And they have their man former Kansas state quarterback Alex Delton announced on Twitter tonight that he's flipping his commitment from you tap to join TCU. "What were the what were the three by the way that three types of casper mattresses available? You've got an original, you've got a wave and you've also got the essential. Would you call that the. Alternate sleeping triple option. It's the holy trinity of should good use of geometry by the way, and I would add if you're not a Rambus or whatever, it's it's cool to if you have a normal body people were if you are a you ready? Yeah, don't deca he'd drawn. Yup. Yup. Twelve at twelve sided. That sounds right. Yeah, sounds right. All right. Let's talk football, big twelve, only two games to discuss here. Let's go quickly Oklahoma, fifty two TCU twenty-seven. This was my lock of the week. While they're in, it was looking like we had the occult forces of the factor of six applying in this game. Well, I mean we did have your nineteen right with LSU. I don't know if I called for nineteen in that game. No, I'm saying, well, you just like when teams score nineteen. I'm very strange about the nineteen point. Totally. Yes. Oklahoma one by twenty five for while they're up eighteen. This was the fourth straight time. Oklahoma scored thirty eight or more against TCU which is concerning if you're Gary Patterson, that's that's a bit concerning. We also saw Michael Collins come on for Sean Robinson. Midway through the second quarter. He did make a difference for the horned frogs through two quick touchdown passes got TCU back in the game, but really the story here I thought was Oklahoma's ground game. Great game Kennedy Brooks. He's a freshman had something of a coming out party in this game. One hundred sixty eight yards and a touchdown, Trey sermon also up over one hundred yards with two touchdowns of his own a bit of a scare for him when he went down with a knee out and he gets beat up, I think I think he's gonna be okay, but Oklahoma clearly dominated on the ground. They also had Kyle Murray with another casual for touchdowns through the air. The final score. We're here was fifty two to twenty seven the Sooners knock off TCU on the road and Oklahoma's I said at the top in a bit of an interesting spot now I don't see them losing the rest of the way depending on how things shake out in front of them. They could still be a factor in this whole playoff discussion. Certainly as relates to the big twelve again depending on how things go. So this is a big win that they needed on the road and they got it here. Yeah, I would. I would also add, so it's rough and McNeil's first game as interim defensive coordinator and all things considered. I think TCU only scored twenty points on offense. Camonte Turpin had a ridiculous. Kick return for a touchdown, and given the number of drives TCU had and making the quarterbacks, which whatever I thought mostly positive for Oklahoma on defense, which is good. That's not a thing..

"Ooh. Needs to be in needs to be if you're going to win the pick. Oh my God. That's why I love playing this. Like we'll favorite shirt thing. Yeah, we will see. I'm sure there'll be a lot of texts being fired around during that game. I can imagine that because that's we love to talk to each other. And speaking of we can talk about the game that the most I think the most shit talking has happened between the three of us during the, oh, you Texas game a few weeks ago. So, oh, you playing TCU. You guys saw TCU in person last week. We talked about it. They're not great this year. They're kind of let down and then, oh, you hasn't played. They had a bye week fired their defensive coordinator after that Texas game, they're favored by nine. And I mean, I feel like this is one of those games in the big twelve. It's like right now because West Virginia laws, like you mentioned EV obviously, Texas loss earlier in the season in Maryland. Oh, you has lost like I have no idea who the best team in the big twelve is either because there's just so many question marks if, oh, you can come in and take her at TCU even though they're not that great right now if they can blow them out, then I think you look at Texas and all you and say, okay, that big twelve championships gonna look pretty pretty exciting and interesting. Texas Tech controls their own destiny and let me just put that out there. Okay. And Texas, I my bad for not mentioning Texas Tech because yes, they do, and cliffs team is looking good. So that's my bad for leaving them out. Oh, good. Oh, good. Ongoing in this game, man. A huge part of me wants to take TCU in the nine points here. But again, oh, us coming off that by. I think that's a really big advantage for Lincoln Riley in his guys coming off an emotional loss from Texas, like you said, fired their d. coordinator. I think. I think they're gonna get it rolling this week. I would take TC when the point, but I'm not sure their quarterback is right. He's coming off that that brutally, that brutal game against Texas Tech was a slugfest. He didn't look right to me. Sean Robinson, TCU's quarterback. He's really talented gonna be a really good player. I don't think they're completely healthy. So for that reason, give me the Sooners at home to cover. Yeah, I think. Oh, you still the team in the big twelve that we thought they were at the beginning of the season. I don't think a rivalry game coming down the way it did is enough for two. To lose faith in Oklahoma. Think they got beat in the game. That was really a good day and could have gone either way, and they still have the rest of their schedule where you know you expect them to win the game they're in. So I, I don't think this change anything. I mean, if be what the game last week, I think they're going back is a little bit banged up. He didn't look like himself on a lot of throws, and I think, oh, you still the team in the big twelve at everybody thought they were a team still going to get back and try, and you know, climb their way back into things. I agree. I mean, let's go across the board. Let's all take you because I'm a broken record here. I just I really liked Kyla. Murray is not been perfect, but I think he's the best quarterback by far in that league..

