Biden Serves up Word Salad, Says He Rode Amtrak as Vice President for 36 Years

"Here's the president yesterday, this is the commander in chief. This is the leader of the free world. This is the guy who is ostensibly in charge of shaping our nation's destiny. A lot of the folks in Amtrak became my family, not a joke. I'd ride every day. I commuted every single day for 36 years as president of vice president of the United States after my wife and daughter were killed. I went home to see my family never stopped going doing that. Now, again, I don't take any joy in that. That's sad. It's a sad thing to watch. I feel sorry for his wife. She's got to be embarrassed. His family, his staff, everybody around him. And sorry, that's not a stutter. That's what the apologists have been saying that how mean we are to point out how out of it he seems to be, well, he suffers from a lifelong stutter, because that's a great deflection. Oh yeah, make his critics look like they're being cruel. Nobody wants to be cruel. But what in the world are we gonna do? The guy's only one year into his

"I was first introduced to Chad pray that when I heard about his book, am I crazy and unapologetic patriot takes on the insanity of today's woke world. He's our kind of person. Chad prather is an American conservative political commentator, comedian and Internet personality. That's the official bio. He's also a Texas gubernatorial candidate and been described as sort of a modern day Will Rogers. Chad has great meaning and thanks for joining us here on the Mike Gallagher show. How you doing? Hey, Mike, it's good to be with you. I'm a big fan of the show love what you do. I appreciate you having me on. Well, I'm a big fan of your show and your work as well. Your podcast is terrific. And your book, two thirds of the way through because I need some affirmation that I'm not the crazy one. My late wife Denise used to say, we had a running joke. If you're crazy, do you know it? And I think it's a fair question. So when, for example, the New York City council votes unanimously to remove the statue of Thomas Jefferson because he owned slaves. When Lori Lightfoot poses maskless in a crowd full of people indoors violating her own mask mandate, all these things that keep happening over and over again, you and I know they're crazy, but Chad the $64,000 question for you as we begin this conversation, do they know they're crazy? I think the asylums are empty, Mike, I think they're running the street, not just running the street, but they're creating the policy and the culture we're living in. Unfortunately, we've given them a big voice. No, they don't know they're crazy. They think that this is their ideal. They think that they're doing something really good for the planet and doing things for the world that is absolving us all of our great sins of the past and history. Now, I think we're all at some level on the insanity spectrum. We have to be a little bit crazy just to make heads or tails of what we're seeing across the

Kelvin Cochran Shares His Story of Religious Persecution in New Book 'Facing the Fire'

"Folks, I have a privilege of speaking with somebody I think of as a friend. Kelvin Cochran, you've heard him on this program before if you've been listening for a while. Since we're doing a fundraiser with the alliance defending freedom, it's appropriate that Kelvin Cochran would come out with this book now, because he has been the victim of what has happened in America where elites don't have any idea of what religious liberty is. They've been ham handed in overreaching and in squashing people's religious liberty and at the top of that list is Kelvin Cochran, who is a hero. The new book, he has written is called facing the fire. The faith that brought America's fire chief that's him through the flames of persecution, Kelvin Cochrane, welcome the program. Thank you, Eric. It's good to see you, my friend. It's great to see you. You're an encouragement to me. For my audience, tell the story briefly of what happened to you briefly because I want to get to what the rest of the book says. But you've been through the fire and the Atlanta, the folks in Atlanta were not good to you. You were the fire chief in all of Atlanta. Yes. Yes. I was a fire chief in the city of Atlanta and of course serving my profession honorably and faithfully. And while living out my faith at the same time, at my church, Elizabeth baptist church, Eric, I wrote a book for Christian me and Bible study that dealt with me and who struggled with condemnation and double mindedness. And in the book, who told you that you were naked? I was addressing sexual sand because many Christian man still struggle with sexual sin. I used the book of genesis to talk about God's view of sexuality, simple phrases like he created their male and female that eventually mother and father cleve to his wife and to become one flash and that created them appropriate because he wanted a big family of kids. Those few paragraphs cost me my childhood dream come true 34 year fire service career when an Atlanta city council member complained to the mayor about what I wrote about biblical marriage and sexuality. The mayor suspended me for 30 days to see if I had discriminated against anyone from the LGBTQ community based on my beliefs that investigation exonerated me, however I was terminated

"You know I don't work for anyone I work with a lot of people to all to be working for anyone I've got a bad temper and I don't want to be working for anybody So I worked for myself and I choose to partner with So I partnered with cumulus you probably listening to me on a cumulus station now So cumulus for some stupid reason thought it would be a really good idea to do a vaccine mandate why they would do that I have no idea Don't know if they're trained medical professionals or what and I'm missing something But as a result of that there's been some reporting about some people who've had a separate from their jobs or moved into different positions because of it And I'm kind of done with that Yeah I'm not going to play along with that So out of respect for them I called them today and let them know my position But I'm not playing along with that Then I'll invite by the way any of those hosts who corner a article I read today and inside radio who've been let go because of it you're welcome to come on the show I'm reaching out to one of them right now in case any of you are under the mistaken belief that I wasn't paying attention to what was going on I don't advertise a lot of what I do on the air Because I don't need to I'm not trying to impress anyone But I assure you is anyone involved in this show knows I have been fighting this fight for a long time This is not new I believe these vaccine mandates are unethical I believe they're immoral I believe they don't take into account the science of natural natural immunity due to a prior infection I believe their broad based and don't take into account an individual circumstances of why they may or may not want to take a vaccine And they're antithetical to everything I believe in My company believes in I believe in myself my wife believes in and anyone associated with my company it would not be subjected to these same restrictions So I'll say again I'm not going to let this go Human is going to have to make a decision with me if they want to continue this partnership or they don't But I'm talking to you on their airwaves They don't have to let that happen And I wouldn't mind if they didn't Because it's really unfortunate that people with a lower profile than me who don't have 300 plus stations Have been you know summarily either shown the door or have been put in really untenable circumstances because they simply want to make a medical decision by themselves

