Dinesh D’Souza Explains Partnership With Salem Media Over '2000 Mules'

"And we've never really partnered like this. Talk a little bit about the importance of your team partnering with our team for 2000 mules. Well, first of all, I think it's to the great credit of Salem as a company. I mean, it's a public company to take on a topic like this that has so many minefields and so many risks, I think is a testament to the great courage of ALM in stepping behind this. The second thing that's kind of funny, Mike that I think you'll appreciate, as you know, Salem hosts are not of one mind on this issue. There was a lot of variety of points of view. Perhaps Eric metaxas and gorka leaning more to the idea of, yeah, that was stolen election, but certainly Dennis prager and Charlie Kirk and Larry elder were not on that same page. And when Salem first suggested to me the idea of putting the hosts in the movie, I wasn't quite sure how that would work. And then I got the idea of kind of bringing them together, telling them nothing about the movie, just talking about what they thought originally, then showing them the evidence and recording their spontaneous reaction. I knew they'd have a lot of intelligent questions, and I thought, well, those are going to be the questions on the mind of the audience. And then we'll sum up by asking them their conclusions. So it worked beautifully essentially what we did is we took this Salem host and made them part of the plot of the movie.

Daniel Horowitz on Biden's Warning of an Even Bigger Looming Pandemic

"Right now is an incredibly wise and great patriot, someone who has been speaking out against COVID tyranny, and has also been unafraid to go into the weeds and do research whether it's Ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, and really waging a very effective war against Remdesivir, and he's been one of the most articulate and effective writers in the last couple of years, and he's been keeping keeping the bad guys on defense, which is just terrific. It's Daniel Horowitz, who has a new article out all about this topic we're talking about Daniel Horowitz says, quote, states must preemptively nullify any WHO international pandemic regulations. Daniel, welcome back to the program. Tell us what is the WHO poised to do, separate fact from fiction and how should we respond? Sure, you can't view this in a vacuum. Let's first of all, you have to look at the broader context that the Biden administration just conducted this global COVID summit where they essentially warned there's going to be an even bigger pandemic that is even more deadly and it's going to happen in the fall and the winter. It's kind of interesting. They seem to always know that. You know, when it's going to happen, so I would take them at face value, I ignored it last decade and never paid attention to this, but now I think we should take them seriously. So the broader point is that the impression that Republicans are trying to give you. And when I say Republicans, I mean the Mitch mcconnells, I mean, a lot of governors and state legislative leaders when I had friends of mine and state legislators, they're like, dude, we got to immunize ourselves against this to make sure it doesn't happen again. Let's utilize the time we live in when all these non pharmaceutical interventions so to speak have become so unpopular and let's make sure we currently ban it in law and state constitutions. And they're like, no, we're done with COVID. Let's move on. They don't want to talk about it. But we're not done with it. We're not done with the biomedical state because Charlie, this wasn't some once in a hundred year natural virus that happened to come and now it's over with. So maybe they responded inappropriately or even in an evil way, but it's over with. No, they induced it. They created it, and they're on to the next thing. And they've already groomed dare I say our generation to automatically acculturate themselves to this sort of reaction. So

China Strapped With Economic Distress

"Financial Times reports this morning that international investors are selling Chinese debt at a record pace. They also report in the telegraph that the Chinese housing market has for the first time in decades gone backwards that they're not able to interest the average Chinese consumer in a small lot purchase in one of the minor cities, which is the canary in the coal mine there. Are we dealing with a potentially catastrophic economic situation in China, Bill haggerty, because that won't stay in China? China, China has got some major problems. I think part of it goes to the demographic situation there. You know they've got just this massive demographic hole because of their one child policy. And they've got an aging population at birth rate that's below replacement rate right now. And they're going to have a very difficult time maintaining support for the elderly population as it moves forward. You sort of you begin to see that manifest itself in the housing market. But I think it's the other reasons for this too. China is certainly going to this zero COVID policy because they have not vaccinated the mobile vulnerable people in their own population. That's caused massive shutdowns massive economic dislocation. That's very hard to recover from. And their way to recover from it in China is to make more infrastructure investment. Well, many of the Chinese infrastructure investments might be good ego projects for Chinese leadership, but they don't have a real economic value. So I think it's a misallocation of resources within the country. It's demographic problems. It's their reaction to the COVID pandemic, which had things been different in Wuhan, maybe not spread it. We might be in a very different place right now. So China is dealing with it in all fronts.