"But to me, I just can't see TC you being able to score with them? Yes. I mean TCU is a rare home dog first time. Second time in three years that they've that they've been a home dog in this role. The other time was Arkansas in two thousand sixteen. They were seven point favorite and and and law in a home dog role they lost. So you have Oklahoma who knows how to win on the road there nine into and the way favourite. You have an offense. It's still averaging forty eight points and five hundred twenty five yards per game. And you're on the flipside Sean Robinson. He still has a ninety eight ratio. They're they're not the same team. They're averaging four point six yards per carry. And the biggest thing to me is, you know, when when you're giving up those their third down, conversions are. Does not what we're used to seeing with TCU. So in this instance, you know, usually you get an uptick with a new DC who knows if that's the case or not. But no matter how I play this game out in my head, TCU's defense is not the same that can bring Oklahoma's offense down to the level they can win. And I don't think TCU's offense even against Oklahoma's very poor defense this year can score enough. So when I play out those two scenarios, you know, I have to back the Sooners with the rest off TCU which is now three and three. This is a situation that's now tough commander. 'cause you know, you have no more shock to win anything in your interconference. You know, you have. You have road game at West Virginia and road game at Baylor coming up, you still three more road games in conference play. This is gonna be Patterson's toughest coaching. Keeping these kids prepared and playing the TCU level after the first half of the season, which is something keeps you hasn't seen in a while. Well, and that's an important point. We talked about that a little bit yesterday on the show with regards to know teams like Penn State and Wisconsin teams have picked up a second loss that really have no feasible shot at the college football playoff. Now..

"Time to come out of the tunnel on campus conversation. So back to TCU and Texas Tech. And I said a couple of days ago with Heather Dench on this podcast that I'd gotten into an argument with someone about Ohio State and, hey, they've got a, they got good winds not only Penn State, but also TCU and I was met with an argument about that from from one of my cohorts here DSP n and I was standing by it, hey, that TC who ends a good win. That's a good win. I remember what that game was in week three. That was a healthy TCU team. They look good. They look fast, and now they are a five hundred team and Adam. I just wonder the ripple effects not only for Ohio State that has that win over TCU, but also, hey, look, Oklahoma still has to play TCU. They're trying to get back up in the rankings. Texas has a win over TCU that wind doesn't look that that great. I may have answered the question in the the question that I'm asking you, but what does that loss? What does that loss really mean for the rest of the league? And. Maybe we'll have state. Yes, it does. Definitely doesn't help the big twelve. But I mean in a weird way of Ohio State beats Maryland, which feet Texas, which BTC you, maybe you get a little bit of credit. But yeah, it does not look as much of a resume builder, but the bottom line is you're that win against Penn State on the road, I think, is going to resonate much more and was going to resonate much more than the win against TCU. I was at the game. I believe you were at the game. It was very Ohio State heavy that crowd, even though the game was just down the street from TCU's campus, whereas there were not. There is not a lot of scarlet and gray and beaver stadium on September twenty nine. So I can say it doesn't look that great for Ohio State, but it is long as the buckeyes win the big ten with zero or one loss. I think they're going to get into the college football playoff because they took care of business away from home a couple of times. But it certainly TCU. This doesn't look like the same team that we saw in the first half against Ohio State, and they've had some injuries, Sean Robinson and certainly not one. Hundred percent. They've been banged up on their offensive line. They that a lot of trouble turning the ball over, especially last night against a very aggressive, Texas Tech defense. And you just look at the rest of the season and you gotta think Gary Patterson is going to have some success here. Maybe pull off an upset or two down the stretch, but this is not a TCU team that's going to be contending. At least right now, they don't look like they're going to be contending for the big twelve championship and Ivan when it comes to quality wins, really with the committee, looks at as they say, okay. How many wins do you have over teams with above? Five hundred records winning records. And right