Charlie and Jack Posobiec Discuss What It Means to Be a Good Man

"All right, this is a good question. Sherman from Grand Rapids, I commonly say, just as some background is in references in the question, be the same person in public that you are in private. Because stop pretending to be somebody that you're not. So if you are in private, a conservative, be a conservative in public. Charlie always say that you should be the same person in public that you are in private. I agree, but what does it look like to be a good person in private so that you carry over that good behavior publicly? I hear Jack talk about his years of sobriety. You talk about the need to explore big ideas and always be constantly learning. Can the two of you just expand on what it looks like to be a good person, specifically a good man in today's day and age Sherman from Grand Rapids? Kind of an open ended question, but I'd go back to I'd go back to the gospels where we're taught to be in the world but not of the world, right? So the idea that when people meet you, that you can talk, you know, I can make cultural references to Game of Thrones and Harry Potter and Star Wars and everything else. But when you meet them, when you meet someone, or I should say, when they meet you, rather, that they should come off with a sense of that person is grounded in something different. And something that's a little bit different than what's pumped onto TV every day. What is your sobriety meant for your life? Not drinking. So, yeah, for me, early on, and I wasn't someone, you know, I didn't do I never considered myself an alcoholic, but it got to a point where I said, you know what? I'm done with this. I'm totally done. Why? And why did you get to that point? You know, I've told some stories about this before, but I had a friend who, you know, I had a friend who got arrested over it and I saw the way that it basically ruined his life. And this was really on early 20s. And I saw how just so many doors were closed to him. We're completely closed by after what happened. And I said, you know, for my life, looking at it, it's not worth it. It's not worth even going down that road, and plus I get to wake up every morning, feeling amazing right now and not just because I sleep on my pillows, which I do. From a food Kirk. There's another promo code out there that people not on this show, but not on this show. But seriously, we do see one of our pillars, actually, and the toppers in the sheets. But my wife loves not knowing, I don't understand. From a coach is the only way to go. Yeah, okay. And you have your mental, the way I look at it is this. The way I look at is this. Parallel talents, right? Parable Italians is that the idea from behind that is that God gives you your talents God gives you your gifts. He doesn't give them to you, so you can bury them under the ground. Talents were a currency and hide them. But you're right. Right, it is perfectly for the English term to. You're right. And so I look at it and I say I've been given whatever gifts I've been given whatever meager gifts I've been given by God. And this is something that dilutes them. It's something that affects your brain chemistry. It's something that affects your health. This doesn't seem like I'm being a good steward of God's talents if I'm

As much as I love snack cakes, I always grew up as a hostess kid and didn't really enjoy little Debbie's didn't even see little Debbie's until probably the early to mid 80s when I was going to college in southwest Virginia. Now they've been nationwide and they've been around most of my life, but I didn't really notice them until then. My favorites probably the zebra cakes. I think they're the ones I eat the most if I do eat them. My wife, I think she may have nutty buddies in the house right now and she likes the Swiss cakes and doesn't mind the zebra cakes, and while I've had the Christmas tree cakes, they pretty much all taste the same to me. But the ice cream is making people crazy. Thought? Gonna try it. Gonna see if I can find a pint at Walmart when they start selling it. It's going to be a limited time run. It's going to be something that people are going to be looking for. The look out for, if you really care, little Debbie ice cream, who would have thought people would care that much?

"Doctor William Doyle, welcome to the Mike Gallagher show. I appreciate you joining us. Thank you very much for having me, Mike. My pleasure. You know, I know we want to I don't want to drag you into the political wars that are going on and president Trump is maintaining that the election wasn't legit and everything and there's a lot of anger. There's a lot of frustration. I want to get into the nuts and bolts of what you're study found and I poured through these articles. I think it's a lot of it is the basis of Molly Hemingway's new book, but can you share with us an overview of how Mark Zuckerberg and his wife directed literally hundreds of millions. I think $419 million into communities into areas that Biden really needed and how that plays out. Try to break it down for us in layman's terms for a moment if you will. Okay, let me give it a shot. Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan donated out of their own personal resources, not through that they have a private foundation that they normally would do something like this through, but they went through they use their own private resources. And they funneled those resources into a little sleepy Chicago based nonprofit called the center for technology and civic life. Before 2019, their budget was about $1.8 million a year. And they seem to be engaged in pretty neutral in a tech related election issues. But then in 2020, they experienced this giant inflow of money from Mark Zuckerberg from its personal resources. How giant. It ended up totaling $350 million through that one organization. That $419.5 million figure includes another organization that they invested a lot in called the center for election innovation and research or CEI are. But our main focus is on CTCL because it was up $350 million gift or donation or whatever you want to call it to CTCL that had the most significant impact according to our research on the election

