The Rich Get Richer While the Poor Get Poorer

"Producer Connor for example. Producer Connor is going to be our test case. I think did I mention this on air before? Maybe I did. So producer Connor got poorer this last year. Now he's going to use this as an advocating for a race, but I'll bring that, that's a separate conversation. How did producer Connor get poorer? Producer Connor what your mid 20s, right? Mid 20s works hard gets in early does a great job. He's 25. So he's right there. He is right on the chart. Andrew says we actually gave him a raise. Okay, it was an inflation adjusted race. But here's what's important. Listen, producer Connor got poorer. His rent went up by $600 a month. Is that correct, Connor? $600 a month. That means he has to pay 600 extra dollars a month, $7200 a year to live in the same place that he lived last year. So in order to just tread water in order for Connor just to stay the same, he has to earn an extra $600 a month just to break even. Whereas I have a mortgage. And my mortgage rate is fixed. And that doesn't go up. So I borrowed my mortgages can make a lot of sense, makes really conservative. Money. And therefore I become I'm fit in and it doesn't change mortgage payments, you could have a fixed rate, you could have a floating rate, but most are fixed. I actually am getting richer. The value of my home goes up, my payment stays the same, which actually goes down because the currencies inflated. So Connor the renter gets poorer, Charlie, the owner gets richer. I'm not trying to rub it in your face Conor. I'm just using you as an example. It's true. Your rulers betrayed you.

Dr. Anthony Fauci's Giant Golden Parachute

"All right, I want to turn to another big story right now that we've been following on Trish Intel dot com, my website, and that is doctor Anthony Fauci's giant golden parachute. I mean, it's like the biggest ever. The largest golden parachute, the largest retirement in U.S. federal government history. In fact, Anthony Fauci is going to get more than $350,000. For his annual retirement, think about that. I mean, the guy never needs to work. He's had 55 years of service as a federal employee. He could retire today. Maybe he said, maybe that's the answer. Maybe we should say, hey, go take your $350,000 pension and go have a good day. Because you're kind of messing everything up. Constantly. I mean, one day it's this one day it's that one day it's this one day it's that and he's created tremendous confusion for which he really should be held responsible, but it's not just that what bugs me more than anything is the lying, the lying about what we did in terms of funding the Wuhan institute of virology in China. There are records of the U.S. taxpayer dollars about 600,000 of them and I don't care if it's just ten cents. I know some people are 600,000. No big deal. Well, you know what? It is a big deal, because it means that we played a role in the funding of this risky research, not only did we play a role, we tried to then say, oh, we didn't. And that's not we, that's Anthony Fauci, doctor Anthony Fauci, trying to cover up effectively. The role that the U.S. taxpayer had in funding the virology institute in Wuhan, that's not okay. It's not acceptable. But you know what? He's going to be sitting pretty, really, really pretty because he has, as I said, nearly $400,000 in his pension. You know, so he can retire and do nothing. 340,000 to 350,000 each year in federal retirement payments. That's according to Forbes dot com, which crunched some of these numbers. I mean,

Is It Time to Publicly Finance Our Elections? Rep. Matt Gaetz Shares His Thoughts

