Dinesh D’Souza Explains Partnership With Salem Media Over '2000 Mules'

"And we've never really partnered like this. Talk a little bit about the importance of your team partnering with our team for 2000 mules. Well, first of all, I think it's to the great credit of Salem as a company. I mean, it's a public company to take on a topic like this that has so many minefields and so many risks, I think is a testament to the great courage of ALM in stepping behind this. The second thing that's kind of funny, Mike that I think you'll appreciate, as you know, Salem hosts are not of one mind on this issue. There was a lot of variety of points of view. Perhaps Eric metaxas and gorka leaning more to the idea of, yeah, that was stolen election, but certainly Dennis prager and Charlie Kirk and Larry elder were not on that same page. And when Salem first suggested to me the idea of putting the hosts in the movie, I wasn't quite sure how that would work. And then I got the idea of kind of bringing them together, telling them nothing about the movie, just talking about what they thought originally, then showing them the evidence and recording their spontaneous reaction. I knew they'd have a lot of intelligent questions, and I thought, well, those are going to be the questions on the mind of the audience. And then we'll sum up by asking them their conclusions. So it worked beautifully essentially what we did is we took this Salem host and made them part of the plot of the movie.

Hunter Biden Reportedly Earned $11M From Foreign Business Deals

"NBC. Analysis of Hunter Biden's hard drive proves $11 million in payments from China. And what are those two stories have to do with one another? You're trying to tell me that NBC would send a bunch of reporters to look through Hunter Biden's laptop to create a negative headline. If Democrats were doing super well right now, remember the entire probe criminally into Hunter Biden is nakedly political for the sole and intended purpose and fact to try to make Joe Biden removable. Now Joe Biden does have an insurance policy. Joe Biden's handlers were very smart in one way. You might say Charlie, what is that insurance policy? The insurance policy is not like the Peter struck stroke smirk or the Lisa page lover from the FBI. None of the insurance policy is that they decided to pick an even more unpopular person to become vice president. Which is if the regime wants to remove Joe Biden assail boy, we got to deal with the that's not good. The Biden team realized that the only thing less popular than Joe Biden. So they got a decision to make, they say, well, at least we can control Biden because hunter did crimes all across the world. NBC News, Hunter Biden's hard drive shows he his firm earned $11 million from 2013 to 2018. This is a common technique that is executed by deep state Democrats against politicians they don't like. Andrew Cuomo fell victim to this, Jesse Jackson junior fell coma to this. Fell victim to this. Rod Blagojevich fell victim to this. It is a common technique, which is to use all of the previously rumored criminal activity of a Democrat, bring it to the surface to try to get that Democrat to heal or to foose. Dog term I used yesterday to obey, and if they become politically un useful, which we just are showing their Joe Biden is so unpopular, you have a means of removing him or a means of making sure that he does not run for office.

How the Women's Soccer Deal Favors Women Over Men

"The women's soccer is the U.S. soccer federation announced that men's and women's teams will be paid equally. And I just want to throw out some facts for you guys because we live in a world of delusion. And to think that you can not add equal value, get the same amount of money. Let me read from a breitbart article. It says, while the agreement is being called equal pay, the deal actually heavily favors the women. Women's soccer has far fewer fans, both watching on TV and going to the stadiums, obviously. The 2019 Women's World Cup for sure reached off a certain, for instance, let me say it that way. I reached a record high of 1.2 or 1.12 billion viewers across the world. And I know a lot of people that are listening are probably saying, man, that's a lot of you is 1.2 or 1.12 billion viewers across the world. But mind you, the man on the other hand had 3.5 billion viewers across the world and they earned $6 billion of profit. The earn and disparity is nothing new because, for example, in 2010, men's cup earned $4 billion in revenue, but the women's cup that year earned only 73 million,

The Left's A-Team Fact Checkers Emerge to Dissect '2000 Mules'

"Left is really getting desperate on 2000 mules. They started out by unleashing their fact checkers. And these are 20 and 30 somethings, and they thought, okay, yeah, we'll shut this down, you know, but of course these are people who know nothing about geo tracking. Geo tracking is not very reliable. And they don't know much about election law. And so they had these clumsy first salvos that were easily repelled. In fact, even people who had nothing to do with politics would say things like, wait a minute I lost my cell phone in some tall grass and I was able to pinpoint its exact location within inches. So this idea that you can't, all this technology doesn't work, it's like laughably absurd. And so suddenly the left realized, oh my gosh, you know, we've obviously deployed our B team and that's not gonna be enough. We need to unleash the a team. So the a team is now coming out. The a team is The New York Times, which is evidently trying to do some sort of a hip job. They haven't published it yet. Whoop Dee do. I mentioned The Washington Post, which I'll be discussing in depth tomorrow, a Philip bump in The Washington Post. There's an article in NPR, which I'll be dealing with. Tomorrow probably. But I want to talk about an article in the Atlanta journal constitution, which is focusing on Georgia. And I want to use it as a case study of just classic deception at all levels. Title of the article. Georgia investigation dispels allegations highlighted in 2000 mules. Let's just take in the title for a minute. You think you're going to get some kind of refutation of the allegation in 2000 meals that 242 mules. Have been identified through cell phone geo tracking, visiting ten or more drop boxes each and a bunch of these people are seen on video. Not all of them, but a bunch of them where the video is available. Now, the subtitle of the article ballots were legally delivered for family members. Okay? And then I started reading the article. The article it turns out is about one guy. And I'm going to read surveillance video showed a man pull up in a white SUV and insert 5 absentee ballots into a gwinnett county Dropbox. An investigation revealed he was delivering ballots for his family, which has allowed under Georgia