Getting to Know Arizona's Attorney General Mark Brnovich

"Kircher with us today is the attorney general of the great state of Arizona, Mark brnovich. Welcome. Thanks, Charlie for having me on. So I can't wait to get into what I call the cartel of the colleges because you have some things that you really want to dive into that your office has been working on about corruption and higher education. Those are my words you can be more precise because you diplomatic? Yeah, that's right. But I don't have to be and I also want to kind of talk about some of the new things your office has released in regards to voter registration material and some other things regarding the Arizona audit and the election. But first, I just want you to introduce yourself to our audience. I think that would be really helpful. Tell us your story how you became, you know, attorney general of Arizona, and also I want to say that attorney general Burnham is running for U.S. Senate, which is a very important Senate race. So please introduce yourself. Well, thank you, Charlie. I always tell folks that if you want to know about me, you probably should know about my background in my history. And so I'm a first generation American, my family fled communism. And when your family has not just studied history but live it lived it, you have this great appreciation for how unique freedom is. And, you know, we know that folks like Ronald Reagan used to talk about freedom is never one more than one generation away from extinction. And, you know, my family live that. And that's why I'm so passionate about the constitution and our liberties. And so much of my career has been spent as I was raised that we have to protect freedom and we have an obligation to give back because this is the greatest country in the world. So, you know, I'm a public school kid. I still live in the same neighborhood. Neighborhood I grew up here in Arizona. I was a gang prosecutor at a law school. In fact, I met my wife there and she's now actually on the federal bench. So, you know, anybody was anything about federal judges. There's an old joke that what's the difference between God and a federal judge? God was wrong once I'm kidding. No, no, no, no. Hey, you're gonna get struck by lightning. Don't be saying that. No, no, God doesn't think he's a federal judge. But anyway, no, she's amazing, but then worked at the AG's office, a bit of federal prosecutor. Served our country in the army reserve. I worked at a think tank called the Goldwater institute where I wrote a lot and wrote briefs on the importance of property rights and individual liberty. And so I had never thought I was going to ever run for any office and I was brought up this real strong sense of that when you're the government, when you can take away people's livelihoods, their life, liberty property. You have to have the most highly qualified, but also the most ethical people in those office and people that understand how much power you have when you're the government.

"I did it. They did a two days so that would include my aunt Never thought of it that way. Wait. Yeah, but maybe I think I I think he has a lot of the aspects of two wives these days since my aunt is living with them having sex. He's in trouble. I don't know if it's all the good bed event, but he's a little bit of it. Um, Sisters, Man, that's the dream. But then Don't I think it's like that Nothing out of her stuff is allowed to go to the girlfriend if she dies. If my mom dies, like all of her jewelry and stuff, none of it and I think the house goes to me. S o. He would be a renter like my father s. So then I would get to control which which of his women get to move into the house, which I guess would be none. Yes, you say, would you? I can't see, you know, in order to God bless my dad. He puts up with all this mom jokes about how you could rent the house from me, right? No, but no, I I guess I would have to. You would have to give him a condo for his Is women or something, cause that would be weird. That would be very well, I'm sure it happens all the time, Right? Like you know, a Z get older. Maybe you only have to be older and one of someone dies. And then they you know, the person has the right to be happy and move on. And then But you've got to kind of watch the next phase. We should talk about this. You know when we could take phone calls and have more time casserole, something because they come around when the wife is dying. They bring a damn casserole when the wife dies, and they're trying to hit on the man. It's gonna be weird because you know you want I'm sure you want your family member like I would want my mom and my dad to be happy. And so if they moved on, and that made them happy that you know this person, you know, hypothetically two terrible conversations. Not here anymore, so fine, But it has to be weird. I would want my husband to mourn for the rest of his life. And that's my mom and cry. That's my mom. Really? That's that's my mom. That's my mom. Self? Yeah, anyway, So you guys have more in common than I thought. I love her. Of course we did. Yeah. Fred show Traffic. This report is sponsored by Invisible Fence..

"Caribbean island is also home to Terry and Roberts. He's also worried about Nicole and her Children. It's a complicated relationship, but she's Nicole's mother in North Her son mantra shot travel to Iraq in 2014 with his own family. When Nicole's first husband died, Shavon took her on as a second wife. Well, when I spoke to Nicole, Actually, she stated that Hey, was compassionate because her husband died and I think she had a twin and they had died. Also. So he decided to embrace into his family. Probably their way of life is that a man can have more than one lives on Everybody happy Sectarian has not one, but two daughters in north stuck in Syria. His son's first wife on the cold Jack from London. Both grandmothers in London and Trinidad have had their lives torn apart by extremism. Although divided by oceans and continents, they share a determination to bring their grandchildren to safety. I was put him teenager reporting and on Wednesdays program, Poonam will explore how the small island of Trinidad and Tobago has become did become a fertile ground recruiting ground for eyes. Let's stay with this subject now there and broaden it a little bit by looking generally at the resistance of Western nations to repatriate Children whose parents are dead or whose mother's a deemed security risks. We can speak now to Dr Hands. Yakub Schindler, senior director of the Counter Extra Extra Extremism Project, which is a transatlantic think tank and advocacy group. Welcome to the program. How many people are we talking about? Children and mothers who are Languishing in these camps who belong to you countries. Thank you so much for having me on. First of all numbers are really difficult to obtain because there are citizens off various status ofthe citizenship in those camps were talking about about just about Over 1000 Children on DH, then several 1000 potential women. But it's unclear because obviously both all how on other camps in Syria and not extremely well maintained as far statistics is concerned. But it's a sizable cook. Okay, a sizable group Onda riel difference in Western nations in how they should deal with them. United Kingdom clearly feels having only repatriated three orphans clearly feels that The mothers of these Children are potential security risks, even if they see the Children as innocence. What are the countries in Europe feel? I mean, what about France, Germany? Many other European countries, how they dealing with these people differently? So let me separate the men from the Children because I don't think the UK government is very alone in its state assessment here. There's been numerous attacks linked with women linked to Hazel in Europe. Have been women in YSL being active in the security apparatus off the organization when it still had to state there were recruited us that we're women, so I don't think that you're a woman is alone in judging that women in general can no longer seen per definition is less dangerous than men. As for the Children, I think as far as I can see pretty much every single European government has declared its willingness to repatriate the Children, and it's a little bit easier if you talked about repatriation from Iraq because you have a government counterpart that you can interact with. In Syria. Most off those individuals are incomes run by a non state party by the Kurdish forces, so the repatriation issue is far more complex in the legal sense in Syria. Then it is in Iraq. But all governments are are willing to take the kids back. It's just a question of how you're eventually going to be able to do that. But there is also really problem with the people that are holding both the women on the Children. If you bring if you separate the Children from the mother's you are then having to deal with all the camps are going to have to deal with a large number of stateless individuals. I'm separating the women from the Children doesn't mean they're necessarily lose. This isn't ship so not every government has taken the policy off stripping on individuals off their citizenship. What has happened is that a large number off those going from Europe were actually not European citizens, but have European permanent residents teach starters and that Actually expired. The British government actually did a deliberate decision Early on to double check whether anyone had to lash Maliti and then withdraw the British nationality in favour off the other one. We will have to leave it there. Very complicated Subject, daughter Hands. Yakub Schindler! Thanks for joining us here.

