Senate, so she had to come in breaking 50 50 tired events The bill now the Senate is engaged in what I'll call a marathon effort. To take up President Biden's $1.9 Trillion pandemic relief bill expected to go through the weekend pretty easily here, a zoo chamber is is hearing the debate by hearing debate. I mean, they haven't even gotten to the debate part yet. I mean that they have spent the last 12 hours because Senator Ron Johnson pushed for all 628 pages of the legislation to be read out loud. On the grounds that there should be transparency and what's in it. Now it's not. Every senator has the right on either side of the aisle to make that request and to have things read out. As far as legislation goes, it just doesn't happen very often. And when it does, it's looked at largely as a delay tactic again. In this case, 628 pages of legislation buys I understood it took about 12 hours. It started around 3 20 yesterday afternoon and listen, it wasn't like every member of the Senate was glued to their seats to take notes on how this was all going to go down. In fact, as soon as the reading began, you saw Kamila Harris had to call for an order in the Senate because people were just hopping walking around, leaving. That's just the way this is. It's It's meant to be a delay tactic. But what is clear here is that they finished up that reading portion. It is about to begin the 20 hour debate session Now, that was just a time killer to get to the 20 hour debate session here, Tony, which is going to take place and this is where lawmakers are gonna have 20 hours under the reconciliation rules. To make the argument for what they have seen or heard in this Billa's far as the debate goes, then you're going to have the amendment voting session called Vote a Rama that usually will be about the serious of issues within that piece of legislation, but it could include, um any sort of vote on a contentious subject just literally back to back to back to back votes. That will last probably into the wee hours of the morning. And then when that's done, you have the final vote on this piece of legislation. And if it is approved in the Senate that will get sent back to the house, where the House will have to approve it, And then it could be sent to President Biden's desk for his signature. Well, you know, as well as I do that in this becomes partisan. That all bills are this bill the highway bill or it's the Cove in 19 Bill, or it's the stimulus package recovered 19 bill, but it does have a lot of other things in there. That to me personally Forget Democrat Republican. It's just frustrating that you can't get clean bills straight out just to help the American people with all the things we're gonna be tight. And so I understand. You know Ron Johnson and I'm not a big fan, but I'd like to find out more than lieutenant, I, You know, I don't people understood how bills get passed until Nancy Plus said. We've got to pass the bill, see what's in it, And that was kind of oi opening for a lot of Americans because you know they don't. They don't know the procedures a lot of time, and I think that that's part of the key to this is first of all available online. The bill's piece of legislation itself is they're all senators had a hard copy of it. So the reading it out loud was just moved to this sort of the late actor here, but the end of the day you're right. And with that there have been a lot of changes made they Hold out this massive amount of money to Nancy Pelosi was looking to get for transit system in San Francisco. This bridge to be built between New York and Canada, has been pulled out of the bill. The minimum wage portion of $15 an hour has been pulled out of the bill and also for moderate Democrats who were concerned about this. There's a streamlining here of who's going to get stimulus payments. Now, anybody earning $75,000 or less will still get their $1400 payment. But now there's a phase out faster that goes between 75,000 and $80,000 a year. So if you made $80,000 a year or couples making $1,660,000 a year. You're no longer qualifying for any stimulus, and that will affect around 11.8
Republican Sen. Ron Johnson forces Senate to read all 628 pages of Biden's COVID bill aloud
"Republican senator. Ron johnson of wisconsin is making good on his promise to slow down that relief. Getting americans by whatever ridiculous means necessary. Don't wanna but i'm going to resist. Okay so the first way. I'm gonna resistant. I'm going to go down and object to the waving of the reading of the bill. I will make them read their six hundred seven hundred page bill. Good for you senator. That's right in the midst of a pandemic killed five hundred and twenty thousand americans thousands every day every day just numb to it now but every day it continues and it's millions out of work. Ron johnson wants to delay help getting out the american by forcing the senate clerics to read allow also allowed all seven hundred twenty eight pages the bill. They have been at it for nearly five hours already. They're expected to go into the wee hours of the morning. Remember the last time that we had a democratic president office. Remember that mitch. Mcconnell said the single most important thing we want to achieve is for president obama to be a one term president the overriding impulsive determined republicans behavior throughout the obama administration. And we're almost surely in for another round of that.