now TCU sitting there are three and three. I'm not saying it's going to be the deciding factor, but we have to. We have to acknowledge that there are ripple effects of of the TCU of a of a team like this that you thought was going to be good and maybe might be a five hundred team at the end of the year. Well, sure. I mean, the beauty of talking about the playoff all year long is that we get to talk about the playoff all year long. The flaw in the argument is that the season changes so dramatically week to week. You know, a lot of times it really is for museum purposes only and this so much that can change. We've only played half the season. There's so much left to happen. You know, I was reminded of that when I thought about Leonard fournette hoisting up that Heisman Trophy. He won a few years ago. Which we had all just were so sure was his and. Didn't turn out to be that way. Oh, see what happens with TCU again, falling to three and three..

"Where do you want to go? Next, Dan, let's go to Thursday night. Thursday night. We've got a little alliterate here, Thursday night, football, Texas Tech, and TCU. The spread is seven points in favor of TCU. They're playing this one at TCU are we sure that TCU can score with Texas Tech. That is my question to you. No, especially since Sean Robinson got hurt. I think he's going to go against against the red raiders, but he hurt his shoulder and that is worrisome. When Texas Tech is probably gonna score points and they have their own injury issues. Alan Bowman looks like gives me British comedy legend, Alan Bowman. He's like he will be going against the frogs because he no longer has a like half collapsed lung. Okay. Which would keep either of us out indefinitely would not be able to tell the end of time. I'll be able to podcast with such. I we, as it has. I can't afford collapsing in that region. No. I think if TCU I mean, this is not been a funnier for TCU they had they get up for Ohio State. They have that letdown against Texas. They sneak by Iowa State. I like the fact that TCU a buy week going into a tough game that'll help to define the second half of their season. So yes, I think they do win this game by eight or nine points. Texas Tech is still very much a mystery right now they are. They are. They storm back against West. Virginia wasn't quite enough, but I think TCU at home has enough answers on that defense to a to get some stops. I'm not sure that the correct team is favored here, so I'm gonna go out. Yeah, I'm gonna go points, Texas Tech, plus the points. I don't know if they win outright much just feels like too many points here and I do trust in their offense scored. So one thing you can trust and Texas Tech to do the numbers like tech lot to keep this a lot closer. Yeah, they do. They do. Okay. Saturday, high noon, ESPN Florida. At Vanderbilt. The point spread here is said. I said it last week. This is a prime letdown look ahead sandwich Dutt's which I'm so I'm so hungry. I don't know if it's a full on sandwich. It might be an open faced. Letdown look, hey, sandwich because there's a by on deck here for Florida. But of course the big win at home, twenty seven and nineteen over LSU last Saturday. Now they go on the road to let down look ahead to start up. Yeah. Okay. Okay. I don't think Florida loses, but I do think vandy gives them a game. I do think vandy covers the point spread at home here. Let's say Florida wins by a twenty twenty four twenty one score. Okay. So vandy does cover. I would love to take the doors here, love Nashville, friends with a former player. I just it's all offensive lineman in my life. I. Shoutout Kenan Arkan though. Yeah, I'm going to go Florida comfortably here. Okay. I would love to take vandy I if I could sit here and say, you know what? Vans defense is not bad that that's where it is for me. I'm all in on vandy Bengazi fence. Is that bad? I'm going Florida. I'm not thinking twice. Florida will keep it simple and still succeed running all over the doors. Why don't you join me on the dark side here because you know that I'm big on these situational plays. I called it with San Diego State earlier in the year. And you just show then San Diego State has that defense though they do the defense, you're right about that. Florida wins thirty seven to seventeen also at high noon. You've got ABC. Broadcasting, Nebraska at northwestern. The point spread here started at eight and a half in favor of northwestern's come all the way down to three and a half. That's a lot of money coming in on Brassica and I like Nebraska because of Adri Martinez. I think he's exciting, north Western's all over the place. I honestly don't know what to make them. They lose to Duke. In Akron, they almost beat Michigan. They did beat Michigan state a week ago. I, this is probably a really horrible game to watch. Oh, but Nebraska's defense is the worst unit on the field..

