A highlight from LGM Podcast: Pennant Races Wind Down
"Well, let's go. Here you have your money. You want... $10 ,000? Yes, the services, hamburgers, salads, pasta, lamb, and when you buy a house, you're suspended from your car, and you have work to do. And that's all you need to do to have a DUI. Well, and what do you want? A propane? Don't pay the price of your money, you can't sell it. Don't pay the price of your money, you can't sell it. Also, all of the marketing possibilities with your home team. Hello, and welcome to the Lawyers, Guns, and Money podcast. This is Eric Loomis, and I'm here with Rob Farley and Scott Lemieux to discuss the general state of sports right now, particularly baseball, probably a little bit of football. Gentlemen, how are you all doing? Very well. There's also an obscure politically relevant hockey topic I could bring up too. We could always talk hockey around here, which might be more of a monologue for you, but hey, that's... Hockey and racism. That's the game on ice. But it's been a lot since we talked about sports here. Right now, it's August 30th is when we're recording this, and baseball is reaching its pennant races, or playoff races I guess is more appropriate these days. They're very interesting this year. Particularly, I think we should start with the official or unofficial perhaps team of LGM, which is our Seattle Mariners. So, what a run for the Mariners, and I was wondering what thoughts you guys had about what's going on here and maybe talk about the ALS generally. Well, as Eric and I, I don't know how many times I had this conversation earlier this summer, I was just brimming with confidence about the Mariners, particularly that offense. Every time Dylan Moore came up in a big spot, it was just great. No, I was... I was kind of on the fence. I know on our major league preview, Dave was pretty optimistic, and then I think the rest of us were like, consciously optimistic, but perhaps a little more skeptical, and I think I might have been the most skeptical. And then really for the first half of the year, the team was actually worse than even I had anticipated. Good pitching, but just really desultory offense. Particularly with Julio being a little off, and there's not just much else going on. The Mariners having their annual second base disaster, the curse of Sean Figgins, showing up in Colton Wong. What was his final slashline? It was genuinely horrific. Yeah, like I just... And one thing to see, Jesse Winkers also on his way out of the league. You know, so it ended up being kind of a wash no trade, but boy what a disaster it was. I mean, it was not a bad move. I mean, yeah, so he had a 241 on base, 227 slugging. And one year ago, he slugged 430, and the year before that, 447. I don't know what it is that happens when the something about the Mariners and second base are not mixed. And Adam Frazier was awful for us last year, has been a perfectly competent member of the Orioles this year. So I don't know what's going on there. But anyway, and it's weird that the team almost turned around when they released Wong, not saying he was the only problem there. But you know, and what's interesting is that the pitching staff has been excellent all year. And I think that the Mariners rotation has been top three in ERA all season. And I believe they're now first in the majors in the ERA. I may be wrong, but it's close, if not so. Really, really strong rotation led by Castillo. Scott's surveys always has good bowl pens. And one thing is that they were able to use their annual pump and dump, sort of creating a closure out of Paul Siewald and trading that for a couple of useful depth pieces that they really needed, even though they've had a little bit of problem in the back end. So yeah, it's surprising, obviously led by Rodriguez. But obviously, it's been really encouraging how they've played over the last couple of months. And it would be nice if they could win the series against the A's as the rubber match is ongoing as they speak. But yeah, it's been pretty exciting over the last month. And I'm looking forward to going back to the park. I mean, it's interesting. I think that when they traded Siewald, it was sort of like, well, what really is Dominic Canzone and Josh Rojas? I mean, they seem like a couple of marginal players and they actually played pretty well, both of them in Seattle. But I mean, it seemed like what they did ultimately was just give him, give service a lot more platoon options and a lot more mix and match stuff that he's been using at the back end of the lineup so that if it makes sense to go more or Matt Ford or Caballero, then that's fine. But Cade Marlowe has been a pretty good call up. And then Canzone and Rojas, I mean, that's a lot of options, each of which is functional to slightly more than functional in the right circumstance against the right pitchers. And I think that makes a lot of sense. And then, you know, Telenik will get, you know, should be back here for whatever that's going to really be given that he was, after that good start with sort of sliding back into his usual suckiness as the season went on. But they should have a lot of options in September. So I think it'll be, you know, I like the way the team sort of made moves mid -year to change its construction, even though, as you say, is Munoz really a reliable closer? Well, it's been a couple of times where it doesn't seem to such so. But, you know, but you certainly have to like where the team is in a three -way tie for the West with cratering a Rangers team and an Astros team that, of course, is going to remain competitive, but has its own flaws. Yeah, I mean, this is this is such a remarkably interesting division, right? I mean, and, you know, one of these teams is not going to go to the playoffs, right? I mean, we're operating in the assumption we're going to have a division winner. We're going to have, you know, one of the teams is probably going to be the wild card, but one of them is not going to go to the playoffs. Well, no, no, because there's three wild card teams now. Is it three wild card teams now? Yeah, so Toronto, I mean, you know, somebody's going to be out, but it could be, it could be the Blue Jays. Oh, okay. You see, I was this was a rules update that I was unaware of. But, yeah, the season ended today. Seattle, Texas, and Houston would all be in and the Blue Jays are actually three and a half games behind the Astros. So that's they're actually have work to do. Yeah, that's that's actually quite interesting in terms of the National League as well. But I think the more critical point about this particular division is that, you know, you have you have one of the worst rosters in the history of baseball in this division. And I would I would hazard that the Oakland A's are not the biggest train wreck in this division, right? I mean, I think that the the Angels, you know, are having one of these catastrophic seasons that even though they're not going to end up the worst team in this division because of the A's, you know, this is this is a sort of great train wreck of a team in terms of its wasted potential, catastrophic its complete use of two of the biggest stars, two of the most talented players, not just in Major League Baseball, but in baseball around the world.