"So I mentioned it got to talk about it. That is the now the most successful documentary of the modern age in just over a week, it's netted 10 million gross. It has had a million downloads. It is 2000 meals. I'm in it guys full disclosure. I've got a stake in it, but it is so important. Got to ask you, this told us we were conspiracy theorists. That's nothing happened. We've got in just the areas where Greg Phillips Catherine, engelbrecht and the 2000 mules team looked. We have at least 400,000 illegal ballots that were being trafficked by NGOs by individuals who went to 27 drop boxes in 36 hours at 2 a.m. 3 a.m. what is your reaction to this? Is this a game changer? Will it affect those who are un political or in the middle potentially? What it needs to change is any state that still has a law that allows mail out ballots to everybody, ballot harvesting or any of these ways that our ballots don't go from one person's hand to the election officials directly should be outlawed. Now, I can understand mail in balloting at some level if you've got controls like states that do it well, is okay. But the states that just mail them out and these NGOs scarf them up, I got to tell you, in 2019, November, my wife and I took information to the Republican National Committee about ballot harvesting in California. Concrete concrete showed that they were doing it. They were registering people at Starbucks with addresses at dog parks, at places like this. We gave them the dataset that showed this. And they were like, that's great. We're going to go buy some 32nd attack ads.

"He is Jim Hansen, the author of winning the second Civil War allegedly without firing a shot. Jim, welcome to the studio. What a wonderful place, dude. I like it. Not enough guns though, right? You know, is there some rule about that? I think we'll find out. Well, we'll do some research that I know we caught smoke cigars. That's the biggest problem, but we'll find out about the Second Amendment. Welcome in studio, we have so much to discuss Russia, Ukraine, Finland, Sweden, the border. But let's talk about tomorrow. It's been a rather dirty primary season in the granite state, the Keystone state. Talk to us about so, granite's New Hampshire, the Keystone state of Pennsylvania. We've invited us Doctor Oz on the show while constantly told by his PR team that is very busy. We'll get back to you. We'll get back to you. He seems to be ducking and avoiding media of late. Kathy Barnett, who I've known for years when she first came on Fox when I was hosting the national security moms there on Fox and Friends. Came on Thursday when all the hubbub about her D two one fours and her military service erupted. I asked her some tough questions. She quitted herself quite well. So give us your take as somebody who understands Trump, maga, the swamp, the rhinos. What's your take on Pennsylvania? Anybody but the Democrats? I think all this infighting was not helpful. I think Oz doesn't want to come on your show because you're going to ask him why he's pals with Erdoğan. Why he voted in the last Turkish election why he hasn't renounced his citizenship and why he's not even vaguely a conservative in any meaningful way. I understand Trump like celebrities. Okay, I get it. And he figured name recognition matters. That's a reasonable thing to do. But the problem is now we've got not just a rhino. We've got, I don't even know what he is. He's a no. You know, he's a nothing. And if he wins, he may be able to do it, but I would prefer someone who's actually on

Jason Pye and Doug Talk Political Gridlock

"That when we make progress, there seems to be, especially when it comes up in an election year, the halfway point to a presidential year, you know, it's one of those things and I say this I'm jokingly, as someone who tried to be in the Senate, you know, every day there's a hundred people in the world who wake up and believe they should be president. They're all found in the United States Senate. And you know, but why is it that we seem to always especially as Republicans? And some Democrats, frankly, if you look at it, go back to this idea that the only way to solve some of these societal eels is to go to a process we know really doesn't work and cost us money. When you're talking about criminal justice system, that is just this throw away the key mentality, lock them up no matter what. You don't have a second chance. You don't have a third chance. You don't even have a first chance. If you listen to some of the rhetoric. I mean, it works to a point. It's not negative ads. I mean, they work to a point, but at a certain point in time, truth needs to prevail out. And it's really frustrating at this point in time that you're seeing this rhetoric because we know we know this rhetoric doesn't work. I mean, I flip those numbers around the other side. I look at the 85% that haven't been rearrested. Those are large numbers to say, look, this is working. As we go forward, disturbing trend though I'm seeing an election. And I saw it in my election in the Senate race. I was vilified by the cities under miss laugh where four by her team for being a defense car for actually have represented clients in our confrontational system. Wow, actually upholding the constitution shocker in that regard. What was even worse is the ads run against me. We're not even clients of mine. They were actually my partners. And had Hispanic faces. We'll continue on. Again, but that goes to the heart of this sort of scare tactic that goes on. But now we're starting to see it again. But there is some hope that it's not working. I know you're familiar with the candidates in Indiana. One had helped on criminal justice. It was three candidates in the race. The third one who had had no background at all actually ended up winning this primary. So what I thought was interesting was the two Republicans, both had legislative backgrounds. Wanted health been helpful on bail reform and other things in Indiana. The other one attacked them for that and came in a distant third. Do you see some of this with the proper discussion and political will, if you would, winning out or do we still have a life? It's really hard to say right now. And speaking, speaking more to your race, because I watched that race. And I've never hid this publicly. I voted for you in the race stuck. I actually had a hard time working in a yard too. But in your race, it was pretty interesting because of the spinning that both the loeffler team and others were trying to do because they were saying that life were saying, oh, I supported first step back. It was the prison reform and redemption act that we opposed because that was the predecessor Bill the first step. And they were hitting you on that. And it's like, there is no difference between these two bills. The first step