Senate votes to start debate on COVID-19 relief bill
"Hill, the Senate voting to proceed with the nearly $2 Trillion covert relief bill. In a move to delay the process, Republican Senator Ron Johnson, insisting the entire bill be read out loud on the Senate floor. After that debate on the bill starts, here's a B C's Karen Travers with more on what's in the legislation. Woz include things such as actions by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, which under minded that controls inherent in act 77. 2019 Controls, which were undermined it included on September 17th, 2000 and 20. On a petition from the secretary of the Commonwealth will that mail in ballots need not authenticate signature for the mail in ballots there by treating in person and mail in voters to similarly Eliminating critical safeguard against potential election fraud. It's one of the main reasons for believing that it's difficult to believe that the mail in voting process can be relied upon. What I would call this strategic off with the operational level. There were significant that is state representative Frank Ryan, who is testifying about Pennsylvania. We do have to take a break. Ladies and gentlemen, Unfortunately, the constraints of time are forever conspiring against me, and we have just got so much stuff to get to Covert Grinches again trying to steal Christmas. A Joe Biden update This one's a lot of fun. Also the forgotten history of our favorite Christmas carols, favorite Christmas traditions that I mentioned the unhinged liberal of the.

"Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson is chairing a committee hearing into vote fraud and irregularities in the elections across the country last month and right now testifying Is James. True Piss a regular guest on the Vicki McKenna Shell former judge and President Trump's lead attorney who filed what I thought was a very well argued lawsuit in Wisconsin. He is testifying. Now let's dip in just for a little and listening to what he's saying We were the 1000 volunteers for the fighting campaign as well. Uniquely. We are able to examine actual envelopes that contain the ballots that are submitted by absentee voters. This allowed us to identify by person. By address by Ward. It's not conspiracy. The real names are in the record, and here's what we found. We found that there were incomplete and altered certificates. These are the certificates on the front of the envelopes. That have to be exactly done correctly under our law. If not, those results may not be counted. How many of those more than 3000 of those identified By person were nonetheless counted, even though they are clearly invalid under the law. Second category. Initials of Clerks are placed on all of those envelopes. Why? Because the clerk identifies it have having been properly received and identification is provided. That's the check in advance of the election. What did we find more than 2000 off those ballots in Dane and Milwaukee County had no initials at all. Nonetheless, they got count. We also have special laws in Wisconsin with regard to voting in advance. We do not allow advance voting we allow in person and and other voting as absentee, so anything before Election Day is under our absentee rules. What did the city of Madison do? They created a system where people could arrive at a park. Hand in their ballots in envelopes. Five weeks before the election. They also created boxes. No controls it all just boxes on corners that you could throw the balloted. No attempt at all, and our statutes explicitly say they're only two ways to submit an absentee ballot. In person. Or delivery to the clerk's office. That's it. Nothing else is loud. And yet the city of Madison we had 28,395 I'm sorry, 17,271 ballots in this category that we identified. There are tens of thousands more because they co mingled the ballots afterwards, so we couldn't identify. Each one that may have been properly cast. Then we have an interesting category called Indefinitely confined these air people, which the statue to read from the statute by age, physical illness or infirmity or aren't disabled indefinitely. Among those claiming this status so they don't have to provide any identification. Among those claiming this status is one of the electors for Joe Biden. He's dead who said I can't get to the polls. We have poll workers who claimed it. We have people who went to protest people who had weddings. People who had vacations all claimed this status. I can't get to the polls. So they were able to vote without identification. There were 28,395 people we explicitly identified. Finally, there are other categories which as much as 170,000 other ballots were submitted without Any application. In fact, they considered that certification enveloped the application. Those separate application is required by law. Three million people properly voted in the state of Wisconsin. More than 200,000, identified during this recount did not, but those fools got counted and our statute says they should not have been. That, in our view is is a taint. On our election in Wisconsin. Thank you. That is Jim. True Piss. He is President Trump's attorney and served as the lead attorney in Wisconsin, actually referencing our exclusive report here on the Dan O'Donnell show that state Senator Patty shocked nerve falsely claimed indefinite confinement and yet cast in electoral vote for Joe Biden Anyway. Turns out there are two Joe Biden. Elector is the reason I didn't notice stubs right away. I of course, searched for every one of them. I don't know if I'm slightly dyslexic or what? But her name she Leah Stubbs s h i e l A I mistakenly read is Sheila Stubbs. I did a search for Sheila Stubbs didn't find it. I redid the search realizing today Holy cow, I misspelled her name..