"Just perusing my favorite newspaper website, The Washington Post, the greatest newspaper in America. And lucky enough to have one of the columnists, one of the writers lead NBA writer for The Washington Post, Ben gulliver joining us now. Ben, how are you doing, man? I'm doing great. Here in San Francisco, getting ready for warriors, Lakers tonight, Steph versus LeBron doesn't get much better than that in the NBA. Oh, it is so good. So you're in San Francisco, you live in LA, you're right for The Washington Post. Do I got that right? You got it right on the LA bureau and I appreciate everything you said about the paper. Well, it's great. I grew up reading it back in the day with will Bon and corn heiser before they were famous TV guys and they actually wrote great columns. And obviously Jason Reed and Mike wise and all these guys that have been there. And you're certainly falling in their footsteps. And this is fun. I was just looking at your most recently penned column little excerpt from your NBA post-op weekly newsletter and it reminded me from 15 to 18 LeBron's Cavaliers faced off with the warriors every single year and it was must watch can't miss TV. I don't know if it's going to be as wild and Harry as it was back in the day, but I'm sure hoping so, man, do you think we can have a series here that goes 7 games or the warriors just obviously going in as the favorites that much stronger than the Lakers here? Well, I think this is going to be a really interesting series that the tricky one to handicap. I do think there's a chance that both the distance, I think everybody on both sides, though, is a little bit older and wiser. You know, you didn't see a lot of bulletin board material coming out either way after these teams clinched. I think there was a lot of healthy mutual respect between them and like you said, this is LeBron versus Steph park 5 and we haven't seen it in 5 years. And you think about all the things that things that have happened in those 5 years, I mean, the Lakers missed the playoffs and they won the title. The warriors missed the playoffs, then they won the title and yet these teams keep having missed connections. So it kind of feels like, well, maybe this will be the last time we get to see it, right? I mean, LeBron's 38, Steph is 35 still playing at a very, very high level, but the brakes just haven't fallen the right way until this year. And I think it's going to be a fantastic series. The fact that it's in the second round, maybe that takes a little bit of the luster off. It's not a finals matchup, but you go back to the 2016 and 2017 finals. Those series averaged more than 20 million people watching throughout the series. That's the highest number of the NBA had since the post Jordan era. So I expect there to be a lot of eyeballs on this series as the NBA's two biggest stars go head to head. A little bit different, I guess, all the games being on the West Coast. This game is going to tip off. I believe at ten Eastern Time tonight. It's gonna be worth it. I agree. You have Steph coming off that epic 50 point game in game 7 against Sacramento, LeBron was fantastic. And we had the debate here in studio. Some of us believe that LeBron has to go for four 30 a night. I'm of the belief that you need a triple double type performance like classical LeBron performances to lead this team. But they need Anthony Davis to get big. I mean, they need those 30 point games from Anthony Davis, or they're not going to have a shot in this series. Would you agree? Well, I think what you saw in the first round from the Lakers was LeBron pacing himself. Both within games, but across the series. Like, look at that game 5 in Memphis. He played a good number of minutes, but it didn't feel like he was going all out, right? He's 38. He understands his limitations. His outside shots been a little bit shaky. Sometimes that's a sign of fatigue throughout the playoffs. And so what he's trying to do is pick and choose his spots for maximum impact. And I think you saw that in game four, the overtime victory when he's going to the basket hard a couple of times and bringing that victory home. And then also in the closeout game to the Lakers really stepped up against the grizzlies. And so I think if you're the Lakers, what you want to try to do here is slow the warriors down. The warriors were playing this breakneck style against the Sacramento Kings in the first round. And I think you're trying to conserve LeBron's energy maximize his impact by just bringing this pace down just a little bit. And then of course you want to win the battle inside like you're describing Anthony Davis was a defensive monster against the Memphis Grizzlies the whole way through. I mean, 20 plus blocks in that series. And that's going to be a huge adjustment for Golden State because they were playing a Sacramento team that really didn't have any interior defense. You saw how easy it was for Golden State to just cut up that Sacramento team in game 7. They're getting all these layups going to the basket Steph Curry's doing ringling brothers dribbling acts through all their defense. They're getting stuff really easy against Sacramento. It's not going to be so easy inside against the length and athleticism of Anthony Davis LeBron James and Jared Vanderbilt. It's a long athletic front line. And I think Golden State's offense is really going to have to adjust by taking more threes and making more threes. I think both Andrew Wiggins took place and have to kind of step up to offset what LA has got going on inside. What's another X factor for Golden State? I look at these rebounding numbers for kevon Looney. I mean, it's insane. He's averaging 15 rebounds per game in the postseason. He had three games with 20 or more rebounds against the kings. Obviously we know what Jordan Poole has the potential to be, but he's so wildly and it's maddening to watch him play how inconsistent he can be at times. But you have Steph, you have clay. You have draymond, who's that fourth wheel? Who's that X Factor for Golden State? Well, you mentioned kevon Looney. I usually call him the 5th beetle, because he's doing all the dirty work, the rebounding, the defense, and he's not going to get the attention of a golden stage kind of premier star level guys, right? And you look at the other players whether it's draymond stiff clay, all future Hall of Famers, Andrew Wiggins, a former number one pick. And then you've got Looney. But if you go back to that Sacramento series, he was their second best player across that series. Oh, he's crazy as that sounds. Obviously Steph was the MVP, right? But Looney was so consistent and dominant inside in his size and force is going to be really important to help neutralize Anthony Davis. If you're the warriors, your game plan is let's kind of dare LeBron to shoot from outside because he hasn't been shooting the ball that well. Let's kind of make him prove it. The San Antonio spurs used to do that ten years ago to say, hey LeBron, see if you can make jumpers against us. I think gold states going to take a similar tactic there. But you also want to push Anthony Davis as far away from the hoop as possible. You want to turn him into a jump shooter. You want to get him doing fadeaways and staying off of the glass himself. And I think that Looney and draymond green, that's going to be the match that they're trying to use against Anthony Davis to own the paint inside. But that's easier said than done. Anthony Davis at his best moments during this postseason was the alpha dog for the Lakers. So we've been waiting years and years to be able to say that, right? I mean, it's always been LeBron's team the whole way. And against the grizzlies, we saw LeBron take a step back and Anthony Davis really assert himself and it was actually more of a collective effort for the Lakers with Austin Reeves and D'angelo Russell, these other guys stepping up. But I do think if the Lakers are going to win this series, Anthony Davis is going to have to be the best player on the court four times. I couldn't agree more with that. And it's funny, you talk about the 5th beetle. We're just looking for a third score for the Lakers, right? Whether it's Russell or Reeves or Rui. Living here in Los Angeles and seeing what the Lakers have done, I don't care what happens in this series where they were two, three months ago to where they are now, is a modern day miracle. Was it just, was it just health or was it one of these late season moves that put them got them to where they are right now? Well, I always joke watching this team that sometimes it's hard to really give them their credit and their due because in the back of my mind, I'm still kind of traumatized by the last two years of basketball