"Worried about that dynamic coming back to bite them. But, you know, they're interesting. They played well, You know, they played well against some good things. I know that losing three out of four to San Francisco. You'd like to have seen them get Split there, but they salvaged something, but they swept the Dodgers already this season, this with the Padres. And those are, you know, I mean, those could be The top two teams in the National League, so You know, I'm just sort of, you know, Biding my time here, let me not make any grand decisions. Even about what they should be doing at this point when there is one of the trade deadline, July 31st. Yeah. Maybe. Yeah, a long time to get almost two months. Let it play out. Yeah. You gotta let it play out and see where it is. There's no need to making decisions now, WILBON. If you can believe this as we let you go at our golf outing on Monday, I don't play golf. But I did have a golf cart and I Like a clot. I hit my head and the roof like the overhang of the golf cart trying to get in, and I had had five staples that I needed Staples into my head at the ER on Monday. Have you ever done anything as klutzy as that? No and the real telltale here, Sylvie, There is no reason for somebody who is in the sports as you are. There's no there's no possible rational explanation. Why you don't play golf. I need to play a game. Well, I'm a red ass like Waddle always likes to say, and I took it to mean I took it too seriously and would frustrate me to the point where I wasn't having fun. Nor were the other three p. Nobody want grew around that crowd, you know, so I just said When when the going gets tough, Quinn? Yeah. You don't want to be in that for someone. He starts to hit him a little writer, a little left. I mean, but everybody's been through that. So you improve your behavior, Not a chance. You know you go. I mean, that is the great thing about golf to me as you learn more about yourself. Then you learn about anything else. I mean, you do learn the game. If you're determined to get better and learn it, But you also heard about yourself and your own behavior would have to go and one can get better. You know, and so hitting your head on the cart. My God and five staples. Yeah, I mean, five staples. I mean, that's a no, No, I don't have I've never thrown a club and it bounced back up and knock my teeth out out, and I've never owned a club, though. Oh, yeah. Through clubs Early on, and You know, Sometimes you're playing with players who say good players. Who will say you know what? You don't play that much, And you're not good enough to throw a club so basically that humiliation can ground you. And then you just You realize how stupid it looks. When you see other people do it right. Makes him feel good, Though the release of just throwing your comment. Swear and I lets me go. No. You know what makes it feel good makes me feel good. Hit the damn fairway and make the putt. I mean, that's what makes it feel. Yeah, I think that's true. But if I can't do that, I want to throw a club every now and again, Michael. Great stuff. Always appreciate it. We'll talk next week. Thanks, Mike. All right, You guys sounds good. There you go. Michael Wilbon every Wednesday at five. Get him a nice cicada stew and send it out to him. Yeah, cicadas. All right, so the Bears were back on the field. They let the media in, except For one. They let the media and except for one guy, and you know him too, and we'll get you a Justin Fields update. You're listening to Waddle and Sylvia on.

