"That by the with fantastic. <Speech_Male> I mean you <Speech_Male> can can you kind of translate <Speech_Male> because <Speech_Male> For example <Speech_Male> cozma. Dan has a <Speech_Male> certain way of building <Speech_Male> up. Which is very <Speech_Male> similar philosophy <Speech_Male> to the new <Speech_Male> product <Speech_Male> ceramics gio <Speech_Male> from dense. <Speech_Male> So <Speech_Male> if <SpeakerChange> you ha- <Speech_Male> if i told it with <Speech_Male> then you could <Speech_Male> translate that <Speech_Male> to the dense play very very <Speech_Male> easily <Speech_Male> similarly. <Speech_Male> I'm using <Speech_Male> some of products <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> And they <Speech_Male> build up. Technique <Speech_Male> is very <Speech_Male> very similar to for <Speech_Male> example <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Three <Speech_Male> am phil tech <Speech_Male> very similar. <Speech_Male> So they'll or dc <Speech_Male> would also <Speech_Male> be <Speech_Male> broader and genial would <Speech_Male> also be a <SpeakerChange> similar build <Speech_Male> up technique. <Speech_Male> So <Speech_Male> yeah it's <Speech_Male> at the end <Speech_Male> of it. At the end of the three <Speech_Male> days you'll be able <Speech_Male> to go home <Speech_Male> and do <Speech_Male> all <Speech_Male> of those exercises <Speech_Male> with products. You already <Speech_Male> have oil. <Speech_Male> You may decide <Speech_Male> that okay. <Speech_Male> I like this way of doing <Speech_Male> it differently. I'll throw <Speech_Male> out the products or <Speech_Male> use them. Op <Speech_Male> an embarrassment <Speech_Male> to a different way of <Speech_Male> doing it. So it's <Speech_Male> it's it's <Speech_Male> more of philosophy <Silence> course <SpeakerChange> in that way. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> I love that actually <Speech_Male> because it <Speech_Male> isn't you know don't get <Speech_Male> me wrong. I think <Speech_Male> jason <Speech_Male> and i <Speech_Male> met you. <Speech_Male> It literally started <Speech_Male> the podcast because <Speech_Male> because we <Speech_Male> met at a cosmetic course <Speech_Male> so clearly. I mean <Speech_Male> i have. I have some affection <Speech_Male> for the way they do things <Speech_Male> but it is nice to be able to <Speech_Male> to show lots <Speech_Male> of because you know what <Speech_Male> there's a lot of good <Speech_Male> materials out there so it's <Speech_Male> saying you know there there's <Speech_Male> one material do this is <Speech_Male> is a little crazy so i kinda <Speech_Male> love that and i'm looking at <Speech_Male> it right now. I'm looking at the website. <Speech_Male> The dates <Speech_Male> or september nineteen <Speech_Male> nineteen th through <Speech_Male> the twenty first <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> So it's it's <Speech_Male> in scottsdale <Speech_Male> and it's <Speech_Male> I mean i'll call put a <Speech_Male> link to the <SpeakerChange> show in the <Speech_Male> show notes of the course. <Speech_Male> The <Speech_Male> then <SpeakerChange> i think <Speech_Male> i <Speech_Male> honestly. The weather's <Speech_Male> pretty much always <SpeakerChange> getting <Speech_Male> the elvis <Speech_Male> july. <Speech_Male> I think <SpeakerChange> sometimes <Speech_Male> it. Yeah <Speech_Male> no no. That's right <Speech_Male> well. And so the <Speech_Male> in. Unless <Speech_Male> i'm gonna invite you <Speech_Male> into the very dental facebook <Speech_Male> group too so if <Speech_Male> people have questions i can kind of <Speech_Male> hitch up there. I'm <Speech_Male> curious though that like <Speech_Male> i. It'll be interesting <Speech_Male> to see what the travel recommendations <Speech_Male> and all that <Speech_Male> stuff happened.