"Starting the day. Here comes the start one. Stand of the day brought you was always my panini America, the official trading cards of the Dan Patrick show, Lucas in Texas, Lucas, welcome back. What do you have for me? Good morning, Dan. Thanks for taking my call. I was watching the draymond stuff. And man, you know, I was expecting kind of the warriors to respond, you know, get fired up and everything when he did all of his crazy stuff. And when they didn't, I just really feel like that's the final nail in the coffin of like draymond with the warriors whenever his contract comes up due 'cause I mean, there's no tangible reward or benefit to this style anymore. Like how he started the season, how he's ending it now. I think that they are like released in the court of public opinion of like needing to keep draymond around. It's too much. It's crazy. And a real quick comment with Chrissy. I find it amazing that he's unable to keep his mouth open at the dentist when the exact opposite problem literally everywhere else. Wow. I'm going to give a bloop bloop there for Lucas Lucas in Texas. I don't know what draymond's contract status is. I think he's up soon. Does that sound right? That he wants to stay there. I know Klay Thompson's up and he wants a max deal with Golden State. I think if the younger players had performed better, has so much talent. But Wiggins has been out pool has been spotty, but draymond is still there. Do I want to keep him? What price? But, you know, he's 32. Yeah, pulling. In 2019, he signed a four year extension draymond green. And it's a player option. Right now he's making 20 just under $26 million this season, pretty good. Next year he'll make 27 million 5 and it's a player option. He could stay by choice with that team. They would have to cut them and buy them out the only way to get rid of them. Craig in New Jersey. Hi, Craig, what's on your mind? Hey, to be what's up. Real quick on green. I mean, you guys have really said all there is to say about it at this point. It's just for me, it's another reminder about how hilariously on athletic he looks. The farm flapping motion that he made as he's leaving sabonis his chest reflects trying to take flight. That'll always make me laugh. Real quick though. It's a Stanley Cup playoffs and I have a pie to the face related bets for 50. Okay. All right, what is it? This is the new York rangers are playing my New Jersey Devils in the first round. Very simple. Rangers win. I take a pie to the face. Devils win. Fritz takes the top tied to the face. Todd? I've watched about 12 seconds of rangers hockey this season, but for fun, I will take you up on it. All right, let's go with the ranger. Okay. Thank you. Thank you. How about the LA kings last day? How about them? They're down three one and one and over time. Yeah, they did. Watch out Euler's Connor McDavid. Pauly comes in, he goes, every year. Every year he has this same thing that he says. Now we don't cover hockey, but you know, we appreciate hockey. But Pauline comes in and goes, why did Minnesota get rid of the north stars? I'm all set. I don't know, Pauly. I love that nickname. I know that they'll stars took it and I know that the lineage of should you be able to take the nickname with you? No, the Minnesota north stars had a great logo, a great name, great colors. I actually think they've done a pretty good job with the wild uniforms. The little circle in the middle, but the north stars unis were fantastic. But the download stars and the Dallas Cowboys and the star and it all fits there. You're the second biggest star in town. You don't want that. They should be the Dallas, whatever. I don't know, but like Minnesota north stars was cool. Do you remember all the great Minnesota north stars? Oh, yeah. We don't have enough time. EA Sports. As your boy. Ilka sent a solo. Was that guy from Toronto, Wendell Clark? Great slap shot. Yeah. He also played for duke, I think. When he a basketball player, no update to poll results, Seattle Connor, and that's your hockey moment. Nobody covers it. You know, nobody covers hockey like we do. I just want to pay jet uniforms are nice. Real nice uniforms. Oh man, Dan, we have did I surprise you by going to you? No, I'm just more surprised that they're not up anywhere. Oh, well just make it up. Mclovin did that. You know, at a 100% of the audience agrees with me, draymond should have been suspended. Giannis is back, I guess, is okay. Josh hand is iffy. And we'll talk to Chris mannix the NBA writer for sports illustrator he'll join us. Hawks Celtics. The hawks I think are ten and a half point underdogs in this game against the Celtics and nicks are getting 5 and a half against the Cavs and the clippers are 7 and a half point underdogs against the suns. You're going to get balanced food. You're going to put good stuff in and that's going to produce even more good stuff. So check it out. 50% off your first box is pretty damn phenomenal. Try it, man. And I like that promo code JR 50 because that may be the name of our next book. And we'll tell. I love that. Yeah, I love you too. Thanks for doing it. Let's talk about the next SmackDown angle. It's going to be Hogan events with main gene M sing like the old days. And it ends with my man laying out Hogan with several chair shots and Hogan gets a ton of color here and Hogan is actually going to be forced to sign this contract to wrestle Vince using his own blood. Is that a little too far? Yeah, a little bit. It's a little dramatic. I thought maybe a little dramatic. It sounds good in a creative meeting, but there you go. I see it right there. It is a good visual. Yeah, I get that. But was it absolutely necessary? Probably not. Right. But it was a, it was a good, because it just basically told you that this match is going to be unique and it's going to be bloody. As simple as that. That raises your curiosity level enough to motivate you to buy this pay per view, then we did good. And I think that's kind of the story there. As you knew, it was going to be a bloodbath. Well, we're getting ready for WrestleMania, so in our go home episode of Monday Night Raw, we've got Austin stunning both tests and storm, Bischoff is going to come out and say he's got a court order that bans Austin from the arena. Austin gets arrested. So The Rock comes out and sings jailhouse rock to him. And with Austin going, later in the show, The Rock concert is set up. Austin struck is going to hit the ring and he's going to be followed by an ambulance into the building. And it's a swerve he set up. You can see hurricane is going to come out as the driver. And rock is going to make fun of him, calling him the hamburglar and have him arrested, and as the police are taking hurricane out, Austin comes from under a sheet in the bed of the truck and hits the ring, Austin's going. Iraq