"I like the Arkansas state side as well. All right. Let's go to serve the night couple of games, Thursday in Georgia, Southern getting a little bit of law or they are a seventeen sixteen point favorite here against Texas State. Texas states get a little bit of love here today. We'll see if that winds up meaning anything, but the other, the one I wanna talk about in the big twelve, Texas Tech TCU TCU seven and a half point home favourite here. In this one, we had a little bit of a delay with this line trying to see who's going to play quarterback for Texas Tech. But this is a very interesting game to me both of these teams well rested both these teams off of a by. So no, really know what to worry about any bad situational spots here for this Thursday. Not fair. What do you think about this one? Kyle. You know, it's harder for me to have a strong opinion on this game. There's a bunch of heat guys questionable for this game. Alan Goldman questionable quarterback for Texas Tech, Sean Robinson, questionable quarterback for TCU on just Johnson. The best defensive player on Texas Tech's roster questionable for this game their their primary running back. It's questionable Texas Tech and one of their starting receivers. You know, both teams have some key injuries here. I, I had this line at minus seven and a half, and it looks like that's what it's come out at. So I, I don't. I don't know what to make this game. It'd be totally honest with, you know, maybe maybe if I had to take anything in this game, I've lean toward yonder if Jonathan plays, especially, I think Texas defense is a lot better with him TCU. I know that when I was reading about that and they said they want to get the ball up more to theory..

"The defense is fine. I just I don't. I don't know that Sean Robinson is confident downfield even with, you know, he's got to good running backs. He's got three good receivers this, this felt like it would have been thirty one fourteen game with Trevan boykin. Oh, it definitely would've definitely would've so, but Robinson's a first year starting quarterback. Yeah, and we'll see. I mean, you know, in in a bad position because they've already lost Texas. They still to play Oklahoma. They just this might not be there year where they're competitive in the big twelve. All right. Let's go out west Friday night Colorado. Even though it's close at halftime runs away from UCLA. Stephen Montanez looks like he's one of the best three or four quarterbacks in the conference if not higher. And they have maybe one of the best five or six receivers in the country and LA, viscous Chenault heart, tell with who Colorado has played this far Nebraska and UCLA probably not the best measuring sticks. Yeah. We were talking about this on the radio last week and we had Mike MacIntyre on, and he said, he's like, we don't really know what we are yet because we just we have not had that that kind of test yet. And I think the problem is they still haven't crime. UCLA is not good. UCLA is going to be bad all year, and she's not going to tell you very much, but the good news for Colorado is the test do begin soon. So you get a visit from her this week and you know that that will test that offense because I think I think Zona say, defensively, they got some dudes. I love Renault Ren in the middle of that defense. He can blow up some stuff and makes makes you running game very difficult to to operate with him around. And then obviously Colorado's defense, we'll have to deal in the kill. Harry, the Nikial. Harry Lewis cushion matchup that now playing on the field of same time. But that's two of the best receivers in the country going at it. The Pac twelve has right now they've developed between JJ Sega, Whiteside, viscous Chenault, mceal Harry, Aaron. Fuller at Washington has been a quiet revelation and Dylan Mitchell at Oregon. They're putting together a nice class of receivers, this absolutely in guessing guys throwing the ball to. Yes. That makes a big difference like Montanez and Manny Wilkins. We weren't talking about as being great quarterbacks come into the season, but they get the job done. Yes, they are above average quarterbacks, which is not always coming in college football, let's stay live in