"Glad to have with us now. Sitting United States Senator Ron Johnson is the chairman of the United States Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. He spent some time this year looking in to the Biden family and its entanglements with foreign governments. And we wanted to chat with him about that this morning, Senator Johnson, thank you for joining us. Good morning and Merry Christmas. Happy Hanukkah. Same to you and boy isn't an interesting that all of a sudden now that the election is over the media is showing some interest, at least a little in the fact that Hunter Biden has now admitted himself that he is under federal Investigation. What was your reaction to seeing the complete he'll turn by the press this week. Well, I would call it going. No, it wasn't. I've endured vilification. We've had senior Democrats, including my own right. Remember on my committee first all developed it completely false intelligence products, accusing both myself and Charles Grassley. Accepting and descending Russian disinformation is related to this hype. Hunter Biden Probe Yeah, I challenge anybody to look at our initial 87 page report and show us what is a scintilla of anything that even considered Russian disinformation. But we lived through that report. I think September 2030 is the day after How did the the computer repair shop owner came? Whistleblower contacted our our committee. We start verifying things. But then I grew impatient. Want Rudy Giuliani, New York Post broke that story, which was then censored. I saw it from the year 20 by Molinski read our report and realized that the Bidens you know, basically sassing them consent 10 or $5 million.200 directly with that should have gone into that joint joint venture, So I report really kind of broke this thing open. But it was completely ignored by the news media. What what the reports were written. Just denigrated it again. Continue refer to it is Russian disinformation or found nothing illegal here against not my job to prove the legalities provide information, and the information we showed in that report is troubling. Actually kind of the most troubling of all is the connections into China. You're one Cos CFC in 2013. It reported $33 billion of income, and it just went poof. Together with the disappearance of his chairman that had ties to the common point of the Chinese Communist Party, as well as the People's Liberation Army. This is a business. These are the people that Hunter Biden and the buying family were doing business with in China and the Joe Biden corn. Tony Bob Belinsky was fully aware of So again, the fact that news me ignored it now, all of a sudden after the election. By the way, the Poland is coming out here to there. Multiple polls that show had Biden supporters known this and they didn't know it. Joe Biden would not have gotten the number of votes you got, and Donald Trump would have easily easily on unverifiable and verifiably won the elections. It's just incredibly going And Senator Johnson. You talk about what the media has done and ignoring the story up until now, But it's also the fact that there's been an investigation going on since 2018. What do you make of the claims that the reason why this investigation wasn't reported on wasn't announced was because there was an election going on, and they didn't want to subvert. The presidential process and the presidential election. Have we ever seen that happen towards not a presidential contender but actually a family member of a presidential contender? Have a great deal. Suspicion what's happening inside in the bowels of the FBI and the Department of Justice? Yeah, our investigations started with new equipped email scandal and we're the ones that uncovered the Editing of the exoneration email of Hillary Clinton. And so I've seen that investigation that wasn't designed to uncover the truth and lead to prosecution conviction was that investigation was designed to cover up the truth. And lead to the exoneration. That's just a very sad fact. So I'm highly concerned the FBI Department justice in this case being back to at least 2013 when they convicted Devon Archer. Of the tribal bond fraud scheme. Remember back then we have e mails now, with Devon talking to his co conspirators there. So you know, we really got involved. 100 this week, Little honey in his pocket. I don't know what's that Hunter was involved in that Indian bond bond fraud, But I know he wasn't part of that case. But, you know, the FBI has been aware of these financial transactions that we revealed. Or, you know, environment. Justice is also the Treasury Department's been aware of these financial transactions revealed in our report, since at least 2018, and nothing has happened, and now we know that they obtain that. Computer from the computer repair shop order in December, 2019 right before impeachment. That would have been some pretty important information as a zoo relates to Impeachment of United States president one of it and they sat on it. They were silent about it. So I've got a real I've got a real problem in a real suspicion about unequal justice and bias within these agencies. Mentioned Tony Bob Belinsky, the Biden family business partner earlier in this conversation, and one of the things that he alleges that Joe Biden did know a great deal actually about the business operations of the Biden family, and in fact, had met with Tony Bob Belinsky in a sort of vetting process to establish whether or not he'd be a good fit to work with the Bible family as you're related to their business interests in China, and that leads me to this question. Are we convinced we know for a fact? If the feds were not looking at Joe Biden at all because Senator Ron Johnson, I keep seeing this news coverage that says that Joe Biden is not implicated in any of this, but that seems a little strange to me. Given that explicitly In all of these cases, the Biden family is trading on their access. To Joe Biden in order to enrich themselves..