And and Frank speier showed off his insane vinyl collection and his is insane audio. Set up in at how to do it. Yeah yeah i mean it's like like it was really interesting Way to kind of make these people put these people in a different contexts that you're used to seeing them in which i kinda kinda love jack. Hindsight predict he had he did where i mean. He did Breakfast so yeah. He did breakfast too. I saw that what else in one of the ones that i thought was interesting was i want to say did greg and jill do something together they did. They did exercise. Which high academic smoothie agreed said. Oh yeah that's what it was. It was the smooth told me. He told me it tastes nice. Okay yeah probably better out current i was gonna say i'll take i'll take your word for it and then The botchy ball which was kind of funny. So bob bob bob winded did botchy bus. I mean like it was. It was interesting to show what these people are like outside of their elmo. Darren's was my favorite. Because he did karate kid and just like the most daring thing ever like. I was well isn't it. Yeah the the only thing that would have surprised me last would be like if he'd been rock climbing with his son. That would have been the more. The more darren thing but like i love. I love that. Because all these people that i really enjoy tate listening to in in in kind of knowing i like knowing more about them but it is like it says interesting because we both have teenage kids. Don't we so if we tried to do something with our kids..

And i'm gonna keep this pretty short. I could talk for hours about this. But i want to start with a story Sometimes when we enter relationship we feel the need to tell someone how we really feel because maybe we have been too scared to win. Felt safe enough to A didn't go well next time we told the truth and we wait until the end and then we drop a bomb in. Someone's lying. I call it throwing a grenade behind your wall right so my story of this. I've done this many times in my life. But there's one poignant story back. When i was outward bound instructor excuse me training to be an outward bound instructor. Thirty day alpine mountaineering and rock climbing course here in colorado. I live in colorado at the time. And i wanted to become an outward bound instructor while you had to go through this thirty day course to become an instructor and it was very rigorous right pretty intense and it was me and six other students and two instructors a male instructor female instructor and by and large the instructors awesome and they really taught me. I already knew a lot about nature in the mountains and climbing. But actually the female instructor told me i was setting my climbing gear in wrong in the cracks which pissed me off. Hose initially defensive but she was right. She was spot on. She actually safer for me regardless. I had a little bit of a personality clash with this woman. I was difficult..

"Key ride home for monday. February twenty-second twenty twenty one. I'm jackson bird. Scientists have tapped deeper into the depths of our dreams by achieving two way communication with lucid dreamers. Why why were there. So many serial killers between nineteen seventy in two thousand and what stopped them and space is getting more diverse in more ways than one. Here are some of the cool things from the news today. "Scientists have breached a whole new level of the dreamworld. They've managed to communicate with people while they're dreaming and not just the one way communication. You may have with someone who is sleep talking. But two way communication the awake scientists would ask these sleeping subjects questions and they were able to respond without waking up. These results were published last week in the journal. Current biology and already aired in a segment on pbs. And one thing giving this particular paper a lot of credence is that it's actually the work of four different teams from four different countries who initially conducted independent studies before finding out about each other and joining forces in total. They brought together thirty six volunteers across fifty seven experiments and trained people with varying amounts of success on lucid dreaming. That is dreaming where you're aware of dreaming. That's cool thing that some people train themselves to do either for fun or with various conditions. Some of the volunteers already had experience with lucid dreaming. But not all of them quoting vice. The researchers verified that participants had entered rim sleep by placing electrodes next to their eyes on their scalps and on their chins by measuring activities such as brainwaves eyeball movements. Sleep experts can determine if a person has entered this deep sleep states. Some of the participants were then asked to confirm that they were in a dream with a pre-arranged ocular response in which they moved. There is in a specific left. Right pattern these icicles. Along with facial contortions were used as a means of communication during the sleep sessions for instance the researchers asked a nineteen year old american participant to subtract six from eight while he was in a lucid dream and he correctly signaled the answer to with two movements from left to right and asked again. He repeated the correct answer. Roughly eighteen percent of the trials resulted in this level of clear and accurate communication from the dreamer. Seventeen percent produced indecipherable answers. Three percent ended with incorrect responses and sixty percent did not provoke a response at all and quotes and from gizmodo quote win. The volunteers were asked about their experiences. Some reported being able to remember the pre dream instructions. They had received an attempted to carry them out. Some also reported hearing the questions they got while in the dream although not always in the same ways and some reported hearing words that clearly felt like they were coming from outside their current reality while others said it felt like they were hearing them through radio or other form of communication within the dream but there are still times when people couldn't clearly recall what had happened. Were win the questions. They said they received in the dream. Didn't match the questions. They had actually gotten and quotes is also worth noting. It was a pretty small sample size. But one of the study's authors can polar points out that the fact that those results came from multiple different methods employed by multiple teams around the world indicates. It's not an isolated phenomenon calling this interactive dreaming polar says they're working on expanding in a few ways they want to be able to run the experiments in people's homes where subjects would be more comfortable and maybe using existing smartphone app that teaches people how to lucid dream. All the main aim of the research is simply understanding the mysteries of dreaming a bit more. They're also some potential practical applications. Blake helping people with breaking habits problem solving having therapeutic benefits if you want to dive deeper put a link to the pbs segment which touches on a few other dreams studies as well in the show notes.