"Secret. There's two teams that Aaron Involved in this and it's the Bears and the Colts. Frank Reich was the offensive coordinator Carson Wentz in his best year, and John de Filipo was the quarterbacks coach. He's with the Bears right now. So you have you have coaches on the staff that say, Oh, no, I can fix him. I could make him work, So I I grew up here. I don't think it works for a team that's just looking at being like We don't want to take a chance with Carson Wentz, the guys that have actually coached him. They seem very interested in getting her back. Last thing here, Ryan, I see if you made some debts and tweets on the fan controlled football league. What is that? I saw I saw something. I was watching some SportsCenter. Johnny Manziel had to run the big run. What exactly is this? So Yeah, I wrote about it. Last week. It Z New league that the little bit unlike the XFL, or the American Alliance of American Football, It's kind of more. It's not even like arena or indoor football, So I'm like it's more like a video game. Kind of. It's like real life. Matting is what I kind of related to when I try to tell people what. Itwas um You get to actually call the place If you create a user name and you signed into twitch, you know it's not on television. It's on the twitch platform, which is video games and you get to call the offensive plays for your team of the 14 6 week season. Games or an hour, so it's basically designed to be like a video game for that 18 to 35 audience. Richard Sherman owns the team. Marshawn Lynch off the Axler. They're all owners in this league. And Johnny Mans Elza quarterback for one of the teams, and Lynch actually suited up last night like he was going to play and made some crazy comments during the book broadcast, but he ended up not playing. Sounds pretty cool, eh, Ryan? Great stuff, man. Appreciate it. Up. Thanks for having me anything. All right, Ryan, don't leave you The post New York Post. Yeah, I saw it. I saw a bunch of stuff last night about it. And I I mean, it seems cool enough, right? I don't know. Connor, You're big. You're gonna get into this. I think I'm gonna get really into it. I'm gonna I'm gonna get my favorite team by a jersey and become a die hard fan of one of the teams. No, You're not Maybe got nothing else to do now. The football's over. Well, Vince Quinn, who does their overnights on the, uh on the weekend. He's heavily into this fan controlled football League. I gotta look into it. I don't You know, I'm a little I'm a little bit dated with twitch and things like that. So I don't know. All right, we'll come back 855 to 1 to four CBS. Say 55 to 1 to 4 to 27 Still time to get a tweet in because it 45 after coming up in a half hour re read your tweets. And I would obviously have to censor him. If you use profanity. I can't can't use bad words on the air. But it's at John Marks J O N M A. R K s media and coming up on the other side. Just Tom Brady 00. "The news interviews and analysis for the day ahead, National International and local news tomorrow on morning edition. It's here and now and let's check in now on efforts to resume sports during this pandemic. The major league baseball season is now underway, but some games involving the Miami Marlins in ST Louis Cardinals are now postponed because of the Corona virus outbreaks. Mike Pesca from here. Here now's sports analyst is here. He hosts the daily just at slate dot com and might give us an update on baseball. How How are these outbreaks with the Marlins and Cardinals affecting the season? Well, those two teams canceled games that it's doubtful they'll make them up. There was also an outbreak. I don't I want to be careful. There was also two reported Corona cases among the Philadelphia Phillies staff, but it didn't seem to spread to players or much of the team. And so the Marlins were in action as home team in Baltimore the other night last night, and the cardinal should be back in action now, But what it really was was a wake up call that baseball, which was allowing teams essentially that they're not bubbling as the other teams and other leagues are allowing teams to call its own shots as Faras protocols realized that this wasn't enough. They came out with stricter, tougher protocols governing the actions of players when they're not on the field, because, especially with the Marlins, this seemed to a night out in Atlanta seems to have given rise to the outbreak. But I do have to say when you watch the games, there was a lot of attention to 100 or so extra rules that would govern baseball this year. No high fiving, no spitting, but you watch the games. Then there's high fiving all about now. I know that high fiving in an outdoor environment is not a big spread of the virus, but it did. Underlying to me that there was a disconnect between how serious this is on paper and how serious the players were going to take it, And that's what they're finding out now with these shutdowns. Yeah, I mean, it's about perception. As viewers watch these games, Let's talk basketball. Thie n ba WN BA and the National Hockey League have all resumed their seasons. So far so good for them. So far, so very good. Now these sports Khun bubble they have fewer players of the hockey has quite a large number of players on a team. But they're playing their seasons on both coasts of Canada. The playoffs have resumed its going well in hockey, WN Ba not as many players of the N B a also going well. In the end, Bejust announced that its 350 some odd players no Corona tests since The bubble started. There were two players who came in who were positive in the quarantine, so it's going extremely well. And it's an extremely interesting season. They've tweaked the rules a little bit, too, have playing games. I think that experiment, especially as contrasted to baseball are the two opposite ends ends of the spectrum about how sports leagues cannon are handling this I want to talk with you about something else. That's having an impact, and that's the black lives matter Movement President Trump says. When players kneel during the anthem, it makes him stop watching the games or want to. Here's what Lakers star LeBron James said about that yesterday. Let's listen. The game will go on without without his eyes like Ah, consider her speak for all of us that love the game of basketball. We could care less. Mike. There's so much unusual about this year. I wonder if if this politics and sports mixing is going to play a major role in the actual presidential election. Well, I think to some extent the president would like it to be because in the past he had some wins in his cell for picking fights with Colin Kaepernick in the NFL. But things have changed so much, and this is reflected in the polling off. Even you know, suburban Americans and their attitude, White Americans and their attitudes towards black lives matter. So it seems that President Trump to get political for a second is using a play from a couple of year old playbook that will not serve him well, But beyond that, I think what LeBron saying that we will be fine without the president watching That's so true as to almost be not necessarily a stated right. It is clear that the president's a time and attention watching the MBA has almost no impact on the MBA wouldn't think the president would want to watch a sport where the players have been outfitted with New Jersey's where, instead of their names Their surnames on the back of the jerseys. You have words like black lives matter and vote and equality and liberty. This doesn't seem to be, I guess, in the wheelhouse of President Donald Trump's interest But the time I have with you, what are the prospects for professional and college football this season? Well, college football. I think it's a question of hope over experience. They're going ahead, especially the big power conferences that make a lot of money are going ahead. But players in the Pac 12 have objected. One team in major college football Yukon has opted out of the season, but they're going to try to play limited schedules and the NFL today this afternoon is the deadline for players topped out about 60 or so have I. Teams like the New England Patriots. Many of their players have opted out. Best case scenario is it's going to be a different and truncated season. Wow, so much to follow, and so much to not follow when it comes to sports. At this moment, Mike Pesca is here and now sports analysts. He hosts the daily podcast. The just at slate dot com. Mike is always.