"However, if the action is being taken by governors of neighboring states in the last 24 hours or any indication, it is very likely Governor Evers will attempt to advance Some form of restrictions. If Eva's follows the law and the court rulings, he has very few restrictions he could do on his own without utilizing the state administrative rules process to issue an emergency rule that he would be subject to legislative oversight. And potential suspension of all or parts of it by the Joint Committee for the Review of Administrative Rules, He could attempt to issue some restrictions under his emergency declaration powers in chapter 3 to 3. But the issue of repeated emergency declarations will soon be addressed by the state, meaning the legislature. And the state Supreme Court November 16th oral arguments. Also again, the Legislature has the power to end any emergency declaration by joint resolution. One power D H s still holds that has not been challenged in court is the power to close schools. "Hey, welcome back to the program. All right. Senator Ron Johnson is on the phone with me right now. You're probably sick of hearing the senator first. Welcome to the show. I hope you're not sick of hearing that. Appreciate that. I'm something that I'm looking to doctors. Lincoln was a wonderful person. Yeah, He's a wonderful person, and she needs people's prayers. And he has been out there, sometimes alone. But now being joined by the likes of people like Yale's Dr Harvey Rishi was on this program. Just about a month and a half ago. You know, trying to get people access to information that can keep them out of the hospital. If you could be kept out of the hospital from Cove in 19 Good chance. It's going to save your life. So here's the question. I'm sure you're sick of hearing. How are you? I'm fine. I've never felt like I've never had any symptoms whatsoever. Just got back from Doctor appointment. Clear, lungs, normal blood work. They did do another test That was done that in this is a little bit longer. You know what they say, is probably more finished more accurate, testable it, we'll see. All right. I have never thanked him. And that was that was many things. All right. You're fine. You don't have symptoms. You're asymptomatic. You may Who knows You may have a false positive test. You may not, You just may be a symptomatic entirely on DSO. The idea that somehow you are, you know, walking Super spreader something like this. Of course, I saw some of the smears and the slander that were being published about you is absolutely outrageous and offensive And, frankly, you know, I mean, if you actually Bothered illegal, But so you're you're not spreading the virus. You're not out hanging out guzzling beers at an October fest or anything like that Correct. Yes, he posted literally a quarter from five years ago. Civilians. October said This is after he tested positive under wonder how many hands I said no hands, so I had. This was my fifth. The constant ery test. I've been an airforce wanted. You have been in the Oval Office. This was literally because we just heard the president deposit. Mike lied, tested positive. I'm gonna have to go back to Washington, D. C. I had not to you to quit running and get a test as a precaution before I head back to D. C. I was surprised anybody that I tested positive. I was not here. I've had five of these for them previously. It have always come back negative again. I've got no symptoms, so I had no expectations whatsoever that they might drive back from the event. I got called and said it was Again. I'm exhibiting symptoms I think and I don't know. I hope I don't Okay. I possibly couldn't test could come very early. My exposure and maybe out flying Good. Um, but I think we're president from tweeted. Don't be afraid. I think, respect Cove and no doubt about it. Nobody wants to get it. I don't want to see anybody get it, but People will and I think we have to put it on perspective. But according to CDC, 40% of people who test positive are asymptomatic. No, I think a lot of them are like my chief of staff, His brothers and his nephews. They were they had mild symptoms for a couple days and how they fully recovered. It's not. It is not a death sentence, and that's the problem with the news coverage. Yes. You get a Kobe. Pass it. You're a dead person. You're not. I mean, obviously, people tragically die from it quickly. Those air older, particularly those that called morbidity. And there's some lingering problems of this strange disease attacks. Multiple organs kind of depending on your physiology is but again the majority. The vast majority people are asymptomatic. Or probably have mild symptoms and fully recovered. And it is a small percent that really have trouble and even smaller percent that end up tragically dying from. I'm not downplaying this. I didn't want to get it. I hope I hope I don't have a blast with symptoms. No, but but I think you have. We have to keep living our lives. That's what ideas but I did it as cautiously as I possibly could. All right, and one more time that picture that's that's that's around out there that smearing you was from 2015. 