has gone rather so often it's going to stomp that guitar as you see right there if you're watching with us on YouTube. But what listen, we like the big trucks, we like The Rock concerts, we're doing what we can, but compared to the build from O one, which admittedly is unfair, because one of the best main event builds of all time, this just feels less than. I mean, I know it's the two biggest stars in the company and maybe in the industry all time, but, you know, it feels like what would you suggest if you're the Booker? I don't know, but it feels like that first gallery or what? I don't know. I was asking you. Maybe don't do it. Like, I feel like if we've seen it before, it's like you're talking about the match itself. I'm talking about, yeah, the match itself, like I understand the need for a trilogy and all that, but I'm saying the build in O one was so big, it doesn't feel like you could ever get there again. Maybe not. Yeah. Maybe not. Maybe, but I still wholeheartedly agree that the match had to happen. Yeah. I mean, if it's what Austin wants, I'm for it. It had to happen. So, yeah. We've done so much of those guys. Right. And I think that's why the thing came to an end. And it just happened to come to an end. With Austin say an 80 os. Right. Well, on this same episode of Monday Night Raw, we're gonna do something we didn't normally do here. Maybe a peculiar booking for the WWE at the time. It's Booker and goldust teaming up to take on Triple H and Ric Flair. And this is just days before Booker T is going to wrestle for the world title against Triple H and Booker and goldust get the win. And they even bust open hunter. So to have a baby face beating up a heel, leaving and bloody, right before the big show, that's not something you guys normally did, but maybe it should have been a clue that Booker ain't winning on Sunday. Not a man. Might have been a clue if you wanted to thank that deeply into it, but I had no issues there. That's just old school booking. Right. You got the guys in the main event and a tag and they could touch. Get physical and they really got physical. So

CNN: FOX News Saw Newsmax, Election Fraud Claims as a Threat
"Morning, some of the biggest stars and top executives at Fox News were privately making fun of for president Trump's claims about election fraud. Even as the network was allowing those laws to be promoted on air, that is according to damning messages damning messages in a new court filing that was out yesterday, the messages are included in dominion's $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News, they show that Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, loring room, brutally mocked the 2020 election lies that Trump and his allies were pushing at the time. And one exchange, Carlson, texted Ingram saying that Sidney Powell that attorney who was in and out of the Trump White House was quote lying and that he had quote caught her doing so. Ingram responded, Sydney is a complete nut. No one will work with her. Ditto with Rudy. He continued, quote, our viewers are good people and they believe it. Joining us now with his reporting on this lawsuit is CNN senior media reporter Oliver Darcy. It's remarkable to see these text messages, but also to have seen what was being said publicly. You know, I was covering The White House at that time to see how White House officials were watching to see what Fox was saying about the election. I think these messages really just exposed Fox News as a propaganda network. That's what they do at the core. I mean, they show in excruciating detail that the highest ranking executives at Fox News, Rupert Murdoch, Suzanne Scott, the CEO, as well as some of the top hosts like you just mentioned, Sean Hannity Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, they knew they privately knew these election claim frauds, a fraud claims from the Trump team were nonsense. They used very harsh language to describe them, but they allowed these lies to take hold on the network's air. And they show these messages show that the talents over at Fox News and the executives were very worried after the election of the audience rebelling, that they were going to newsmax. You'll remember that Donald Trump was attacking Fox News saying, turn the channel, go to this newsmax channel, which is saturating the airwaves with election denialism.

"To me, it's like no different than what happened in football. Football, they fixed how violent it was over what, a ten year span there. And they were able to take that conversation out. And then they got lucky with stars. They have good quarterbacks that people want to watch. They have mahomes, they have Josh Allen, and they have Lamar Jackson and Justin Herbert, Joe burrow, and they have this whole new generation now guys that are going to carry the week for the next 15 years. I feel the NBA is in a similar spot with the talent they have. So am I going to be wrong when the ratings come out in May and it's like holy shit, they're still down. Then I'll be shocked, but until that happens, I'm going to believe this rebounds. Well, I think it's going to be better. Also, they juice the stats for the ratings, which I think helps. And that's not just for the NBA. That's for every everybody, they're now counting any out of home hospitals, airports, whatever. So the NFL has been saying, more people are watching than ever, not exactly true. So that's a little bit of a boost, but also sometimes you can have lower viewership and it's not great for that year, but it's part of an investment. I mean, the least watched NBA Finals when it happened was LeBron versus the San Antonio spurs. Now, in a way that was a measure of the league's lack of health at that particular moment that people in the mid aughts weren't really watching the NBA, like they were in the 1990s, but it was also for the audience that did tune in a chance to feature this LeBron James guy who people would end up caring about later on. So if John morant and the grizzlies make a run, maybe they're in the Western Conference Finals. Let's just throw that out there. That's not going to be a tremendously watched Western Conference Finals perhaps because Memphis is such a small market with something like 600,000 households. But that could be good for the league long term as an investment because it's important that people sports fans, casual fans know who John morant is. It would be part of him becoming a household name that would transcend the market or any of that shit just because he's so incredible to watch. So, you know, it's complicated. You can have a low viewership year that can perhaps serve something for you in the future. All right, we're selling anything else. No. Covered it. I am buying playoff rating stock. So we clear gentlemen's bet. I think it's going to be a big playoff for them. And I think there's teams, you're talking about teams of big markets, Boston, Philly, Chicago, et cetera, Dallas, and then you're talking about over on her NBA Finals 15 million person average. I'd probably go under for that. Yeah, me too. Yeah, Bill, what you said it's unpredictable. I think the viewer has told us they like predictability. Interesting. You mean like the Cavs warrior stuff was like, I mean, Ethan, you debit more documented than either Bill or I do. Yeah, but that was the two biggest stars of the last or two of the three biggest stars of the last what, 15 years? Going head to head and then Durant was probably the fourth thing. Well, if you're going to go in, if you're going 15 years, you got to include Kobe, but that's what I mean. I said, two of the three. To sort of end on this, I think Cavs warriors initially, before Kevin Durant, it was resonant because of the big stars, but it was also because there was Cleveland versus the.