Naomi Wolf Thanks Eric for His Support While Writing Her New Book

"Naomi wolf welcome. Thank you so much, Eric. It's wonderful to be with you again. I am so excited about your book. I had the honor of reading it. And endorsing it. Ladies and gentlemen, it is titled the bodies of others, the new authoritarians, COVID-19, and the war against the human. Naomi, you've been on a real journey here in the last couple of years. You've been at the forefront of this spectacularly helping people process the absolute madness and I would say evil of what has been happening. It's just difficult to process because it is unprecedented. None of us has ever seen anything like this. I don't think we thought we'd live to see these things. So in the book, the bodies of others brand new, what is your thesis and how did you come to this place where you saw these things and felt this urgency that you do? Well, thank you. So first I just want to really acknowledge Eric that you were pretty much the first person in a public context that spoke that I spoke with in depth about these issues. And we were both kind of looking around at this mounting illogic unreason horror and having similar reactions to them. So a lot of my ability to think these things through, I really owe a great debt to you because we spoke a few times over the course of kind of the worst of this darkness descending. And it always helped me because you and I come from, in some ways, a similar background. And just having another thoughtful person looking at the abyss was very, very, very useful to me very

Shouldn't we be more alarmed by that? That there was a breach of privacy. Can you imagine if it were the other way around that a left wing ruling were leaked. "If every student in your senior class at Harvard had to read that book, would any be affected? I do think they would be affected and that's why it kind of makes me sad actually because people won't even allow themselves to try something out. I think many specifically the part about the American value system. You explain that so beautifully and the harm of the left. The one part of your book, where I do think, no matter how many people read it, they would still dislike this part, is the one on Islam. And it's specifically radical Islam that's taken hold. For some reason, because you think they'd have the hardest time with? Yes, because I can tell you. Yeah? I have gifted your book to many of my friends here. And a lot of their reactions are, we loved a lot of the book. He makes great points, but he oversimplifies Islam.

"So I mentioned it got to talk about it. That is the now the most successful documentary of the modern age in just over a week, it's netted 10 million gross. It has had a million downloads. It is 2000 meals. I'm in it guys full disclosure. I've got a stake in it, but it is so important. Got to ask you, this told us we were conspiracy theorists. That's nothing happened. We've got in just the areas where Greg Phillips Catherine, engelbrecht and the 2000 mules team looked. We have at least 400,000 illegal ballots that were being trafficked by NGOs by individuals who went to 27 drop boxes in 36 hours at 2 a.m. 3 a.m. what is your reaction to this? Is this a game changer? Will it affect those who are un political or in the middle potentially? What it needs to change is any state that still has a law that allows mail out ballots to everybody, ballot harvesting or any of these ways that our ballots don't go from one person's hand to the election officials directly should be outlawed. Now, I can understand mail in balloting at some level if you've got controls like states that do it well, is okay. But the states that just mail them out and these NGOs scarf them up, I got to tell you, in 2019, November, my wife and I took information to the Republican National Committee about ballot harvesting in California. Concrete concrete showed that they were doing it. They were registering people at Starbucks with addresses at dog parks, at places like this. We gave them the dataset that showed this. And they were like, that's great. We're going to go buy some 32nd attack ads.

And congratulations, I actually have a chance to tell you that yet. So first just your reaction from your race, you won the shocking victory. I think almost two weeks ago, how are you processing things? How's your race standing now that you're in the general? That's good. I mean, look, the Biden administration has been a disaster in Tim Ryan, my democratic opponent has voted with the Biden administration a 100% of the time. So we feel good about the general. Still got to put in the work. I think the Republican primary the way that I think about it is that it was a referendum on what kind of party do we want to be? Do we want to be a nationalist America first policy? Or do we want a party? Or do we want to go back to the ways of starting stupid wards that we have no reason to be in and shipping our manufacturing base off to China and other countries in the world. So I'm glad that the voters of Ohio rejected the old establishment ways. And I'm excited to take the America first message into the general election. And like I said, I feel pretty good