Gainesville, Florida. Did I mention you did mention that? So UCLA right now, there were no real expectations going into season, but they sit enforce Cincinnati is better than we thought they'd be. They've played good to decent team, so it's not fully say UCLA is blowing it against bad teams. They have the Arizona schools Arizona's worse than Arizona state's. Utah's offense is still not all that good, but they have really good defense UCLA wears. The wind is now becoming a question, and I don't know where it is. May maybe it's Zona. But. Well, listen, USC will play down to you. That's like, that's true. That's true. But I mean, I can't see them beating organ not can't see them beating Utah. Cal looks like the type of team now, Justin Wilcox is like Mr. maddening, consistency. So even though they don't have the quarterback, they want right now for for what they'd like to do, they're still going to be a consistent, good defensive team that doesn't do per well coached. Yeah, exactly. So I don't like their chances against them either. Obviously, I don't like their chances Washington. Yeah. The Zona game on the twentieth is probably the. The most winnable game there because this could be home, man, this could be ugly. I hadn't looked all the way down the schedule at how bad it could be. But fair point by. By the folks that be nation after they lost Morgan Moriarty wrote about how chips probably gonna have more losses this year than he had in the entirety of his ten years at Oregon head coach chip, Kelly, believe if you look back to the NFL time, he's to eighteen in his last twenty, something crazy like that. So I, I think UCLA will be okay, but as there's nothing that tells me one hundred percent UCLA is going to become a nine win team with him. I just right now I can't say that, but we'll say he's got..

"Third quarter because Ohio State got a sixty three yard touchdown reception by Paris Campbell. Nice run then twenty eight yard Germont Jones interception return. Then Ohio State blocked a punt and through four, twenty four yard touchdown, pass all within the span of four minutes later on in the third quarter TCU for their part this. This is a back and forth game TCU was not at all intimidated by Hieaux state just a couple mistakes by Shawn Robinson that I think really tip the balance in favor of Ohio State in this one. But all in all. I thought both teams played a pretty good game here. I would say pretty significant mistake by the refs for not allowing that super cool forward pass kick return, right? Yeah, come on. Let that one slide. Even though we clearly. Forward like five and a half yards. It wasn't even close when I when I watched it. I was like, oh, I don't think that was backward. But let's let's take a look at the tape to see if even got a little bit of a question, their new, not not. No, I came away impressed significantly with both teams obviously. But TCU I thought had a great game plan. You know, the damn eventually broke because of, you know, high. Oh, states defense, overwhelming TCU later on, especially that huge third quarter, but I was impressed with Darius Anderson. Sean Robinson made a number of very big throws in that. Also, sort of includes big, throws for Ohio State with a couple of deflating interceptions and eventually the buckeyes just ice this with JK Dobbins who runs like I imagine a Greek God who was a solidly built a little bit short. All-purpose back would run as I mean, just churning. I love when announcer say, churning, churn me think of butter and I dunno, whatever. Reason that use that for the drum and fife on Cherney sexy, big stinky churning. Ohio State just too much, and by the way, just keep lathering me enjoying has Wayne housing. Yeah, only rushing three times in a big game for Ohio states with saying Sem etlinger rushed for what seventeen times against USC. So Beck Meyer syndrome not really happening without Meyer and through the air. Dwayne Haskins is good. Looks like he's been there starter for two and a half year. He's so so good. Twenty four of thirty eight two touchdowns. Impressive to see him out there in a big game Iran start. Yeah, sure. Sean Robinson, I thought looked pretty good, had some mistakes, but if you're TCU fan, I think.