"Both. He's hedging on it. There was a statement. Made by moslems manager what are the call wa- brothers and they said i believe was malki specifically said george will do anything as long as it puts him on a path back for the championship. Malki didn't further. That thought but i loved it. I saw and i loved it. That okay. georgia's still hungry. He still that same guys. A grown man right now with huge star in the b. m. f. champion and the long hair and appeared on pro wrestling and got his hand in a couple of other ventures right now but he's still hungry kid from the backyard lying about his age so that he could get into a competition all right but then mas all came out and said he wants to fight the paul brothers and he wants to fight nick d. as now the paul brothers nick be as do not do anything to get you closer to the championship so these two statements do not go hand in hand. I still don't have a problem with either. If mulcahy's is right and whatever's next has to be a step closer to returning to title form or if mas but all's right and he wants to go out and play this very unique card that he has in just two fun and interesting things. We don't get to have enough fun things in this sports specifically the ufc. We don't not fun interesting. Yes can palling yes meaningful meaningful. This means you do this. This is a meaningful match that will get you here. Yeah for sure fun not that often. It's just not. It's just not what we do here. Dame is just a very set philosophy that this is about showing who showcasing and identifying and then recognizing who the best is and. If that's not you where do you fall in that order very big on that. So you don't get there's not a lotta room for the word fun. What conor mcgregor does and gets to do is fun. It's fun and the sport is more fun when george boswell's around it's more fun when you're creating championships by the way for a guy and it doesn't just go to george nate diaz that night when george goes on to be this huge star but nate was the a side but nato's another guy who whatever he pulls out of his sleeve and throws on. The table is going to be massive. There isn't a fourth guy. There's those three and it used to only be one. It used to only be. Connor caller revolutionized things in some way in that he could do whatever he wanted to do and not get it wrong anywhere he goes however this this way that way title fight made event over here in this country that it was going to work but it was only connor and that got extended to mazda. That being is the most life changing single sports experience. Not only four mas for all but that i have witnessed it was a magical evening crowned off by the first ever induction of the b. m. f. I mean it was really meaningful and to not relive that not bring that back. I don't agree with that. That's a different conversation. I won't digress. Speak about george specifically. Because i'm speaking about specifically for one reason. Which is i would not advise anybody else to do what he's doing to have a mixed message between your manager and yourself. I would not advise until you get organized huddle up come out in one direction to be calling out multiple guys at the same time in two different sports. If anyone else did that they would look like a fool. It just works with mas brawl. He can he just he can do some stuff. He can word things. He can framed things he can present things in a way that if anybody else did it where they would look thirsty. He doesn't he doesn't to me. Sports second biggest star still is i forget all the time that he lost his last fight all the time. I gotta remind myself i forget. He lost the one before that to all the time i got to remind myself. He's a massive star. He's very interesting. What is he going to do next. And i think between the two. And i loved what malki had to say. I looked at george different way and i thought man that's cool. You're not always going to have that. You're not always going to have that hunger but if you still got it all these years later and the way that your life and image has changed and you still feel that man. That's a cool thing. Got no problem. With what georgia san. I'm gonna go out and do fun. Things they're going to be huge. I'm going to bring the audience along. I'm gonna continue to tell a story. i'm gonna make that walk. I'm going to do all of the fun stuff. Prior to that. It's a unique hand. And i believe of the to. This is the one that i would play. If i was in that position i for sure would have gone this road. George did how much longer is the on malki. Says he's still there. I don't disagree. Malki says he's still there. George saying he's over here in the fun category and the only reason i would point to the fun. It's unique in that. He's one of three guys that can go and have it. Connor nate diaz doors. Whatever they do next any direction you wanna go. Closure is throw a dart at the bar. Whoever's name it comes on whatever way class and whatever rule set by the way those guys could spill over to boxing. That isn't going to happen. I'm sharing the fact that they could and it would be meaningful. So i would not encourage you to do georgia's doing do not look at him. Think of it worked for moslem would work for me. It's unique what he's doing but that's the entire conversation. He's one of three people alive the just right now. He.

Which is it the first or the second movie where they use a track of ludicrous in the movie and then ludicrous the actor is in a thick starting in the third or fourth movie? Yeah, think it's the fourth, and that's sad. Who wrote that song in the universe of the thousand furious? It wasn't ludicrous. It's so mad and I love it. Oh my God, I just wonderful. Everybody always say I look like ludicrous. You know, if anything, it's probably smart as hell to make that whole change. Especially nowadays, first of all, I think Tom Cruise besides his whole Top Gun thing he had. But that's getting a sequel. Yeah. Oh yeah. At this point, why wouldn't he just do it, man? Go make your money, because apparently Nike somewhere some way like fashion if they're making enough money. To continue these movies up. But The Rock is basically a billionaire. And he's like, he'll get a script. And it was like, going to the moon, signing on this. We are going to did you see the clip where apparently The Rock and Vin Diesel don't really get along on set. And so there's a clip where they try to make The Rock look about the same size as Vin Diesel using force perspective. And they kind of have The Rock offset from Vin Diesel and so Vin Diesel is up camera and The Rock is down camera. It's so awkward. Weird. I'm trying to find it. It's so bad. "Has history manchester united so people around the globe. Well know who he is even if they don't consider him this crazy global star. He's the closest thing to start power. You have in this game. So if i had asked you this question years ago even three years ago yes that would have been the right answer. And i would've agreed with you but considering what major league soccer is looking for right now considering the market is amply right now the biggest star is memo and sees guillermo for sure. Are you telling me memo chose a bigger star than ninety. So i'll tell you this twenty five thousand fans that bank stadium that most recognizable face during the game is talk. I need and you get ninety face each other. I don't know. pk or something like that people. More people will know who memo choice than nanny. I can assure you that who outside of this market is going to get to see memo joa. I don't know. But that's that's exactly why i'm saying for this specific game where he's very clear that priority number one is the relationship. Major league soccer is. The biggest. Star is memoir. You could be right on that. Here's here's my issue with. If that's true that's true. You've created this all star game and you've made it niche. You made something that's already niche. Even more niche actually accurate. So that's terrible. Way about going and trying to expand their global brand which it sends a confusing message your major league soccer which. I'm sure they're used to because as you know. There's this all star rule right. You're so right it is. It is a shame that we're not gonna see ito gatos. Bela genia league. i make. He's bought considering what you said. There is a rule right. It's not. I don't