Brandon Tatum: The Left Thrives off of Double Standards

"Some journalists named Wesley Lowry because I'm very interested in your perspective on the left's reaction to the buffalo massacre. Let's listen to journalist Wesley Lowry to Brian stelter over the weekend on CNN. Let's be clear. The stuff Tucker and Laura Ingraham say every night, it could be written by white supremacists very often. There is a section of this manifesto where the shooter starts talking about people always say diversity is strength. How is it strength? I could hear it in Tucker's voice. He says this all the time, right? But the Ben Shapiro's of the world say this is a big chunk about the idea of genetic differences that could have been pulled from an Andrew Sullivan column, right? There are plenty of people in our politics in our media who advance these ideas and advance them frequently. Oh, so it's Ben Shapiro's fault, or it's Andrew Sullivan's fault, or Laura Ingram's father, public enemy number one, Tucker Carlson's fault. Officer Tatum, they just can't help themselves, can they? Oh, these people are deranged and they're out of their minds and they live and they thrive off a double standards. It's quite ironic that they're willing to, you know, put the blame on Tucker Carlson and other conservatives who may have some ideas that are accurate that this guy plagiarized and used to the detriment of other people. But they're not out here talking about Illinois or any of these Democrats who are literally telling white people that they're the enemy of the world. They are really creating in my opinion these homegrown terrorists by spending most of their time making white people feel horrible about existing in this country, making white male Christian straight men feel like that they are the enemy of the people, make wealthy white men feel like they're destroying America every minute because they've accomplished the level of success. I think that more so, those individuals who are saying are creating this negative rhetoric create these deranged lunatics that go out and do this.

Was the 2020 Election Fraud the Perfect Crime?

"Catherine dinesh had this brilliant idea to fly all of us Salem hosts who weren't involved in the collecting of the data out to California to see a sample of what you and Greg had done. And then to get our reaction on tape and then to add it to the movie 2000 mules. One thing that my daily beloved Dennis prager had problems with and I had to explain to him on camera is how this is the perfect crime because of the envelope into which the mail in ballot is placed, which is put into the Dropbox or mailed into the polling station. Which means when there's nobody there physically voting, the envelope arrives, the ballot is taken out of the envelope that identifies who should have sent it, who it belongs to. And once it's taken out, that's it. Chain of custody is broken because there's no way to connect that ballot with who was supposed to have filled it out. In that way, isn't this the perfect crime Catherine? Yes, absolutely. And never more so than in 2020 when they removed the very few checks and balances that did exist. They removed to security standards around signature verification. They were quick to take those ballots out of the drop boxes and mix them into the general population of early voting at polling places. And so there was literally no way to unring the bill.

"Just amazing over the last year and a half to see the reaction of a normally isolated insulated board if you would the board of education and many of these districts who were finally in many ways confronted the first time over actually what they do in the reaction that those boards had. Yes, I mean, the teachers unions, they elect a lot of these school board officials. And when I say they elect him, I mean that they fund them and they make sure that they get elected. They make sure they do get out the vote campaigns and all that type of stuff to ensure that their school district school board member gets elected to the school board. But we've never seen an uprising before from your everyday parent to go into these school boards and actually hold them accountable. It's one of the most amazing things I've ever seen probably the best thing that I saw come out of COVID was the parents awakening to what was happening in their kids classrooms. Because we've known it's been bad for a long time, but it's never been at the forefront of these parents, but yeah, it was amazing to see them go in and rallied at the school board meetings. It was amazing to see them turn around and say, no, at kids should be in school. We shouldn't be teaching them remote learning.