"I'm not supportive of this. I'm open minded to it. I see upsides and downsides. Is it time to publicly finance our elections? I am not a fan of that because I don't believe that taxpayers think that money should be like taken from them involuntarily to fund the ambitions of politicians. And I don't think it's necessary. I am regularly one of the top fundraisers in the Congress, and I don't believe I've asked anyone for a check in four years. And it's because in the mail and online, people give 25 $50. Donald Trump revolutionized revolutionized small dollar giving on the Republican side. It was really something that didn't exist on the Republican side. So you would cap the limit maybe, you'd say like, hey, a $1000 limit. No PAC money. I'm trying to think how I want to publicly shame the people that I know. But let's be honest, what from a policy standpoint needs to change, right? Because it's an attitude that has to change. Because you're not going to get the policy change otherwise, Charlie. They're not going to do it. They are so addicted to that pack and special interest money. And it is gross. Well, let's walk through how it works, right? So you have like Citibank, the city bank can't give money to a politician, but they can start a pack. And so city bank can give a bunch of money in the pack and give you like 10,000 bucks or whatever. But then also Citibank can hire lobbyists and then those lobbyists can write personal checks. And then that's right. And then they can hire lobbyist firms. And the lobbyists firms can do fundraisers for you with other and then the firms have their own firm payment. That's exactly their clients because that's another flow. And then they can give to the national Republican congressional committee. Which leadership fund, which is give you credit for it. Hey, I'm going to go to the Republican Party and I'm going to write a $10,000 check. And I want that to be credited to my good friend, congressman Gates, congressman, whom. And then they could also go to the super pacs that are created outside of the orbit and write a $5 million check. Is that correct? Yeah. But you know, you know what my approach is? Bring it

Biden's Child Tax Credit Could Create a Massive Expansion of the Welfare State

"What the heritage foundation writes about what Biden wants to do with the child, tax credit. In reality, he's proposing a massive expansion of the welfare state. Except he's calling it a child allowance. In the policy relies upon the child credit tech credit. Now think about a tax credit. That means you pay taxes, right? Well, he's expanding it for people that don't pay taxes. They don't have jobs. Rather than providing tax relief, the plan would give cash grants to families who do not work or work comparatively comparatively little. The Clinton era welfare reform understood that paying able bodied people not to work with good for neither society, nor recipients. Such payments tend to push individuals out of the labor force and toward the margin of society, impeding upward mobility for both adults and children. In reality the plan would offer zero long-term tax relief to working families with children. Even in the short term, some 75% of the aid would go to cash grants to families who owe no income tax. Contrary to the Biden administration rhetoric the primary focus would not be taxed relief, but the elimination of all work requirements and work incentives from the current child credit program. Under the current system, a family must earn at least $2500 during the year to be eligible for the cash grants. The Biden shallow allowance policy seeks to rip out these work requirements and incentive credit explicitly overturning the principles of welfare reform. Under the Biden plan, the federal government would for the first time in a quarter century provide unconditional cash grants to families who choose not to work during the year.

What Is Happening in This Unprecedented U.S. Labor Market?

"I was talking to you about the Biden economy, and the study that was done by heritage about all the things that Joe Biden has done to make things worse. Quote various government programs and policies enacted in the name of COVID made it easier for people not to work? Recent growth in welfare benefits. Makes it easier for people not to work. 18 months of generous unemployment benefits studies consistently show that higher benefit levels and longer durations of benefits lead to higher levels of claims and longer periods of unemployment welter. Quote, the additional $600 per week in bonus unemployment insurance benefits that lasted between March and December 2020 created a disincentive to return to work. And they don't even mention the relief from evictions. Studies says quote two thirds of unemployment of unemployed workers were receiving more from unemployment benefits than from their previous paychecks. And you're shocked. Because you can't find workers. Quote, states that ended the unemployment insurance bonuses in July 2021 or earlier, experienced a significantly greater pace of employment recovery in July and August than states that did not end the benefits until the beginning of September. If the state that did not end unemployment insurance bonus payments early had recovered at the same rate at states that did end the payments early, the economy would have experienced 800,000 more job gains in July and August.

"Patrick is in Rhode Island. Hey Patrick, how are you? I'm great. Thanks. How are you? Pretty good. Pretty good. What do you make of Rashida Tlaib? Thank you. What do you think of Rashida Tlaib, wanting you to pay her college education bills? Well, when you talk, I think it's completely ridiculous. But we've got to understand that the college education wouldn't of course nearly as much if the government never got involved in the first place. So before you could work the summers and pay for your college education, then the government wants to come out. Oh, we got to protect all the poor people, the poor people shouldn't have to work their summers away. We can give you a loan to pay for this education. And then what happens? The same thing with supply and demand for the university Jack up the cost. So that's really why it's so expensive. That's fair. That's fair. Jump on something. If they want to jump on something that we could all agree on, why don't we get rid of the government making money off of students? So if they want to meet halfway, I could see maybe okay, we'll get rid of the interest payments or something like that. But let's say then wipe out the interest payment, right? But let's play that out. Why aren't there interest free mortgages? Why do you have to pay interest on your mortgage? Why do you have to pay? Why do you pay interest on your credit card? Why do you pay interest on anything? But I get your big picture point is, why should the government make a profit off of a college education? Listen, I'm not sure I agree with that, but that's a heck of a lot better than expecting the taxpayers to pay everybody's college education.