2015 has a five year old picture that just goes to show you how sleazy the left is. That is how sleazy they will be. The president is being released. We're getting reports of the president's being released from from Walter Reed today. You know, the president seems to be describing mild symptoms. Melania's describing mild symptoms, Mike Lee says it feels like I have seasonal allergies. I would call that mild symptoms. I believe somebody else in the Senate judiciary also tested positive for it again, reporting mild symptoms. So you know, people are getting mild symptoms here. But already because the press wants to create the impression that we need to go back down on lock down that you know that we need to shut down our economy and deliver ourselves willingly into the hands of a totalitarian state run by woke social justice warriors who want to burn down cities and kill cops. Really? That's what they want us to dio. You have got the press saying We can't confirm any Cockney Barrett. You've got the press saying, you know, the president can't Can't goto work? The president shouldn't be anywhere near his workload on this, So I mean, this is what this is how people are talking in the left wing news media. Everything's gotta shut down and let's just hand the election over Tio Joe Biden, by the way, who should be elected by a fraudulent mail in balloting procedure state to state It is good press and the Democrats had criticized There isn't anybody in the U. S was spot. It might have been cooked up in trying. Okay, but in the U. S always tried to do is mitigated. I think this ministry has got a free down Good God. We ran out of ventilator. He ran out of tpp, even though demand outstrips supply by 2 to 3 times, But it is the Democrats in and the press that want to weaponize this politically. As a result, you don't have to be CNFI. Really exploring early intervention treatments. You're like Hydra spoken. Just dismissed. He was demonised as police eyes and so they don't have. The FDA has got pushed. The CDC has got pushed studies on Hydra Spork wouldn't sink and is that my son or other remedies? They just have the approval and death severe and doctors said cost 200 bucks. You have to have it done in a hospital. So because that politicization and again I think where it's really awful is we have this hysteria. Again. I respect this. I'm not downplaying it. But we created hysteria. That is way out of proportion to the real risk. If you're 20 or under CDC, just come out. We 99.97% People under 20. For the whole populations. Pride about 99.5 elderly. Now, if you're over 65 70, you have a higher percentage of complications and death. There's no doubt about that's why you should concentrate. Unlike What Andrew Cuomo did. He didn't protect the vulnerable the nursing homes. He forced you to take.

"It's Senator Ron Johnson, Republican, the Great state of Wisconsin, which is interesting because I did not know that he was turned it down the first time. And as you say, you've got to take politics out of it, Man. This isn't this isn't about helping or hurting what happens in November. This is about bringing calm and peace to the good people of Kenosha. The people who are ignored for a couple of days run. I gotta ask you about the actual incident. You mentioned a small piece of tapes and now LeBron James and all the N B, A and Doc Rivers and and Pete Carroll over in the NFL and NFL players are wearing this guy's named Jacob Blake under on their helmets, as if he's some sort of a saint. What we know about that case is and this is I publicized that this is out there from from the attorney general in the state of the Department of Justice is investigating. We know the guy had outstanding felony warrants. We know that he's accused of raping and what he allegedly did is disgusting with his ex girlfriend he's accused of trying to steal her car that day. He So we know now because there's longer video that we've all seen. He's fighting with police on the ground has one cop in a headlock has a deadly weapon, a knife that he admits to having before he ends up getting shot when the cop doesn't know what he's reaching, for. Those are the facts of the case. As far as he's being accused, as is being alleged. What we're being told by the media by the left by the Biden campaign and elsewhere is that this guy was an innocent guy walking to his car got shot seven times in the back. So how do we balance that? When half of the country and I would say it's half believed the first story. The other half has the facts what we do Iran because nobody is listening to the actual facts. They just want to say Police are bad. Well, I hate to say this, but you have to have patience for the justice system to actually work these things out and determine what what is the actual truth? But that's why you can't leap to conclusions that you have to figure that the first report is almost always going to be incomplete and oftentimes very inaccurate. So don't leave to conclusions. Don't Was your first reaction, engage in violence, and unfortunately we have so many people throughout this country and I personally think is a loosely if not Tightknit organized effort. We really don't know yet, but because we haven't really figured out the structure of this thing, but it sure seems like there's an organized and coordinated effort. You take advantage of anything that looks bad and blow it up into huge protests, which end up being riots, which just create all kinds of division and destruction. This country there's there's a movement to do that. It's awful for this nation. We do need a unifying force. We need to recognize that we all share the same goal. We want to save Prosper, secure City, state and country And if we focus on those shared goals and purposes, we'd be in a whole lot better shape than as opposed to The resistance movement, not respecting you, Lex trying to sabotage administration and literally protesting and riding from almost day one of this administration. That's not the way to progress. So now you got the left, accusing President Trump of inciting violence when that's what they've been doing, basically for the last 3.5 years. Well, it's the same thing as Antifa calling itself anti fascist when they in fact, are the fascist. This is what the letters done. Historically, they believe in eugenics, and they started playing parenthood. They believe in abortion. They they were for segregation. Jim Crow that was all left his Democrats stuff They've been claiming the right for it for a long time. Hopefully people has won t see that that's not true. But when it comes down to stopping what's going on, give you an example. Neapolis. Bad guy allegedly murders Somebody. Police are closing in on him. He shoots