There's no problems that could occur at settled science quit denying the science. What a doctor science say, Doctor Fauci, if you dispute me, you dispute science because I represent science. The science get the vaccine. It's safe, it's an effective. The only two side effects, right? The party that likes to say that the science is settled when it comes to climate change. When it comes to global cooling, then global warming, the global cooling then global warming, that's changing. We told you it's going to be changing. So we screwed up whether it was going to freeze us to death or melt us to death. Point is it's changing and obviously it's our fault. Science is settled. Never mind all of the contradictory science that says not so much. They like to be the party that says science is settled. Ah, you know, science when it comes to sex. I mean, there was a bunch of people with Oz stickers and all, but pretty much every time his name came up, there was also a bunch of booze, just giving you an idea that this is a this is a guy who does not seem to have unified support. And I had never been to a rally in this sense. You and I went to the rally. And he was Ted Cruz and Trump. And so we were in the audience for that one. But here I was in the green room. Right. And you know, I do remember when he was on Oprah lot and he likes to, he likes to kind of mingle with the left with the liberal left. Yeah. "Has to be the guy you kinda put your career on it now when you see what happened. What your bisky. He's now gone. You bring fields in you have to show the organization. You're trending in the right direction. I don't think andy dalton does that to you. listen he was. He was in dallas with a very good offense. And it's kinda just mediocre righties with fourteen touchdowns eight interceptions kind of the way. His career has gone. Will he be more stable early on justin fields. Probably but he bring the excitement and the ability to really advance that matt. Nagy offense light. You'd like justin feels no way so. I'm gone with justin fields. We're gonna ride through the tough times together. But ultimately try to show the organization our fan base. Hey we're training in the right direction. Would justin feels. He's going to be our franchise guy. He's the player that makes the difference for us. He's riding justin field. Who you ride going with. Justin feels too. I mean that's why they moved up to draft him. I mean he's going to be the guy that cer shirt nagy's job i mean just fields doesn't start the majority of the games upcoming season. Then you're probably talking about ryan pace their general manager and matt nagy looking for another job in two thousand twenty two offseason so to me. Andy dalton is one of those guys that can do a good job when everything around him his ideal. You saw that last year in dallas. But that's not going to be the case that the chicago bears offensive line shaky position players. Leave something to be desired. You need a quarterback that can be dynamic. Somebody that can offer you. The opportunity for off schedule plays second reaction. Plays being able to get more explosion in your offense to me. That's justin feels. That's not nick foles. That's not abby. Dalton that negative needs to stop playing himself. They've got they've got to get ready to go. It's not really right now. You're getting ready to go bye week. One you build an offense around with the kid does well. We'll see how quickly they are willing to make that change. Meanwhile let's talk about.