"Evan Novi William. Thank you very much for joining us. We here each and every week speaking to the biggest brightest in the world of sports today, we are joined by any ladder, president of the TD garden. If you don't know we should say, that's the Boston arena. She is responsible for the day to day operating function of the building, one of the most active highly regarded successful, sports and entertainment venues in North America. Amy, thank you for joining us on the Bloomberg business sport show. Thank you for having me today. So the garden obviously home to both the Boston Celtics and the Boston Bruins, two of, I would imagine two of the more successful franchises, we've seen in the past twenty years in both sports. Do you just block out all of may, as I'm working? I'm putting my head down this entire month every year. Yes. So actually April through June because we're to team building. And this year there were only two team only two arenas in the country that had both teams in the playoffs. And denver. So we you me. It's not New York. Sorry. Nixon ranger fans. I it's I I'm not feeling bad right now. But so we have to be very careful about if we take on any like we did have share on a Sunday night. And the way things were coming out that could have been a game for us. And we knew when we book that show that we might have to move it, but we don't take a lot of risks having to teams that have been so successful. We have to be really careful about talent. I think sports fans realize their arenas out there that have two teams. Sometimes they're in the playoffs scheduling can be hard. I don't think they realize how hard it is talk to me. About may third and may fourth may third looking at the calendar here seven AM. You guys had northeastern graduation and that night, the Celtics played a playoff game and the following day. Saturday may fourth the Bruins and the blue jackets played game three. How do those three events within a centrally at twenty four hour span? How do you manage to put all those things together? With even worse. I'll tell you last year. We had the Celtics playoff game on Thursday night. Northeastern graduation Friday morning and Bruins Friday night, even closer proximity. So I think we have the most amazing operations team in ballgame in the country because we are such a busy building. And, you know, we are we've had some canes, we've done this before we figure out how to quickly turn it around. I'll tell you from the graduation standpoint it's actually easier for us to go to hockey than it is to basketball, but they worked at the logistics, and, you know, the leagues understand right, the leaks, and certainly an early rounds. I wouldn't say there's a ton of flexibility, but the two leave work really, well together to look to make sure they're not crossing over on dates as well. So it is it's, it's a triage, right? It's our team we have in a VP event scheduling that's all he does is deal with the leaf and, and working out these dates and times. And it's being logistically really found how much does it cost to go from basketball to, to hockey rink in terms of the labor and everything else is needed? Here comes the union. It depends. Right. If you have to do an overnight, or if you have the day. So, and it depends if it's a holiday you're doing Sunday to Monday holiday weekend. So the cost vary, but it's, you know, it's tens of thousands of dollars to change over and to change over takes about two and a half hours. So we have doubleheaders during the day after thanksgiving. We always have a double header. We usually have the Bruins at noon and the Celtics and seven thirty. We have that name, we pray for no overtime, pay for regulation win. Everyone prays. They've standing there on the sides waiting for the game. And then quickly go into to turn it over a floor. Always loved that floor as the most court in probably in the NBA. But when you have a situation like that where you have to put it on top of the ice for Bruins game, I've always wondered how come the ice did melt, if you have to do it that way. And action below the ice. It's cement, and there's all these types of coolant through it, and that's what keeps the ice cold analysis actually not very thick. Then for when you had a parquet, you actually put this black, Florida. So we keep the ice in all year. If we have a concert, we put the black sub floor down, and then put the chairs and the stays on top when you hit a parked. Hey, 'cause I sub floor and then partee and it's and it stays cold, and then we take it up, and then we flood it and clean it and get it ready for the hockey game. We prefer in the double headers to go hockey then basketball, it's just easier ice quality. You know makes makes it a better experience. We are chatting with Amy ladder, president of TD garden. By the way, you if I slip and call it fleet center or the garden. I know the sponsors aren't. But you understand right? Well, when I started it was Shaamit. And then before the building opened at flip flip to fleet center. And so we've had a number of name changes. I think what's been great as it TD recognized that the garden should be back in the name. Right. 'cause we were TD Bank north. But now the be the TD garden. So, you know, gardens should be in our name, and, and I appreciate the TD to death. But sometimes people drop the TD. We, we keep it in there. Do have you calling it a transformation because that's what we had at Madison Square Garden. I had lunch the other day, by the way with Hank Ratner who was the CEO of MSG when he ever saw that transformation. I gotta tell you. He was not the same man when that was over when it began that, that, that is a very difficult thing to talk about having no wiggle room. What are you looking at? Yes. So there's a totally different renovation than are. So now we're doing one hundred million dollar renovation because hundred thirty total because of the development. We're actually expand. Ending the building. So most people build new or they renovate. But we're taking the building out, fifty five thousand square feet in total on six different levels, and, and just, you know everything from new locker rooms to were putting what I think is going to be one of the coolest clubs in the country on the top level of the building. We're actually hanging over the edge of that top level and making a club that is, I would say for the younger generation, it's open, not dedicated CD, you know, food, that's, that's the only place in the building that you can get it craft beers really totally different environment and then down through the rest of the building. We're doing things our lend was, you know, what are the things that maybe we needed to do over the last twenty three years, what do we need today? And what are we building for the future? So it's everything from restaurants single. Use runs to more food and beverage to communal places for people to gather. It's just it's fast. It's.