and kills himself. It's on video. Ron. I sell. I saw him shooting Kill himself. Word on the street is cops killed another black man. Let's go Loot the target store in Portland. The mayor who thinks he's on their side is his townhouse is being surrounded by bad guys that are insisting he resign and not letting anybody sleep in this residential area. The president offers to go in and help this idiot Wheeler decides. I don't want your help. You're the cause. Of this surround knowing those things and how illogical there and how irrational they are as a senator. What more can you do as the president? What could he do as a society in those neighborhoods? What can we do? Because this is this is untenable. We can't keep living like this where you might have a mob storm a target store because an alleged killer killed himself. You use your ability to communicate people on shows like this and try and tell that you like people notice what I know. But this one, I don't know, And that's what we're gonna have to wait to find out. Really what The situation is, but do not leap to conclusions and certainly don't engage in these acts of violence and a Zai point out protests. Yes, it's a first Amendment protected right, but Of the six carry on in the same area for days and weeks and longer in Portland and being a seizure. You're basically holding a city and its citizens hostage and you are denying their constitutional right to engage in business, Tio be ableto work to provide a living for themselves in our family. That also have to be taking a look at as well, protecting people's right to peacefully assemble and protest. But again, it's all about trying to convey to the American public. This was what is actually going on because the mainstream media Is fully in the camp. There part approached the Democratic Party of the hard radical left, and they're not telling the truth. They're not giving people the full story there continue to engage in false narratives. Whether it's Trump campaign inclusion with Russia Vicious poster in the post office. I mean name false narrative after false dare to push by the press because they hate Trump they want do everything they can to get rid of Emma's well, a last quick one. Ron and I appreciate the time of the access. Do you think it's time to take another look at the Insurrection Act for Portland? Doesn't somebody have to go and bring Santa sanity and peace? Oh, and calm to to the residents there. They don't want this. It's been over three months that that that that city has been under siege. I think the citizens of Portland, Oregon have got to get together and raise her log voice and then I think well, I believe in federalism and this law enforcement's based to a state and local Functions. And as long as those citizens are tolerated long they're not demanding change. I hate sending in federal, federal first down stuff unless they're actually asked by the citizens, but you can't really rely on the elect officials here, but the citizens have to make their voices known and loudly known. Yeah, I hear you. I agree, And it's a tough situation. It is Senator Ron Johnson, Great State of Wisconsin. Thanks a million Ron. Let's talk again soon, okay? Have a great day. Take care. "Bob Maclay are there is on this new station KTAR news. now continuing coverage of president from C. impeachment inquiry with bruising James and Pamela Hughes. Monica was read for Pamela today and yesterday we have a man with some errors on it. testify in front of the house intelligence committee but this was this was a behind closed doors so it's okay that you you you didn't get it special US envoy to Ukraine can't Kerr Volker testified for some ten hours. could you imagine no being in the hot seat for ten hours I mean at least wasn't in public where you had all the camera right face arm in in it he provided apparently to the house intelligence committee some text messages that he was involved in. messages seem to show the state department officials debating whether trump was withholding nearly four hundred million dollars in military aid to pressure Ukraine for trump's own political benefit the top American diplomat in Ukraine bill Taylor writing I think it's crazy to withhold security assistance for help with a political campaign someone who responds I believe you are incorrect about president trump's intentions the president has been crystal clear no quid pro quos of any kind. so there's a lot of names are gonna be thrown around and god only knows we're gonna be able to figure them all out and to hell have weird teams to but I'm. the US ambassador to the European Union by the way that's the thing. I do not know that was a thing. apparently told. Republican senator Ron Johnson. the same thing. that US military aid to Ukraine was tied. to trump's desire have you cream launch a probe to quote get to the bottom of what happened in two thousand sixteen. now the reason Ron Johnson hears about it is he wants Ukraine to have this aid he wants them to shoot at Russian tanks. because that's what the Ukraine was asking for were these javelin missiles anti tank weapons because Russian tanks are still by the way occupying a large portion of Ukraine after they invaded the illegal it's an act of war arm. we don't think about it because again we can't find you can on a map. but it seems to lend some credibility to at least amongst the diplomatic corps at least amongst those in the state department they're having a debate about whether what happened on that phone call or prior to or after it as well so the characters are calling characters right now that are on this Texas tech stream basically are going back and forth about what's going to happen with the money and setting up a meeting with the Ukrainian president transitions what has to happen to set the meeting up and has trump heard about it and if they use words like deliverable and things like that so at one point one of them actually