"It's a way to love yourself better. So what kind of person do you WANNA get. I can tell you who I always hired. I always hired someone. Someone that I- overpaid so that I could get the best help even when I didn't really have the money to pay but I always made money at work the minute I did it. What if he gave it a really big budget? Could you get someone someone who had wrapped their entire schedule around yours and your husband's schedule which is very full. Someone who could work maybe a fifty hour week and they could work hours on the weekend. Maybe every Saturday morning or every Sunday afternoon they come in and give you and your husband breaks go out for a Brunch and actually enjoy each other's company without worrying about the kids. Could you get someone flexible enough of you. Overpaid them yeah. If I ever pay them sure yeah let me tell you something I could tell speaking with you. You're going to be a top age. I just could smell a great agent. Oh mile away okay. Lakes assume you'll always make a great living and let's assume you always worry about it because that's the other mark of a great agent. They never really think ever going to be great every year. So let's assume you could believe when I say you're going to be a great age and you're GonNa make a lot of money. What about going really way out to get a fun? Nominal person to worked for you as an administrator a scheduler someone who could shop for the food when your kids are at school someone could arrange somehow to get a good meal and you table when you come home at night so everybody eats well. My only concern is I feel bad. If I'm not with my kids over that no no you're gonna be with your kids. Of course you live there they all live with you. You're going to be with your children but when you with your children with edit help you're gonNa love them twice as much sim see relaxed. Mom they're not gonNA feel the stress. Yes they're not gonNA feel the guilt the not gonNa feel the overindulgent because he's not there enough to know you've arrange to take care of them in a beautiful fashion with the the right assistant. You're still the MOM. You're still as chief executive officer at home just like you're at work but now you have someone who works for you. You job is to make you happy and your kids happy and your husband happy but you know it's in the ways guilt. Yeah it is majorly I have. I have a lot of gopher everything why I don't know I think it's because I'm southeast Southeast Asian. That's just the way we are really have a great mom who who stayed at home to raise US and she helped my dad at work and my dad was a CEO of his own a business and he was very successful and she just managed to do it all. We always have live in help. Though I mean she was always in the car running around with us and then you know she always set the table and dad would show up with random people all the time for his clients overseas amazing. I grew up in a house. Where like women just kind of did it all? I expect myself to do it all but your mother didn't do it. All shows had helped. That is a good point. Yeah she did not only did she always have help but you just sang her praises. Yeah she's a great mom. Don't you say she scraper. I suspect suspect. You're a phenomenal. Mom No doubt my my. I suspect you're phenomenal businesswoman. To which you mother was in her own style in our own time under the wing of your dad or supporting go to make sure he flew high. She's supporter kids. You made him fly. My Dad always says the reason I am where I am this because I had your mom with every step of the way and you as a child I thought my mom was terrific. She's a great role model. Yeah she's amazing okay. You need better help case. They're just go out and splurge let's say if I'm worried about my business like not doing well one year. I don't. I shouldn't just cut back on the help. I just put my head down and just do my work and get the help any way to support me. Let me tell you something cease the the reason I know you'll always do ellen. Business and ops you know real estate goes up and down right. Among all the years. My top sales people always went up no matter what was going on. And guess what trait shared in common every January. They rushed into. My office petrified that they'd never have another good year. How I mean this is my best year and I'm worried about next already? Okay we'll Kiswah. Let me interpret the real language of that back to you. That simply means that you will always do. Well now. I could tell you that are from now until the cows come in and you will not believe me cause us to sing that to my agents every day of my life and they never believe me but I I can tell you as someone who made their living managing people like you and getting the best out of them and seeing them fly. You will always be a top agent if you stop. Stop being a top age and you could cut back at home but trust me. You'll never cut back home. Chess go and splurge and get yourself the right help. If you don't deserve the absolute best help help I ask you who does thanks. I hear that thank you. I set you free. You better do it. Well and how do I know.