"Left handed like soft tossing reliever he was pretty damn good sometimes guys find second wife inter Miller one of the great left handed relievers in baseball and what a great closers in baseball a few years back he was one of the number one prospect in all of baseball for the Marlins back in like two thousand four five right when he and Cameron Maybin and Miguel Cabrera those guys were coming up I believe he was actually traded former Gil Cabrera Dontrelle Willis to the Marlins from the Tigers he was he started starting pitcher and then became one of the best left handed relievers in baseball so this kid Nick Swaney he moved from the bullpen to the starting rotation at NC state and and a great success but reliever Ascot's believe he may be better as a reliever because his velocity got as high as ninety five as a as a relief pitcher the giants think that he's gonna be able to to start adding on to that velocity regularly maybe up to ninety five overtime like as you build strengthen and consistency with this motion so interesting stuff but that was the first left here I was a first pitch for the giants selected and I save like pitcher only because their second pick in the draft is one that's really really really intriguing it fits the far on mold it fits the modern day baseball mold and this is what I'm getting at with how you scout pitching at the college and high school level now because starting pitching is not what it was are we gonna get to a point and and people I know hate this I'm not just talking opener talking like the three inning chunk are we gonna get to it I mean we're all ready to spot now where would baseball returns you've got to have a pitcher finishing the inning or faced three batters it's just the the nature of the game now that's where the new rules I'm not a huge fan of it but they think it's going to help with the pace of play we'll see or you get a diner counter strike somebody walks three straight guys instead of just fix it one batter before you know he doesn't have it what I'm getting at here though is you're not looking necessarily it's starting pitching and relief pitching I don't think anymore as can this guy consistently give me two hundred innings a year I I think that that number as kind of dwindled down I think now you're looking at is this guy a quality arm and how many quality arms can we get in one bowl panel in one rotation or on one roster at one time you can never ever ever have too much pitching so they drafted this kid out of San Diego state his name is is Casey Schmitt not Casey Schmitt with the D. S. C. H. M. I. I T. T. S. R. Murphy put that last night you get a third base with a lasting Schmidt research thinking Mike racer thing hall of Famer at a at a Philadelphia the coldest air two way player from San Diego state the giants view him as a plus plus third baseman with a plus plus arm here's the other thing though is that was a closer it seemed eager state as well as a stud third baseman may think he's an everyday third baseman they think is bad is gonna play he's not only physical but he's also a hitter they say and I think the power is going to come around a little bit better right now he's a line drive gap to gap guy did know those guys still existed proposal power another one a line drive guys anymore anyway here's a slash line from San Diego state three twenty three a three eighty six oh B. P. a four fifty two slugging percentage that was all of course with the shortened season he also had six saves using the Cape Cod league last year twenty nineteen last summer it's the the premium league for college baseball talent any C. two homers in the championship game as well as picking up the save what's interesting here is that and I'll read you the the sort of breakdown for Farhan Zaidi and Michael Holmes on this player because people are talking about this guy as a two way athlete that he's got the arm to be a relief pitcher or closer he's also got the ability to be a plus defensive and offensive third baseman so Michael Scott and director says quote we look at Casey's a plus defensive third baseman with plus possibly double plus arm I don't know that meets he just had double the stuff now he's got plus power or double plus power he can really throw because what he says he's a top of the scale tried throwing arm and defensive player we see it was a strong physical athletic player who can really control the zone right now he continues to mature not only physically but also as a hitter he's a guy that works extremely excited about Farrakhan went on to talk about this guy on the zoom call last night that he did without with beat writers after they finished the second round and I'm intrigued by this method because far on did not rule it out all the giants certainly see him as a third baseman they want to develop him as a third baseman and I think sometimes the fear too is if you've got a quote two way player I got like Michael Lorenzen on the eight on the the Reds or die like at what Shohei Ohtani obviously came over as a two way player we knew that because of his talent in Japan would see him have success at this level now in college a lot of guys pitch and play another position hi Tim Hudson was a stud center fielder Albert and he was like a two hundred game winner in the major leagues right so it can change it involves a lot of times they'll just plug you into your best position we seem to go the other way too Joe Mason was potentially hall of fame closer when the giants drafted him he's a shortstop they moved him to the to the bullpen and and they ship them out to Minnesota for aged person scheme with with Francisco Liriano improve Bonser and still maybe the worst trade in giants history in a more modern day giants fans start talking Matt Duffy but he played a whole lot of ball anyway here's the foreign quote on this kid Casey Schmitt I'm excited about this guy from San Diego state differences from a staffing standpoint we really love these a defensive third baseman but you can see him as an everyday player it's where most of our interest in him came from he said our focus is on him as a positional player dot dot dot but we wouldn't rule out pitching at this point it's intriguing it's an interesting thing to have when you're talking about having a player who could maybe come in who has the ability to save face one batter and get you out of an inning rather than having to to go to your bullpen and say Hey we're gonna we're gonna waste the picture here especially with the rules now for limiting the number of pictures on your roster I wonder yeah I wonderful day to a role where you have to designate a two way or if it's just having a guy who's in the field and and allowing them to come in and pitch would work out I remember a couple years ago I can't remember where they were from the Colorado how many feel like they were back you somewhere she did that where he like I want to say he brought in a pitcher and.