I formed my CPA firm two decades ago to help clients recover dollars at the unnecessarily payment form of state and federal income taxes in most CPAs are simply historians and we do a very good job of helping clients mitigate that cost. In a very recent case, he purposefully ran over a woman, with his vehicle at a gas station. In the case this month, the woman told police Brooks purposefully ran her over with his vehicle. And she was walking through a gas station after he had followed her there after a fight, according to a criminal complaint. The woman was hospitalized for her injuries, so he has a tendency to run people over with his car. Daryl Brooks junior does. And yet he was released on a $1000 bail and is now a mass murdering terrorist. I'm already gonna tell you this is gonna unfold. The media will ignore this. They will not cover this. They will move on to their next thing. Front page of CNN dot com suspect and parade may have been fleeing another scene. It says here on the front page of CN. 5 people are dead and more than 40 are injured after an SUV, plowed into a Wisconsin parade. Officials believe the suspect was escaping another incident. Oh, that makes a perfectly fun. No pictures, no information around the person who did this, of course not. The Milwaukee county district attorney's office issued two counts of second degree recklessly endangering safety and Fallon in possession of firearm in 2020. Cash bail was originally sent at $10,000 and then reduced to 7500. Unlike some other states Wisconsin requires a payment for the full amount of bail in any criminal case. In February 2021, the state was prepared to proceed with a scheduled jury trial, mister Brooks was still in custody on this matter, and previously made a demand for a speedy jury trial. Because another jury trial was still in progress for the same court, the defendant's demand for a speedy trial could not be met. The case was adjourned and bail was reduced to $500.