"Fun to see those highlights of perot from last season before the knee injury is a reminder of some of the great things he did of course he is coming off that knee injury but he's not just prepping the bomb looking at things come out of his arm. If you ask bengals players if they noticed more velocity from borough they all have one answer with an event. Yes what about today. Hells especially with my gloves off. And i was like oh this is anita. Come back on and thousand. He's humming the ball right now. Those smoking they come in you know so we got anticipate a that. Got star ledger as well. You know so hands out there thing a little bit but we gotta adjust to it. It's been fun watching because he looks good. Throwing the football obviously kindle movement stuff that he'll be a season rolls around but just watch some football. It's the same old joe yet. Maybe even better same old joke. The bengals are confident. Borough can pick up where he left off. But they may want to lighten the load on their young franchise quarterback last season. Borough averaged forty pass attempts per game the most by a rookie in nfl. History as you can see there though. He wasn't the only rookie with a heavy workload last season. Justin ferber also passed. Andrew lucked for the second most pass attempts per game by a rookie in. Nfl history. Tim do you see borough regressing or improving in your mind. Well i would anticipate that improves in. I think the challenges that is coming off a significant significant injury. The truth is for quarterbacks it's unnerving to have people around your legs basically. It's you know it's y. They've changed the rule. The tom brady rule where. You can't go low on a quarterback so anybody that's been rolled up on tap into me and two surgeries two years ago because of that and so something that you have to get over mentally. And then i think when as it relates to joe burrow's gaming think about how good he has been at escaping kinda got this slippery quality to his game as ability to create sometimes. He's a design runner but oftentimes. It's kind of second reaction. Plays such a good job of of getting out of the pocket and creating because he's elusive will that be impacted by this recovery. You saw him in that video there at bengals camp wearing a big knee brace. And that's something that is going to be playing with going forward. I think all of those things are a factor in terms of what type of progress we see absolutely makes the point of him giving you the second chance opportunities in no second chance plays lower. You know we love the sec. I think joe burrow defining heisman moment was evading the rush against georgia getting out of the pocket to his right hidden. Justin jefferson down the field and so those are the things we're used to seeing him do because he's uniquely brave in new pocket. Almost if you ask a guy like me who would never want to play quarterback it have guys barreling down on me almost stupidly. So but that's why we love them down here in baton rouge and that's why they love him in cincinnati ohio. So will he get the ball out of his hand quicker and if doing that in doing that does that. Make him less of a player less of a threat to push the ball downfield. So i think there will be some adjustments that joe burrow in cincinnati. Bengals have to make but when you watch do with the intangibles that he has the type of leadership qualities to understanding of the game and the ability to distribute the ball. I think joe burrow will be just fine. you know. It's interesting talking about the improvements that he's made with strengthen his arm he really didn't have that much playing time in college that that's just another remarkable thing about his career. I think there's still probably so much more that you can get out of him it jeff. Let's take it to another second year guy to kind of want to prove it year in a way writes. What's the thoughts from miami on if improve question. That's the biggest story line in miami. By far and i was having a conversation with a member organization. You really instilled a lot of confidence in my belief that they feel like he is going to take that step that they believe wholeheartedly that a lot of the issues that he did face last year. After a guy waiting. We're based on the fact that is wide receivers were injured. That is running. Game was decimated by injuries as well offensive line at times dealing with some injuries. So they feel like this team if you look at some of the point differential the losses that this is actually at least ten win team and they believe we'll be part of that so a lot of confidence behind the scenes into second year. Yeah this team. The same is ready to win right now. It's time for tour to take that jumping when you look at these three quarterbacks to takes that job i believe that. His team wins double digit games. If justin herbert takes joke. I believe that just that. Herbert wins the mvp. And that's what we're looking at. We're looking at these three do's and the different places that they're in coming into this season let's go. The charters made some big improvements around herbert as well at least on paper time for one more thing before we go against eiji dylan on the practice. Field is unbelievable with these quads. I mean these things went viral. He's also to bother sweatshirt. Was like this. You get merged. So here's what he said about. All of it put up. Maybe we can make a quad squad no competition but if if it does come down to competition you know mine are the biggest and we can put that down and stated out the strongest. You know no big deal. I put out a thing on twitter. And i did a little pole and it was like fifty one forty nine for quad jello quad. Father brought up the idea of one leg being quad zillow the other one being quad father. Some row at that either name is applicable am. I would definitely respond to it where we where we think. Quad father quad zilla. Are you upset. His mom named i think his mama named no because his mom named him. Aj mccollum aj. Here i'm not telling he leg not call another grown man. The name of the game is to accept the new normal after prostate cancer and in new normal. You're not gonna have as predictable and rigid erection an inaugural you're gonna have orgasms but you will ladder. Jack laid out through your penis. You'll have an orgasm. Jacket will go into your bladder so you wanna get used to the new normal. Enjoy the new normal and say we're going to be a sexual couple together. We're going to move in share pleasure and enjoy sex after prostate cancer. Who we're gonna feel proud that we've done that rather than compare it to the way it was before in my twenties or before prosecutors. No can i tell you so. We don't forget about this. The absolute most important the single most important sexual exercise for a couple of dating with erectile dysfunction. Absolutely and you know. Mike go mess. Before he died he did with over two thousand males. And i probably have done. It would want fifteen hundred men and neither of us ever did it with the man who enjoyed the exercise. It really was not fun but it was crucial and it was called the wax and wane of erection exercise. What happens with that is that you allow the man to get an erection anyway. He can and soon as he's a wreck. You stop stimulation. If you stop stimulation your erection will wayne. It's the lure of physiological function. And then go back to sensual or playful touch and again essential and playful. It is sexual in very different than affection. You will if you're mindful relax and into receiving as well as touching your partner you will get a second reaction. Allow that second direction.