"Be reading your letter live on the air just like we're going to read this one right here right now. Now you know the nephew out today. It is his birthday. He is celebrating software. Yes see celebrating so juniors then for the nephew junior time for the strawberry later my good friends. Shirley strong beams. Thank you junior subject. He has two wives and two separate lives there. Stephen Shirley I am twenty two years old and I recently graduated from college so I'm quarantine at my parents house. They have been married for thirty seven years and the marriage has been rocky since I was a little girl but they are still together. My father works out of the country for two months every year. So that gives my mother a break from him. In late March I found out that my father was not only working. While he was overseas he had started a whole new life. I overheard my dad on the phone saying he was miserable at home and he was only staying in the marriage until after he walks me down the aisle. My wedding is planned for December. And my dad is supposed to give me a way. Well not anymore. All of that has changed. I told my dad I heard this phone call. And he told me it was a male friend. I got his phone and I call the last number he dialed. It ended up being a woman that lives in Brazil and. She told me that she's heard all about me and she knows that my parents are still married. Wow she told me that she is also married to my father and that they got married two years ago but she's being patient with my father while he prepares to divorce my mom and then moved to Brazil. I told my father that I talked to a second wife and he got white as a ghost. I threatened to tell my mom if he didn't tell her he apologized and he told me. This grown folks business and I need to stay in my place. I told him he is not welcome to come to my wedding and I want nothing else to do with him. He told me it is complicated but he respects my wishes. We are quarantined with the big secret. And my mom's does not have a clue that her marriage is over. My father simply does not care anymore anymore. What can I do? Wow well Man This is big. I mean you ask what can you do? I don't know that there's a lot you can do. I don't know that that there's a whole lot you can do. Because you know it's your father who who's Mess things up and but anyway let let me just say this Your father was right about one thing. Okay he was right about this. This is very much grown folks business very much. They're grown your mom and dad but guess what you're grown to eur twenty two years old. You're grown this your business to this family business. These are your parents. I think he owes it to you and goes to your mom. His wife thirty seven years he owes you guys an explanation What he did doesn't just affect him. Okay it affects the entire family. This is a family matter. Now that means Momma Daddy you everybody Your mom shouldn't be kept in the dark on this. She really shouldn't whether the marriage has been rocky since. You're since you were a little kid or what and it still rocky. That doesn't matter that this is going to devastate her. This news is going to devastate. Her by the way having to live is legal in the US. I don't know about Brazil but I definitely know it's legal in the US and it's so sad because you want your dad to walk down the aisle On your wedding day and that's usually what dads do But you've asked him out of the wedding so it's already affected more than just tim. It's affected you don't want to have anything to do with him anymore. like you say you're quarantine in the house with this big secret going on now between you and your dad the other wife and the mother who knows nothing she's clueless. Somebody's going to have to break a tour. And if your dad doesn't step up and be a man and tell your mother his wife of thirty seven years what's going on. You know I say you. You would have to do it if you were a girlfriend or a neighbor Gal. Yeah because I would say that because I don't think her mom should be in the dock on this when somebody has to tell her that hit her husband has a whole nother wife and a whole nother country. She's gotTa find out and if he doesn't tell her you step up and do it. That is my advice now. I Know Steve is going to disagree with me on that because he doesn't believe in telling but this is a family situation going on right here and you're involved all right Steve. Well this is is a very very difficult a letter. This is very very difficult because okay. Here's a twenty two year old graduated. She's in quarantine with the parents of thirty seven years marriage and they've had a rocky you know relationship every sense and so but she found out that father not only works overseas. He's has a whole new life over there. She overheard a dad on phone saying that he was miserable at home and he was only staying into marriage until after he walked me down. Now my wedding is December. My Dad is supposed to give me a way well not anymore while now. I guess I would want to say what does walking down the aisle have to do with any of this but then I guess I can understand a young girl young woman. You hurt for your mother. You found out some information but when we come back I'm GonNa tell you what I really is going on with your dad right different. Hold onto that. We'll have part two of your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour subject for today. He has two wives in two separate. Lives will get back into it right after this. You're listening to morning. Show I Steve. Come on. Let's recap today strawberry letter subject. He has two wives in two separate lives are twenty two year old woman has graduated from College in Quarantine would appearance has been married for thirty seven years. They've always had a rocky relationship. She overheard her father talking on the phone the other day to someone claiming that he felt that he was miserable and he was only staying into marriage until after he walks the lady down. The twenty two year old is writing the letter. She said that are waiting is in December and her dad is supposed to give me away and then she says well not anymore. Well quite naturally I would want to go. What does that have to do with anything? 'cause you manage your day because you found out a secret about him but then let me fall. Let me show you how to seek work. You told Your Dad that you heard his phone call. He told you was a male friend. You Got Your Dad's phone. You would've never got that phone for me. You Got Your Dad's phone and you dial the last number back. It ended up being a woman that lives in Brazil. She told this girl delayed wrote a letter that she's heard all about me and she knows about my parents being still married. She told me that she was also married to your father and then they got married two years ago but she's being patient with my father while he prepares to divorce my mom and then move to. Brazil a father that I talked to his second wife. He got white as a ghost. I threatened to tell my mom. If he didn't tell him he apologized to me but then he told you. This was grown folks business and I needed to stay in my place. I told him he wasn't welcome. You can't come to the way now and I won't nothing else to do with me. He told me as complicated but he respects my wishes. Now we're Korn team with this big secret in my mom. Don't have a clue. Her marriage is over. My father's simply does not care anymore. What can I do well? You can't do anything. Shirley got this part of it right. It is their business but now that you found out it's yours because you're in the family initial mom. Should you tell your mom absolutely not absolutely not? I think that has to be your father and only Yo fall in case. That's the way it has come. If he created to messed in he got he got expelled. That's too easy route. If you go in there and talking but let me tell you something I think you is actually doing first of all. I don't know if the marriage in Brazil is legal. I think he knows that I think he's also been playing this woman in Brazil telling her I'm leaving. I'm leaving I'm leaving I'm leaving. I'm leaving but he's giving your mom no inkling of that. I think to do went down. There got caught up gas todd. Having his life star playing got to play in two hard had little crazy little ceremony down there. I think he has no intention to leave in your mom..