No. If they just say we have a moment of reflection, we're going to take 60 seconds that anybody can do what they want. They can pray they can reflect they can meditate. They can think about their the girl. They like sitting next to them. Whatever they want to do, they can do it as sort of a reflective time. That is legal. That is. There is no constitutional issue of that, because it doesn't promote religion. It doesn't establish a religion and it doesn't Play favorites with the religion, so that's going to be fine. It's just when you have certain organized prayer in public schools. That's when you have the problem, and that's when you have that separation of church and state. Problem and that issue arises. Of course, if you are if you go to a private school Certainly Catholic school. You can have organized prayer because in a private school, the First Amendment doesn't apply because the government is not making the rule. The other interesting lawsuit that occurred this week was, um some plaintiffs got together in sued the state of Indiana, Indiana is terminating its unemployment benefits. For those who are affected by Covid and the federal government has extended federal benefits for states to use their funds until September and Indiana said Listen, We have 116,000 jobs that are not being filled. It's not good for our business is to continue to give out this unemployment. Money. And so we have decided not to take the federal money and we're going to terminate benefits for our people in our state. So the argument is an interesting one. Because does the state have to give out the federal money that's coming in? And there's some technical arguments here. There is a law the federal law that was passed called the Cares Act. Says that the government should provide unemployment relating to covid type loss of job so people who are like cab drivers or people who are working in the food industry and things were closed down. We're entitled to unemployment, and some of them probably wouldn't have been entitled to unemployment in that gig sort of job situation. Because they were independent contractors. But the federal government changed the law on that. So the question is when you have those to the state and the federal conflicting, what is the answer going to be? Uh and I really I'm not sure I'm going to predict on this one, because I think it's going to be a tough battle for these plaintiffs to get this extended. That's that's all I have to say on that one. Um, So let's let's talk a little bit about some of the issues that are happening in the summer. From a legal standpoint, I get a lot of questions. Lot of sad situations where people give money to a contractor. Maybe their contractor left flyers on their doorstep or someone came by and said, I have a rough roofing business and you need a new roof and let's do it and Someone hands over the money, and the construction worker doesn't do the job does a terrible job messes it up? Does half of it that never comes back? And then they check out on the wet website and nowhere to be found. There's no company. There's no there there and there stuck with all this, you know, undone, work or are shoddily done work and there's just all different variations. Of this. So one of the things that I talk about is how to protect yourself when it comes to getting home repairs done, and I'm going to go through some of these things and you're going to say Yeah, I've heard these before, but really, really, you need to do I'm going to go through them quickly. The attorney general's office in Illinois has some interesting information about complaints about companies. The better business Bureau is a great place to go to see if they if there's been reports, uh, you should get references who's double job Have you done lately and call up that person if possible, or walk past the house to see if it was done? Google doesn't work because Google can turn up all kinds of people who may have paid to have the Google website. Come up the website come up soon. Uh, I think you should never go with the lowest bidder. You should always get three estimates and really look at what is being said. You're going to require them to have the right insurance. You can demand that you can see the property damage insurance workers' compensation insurance for their workers, Because if someone is injured on your property, you don't want to be responsible for that. Uh, you need to know their address where they're located. Is there a building there is that corporations are they licensed? Um, Do they have a website? Are there Is there contact information there? The contract should be in writing in all the relevant terms should be on that contract in and there should be no deviations from that written contracts. So if The construction worker says. We're going to put on all these things, and, uh, but it's not in the contract that's not enforceable. So every pertinent pertinent detail has to be in writing. Otherwise, it's not enforceable regardless of what the oral, Uh, promises were So the terms should also say when the project starts and when it finishes and it should have staggered payments should have a down payment. It should have maybe a second payment when a certain portion of the job is done, and then there should be a final payment that you make only until and unless you are satisfied with the project you should always pay directly for expensive. Um, it's the expensive material. So, for instance, if you're installing doors or you're installing countertops.