"You don't schedule your own time. The client does that for you and so you have to really be for those of listeners. That aren't in business. Is You really at their Beck and call if you want to be successful in real estate when the client need you. That's when you work okay. It's one of the worst businesses in the world for raising children in my opinion even though so many women get drawn into the business because they think off flexibility and Salah more time with my kids. That's true that you could schedule your time to go to a game. Aim would do this. Whatever and you're in charge of your time because you're an independent contractor? You're in effect in business for yourself. But what's not true at all. Is that any of view. Time is your own time because in reality urine reactive business reacting to what people's needs are I can't see it then can I see here. You negotiate the deal. You might want a negotiated shaded tomorrow but you can't because it got to be negotiate right now you lose a deal right. Let's assume that you're ever going to be in charge of your business because the nature of your business businesses that the client is in charge. And you have to react if you thought you could never be in charge of your business. What kind of help would you actually hire for yourself? What happens on Saturday in Sundays? You don't have showings on Saturdays and Sundays. No idea my have been from though so I can work okay. So you're exhausted husband. WHO's in the investment banking field? which is a all in in kind of a business comes home and he's probably the ideal father with your kids on weekends because he's well rested and really wants to play with them and schedule activities? I bet that is perfect. Perfect he's happy to be with the kids but he get tired and I get tired so I would suggest to you to start off with you. Need a lot more help than you think you need. And that is the key. Peter Happiness Juggling work and kids number one. You can afford it. If you're doing well in your business is something about spending money on the right help taking that leap of faith that makes you business grow. I've never seen an exception to that rule overpay for something so that you really sure it up and your business grows I. I can't even explain the logic of that. But I managed thousand sales people at any given time in my business spilling it and I can tell you. I've never seen exception so consider me the expert so the question question is what's the dream people or person you want working with you to help you manage your family and your business. Do you have help at work. Do you have an assistant assistant. No No I. Don't I do it all myself. Let's talk about your home. I Hey I believe you should have a full time person working for you and make the hours right after the kids come home from school maybe even before they go to school. That's an issue getting them out of school. What you should have as many more hours available to you and I think it it should include weekends I really do and I think it should not only include minding the children but being totally in charge of the child schedule so that when the weekend comes? Something's already already scheduled and the person is available to take your kids there. If your husband just doesn't want to do it in the morning. I have found that. If you're not totally exhausted as a parent you become a wonderful parent so many people are feeling guilty. Not being enough at work not being enough at the kids stop being of a wife dump enough of a husband..