"It has been an honor and a privilege to come into your homes, all these years and entertain you and I opened I find something by law to do. And I think you would like come back if you'll be as gracious inviting me in your home. If you have been, I've been through a very Parkfield. You were talking about Johnny and his and his wife Alex, you know, that was his fourth wife and you said, you were kind of courting her to, to talk about her for the book. He was married. You know, before he even started a Carson cellar. And, and who do you trust? And some of these other shows in the nineteen fifties Jones, still alive, by the way, his first wife his first wife last I heard I heard she was alive. She sort of missing link. Yeah. She, she had sort of a troubled life, and, yeah, I kind of an itinerant limited. It's a peculiar story, but I don't think you know, she didn't really have relationships with the sun so much more. You know, Johnny today had three sons together right for name was Joan, but she went by Jodi, but the funny thing is her name was Joe. And that, of course, his next second wife was JoAnne. Yeah. And in the third one is JoAnne. Yeah. No third one. And then and then somewhere in between Joan rivers came along and broke his heart. He married it. That's right. That's right. But, you know, you talk about his wife JoAnne. Joan rivers broke his heart, obviously, that's different way. Yes. For bail it out and jumping show telling him. Yeah. It anyone who tries to defend that, well, bed, including yourself. You know that charge I it, you're you're it's just incorrect, because she did they were so close. He so if you, you know, sometimes you can see any of Joan rivers as a guest how much Carson loves her just as, as a he don't center and he feeds her as just delated by at all times. And so when she really had every opportunity to bitch of this to him. Well in advance. You know she claims she did before she told the press save day. She told the press, she tried to call John Eddie already do, of course. Yeah. By then and drops a phone back on the hook and never really forgave him for that. Because. It just it's that's a shame. And I don't know if that speaks well of him, I don't know. But I don't think she really tried all that hard to say, you know, screwed up here. Tie talk, Joe. I talked to Joan a couple of months before he passed. And we talked a little bit about that. And she expressed remorse and I know she has another shows too, that she never. She never did that. But Johnny didn't trust a lot of people would probably with good reason. You know, he had to keep his circle of probably relatively tight and Joan was in that circle, right? Yeah. And at look at Linda betray, he was Johnny found ways to, you know, bring people close to who very good at the trae have. And, and of course, the greatest example is bass Bush yet. Yeah. Is a turtle who wrote heavy this Bush, get wrote a memoir about, you know, working for Johnny left out all the parts of the we're, we're the money flowed? It. Vijaya was trying to concerned about eighty you know the honesty trust factor anymore. Let go, but that's all left out. But anyway, the funny thing about that book is, it's sort of a horrible thing. Right. If you're read it is terrible. Best friend and attorney and he always likes to make fun of me when you hear because I've been working on this book for a long time. It's sort of legendary. It's out there. Personally ended believe me. It's had a really good reason for having lost the threat of especially the last three or four years here. But, but I it will be back yet. We are going to get this thing out there. But anyway, but he always, he box me as a sycophant, and I, I don't think I'm sick of it. I do love Donny Carson. But I also though, as you'll see that in that, you know, America Nassar's, I could tie point out the parts were at hurts, too. Yeah. Absolutely did. Yeah. Johnny, you know, the funniest thing is what I approached him for this Esquire piece that we did do back in two thousand and two. That was the ten fan of three of his departure. Yeah. And, and I admire, you know, argument to have been was is only going to be ten years, once, you know, oddly, he sort of size of Barrett adad at also the fact that it's a lot easier to talk to a writer, you know, that, you know, interesting, a big show. Yeah. Yeah. And I it was it was especially important was this was this, you know, basically nine eleven. It happened about five months earlier. So, you know, September eleventh, two thousand one and so the world was completely still in. We are all in shock. You know, we're all looking for a security blanket and the Kurds to me. We the, the most important security blanket, America, ever had is this guy gets through those thirty years in a way that nobody else could be, you know. Johny touch yet at night, I probably did not talk you tonight. I don't know that he'd be a security blanket was, so what he sort of saw with that. We, you know what I was getting that there. And it was a great time to talk to him. And how long did it? How long did you spend with them? How long did you spend with them? Bill. Few hours, really? I you know I it officially, you know. Yeah. Digitally? Yeah. But, you know, but there, there was, you know, we were touch, and such but. I never did want to, you know publishers came to be in after the Esquire piece came up, then it pushed me to do you know, biography, and I knew that, that was not. Please have. Although he did tell me at the time, he didn't give a damn a music softer words, what anybody cared, what anybody said about him anymore, you know, it, it didn't matter, you know, 'cause he done it and he was perfectly at home with, with himself and his history. I think I feel like his his, his personal foibles and believe me, these are bulls that you would he would be sad if he didn't back. Yeah. They have that job that job is so, you know, the pressure essentially, then, you know again with three networks if. Yeah. L. But I'll tell you this was a guy though that you're right thirty or something tonight show, but hosted the Oscars. You know how many times he did that he was the man everybody wanted a piece of, of this guy. But when he said he was done, he did some Letterman stuff. You know, he appeared on on late show when he went to CBS, but I saw an read and heard, and maybe it was from you that he felt like there had been some actors back in the day, people that he admired, like Jack benny's and so forth. He didn't like he wasn't a big fan of Bob. Hope I nobody was always on his show, but he felt like there were some of these guys that stuck around a little too long. And maybe was that the guiding force of him saying, you know, when I'm done. I'm done. Yeah. It was really about open fact at a, you know, what's funny about that. This is good good plug for TV because I think it's coming up this week, Letterman's final. Final appearance is the same night about hopes final appearance. Watching a couple of weeks ago committees, which is. Excuse me by riding came through the window. But anyway. We wind tunnel here. But, but, but the but but it's yeah, it, it seems like because we're building up and I do believe they're gonna show the final the final show on Monday night. So you can actually relive all that was just the strangest thing to watch on TV boy to sit in the room. Was even crazy. You say you were there for that episode with Letterman. And I was there and it just sat there and it was, it was so solemn, you know, you, you wanted to laugh, and you do is all slipping away at it was just actually it's next next next Monday. They're gonna airline win that doesn't make sense. I don't know probably Monday. Yeah. I was just checking the state you saw already to the hope and cloudy, but let a bit home. I was watching hoping that now Dave, you know, obviously, you know, kind of melancholy for him because it and I, I did you talk to John about, you know, the fact that he didn't get to pick his successor. I mean, the Jeevan talk about that the ship sailed at that point, what I talked about, at that point was the late shift moving. Right. It was just being actually hit had just come out at I was teasing him about rich little playing him. Yeah. And I believe he said something ago. Can you believe that? I love that. I love it. But watching Bob Hope is that exact reason on that show that I feel like Johnny wanted to check out and be done because hope was like yell thing. Letterman said exactly the same thing 'cause he was required had him recall his last night. And this is way back at the time is almost shortly thereafter, when I was talking to that date talk to me, a lot at, and it was really, you know, he said, geez. See that it just it just seems every great thing. Bob Hope ever was, you know, serves of great hospital hosted just his movies, you know, or certainly admirable is people discovered long before after Woody Allen said, so but it was an embarrassment if he just barely there. He is blaming didn't quite understand. It was his last time there. And. It's just. He was out the boat and other stupid special. He has coming up. You know, some football always read retired special desire. Doc, in on ninety, you know, the last appearance, you know, at, at NBC as a as I doing it by a I is, in fact, about a year later about what's ninetieth birthday became back and put on a tuxedo. They had a big special, which I think you could find today trouble. And that's the last, that's the last mile, it was about Bob Hope. But at least if don't good to see about their wartime. 'cause Bush it was really when he left, it created such ways of fear almost the country, you know, it was it was it was like, let, what are we gonna do? Yeah. You said the security blanket, the security blanket was gone that you had every night, regardless of what was going on in your life. Whatever was going on in the world. You know, you could count on Johnny every night, right? I love day. Dave had you know. By all Ditto taking over in a weird way, Johnny Cada do that. In a sense, even though they didn't get the gig. But, but, you know, what's kind of throws me later, some of these late eighties early nineties before Johnny retires, but especially late eighties, and they're starting to stick allow Letterman you know a tonight show, you see it once in a while. And boy, it just the fit is so long..