know if it's going to be enforced or not now that they are officially out but we have traffic coming up and galaxy loss at home l. Afc as we just mentioned a very bad street so both managers will wonder players to be available. But they're not able to. Okay let's explain. The roy came into attention recently with slab. Brahimi twenty. didn't wanna play on turf. He misses the all star game. They penalize them and he doesn't play against colorado the very next game they ended up losing slot and actually had this to say people are interested in different things. They lose on it. They said they lose on it and for me. It doesn't matter so he's talking about people are interested in different things. The priority for major league soccer right here is these players. We need to sell this with these players. If they don't want to help us sell they're not gonna play the next game unfortunately. Guess what the next game is is tropical exactly on. This has been battling the clock battling injury for last two. Plus months is now in a fight against time to try to get healthy for that game knows comes out injured and the sixteen th minute now. He's a fight against time for that game. The two biggest stars league has two biggest stars. This rivalry has a marquee rivalry in this league. Were now not play because of this. Very dumb rule. Alex is trying to make a quick quick memory exercise. And i don't know if they have faced each other at any traffic because last year during the tournament in orlando carlos. Villa was not part of that. I made you got hurt. And now this season when they faced each other there were also so chatty though i think he's been a part of just one one game scored on that when you're right and they are the two biggest stars specially for this market so again it's just have to see what what the league does in terms of enforcing which by the way. Greg vanney was very vocal last thursday saying it would be completely. It would be hard to understand if he's player who hasn't been available for the past. Ten league gains it was actually made available for the all star game. We already know. That's not gonna be the imagine we won't see nor is part of these festivities in the skills challenge and part of the game. They won't be there to try to help you sell the league. I'm sure that's not going to be the case. If you're going to penalize them that way right that i'm guessing i'm guessing that's not going to be. There's not going to be the case but then the case we're going to have to wait and see right and we now welcome goalkeeper. Now welcomes men now. Well gu's men with elena football. I make her plenty to talk about with them. Yeah we're going to do this. You're gonna ask the questions in spanish. Yes sir i will. Quickly john sutcliffe style. Yes in english. So can you ask him. Ps g crypto currency. Fan tokens from socio dot com. These tokens let fans hold them. Vote on some minor decisions regarding the club. Like what song is played in the stadium during warm ups or the message. That will be on the captain's armband for example. So ceo's dot com says. The sale of the tokens has generated close to two hundred million dollars for its partner clubs this year. They've got a good half dozen or so Partner clubs and of course fans who buy them and then try to sell them for more than they paid them for them. And there's a brisk business in that trading volumes before messy signed with. The Weeknd Is Boycotting the Grammys
"Music's biggest stars, is boycotting this weekend's Grammy Awards. He's the artist behind one of the most listen to tunes ever spending 52 weeks in the top 10 of the billboard hot 100 lists. But the weekend is now saying Science Nora to Music's biggest night the best selling singer, announcing he intends to boycott all future Grammy ceremonies and will no longer permit his music to be considered for upcoming awards. This just months after the Grammys overlooked the Canadian artist completely shutting him out of all nominations following this snub the Grammy Award winning artist harshly criticizing the recording academy, calling them corrupt writing. You owe me my fans and the industry transparency. And the Grammy goes to critics have blessed the show before accusing the awards of being biased and out of touch. One of the things that has been very astonishing about all this is that three out of the last four Grammys have been racked by one scandal or another for the weekend, not to be nominated, either points to corruption or Severe dysfunction. Last year, former Recording Academy CEO Debra Dugan, ousted for alleged bullying filed a bombshell discrimination complaint against the recording academy, alleging the board manipulates the nominations process. I'm saying that the system should be transparent and that there are there are incidents of conflict of interest. That taints the results. Dugan also highlighting the longstanding struggle with gender inequality and lack of diversity when it comes to the most prestigious awards like album of the year. Saying those awards rarely go toe R and B stars like Beyonce or Kanye West. But instead, the winners tend to be in the rock, country and pop genres. But the weekends most recent statement taking it one step further, saying because of secret committees, I will no longer allow my label to submit my music to the Grammys. Something's wrong with that process. If an artist like the weekend can't even get nominated. It's something that needs to be fixed. The Super Bowl headliner is just the latest big name star to tune out the Grammys. Others include Drink, Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj. Now. In response to the weekend statement, Harvey Mason Jr. Interim president and CEO of the Recording Academy, told The New York Times We are all disappointed when anyone is upset. We are constantly evolving. And this year as in past years, we're going to take a hard look at how to improve our awards process, including the nomination review Committee. "Predominant like two strains of politics that we think of as being liberal and conservative the two biggest stars of the over the last however many ten fifteen years have been in terms of liberals obama braid and in terms of conservatives trump and they both are two sides of the same coin of that homework economic as of thought exerciser or theory where obama is the version that sort of follows the rules and gets there the right way and has the big s on his chest and is basically like a superhero and then donald trump is the like. I don't know the the breaking bad version the like fuck the rules. I don't care and they both have appeal. They both have appeal. Yeah people love the beach of their stories or each of their ways of getting there But they are still just based on this sort of like inhuman Just desire for clout. And i like because that's really what obama was a we know that. That's what trump is but obama. What did obama do in his first. Few years out of office. He became a tv executive. Like did he. Did he like fucking work to cure cancer or fix the world or you know Get justice for africa or something. No he didn't do any of those things he decided to make a buck and ass load of money and everybody will tell you anybody who was raised in our home is Mindset in this country. Hey that's his right. he's got go get his right for him. I'm glad years and trump obviously is the same thing just in a completely different valence right. He's just a different version of that. All right and kirsten cinema. I see the same thing. It's the same shit. It is what this senate attracts from candidates. Kind of people that can make it. They're not the loony fringe people. Not the people who like just get lucky and win their district of like fifty thousand people in northern georgia right and get like a few a few thousand people in northern georgia to vote for them. Because they're the only republican running and they're they happen to believe that like hillary clinton eats babies or whatever but like this is a different level of kind of scariness. and i. it's it's way more dangerous than any cuban on person when You know dylan the famous line where he wrote about like the politicians standing in in the in the isles and blocking up you know the progress and that's what this kind of person it's the person who is not an overt enemy. Can Claressa Shields Make Women's Boxing Must-See TV?