"True true. So is it reasonable. When you're you know. I guess you could say negotiating with someone over a contract. Is it reasonable to ask them to change something in the contract. I think it if if there's something say say the way the way you're paid at work you only get paid once a month. And they have a thirty day termination clause and you wouldn't be able to get another paycheck in say if they terminated you. You wanna make sure that you would be able to at least have a paycheck to move on and you could say. Would you be able to extend that in my case to forty five days i understand i have to get out but if you give me forty five days i'll have a pay check in hand and i'll be able to then have something with me in something to help me with the transition. There are exceptions to rules in communities by federal law in for the americans with disabilities act service animals. You know all those types of things so if you know you have a service animal and you have a small unit. You wanna go to either an rv place or any kind of plate site where it's no pets that can be an exception view. Would be saying to them. I need to have this animal with me. Performs a function for me whether it be emotional are true service and that landlord that leasing company would have to make the exception for you so those couple of examples of where. If there's a hard and fast rule you could ask for the exception and in the matter of service animal or a caregiver who's on age of entitlement to those exemptions by state and federal law got it. Yeah speaking of exceptions here. Where i live in burlington vermont and vermont. In general has a number of laws about leases and tenancy that kind of you know for example like in burlington. A landlord is not allowed to charge a higher rent for a pet. They can take a pet deposit but they can't charge a different rent for a pet though. Like do those laws if somebody does find themselves in a contract that is actually against the state law which which takes precedence like the contract that they signed or the the in the state that says well. You can't have a lease that makes somebody do. Xyz that's one of those situations where And i think it most states in the united states. There's usually a lawyer referral number an eight hundred number that you can call and there may be a nominal charge but if if you have a situation like that where you know you google the laws and burlington and it says one thing and you look at your lease and it says something else you. I would also google lawyer referral service because my firms member of that. And it's it's kinda like a pro bono service that would be a perfect question to pose sue somebody in one of those referral services to say. You know i'm attendant. The law says that. I see i'm being charged. Something different and then you know landlords or held to comply with the laws just like ten minutes or so you know there are ways where you can challenge that short of you know hole big lawsuit you know by getting some of that legal advice and do you offer or have a recommendation of where people can find like sample contracts. Like say. they're you know going to go live in their tiny house in someone's backyard and the person's like oh i don't really have a contract you can you bring me one or is it are there. Do these exist out there. And is there a good source for them i have. I don't know of one particular source but usually in any jurisdiction view go online and put in sample. Landlord tenant lease. You'll get a whole bunch and it's usually from law firms that our landlord tenant lawyers and you would be able to at least get an idea of basic terms and it's usually start date how much you're going to pay what the basis for termination is and if there's a security deposit and you would be able to just look at that framework and it doesn't really have to be much more complicated than that. So you know. I hate to say. Google is a source. But if you google that tight. Landlord tenant lease or sample lease. And it comes up with the law firm. At least that's a little more reliable situation than the way used to go to the library. Find something that said leases and you know. Pull out some antiquated your party. The first party of the second part document you know. It's a lot more available and accessible online now green so i also wanna get into this. We've been talking a lot about communities and kind of leases and where you're living but the other big topic is around you know entering into a contract to have a tiny home built for you. Yeah and i'm curious. What are some of the issues that you've seen in in that realm Probably the best way to tackle that is not having payments in sync with Like what the builders doing as far as the bill so it up like giving fifty percent down and fifty percent at the end without any steps in the middle to like for example You know a certain certain percentage or certain amount when the you get the floor plan. A certain percentage you know when the walls are up when the electrical goes in when the plumbing goes in so that it's not just one chunk of payment and you pray everything gets done until you make the second payment. You want a stair. Step that so that you get proof of what's happening with the first payment. The second payment the third payment and the critical factor is. There are a lot of people who don't even know what their electrical plan is in their house or the plumbing layout so that if they have problems with those types of those parts of that house the the contractor repair person that comes in literally have to take part figure out where the electrical system is. Or where where the junction boxes are. That may be the cause of the problem. So you definitely want to have the payments timed so that you're getting what you need as the owner to show that that work has been done and there are certification companies out there. That can do that. But you wanna hold them to the same requirement you know. They are certification companies. But you should be getting proof of inspections you know all along through that process. Not just you get certificate at the end that the home meets all the requirements be roadworthy and all of that all certification companies do things in a timely fashion through the bill. So you wanna make sure that your timing your payments with them as well with production of what proof of.