And apparently, the guy in the other station asked him a lot of wise, and he wouldn't answer he kept dodgy, then he dropped to F bombs like he's doing on Facebook against all these people. And then he says the interviewer had no class. Oh. No class. Gotcha journalism. That's what he said. When the man had the audacity to say that I wanted to give the ball of my son and daughter and brother. Gotcha journalism. That's got your journalism who don't know. Gotcha journalism is or what you did was. Gotcha. Okay. You had people making kind offers to you. And you just spit them. So today rain, there's a there's a big big list of great guests coming up this year at at Little Caesars arena. And we'll we'll hear all about Tom Wilson, they presidency Yeovil -ympia entertainment is on the other end of our line. And he joins us to give us an outline of this. First of all would you have given the baseball back to pools. Yes. Okay. Yeah. Got a lot of swag Disney. Yeah. And and I think that's you know, it's it's more special to to the player who did it. And and what you find is. It's more special five years from now in ten years from now to the player who begins to look back after you retire, and you think of all the great things that you did. And that's that's an amazing accomplishment. I mean, imagine being one of three in the history of baseball. So, you know, it's unfortunate that it had kind of ended up that way, very important. But unfortunately, there's guys a law. Student is reacting. He's he's got so much anger. Build up inside. He's Chris Illitch names and saying the elections are selfish. It's sick. Well, well on the other hand, it's going to be a great summer for me. Thank you. You're playing music when you came back from from your response was easy top if they're as fiftieth anniversary. Z Z top. How long rounded you've got it? Right there. Fifty years fifty. Well, we got we got several anniversary Santana it's the fiftieth year fiftieth anniversary of them playing at at Woodstock. And so they're coming back. But. Well, you're having a Woodstock celebration. We're not in a canceled. I guess they were going to Do Son of Woodstock or something like that this summer, and I guess for whatever reason they didn't get it off the ground. But but here, you know, every year we have a great summer because our summers ten minutes long, and we like to cram as much life into it as we can. So you know last year we were the number two amphitheater in a world this year. I think based on the schedule will probably be number one in the world. Again, we we were for like nineteen years in a row back in the old in the old days. And and with Seger doing six shows and kid rock doing four shows and Florida Georgia line and Jason aldean doing multiple shows in more than half of them are going to sell out. I mean, it just stands to be one of the one of the great summers that we've had. So if the weather cooperates, I hear the sun may shine at some point. And when it does we're going to have a heck of a night. Yeah. Now now, we're all these going to be we, you know, we've. Got them all over the the beauty of this company that we put together three one three. It's sort of a blend of Palestine which were DT the Michigan lateral amphitheater at freedom hill and Middlebrook along with commerical park in the concerts. We do there, and the fact cedar and the Little Caesars arena, it's really one stop shopping for the artist. And so when when they call and say, you know, we're interested in coming. Our response can be we'll where do you wanna play because at this stage of your career? You know, maybe you're ready for metabolic maybe wanna play in the FOX and doing acoustic set maybe you want to play DT or maybe play this building because it's a bigger house. And and so whatever you want, but we've got it here bigness small, and that's why we're able to get you know, so many different accents. So as a summer starts will be doing probably one hundred twenty shows in all those venues in about one hundred and twenty days. So, you know, they'll be something out there for everybody. And it always interesting because you look at the schedule and you see. All these shows and didn't go through me. I don't wanna see that. I don't wanna see that. I don't wanna see that. That's fine. We we've got such a variety of shows if everybody can just find six or seven they'd like to see it's going to be a great summer to maybe I like this one. Maybe you like that one. That's perfect. Yeah. Well, I didn't realize that you are involved in all of those. Yeah. It's a it's a very interesting thing because it can be stop shopping not only for the artist. But even if you wanna come see a show, so what's going on this summer? Well, you know, ninety percent of your concerts or going on one of those venues. So you go to our website at three one three presents dot com. And they're all there, and you can find the ones that.