"Did he not I forget the he he won games for those who believe it's just the quarterback that wins games in the internet, but the Bengals won games with Andy Dalton at quarterback. So I was a little disappointed overall. So I don't know where he stands in his career right now. Yeah, interesting. So let's go into some of the draft guys right now and we won't really touch on Trevor Lawrence and Zach Wilson who I heard you on Ross Tucker podcast, you're you know, weekly appearances our appointment and listening for me and age, you know, you're very high on those two guys. I'm I'm more Curious will get into some of the depth in this quarterback class and somebody who I trust is told me that the Patriots like the depth in this class and I love to see who who might pop for you there. But you know Mac Jones at Alabama, obviously the Nick Saban connection right has a lot of people curious. What do you think of that? I think Mac Jones is you have to answer this question. Change to determine what your view is of Mac Jones. Okay, and I think different people and I've talked to some not with the Patriots obviously just you know coaches people along those lines, You have to answer this question. Do you view movement ability second reaction ability as a required trade now to play quarterback in the league. Let's put Tom Brady side greatest of all-time. Okay, let's put unless you believe Mac Jones is Tom Brady and I don't say that in a in a sarcastic manner unless you believe he's going to be that guy. If a you don't believe he's that level of player then your view about mobility and secondary action improvisation will Factor greatly into your world view of macja because he's not a good athlete. He's not big and he does not have second reaction ability. And he's not a big armed guy. Now he can make all the throws in the context of specific offenses. But he's not a big arm guy. So you have to decide how important second reaction ability is to you. I've had many coaches tell me now that it they view it as critical jobs. I had a GM who you and I both respect tremendously say that you'd like to have it but he doesn't view it as as essential. So it comes down to what your worldview of that is dead. I've athlete because I'm old I'm old school great cuz I'm old so I vacillate you know, but if you believe second reaction ability is critical and you have to have it towed then Mac Jones is not a first-round.

The last couple of years is on the of line where you know like joseph note boom. Who is sort of you know okay. Well this guy will take over whitworth. One day just didn't really work out david edwards on the interior bent hours. You know you don't need world beaters necessarily but it's it's not great and i think you've sort of saw it affect their approach in their play calling and really the way that golf played Coming way back to the point that i started to to make like two hours ago. Now and the way that golf played once whitworth and went down in the protection wasn't as steady. I think in stafford. You have a guy who has better well. I don't think he is much better late in the down. I don't know how good he is. He gets into his mid thirties. Maybe that goes away a little bit but he certainly guy who gives you a chance with things sort of breakdown and you need that second reaction play at that was never. That was never jared goff. I think people are let their imaginations run away with them when a when it comes to that stuff but the one thing i wish i remember who the conversation was to people i i like on twitter. "Refresh is that when you're going to give those kind of big sections the people for secular reasons then you need to give those kind of exceptions to religious believers just prior two reactions one of course is but the point of the religious clauses used to try to work out accommodations because they can be some of the most difficult to resolve disputes and I can substitute a kind of hostility for harmony so from that point of view I really repeat that if you want to add the chief justice's question I don't understand why this can't be worked out but if you can't from what's been said so far it seems to me the proper legal box to work it out in is whether this particular rule is arbitrary capricious or an abuse of discretion after all the religious groups say they have a real basis an objection and the other say look these are women who will be hurt who have no religious objection and moreover the insurance companies will be hurt because it will raise costs moreover the taxpayers to pay for it will be hard now you have interests on both sides the question is whether this is a reasonable effort to accommodate and that I think is arbitrary capricious abuse of discretion but that is the one thing that isn't argued before us in these brief hearing this appeal so what do I do this is a repair C. span radio programming from Wednesday prior I think you're absolutely right that is not the nature of the injection that's been.