Ah, fresh look at the economic collapse resulting from the Corona virus Pandemic shows what has become the most unequal recession in American history Economics reporter had the long takes a closer look for the Washington Post and talked with comas. Bill O'Neill. The recession's typically hits some harder than others. We know that but the difference is in this one are pretty stark. It was God smacking when we ran the numbers. Ah, low wage workers. So we're talking about people earning $13 or last were lost their jobs that eight times the amount of higher wage workers. And here we are. Seven months into this recovery and low wage workers are basically still in a depression like state with huge job losses. Meanwhile, spokes in the top 25% of the income distribution. So a lot of white collar workers they basically fully recovered. Now, why are certain groups recovering more slowly than others here? It's really the nature of the Corona virus, and we can all see it is be drive around our town. This is just so decimated the service sector generally a low pain jobs that Aaron Hotels Hospitality and restaurants, and many of us can name those types of industries. Not to mention a lot of people who are paid in cash, Maybe clean homes or take care of our baby said or nanny. Those types of jobs and those jobs are overwhelmingly held by black women, for instance. Blackmon and people without college degrees. Now the federal government, of course, was quick to step in and help out when the pandemic began lately. Not so much has there been any kind of talk of assistance for these groups in particular. Well, everyone is watching the White House and Congress with bated breath and the latest tweet. The latest information coming out is they still don't have a deal on some sort of further stimulus bill And that worries me a lot in this story. We we did a huge amount of data analysis. To show that this is the most unequal recession in modern history, more so than the great recession we all suffered through, but we also talked to a lot of unemployed workers. And I just think about talking Teo, a single mom that Tasha Smith, who used to work in a casino in Louisiana, that casino Eyes, not just shut down. They've decided they will never reopen. Her job is totally gone, and I asked her. You know what's in your refrigerator, and she opens her refrigerator. And she said, I've got a pack of wings and a pack of size And that's you know, obviously, the impacts of a recession on any particular group can drag the economy down as a whole. Even if your group has recovered. How much of this? Does this impact our overall recovery? When we look at it that way? Obviously we're a consumer driven economy, So not only are these people live Being decimated. We have people falling from the middle class into poverty, like Natasha Smith were just speaking about. But this hurts the recovery in the sense and the overall economy because obviously these people do not. Have money to go out and spend. They don't even have enough money to go out and buy food or pay rent. A lot of people we talked to our unemployed are no longer pain ran. Several of them are no longer paying their car payment. One of them was behind on their electric bills. And no wonder those landlords going to do what are those car companies going to do? It starts to impact the whole economic change. "Correspondent Simper has been following what's happening in Washington when it comes to getting some bills passed here, Bill. Good morning, so the president signed the stopgap spending bill, but this has nothing to do with another stimulus package. I know. And this simply keeps the government in money operating with all budgets until December. 11th that is that stopgap bill Eso es divert any chance of any kind of government shutdown. So the president may actually have another one to sign here shortly and this would be another stimulus plan. And I certainly hope so. I didn't Didn't Pelosi meet with the Secretary Mnuchin, our Treasury secretary and They kind of butted heads, so Yeah, well, I think that both, however, saying that progress has been made now that there hadn't been any discussions at all J T for a month, And then this week of the two got together again have held several rounds of discussions over the last couple of days. And last night, the House of Representatives actually was scheduled a vote on their $2.2 trillion package. This is that The scaled down version of their three plus trillion dollar package that they passed earlier this year, and they did not vote. Now. That's actually good news because what that does is they decided to wait to leave the door open for more negotiations with the administration on a perp possible compromise here, So that's good news that they're still talking about this, and this would include another another payment for Americans of around $1200 or so another round of the paycheck protection program for small Businesses. Airline aid, which is critical as we hear about tens of thousands of furloughs pending also money for Ah, relief for states and municipalities, covert 19 testing and tracing education support. So this is a much needed package. But The real dispute has been over the amount Democrats. Of course, I said, passed that $3 trillion plan Republicans justifiably concerned about the just The hemorrhaging of money here wanted to be a little more