"Meanwhile, one law firm noted that they've seen the number of enquiries double around this time and then in late January. It just kinda starts to taper off. They said over the last two or three years. They've also noticed that people even inquire just a little bit early between Christmas and new year, and then pull the trigger on that first Monday for whatever happened to your dad just had to go do some. Roadwork three or four weeks up some hoax. Yeah. We're taking a break. Yeah. It's interesting. I'm trying to think I'd be curious to find out in what states such as California's a bad state to get divorced. And if you have a couple of houses or some money, and so I think guys tend not cheaper to keep her to get divorced. You get more square footage. You go to your side load up your show being the man cave in the basement with my tvos tell all bring the blue apron, hypothetically, I'm wondering in places like Florida, which might be a little more hospitable. Two divorces for people of means. I'd like to know it's now you you you understand off just by asking the question. It's probably higher percentage of people doing it. And places where it's easier to save more money, or whatever it is. But I. Curious in a certain tax bracket, you know, those who make two hundred and fifty grand a year or more or whatever that Mason Dixon line is in states. What state is considered the friendliest to divorce, and what state is considered the leash rang like California. I've known guys got divorced where like there. I knew a guy. He married. His second wife his second wife never worked. She just took like acting classes. She ended up cheating on him. She ended up announcing that she wanted the divorce. He was devastated. And then announce you can move out of the condo. And she'll just live there, and you can despair eighteen grand a month, or whatever it is the room. And it's like, wow. That seems weird because he wanted to stay married, and he was cheating and he owned the condo before he met her. But okay, I do not understand. Maybe I'm naive. And I trust me. I'm a huge champion of women. I am one. And of course, they wanna see women succeed enough. I know three men in my life that have gotten so hosed by this no fault state that it breaks, my heart. I cannot believe what they've been put through. Also, I scream about unintended consequences. I talk about rent control. And I know a guy's got a place on ocean boulevard is five hundred bucks a month, and he'll never own a home because I somebody subsidize this place in why would ever move away from the ocean? I would argue that kind of policies crate actions, and if you're looking for ladies to be at their best telling them anytime, you get pissed off at this dude, just tell him to pack it in and he can move down to the high hotel, and you can stay five thousand square feet, and he'll send you checked. It's going to create a certain element of let him handle it. Like, if you I don't think. Think it's conscious. It's just like if somebody said to you. Here's here the terms you live in this house. You do what you want if the shit ever goes down. You're not moving they'll move out. And then they'll just send you checks ever little less incentive to just be on your game. Yeah. I would say pre little complacency. It's sort of like the rules help the offensive receiver offensive back and just say, I may be naive. But there's us. S seven hundred dollars for a fake strip. I'm just saying I mean, men that are very close to my life have affected by. And I honestly believe the the the the the counter people in these situations are deplorable and discussed it should never have had to go through this California worse DC's the best that's making some policies over there. I guess was going to be can I see if the second because it's so easy to get married. I assumed it would have been Nevada. It's got to be top five or ten what I'm saying. Is this back to my motivation unintended consequences the post office versus UPS UPS guys. Pull up in those trucks, pulling e break or diving out of the truck doing shoulder role while the cars coasting the truck cozing this up and run they run..