"Michael thanks so much for joining me again man. Yeah it's great to be back again twice in a little over a month of pretty honored at this point. Michael rothstein covers boxing for espn and is behind the scenes. Look at clarisa. Shield is journey to. This moment is out now on. Espn dot com. Well michael we are honored to have you back on the show as well because you have this piece. You just reported on clarisa shields. Who is the biggest star in women's boxing. Maybe ever and her event coming up tomorrow night. it's being called superwomen. Some are also calling it. Her story play on history. But i need you to explain to me. What exactly it is that makes all of this so historic well. It's a couple of things. Pablo i is. This clarisa shields is the headliner on a pay per view card and there hasn't been a women's fight. Headlining a paper view card. In twenty years. We're talking last time it happened. Was layla alley and jackie. Frazier light and I don't think anyone listening to this. Podcast probably would remember watching that fight because it's been that long but they went one step further and not only. Is it her headlining. This is a car completely full of women's fights there's four fights on the card and this is going to be friday in her hometown of flint michigan in front of a little under. Maybe two hundred fans because that's what michigan is allowing at this point in this audience is going to have to come through paper view and this is again for classes. Shields and for promoter mostly because this hasn't been done before so there's no metrics on this there is no read on buys would be good or bad all of this is her taking a big bet on herself and who should be fighting. She's fighting marie eve to care who is also undefeated and they feel like. It's going to be one of the best fight in women's boxing this year and probably the best fight. They could have made for clarisa shields. And that's one of the challenges. Foreclosure shields right is. She is so good that it's tough to find opponents that are worthy of are very similar in some ways to. What can alvarez going through on the men's side if you watch that fight on saturday night because they are most just dominant so there are a lot of ingredients their them going to bite into but first off. When was the last time we even saw clarisa shields in the ring so the last time we saw her was january twenty twenty and that was against ivana hobbies in and she won a unanimous decision. Not twin make story the fastest fighter men or female to win titles in three divisions and choruses shields is plan was to fight for times last year. Jamie Spears's lawyer says 'people have it so wrong': He 'saved' Britney
"Thirteen years. Britney spears future has been tied up conservatorship control by her father now with thirty nine. Her fans are wondering why she not free. Here's my nightline co anchor juju. Chang you britney spears in a playful moment with family riding a bike with her niece thing her father jamie in the beard there. These video shared exclusively with abc news. Jamie's attorney vivian. Doreen showed the spears family together. During the pandemic. I understand that every story needs a villain. The people have it so wrong. Here this is a story about a fiercely loving dedicated and loyal father who rescued his daughter from a life threatening situation. The relationship between the princess of pop and her father coming under renewed scrutiny as the freebritney movement continues calling for an end to her conservatorship functioning woman. That's working nonstop it. Just it doesn't make any sense that grassroots movement and the inner workings of the conservatorship arrangement highlighted in recent new york times a documentary framing britney spears which reexamines the superstars rise and public fall through. Today's lens now. Her father jamie spears was placed in charge of her career her finances and her health decisions in two thousand eight when she was just twenty six responding through his lawyer. Vivian doreen in an exclusive interview with my colleague. Amy robot jamie saved britney's life and over the last thirteen years. He has worked tirelessly to protect her. He has collaborated with her to help her regain custody of her children. He has brought her finances back from disaster in his created a safe environment for her to live her life the way she wants away from the media that caused her so much pain. Britney spears was only sixteen years old when she catapulted to stardom in nineteen ninety eight with their multi. Platinum hit baby one more time. She came across his strong young high school in her first video. She's very pretty and sexy a late teenager and that was an image that she built on over the next several years and she became one of the biggest stars in the world. Releasing one mega hit after another. Oops i did it again. In two thousand and toxic in two thousand and three within years the girl next door from kentucky louisiana had become a household name but by two thousand seven life in the spotlight seeming to take toll the young mother of two appearing to publicly struggle amidst a divorce custody battle and continued media scrutiny. Britney spears is back in the headlines in a big way this morning video. britney spears with a shaved. Head circulates over the internet the lent 'less flash of cameras. She famously took a pair of flippers to her own hair at a los angeles alone the way that she was treated by the media the way that the tabloids talked about her the way. Go to the car. Britney britney all i'm gonna do is. I'm just going to ask you a couple of questions and then i'm gonna leave you alone and alleys coming up to me. She's like guys. Please please please please. Thousand britney inches grabbed. the umbrella. Started coming after me starts beating the passenger side of my truck we call this. Framing britney spears. One of the reasons is because. There's these frames that everyone remembers when they talk about her when she shaved her head and when she the car with an umbrella she was going out. Visiting kevin feather line at his home. The kids meant the world to britney and she wanted us here. Kids and kevin said no part of the reason we wanted to do. The film was to to pull back from that frame and show you show you. What's outside of it. And one of the things we found is that she was going through a custody battle during this time. That following year after two hospitalizations brittany's father jamie assumed control over his daughter's estate along with an outside trust think people really know conservatorship as much as attention. It's gotten in recent months. I don't think people knew that it was weird for a young person to be under one. Let alone be under one for thirteen years. Thirteen years later the court mandated conservatorship. Still in effect denying the thirty nine year old control of her estate. Prompting the question. Why if britney through her lawyer though is asking that jamie. Her father not be a part of her conservatorship. Why does jamie then still insist on being her conservative. Jamie serves as britain's conservator. Because he loves her. He wants the best for britney. Jamie's attorneys say court documents. Show that when he stepped in as conservator in two thousand eight britney's assets were only worth two point. Eight million dollars. They say he has worked with his daughter to increase her net. Worth to nearly sixty million in two thousand nineteen britney's assets were clearly being mismanaged and was being taken advantage of financially by some of those around her two thousand eight britney has released four albums. Start on a prime time show. I felt like i had a connection with you. The moment you started seeing and even hosted her own las vegas residency but she has not performed professionally since two thousand eighteen abruptly canceling her. Las vegas residency. The following year saying her dad was sick and she needs to focus on family fans now turning to the performers instagram account for behind the scenes glimpses into her life and hints about her wellbeing including dance video and messages to fans. I pulled out all of my jackets in the next day. It was really hot. It was very confusing and last november. Her attorney telling a judge. My client has informed me that she is afraid of her father adding she will not perform again if her father is in charge of her career. Can you explain why britney's lawyer is saying. She doesn't want her dad in charge of her finances anymore. Throughout twenty twenty brittany and her father had many conversations and in fact early on in the pandemic they spent two weeks with other family members. Hunker down in louisiana and they spend a lot of time together and in that time brittany never expressed those words to her father. She's never asked him to step aside. Why she then wouldn't just go onto social media and say hey guys. I don't need to be freed. Any time britney wishes to enter conservatorship. She can have her attorney file a petition to terminate it. She's never exercised this right in the past thirteen years. But for the of the freebritney movement like dustin strand the question remains what really is happening in britney's life tomorrow. We have our free pretty rally for years. Strand has traveled from phoenix to los angeles. Bree support you. We've known for a long time as conservative has been just. The next conservatorship hearing is expected in march a fight about which britney herself remains publicly