"Be on two teams played extremely army. Watching the tape bowl teams. Just got after competed. But you know, we just watched the tape upstairs. You don't think there were ten calls. We thought we got felt I mean, this is out goes. Okay. That is Steve Kerr. Now. Mike, Dan, Tony on his issues with the refs. Whether we want our laws we gonna win game Tuesday. And then what are we we're gonna win Saturday? And that's just the mentality. You gotta have and that's part of the game. And I've been all over the place. So it's over I felt sorry for myself. Nobody really helped me out. I got through it. I'll be fine and don't be fought as a fairly sensible approach. I mean, you gotta get onto the game to here. But if the Commissioner if I'm the NBA hierarchy here, I'm sitting back and I'm saying, geez. What we have all these world class athletes at all these vibrant markets and incredible the Rina's, and we are thriving is a sport. And we have to focus on this every day. Yeah. I mean, I can understand the gripes. But I don't know. I think guys get lost in arguing calls more. So than obviously ever. And it seems to affect them. And that's what Damien Lou was talking about it. It starts affecting your psyche. And then you start looking for the call just for the sake of getting the call instead of playing the game. And it's and you only see this in basketball. I mean baseball you used to see it a lot of pitcher with the balls and strikes, but in you know, whatever IRA or or miss decision that manager would get upset about but replaced got rid of all the and many. Guy. You don't see it football you. I mean, you see it every now and then with the pass interference. But I mean, it's quick to go play. Play play. And you honestly, don't even think about it after that. Because it doesn't it doesn't really matter. It matters. But it doesn't really matter basketball. It seems a takeover, and especially in games that that there are so many fouls, and there's it feels like guys are staying at the at the stripe the whole time, and you know, the pace of place lows down in one of the things I I wanted to really appreciate about this. Golden State Warriors Houston Rockets series BT was how fast both of these teams play. Right. Draymond gets an inbound pass or whoever gets in about passer running up the court, right? Nobody comes up the court, you know, half speed. And so to see the whatever they had forty five thousand four technicals, and and then the ejection at the end of the game with Chris Paul. It's it's not the basketball. You wanna watch you just want to see the guys playing? Yeah. And I understand why refs have to call it if they see it. But sometimes I just want him to play. And I think the more they let them play the less. We're going to see these guys arguing a Paul. Miss calls because they're used to getting them these rest can't win. You're right. No matter what they do think about this. Let's go to the let's go to oracle the Rena. Let's fast forward, roughly, seven and a half seven hours or so and east coast. It's almost three thirty. So camp tips off right around then boom, first quarter. They're playing in in oracle rockets down one zip first second third ninth possession game. Whatever it is. James harden is up and he does the usual like you sliding into home plate feet first or third base feet first. And he's looking for the kickout and there's contact maybe not not at the hip, maybe not at the hand as we discussed. But as he's finishing his shooting motion the legs of whether it's dre amount or whomever, the lower torso interrupts or NPR space. So frayed, of course. Yeah. Now, if it's Nord, and they let them play on, and there's no call then there will be this visceral reaction on social media that the risks are furthering their incompetence. Yeah. If they do blow, the whistle. And this might even be. Worse for sexually. They will say, well, they are reacting to the big quote unquote bed or miss Coles in game one which just further cements. The fact that they were terrible in game one. Yeah. Can't win. There's nothing there's really nothing to do here. Because of the continued to complain. Let me ask you this, though, BT do you think that because social media and fans, and you know, you get these gifts it's like immediate right James harden? Second quarter takes a contested three pointer clay is closing out. He's a half of an inch off of his under his foot. So he's he's he's stepping onto them. And James harden doesn't think he gets thinks he gets fouled. He doesn't play goes on. Right. Ten seconds later already cut up. It's twitter. In seconds. And in God forbid it happen at the end of the game. And these guys go back into the locker room right there checking out there mentions, and because they're obsessed with their mentioned, and they see ten thousand probably not that many. But you know, what? I mean, they see two hundred mentions about whatever play just happened. And it's. One hundred. Yeah, you're right. I think it's probably thousands. If you're probably right, Roland, you've probably right? And so it's in their minds the entertaining once in a while, I'll do but is here for the common. But it's in their mind. They don't like recollect the game. I need to do is get in there and pick up the file guest grew the see image. Right. They get gassed up by social media. Go talk of the media. They and they put themselves in final position. Then we start talking about it. Because. Let's dissect it on a highlight shows in the evening forces debated on these shows in the morning, and it just continues throughout the day. And it's a stream of of maddening nothingness agree because it's never saw an exactly it has no impact they are not going to change the game. Right. They're not going to say, you know, what we screwed that up. Even though you miss that shot, and you should have been going. We're gonna give you three points rockets win. It's not happening. It's not happening now for sure there's a happening ever. Here's a pretty easy solution for this. They have to implement and they tweet the rules over the summer. You know, you have the rules committee with the NFL AB Trask. Our good friend was on that for years. I mean this what leagues do they they get together. Sean Payton new bubble was going to be on the show tomorrow. Sean Payton saints head goes looking forward to that. He's gonna stop by Tiki and Tierney talk about the draft, etc. He's a long time competition rules committee member. Yeah. And you know, Jeff Fisher back there. I think Jeff actually let it they convene and they try to sort out. What can we do to make our game, you know, flow, better more aesthetically pleasing less controversial writing? So they'll go through. This edit very simple, and I think that they need to find a way to implement this. If you're a shooter and you launch yourself at all even let them determine the space, whether it I mean, it's got to be more than a foot because you need at least that latitude. But it it's more than a foot if I jump up for three pointer, and I and my feet start again the rule the verticality going. Going straight up to the sky. And I finished more than a foot forward. The fouls on you. It's not a non pole. Yeah. You gotta make that a foul making an offer me an offensive foul. And and but wait Draymond green touched on this. He said, listen, I've been filed by by James harden, fouled me when he shooting three right to make that an actual rule. And if you do that, it's a great idea, which is probably why it's never going to happen. They will dissuade shooters from doing that because you can't score forty points. But he got three thousand seven minutes of the game. And guess what will slowly be radicalized? Yeah. Yeah. You're answering look, and they have to be more. Greg calling the off the foul on guys. Like James harden as many that do it. But I'm also not just the the foot. The kick outs. When he's when he's trying to land. He also he pushes off so hard. And it never gets caught. I mean, this is the one that dream on his talking about James harden pushed off Draymond then jumped up and then put his feet out underneath them. I mean based dream on me became a couple of inches Ford on this one, but he basically went vertical. And so if there was a foul it was one on the push off for James harden. And then to he's trying to kind of land under grey mind. If you know what I mean, I do know what you mean. It's a it's it's a problem, and is going to fester and grow and just gain for traction and more philosophy, and it will detract from what has been so far even though there were couple of you know, pretty lame first round series. But some poignant moments again low there with the with the way. Wave off in you know, the Celtics starting to get Kyrie a playoff Kyrie back now and rockets and the warriors game one and the nuggets moving on and been here in a while. And they win last night. I mean, NBA's poppin you can't have this nonsense. And I'm telling you if you can't be a non call. It's got to be an offensive foul. That's how you what are they always say think about this? Right. I remember one that I'll make this quick. I remember gotta had to be maybe second grade or so, and I remember I was at Yankee Stadium with my whole family. And usually my dad, and I just went to the game. But this time with my dad, and my and my mom and my sister myself and I had a little league all star game. Right. Maybe third grade coming up at a few days, and I was all hopped up on the ice cream. Lord knows what I ate there in terms of sugar. I was bouncing off every seat. I was a pain in the ass. And I was I was I was I was really wasn't I deserve to get punished. Yeah. So my dad says you're not playing in the all star game to keep this up. I went like this church. Matt I didn't vote because there was nothing. More important to me at that moment in my lifetime playing in that all star game. And think about how we always entice people or young athletes to toll the line. If you don't do this. You don't play right? And the only thing that gets in the mind of pro athletes is if you take away my minutes agreed so go I believe that one of the things I hate it. I love Brandon Jacobs because he was big because Gordon failed. But I hated him doing my job seriously. Yeah. That would that that would be eighty five yard the big monster comes in for the two yards glory that we're not sit. Well, you're right. Every sport. If you're a player you wanna play you got. I don't care people forget all they got fifty million dollars in the Bank. Doesn't matter you still want to compete because that your core. You're you're an athlete. Right. Everything else is like an answer. Larry you kinda year half half a movie starring half an actor half a rapper? But your essence is an athlete. So they gotta get this going t- next inbounds out of bounds here on Tiki and Tierney the Redskins savior. Will Dwayne Haskins half the change his number. We'll get to that story. "Two teams vying for the opportunity to win their first men's basketball national championship. So help us break. It all down. We're going to go to the shell Pennzoil performance line. Where Keenan Evans former Texas Tech star from two thousand fourteen to eighteen joins us part of last year's tech team that went to the elite aids Keenan, thanks for the time. And as you see this next step for Texas Tech. How much does it validate? What you've been a part of trying to build in Texas Tech's basketball to see them in the national championship game. The social real this is just amazing to be able to be here and be able to share them on and watch them, you know, being at the laws alot, they'd take take. When I first got there and the see the program completely turn around and goes first national championship, and you know, hopefully win it. Today's just a big they do Keenan you were in the late eight last year that lost to Villanova. What do you see differently about this team that maybe you guys didn't have working for you last year? These guys are defenses, you know, way more sound than we were is just a is it seems like a completely kind of different team. You know, they were there. They really hit their grew towards the end of the season, and they just really plan together and to believe in each other. And it's amazing to watch. You you mentioned how defensively sound they are Keenan part of that comes from at least that we're now hearing about legendary practices and defensive intensity. Was that something you experienced also with Coachman, definitely, you know? On creditor coach coach, Adam they they said the intensity and prior to stark a, but they'll they'll never let you take a day off. And they'll just, you know, push you as far as they can to get everything out to be. Talking to Keenan Evans. Former Texas Tech star in the shell Pennzoil performance line at Spain and Fitz Sarah Spain and Jason Fitz. I was thinking about this Keenan, and I want you to be honest with me don't give me the cliche answer. Is there any part of you as excited as you are for your old coach and teammates that's kind of bummed that this final four title game. Run didn't happen one year earlier. Oh, for sure I think about it. You know, all day every day just like a couple of minutes away. No being in the same situation. And you know, it's. Tough, you know, to to kind of look at it like evidence also happy form, but you know, I had I had my time. It was fun the lead a, but you know, it's amazing the two guys on I really hope they bring it hardware home. Keenan. We're talking to Keenan Evans. Former Texas Tech star twenty fourteen to eighteen on Spain and Fitz when you think about last year the elite eight this year the national championship game. Why is Texas Tech sort of snuck up on everybody last year? When you guys were really successful. The last year why they snuck up on everybody this year. Oh, no, nobody cares about nobody has ever really cared about of tech. So and even last season where we, you know, went run over ObamaCare about us. You know, the beginning of the season. So there's always good to be done underdog and keep that tip on soda, and you know, that's one of the model team in don't lose that chip. Does this does this change that in your mind? I mean making it to the national championship game. Does that and force everybody to pay more attention? I'm sure there's no force everybody putting more attention, especially, you know, coach they they see they really get to see who crispy it is and his his stuff and what he brings to the table. So that definitely, you know, change everything going forward. You're in Minneapolis right now getting ready for the game you played with a lot of these guys who are still in touch with all these guys. What's the mood like around the team is it? Hey, we're playing with house money. We weren't expected to be here or a little bit tight and nervous about tonight..