"I wish there was games going on right now I wish there were games last night and if Major League Baseball returns in empty stadiums I'm fine with because I think for a lot of us while keeping abreast of what's going on around us and knowing the seriousness of the world around us we want to be entertained we want to be distracted in sports has served in so many ways over the years as a great distraction we all want to be distracted by being angry at our closer for blowing a lead or angry at our basketball team for not playing enough defense down the stretch of the game so when I read Ken Rosenthal's report that one of the possibilities would be Major League Baseball quarantining basically all thirty teams and playing games regular season games an empty spring training ballparks this two reactions to this there's number one if it's feasible if it can be done in a safe way hello yeah sign me up I'm in crowds are important don't get me wrong I I'm a season ticket holder I mean I love going to baseball games it's it's great boy if it serves as the entertainment and distraction we need even if no one's in the building sign me up I'm in it's great it's going to be fantastic let's go now let's get to the real world in the real world is I don't know how realistic that plan is from a safety perspective I mean all you need is one person to fail a coal V. test and the whole thing's gonna get shut down so two things in the world where you can pull this off in the world where this works perfectly and flawlessly I'm in I'll watch Mets Braves from digital domain park actually it's clover park I'll even watch you know Diamondbacks Rockies obviously they they're gonna have to change around the spring training facilities in some L. teams NHL teams are split between Arizona and Florida but wherever you play the game you're broadcasting and I'm in of course I I just I read that report from can and I hate to say it but it feels like wishful thinking it doesn't feel as if that's realistic now maybe it is in July you know and maybe that's the way it starts and I think for a lot of us when it comes to bring in the NBA back or the NHL back or in this case baseball having season I think a lot of us think differently today than we did three weeks ago I mean three weeks ago I may say give me a break I need people in the stands look beggars can't be choosers if you can give me a safe sport no matter what the environment is I'm in I know we talked last week about the viability of crowning an NBA champion would we call it a legitimate NBA champ and all that well that's a debate for sports talk radio that's a debate for all those TV shows that's a debate for Twitter and it is what it is yeah well we'll debate it further for the rest of eternity does that title count for Jana South Dakota you know that title count for the broad but I think most of us I can't say everybody but most of us would take something boy and it's not meant to be negative I'm not trying to be negative on Saturday April fourth twenty twenty I think it's more realistic that a plan of quarantining everybody in the state of Arizona baseball teams and broadcasters and empires and having that work just seems a little far fetched but if it can work great it's a lot better than watching Derrick Jones junior take on Kevin Durant in a video game that I can tell you but I just don't feel confident like something like that can be pulled off and look as far as advancing the season deep into November and even into December and having a neutral site World Series I'm very anti neutral site World Series but I also understand that you've got to make concessions when you're looking at a less than ideal sports situation so if it means there's a World Series at Dodger Stadium that doesn't involve the Dodgers will will be okay you know I mean may not be perfect but we'll be OK I'm actually believing that if you extend the post season into November you could have it in east coast and northern climates because I gotta tell yeah November feels like it's been very different the last few years I feel like you could pull it off all right it may be a little bit cold but you know what bundle up all right here's the truth here is they did the dead honest truth about postseason baseball and the crowds that are there the money is through TV and you're just a prop you're an extra if you're out of playoff game it's all about TV and I understand that I've been a plenty playoff games and I Norman extra except I'm not getting paid I'm paying for it and anybody that.

"It's dumb is because first and foremost eighteen t doesn't have the feedback loop that Disney has to build a streaming service is super costly in two respects one you have to pay the content and to your forgoing revenue that you would sort of make otherwise HBO's because they already have the model there in a little bit of a better position here, but they don't have part three which is where the value sort of accrues broadly. Right. There's so much value for Disney and establishing this relationship that they can afford to price it relatively well. They can before to put all their content in there it because building up that customer base is so valuable to them. There's no similar feedback loop their four H B O or. Four watts. These other companies, frankly, and also it's not clear that AT has the money. They sold friends to Netflix one hundred million dollars this year instead of sort of keeping it off in reserve for their service. I mean, they can undo that Delaitre like every time someone watches a rerun again, the west likely they're going to switch somewhere else to get it at the end the day. They couldn't say no to the cash and there's talk about them potentially selling ESPN Europe. Like, they have all this debt. There's the balance sheet for this or the model. The meantime, they're driving out HBO's leadership because they want to make HBO in an umbrella brand for streaming and HBO's leadership wants to keep HBO being HBO this very specialized exclusive, we get the best content creators because we're HBO not necessarily because we have the widest reach our audience, or whatever it might be. And they're kind of throwing that away in exchange for this apparent streaming idea that it doesn't seem like they have the fundamental structure economics to succeed in two reactions as you were saying, they don't have the Disney thing. Elvis. They go build Westworld or something where the show is leading people to go one to be inside of Westworld. And and folks who've watched the TV series will know what I'm talking about. But like it takes so long to build up all the muscle and all the mechanisms and the reputation and the right people and the right processes to do something like what HBO has built, but it can all go so quickly. It's like one of these offices decisions where you walk through the door, and you can't walk back. And again, it it makes me sad because they just produced so much content and in some respects have led the way to revolutionizing TV what people think about the quality of the content that gets put on TV it used to only be like that for movies. And now it's like that on TV and that's in large part because of HBO. And if you think about it like Netflix, the WalMart live TV, right? They have everything you want some of it will be goods bail out. It'll be crap. You have something like Disney that is maybe like I dunno best buy. Little more, specialized it's still sort of everywhere. But HBO is like the apple store..