fiscally restrained and s O. Ah, right now we have the administration talking about maybe 1.5 trillion Max. That's still a long way away. $700 billion away from what the Democrats want to do. But still some reason for optimism here. J T. So they don't come to an agreement today. Will they push through with the vote anyway? And what could that possibly bring us? Yeah, I think if there's no agreement, what the Democrats will do is they will vote on their $2.2 trillion package. It'll pass and the democratically controlled House of Representatives don't think it has any chance in the Senate. So what will happen then is the House is scheduled to go on pre election recess after Friday. They're likely to do that, And then they would be armed with some information that they could pass along to their constituents saying that hey, we wanted to get you another $1200 check, or we wanted to get you some money for your small business to keep it open. But your Republican friends in Washington wouldn't allow it so that that's AH, stage. That's why I say I have some reason for optimism here. That everybody wants to get something done. "Nine sixty six pop them with tax relief I just looked up we have a lot of one of our screens we have the things that we talked about just so we keep logs of everything we talked about it and they'll that's break is just sorry this very inside baseball but he just says Dershowitz Willie float you a call right now and say I would not could not and I will not flow all right welcome to the program let me go to Ethan in Virginia before we get to Pat hello Ethan okay going good how are you hello good I wanted to ask you in our state of Virginia are the Democrats are like in full control and they're getting ready to change all of the gun laws for us so the counties are surrounding counties are changing into second amendment sanctuary Kelly's so my question is how much protection to the gun owners will that flexible that second payment thank you very much protection will they give us well I would I buy I happen to think that sanctuary cities for the second amendment our whole cities the second amendment is the constitution it is constitutionally protected right so when you know with sanctuary cities with illegals that's like yeah we're not going to enforce the law because we disagree with it this is we are going to enforce the law it'll all come down to your sheriff's if you have a really good share of the sheriff does not answer to the governor does he try to remember Pat in the constitution I think sheriffs are the only ones that don't that don't have a hierarchy they answer to the people I'm not sure I know the sheriff hierarchy what is up on the hierarchy of sheriffdom rightly should be I'm pretty sure it is definitely me whether I never been right when I know of never been tested right but the but the idea is is that the sheriff is not an appointment from anybody and doesn't answer to anybody but the people and that's what counties are doing it because the county sheriff if you have a good one is saying that's my constitutional right I respond to the people not to the governor or anybody else but you will have a fight between the sheriff and the governor that's why you need to be all Americans should pay very close attention to who they have as their as their sheriff and make sure you really know that person and that person understands the constitution and will stand thanks so much even hope that helps answer your question you should also be very much aware of the presidential candidate most likely to do something about this gun situation that's Michael Bloomberg course he wants to he wants to take the guns off the streets which is great and the and I think goal which is going to take the guns off of the streets they were just laying there in the streets yeah well I know I was like you know can somebody pick these up my my higher hazard I'm constantly writing Tigers because of all the streets yeah right and then they go are just by the question of bayonets right yeah they're always on the end of the guns and just in case the same thing happens at home is going to come get him out of your house to rise to strike everything really but obviously there's no reason to have something that was developed specifically to kill this is this is one of the I mean remember this is the guy who what over the weekend said is in Jersey is not a dictator he he answers to his constituency yeah well he changed the law so he doesn't answer to any body coming just don't have constituents they don't it really does his thing was all you think the people around him if he starts going bad you don't think that they'll any couldn't bring himself to kill him right so you're saying a clue is constituency if you've noticed a lot of dictators survive a long time before cuvieri sites them yes you know he'll family yeah yeah the L. family Kim family yeah yeah you're right you're right at sixteen thirty first yes but he's got some other great policies right to explain one of them last year and I I think the the poor are really gonna respond to this when he's talking about taxing the poor and and how great that will be love it here's Michael say well taxes are regressive but in this case yes they are that's the good thing about them being alone is in people that don't have a lot of money so higher taxes we should have a bigger impact.