"I mean, 'cause we haven't seen them against. We've actually seen them, I guess, to power five teams that we haven't seen too good tower five team. My suspicion though is Ohio State wins this game pretty easily because I think this is this is probably the best Ohio State team since two thousand fifteen, which I know we were 'cause they win the national title, but that that teams more talented than seeing that did with the national no doubt. Oh, I, I like this team. I like the dynamic with Wayne Haskins a quarterback because when urban Meyer comes back, Haskins will keep Meyer from doing the thing that he tends to do. Sometimes that doesn't help them, and that's over rely on his quarterback to run the ball. When his quarterback run the ball, he tends to become overlying on it. He won't do that with Haskins. They'll have to keep feeding Dobbins and and Weber and guess what they're going to be awfully hard to stop and say, do that. Just worry a little bit about the Ohio offense ally. 'cause I agree there, talented, and then you just looked up some numbers on Gary Patterson TCU in this underdog type role. Last nine games. They've been an underdog against a team not named Oklahoma. They're eight and one against the number with five outright wins. Since they've joined the big twelve, they've been a double digit dog, four times covered all them and they've won outright three losses came by one two and three points. I think when the game by two touchdowns. But some some of these recent success things with with Gary is dog. Just give me a little bit of hesitation well, and he's so good at adjusting in game two. He if you, if you beat him with something he can adjust and and keep you from beating beating with it. Again thing about this, you know the games you mentioned you a lot of big, twelve games. The talent level at Ohio State is so much better than the town. Level anywhere in the Bill except maybe Oklahoma, but the fact of the matter is it's still better than what Oklahoma has on both sides of the ball offense of the probably pretty equal defensively. It's not even close Ohio states much better. And yes, I know that Oklahoma went up to Norman and went up to Columbus and one last year I get that. But the fact of the matter is when the NFL draft happens, you will see they don't have state was more talented team. I, I, I'm really interested seal how states defense in this game that that's, I mean, they could come out in like John Sean Robinson, trying to deal with pressure from that line issue is the part I really worry about for TCU in worried about Gary defense, it own. Yeah, scary defense made players are really short fields because they may struggle to move the ball and you can only design so many quarterback runs because he's going to get popped and he's not right. You know, he's he's not built like you and I, you know. Pretty big dude. I know he's a little skinny little skinny, but hey, those guys have to be these days. I got a real serious question here for you. What's your, what's your go-to red, Robin, as I'm pretty partial towards the, the mushroom Swiss and a ball of French onion. I be the spicy pepper, but I now I can't remember what it's called, but when I did the photo she with Wisconsin line the server there, she put me on to the one that has the fried avocado on it with with the with the like the candy bacon. It's awesome. I've never had that one. How many patties. Wherever it comes with. But you know, I'm happy to eat as many one. That time I was playing eat more burgers. So I just ordered the way it counts double Turkey Patty to if you want to. If you're alive, I will never order. One of those never order our Bruce Feldman. I tend to dine with him a lot when we run into Jenner on the road and he'll order it circuit breaker. And he'll only see this every time you know, kinda disappointed. It's Turkey..

"One more fellas the big twelve. I don't have a lot to say about this other than this is amazing to me in this and this is the this is the one brother Bry we typically, I don't know. We're in the red more with the big twelve. We'll never be able to to balance back, right? We we never, we never we. We'd probably go to and fifteen every year betting big twelve. And you would think like the overs easy or not. Now everything's adjusted and everything's adjusted against us, but TCU allowed zero to fourteen points against every big twelve opponent last year except Oklahoma. That's crazy. In this this conference, they were in the big twelve title game last year. They're five to one odds, the big win, the big twelve there seven and two in the conference in two thousand seventeen. All right there at Texas twenty-second they have Oklahoma at home on the twentieth in there at West Virginia in October. I still think they can make the championship game at nine to three at nine and three and then five to one odds. I liked TCU. I'm going. See you do to win that big, twelve conference brother, Bry. What are you say? Just get it out of whatever we're taking his losing anyway. Right. I know right? There's certain teams big, twelve north western. Well, Duke for me. Hopefully not this year and Houston, those Houston. But I'm I'm with you, so I love TCU this year. I love them on the winds. I love them over seven wins. I loved them to win the conference. Look, if you look at three of the last four years, they've been eleven three. Eleven to twelve in one though in Gary Patterson, I trust right right now the big twelve is kind of a mess. The why can't they replicate it? They're going to start off the season to know they also Kansas later on. So that's automatically three now. So you only have to go five and four. The rest of the way. Look, I know they have a tough stretch back to back in weeks, three and four when they have Ohio