"I just it's hard for me to believe it will therefore five right now be Portland. Okay. See I don't like that matchup focus. I think they're gonna column injury. Zini back in time though. I I don't know that we know what the deal is. So so if he's out for round one, then that's unle- becomes the team. I'd wanna play. But if he's healthy for round one. I don't think it. Okay. See is anybody to guard, Lloyd, they I really feel like he could run amok in that series. And actually like the nourish Adams battle. I think merkich Adams definitely doesn't look the same. I don't think that he looked earlier in the area. He's banned up. He's played a lot of games. So over the last few years to I like what I saw. I like what I've seen from Nurkic. And I dunno. I if Portland's healthy, I think that's a dangerous for cassia pets would've ends up. What say from account revaluated a week with the new strain? So we don't know yet nor coach do you think he should just acquire for the NBA and not play college basketball, anywhere. Risk it. What of McCollum says? I know I could back to the playoffs. But this is a long term play. Typically next deal. So. Are all NBA checkpoint. Janas George hardened. Curry is still for the top five. Yokich Verson bid is going to be a great argument as this gets a little closer about two weeks from now and Embiid, the defensive metrics are great with him Yokich. The fact that that has a chance to be a one seed, and he's really the only great player on the team. It's not. But I'd still go and beat. I am I'm still split. So it's gonna be one or the other second team, the rant Lillard and Westbrook. I think we'll be second team on. The second forward spot Griffin. Lebron kawai? If quiet missing like twenty four games or something. I'm not voting for him for second team on bay. I was looking at this pistons team you love the piston. I just can't put their thirty six and thirty three can you can you name can you name their crunch time. Right. And not the crunch time. Can you name there nine man rotation right now? No, I know that I know that the other day I was watching the game. And that Luke Kennard had the best plus minus of I think anyone off the bench since January. I I think this become the story of the year. Yeah. Okay. So this is post all-star break, which is now thirteen game. Sample size minutes leaders on the pistons. Drum in Blake Griffin. Luke Canard third at twenty seven minutes a game. Reggie Jackson, Wayne Ellington. Ish myth Langston Galloway is this Ishmaelites like fourth time being on the pistons. Yeah. Bruce Brown fan maker yet then make their rotation Zaza peculiar as their tenth guy. Are you fucking kidding me? This can go forty five at thirty seven. So so l look at Blake in Blake is basically twenty four eight five every night. And is there crunch time guy? Like, I think he has to be considered for second team on a. A. And this might be the best Blake Griffin season ever. I think that one year the reserve the clippers gin, right? We're we're Paul was out for a good chunk in the middle in the play offs..