"Delaware. with a branch you show. and they are you better than I deserve what's up. five a retirement question on forty acres old and we stuck between the steps two and three three B. sorry IRA Roth IRA which is sad are you sure you don't stop as I understand how you get stuck between baby steps two and three B.. yeah I I read your book last April total money makeover and I started work in the baby steps and I want that the ad will stream learns and I started paying off. about like a grandmother at all okay I got that but how to award is three be come into play that's saving for a house. yeah so I I had two thousand dollars less my debt and I found out the army should have paid. this two payments on my my student loans that's been like kind of pending for awhile because they haven't taken care of that so I haven't played down my last two thousand honesty lands will they not reimburse you if you do pay it they'll. no they said if the if the balance is zero then they won't they won't repay how long has that been pending. since April when I blacked out about it. what how long how long do you think you're gonna be before you get the money. hopefully this year I'm hoping okay so here by Christmas just pay it off. okay Charlie who won't move on you're not gonna get on with your life so what's your question about retirement. okay I have a Roth IRA and after a couple years nextel for the past four years and I just recently started this year with the seventy. and I didn't know if I can do both of them at the same time with a Max now by law yes. okay and it is that so should I be July. the cap on the on the four fifty seven be is like eighteen thousand whatever should I just do it on that each of the Roth IRA well no I put the Roth IRA before the fifty four fifty seven because Roth grows tax free four fifty seven is deferred comp precious were you are putting off deferring. holding off receiving your money and it can be invested in can grow it's deferring your compensation and so Roth IRA grows completely tax free so you fully fund the Roth IRA first and you know we're thinking about baby step for at this point which is fifteen percent of your income going into retirement what do you make. make sixty thousand okay you don't need to be maxing out that for fifty seven them because you need to be there on the other money toward your house and saving up to buy a house and you know inside throw all that money that savings so fifteen percent of fifty thousand seven thousand five hundred dollars that means that you put two thousand five hundred are you put fifty five hundred into the Roth and two thousand in the four fifty seven not eighteen thousand. okay yeah I have I do have a house phone so and throw everything else at the house fund. okay and so my house on the idea of the twenty percent down yeah I'm one hundred percent now that's my goal so just keep keep put money in there as fast as large again seven thousand five hundred all you need to be put in retirement right now everything else and have your have your emergency fund implies I have enough to pay off the stupid student loan thing if they don't clear it by the somber and everything else goes on the student everything else goes on my house phone is powered up power up power you're done a great job you're way ahead of schedule twenty three years old and you're being very bright and you're thinking about all the stuff you're returning your critical thinking skills are excellent very very well done so get after it died you're done great candies in Houston Texas hi candy how are you. I'm better than I deserve to be thank you very much for all that you've done in life to make me that way so I I took financial peace university in January. and I started with baby step one version two signed in July I paid off my debt. and is already to start on baby step three. and then the problem started. so I I live on disability checks and I were in two rooms out in my home. because I can't I can't get a day job so winning these rooms is my day job and so. so in in August shortly after I paid I finish babysit too I had a roommate tell me that he was going to be moving out and so I'm you know looking for someone male to fill to fill that spot but in the meantime I'm short on funds and then of course there's a plumbing problem and it was originally supposed to cost fifteen hundred dollars but then when they got into it in ended up being six sixteen eighty. that is my entire one thousand dollar emergency fund. about six hundred dollars. many I could into sinking funds for Christmas good for our insurance good. no I'm calling you is because it's so discouraging and I'm thinking maybe there's some magic words that you. too what do you what do you. what your disability income. much. well twenty five a month yes yes how much are you renting these rooms full. one is eight seventy five. and one is six hundred. a good. and how old are you. fifty seven what's the nature of your disability. well it's really complicated but I was I've been diabetic since I was eight and that turned into a kidney problems and then a double transplant. but the thing that really keeps me from being able to work is I have complications with my autonomic nervous system. that means that my blood pressure one body temperature all the things your body does automatically like your heart being like that it doesn't work right now and so there are days when I just can't do anything. okay and then there are other days when I feel fine. okay. all right well I. I think you've done very very well. and then you got kicked around the knee. as soon as you were doing good and I thought that's discouraging to anybody. I mean anybody who ever longer than by you know you know and some drops a bomb on an adjuster if as life like Emma as is never going to work but the thing is if you were not out of that and you were not on plan and you're not working intentionally that that this this thing you've just been they would've been a maths thank goodness you had the money what. where to go. meanwhile. thank you no I didn't give you the most I can give you anymore but you he taught me a lot but I think you you know I'm impressed and so I get how it is it's just like it's a it's a moment where you say comment and you constant stick your lip out and I would do the same thing I understand how you feel that way but but I just got to tell you it will look at the whole picture not just this the last you know a couple days of bad luck or bad mess mess you got the whole picture looks really good because you've done such a good job so I think you got a whole lot more to to be encouraged about than discouraged about I think this is a speech be bop. and you're gonna be fine and here's the other thing I want you to understand your copy of Christy right writes book business boutique because I want to start a side business idea that that you can do on your good days. because after talking to you for a few minutes I think you probably got a small businesses. I think there's something you can do if you've obviously got some health challenges that are very very real they're not pretend..