State and Texas. But if they split in one of those games, they're going at least nine and three, maybe ten and two or who knows what this conference. I mean, they can. They can easily easily win every you know, they could one loss in this conference dinner. It's very possible for them. So they have the like you were saying, which is a crazy stat. Like last year they gave up nineteen points per game and total, which is amazing. For team playing in the big twelve, which is crazy so, but they also on offense. They bring in Sean Robinson. They have back a lot of their starters on defense. And again, that's where that's where the money's made with them. So I really liked them to win the conference over seven and a half. I'm all in on us. We really are banking on their defense because I think Sean Robinson attempt to like twenty five passes last season, but he, he's actually like the highest rated recruit. It said they'd ever had. All right. So he looked pretty good on film. You're taking their overt also, right? That's your over pick taking over seven and a half end to win the conference parlay kid. What do you like in the big twelve. Well, you so, you know, it's, it's ironic I actually think that TCU's gonna regress a little bit this year. I think Oklahoma's still the class of this conference out today. They named Cuyler Murray. They're starting quarterback. I have you seen this kid, these athletic dynamo guy drafted in baseball, so might worry that his focus is more in baseball. This kid is out to prove this year that is one of the greatest athletes in college football. He wants to prove that to himself an everyone else that is superior athlete. I think you can. You're gonna put this kid in coach Reilly's offense. I'm not sure even without Mayfield that this offense is gonna skip a beat, running back. Rodney Anderson is back wide receiver. Marquees Brown is back both excellent dynamic players top recoup recruiting class. If this defense even slightly improved the, this is the best team in this conference. Circled the September fifteenth game at Iowa State, maybe a little bit of a revenge game. I, I don't see them losing their back to back years and they only have a besides that this three other, oh games..

"Yes. Does you see him? No, he's really good. Super gonna pins teams inside the tent. Yeah, he was. I believe, according to our friend Bill Connolly worth an extra I down per drive or something crazy. I'll take it. I'll take it really, really good that will hurt to lose. Let's go to TCU showy. Let's. Okay. TCU tenant to year ago because we are framing all of this out in the context of why we care about each team while we care about each conference. I care about TCU because TCU as the best defense in the big twelve and okay. As I said with the Texas capsule I view having defense in the big twelve as a competitive advantage because again, the conference is generally known for its defense. You have one, it helps a lot. They do lose five starters from year ago, but defense is is sort of Gary Patterson thing. Now I'm gonna. I'm gonna qualify that a little bit just by saying that has an always been his thing. Like the last couple years defenses have fallen short of expectations at TCU. But generally he's a good coach. He knows defense. I think this is going to be the best defense in the big twelve. Do you feel the same? Why think is one thousand percent is. Thing that'll think there's any doubt about that. Yeah, there's there have been times where TCU's defense hasn't been phenomenal, but by and large in a conference that is year in year out, so fun in so potent offensively and spreading teams out and playing with tempo and having Gary Patterson recruits and put so many talented players on defense into cycle. So many of them in year over year and get the results that he's gotten threatening to win, you know, ten plus games totally most years? Yeah, I still think even if he doesn't meet the expectations of his best recent defenses, they should have an incredible defense. I agree. I think I agree. And so much of that is offense is about rhythm, and I think defenses in large part. Like if you have decent coaching about effort, caring, and having, you know a decent too deep everywhere to to mitigate any injuries and Gary Patterson and his. Defensive staff every year seemed to get these players to care and to play with with enthusiasm. And I think that's huge. Absolutely. And that defense, by the way, is going to test Ohio State in week three that games, neutral, cider in Arlington, it's going to test Texas in Austin on week four. We will find out very quickly how good is defense is at least out of the chute with that being said, knowing that there are some heavy hitters on that early schedule. Mike question about TCU is on offense. All I can say right now is that I like some of the parts I don't know about the whole and a big part of why I don't know about the whole is because Sean Robinson, he's off more quarterback. I will be saying a prayer before each show this fall so that I don't call him a Sean Robinson. Okay. Well, he is a Sean RAV he is, but. That's just, you know, me and how I thought you were gonna say a prayer for cubeys, but well, of course we always do, but also gone. I'm just saying, I'm worried, you know me that is something that I might end up doing. I may just go fully shown Robinson by the end of the year, but nonetheless. I like what TCU has coming back on the whole. I think their third best team in the conference, a close third behind Texas, and you're not gonna believe this, but TCU was one of the two teams. I bet on good. I think that's a good bet. Twenty eighteen. It's. It's been crazier for all of us. I personally have been trying to focus on what's important to me and TCU just means too much to me..