tells the other to get off the tax we need to talk about this either in person or on the phone but stop texting because now you're getting it all in writing now were the beneficiaries of all of these text messages in writing talking about this nonexistent quid pro quo and just because you say it's not a quid pro quo does not mean that it's not a quid pro quo it is funny how people think as soon as you write it down that it's okay like that yeah you literally literally texted the last text in the string is I suggest we stop the back and forth by text well that you know which makes sense a person's a smart person but probably a lawyer right you said something earlier Brisa put this more in perspective over me is that we're talking about a four hundred million dollar aid package yes and you already mentioned that it was too hot of a Ukrainian yeah against the Russians yeah the other part was that Congress has already approved it and the Pentagon everything of that because I style was maybe that the president has some ability here to do some negotiating and maybe this investigation has more to do with our government than just Biden in a political ally or enemy and you said no it's already proved he doesn't have the power and authority to do that often necessarily without going to Congress there's that where president trump is trying to mess with something that he has no power. our over at all and so therefore he couldn't commit a crime because he couldn't do it anyway maybe that's an illegal or a legal impossibility as well I call it that there's no crying because he couldn't do it anyway I'm number two when you mention that about that the missiles against Russia they made me think well wait a minute is from trying to protect Russia trying to protect his friend well I mean I can I can tell you who doesn't want javelin missiles in the hands of Ukraine military Vladimir Putin. doesn't want US technology used to blow up. Russian tanks I can get doesn't want it at all. I have no idea if that's part of this is well. but you can see where as you start to unravel this and you start to peel the onion read the tax read but text messaging old nothing good happens on text is that really a seriously after midnight and on text that in the text messages again there is a disagreement amongst. the one who's defending trump is the one who was appointed by trump used to run trump hotels are here is he's the one saying no trump would never do this the others are saying.

"Eight forty these video Chiemsee thank you for listening. As always wherever you find this over the air online podcasts. Appreciate you tuning in president's state of the union speech. Tonight's much anticipated delayed because of course, the shutdown and the big question. A lot of people are asking will he mentioned declaration at some point of national emergency for the for the southern border with Mexico. All indications are he won't do that. Although I wouldn't be surprised if he somehow wedge it in if he decides to go off the cuff, which is typically not something that at this at this kind of event that you that he would do. So I mentioned what I think the president should do here and these should make a good faith offer. If you want the wall or some version of that steel structures, more technology, manpower, whatever you have to offer something because you don't control both houses. Speaker Pelosi has power as we found out. So whether that's amnesty, which has been a dirty word when it comes to immigration reform, and and illegals or infrastructure. You have to give to get. So whether it's Nancy Pelosi speaker, Nancy Pelosi or Senator Chuck Schumer. They aren't going to give anything unless you give up something. So you know, he can reestablish why he thinks border security is important. Much of the conversation has been tilted towards democratic talking point that there is no mass migration or invasion as the president used that word at one point. But clearly, there's something's changed their more. Families are being intercepted at the border as of late. Although the the overall numbers historically are down. That's probably because we have made some efforts to secure the border and the number of people who are been traveling from South America through Mexico to get to the border that number is also increasing with some of these migrant caravans approaching five thousand or more people moving through the country of Mexico, and frankly, Mexico has not been that helpful. We had the whole separation family separation issue where I've said over and over again, the president and his staff dropped the ball on this because they weren't ready to deal with the situation that policy caused that caused a lot of heartburn and still does. And looking at it from public perception overwhelmingly you can throw the politics out the public do not perceive that in a positive manner. So that's the reality of the of the speech, the president has to give tonight he has to look at this as an opportunity. So when he turns around to speaker Nancy Pelosi he can offer a solution. To some extent he can say to his base, which has been very strongly supportive of a wall as the answer to all of our problems when it comes to immigration and the legal immigration. That's not the only solution when I had Senator Ron Johnson in studio or many of the congress people that I've had on this show. They've all said we have to find a solution to this. And the solution. The realistic solution is you have to give to gets. And that's where the president has to go. It's not gonna make all of his supporters happy, certainly because I know there's a lot of folks that voted for president Donald J Trump who don't want to give on this issue. But it's not a give if you get something, and that is funding for whatever wall or berry you come up with. He should also make it clear. He's not looking for two thousand plus miles of whatever this is steel