"And they're people that are older that I work with with and they know how to do these things like if I do maybe this and maybe they can think about me and be like. Hey you wanna come over and teach you how to make this for dinner so you can make it not get it all right. There's a seat of a good idea there. I would suggest that you start being very direct. Okay but still hold back on this inordinate amount of giving that you're doing is impossible because no one can measure up even if they could teach you how to play Pogo. They not gonNA teach as well as you just gave them. This unrealistic an unspoken expectations never leaves friendship. Okay so try this on you kind to someone. Okay you want to pick you up a couple of coffee on the way in once just once. Don't make it a habit because now you the coffee supplier okay. Now you might be thinking. Oh I wonder if some more for me coffee more forget. That thought people think that way people aren't that perfect okay. But you're looking at that pers. You you brought the coffee for you handle the coffee and say you know what I was thinking about last night. I know you play poker. If you had some time the next few weeks I would love to have an hour lesson to learn how to play poker which you have time for that. Here's you coffee. I wish to God I knew how to boil an egg not a boiler. I had a boiling. Could you explain to me how to boil an egg so I don't overcook get you give a little thing. They give a little thing back. It's even Steven. That's friendship is that's the beginning of the seedling of growing the little baby plant into something. That's it's really beautiful but I think you'd assume that they're going to do it on their own and think up. The equal solution is totally unrealistic. And you're going to repeat this pattern again and again and again so new homework assignment. What I want you to do is thinking tiny tiny little increments? A Cup of coffee is okay bring home. Dinner Ain't no good on your next friendship that you want to build. Give little tiny nugget and then speak your mind. Maybe not that moment try that. Can you do that for three months without doing any inordinate amounts of giving indefinitely dry. Never had like with either to me. I'm not saying it too. I'm suggesting a solution. The solution to your problem. You're to commit now but what I don't WanNa hear is you'll try people who say they try in anything I found never succeed. It's people who say okay. Yeah I promise I will. Those people make a change. Are you ready to say that or you want to think about that and let me know later. That's okay they will do it. Okay Eh I want you to keep us a report card in yourself for the next ninety days get a wall calendar. Not In your phone something you could see when you come home at night. And you put a star Dr or check or okay. In every day you actually succeeded in that. You have to be accountable to yourself. It's going to be a hard habit for you to change. Your very nature is in the lousy habit of over forgiving annual. Never have a friend that way. Get your calendar. Only ninety days and believe me you'll be surprised people actually like you without all the other ship. Okay Gate okay. Thanks for calling helped a lot of people. Thank you appreciate a good luck given by. Hi Barbara how are you. It's a see some calling from New York City. I'm calling because I'm having a hard time. I'm juggling kids work school just any tips and advice that you can give me as to what to focus on that I still can stay on top of my career without without losing out on being president of the parent. That would be great. Thank you so you really asking. I would think a life skills advice more than your career advice. It's how many children do you have these. I only have two. I'll only have to. What do you mean only have two? That's a lot of work. How old are they? They're seven and five. Oh boy my gosh rush. That's a lot of work to. I was hoping you're going to say seventeen. Eighteen the driving me nuts and I was GONNA say. Don't worry about it old all be over soon. Now we're still in the beginning of it God humanity. Do you have a spouse. Do you have a partner. Yes I am married to a man who works in finance that we live in New York City and he works at a hedge fund actually so he is not available really to help me during the week so it really is me and then of course when I hire sitters and help you stop to manage. It's not like you just hire someone and then you're not involved. Yes let me you start right there. What do you have right now in the area of people helping you? You have two kids that go to school every day. They're both in school. I guess right. Yes they're both They boys or girls. I have have a daughter who's seven his son. WHO's five so your kids going to school every day and you have some help to have someone who works for you many hours every day of the week? What's the situation there? I had to people who alternated days. Who worked in the afternoon evenings? I felt like the rhythm of the house was getting interrupted. Almost because we're kind of just not following my rules as much and I wanted to be anymore president. I thought maybe it was because I wasn't home as much that maybe I talked to be around more and then also I thought business would slow down this quarter but it turned out actually actually picked up quite a bit this. I'm happy but I'm right now interviewing for more help after school in the evenings so sees me with that..