You got to sign him to a big deal. We'll see if this thing gets done by today or by next Wednesday wore by the seventeenth. We'll have the very latest as we go. Now NBA game of the night. And this was a wild one between two teams that if the season ended now would face each other in the first round Russell Westbrook in the thunder at Portland, and Sean farnum Westbrook. Had it going early. Well, he had that look in his eye. And there's some animosity there. He fed off the crown when you start seeing him rock the baby that early in the game, you know, going down that was interacting with the crowd. They were on him. He's telling them to zip. It Russell plays with an edge. And when he does he's fantast law. Here's where the animosity really dials up. Okay. Keep your eye not necessarily on the ball and CJ McCollum keep you right behind the play. You're going to see merkich go down. At this moment. You don't know why you're about to find out? Okay. Keep an eye here on the defensive rebound. It looks like Noor kitchen Westbrook at their feet tangled up that did not look like it was done on purpose. This was Russell Westbrook where they hip check Westbrook. It's a flagrant Nergal gets a technical keep that in mind Nurkic with a team third quarter. Now, thunder down one Westbrook three he thrives on the hatred from the crap he was fishing in his numbers last night as well outside of the turnover issues that he had Dane Willard though. This was a showcase of two of the most underrated guards in the NBA, Dane litter. Guler absolutely fantastic is the most underrated player in the NBA in my opinion. He was scoring fifty one last night. So we were tied. They're tied at one eleven twenty five seconds ago hall, George goes, no good. Terrence Ferguson right place right time for the pullback and bad news for get a rough night. Look at this fan. Takes the elbow right to the face. He goes down. He would get up and stay in the game. You know, fouth hold on that play whatsoever. So. Get popped in the jaw your a little salty that mishap. Yes, this is where the salt comes out just over ten seconds to go merkich fouled on the put back. George are going to get into it referees to separate the two nook. It's gets a second team. He's thrown out of the game. And here's what I thought it was basket interference. Then you have the head. But that's going to happen right there. Second technical foul that allowed Billy Donovan to somebody on the free throw line. Anybody this choice? He picks Scotla busier who hadn't attempted a free throw all season long tough spot. He misses the first he has to miss the second intentionally. Okay. It looks like Oklahoma City is going to win. No hold on. They call a foul under the basket. Now through Camino is going to go to the line. Brutal. Call anytime on a free throw line situation. There are going to be people that are going to be banging into each other that giving opportunity they hit both. That means overtime. So the thunder now inbound it didn't meet overtime because it was still three seconds to go. Russell Westbrook has a chance to be the hero. But he loses it out of bounds. Untouched. Lose it off the left hand. A coffee turnover. So now, there's two seconds left. Ken Lillard, be the hero. He's gonna get an opportunity for a half court. Heave four three four the win. Are you kidding? No, not even close. So we're going to the overtime as you spoiled thunder down to swear pulling up hitting the three he loves feeding off of the crap he was playing with such energy and such an anger in his game. And this is the thing that stood out to me watch him ship to another dear. I mean, he just drops the Hamer there, and there's nothing you can do defensively in transition to stop it wanna to win. This was for okay seat, thirty seven points for Russell..

"For straight talk. Brought to you by straight talk wireless. Best phones, best networks, no contracts and ill after we went off the air on Friday. The news broke over over the weekend of Friday Jupiter, Florida that sting operation that day spa Jupiter, Florida, and one of the names that was on that list was patriots owner Robert Kraft, Kraft and other men accused of soliciting prostitution in the Florida massage parlor are expected to be charged by prosecutors as soon as this after noon that according to a spokesman for the state attorney in Palm Beach county Florida saying on Sunday. So it has been it has been a really bizarre sort of story over the weekend that really it happened. What like an hour. Hour after we got off the air on Friday. And then I got started getting bombarded with these texts I'm like, what are you talking about? And then just this has been a crazy crazy situation. It really hasn't. It leads obviously to a bigger top. Again. Let's be honest. We know in our morning show. There's a lot of people driving to their kids to school. And this is an uncomfortable topic. But it is a topic. Nonetheless, you know, the solicitation of prostitution that that he is going to be charged two teams today for but the bigger scope pair of sex trafficking, which listen we cover big sporting events, and every time you land at the airport of a big sporting event, obviously huge events, but were in the sports world. You see these signs everywhere about about sex trafficking. So the Super Bowl is one of those events every year. Fortunately, the events most tied to instances of sex trafficking that we experience in the calendar year. Absolutely. Right. So while there is there was a lot and we saw it right away. A lot of jokes about a Robert Kraft, and the others that got caught. And again, the Johns as they call them, it, it became a little more less joking with people and more of a serious topic of what they were actually trying to do with this. And and get to the people that were bringing these young woman over from China and putting them to work in this situation. So there there's the Robert Kraft side of it, which is unbelievably embarrassing, and we'll see where it goes from the NFL side. But we should never lose focus. It's something obviously, this is a sports show. So it's not going to be talked about a lot. But the bigger issue here of sex traffic in which is a very big problem. That's going on. It is an that's obviously the jump that was made though because on the craft side of it. You're right. We sort of isolated down to what happened in this situation because that's what's going on. Happen. Now, certainly legally with what's happened here today. But also now what the NFL is faced with with one of their most high profile, if not maybe the most high profile owner not named Jerry Jones in this. Right. So so here's where we are the the Kraft family, and the patriots have issued a stern denial of any of these charges saying it is I believe with the warning was completely false. And and that's going to be interesting because it squares up with what Andrew sharp the Jupiter. Police detective had to say when they announced that these people were facing these charges on Friday. So how the fifteen traditional.