concrete, fencing, whatever. It's a separation in the right places, respecting the rights of the landowners, respecting the rights of the states and their leadership their governors. There lawmakers this is a difficult thing. But where this president can win is by not kicking the can down the road. That's where he can make a real statement tonight. Will he do it who knows every public speeches? The president makes is almost always a crap shoot. You can get some good. You get some bad. He can get himself in trouble by going off speech being extemporaneous and just saying things that pop out of his heads if hopefully and I've seen it demonstrated in previous speeches. He won't do that Mitch from sturgeon bay on the accurate mortgage, talk and text line. The Democrats don't want word changes are compromises because they feel empowered. They want concessions interesting choice of words. Whether you're on one side or the other politically speaking. Concession or compromise? If it gets you to what you wanna do the given get doesn't accomplish your goals, if you can get some sort of a barrier on on some of these miles. Is it worth not settling issues like Dhaka dreamers? Are generally immigration policies. So that they make sense the one of the things I've noted over and over again is some of the things this president has suggested actually modeled after some things Canada does currently when it comes to immigration. A system that actually takes the people that want to come into cannon says how can you help us be a better country? And I think that's the way you should approach. This now Canada's doesn't get beat up because their leader is not ridiculed. Like, this leader is often. I think my opinion unfairly four one four seven nine nine one six twenty president has a big speech. Tonight's in congress. Supreme court's lawmakers and more importantly the country. It is sponsored by century foods. All right as we've been telling you for the last half hour. The reports are that there has been an agreement reached between congress and the White House, which will temporarily reopen the government who we don't know the details of it the length of it the numbers I'm seeing is that the government's going to reopen for three weeks. I don't know if the agreement includes funding for. Any money that's going to be put up at advanced towards the border wall. Don't know any of that we expect that the president will be making announcement sometime in the very near future. Hopefully, it's going to be the next couple of minutes. This is one of those times. I really don't wanna launch it to another topic complete topic. And then have interrupted by the statement. But this, of course, a very big deal. There is a story that. It's been out there USA today. Had it the journal sentinel is running with this as well. First reported by the Washington Post involving Senator Ron Johnson. And I know Senator Johnson's been on this program and number of times, and I know Senator Johnson going back to when I ran for office. And I sometimes I try to think about what my private conversations with him have been versus what he said in public. I I will tell you this. And I'm sure I feel comfortable saying this Senator Johnson has been he's a guy who went to Washington to try to get things done, and he has been very very, I think frustrated by some of the just the kind of the political gamesmanship that's going on over the years, and you know, dealing with all sorts of different things. And I know I know that Senator Johnson's been particularly frustrated by this this government shutdown because as a business person himself before he ran for office. He understands how important it is to get. Things done. So here's the story. Apparently, this is according to the Washington Post. There was a closed door lunch meeting with the Republican senators on on Thursday, and you had Mitch McConnell who is the leader of the Republican Senate, and apparently a number of the senators were venting their frustrations because they're hearing from their constituents now, I understand maybe this federal shutdown isn't affecting you. And maybe you don't care about it because it doesn't affect you. But it's affecting a lot of people, and it's going to affect even more. But more importantly as we've talked about repeatedly. I think almost everybody agrees regardless whether you want to blame the Democratic Congress or you wanna blame the president. It's just it's no way to run a railroad and to have a partial government shutdown. It's been going on for over a month. When we are the one remaining superpower in the world makes us look small. It makes. Us look silly. And I think it's incredibly frustrating. So apparently, the story is that Senator Johnson. Kind of lashed out the frustration. At least according to the reports he says to Mitch McConnell, he says you put us in this position. And then, you know, Mitch McConnell, apparently, you know, said, you know, you're, you know. Are you are you blaming me? Do you think I want this? And he said, well, look, this is Johnson said we're in the situation. This is where we are. Because you're you're having these votes, and we know that they're going to fail, and we know that they're not gonna work out. You know, so yeah, we're we're in this situation because you haven't been able to to move the ball along. And I think that's the frustration that a lot of people have and Ron Johnson think again, it doesn't matter whether you're Republican it doesn't matter whether you're democrat. I think Ron Johnson is expressing the feeling that a lot of us have which is come on. We've just got to be able to get something done. And you cannot have the government continue to be shut down. Okay. Let's take a quick break. When we come back. Hopefully, we'll be in a position to hear from the president United States on this shutdown twelve forty Jeff Wagner, WTMJ attorney Tom Nichols. Finding an honest skilled.