"To. I love a short question. Question No L.. That needs a complicated answer. Yes let me start by asking. What's in the way of long lasting friends I take? You wouldn't be asking the question if you were having a very easy time making friends. So what's the way. Do you think I'm honestly not entirely sure I feel like a lot of it is kind of me Perhaps overextending myself to my friends. Because they knew in this world league a lot of people are so fish. Yup People like to take you can take and take within their. Don't give back. I'm not asking you know. Hey I do this then you better do this but it is nice to be appreciated. A nice we thought. Oh so I'm just wondering how I give friends like that. I think all friendship is based on a two way street. I mean who wants to be a great friend to someone if within a great friend back. Okay so you're in the position of feeling like you really putting out for your friends and they just not giving you enough back for that. Do you feel abused. I you do you mind if I ask you know. Well what is it that you do for your friends where you're thinking. I'm going to really be a good friend to them. I'm going to do this this this. What are you doing? Give me some examples. Campbell's well let me just like us. My as an example I Moved in with my roommate because we were previously co workers so we hide you know history with each other guy. I would always ask him. Hey would you like me to pick up dinner for you. Would you like for me to do this or that. You know because roommates were at home and it's mm convenient in that way you know off of work or you know. If he's at work he doesn't have to worry about this theme that he has to do later on. I work from home so you know I try to be as helpful as thank you sound more. Like a doting wife never mind helpful but you initiated the giving part of that in other words. Hey what can I do for picking up dinner for myself. I might as well pick up some. I'm for you or you weren't picking up Jenner for yourself and you're wondering what he wants to eat tonight. which is it? It's definitely both. It just depends on you know the day and whether or not I got off worked to okay so you come home. You're at home. And you've picked up his Nice Jenner. Then a what does he do. Is He's appreciative. At first and says wow what a sweetheart you are or how does that roll out in the beginning. It was like he would say thank you starved. And then one day like there was a day where I asked him if he could bring me me home some blue because he actually works at a restaurant. Oh Yeah so then. There was one day where I asked him to bring me food. If he was coming straight home then he didn't erupt into an argument and things changed. And I was like. If you're like my friend like the way you say that you are then we wouldn't have got into. When are you meant literally over dinner? And that's why I'm like. I don't WanNa do this now. Going forward in my life I want to figure out what kind of I need to have in my circle or how to maintain those friends make me be a better person and put me in a positive Spot 'cause I always just want to always do better for people people don't always use for me. You know yeah it sounds that way and I'm GonNa Leave your roommate to the side just for a minute. Will Park them on your bookshelf there at home. But I want to ask you this. There's been a pattern you've had other friends not necessarily roommates people you've worked with. That went nowhere or landed in an ending or a bad spot. Because you are very giving and generous of yourself in your time yes like I literally invited someone to live with me. And then she ended up stealing from you saw. Wow I consider myself very giving person. Yeah and I've gone through a lot in my life. That's why I try to be giving. I always put good into the world even though it doesn't seem like it are always have people's best intentions at heart and that's why I'm like okay. We'll I know uh-huh everyone's mind but I'm like how do I see those factories in future friends or potential friends in the future and you'd never been able to hook into a friendship or even a potential official friendship where the other person was a giving loving generous person to begin with and then it went awry. You are always the giver initially. You've never I've been on the opposite side of that equation. I don't think it's too late the standard that I normally do like people say I go above and beyond and I'm like that's fine like obviously my standards Different different than yours. I wouldn't expect to do what I did for them. Like for me to be appreciated in be thought. Oh just say even think you or just to say hey look. It's been awhile since we've been out to dinner. They just even having people invite me out. Two things would be nice. Yes yes how do I get these Some Leonard Khalid Noel. The one way street the gear that has always giving. You're just like you know what I'm a nice person and I'm going to be very nice to you and that's where the relationship hip starts. That's your starting point right every time. You're the giver. Yes I like to listen to people and I'm like okay nine like to be girl okay. This is what you need. Thank you have kids or if you just escaped an abusive relationship L. B. That era. But it's like it's not reciprocated. So when it's not reciprocated over and over again with these different potential friendships that you are hopeful about. When you're by yourself after the fact are you angry yes uh-huh yeah? How angry I you I get angry but I don't do anything I know? I don't do anything because I always thought like okay. We'll if they really wanted to put in the effort and they would. They wouldn't be making excuses and I just let go and I'm like it's not worth it. Well you try to let it go new move on but you move on with your pot of anger from that list. Attempted Friendship Right few sit with anger and don't act on it. Don't bill something on it. Make an improvement on it. What happens is it always winds up in a puddle? Coal Sadness and sadness a- turns into self anger and self anger is a tear down. It's what will make you feel really lousy about yourself even though you're the perfect angel all right so let's see what we could Figure out here her K.. I've one other background question