Here's nightline's auction sing. Tao guinean verbs. Morgan wallin embodied country music. His songs like seven summers ago. A celebration of small town living good friends and good times. The tennessee native rose to the top of the charts in two thousand eighteen with hits like whiskey glasses and never left at twenty seven years. Old wallin is one of the biggest stars in all of music now. A racial slur has stopped his meteoric rise in its tracks. A video obtained by tmz shows wallin and a group of his friends coming home early sunday morning after a night. Out on the town in nashville a neighbor was recording. When wallen said this his use of that racial epithet led to swift fallout his two record labels announcing in the wake of recent events they write big. Top radio chains of stopped playing his music including cumulus media iheart radio siriusxm and several others and tonight variety reporting his agent dropping him the academy of country music announcing that he is no longer eligible for any awards at their annual ceremony in april. This time i can think of really in any genre where somebody just went from being the biggest star to having zero airplay almost in the course of one day now. The country music industry finally forced to confront the issue of racism head. On what type of message is the industry sending by taking these stances. The message that is being spent right now is that the n. word is a no. I think that has been made clear. Can we get to the point now where we are also uncovering or working to undo the culture that supports artists. Like how do we even get an artist in this space who is essentially on top of the world instill talks like this. How did we get that. Why does he feel comfortable here. Doing that wallin apologized the statement to tmz. Saying i'm embarrassed and sorry. I used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur that i wish i could take back. There are no excuses to use this type of language ever. I want to sincerely apologize for using the word i promised to do better but for some the apology was too little too

Don't love the higher for the Chargers, but they made a higher How is it? The team? That had the first opening. Is also going to have the last opening. What sense does that make? You guys help explain that to me How Houston is the last team to hire head coach That's confusing to me. Now. They hired a general manager in the middle of this, but you have had since week five. Get all your ducks in a row about who, at the very worst you wanted to interview and they don't even have that together. They appear to be an organization that is not on the same page about anything. If you think about the pillar and the backbone of what makes your franchise successful, it is these four things. Owner, general manager. Head coach quarterback. They don't have Head coach, their quarterback would like to be traded. Their player personnel guy, Jack Easterby is upsetting everybody and their owner is just sitting. Why, like that childish Gambino gift where he walks in with the pizza. And the room is on fire. That's how the Texans are run. Right now. The Texans are one of the worst jobs in the league, which is crazy for a team that has a quarterback. But it's hard to call them anything other than one of the worst jobs in the league when the Lions were able to figure it out. Don't love the lines higher, but they found their guy They're giving him six years now. Understandable with no Matthew Stafford. They hired a former NFL head coach and Anthony Lynn. Like there are here making the right decisions. Never would've guessed this from the Lions. I never would have guessed that the lines were gonna be this functional as an organization, but they've been functional. They're finding themselves as an organization that is making the correct moves. That's not the Lions, though, so there is a report today from Al Mondo, said Garrow. Which says There are two preferred destinations for two Shall Watson. Now one is the Miami Dolphins and the Dolphins make a lot of sense. They got a really strong head coach. Love Brian floors. I think Flora's has done a fantastic job. Let's not kid ourselves. It wasn't that long ago where we looked at the Miami Dolphins is the team that was purposely trying to lose without them is a team that was tanking for quarterback tank for two up. They traded Minka Fitzpatrick that we now see is one of the better defensive players in the NFL. They traded Larry Me, Tunsil. And they were in the business of acquiring draft picks. They now have those draft picks their playoff caliber roster, and they appear to be a team that's heading in the right direction. Would understand wanting to go to Miami now understanding that for them to acquire you, it's going to take a lot of the assets that they have and assets that could help them improve. With that team and that city you'll be able to get free agents and you're playing the long game here. If you're too shall wants and not just the quick money in 2021. The other team he has to go for is the New York Jets. Now, brother. Say this to Shawn is somebody who cares about you. Say this somebody who wants to see you have success and wants you to be happy. What is the jet situation have that Houston doesn't have If the NFL major market doesn't matter, the two biggest stars in the NFL playing Kansas City, Missouri and Green Bay, Wisconsin. It's a matter what market that urine You went to a major university. You're a nice looking guy. Oh, well spoken guy. You don't need to be in a major market. What are we talking about here? One of the Jets have That the Texans don't have Maybe you just want new, all right? Nothing wrong with just want new. Sometimes the devil you don't know is better than the devil. You do know. But I can't believe for a guy who would have a lot of leverage. Ah guy who could be able to dictate things. You would waive your no trade clause to go play for the Jets. Okay? All right. I guess. I hope it works out. In the end, I think cooler heads are going to prevail, and I do think that.

"It's also who was in charge of that family and that's different than was in charge of marvel's family from that's why you get ten years you've got a guy who said back and he had all these people give him these great ideas and he's like i like it i like it. I like what. I like all of them. Let's start a company. It also helps that. He's raised enough to. I told chris my period before. I'm still convinced he was drunk at the oscars. Someone said. you can't make a movie with a talking records at watch. This and that's how got guardians and that's how we got truck. I get a lot of these ideas when he is high drunk or stupid stupid slapstick tired and he's got she won't and he's like all cast gardens the galaxy inner two biggest stars are typically stars. Well not only do press for the movies. You only get their voices and one of them will only say pretty words. Yup and you will like it. It'll make so much money. What what. I like about it because nobody really you know. They're very very quiet about what the future them see. You is in this new phase here. But then they're not right because of the different things named the fact that with all these little hint getting right dropping a morris dropping you know kane in the fact that oh yeah yeah we have developed right. This is a quite drop into you. Know yeah yeah we're we're we're we're doing the for family. And and and people are so focused on that. Tom dumont none of all the points. You're missing all the other pieces of their dropping about what they're really trying to do here with the fantastic four and like that should be more exciting to you. How you know sort is improving the negatives on you know what i'm saying like this shit like this. Yeah it's that. Ip coming home means a lot more than the ten polls. Just the coming home. The licensing abruptly ended with companies like netflix. Who bring back from there. I mean it's it's all that stuff that you you let go and then you look at the fact that the kinda mid we couldn't do before because of the light and seeing the came with fox's shows you how far down the because again if my question is all right but like was fox really kind of like would have really been a big deal with sword so the fact that why would you guys even want sword. It's like it's like they're they're doing some some deep cuts in and that's actually a newer thing to sword and so we are bringing things together and seeing what they're trying to do here like yeah so now you bring in the fantastic four. So what do you bring with the fantastic. Four people go with the big thing to. Obviously you know galactic doom and things like that but it's like again that's small when you think about it the thing about what the fantastic ip brings with you and what he was doing this. And now that you have tv series that you can bring in intel some of the lead up to the bigger things we are. We are not ready for what they're what they're doing here. And when you start tying in what. You're seeing here doctor. Strange with a mortis king and all this other stuff and then eventually obviously the fantastic four being the culmination of all that. Yeah yeah but like is it just me but i'm also like i wasn't happy with what marvel did with a little white boy should've.
