"You're listening to WTO pneumonia. While the recent big failures give the Federal Reserve, will they give them a pause right now? Within the last year, the fed has consistently increased rates with the goal of cooling inflation. Now economists say this week banking troubles in the U.S. and internationally could cause the fed to actually stop rising interest rates. CBS business analyst Jill schlesinger says inflation is still too high and rates she thinks will keep going up, but that's not the only reason. If the fed were to go on pause, there is a question as to whether that would signal to the overall marketplace that they are freaked out about what's going on in the financial system. And I don't think they want to convey that. We will see a quarter percent rise at this week's meeting. If that meantime is not the only institution trying to make sure people are not concerned about the U.S. banking system, that's what one expert, at least, tells WTO P, explaining how and why bank runs actually happened in the first place. It starts with panic about banks not having enough cash and it leads to people pulling their money out. People are nervous when everyone is doing that. It ends up creating the problem you were scared of to begin with. Because banks don't have enough money to give all of their depositors all of their money immediately Everyone's cash is not just sitting around, says Adrian wooten, an economics professor at Virginia tech. They take our savings accounts, take a percentage of that and then loan it out to somebody in the form of maybe a mortgage. The bottom line? The large portion of what you put into the bank gets loaned out to someone else. Nikki and Ellie, WTO P news. "It is, Fox News, Israel, to expedite gun licenses. After deadly shooting their Jerusalem synagogue. Did you have to see that? No. I knew you'd like it though. Israel is poised to speed up gun applications in response to a shooting in east Jerusalem over the weekend that left 7 people, including a 70 year old woman dead. The measure was among several that Israel security cabinet announced Saturday evening firearm licensing will be expedited and expanded in order to enable thousands of additional citizens to carry weapons. Facebook page of the prime minister. Ready? National security minister itamar Bengal told reporters over the weekend. When civilians have guns, they can defend themselves. Radical notion, though. Civilians have guns. They can defend himself. Who'd have thought of that? Yes. The things that the left come up with, we don't want you to be able to defend ourselves. We don't want anybody armed in a school because after all, if it's a, if it's a gun free zone at a school, who's going to attack it, there is no issue upon which the left things clearly none zero. These are convoluted minds.

"Red flag" laws barely used even as shootings and gun deaths soar

"An Associated Press analysis finds the red flag laws touted as a tool to stop gun violence are rarely used an in depth look by the AP found many U.S. states barely used the red flag laws passed in an effort to prevent shootings before they happen It's a trend blamed on a lack of awareness about the laws and resistance by some authorities to enforce them In the District of Columbia in 19 states that have such laws they've been used just over 15,000 times since 2020 in Chicago where Illinois law allows police to take firearms away from people who threaten to kill the law has been used just four times since 2020 even though there have been more than 8500 shootings resulting in 1800 deaths In New Mexico they are red flag law has been used 8 times during that period amid nearly 600 gun homicides in Massachusetts just 12 times with nearly 300 deadly shootings Experts say the use of the laws are woefully low not enough to make a dent in gun violence considering the millions of firearms and circulations and potential warning