for you. What happened at home when you were a kid? My Mom She was a single mom. She I was very giving but she also likes foiled me like materialistically and I think that's also something else that kind of injuries me me I. I don't have my nose up in the air and like if you don't have a name name peg everyone's pay these are different trust me. That's that's why I try to be giving because I know you know everything that's materialistic. We obviously can't take it with US okay. Doesn't sound like you are the type of person that values that I like it for me. Anybody else link. Oh you don't have this. What's wrong with you and some people are like that? It's ridiculous. Yeah I I know from that like my mom was always giving in as well because my mom works two jobs to support me no but she also had friends that were also you know single moms and she did have like Later on my Stepdad. When I was a teenager but I would say yes? My mom was very giving. My grandmother was also very giving but not really towards my family. I'm always focus on other things linked to the church or to so and so but not really focused on me and my mom okay. See Grandmother was greedy. Eighty with you and her own daughter but she was generous to other people. And how about your mom. She seems like she was very giving. And loving to you beyond the material beyond providing for you well while she worked two jobs wish you also generous in her emotional support of you her expression of love. That's where I think it's very fuzzy. Couple months ago she got mad at for blocking her on instagram. And I'm like all mom you say whatever you want about my skin and my skin is sensitive. It scars easily. It was like I can't even technically say whatever I want to people on instagram. That aren't my family like I can cut out or whatever I can't really cuss out my own mom. Yeah Yeah you you can go. Look Oh look but you can't comment you can't say anything but her just even critiquing me about like something like that social media like. Why are you getting upset? Said about social media. Yeah most kids from what I see. Don't want their parents nosing around in their social media what seems to be public space but different when you have a parent I say that's pretty normal on your. I'm twenty five. My mom was getting mad. That's what I was like. Okay this is a little ridiculous okay. I'm GONNA take a stab at it. Okay what what if I said to. You learned your means of expressing love August just playing a generosity which is a version of love is not even to a stranger its version Asian of love. What if I said You learned your version of love very much from your mother? She was the adult in your life and version of love was to really provide for you and spoil spoil you as you said in your words. Whatever spoiling means so subjective right but she really provided for you and gave you a lot of stuff for whatever but in the area of emotional support and deep understanding and like a tie an emotional tie to your mother that she wasn't as good in that area she wasn't providing stuff off? Would you say that's correct. Yeah Yeah Okay. I'M GONNA say a couple of things to a number one Let yourself off the hook a little bit. I think you have to be a little easier on yourself off because you only had one role model. That was your mother. And you're doing a damn good job of imitating her way of loving. At least it's love. You're not a a selfish pitchy type girl who says well I hate the world. I'm not even extending a hand. I mean I'd rather have your problem that have the opposite right but nonetheless it's a problem. Okay what do you say. Now that you're twenty five. You could design for yourself a new way of loving because I think the way you're loving people now are expressing affection in hopes of getting getting into a loving compassionate friendship which is what we all crave. I mean what's life worth living if you don't have friends family around you to hug you and love you and give to you and it's a give even take that's the juice of life which is what you're longing for. What if you held back giving when dry? It's almost like being alchoholic for three months. And I thank you might find. You have a lot more to give to sound to me like you would make someone a very good friend but I think what you're doing is you're creating the problem. You're creating the problem by overwhelming Wyoming. The people around you with how wonderful you are and you know what that does to the other side it makes anyone feel less than how could they possibly be an even friend. And when you're indulging them with whatever you're indulging them with and now quietly there's an agreement there between friends at the other guy's got a equally give back. I wouldn't want to be on the other side of that friendship the way you've designed it to date so I think my best advice to you know L. and you are one person experiencing this and and believe me. There's another thirty people listening and say I'm doing the same thing. This is just my new version of it okay. What if you started as simplify you? Wish for friendship to what friendship is all about. which is one guy gives? The other guy takes one guy takes the other guy gives but it's always even even sometimes you have to go above me on. But what if she just really went on Sabbatical for three months and tried that on and call me back. Let me know how you doing. I think you might discover how rich you are. How much you have to give given a meaningful way? The friendships get based on without the other. Trappings of going above and beyond. What do you think I understand what you're saying but my whole thing is i? I wouldn't want you to do what I do for you. Because that's just how I think of you like if you're saying like oh well my kids my little pony like maybe I could stop by in the mall. If I'm everything get the daughter or the child like my little pony something but if they wanted to think about me than they would listen to the conversations that we've had before because I tell people like I don't really know how to cook. I struggling in the kitchen so they might offer their help on cooking. Yeah Yeah that's what I'm saying like teach me to cook or teach me how to like play poker. There are lots of things that I WANNA learn how to do..