"It was very senators and showed us to clips of you making the players that three our laws because of that's second reaction, and you delaying 'cause desperate second. And it's a six yard touchdown. That's all you need to do to Tom Brady and others is just have them off their game for that split second. Hopefully, they're going to roll the dice and try and get some of those moments. Yeah. I think we're Bill Belichick. He obviously is gonna come up with a plan the first game. Tyreek, yo hurt them. Tyreek he'll head three touchdowns had over one hundred receiving yards. One of those was a seventy five yard touchdown. He cannot be a factor. They also will have to contain trip. Travis kilty. I think the big thing in this. I believe that the patients are going to dare Andy Reid to run the ball because he's not a a really loves running the ball. He likes to throw it. So they're going to in my estimation. They say we'll see if you will commit to giving the ball Dame. And is he good enough to beat defense? We'll see if they can use a tactic against the chiefs. Let's move to New Orleans where the eagles home for a Super Bowl repeats Lippou out schon Jeffries fingers yesterday at I like, the Nick foles magic Mike continue with the QB leaving eagles to an early fourteen nothing lead over the saints. But after the first quarter foles turn back into a pumpkin. And drew Brees fought back to take the lead for good after the game. Foles was asked about his future in Philadelphia. You know, I'm not really gonna worry about it right now. I think you know, I'm just going to do what I can to enjoy this five back with my teammates. And we'll see what happens, but I'll tell you this. I've.

"For Shawn Watson, you took the most sex in the NFL by far yet. Do you think that that is something that he will continue to improve upon or is that a red flag has you really concerned. My guess is still continue to improve. Because I think the some of the reasons for that are fixable and correctable I think that his tendency to hold the ball too long is correctable, and I think is understanding of where pressures coming from is correctable he struggles with both of those things right now as for Andrew luck is he a different player than he was before. And if so how before the injury. Yes, I think he's different because of the nature of the offense and how he's being coached. He's now a much more rhythmic player. The ball comes out that's part of the offensive design. That's intentional. So you don't see him holding the ball as long you. Don't see as many second reaction plays which are a function of the fact that the design of the offense presents quicker define reads and throws. All right. Let's move on to Saturday night Cowboys and the Seahawks. What's the most interesting aspect of this matchup behind the scenes? I would say from. Profile perspective. Both teams are somewhat similar. I think they want to run the football. They do it a little bit differently to see hawks. Do it out of shotgun inside zone. We know what the Cowboys do with Zeke. It's very multiple run game. I think both quarterbacks have second reaction ability. And I think both teams rely on that particularly critical longer yardage situations. I would say that two things are factors in this game. The Seahawks pass protection could be an issue. They've got some injuries along the online they've had to make some changes and adjustments. And I think the Cowboys are very very good with their pass rush. And then I think for the Cowboys offense to player stand out to me that are critical Kobe's Lee, we know about but the player who got some snaps this past week against the giants. And I think could become important as Dr sustain her as table in Austin. If you would've told me a couple of years ago that in two thousand nineteen I'd be hosting the Dan Patrick show in Greg Cosell would say take on Austin's important in a playoff game. I would not have believed you that's unbelievable. Is it too simplistic, Greg for me to say, I think this is a close low scoring game. And as a result, I'm going to go with Russell Wilson and the Seahawks because he comes through in the clutch and Dak doesn't I mean? I know that's overly simplistic, right? But when you watch the tape Greg do you feel like you can see experience? I know it's tough because you're just watching videotape. But can you feel like you can see guys that are more comfortable Layton games than others? I don't want to answer that. Yes. Because I I think I'd be just making that up. But I think that what you're saying is the way the teams are built to a certain extent when you're going to run the ball and play good defense, the expectation more often than not is that the games will be a lower scoring and therefore closer. I think that the Seahawks feel very good about Russell Wilson's ability. Not only to connect on shot plays off their own action. But in his second reaction ability just look what he did last week to lock it to set them up for a field goal. He's done that quite a bit this year. Obviously Prescott made that great throw last week at the end of the game. But I think that overall the Seahawks feel very comfortable with their profile. The Cowboys have been very inconsistent in that regard. So my guess is they feel less comfortable. I think I saw that. I can't remember what it was Russell Wilson. Either only guy that didn't miss a snap this year or hasn't..
